These are beautiful and functional and fit great on our round 42 inch table. Nice cork back keeps sliding down to minimum and easy to wipe. Have just gotten them so dont have longevity comments.

This is a really well designed item. Not only does it clean up really well, but the multi colors look really good. We use if over our diving room table on a daily basis, and it's really held up well with daily cleaning. Great customer service from the company and fast shipping. Word of advice: when we received this, it was rolled in a tight tube and did not lay flat. We thought it was permanently bent, but after just a few days, all the creases/bends disappeared. So if you buy one and you think it's damaged, just give it a few days laid flat on your table. It will look good in no time.

I received these placemats yesterday and used them for the first time last night. They look exactly as pictures in your offering. The color blue leans more towards turquoise and works very well with my room. I placed hot dishes on them and they are heat resistant as promised. They also look as though they will clean up easily with a damp rag. Very satisfied with my purchase and think they are priced fairly.

I love these. The colors are indescribable like incandescent trees in a forest. I love the little sheen in the Border. They look real yet wike up easily.I place them on top of a beautiful high-quality also vinyl tablecloth. They were so pretty that between uses I set the table and keep it sent until the next use which, because I am single can be quite a stretch. Two benefits - - the table always looks pretty when it's set, and no other male or laundry or other items get stacked on the table so it always looks nice in that room now. I highly recommend these.

They look nice and easily wipe clean. They're a bit slippery so they can move around a bit if they're on a very smooth table, but with a place setting on them they stay put. Good buy

I have never bought vinyl placemats before. We had them when I was a kid, and I associate them with sticky elbows. But I wanted to replace the heavy duty plastic shelf liner paper (the kind with ridges that can also be used in the fridge) with something a bit dressier for an exposed shelf in my kitchen. So I got these in gold.They are great. They are thin and they are flexible. And yes, they are elegant. The two tone color comes from using the reverse side as decorative elements on the opposite side. It's your choice which side to display. It's almost like they cut and sewed the different sides of the material into a design. When I first pulled them out of the box I thought they were a lattice weave with holes, but there are no holes. They just give that appearance because they are so thin. And they are incredible grippers too.

These are beautiful place mats but slide easily so probably not the best choice for small children. Did not notice any curvature in the 4 sets I ordered. I have only used one so far.

very colorful, a bit smaller and thinner than the set I replacd-bought yrs ago at williams sonoma- though happy to find these and will use them--good bright colors-

I love the look of these place mats. I have a bistro themed kitchen and these look wonderful. The material is solid and you can't beat the price.

I like the placemats however, they are thicker than I thought they would be. There is quite an edge, so the glass needs to stay on the table top or it could tip over and spill. Product is sturdy and easy to clean.

Nice mats with colors that really pop. I thought they would be a touch bigger, and they seem to sort of curve away from the table making them susceptible to spinning on the center. Hopefully they will flatten out after a while. On several mats the brown color on the perimiter was a little flaked, but we just touched it up with some paint we had lying around. Hopefully they hold up to a lot of wiping.

I've had these for over a year. I really love the print, and the colors are exactly as pictured. My only problem is, over time, the cork backing has been flaking off. I've seen similar placemats at a friend's home, but hers were a few years older and a little heavier and more well-made. Still, you don't see the backs, so overall I'm hapy with them!

They're not going to win any design awards but they look exactly as pictured. Since they're vinyl they're very easy to clean and they also stay in place and help keep dinnerware in place on top of them. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is.... c'mon, it's vinyl. Way overpriced, but the only placemat I could find that met my needs. I'm happy with them.

Very nice mats. Sometimes crumbs will get stuck but come out easily when shaken.

These look really nice, but slip and slide all over the place. They also don't absorb any liquid and are not the easiest to keep clean.

It's nice. Only thing is crumbs get stuck in the wholes so its a little tricky to get it out when you wash it.

These placemats arrived in perfect condition and lay completely flat. They are beautiful and look great on our dark walnut table in this nice gold color. My only complaint would be that my messy son has gotten some food in the crevices and I can't seem to get them quite as clean as I'd like. However, they have proven themselves to be pretty waterproof and I feel our table is nicely protected! The spilled cup of liquid all stayed on the right side of the mat, which I was thrilled about!

Very pretty and easy to clean. They take a long time to dry though as the water stays trapped in the weave and drips onto the table. Also not as protective of my wood table as I would like as any food with liquid content, or liquid dripped on them will also seep through onto the table you wish to protect. So very beautiful but not the best at protection.

Attractive enough but the cork is a little too thick. Glasses and/or cups could easily tip over and off the mat.

Look nice but will not lay flat. They are slightly concave so spin around. This is the replacement set but has the same flaw as the original ones.

The design and strength are great. Unfortunately, the cork backing picks up little bits of food or salt and scratches the table. I now have to have a woodworker refinish the table top. I would not recommend them for wood tables.

My son bought me a small apartment size dinnette set, which is really too small to find a table cloth for. I saw these and liked the mediterranean style picture on the mat. It took forever to get them, which is I suspect, an Amazon shipping issue. However, like most people have said, they do not lie completely flat as they are very rigid and packed very tightly in a clear plastic wrapping. I suspect after a few weeks as the cork gets a chance to breathe they will level out some, but unless you have plates on them, they do tend to spin. For the price, they are pretty good though and cheaper than anything else I found for my use.

What a shame that spills go right through. Other than that it's a nice mat.

These mats are attractive and easy to wash, but I am afraid they won't hold up too well. One developed a pull very quickly, and a couple others are starting to fray a bit. They were not very expensive though, so I suppose they were worth it.

We really like the placemats. But for some reason, they came loosely folded over in half. The box was big enough to have laid them flat. The crease is just now getting to where it is not so noticeable after about 6 weeks.

Hard to clean. Collects everything in it. Not really non-slip. Looks pretty

These mats look nice but they are a open weave so if something is wet it will go thru the mat and not protect your table underneath, depends on what you are using them on/for if that matters to you.

Nice looking placemats, they are of good weight and don't feel flimsy despite being cork. UNFORTUNATELY, one of the mats had a visibly chipped edge within the cellophane wrapping. The box used for shipping was undamaged which means that the mat was already damaged when it was packed. It's extremely inconvenient to return so I'm stuck with them. Luckily only $14.99. Would have given at least 4 stars if they were all undamaged.

The first week of use the outer layer came off on the corners on three of these mats.. different design underneath .. now almost all of them have had to be re-glued and look terrible... i did a double order due to the fact i needed six and they came in packets of four.. sorry i wasted my money will look for something to replace them..

2 stars for beauty but honestly I didn't like these and had to send them back. The placemats consist of cork board with a picture veneer glued on top of it. When I unpackaged the box, several of the pictures had already started to peel back from the corkboard. Even though they were so pretty, my husband took one look at them and said "those are cheap, send them back". And I agreed. Would not recommend.

CHEAP quality!!! After only two weeks, the images started flaking off. If you don't touch them, they are pretty. But if you plan to actually eat on them and wipe them down, don't even bother buying them. I guess you get what you pay for in this case.

The place mats are very nice looking but not high quality. They are thin and slide easily when using them. There were also some nicks in the cork when they arrived. Very disappointed! Will be buying a higher quality replacement.

Not what I expected. Thought the cork backs would be a bit more pliable vs. stiff; and, the backing doesn't prevent the placemats from sliding on the table. They are nice to look at; however, from my perspective, they're not that functional. Now have them in a drawer.

I'm returning these. They got 2 stars only for beauty, they look nice but are VERY flimsy and thin when you get them. If they were double the thickness i would have kept them. you can see through them that's how thin they are.

The mats are just too thin.

I returned these! As soon as I opened them, I read to only clean them with a DRY cloth - REALLY - a placemat. Also, one placemat looked as though the cork from the one on top had glued itself to it. Not a wise purchase.

While these look very nice they do not hold up very well. They have been on my table for about 2 months and are falling apart. These will be going in the trash.

I used these one time. They got wet, which you could expect on the table, and the pictures peeled right off the cork. I would not recommend buying these if you are going to put anything we on them. In my case that was water glasses which sweat onto the place mat.

I purchased these placemats as a gift in April. I thought they were so lovely until... I went to visit the person in July and saw they were all PEELING! I was mortified! Thumbs down on this product ! I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I didn't realize I could return these because I thought that was just a Christmas promotion.I threw the plastic a way they were packed in . These are poorly made .one has already come apart Also I knew they were cork but I thought they would be flexible ...You could put them in a frame and mount them as a picture ... I do regret buying them..

They are beautiful however they were not plastic and they don't stay in place.I wanted something that wouldn't slide all around...and I wanted to get rid of my cloth place mats because the kids get them dirty...but I had to put these on top of them so they will stay in place.

These are gorgeous however they're super thin and don't protect your table from messes. Any little thing you spill goes straight through the mat. I think these serve as decoration purposes only.

Not Waterproof. Liquids can seep thru theplacemat. I wanted these to protect my wood dining room table. Also, the surface is not smooth and small particles do not wipe off easily.They are attractive but not effective forwhat I needed them for.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this product. Upon arrival, I noticed that the edges weren't properly sealed; it was fraying by the next day.
