Side by Side Comparison of: Castrol

I have been using castrol for years, I begin with the regular but then I find out about the Extended Full Syntethic and I change for it. This run for about 9,000-10,000 miles (average) in normal use about 250miles per week, but if you want to 'extended' up to a 12,000 miles/one year, I will give you my perfect advice. Add at least once per month the 'Sea Foam Sf-16ozs Motor Treatment' and believe it your oil will keep up as new. Besides it will lubricate your engine, run better and you won't need to change every four, or six months. However, if you want to do it w/o the Sea Foam, I will recommend you to change every six months. Remember, you need an special Oil Filter for this oil, I have uses the Bosch D3334 Distance Plus High Performance. But the most important, every car is different my is a Dodge Neon 03, 4cly. 130,000miles.Another tip, I use the same foam once or twice a month for my gas treatment and since them it run 20-30 extra miles in my car. I decided to give Castrol Synthetic a try. It was OK. I felt my engine run a little smoother with Mobil-1 Synthetic.

Not much to say, I am using t for my mini cooper and so far the car seems quite happy!

shipping delayed and poor packing. the out-box is too big to hold the original box of the oil and the out-box is damaged and serious deformation. but fortunately the bottle is ok

Jug broke in shipping. A big mess. Castrol jug uses thinner gauge plastic than other motor oil brands and IMO this is why the jug broke.

after changing oil with Castrol Edge Extended gas consumption increased 20% compared to the same brand bought a year ago. Bad batch or drop in quality?

My change oil light came on after about 4000 miles with this I was shocked. I usually use the Pennzoil ultra the one made from natural gas and run for 7000 with no lights ever coming on so there you go

The container leaked? How am I the only one to have this happen?? Leaked all over my garage, Beverly got to open it. Totally disappointed for the mess and the wait and the waste
