Excellent lube for me engine.

I own a 15 yr old Pathfinder that gets this oil. I change my oil every 5000 miles no matter what. Using this product in conjunction with regular oil changes has made the engine humm along for 140,000 miles without issue. Other than regular maintenance stuff, the internals of my motor are strong and I believe it to be partly because of the oil.

I love his stuff, just make sure to check your oil level every few thousand miles (all cars burn a small amount of oil) and when you convert to extended performance you need to do a normal oil change interval the first time you use, then you can go to the 10k change. Combined with the mobile high mileage filters i think this stuff is nothing short of great. I switch over to the high mileage formula after 120k or so. For a daily driving modern car this stuff is great. For classic engines and modified for more power engines i'd look elsewhere.

This brand of oil is recommended for my 2003 Corvette and a good thing too, because Mobil 1 products are wonderful. I've purchased this brand locally and figured I've cut some of the price by purchasing it on Amazon.com. What a great decision! I will definitely buy this from Amazon again!

U absolutely cannot go wrong with Mobil 1 motor oils in any capacity esp high heat or extreme cold..turbo or supercharged and high revving apps. They are a leaded for a reason! There may be slightly better more costly full synthetic out there such as Royal Purple and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum etc both fine products no doubt but Mobil 1 Extended Performance us top notch in every way and they always tweaking /fine tuning their formulas. I trust my newer expensive vehicles to it and also use their highly rated oil filters along with royal purple oil filters and sometimes K&N as last resort in premium filter segment. Got this oil for my 4 stroke motorized bike & it lubes it up practically on the first start up with zero problems. My family has used this oil for 20 years & still stand by it to this day for every oil change. It's never let us down in any of our 4 stroke vehicles & equipment. Holds up well before an oil change & my little 4 stroke engine on my bike runs great with this oil. I'm swearing by this oil just as my family has for the past 20 years. Always go with the Mobil 1 oil with the gold cap. For small engines 5W30 is a good type.

I got an oil change nearly 1500 miles ago, my car loves to use oil (It's a Saturn, they have a nice history of doing so) and I haven't had to add ANY at all. Even on longer trips which just ate up oil, Valvoline placed my car on a diet. I will definitely use this one again.200,xxx miles

Great price and it's Valvoline! My local auto parts store has this same oil nearly double the price at 29.99. As long as Amazon has this at this price point (16.99) I'll continue to purchase it.

Works great with my 6MT Infiniti G35 coupe. No strange noises or engine vibrations after switching to Valvoline from Mobil 1

Have been using this oil for sometime now and have not had any issues. Will usually run this stuff 6k miles before changing. For the price point you can't go wrong. Will definitely be buying from here again!

I have my doubts about lasting till 15,000 but I'm going to push this oil till 12,000 if its a bullcrap marketing scam my car is toast. And the oil filter you are purpose to buy with this oil have me very nervous as well. Ok So i believe this products (oil and oil filter) to be top of the line but the 15,000 claim is worrying me to dead. Here is where I have my doubts the oil fighter is the same size as my other cheap oil filter so how can It hold more dirt? (oil filter is Mobil extended perfor oil filter) I was thinking the oil filter would be longer or of greater size but its not so where and how does it hold more dirt. I'm going to push this filter to 12,000 miles for my next oil change. If this oil filter can't make it well I guess my car is toast.

Like this product a lot and have been using this for years. Only give it 4 because I stopped using it when I found a similar yet better priced product.

I have been doing my own oil changes for years. I have an 2005 Chevy Malibu, with 220K miles on it and still going strong. I've bounced around different oils, generally just using whatever was the most cost effective at the time, with no real concern for brand. However recently I've noticed a serious difference between this and those other conventional oils that I was using. It started with a rough idle that was primarily caused by a ignition coil pack, however after repairing that I noticed the issue, although lessened drastically, was still there a bit, I decided that although I was not quite to the 4K mileage mark, I needed to do an oil change. Oil change done, and the rough idle has gone away. Coincidence? I don't believe so.Regardless, I am very impressed with this product so far. I also note as others have done, the price on amazon tends to fluctuate, it will go up to around $30 for awhile, then drop to around $18. With prime shipping that is a very good deal. When the price goes higher, I price shop around. Today I found it at Wal-mart locally for $17.74+tax. I bought two just in case. Like others on here, I would recommend putting this on your wish list and waiting for it to drop again, when it does stock up.

its a Great engine oil but the price were higher than the local auto shop

This oil is priced great at 17 bucks for 5qt but the pictures of the product were not what I received. The highest spec on the 5w30 oil is GF-5 it is NOT DEXOS spec. At least what I got in the mail was not. Unfortunately I have 2 late model GM vehicles which spec dexos and I would be concerned about warranty issues not using it. Gave the oil to my father in-law to use on his vehicles.

Good product but the cap wasn't sealed withelp anything and oil leaked it's way through the package.

No issues with the oil. However, found that it is cheaper buying it locally at the WMrt.

Felt misled by "synthetic" claims. If you do the homework I should have done before ordering, you'll learn that this stuff is only 30% synthetic, and (ergo) benefits to high mileage engine are illusory.

I'm not sure this is the regular Maxlife blend, this bottle has none of the certifications on it from the picture, which might be misleading.

Received and jugs were spilt all over the box and half full. I will not buy oil online again. Lesson learned.

so i buy mobil 1 oil that say that you can use it to 15.000 miles. is a lie you going to trust what they say. I have it on me car and is like 3.200 miles and is like dark. and I use mobil 1 oil filter so is a lie that the oil go to 15.000 miles is like the same oil that go to 3.000 miles. not all the product tell you the true is only to get money so mobil you suck stop lie to the people

I'm sure the oil and price is great. But one of the containers came broken and leaked everywhere. How to return it. Not sure since it has a hole.

There was a hole in the lid seal, and some oil leaked outside the box
