Easy setup, low maintenance, summer oasis
June 10, 2017
This pool has exceeded our expectations. I was a little bit skeptical from reviews about tears and leaks, missing parts, etc., but everything worked out perfectly (with some upgrades). Here's what we did:

12 ft metal frame pool $100
15 ft tarp (purchased from Tarps Direct) $20
Upgraded pump/saltwater system Krystal Clear 1500 GPH Sand Filter Pump & Saltwater System ($238)
Intex type b adapters ($20 required to upgrade pump)
Intex skimmer ($20 and works!)
Sand 50lbs ($10)
Pool salt 40 lbs ($10)

About leveling - we didn't level, we found a fairly flat looking spot and just built it. One side is a 3 inches higher than the other, and it's ok! So don't freak out about leveling unless you live on a major slope.

About the saltwater filter/combo - it's worth it. We run it two hours every night and the pool levels stay perfect, with 0 maintenance, no need to purchase or replace chlorine tabs. It's the equivalent to having an electric car, just plug it in, no more gas.

About the size- a few people said 4 adults comfortably, this thing can fit 8 adults, easily, and even more if you're all friends. Also my 34 inch tall little girl can stand in it, since it's not actually filled to the brim, which is awesome!

We live in ny, so also purchased the solar cover to warm things up, so far no complaints.

All in all, were super happy about this purchase and highly recommend this product. Dropped about $400-$500 all in (including some unicorn floats).
Best $100 i ever spent!

I love my Intex pool! We had our first one for 6 years, and then the metal poles finally rusted, so we bought a new one. I think you can buy new poles, so we'll do that next time, the liner was in perfect shape. My dogs jump in and out of this thing all day, and if it can withstand that, it can withstand anything! For $100, you can't get any better than this!
summer fun
May 27, 2016
This pool was easy enough to set up with just 2 people, set up time was around 3 hours for us 1st time pool owners. The pump and filter system are too small for this sized pool so we upgraded to an intex 3/4 hp sand filtration system, glad we did.

May 6, 2016
The reason for purchase:I purchased the Intex 15ft X 48in Metal Frame Pool Set to replace my Intex 12ft X 30in Easy Set Pool Set. If you have the space, I would highly recommend just getting away from the easy set pools in general. The inflatable ring always went flat and would change with the temperature not to mention I had to repair the holes in it constantly. Also would easily tip over and dump out at least half the contents if overfilled due to rain water if not completely level. The pool was fairly easy to setup once I had a nice flat base. I was able to accomplish this nearly by myself with no help. My wife assisted me with putting on the legs but i could have done it without her. I found it easier to only put one plastic pin in per t-fitting all the way around and then go back and put in the second pin after the circle was completed. One thing to note is that the instructions are terrible and that there is NO bottom rope as shown in all the pictures and documentation. That appears to be a feature that has gone away. Also the center belt has a loop for each leg that slides on the center belt instead of the legs going behind the center belt. Don't put the pool up on a windy day unless you are filling it that day because ours tried to run away with the wind. I was able to straighten the pool up and get rid of all the wrinkles but putting a few inches of water in the bottom and getting in and kind of scooting it outwith my feet. I was unsure of how sturdy it would be but after filling it, this is a solid pool. We have not yet used it as the water is still 45 degrees but i know it will far out perform the other Easy Set pools we have had.The pump that these pools all come with is sized for a smaller pool. Across the board. Just save yourself a headache and go for a sand filter right away. You will not be disappointed. Now I scoured these reviews for information regarding the size i bought since i had bought one way too big. I have a 15 foot pool and I bought the Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 3000 GPH Pump Flow Rate, 110-120V with GFCI to go with it. After the fact, i noticed it was oversized for this pool so I recommend not get this big one and going for the Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 2100 GPH Pump Flow Rate, 110-120V with GFCI instead. The pump i got works fine but you can tell that it is oversized for the job. I also purchased the Intex 120V Krystal Clear Saltwater System CG-28669 with E.C.O. (Electrocatalytic Oxidation) for Above Ground Pools to pair with the pump and for my pool size, I only need to run the saltwater for 3 hours and the pump for 4 hours once a day. Both are on on timers so I don't have to think about it. The sand filter required 100 lbs of sand to hit the minimum mark, 110-120 lbs would probably be the full mark. I put 80 lbs of salt in the water to start since the water was already treated when it arrived and have two more 40 lbs bags of salt on hand should i need it when the pump indicates it needs it. You will also need a couple adapters to make the 1.5 inch hoses work with the 1.25 inch fittings. I bought the Hose Conversion Adapters kit for Intex 1500gph and 2500gph pumps to adapt everything together.Total Costs:Intex 15ft X 48in Metal Frame Pool Set - $349.86Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 3000 GPH Pump Flow Rate, 110-120V with GFCI - $157.23Intex 120V Krystal Clear Saltwater System CG-28669 with E.C.O. I reworked the base my pool sat on this time to ensure a very flat and level surface. Previously i had tried to level it as best i could and I prepared a surface a foot bigger that the pool itself as was recommended which gives you a 6 inch buffer all the way around. The pool was placed in pretty much the same place as the previous pool but i took steps to ensure a solid base this year. To layout the size, i pounded a round metal spike about where i figured the center. I took a string and measured it for 8 feet and took 12 stakes and put them out like numbers on a clock in a circle all around at the end of the string. I checked the clearance around the circle and made the adjustments to the center point and reset the stakes. Next I removed all the vegetative material since the pool was larger than my previous pool. I took a flat shovel and did my best to visually flatten the whole area, checking occasionally with a 4 foot level to see how off i was. I tied string at 2 inches above the highest point and used a line level to level the string from stake to stake to make a circle, wrapping several times around each stake and pulling it very tight to make sure it was perfectly level. I then took the remaining 250 feet and went back in forth from stake to stake across to have multiple points for leveling purposes. I then brought in 2 tons (yes I said tons) of crushed stone dust to use as my base. My neighbor is a landscaper and had it delivered for $18/ton plus a $50 delivery charge. A total of $84. I had it dumped in my driveway and moved it to the pool area a wheel barrow load at a time. In hindsight, I should have had it dumped direct into the area or at least nearby as I was very very sore at the end of the day. I borrowed a plate compactor from my neighbor but could have rented from a local source for about $75 for the weekend. I tamped the area (right over top of the string) after several loads and used the string as a reference to what needed to be leveled still. I brought in additional loads until the string was level everywhere with the string. I lightly watered the area as I went and it was as hard as asphalt and didn't give. With this method, the pool was less than a half inch off all the way around and I can further level if i want by placing shims under the individual legs but I doubt that will be necessary. The water delivery driver praised me for my leveling efforts.
Best purchase ever!

I almost never write reviews but in this case, when I am so pleased with a product, I feel compelled. I have four children who love to swim. They are 1, 4, 7 and 10. They know how to swim (except the one year old) but I don't feel comfortable letting them in a pool that is over there heads without myself or wife in it. Problem is, they would be in the water all day, and I'm not always in the mood! This pool was the perfect compromise! At only 30" deep they can all stand up in it and at 12' round its big! They don't realize it's a kids pool. To them it's like a 54" above ground pool would be for an adult. They are in it all day every day and I don't have to be in there with them. here are some pros and cons and some recommendations.

Pros:
Assemble is sooo easy. Took me a half hour. As with any pool it should be on level ground. I didn't have a perfectly level spot in my yard so I set it up as level as possible and it's fine.(water is a little higher on one side, no biggy) I wasn't about to level the yard for a pool that I didn't know anything about. Next year I will!

Because of its size you can take it down and store it for the winter and not have to worry about winterizing

Perfect size for kids! They can send up and swim!

The frame is strong! We didn't get a ladder. The kids hop over the side. They can hand and sit on it. It's very strong!

Because of its size, it warms up pretty quick, about a day after filling to get to a good temp.

The liner is thick. Not sure what the mil size is but it feels heavy.

Cons:

The filter! I've seen bigger filters on fish tanks! It uses a cartridge that has to be cleaned often and it doesn't flow much.

No skimmer. The filter will clean the water(eventually) but will not remove debris from the top of the water.

Water quality can go downhill quick! This could be partially my fault for not monitoring the water as often as I should but after it rains, if it's in direct sunlight often or if you have a lot of people in it, the chlorine levels can drop and it can go green real fast.

My recommendations

Along with the pool you will need a skimming net, a vaccuum that works with a garden hose, water test kit, the solar cover, a chlorine floating dispenser, quick dissolving chlorine tabs, and I would highly recommend getting the sand master 71225 filter and the index skimmer. The filter is so powerful it creates a small whirlpool which causes any debris on the floor to collect in the middle of the poll which makes it easy to vacuum up. Plus it's rated for 9000 gallons and is super easy to clean. Just flip the valve to backwash and your done! You'll end up spending about another $200 with these upgrades but totally worth it! Keep the filter running, add a tab or two a day and you'll have crystal clear water all summer!

great product at the right price the quality is better than most solar covers and has a so cloth edging that helps secure naturally to the swim pool sides an amazing job love it thank you Amazon & Intex for making your product stand out and stand out loud and proud, my pool stays at 80° or higher looking forward to a longer guaranteed swim season as always
Works very well
July 12, 2017
We love this! Our pool was a bit chilly so we used this to try and warm it up and within one day it was bath water warm and then after the second, it was hot so we fluctuate the days of use. We are in Florida so I'm pretty sure that helps but if we don't cover it, it does get cool and my girls like it a bit warm.
Noticeable difference
July 3, 2017
So while it is basically a big layer of bubble wrap, it does work. The pool is noticeably warmer and I prefer this cover to the previous since it's easier to lay on. Getting it off is a pain, I'm short so I have my son get in to help me roll it up then I try to lift it over to the deck. But it was worth the money for us
Warm Water
June 9, 2017
This solar cover fit out 18ft Intex Pool well and does a good job of warming up the water. It also does a good job at keeping out debris from the pool, but as summer sets in we remove it since the water will become too hot for us. Best used in Spring and Fall to extend your season.
Really does what it says!
July 26, 2016
I'm happy with the way this heats up the pool - For Free! I was surprised at how warm it can get the water and I even keep it off of the pool half of the time so it's not like taking a bath. If you don't run the pump, only the top 8-12 inches gets real warm but if you run the pump the whole thing gets warm. The only problem with this type of heating cover is the size makes it difficult to install and also to store in a nice manner. I generally just pull it off of the pool on the least used side and pile it on the ground. When I have to put it back on, I need to walk around the pool a few times to get it spread out evenly. Now that I think of it, it would probably be fine if I had one or two more people to help. I guess I'll need to get some friends, doy.
Pool pads
November 18, 2014
I bought 3 of these covers to float in my 32' x 16" pool. They are easy for me to take out by myself and I don't struggle with them at all. The man who sold me my pool heater told me to look into the lily pads for pools... or make them myself. These work the same way. Perfect solution to covering over 1/2 my pool to help retain heat! I highly recommend!

Great for the price,
June 29, 2017
I have to say that I was skeptical about purchasing a pool for the price. At the end of the day it has been a great product. In the owners manual it says not to place it on grass, mud, dirt, or sand. I think it is a way for them to get out of warranty the item. Anyway, I set it up in about an hour by myself being careful not to drag it. It went up just as directed and was an easy set up. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is due to the GFCI plug. The pump has a GFCI built into the plug and has to be reset every time it looses power. With this, the pool states that it only has to be run about 8 hours a day, but you can not put a timer on it because it trips the GFCI every time the timer shuts off. Very Poor Design and should be improved.
Great for the price
June 13, 2017
So far so good

We received this pool about 6 days ago and set it up 3 days ago. It was a super easy setup, took about 1 hour. The kids love it, it is just the right size and pretty sturdy. I think for the price, this is awesome! Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it was only used once so far. My only con so far is the pump is not powerful enough for the amount of water the pool hold. I will invest in a new pump to keep this pool properly cleaned.
Upgrading the backyard splash tub!
July 24, 2016
I decided to upgrade the Backyard pool experience for my youngest granddaughter. She is 3 years old. She has two older siblings 10 and 9 years old. During the older siblings 3 to 5 years old time span, each summer, I would purchase a 60 Gallon throwaway pool for them to splash and play in the backyard. Once they turn 5, we transitioned to the municipal pool for swimming lessons and water fun.
So, I thought I would make a modest investment in a 2000 gallons pool for their collective summer time enjoyment.

After reading the reviews, I picked the Intex 12ft X 30 inch pool. I have a concrete patio at the foot of my deck. So I thought I would set up the pool on what I believed to be a level surface. I would give the pool 5 stars, it is a nice looking product. However, the pump that is included with the purchase is vastly underpowered for Normal to Heavy usage.
INSTALLATION
My son and his wife set up the pool in less than an hour using the enclosed instructions.
We filled the pool with a backyard hose and 3 hours later the girls jump in and had a great time.
However, the July 4th weekend was rainy and the temperature was unusually cold for that time of year. So we didn't have an opportunity to give the pool a good test until the following weekend. That is when I discovered the importance of a level installation site. The pool had settled and one side was under tremendous pressure. I had to drain 50% of the water and install leveling blocks or "shims" under three legs that were under pressure. Once level, the grandchildren and their guests gave the pool a vigorous workout.
PUMP
The pump is rated at approximately 550 gallon per hour. if you only have 3 little kids playing in the pool once or twice a week. Then the pump may suffice. However , after a weekend of full pool activity with 4 or more kids. The pool water started to get cloudy. Even after 7 hours of pump operation. I decided to upgrade the pump. I wanted a 2500 gal per hour model. However, that model is back ordered for 3 to 4 months. I opted for the 1500 gallons per hour pump.
PUMP INSTALLATION
The pump conversion was not as straightforward as we anticipated. We purchased an INTEX 1.25 to 1.5 inch hose converter for $30. However, we had to make a trip to the local hardware store and jury rigged the connection between the pool's outlet hoses and the new pump hose. Once completed, The new pump is vastly superior to the original pump. It filters the water in 3 hours and returns the water to a conditioned clean appearance.
TOTAL COSTS
MY modest investment has ballooned to
1. 100.00 for handyman to level pool
2. 70.00 for new pump
3. 35.00 for pool cover
4. 30.00 for pool ladder
5. 45.00 for maintenance kit
6. 20.00 for water testing kit
7. 30.00 for pool chemicals
8. 10.00 for mini chlorine floating jet holder
9. 30.00 for INTEX hose converter

So, for all those grandparents who thank they are making a modest investment in backyard splash and play. Please be advised, that you will be operating a miniature pool that requires weekly water testing, weekly cleanings, chemicals, and a daily dose of electricity. The following link is an excellent article on what you will be getting into:

great pool for great kids
July 13, 2016
I bought this pool mainly for my grandkids, the kiddie pool was to small for them and since my wife retired to watch the kids she has more options for them with the pool. I am a hero to them for it. I was a easy set up. I set up the pool myself with out any problems. After reading a lot of the reviews I decided to get the sand filter setup to make sure the pool would have a better chance of keeping clean. I also bout the solar cover to help keep the pool warmer and the pool cover to help keep the debris out. it also helps with control on algae. we monitor the chlorine daily and ph control. It is not a big size pool but for now with the size and age of the kids, its just right. as they get older the pool will get bigger. As for now, they love it.
Must have chemicals.
May 3, 2016
We've had this pool set up for a week now and we love it. The only thing I wanted to tell people really is, you really need to spend the extra money on the chemicals to keep it clean. Chlorine tablets, shock, a vacuum and is you live on a farm where they spray the fields then you have to get another chemical. The pump does not last long and will probably need replacing after a short month or two. Over all we love the pool. Just a little disappointed that the chemicals for the whole summer, basically cost the same as the pool itself.

Nice
September 21, 2017
Ordered this for our new Intex 15x48 Easy Set Pool - it kept the water about 80 degrees in Wisconsin for 2 months. Easy to trim with scissors. Comes in a nice plastic re usable bag for storage. Price is worth what we received, just a bit disappointed some of the bubbles started drying out and breaking open in less than 2 months. It still works, though. See how it makes it through next summer.
Worked real well but only lasted a year.
July 24, 2017
5 stars for heating the pool really well. BUT 3 stars because it only lasted one year (=4). I will still buy another though but it would be nice if they were more UV resistant. Be sure to turn the pump on for a little while before getting in during a hot day to circulate the water around. The water will be almost scalding at the top.
Great Solar Cover Fits great
June 20, 2017
Does exactly what it says. We have a 15' Above ground Octagon/Round pool. No problem whats so ever. easy on and off for 1 person. We have stairs going down into pool, not a ladder, we just cut 2 slits for the handles!
Works well
June 10, 2017
Had a solar cover for our pool growing up, so after buying a pool for the kids it was the first thing I looked for. It warms about a foot or so of the water depending on the air temperature, so far it's holding up well. 4 stars simply because it isn't high quality and it seems that possibly will only last one summer, but I would buy another one.

Works great fixed holders to take on and off the pool !! Laid it on the ground one day. And it burnt all my grass😩
It's not FOR a ten foot pool. It's TEN FEET.
April 23, 2017
I think I ordered too quickly! This cover isn't FOR a 10ft diameter easy-set pool. It would be for a 12-ft pool, since it is actually 10ft in diameter. I'm making it work for now; just odd phrasing in the product description.

Likely when I got it because I thought it seem like it was leaking midseason.
September 11, 2017
Despite putting down pads AND a tarp over top of my lawn before I placed the pool down, I noticed yesterday that it does have a tear in it. Could have been defective when I got it because I thought it seem like it was leaking mid-season. But in Michigan, it's hard to tell because we get a lot of rain.
I'm 42 and I don't abuse the product. I don't have kids, I am single, so it has only had light use. Very disappointed that company speaks as if it's a durable & thick fabric, but it's not. I had hoped the patch provided would stick and resolve the issue, but it hasn't. It continues to leak. If you're fine purchasing a new one every 3-5 months, it's the pool for you.
ok, single season pool?
June 29, 2017
Our second intex pool; last years pool the seam gave out. Overall not too bad, with minor upgrades. Same issues both pools: cover is a joke. Blows off in 3 mph wind, if you cinch tight the string will rip the cover, ditto if you try to hold down with weights or tube clamps. Poor engineering of cover. Update 8/10, pump stopped working after one month of light use. GFCI plug would not reset. Replaced with another from an old pump we had, runs fine again. This shouldn't happen after only one month of light use. I consider these a disposable pool that's cheaper and more convienent than going to a water park; would consider it luck if you get more than one seasons use of it. Pro's: very easy to set up, sturdy frame. Con's: cheap vinyl, terrible cover, pump.

pool set up as expected. I have had intex pools before. Pumps are always inferior. Pump stopped working after 1 minute and was unable to reset the GFCI breaker. However I had already purchased a small pool pump and sand filter online for $99 and used it instead. Also the hose clamps are plastic and not able to tighten them sufficiently to prevent leaks on pressure side of pump. Real metal hose clamps worked just fine. On a positive note this pool is the perfect size for preschoolers as they can easily stand up and also swim under water. My three year old is able to crawl over the edge so make sure they are supervised and pool is fenced. Recent local drowning has me very cautious.

One hit wonder
October 6, 2017
Worked awesome....for one summer....Not sure if that is supposed to happen but we kept it on the pool all summer when we weren't in it. Worked awesome to heat up the pool. Word of advice, it works better if you don't run the filter when the cover is on.By the end of the summer, blue plastic pieces were flaking off and the cover became brittle. When I took it out for the last time of the summer, it started literally ripping in my hands and making huge holes. Had to throw it away. We will still probably by a new one next year, worth the price, if even only good for the summer.

September 5, 2017
Turns out that using this product tends to let the pool grow algae even with using chlorine. I'm guessing that the chlorine can't do it's job when the sun rays aren't getting directly through. I quit using it after the first week for this reason. I had also read that unless you rinse it off on both sides every time you take it off, it will disintegrate from the chemicals being left on it, so I was making sure to rinse it every time with was a little time consuming. It's been stored all summer in a plastic container and seems to have held up, I just haven't used it anymore.
Too big, not consistent
August 30, 2017
Works ok, definitely not for a 12' pool, it's about a 1' too big on all sides which makes it a pain to put back on. If you don't mind trimming it or tucking it in like we do, it's fine. We can't leave it over the edges since ours is inflated, but I suppose for a hard pool it wouldn't matter. Also doesn't heat evenly or retain the heat which has never been an issue with other covers in the past.
More of a blanket than a cover.
July 28, 2017
Product arrived in perfect condition. Description is a bit deceiving imo. This is called a "blanket" on the bag that it arrived in. I misunderstood I guess I thought it was a cover to go over the railing of the pool, not just the water. Other wise works as described, just wish it covered the entire pool, and railings

July 15, 2017
I guess I was expecting more that a round piece of blue bubble wrap...it's ok for the Intex 12' x 30" metal frame pool. It fits inside the frame, just lays on top of the water. The pool is noticeably warmer when we have the cover on, but it doesn't stop stuff from getting in the water around edges and the small air holes throughout it.
Cover too large
June 10, 2017
The cover seems to be way too large for an INTEX 18'x48" Easy Set pool. When the cover is on the water surface there are several large folds an wrinkles and wind moves the cover easily to on side. it is not possible to spread it out flat. The cover does help to heat up the water.

It was easy to put up and I'm in it everyday to help with back pain, but it came with a rip (which I fixed with flextape) it's still leaking and I keep finding little holes and rips, I don't want to send it back cause I paid $97 and I don't think I can put this thing back in it's box to ship it back.

This had a small rip in the lining. I was told I had to pack it all back up and send back after everything was already put together. Needless to say, I was not happy about that when all I wanted was a new liner. I repaired with gorilla tape and pray it holds! Otherwise, what a waste of hate earned money.
scrabbling to find the patch kit I was hoping that would be the worst of it
August 5, 2016
I finally had put the pool up after leveling the ground .I didn't understand why there were three holes when the filter only required two When we filled up the pool the filter hoses were all hooked up hoses were cut to short didn't allow enough room to put on the clamps so I pushed the hoses a far as they would go then put on the very cheap claps which I have since replaced .I was walking around the pool just checking. I see a pin hole right in between the inlet and out let filter, scrabbling to find the patch kit I was hoping that would be the worst of it ,I really didn't understand how the filtration system would be able to keep a 4400 gallon pool clean well I was right it didn't work at all I've shocked the water a few times hoping that would get it going come to find out I was right the filter did not work at all .I had to buy another filter system. Oh try to call the company nobody speaks English
Great but easier said than done taking down the pool ...
June 10, 2016
I just ordered my 3rd Intex pool replacement at no charge from Amazon...thanks Amazon. The first 12'x30" steel above ground pool I put up somewhat hastily. That said I did follow the instructions and additionally laid a Harbor freight liner down first. The pool leaked about 1" per day. Plus there was a puddle of water around the pool....in my book that's a leak! I called Amazon to complain but they said no problem they would send out another BUT I would have to box up the 1st one and send it back...free of charge. Great but easier said than done taking down the pool and making it fit in the original box...nightmare. The second pool arrived and you guessed it...leaked! This time I only filled the pool up 1/4 of the way and looked and looked for the leak. Found it and patched it carefully. No leak plus dry around the pool. I filled it up the rest of the way and woke up the next morning and went out with my cup of coffee and low and behold a huge puddle around the pool! After I threw down my coffee and shut offSponge Bob on the TV I called Amazon. This time they said they give me the money back after I boxed it up and sent it back of course. I said I would like to try one more pool for surely 3 of the exact pools won't leak. Well, another pool is on the way....keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for my. Plus I am on my mat bowing deeply to Mecca in the East. I'll post my results with the third pool!
Family of 5 disappointed with 12'x30" pool
May 22, 2016
Easy set up, good quality, perfect for young kids learning to swim or adults who just want to cool off. Fits 5 people comfortably.Update its been a little more than 30 days since purchase and now our fliter pump no longer works. Very disappointed it didn't even make it through the summer.

Won't Last The Summer
September 23, 2017
Easy to put on, won't last even the Summer. The chlorine from the pool began to disintegrate ours within weeks. If you want to heat your pool, this is the right product. If you want a cover, forget this one.
Bubble Wrap
July 25, 2017
Very disappointed. Thought I was ordering a pool cover but what I got was a blue piece of bubble wrap that just lays on the water. Does very little to keep things out of the pool since it just floats on the water with no connection to the edges of the pool.
It actually does warm up the water some but what good is that if it's falling apart
July 17, 2017
One month after buying this cover, it has holes in it. I believe it's disintegrating, which would be understandable if we'd had it for a year, but it's only been one month. It actually does warm up the water some but what good is that if it's falling apart.
Not what I was hoping for
June 29, 2017
Unfortunately I found out after buying, but this material is literally just bubble wrap packaged up in a nice carrying case. I don't doubt that it works as a solar cover for your pool, but I am confident that it will not last with chlorine and sun beating it up every day. Also, taking it off and putting it somewhere that it does not easily get destroyed was a big concern. Unfortunately this product was just not what I was looking for.
Disappointed about the size
April 23, 2017
I expected this product to actually cover the entire top of the 16ft diameter pool I have. It seems to be almost 2 inches short. Quite disappointed since this prevents the product from keep debris out of the pool and there the couple extra inches would've helped keep the temperature up on the pool. Not sure if they thing truly even works but again, more disappointed about the 16ft cover not being quite 16ft.
Just get a full cover
April 5, 2017
Thought it was going to go to the edges and at least keep some of the debris out and keep water warm. Nope, water got filthy. Stuff blew to the edges and then into the water around the gap. Have to return and get full cover.

DO NOT BUY!!
September 28, 2017
The pool itself is fine. However, their pumps are terrible and keep breaking. The first broke in less than 1 year. It's obviously a known problem since the lady told me what was wrong before I said anything. She replaced the pump with no problem. The 2nd one lasted 3 weeks and customer service won't replace it. They say that replacements aren't warrantied so if they have the same problem, you have to buy a new one. The agent I spoke to has no ID number or last name, no supervisor, and no way to transfer to one.2nd problem - I bought the pool and corresponding cleaning kit along with an Intex hose. There is no way to connect any of the cleaning items to the "sucker", or intake. The only way to hook the hose up to the sucker is to buy 1 non-Intex product from eBay and another from Ace hardware. My dad had to print an adapter piece on a 3D printer in order to attach the hose.Intex sells a lot of items and I own a bunch of them. Their pumps have a known problem and they refuse to stand buy their products.

May 29, 2017
Took me about an hour and a half to set up my new Intex 15' X 48" pool....as soon as there was 1 inch of water in it water came running out from underneath in various places around the bottom of the pool. Am contacting Intex to see what can be done as the return window is now closed on this purchase.
Leak at the seam.
May 28, 2017
Got it all set up, assembled ladder, filter, everything. Put 2 inches of water in and the next morning there was a leak at the seam. Now I have to disassemble everything, put it all back in the box (which looks impossible) and return everything. Glad I didn't fill it up. Such a waste of time.

May 18, 2017
The pool popped a stitch the first time I set it up. I was luckily able to patch it. I noticed the pool cover had a tear the first time I tried to put it on and even with two people, it was impossible to stretch across the pool without the other side falling in. The ladder is rickety and cheap and does not feel safe. I tried to contact Amazon to exchange the fitted cover for the solar cover, but got no response.

September 18, 2016
So unbelievably frustrated. We spent a few hundred dollars on materials to level the ground, and the chemicals for the water. However, the seam on the pool cracked with in the month. Customer service promised a new product and never sent us one. We followed every step with customer service include cutting a part the lining and send back specific pieces and were never sent a replacement.
2 holes
June 30, 2016
the pool had 2 holes in it, I bought some patching material and closed it off, it works for now, but I'd like to get a partial refund, since taking it apart, draining it and returning is going to take way too much time. Please help me with a partial refund. Thank you.

Makes it very easy to rip
September 18, 2017
Very thin. Not what I am used to buying at the pool store. The holes water to drain was just a hole punch in with a hole punch. I thought they had grommets. Makes it very easy to rip. I am sending these back and will look for some others. Not a good purchase.
Began disintegrating after one season
September 3, 2017
Not happy. I wish I could give this ZERO stars. The cover did what it was supposed to last season--helped warm the pool and eliminate debris. It looked fine when put back on the pool for this season. Quickly, the inflated bubbles began disintegrating--loading the pool with little pieces of blue confetti. What a mess. I see a number of other reviews relating the same problem.Replaced with something heavier in a 16 mil thickness Sun2Solar Blue 12-Foot Round Solar Heating Swimming Pool Cover Blanket 16 MilIf your goal is just one season, this is for you. If not, spend the extra dollars and get something a bit more substantial.
Poor quality
August 16, 2017
I liked it at first because it did warm up the pool. But after less than 2 months it started to become very fragile, tears developed, and worst of all all the bubbles starting peeking at the back and now I have thousands of plastic boots in my pool
Typically don't review products but had to share my experience ...
August 16, 2017
Typically don't review products but had to share my experience. Don't buy this product, at least for in-ground pool use. Used two 12-foot covers for my in ground pool in an attempt for a cheap solar ring option. Barely heated the pool, very much less effective than a full-length solar cover. Very cheap material, lasted less than 2 months before completely falling apart and leaving hundreds of blue bubble remains in my pool. Hopefully my filter doesn't get damaged as a result! Tossed in trash and will go back to a full solar cover that lasts a couple years even in extreme AZ summer conditions.
Works great for about a year
July 23, 2017
Works great for about a year, then is disintegrates. Tears, the bubbles are all falling apart. Basically the plastic sun rotted. And that is in MN where it is only used for 4 months a year. Bought in May 2016 and it is pretty much dead July 2017. For the price, it should last a couple years.Edit: Added a picture. If that looks like fun to clean up, we have different definitions of fun.
