It worked as advertised, by going right through the sheath. It arrived late but I suspect that the post office lost the package for awhile.

very satisfied and love it thank you
Awesome
December 1, 2015
sword is just as pictured and perfectly balanced, while the throwing knives are just as pictured they are way off balanced and take extreme awkward compensation to throw at great lengths
Excellent product
October 29, 2015
Fantastic! Got it a day early, and everything is fine. The sword is a little dull, but nothing an hour with a whetstone won't fix. The kunai are razor sharp, with perfect balance and killer accuracy. All in all, perfectly satisfied. Thanks amazon!
Great backpack machete
August 17, 2015
I'm impressed! Despite its weight it has impressive strength, I took it outside and hacked away at a log on a chopping block as a stress test and it held up. The blade is very flexible and removes most of the vibrations of a heavy impact before they reach the handle.

Good for a fun gift
June 17, 2017
Higher quality than I expected, also very sharp for something pretty affordable. Great little knife.
Really great for the price and cuts well
December 26, 2015
I agree with most of the reviews about This knife. It is decorative, feels durable like a good quality knife and cuts things quite well. My husband opened this first on Christmas morning and we used it to open the rest of our packages that morning with ease. He really liked it.I can't believe the price, like the other reviews said. Even with the sheath being a hard plastic, it looks really nice
Great Deal!
October 28, 2015
This Dagger is definitely a steal! I was reading all the reviews about the plastic, and was hesitant on what I was going to end up with, however, the plastic is very high-end and extremely durable plastic in my opinion. The blade sits very well and sturdy on the handle, and the handle is very grip-friendly (in other words, handling the dagger felt comfortable). The overall design is nice, and really makes it a special piece of equipment. If you're going to be using this as a prop, I would caution you to be careful, because it can definitely do some damage if mishandled. This product was definitely better than what was expected.
Heckuva find!
December 18, 2014
I certainly wasnt shopping for a knife but when I came across this, I had to have it. I have to say I am so impressed with the detail. The price was dirt cheap so I wasnt sure what to expect but the positive reviews sold me. It comes in a nice gift/display box which really shows it off well. The hilt is weighty with good balance. The blade is nicer than I expected and comes pretty sharp out of the box. The sheath is really nice as well and even though its made of a heavy plastic like the handle, it's not so obvious that it takes away from the beauty of the item. As others mentioned, the chain is an issue and Im not sure if Im going to leave it on or remove it. Maybe replace it with something a bit sturdier. Either way, still a very worthwhile purchase.
It's Great
January 25, 2014
Came in early. Here's what the dagger is like. First off you really can cut somebody with it so be careful second it has some good weight on it. The only things I don't like is the fact that it says made in China on the blade to me that kind of ruins it but I'm sure I could remove that.Another thing I don't like about it is the chain mail that hangs off the blade... It's plastic but I could easily remove it. Overall the blade is Amazing I mean the sheath is made of plastic but it's a pretty hard kind.
Well-made Fantasy Knife For The Price
July 18, 2012
For an under 10 dollar knife, these "assassin daggers" are 5-star. I bought 2 of them to go along with a renaissance-type costume, and they are perfect for it. But even though these are fantasy knives (ie, display knives), they still have a very real, factory-sharpened stainless steel blade. They are not razor sharp, but they are certainly sharp enough to cause real damage. Of course you can always hone the edges further, yourself, but you shouldn't need to because the real design of this type of dagger was for stabbing & thrusting. The point needed to be sharp, but it wasn't necessary for the edges to be razor sharp since they were meant to simply cause a hole that would cause profuse bleeding, rather than a slice or a cut.The sheath is ABS black plastic (which is pretty rugged) with a starburst design, and ornate cast metal on both ends. It gives the little knife some weight. The dagger's V-shaped hand guard matches right up against the sheath top, which has a little chain attached, I guess to hook it onto your belt or something. But the chain is weak, I wouldn't really trust them for actual wear, so I replaced them with black cord in order to tie them to my belt securely. If you're just using the knife for display, the chain is better, visually. The blade stays snugly in the sheath because there's foam inside, which also prevents scratching the blade or having it rattling around. With cheaper fantasy knives, it seems that something is usually loose & rattling, but happily that is not the case with these. The blade is brushed stainless steel with a blood groove down the center on one side. The handles are made with the same ABS black plastic, with cast metal rings around it. On the pommel of the handle there is a punch-spike (to which I have customized further by attaching a tassel :). I couldn't tell you how far the blade tang goes into the handle but they seem awfully sturdy. If you attempt to use this dagger as a throwing knife, it will absolutely ruin it (they're not even designed or balanced for throwing) but aside from that even though they're display knives, they have the potential to be quite functional. Fortunately both sides of the dagger & sheath are the same, which is nice because sometimes with fantasy knives, only one side has all the designs on it.Well that about covers it! For the price, 5 stars, you can't go wrong. They're cheap, made with lower-end materials, but they're not cheaply made...and I've seen my share of crappy fantasy knives. They are great on display & great for cosplay, and I imagine they would also be great for self-defense if ever the situation arises & you happen to have one of these strapped to your leg or something. They are sturdy enough that as long as you don't abuse them, they should hold together for quite some time.

The sword and throwing knifes are really nice. I just wish the sheath wasn't so soft. It's easy to stab through by accident.
I like it!
September 21, 2015
Great quality, so far I like how everything came out. Only gripe is the strap is a tad short, I can't get it around my waist or across my chest but i did kind of expect that, feels really sharp makes a sweet sound when I swing it, overall a very nice product.
Good & Sharp
December 31, 2014
Good value for the price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the adjustable strap is only long enough to carry over one shoulder, instead of across the chestand shoulder, which is an asset when treking thru bush.
not bad
August 7, 2014
It's a nice blade for sure, but the handle wasn't wrapped very well, and not in the way as it's displayed in the photo. The sheath isn't the same as displayed either, but it's a decent sheath other than the point of the sword can poke through the end if you're not careful. If you know how to improvise and customize your weapon then i see no reason not to try this sword.

Decent knife
September 1, 2017
Overall, it's a decent knife. The blade is sharp. While the body feels a little cheap, and it has a chain on the sheath that looks out-of-place, it makes a decent, realistic prop. I expected it to be a bit smaller, but that's my fault for not looking at the dimensions and reviewer photos.
Dagger is great! Good sharp edge
April 11, 2017
Dagger is great! Good sharp edge. Kinda light. slides in and out of sheath smoothly, MAYBE, a touch loose. sheath is a cheap plastic, as are other parts. Not to worried about that though.
Cheap, but with nice features
November 15, 2015
You get what you pay for. It's rather cheaply made, and it doesn't seem too durable (I'd not take it as a camping knife or something). When I got it, the metal on the tip of the sheath wasn't even glued on, and it fell right off. A little bit of super glue later and it works perfectly, though! On that note, something that definitely impressed me; all the parts that look metal ARE metal. That's rare in these specialty knives, even at a higher price point. However, all the metal looking stuff is actually metal. The black is definitely not leather though, it's a very cheap feeling plastic, which isn't very nice to the touch. Another very nice thing is how the sheath works; it's just a friction lock, meaning the only thing holding the knife into the sheath is friction, there's no buckle or hook or anything. However, it works exceptionally well! Way better than you'd expect. I held the knife by the sheath, turned it upside down and shook it as hard as I could, trying to get the knife to fall out, and it never budged. I was astounded. All in all, it's good for the price. It's a cheap knife with some cool features and a nice looking design
Great blade for $3.00
February 9, 2015
Just received my blade in the mail today, it looks simply amazing. The the 2 reasons I'm giving it 4 stars for is because as soon as I got it out of the box, I began to inspect the blade itself. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was symmetrical but not how a real blade should be, on one side there is a groove on the blade when it should be on both sides and the contour line running down the middle of every blade to show its center actually moves off to the side towards the top of th blade instead of going straight to the tip. The second problem I had with it is the chain, it's a crappy chain and they didn't secure it we'll enough and sometimes gets in the way of me sheathing the blade. Overall great blade for $3.00. I would recommend getting it.
Cheap knife, easy to sharpen, well worth the $8 it cost. It is now a lethal letter opener that is capable of defense.
December 16, 2014
First, this is a CHEAP knife, and the sheath is not for carrying use. BUT, for $8, it feels like a good knife. I don't normally like cheap stuff, but this is worth the price, if you just like to have extra blades laying around. The handle is almost as long as my hand is wide, so I wish it were about an inch longer. The two blade edges were almost sharp, but now they are VERY sharp, so it's no longer a toy. The cheap little chain on the side is definitely decoration, and if I convert this into a usable item, I will remove the chain. Not made to be worn. Could be carried inside a pocket or something if necessary. Actually, it makes a rather deadly letter opener when sharpened. I'm not knocking it. It's an $8 knife, folks. But it's well worth the $8.
Well worth the money, but beware the UPS...
August 28, 2014
I received this dagger, and was amazed at how beautifully crafted it is. For only 9 dollars, it has unequaled quality. With full tang, the blade is extremely sturdy, the handle is tight, and the blade is wickedly sharp. The chain, contrary to popular opinion, is fairly strong. Definitely able to hold it to the belt. The plastic on the hilt and sheath is made from polypropyline acetalyine, so it is durable. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it took 10 business days to get here, even when UPS said 5-8. It went from Whitehouse, IN, to Hodgkins, IL, to Little Rock, AR, to Earth City, MO, back to Hodgkins, IL, thereby using up 3 days of shipping going in circles. Also, a package that was sent with it was damaged beyond repair during shipping, and was unable to be delivered. The dagger is well worth the money, but beware the UPS...

November 26, 2015
The metal has multiple scratches, same with the plastic on the hilt, and the cross guard is loose. This item came with another dagger that I ordered at the same time from the same vendor, between the two blades while this one is longer, its lighter and over all, feels cheaper. While in reality this dagger is a few dollars cheaper, the difference between the two is a little extreme. The item over all is okay, and came on time, so.
Nice costume pieces
October 23, 2015
cheap knife is cheap, but bought it for costuming so it doesn't matter. It is loose in the plastic housing. The blade would likely, though I admit I have not tested my theory, break under any real use.I would say NEVER throw it unless you intent to make parts of it.Also, the blade is NOT sharp. Sure it can cut paper with a draw... well, maybe ...If you think it is, you need to learn how to sharpen knives. It is that simple.
Ok.
December 2, 2013
I like it. But be careful though....the bottom metal piece may fall off. Mine did =[.... but still love the dagger.

January 3, 2016
First off it is s*** right out of the box and it had groves from a cutting wheel so I had to sand it down and its not the polished finish look I was looking at ether so I have to say it's a good knife as a prop nothing else also lovely hack job on the handle ( if you look at the photos you will see what I mean) also the knife isn't a fixed blade and handle ether
Waste of metal
August 1, 2015
Blade came about a year ago, just finally Carex enough to give it a thorough examination. THe bevel is off center to the right, and the cross guard tilted to the left, the opposite directions increasing the gap between them, with the handle pointing dead in the center. Horrible form.
You get what you pay for.
January 28, 2013
So I bought this knife just because I had a few bucks left on my account and I didn't know what else to get.The sheath is pretty cheap. I mean, it hasn't broken yet, but it you can just feel that the quality is low. All the black parts of it are plastic and the silver parts and metal and screwed together. The chain on the sheath is pretty light and cheap as well. I pulled it apart on accident. The knife its self is pretty solid. I was kind of surprise mainly because I had low expectations for it. It wasn't really sharp at all but it has a pretty good point on it. The black parts of the handle are plastic and the silver parts are metal. All in all, I would say just save your money and buy a higher quality knife.

This piece of metal is garbage. I say metal because it isnt a sword, its a sharp piece of metal. You will hurt yourself if you hit something hard because the handle is covered with a pathetic piece of wood and string to conceal a weld spot in the middle of the handle. This has a high chance of breaking in your hands, bouncing back (because this blade is soft) and cutting yourself. This is not a full tang blade and anything that looks like this do not buy it.
Cool to look at, but not much else.
March 1, 2016
Cool to look at, but not for much else. The blade probably couldn't even cut butter. However, the tip is very sharp. I wouldn't recommend hitting anything with it for the fear it may break in half. Because the drilled so many wholes in the thing that it weakened the steel. Worth $20. Nothing more.
