The piping tips came in a cute little container which had some sort of Chinese symol on it so I had my suspicions. But it actually turned out that they were made of what looked like stainless steel. They looked pretty durable and there's a lot of different designs on the tips. I'm a beginner cupcake and pastry decorator, so if you're like me, I'd say this is a steal for 5 bucks! Even if you are an experienced decorator, I'd say this product is the way to go. Although, I did put on a label that said "piping tips" because the transparent box is a bit plain. I bought it to make a graduation cake for my sister, but the smoothers I received did not match the pattern in the picture, specifically the triangle one. Wile the one in the picture shows different size spikes, mine is nothing like that. The rest of the product was fine, but the reason I ordered it was for that design.
