Good pipping tubes. I am using "804" for the macrons. They all come out in the right size. I think it should add more description on the product's posting that no need to use anything, just insert any tube in the bag and can start to pipe. I didn't know and waste money to get couplers.

Bigger than wiltons "large" and "extra large". Sturdy and well made.

These tips are of beautiful quality! I am a newbie to using a pastry bag and tips but I needed the pastry bag for making macarons. I love cooking so it was just a matter of time before purchasing a pastry bag. Ateco seems to have the best reviews, and most used by commercial and/or serious home bakers. I am very satisfied with my purchase of these nice stainless steel tips. I only had one issue and that was with Amazon recommending standard couplers being purchased with these. As a result I purchased a set of 4 couplers for which I currently have no use. Being a newbie to using a pastry bag, I had no idea about different size tips vs. couplers. These tips didn't have "large" in the description, so unfortunately it didn't even occur to me. While I typically read reviews, this time I just saw the stars indicating high ratings for these tips and just bought them along with the suggested couplers. The tips themselves should not lose stars due to Amazon's incomplete description. I'll inevitably require another pastry bag with standard tips so I will have another use for those other couplers sometime in the future. But it did require me to additionally purchase the large couplers and pay extra for quicker shipping because I had a time constraint.

For some reason, i thought the listing was for 4 tips... so I was pleasantly surprised when i opened the box and saw 6! I didn't bother ordering the couplers, i'd rather just cut a hole in a pastry bag. I knew from the reviews that they were big, but i was still shocked at just HOW big they are. The extra-large ones are about the same size at the base as a votive candle, and the large ones are about the size of those gold sacagawea dollars. Pretty big, but just what i was looking for to do one of those gorgeous ombre rosette cakes and some cupcakes frosted like they do in the cupcake shops, with a large swirl of frosting and a cute little topper. All in all i'm very pleased, i just hope my little wilton tips don't feel intimidated sharing drawer space with these monsters!

These are the Large and X-Large tips (3 and 3). The picture is very deceiving! If you want marching couplers, DO NOT BUY the suggested Frequently Bought Together Ateco 4-Piece Set of Standard Couplers because they WILL NOT FIT any of these tips! Instead you should buy the Ateco Large Plastic Coupler 404 which will fit the Large ones. As other reviewers have mentioned, the X-Large tips DO NOT need any couplers. Quality wise, the tips are great and large enough for making meringues or macaroons. Excellent quality. Thanks for reading.

I was looking for tips/tubes (Ateco calls them tubes and Wilton calls them tips -- confusing. I'm calling them *tips*). Specifically, i wanted large tips that are a size similar to Wilson 1M (what i call a large star tip and is readily availabe at big-box craft stores). Makes me crazy that listings for these things don't include the # and that there is no standard description for size. I created my own standard nomenclature for tip sizes: regular, large and extra large. I considered ordering a similar tip set from Bake It Pretty but the $8 shipping seemed rediculous. This 6pc set seemed like it could be right-on to suit my needs as a over-achieving-@home-cupcake-baker. The tips are indeed larger then regular tips (such as Wilton 12). Three are large and fit on a large plastic coupler. And three are extra large so they won't fit on a large coupler. The three large are Ateco tips #804 (round/plain), #864 (star) and #846 (closed star). The three extra large are Ateco tips #827 (French star), #808 (round/plain) and #898 (basket weave). I call the plain ones round because, well, the opening is round-- makes sense right? These numbers are clearly marked on the Ateco box so why can't the listing include them? It would save a lot of time and frustration to just list the sizes, numbers and descriptions for each tip and cut the confusion. The information was not available on Ateco's website either. So here it is and I hope it saves someone else some time and frustration. Amazon has frustration proof packaging so why not frustration proof product descriptions for tips?

I'm a cake decorator and got some pieces in this I have never seen before and thought it was cool made some really cool designs.i do wish that they would come with a book or something with a tutorial on some of the tips and what they are supposed to look like. Definetly love the case it comes in keeps they neat and organized and they don't get all bent out of shape like some of the other cases.

these aren't the best products, but they are def worth the money spent on them. they have just about every piece you need on basic things for a cake and not cheap made. i like the fact they come in their own little case so i don't lose any of them. it is hard for me to keep up with small pieces, even if they are placed in a zip lock bag, i have still been known to lose things. i do recommend these. they come with a piece of plastic wrapped around them so they are brand new, never used, and unless you just like me would like to have an extra adapter to connect the tips to the bags then i wouldn't buy extra because it comes with a pretty sturdy on already.

I read someone's review that these are fake and they are same. But no.You will get lots of round tips but they are all different sizes to do different type of out lines. I love them. I can't wait to decorate cake.Price is really good. Thank you!

Amazing product although it is not the real tips (doesn't have numbers or letters to tell which is which) BUT it works just like the real ones cleans easy and the storage box is good so you don't loose them. Came within a week earlier than what they said, package was well wrapped not broken or missing pieces.If you know what your standard tips do this is perfect, if you're a beginner like me it is also perfect just takes a little practice and you'll know what each does.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I love using these tips for whenever I bake and want to decorate cupcakes or cakes. The tips work amazingly and nothing was missing or destroyed while being shipped.

These tips were A LOT bigger than I had thought they were, but I suppose that's my own fault. Very good anyway, will use them.

They were what I expected at a great price, I selected free shipping, it took a bit longer than I expected or 5 stars for sure.I cant wait to try them out on my rose cake.

These are okay, but I prefer the wilton large tips more. These are too large to use with a coupler.

The extra large tips are much larger than I'd expected, so be sure to measure them before you purchase. I'd bought them to decorate culcakes and the two extra large tips are too big for that. They also do not fit the large joiner, so I will need to cut my bag in order to use these extra large tips. Considering I laid around $9 for 6 tips, I really can only use three of them, which wasnt a great purchase for my cupcake needs.

Not tube and tip set!This is just the tips and don't purchase the Standard Couplers that are shown on the page. They will not fit this tip! I spent most of the moring that I received these looking for the correct coupler. Well Ateco does not make a coupler that goes with these. I looked on the sit that sells these and they only show the standard coupler that is on Amazon. And that site is a jumbled mess. Anyway! I downloaded the catalog from Ateco and they have no coupler for this set of tips. Maybe one from another company will work with these, but I pipe only one size at a time, so don't really need to change tips. I use disposable bags with theses and they work fine.

These were shipped right on time and I was so excited! They were nice and big for decorating cakes and whole cupcakes, not decorations. But when I went to Michaels to buy some extra large couplers for my new tips, only 3 of the tips will fit on the coupler. The other 3 are too big and I haven't been able to find a coupler big enough for them. But it's still a good deal and I'm excited to use them!(:

I was planning on buying a Wilton Master set until I saw some decently rated off brand. This has a lot of tips but I only need 2 but will plan on using the others in the future.

Awesome product and great value for the price. I love the variety of the nozzles. I have already used some of them and they get the job done. Look and feel like they cost so much more. The only complaint I have is about the case that holds everything. It is very cheap and it doesn't close nicely at all. I had everything fall out 3 times already so its just a big mess. I had to put tape on both sides to keep it from opening and spilling everywhere and its just very inconvenient to keep having to open and close the tape all the time.

Shipping was on time and product is great. A little smaller than expected but works just fine. Couldn't wait to use it, I made some cupcakes with flowers and petals and they looked beautiful.

Definitely a must!! although, the container isn't very sturdy, and actually quite flimsy...the corner of mine was broken when i got it, but the tips are amazing, i had wished the 'Large' tips consisted of the straight rose tips, but there was only 2 swirly rose tips.. and one circle-ly one... lol but over-all! IT'S GREAT!

I like that it's a complete set at a great price but the case is not a good quality. It's cracked and can't close properly so I had to purchase another case which is an additional expense.

When I purchased the decorating set, I was informed that I wouldn't get said product til like a month later, However that wasn't the case. I came a week and half later since the order date! Awesome and just in time for the Holidays! Even though I have not used the set yet, I can tell the product is GREAT! (Once I do use it, it will definitely be 5*). Also there was just one piece I was hoping it would have but Who-Cares if it doesn't. Thank you!

Really big. Not meant for standard couplets.

Much larger than the apparent average. I had purchased the standard couplers Amazon suggested they should go with, but they don't fit with them at all. I didn't see the larger dimensions mentioned in the product description, and it would be great to know what kind of couplers they fit with, if they fit any at all. For use without couplers, they're fine, though you may have to cut the bag to make the tip go through the end (I did), again, because of the larger size.

they are a nice set, but are much smaller than i had anticipated. very odd mix match set of sizes and shapes. the should have more pics to show the difference.

These were bigger tips than I really expected. I'm not a cake decorator myself so if it said the sizes of the tips, apparently I didn't notice they would be larger tips. This was a gift to my partner who likes to do some basic cake decoration at home and these seem better suited to larger cake projects.

These are are large pastry tips. For me, that was not a probem since I didn't want them for fine work. What was a probem was that the "better bought together" couplers were 4 small couplers, competely incompatable.

This set contains mostly large tips that will not fit on standard couplers. I thought this set would be like half of the extra large tip set that contains 12, however only 3 tips are extra large - basketweave, round, and star. The basketweave may be useful for crumb coating but a little on the small side. The round tip is really big, perfect for cupcakes. The french star tip is also good for cupcakes. The three smaller tips are okay for cupcakes but I'd say they're more for cake borders/decor - closed star, french star, and round.

Love the product but case was broken when I received it.

the tips seem fine but i havent used them yet. the box does not latch closed. it just pops right back up though there is nothing in the way. a little disappointing. just have to store it flat.

The tips do not stay on the plastic piece and bags very well at all. I'll screw it into place and then it pops off again while I'm decorating. This is not a very good quality set.

The icing tools are great and I like the little plastic box they come in ...I am just suggesting better packaging because I am really disappointed when I opened it and I saw that the plastic box is a little broken ):

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. These icing tips are not up to Wilton quality, I really missed having the tips numbered. I will use them. I am sure they will get the job done, next time I will research some before buying tips.

So i loved this tips but the box seem like it can get broken so easily. I talk to the buyer and they will make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else

These are huge. I know the reviews go into much detail about this, but I was in a rush and didn't read them all as I usually do. I don't know why the sellers don't specify.

I was expecting my ateco tips for a month now and when they finally came, I ended up getting some non name brand set of 6 tips that I wasn't expecting. Not happy

These tips are GIGANTIC and do not fit the standard couplers. PASTRY size I guess. Does someone else want to weigh in on tip sizes?

We bought these using one of those suggested "bundles" Amazon lists with some items. Within the bundle were a set of six tube tips, a set of 4 couplers and a bag. The tips are enormous and cannot be used with the couplers. Unless you have other, smaller tips to use them with, the couplers are useless. Since the coupler is needed to keep the tip in place, the tips are pretty useless too. Completing this mismatched trio is the pastry bag. Nice bag, but since the tips and coupler cannot be used together, the bag is of no use either. Just because three things seem to go together does not mean they actually do work together....

Very large tips! I wish I new this before I bought them!

This needs to be re-named to large pastry tubes as there's no indication and Amazon even suggests you buy them with standard pastry couplers and disposable bags (which I did). Extremely disappointed as I had to wait a while for my order to get here and now that it has, I have no way to use them since the standard couplers don't fit the HUGE pastry tubes!

Not crazy about these, I would have thought they would be numbered for use. When you have a chart of tip designs it's a pain to not know what size you're using.

I thought the tips were a little bigger. But it's still a good purchase. The shipping not so great. It took a long time for it to come, and when I mean long.... 1 month it is not an exaggeration

Didn't get the tips in the picture. Received some off-brand smaller tips none of which looked like this picture.

Cheap quality. Came from China in really sketchy packaging as well.

They sent me the wrong tips, and I needed them for summer camp for a cake decorating contest. I didn't have time to return them, so I had to scramble and find more from other resources. They sent me the jumbo tips, which didn't fit the bags or couplers I purchased at the same time.

I saw all the great reviews for the tips and figured they would be worth my money. Well, they were a rather big disappointment because they did not look like the picture AT ALL. I don't even think they were Ateco. I was really looking forward to trying this high rated item, but it's likely that I'll be sending them back.

Alright, so I ordered these wth the expectation of them being Ateco, instead I received some knock off, Chinese made brand tips that don't even look like the tips described in the the photos and in other customers reviews. To top it all off, the package came damaged, it had a hole next to the side of the star tip. I'm so disappointed because this is not what I ordered. I don't know how they work when it comes to icing but I don't even want to try them. I'll most likely return them. I do not recommend these at all.

I brought these tip mainly for the basket weaving tip. I wanted to hand make baskets for easter for my children and i don't see that happening now..Im going to have to make a larger hole in my bag and i dont have a coupler to fit so its a waste of my time and money... if you want larger tips these are great for you..

Description looks like they are big but they are the smallest. I have not use for them

they were cheap don't be fooled I would notrecommend this to anyone better to pay the extra moneyand get a good set they were not number or anything

I would not suggest anyone buying these, they are not numbered and do not fit in the couplers correctly. I ended up buying a set from Wilton and am happy with it.

These are made cheaply and the tips are not numbered. The case was cracked and it does not close now. I do not recommend buying these. I am a professional baker and I already know these are going to rust

out of 52 pcs 49 of them were starts and 3 were circles. Not at all was what i the picture I wish I new this before spending my money

It's a fake!!!It's different than you see in the photo/What I got has no at all rose tips. It has same circle tips.. whateverSuch a disappointment!!!! Don't buy it if you are looking for what you see in the photo.See MY PHOTO what you actually get from this order!!!!
