These arrived undamaged and in good condition.They fit my standard tips.I'm not a professional and use them most often with ziptop type bags instead of dedicated piping bags. They work great for this. It's nice to have a few bags going with the different colors.They are sturdy with a positive connection. So far no problems in the dishwasher.

although i still had a couple sets., one of them got crushed in my garbage disposal so just wanted back up

These are fine couplers but I bought them without looking because they were suggested as "frequently bought together" with the tips I was buying (Ateco 6-Piece Pastry Tube and Tips Set).... nope not the right couplers.Now that I know a lot more about pastry bags and icing tips, this is a no duh... these are standard couplers and the tips I was buying were big guys. But I kept these couplers because you really can't have too many. I actually like these way more than the Wilton ones. They're sturdier.

These are probably what you're looking for. They are the size that fits normal-sized piping tips, and having four of them may prove more useful than you think, as two piping bags is often better than one.What sets these apart from the cheap ones you find in a supermarket is the quality of the plastic. They are sturdy and dishwasher-safe. They are also sure to work with any of the Ateco tips, and Ateco is the most ubiquitous brand in this area.So if you are looking for couplers, these are a good bet. Just remember you still need tips and bags

These are a set of four standard couplers, and is actually the brand we used while in culinary school. I don't know why people are saying they do not fit their tips. I have successfully used them with both my Ateco and Wilton tips, and have had no problems. They are of great quality at an inexpensive price.

I'm a full-time home-based decorater/Bakery Owner. I decided to try these out because I didn't have to pay shipping as it was an "Add On" item and also because I have consistently enjoyed the Ateco brand so much more over Wilton. After getting these and using these for a couple of months, I will be slowly switching all my couplers over to Ateco. They are much stronger, the seal is so much tighter that Wilton so no chance of leaking or improper seal, and I notice I haven't had any problems with the threads on these couplers at all. With Wilton, after the same kind of use, I either get something that cracks or the threads get stripped after 2-3 months. I am constantly replacing them. These also clean up nicely. Sometimes with Wilton, certain colors stain and it takes several washings for some colors to fade. These clean right up and nothing seems to stain them.

Good pipping tubes. I am using "804" for the macrons. They all come out in the right size. I think it should add more description on the product's posting that no need to use anything, just insert any tube in the bag and can start to pipe. I didn't know and waste money to get couplers.

Bigger than wiltons "large" and "extra large". Sturdy and well made.

These tips are of beautiful quality! I am a newbie to using a pastry bag and tips but I needed the pastry bag for making macarons. I love cooking so it was just a matter of time before purchasing a pastry bag. Ateco seems to have the best reviews, and most used by commercial and/or serious home bakers. I am very satisfied with my purchase of these nice stainless steel tips. I only had one issue and that was with Amazon recommending standard couplers being purchased with these. As a result I purchased a set of 4 couplers for which I currently have no use. Being a newbie to using a pastry bag, I had no idea about different size tips vs. couplers. These tips didn't have "large" in the description, so unfortunately it didn't even occur to me. While I typically read reviews, this time I just saw the stars indicating high ratings for these tips and just bought them along with the suggested couplers. The tips themselves should not lose stars due to Amazon's incomplete description. I'll inevitably require another pastry bag with standard tips so I will have another use for those other couplers sometime in the future. But it did require me to additionally purchase the large couplers and pay extra for quicker shipping because I had a time constraint.

For some reason, i thought the listing was for 4 tips... so I was pleasantly surprised when i opened the box and saw 6! I didn't bother ordering the couplers, i'd rather just cut a hole in a pastry bag. I knew from the reviews that they were big, but i was still shocked at just HOW big they are. The extra-large ones are about the same size at the base as a votive candle, and the large ones are about the size of those gold sacagawea dollars. Pretty big, but just what i was looking for to do one of those gorgeous ombre rosette cakes and some cupcakes frosted like they do in the cupcake shops, with a large swirl of frosting and a cute little topper. All in all i'm very pleased, i just hope my little wilton tips don't feel intimidated sharing drawer space with these monsters!

These are the Large and X-Large tips (3 and 3). The picture is very deceiving! If you want marching couplers, DO NOT BUY the suggested Frequently Bought Together Ateco 4-Piece Set of Standard Couplers because they WILL NOT FIT any of these tips! Instead you should buy the Ateco Large Plastic Coupler 404 which will fit the Large ones. As other reviewers have mentioned, the X-Large tips DO NOT need any couplers. Quality wise, the tips are great and large enough for making meringues or macaroons. Excellent quality. Thanks for reading.

I was looking for tips/tubes (Ateco calls them tubes and Wilton calls them tips -- confusing. I'm calling them *tips*). Specifically, i wanted large tips that are a size similar to Wilson 1M (what i call a large star tip and is readily availabe at big-box craft stores). Makes me crazy that listings for these things don't include the # and that there is no standard description for size. I created my own standard nomenclature for tip sizes: regular, large and extra large. I considered ordering a similar tip set from Bake It Pretty but the $8 shipping seemed rediculous. This 6pc set seemed like it could be right-on to suit my needs as a over-achieving-@home-cupcake-baker. The tips are indeed larger then regular tips (such as Wilton 12). Three are large and fit on a large plastic coupler. And three are extra large so they won't fit on a large coupler. The three large are Ateco tips #804 (round/plain), #864 (star) and #846 (closed star). The three extra large are Ateco tips #827 (French star), #808 (round/plain) and #898 (basket weave). I call the plain ones round because, well, the opening is round-- makes sense right? These numbers are clearly marked on the Ateco box so why can't the listing include them? It would save a lot of time and frustration to just list the sizes, numbers and descriptions for each tip and cut the confusion. The information was not available on Ateco's website either. So here it is and I hope it saves someone else some time and frustration. Amazon has frustration proof packaging so why not frustration proof product descriptions for tips?

MASSIVE bag, very sturdy and priced better than other brands while the quality is right up there with the competitors. I was able to frost 36 cupcakes without having to refill the bag once. Washes by hand well.

I ordered this 24" piping bag, because I make Russian style marshmallows called zefir/zefyr/zephyr. A large bag is very important to have. It worked perfectly! I am very happy! I used it with acosed star tip, no couppler was necessary. I recommend it!

I love this bag! I am a part-time cake decorator and have been struggling with finding a quality bag that cleans up easily and resists the grease of the buttercream icings I use. This, for the price, is wonderful. I'll be ordering more.

I ordered this for my mom and she loved it. It works with thicker pastes too. She thought the 10-inch was too small for her though and recommends the 18-inch for more comfort. It's well made and the material is sturdy.

I had avoided getting a pastry bag thinking it would be too hard to use. But when my hard plastic pastry tube gun broke, I got this and have been very pleased. It is easy to use and I have good control over the results.

I actually ordered the 18" inch but am still VERY happy with this purchase. We use it to fill dog toys with peanut butter (we have Pitbulls) and it's a dream. Very, very happy with the quality. Super easy to clean, dries nicely, and it's holding the shape wonderfully. Terrific item even if I'm not using it for the intended purpose; it's a dream!

I accidentally ordered two packages of Ateco couplers. Oh well. I find the Ateco products the best in the baker biz.

Serves it's purpose, but I'm finding I really don't need couplers as much as I used to. If you buy a small plastic organizing container for your icing tips, these fit in there nicely. Appear and feel sturdy. Would recommend if you use couplers.

These work well use them with Wilton tips , they are a good product .

These work exactly as expected. One word of caution--- Use uctual piping bags with these. I tried using zip top bags, as I have been told all my life, and they kept ripping instead of piping evenly.

These couplings are the same quality as the other ones I've purchased from more well-known companies. They are exactly what I was wanting and expected. Otherwise, there's not much to be said.

These tips were A LOT bigger than I had thought they were, but I suppose that's my own fault. Very good anyway, will use them.

They were what I expected at a great price, I selected free shipping, it took a bit longer than I expected or 5 stars for sure.I cant wait to try them out on my rose cake.

These are okay, but I prefer the wilton large tips more. These are too large to use with a coupler.

The extra large tips are much larger than I'd expected, so be sure to measure them before you purchase. I'd bought them to decorate culcakes and the two extra large tips are too big for that. They also do not fit the large joiner, so I will need to cut my bag in order to use these extra large tips. Considering I laid around $9 for 6 tips, I really can only use three of them, which wasnt a great purchase for my cupcake needs.

Not tube and tip set!This is just the tips and don't purchase the Standard Couplers that are shown on the page. They will not fit this tip! I spent most of the moring that I received these looking for the correct coupler. Well Ateco does not make a coupler that goes with these. I looked on the sit that sells these and they only show the standard coupler that is on Amazon. And that site is a jumbled mess. Anyway! I downloaded the catalog from Ateco and they have no coupler for this set of tips. Maybe one from another company will work with these, but I pipe only one size at a time, so don't really need to change tips. I use disposable bags with theses and they work fine.

These were shipped right on time and I was so excited! They were nice and big for decorating cakes and whole cupcakes, not decorations. But when I went to Michaels to buy some extra large couplers for my new tips, only 3 of the tips will fit on the coupler. The other 3 are too big and I haven't been able to find a coupler big enough for them. But it's still a good deal and I'm excited to use them!(:

Cleans pretty easily and holds enough material to use without constantly refilling.

Don't forget to make sure they are totally dry before you stick in your bag drawer. If you get mildew, apply bleach, let sit and wash in machine. Then make sure they are totally dry before you stick in your bag drawer.

It was much bigger than I expected it to be so I had to trim it to fit my needs. The bag is also very stiff but it works well with buttercream frosting.

I bought this because I was making my first batch of pate au choux for cream puffs. It is sturdy and nothing leaked through. You do need a very large decorating tip. Washing it was ok...a little scrubbing with nylon brush and hot soapy water when you turn the bag inside out. I let it dry over a 2 liter soda bottle.

I've been using the Ateco Bag for about a year now and it has been great. I've decided to buy this over the disposable plastic bag as it would be cheaper in the long run. Also when pipping dense batter like cream puff, the bag plastic can fail on you. I've had plastic bag just burst on me when too much pressure was placed on the bag.After a few months of use, the bag can be quite stain. Color frosting and chocolate batter can turn the inside of the bag a mirage of colors. The bag is made of a cloth with a plastic coating inside. It's important to wash it and let it dry completely after each use. It can be quite messy cleaning up, but it has held up so far.If you don't want to mess with cleanup and just get on with your day, I would recommend getting disposable piping bag. If you do a lot of baking and need something strong and reliable, I would buy this decorating bag, it has work very well for me.

I have larger hands which are also strong. I have been a decorator in the past so I know what works for me. This bag is big enough that the frosting is not squishing out the big end and small enough to twist near the tip to control the contents. Easy clean up, not too stiff, pliable. I like it.

I thought these would fit my large tips that I thought of as standard, but the small tips only fit. I ended up going to return them, but because they weigh so light I got a refund and got to keep them. This company has great customer service.

These are good couplers but these are the small size and do not fit standard tips.I wish the size was more clearly marked

Did not fit on several of my tips, I did give them to a friend and they fit perfectly on her tips. she likes them.

the quality is really good, but i was disappointed with the size they only fit the smaller tips and not the standered ones, i wish you clarified that in the description, plus they were expensive a lot more than the store bought ones

These don't work really well w/ the Wilton tips or bags. I have cut the ends of the bags to try and fit the coupler in there and there were gaps in the bags and the tips didn't fit.

Much larger than the apparent average. I had purchased the standard couplers Amazon suggested they should go with, but they don't fit with them at all. I didn't see the larger dimensions mentioned in the product description, and it would be great to know what kind of couplers they fit with, if they fit any at all. For use without couplers, they're fine, though you may have to cut the bag to make the tip go through the end (I did), again, because of the larger size.

they are a nice set, but are much smaller than i had anticipated. very odd mix match set of sizes and shapes. the should have more pics to show the difference.

These were bigger tips than I really expected. I'm not a cake decorator myself so if it said the sizes of the tips, apparently I didn't notice they would be larger tips. This was a gift to my partner who likes to do some basic cake decoration at home and these seem better suited to larger cake projects.

These are are large pastry tips. For me, that was not a probem since I didn't want them for fine work. What was a probem was that the "better bought together" couplers were 4 small couplers, competely incompatable.

This set contains mostly large tips that will not fit on standard couplers. I thought this set would be like half of the extra large tip set that contains 12, however only 3 tips are extra large - basketweave, round, and star. The basketweave may be useful for crumb coating but a little on the small side. The round tip is really big, perfect for cupcakes. The french star tip is also good for cupcakes. The three smaller tips are okay for cupcakes but I'd say they're more for cake borders/decor - closed star, french star, and round.

I have yet to use it as the LARGE coupler I bought does not work on this bag.

If you have to use a washable piping bag, this is the best one, but its SUCH a pain to clean, just buy disposable bags.

Unlike the wilton bags these stained when used with colored icing. I will still use them, they just don't look as nice.

It's good, but if you cut a hole to fit a large tip then it's too big to use anything smaller.

This may have been my own bad - but be aware. This is generally coupled with the Ateco 6-Piece Pastry Tube and Tips Set. They DO NOT fit together.

They turned out to be too small for the pastry tips I bought.

These don't fit with the Ateco tips I purchased, which is weird and disappointing. I'm sure they would work great if you have the right sized tips, but be careful buying these and the tips Amazon suggest go together, because they are Not the same size.

But Not want I needed!!! I bought it as a suggestion from amazon? "Those who bought this bought this." But with the metal tips I bought, really Couplers where NOT only TO small, But NOT NEEDED. Waste of money!!! never again!!

Why four of the same size? None of which worked with the tips I bought. Sizing these are not that easy. Perhaps Amazon should have them more as kits. I ordered a kit of smaller ones and also a larger coupler that was still not large enough for some of my tips. The kit, of course, was exactly what was needed. I admit... I'm a newbie at this so it can be even more confusing!

These are huge. I know the reviews go into much detail about this, but I was in a rush and didn't read them all as I usually do. I don't know why the sellers don't specify.

The tips are enormous and cannot be used with the couplers. Unless you have other, smaller tips to use them with, the couplers are useless. Since the coupler is needed to keep the tip in place, the tips are pretty useless too. Completing this mismatched trio is the pastry bag. Nice bag, but since the tips and coupler cannot be used together, the bag is of no use either. Just because three things seem to go together does not mean they actually do work together....

Very large tips! I wish I new this before I bought them!

This needs to be re-named to large pastry tubes as there's no indication and Amazon even suggests you buy them with standard pastry couplers and disposable bags (which I did). Extremely disappointed as I had to wait a while for my order to get here and now that it has, I have no way to use them since the standard couplers don't fit the HUGE pastry tubes!

The seam isn't sealed very well. So as I have used the back it has separated and frosting now leaks out.

I have a 12" flex-fabric one and thought a bigger one would be handy. But this one is too stiff and kind of smells funny. Probably won't use it much.

Way too stiff, and too large for the average frosting job. I don't remember seeing the measurements within the description. Difficult for me to use. May soften up with time.

I purchased this bag for piping macaron shells and fillings. Previously I had been using the Ateco disposable 18-in decorating bags with a coupler, which worked beautifully. I felt bad about using a disposable product when a reusable product was available, so I purchased this bag. Unfortunately, I have not found it nearly as easy to work with as the thinner, disposable bag. It requires much more hand strength to pipe and is bulkier and heavier. I am going to try one of the featherweight reusable bags and hope for better results.

I like the light weight bags so much better! this one is so heavy duty that it's unpleasant to use. I'm not sure why it needs to be so thick and rigid.

I really wanted to like this bag and at first i thought I did as it is light weight and cleans very easily. But I have now used this bag 3-4 times and every time the bag leakes not out the top as that would be me but it actually leaks through the plastic and canvas making my hands very slick and hard to control the bag and what I am piping. I feel like I wasted my money!

Wrong size couplers, they do not fit the large bag or large tips!! So much for a decorated birthday cake!! thanks for nothing Ateco.Youtube even shows that you must have the extra large couplers for this to work on this bag and tips, I should have researched this ahead of time.

It says standard, but doesn't fit on the many tips I have and come under standard size including ones from Ateco. They are now just sitting in the drawer...

Tips that were recommended for this was wrong size. Package suggestions should have more thought put into them. Cost to ship back is excessive.

Didn't get the tips in the picture. Received some off-brand smaller tips none of which looked like this picture.

Cheap quality. Came from China in really sketchy packaging as well.

They sent me the wrong tips, and I needed them for summer camp for a cake decorating contest. I didn't have time to return them, so I had to scramble and find more from other resources. They sent me the jumbo tips, which didn't fit the bags or couplers I purchased at the same time.

I saw all the great reviews for the tips and figured they would be worth my money. Well, they were a rather big disappointment because they did not look like the picture AT ALL. I don't even think they were Ateco. I was really looking forward to trying this high rated item, but it's likely that I'll be sending them back.

Alright, so I ordered these wth the expectation of them being Ateco, instead I received some knock off, Chinese made brand tips that don't even look like the tips described in the the photos and in other customers reviews. To top it all off, the package came damaged, it had a hole next to the side of the star tip. I'm so disappointed because this is not what I ordered. I don't know how they work when it comes to icing but I don't even want to try them. I'll most likely return them. I do not recommend these at all.

I brought these tip mainly for the basket weaving tip. I wanted to hand make baskets for easter for my children and i don't see that happening now..Im going to have to make a larger hole in my bag and i dont have a coupler to fit so its a waste of my time and money... if you want larger tips these are great for you..

A pack of disposable bags would have lasted longer for the same price - the seam split open near the tip on this after a few uses. I replaced it with a Wilton Featherweight, which so far is holding up better.

I've bought these bags before and they last awhile. But I just bought ten and they all ripped at the seam. Will give them another chance and see what happens. Don't want to throw away $50 again.

Description states outside material is cotton, however feels more like birch ribbon. SO stiff it's very difficult to turn inside out and hold in hand even after several washes in super hot water

Your product sucks!!!!!!! I've had two of the bags to burst along the seam!

They are very stiff and I ws unable to use them because they are so rigid! Winco bags are much better!
