You can wash and reuse if you really want but my icing tends to leave a residue that's hard to get off. Was really nice when I needed 7+ different bags of icing. Also, I hadn't realized there was a 12-INCH disposable bag option which would have been perfect for icing the cupcakes I wanted to make. It's a good variety of piping tips but noticed that it easily ...April 25, 2016 It's a good variety of piping tips but noticed that it easily rusts if not properly washed and completey dried up. How i knew that it rusts quickly? I accidentally left one tip in a disposable piping bag with an icing mixture in it in the refrigerator for around 12 hrs. When i took it out from the fridge i immediately removed the piping tip and threw away the disposable bag with the icing in it. And there it was, the rusty smell with the actual rust starting to build up in the inside of the metal. YouTube is a much better source on learning more about cake piping than what the free book has. | Weak SeamsDecember 30, 2016 I opened this new set of bags, and ended up using 6 when 2 normally would have worked. Four of the bags ruptured along the seam while piping. I was only trying to decorate two dozen mini cupcakes, and have never had bags fail like this before, even when decorating much greater quantities.
