The boxes are great. I did not have to work with them to fold like previous reviews stated. I fit perfectly for my baby shower invitations which the theme was message in a bottle. Sides folded like they were suppose to and I received it on time. Will buy again

Not super strong, but perfect for lightweight items that need a little more protection than a padded bag. Once air pillows are included the item stays safe and the box seems suitably strong.

I was nervous about this purchase because of the reviews but these boxes are PERFECT. the flaps were just right and they didn't weigh much at the post office. Definitely buying again!

For the price, this is a very nice deal. With free shipping on Amazon Prime, it makes it a steal at $8.50 for 25 boxes. That is 34 cents a box. The quality of the box is very good. It looks and feels like standard commercial grade corrugated cardboard boxes for that type and size of box. They are made of recycled cardboard, so it was slightly darker in color of the box compared to non-recycled boxes one would buy. But, that does not matter. I definitely recommend this box. If you have Amazon Prime, t will be a great deal with the free shipping.Came as a bundle of 25 strapped with a plastic binding strap. They arrived brand new in excellent brand new condition.This size box fits into the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded envelopes with a little room to spare. It was the closest I could find to fit into the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded envelopes without having to buy the expensive ones that is being marketed and sold and special size that fit exact maxing out the envelope. Those costs way too much per box for my needs. These worked out better. "If it fits, it ships" as USPS says for their Priority Mail Flat Rate stuff. Using a box inside the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope allows for shipping things not flat and nicely in the envelope while protecting it fairly well as long as you protect the item in the box with stuffing and filling as needed. Ships for the nice flat rate price of a flat rate envelope regardless of weight within the US.

Perfect! A box is a bit wonky every now and then, but they work great and always come together cleanly. They fit into a priority mail padded envelope (Shhh, don't tell anyone.). And in case no one else mentioned it, each box weighs 3.5 ounces.

I run a small business, nearly all of our products are akwardly sized. I have been struggling to find the right box for sometime now. This box is a perfect size for me, and they are flawless. Great construction, sturdy build.

I ship a lot using these boxes and I have yet had a box that was defective. These are really strong and durable boxes...

I bought these to ship large fishing lures I sold on eBay. They seem to be good quality and I have had no complaints.

These are surprisingly solid boxes considering their price! The walls feel solid and the box is nice and rigid when assembled. I use these boxes to mail DVDs. You can fit about 7 DVD cases stacked on top of each other with around 1.5" L x 0.5" W x 0" H space left inside. I'll be switching to the 8" x 6" x 4" boxes to save on packing material, but I'll definitely be sticking with Pratt, specifically the Pratt PRA0016 boxes.

I sell on eBay, mainly vintage items found at estate sales and auctions. Of all of the box sizes I need, I use this Pratt 9x6x4 the most. 4oz weight is convenient for keeping a package at First Class prices through the USPS instead of Priority rates. Consistent quality, good value, not too big to waste peanuts or bubble wrap to fill empty space, but big enough to allow room to securely wrap and protect vintage items. Easy to fold and tape, ships quickly, withstands the rough & tumble handling of shipping, customers are happy.

When I needed shipping box my first thought was buy local, I was in sticker shock when I saw what locals wanted for small shipping boxes. Then I looked here on Amazon and once again they saved me. The Pratt PRA0023 Recycled Corrugated Cardboard Single Wall Standard Box with C Flute, 9" Length x 6" Width x 4" Height, (Pack of 25) were just what I was looking for and being able to have them shipped Prime made them the perfect item. The boxes are very sturdy and easy to assemble.

These boxes are great for shipping small items. Though they are a very low price, they are not made from thin flimsy cardboard. They are very durable, and I have had no complaints from customers when using these boxes to ship. They items inside always arrive safe and sound.They are large enough for an "internet shipping label" to fit with no worries of overlaps or other issues that may cause your shipping label to be difficult to scan or read.Each box weighs about 3.8 ounces, so they are fairly light weight which helps greatly on shipping costs!

These boxes are great! They are heavy enough to be sturdy and protect the contents but not overly thick and heavy, as to cause the shipping charges to be outrageous! I didn't check every place to compare prices, because I needed them quickly, but the price was good, and since I'm a PRIME member,shipping was fast and free.

They are small. A bit smaller than I expected. They are good quality. A few of the corners have holes but I fixed them with extra tape.

The size is correct as per the product description. It is firm enough for heavy stuffs. I put in a 3 books with total weight of more than 10 lbs and didn't feel it will break.

I've been using these boxes for 2 years now. Never had a problem with shipping so far. The flaps are now all even and there's no over lapping anymore. The only little problem i've noticed, is that sometimes the flaps can be a little uneven and rustic in finish, but other than that, they're perfect for online shipments.

I usually have to add additional tape to cover the holes at the corners, which I do to prevent water damage in case a package I mail in the box happens to get wet or left out on someone's porch in the rain.

Good durable box for shipping. I order these often but noticed that this last shipment only had 24 boxes instead of 25. Not that big of a deal, but I will start counting them from now on.

They are great for the price. Every now and then, I have to take the box apart at the seam to reposition the tab and tape it all back together as it was incorrectly glued. But I would continue to order them. I do wish the boxes were lighter actually. I use these for 1st class shipments and the boxes weigh almost 4 ounces, so when the postal website calculates shipping, my customer has the option to choose 1st class shipping as long as the contents are under 13oz...but often the weight of the box makes it so that I have to send the item via Priority. But when I put it into a priority box, it is once again, under the limit for 1st class. So obviously, priority boxes are lighter than these. Again...not enough of a problem to make me stop ordering them.

I use the box to ship hats, and it's the perfect size for my baseball hats however I have also noticed that tape does not adhere to the box very well, so I end up using additional tape to make certain box will remain closed. I probably won't purchase again because of this reason.

I've been using these boxes for years and they get the job done. They are all a little misaligned, but not so badly that the boxes won't close or that there are large gaps.

Good box to use if you are sending something very small. Will keep the item secure and safe. Veryel easy and manageable when it is made into a box to be shipped. Can be used by most shipping services and good amount of boxes for the price.

Decent quality and ideal size to ship fragile Complete In Box (CIB) Nintendo NES and Sega CD games.Also the boxes are a little under 4 ounces each (3.8 ounces) which enables me to ship CIB vintage games via USPS First Class and be under the 13 ounce limit.Overall these boxes are excellent and versatile. I would recommend them.

I like these boxes nice and sturdy...however, I purchased these on Feb 6, and wanted to order another set 2 weeks later only to discover they had increased by almost 4 dollar a set...so I won't purchase them again.

They are boxes. A lot of the reviews talk about them being cheap or crooked. Which, they are cheap boxes but they are plain and perfect for shipping. I own a business and rarely use boxes but this does the job perfectly.

Good for light duty shipping. Not strong enough for heavy items.

It a package of boxes, the dimensions are correct, the boxes are blank, and they are easy to put together. I didn't really need that many, but I can donate the rest of them. They are great for shipping books or movies, and hold up well. I am happy with this product, and would repurchase.

Over the past three years, I have purchased a few hundred of these boxes (as well as other Pratt boxes). Last order was in 2016 for a package of 100 at a great price. I went to reorder in January and found that the 100 offer didn't exist and saw a number of negative reviews for the sets of 25. I decided not to order and contacted Pratt directly about the negative reviews. Their customer service rep stated that they had changed the design, now regretted it, and were going to go back to the old design but could not guarantee a date when they might be available. It's April 2017 and I'm still seeing negative reviews. The rep said that the "bad" boxes would be sold until they were all gone. That seems to be creating a "Catch-22" situation. Fewer people are buying them because of the poor reviews so there is still stock left (apparently). Having tried other boxes the original design was the best I found in that size for the price so I'm reviewing them as 3 stars - would give them 5 stars if they had never changed the design. Fingers crossed that Amazon and Pratt will get their act together and take the bad design boxes off the market or offer them as a different product - which is what they should have done in the first place.

these are a little wonky. the flaps don't seem to touch and have a small gap but I can tape over it.

The boxes themselves seem great, but I only received 23 out of the 25 boxes. I didn't count them until I had already opened them and packed 4 boxes. At that point, it was not worth it to me to return, but it makes me wary about ordering them again.

Boxes are very inconsistent in how they are put together, size wise. Some will slide right into a bubble mailer while most I had to cut down to size. On a positive note, the price is great and if you don't care about the bubble mailers, I'd say I'd give it 4 stars.

The price was right and I liked that the boxes are made in the USA and from recycled materials.BUT...the cardboard is just too soft.With a small amount of handling, the corners don't hold up and begin to 'crumble'.The boxes are workable, but they require a lot of tape to strengthen the sides and corners for shipping.

I often ship medium-ish items and was tired of searching for a box to reuse, so I figured I'd lay in stock of some Brand New Boxes. These were the right price and I liked that they were made in the USA. The size is great for things like kids' clothes and shoes; host gifts for my direct sales company; trade paperbacks; etc. They seem sturdy. The one complaint I have is that tape doesn't want to stick to them. I have never encountered this before but it's like it just is too smooth a surface or something - packing tape kind of wants to skim and slip off. I have to make sure to press the end down firmly before turning the corner to tape the flaps shut because if I don't it just kind of slides off. I'm not sure I'd repurchase just because of this. I tried a few brands of tape and ran into it with all of them.

This is a very nice size box, and price was fair. The only reason for the mediocre rating is that there is something about this cardboard that makes my tape barely stick to it. I need to make sure that any tape I put on wraps all the way around the box and back onto itself. I discovered this after getting some merchandise ready to ship one night, and finding by morning that the tape was loose in multiple locations. Maybe it's the recycled cardboard. I'll likely be careful about ordering boxes more made out of recycled materials going forward. No other box has given me this problem. Other than that, which I now know how to deal with, the boxes seem fine.

Overall, these are very good boxes. I would re-buy.

The boxes we sent unsecured and the corners were bent.

These were a little flimsy, but served the purpose.. I only needed 5 but they will come in handy and again the pricewas right.

I rarely write a review, but after seeing multiple 5 star reviews on these boxes I had to comment.I ship a lot of smaller items and 8X6X4 or 9X6X4 are the perfect size for many of my items.The cardboard used to make the boxes is of a decent quality.I use several sizes of small boxes and have purchased Pratt several times in different sizes.The issue is with the construction of the boxes themselves.The boxes seem to be cut improperly, as the flaps are not straight and do not line up properly.Also when they are glued to form a box, they are all glued haphazardly and not squared.This makes some of the boxes very difficult to tape up for shipping.Every bundle of boxes that I have purchased have the same issue.I don't know if Amazon is receiving seconds or if Pratt has poor quality control.Don't get me wrong, I will continue to use them as long as the boxes are fairly inexpensive.They are just not close to a 5 star product.5 star for cost, 4 star for materials, but 2-3 stars for construction.

Half the stack came ripped or torn in someway. Can still be used but they need a lot more tape.

I have bought these before, this shipment however, the closure flaps are double the size. Make it very difficult to close and assemble the box- not to mention adding uneccessary weight to my packages. Possible- this snuck its way past quality control??

If you are looking for light double wall boxes that require extra tape and packing inside, these are for you. The recycled cardboard has a finish that tape doesn't adhere to very well - I had to wrap these 360 in both directions to keep closed. Would not buy again...

Purchased these because I read reviews that they fit inside the padded flat rate envelopes, they do not. Not sure what has changed but these do not fit... Now I am left with 25 boxes I am unable to use. The boxes are great quality but don't purchase to use within a flat rate.

Did not work for me. The boxes are the correct size but are soft and flimsy. The boxes may work for shipping very lightweight items only. I don't believe they will protect contents.

I have Duck shipping tape, Scotch Storage and Moving Tape and RiteAid Shipping tape here, and none of them stick well to these boxes. (and this is winter in Maine. We are lucky if the humidity hits 40%.)

The boxes are good quality, overall they fit together very well, The reason for the 2 star review is even with the recent price increase they were still a good deal, The problem, their new method of shipping the boxes is cheap and you end up loosing some of the boxes due to damage and almost all of them have soft corners and edge dings. Price increases are understandable but shipping a product in a piece of plastic is unacceptable.

Not very consistent with the the glueing of the box (which is also found on the 6x6x6's but they are good for the price.

I been buying these boxes for a few years now and the quality of the boxes has decreased with time. Walls are too thin and flimsy now you can bend the walls so easy with your hands, regardless of what crush rate the box shows if you plan to ship any sort of possible fragile items this is not for you there are better options out there.

Products dimensions are physically larger than stated. Making product useless for any application where accuracy of tolerances is need. Decent boxes as far as construction and weight of cardboard, but for us and our uses completely useless.

1/4th of the boxes were damaged on the edge by a 1" pole or something.

The boxes are ok, the packaging was bad. The first four boxes of the pile were broken and bent at one side.

Many other reviewers have stated this, there are some issues with these boxes. (Note: my order was sold direct by Amazon as the seller). The main issue for me was that these boxes are actually 4" high, not 3 inches as described. There is even a stamp on the box that says 9x6x3, but if you measure with a ruler it is slightly OVER 4". I'm not sure how they got 3 inches out of that.Also the flaps are extra large - instead of meeting in the middle when the box is closed up, the flaps all extend to all the way across the width or length of the box. This adds even more size, a small amount of weight and makes taping it up a hassle. Bottom line is that this product is different from what is described and shown in the pictures.

Does NOT look like photo! Such a funky design to folding it making it difficult to securely tape.Does NOT tape down the middle but rather the flaps and sides overlap creating excess cardboard and weight. Would not buy again!

These boxes are a TRAIN WRECK!!! I've done plenty of shipping (as in shipped thousands of packages myself) and these boxes are THE WORST I have ever used. The flaps of the boxes do not match up so you have to spend about 5 minutes per box taping everything repeatedly. Worst design I've ever seen.

These boxes were perfect prior to the change. Why are the flaps full size? Why do they not meet in the middle? Is this a new trend in the boxing fashion world? This is dumb. Make the flaps meet at the middle please.

These boxes are unnecessarily heavy and inconvenient to tape securely. Buy the Pratt PRA0023 9x6x4 instead, these are still a standard center closure type box.

The product style has changed and DOES NOT MATCH THE PHOTO IN THE DESCRIPTION. There are FULL-SIZED flaps on all sides of the box, not half-flaps as shown. All of the excess cardboard makes this product several ounces heavier ~ much too heavy for my First Class shipping needs (I need to keep packages under 16oz, with product). It is also an awkward design, requiring much more packing tape to hold the heavier flaps in place. NOT A GOOD DESIGN.
