The boxes are great. I did not have to work with them to fold like previous reviews stated. I fit perfectly for my baby shower invitations which the theme was message in a bottle. Sides folded like they were suppose to and I received it on time. Will buy again

Not super strong, but perfect for lightweight items that need a little more protection than a padded bag. Once air pillows are included the item stays safe and the box seems suitably strong.

I was nervous about this purchase because of the reviews but these boxes are PERFECT. the flaps were just right and they didn't weigh much at the post office. Definitely buying again!

For the price, this is a very nice deal. With free shipping on Amazon Prime, it makes it a steal at $8.50 for 25 boxes. That is 34 cents a box. The quality of the box is very good. It looks and feels like standard commercial grade corrugated cardboard boxes for that type and size of box. They are made of recycled cardboard, so it was slightly darker in color of the box compared to non-recycled boxes one would buy. But, that does not matter. I definitely recommend this box. If you have Amazon Prime, t will be a great deal with the free shipping.Came as a bundle of 25 strapped with a plastic binding strap. They arrived brand new in excellent brand new condition.This size box fits into the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded envelopes with a little room to spare. It was the closest I could find to fit into the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded envelopes without having to buy the expensive ones that is being marketed and sold and special size that fit exact maxing out the envelope. Those costs way too much per box for my needs. These worked out better. "If it fits, it ships" as USPS says for their Priority Mail Flat Rate stuff. Using a box inside the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope allows for shipping things not flat and nicely in the envelope while protecting it fairly well as long as you protect the item in the box with stuffing and filling as needed. Ships for the nice flat rate price of a flat rate envelope regardless of weight within the US.

Perfect! A box is a bit wonky every now and then, but they work great and always come together cleanly. They fit into a priority mail padded envelope (Shhh, don't tell anyone.). And in case no one else mentioned it, each box weighs 3.5 ounces.

I run a small business, nearly all of our products are akwardly sized. I have been struggling to find the right box for sometime now. This box is a perfect size for me, and they are flawless. Great construction, sturdy build.

Huge boxes, great for moving out loads of stuff. Just be sure you have help moving them if you put heavy things in them.

Just moved from farmhouse in Missouri to beach house in North Carolina. Boxes were sturdy and suffered no damage with move.

I would recommend these boxes! They are easy to assemble and sturdy enough to hold all my kitchen products as I bought them for pots/pans etc. Great size for this purpose.

The boxes were of good quality. I had a house to close & helped with boxing some of the larger items.

They are small. A bit smaller than I expected. They are good quality. A few of the corners have holes but I fixed them with extra tape.

The size is correct as per the product description. It is firm enough for heavy stuffs. I put in a 3 books with total weight of more than 10 lbs and didn't feel it will break.

I've been using these boxes for 2 years now. Never had a problem with shipping so far. The flaps are now all even and there's no over lapping anymore. The only little problem i've noticed, is that sometimes the flaps can be a little uneven and rustic in finish, but other than that, they're perfect for online shipments.

Sturdy box. Folds together with ease. I love that it's a recycled paper product. My only wish is that the box would fit together a bit more snugly at the corners. I usually have to add additional tape to cover the holes at the corners, which I do to prevent water damage in case a package I mail in the box happens to get wet or left out on someone's porch in the rain.

Good durable box for shipping. I order these often but noticed that this last shipment only had 24 boxes instead of 25. Not that big of a deal, but I will start counting them from now on.

They are great for the price. Every now and then, I have to take the box apart at the seam to reposition the tab and tape it all back together as it was incorrectly glued. But I would continue to order them. I do wish the boxes were lighter actually. I use these for 1st class shipments and the boxes weigh almost 4 ounces, so when the postal website calculates shipping, my customer has the option to choose 1st class shipping as long as the contents are under 13oz...but often the weight of the box makes it so that I have to send the item via Priority. But when I put it into a priority box, it is once again, under the limit for 1st class. So obviously, priority boxes are lighter than these. Again...not enough of a problem to make me stop ordering them.

thick boxes that we used for moving, however it's not "large", I would say it's medium sized.

Need some boxes? These are boxes. They are made from cardboard. They are durable enough for a good amount of abuse during a move. You can put things in them, tape them up, and them move them. You can stack them on top of each other at a weight of the average male's ability to lift said box and not fear collapse. These boxes also come with a very large bonus box, in which they are all shipped (in my case, about the height of these boxes and about double the width,) that one should definitely make use of during their move.They didn't give me superpowers, but you can successfully move on a budget by utilizing them.

Boxes work well for a local move but they are thin. I would not recommend for long distance transport

Boxes are not very thick so be careful what you pack in then.

Over the past three years, I have purchased a few hundred of these boxes (as well as other Pratt boxes). Last order was in 2016 for a package of 100 at a great price. I went to reorder in January and found that the 100 offer didn't exist and saw a number of negative reviews for the sets of 25. I decided not to order and contacted Pratt directly about the negative reviews. Their customer service rep stated that they had changed the design, now regretted it, and were going to go back to the old design but could not guarantee a date when they might be available. It's April 2017 and I'm still seeing negative reviews. The rep said that the "bad" boxes would be sold until they were all gone. That seems to be creating a "Catch-22" situation. Fewer people are buying them because of the poor reviews so there is still stock left (apparently). Having tried other boxes the original design was the best I found in that size for the price so I'm reviewing them as 3 stars - would give them 5 stars if they had never changed the design. Fingers crossed that Amazon and Pratt will get their act together and take the bad design boxes off the market or offer them as a different product - which is what they should have done in the first place.

these are a little wonky. the flaps don't seem to touch and have a small gap but I can tape over it.

The boxes themselves seem great, but I only received 23 out of the 25 boxes. I didn't count them until I had already opened them and packed 4 boxes. At that point, it was not worth it to me to return, but it makes me wary about ordering them again.

Boxes are very inconsistent in how they are put together, size wise. Some will slide right into a bubble mailer while most I had to cut down to size. On a positive note, the price is great and if you don't care about the bubble mailers, I'd say I'd give it 4 stars.

The price was right and I liked that the boxes are made in the USA and from recycled materials.BUT...the cardboard is just too soft.With a small amount of handling, the corners don't hold up and begin to 'crumble'.The boxes are workable, but they require a lot of tape to strengthen the sides and corners for shipping.

Convenient and cheap if you live in NYC since it's a hazzle to buy boxes, but they are not of the best quality.

They survived shipping most things, but these are not thick or strong boxes. They are kind of cheaply made. Don't trust them with anything very fragile.

Too expensive

These boxes were a little light and there was some damage to the boxes when shipment arrived. Wish they would have held up better and will compare weight before I buy next time.

Good, not great boxes. Mainly suited for lightweight bulky items. Otherwise they have thinner walls and shift around when packed. Best to go with a heavier walled box for anything with any real weight. Holds true for all sizes from this company compared to a slightly pricier alternative.

I have bought these before, this shipment however, the closure flaps are double the size. Make it very difficult to close and assemble the box- not to mention adding uneccessary weight to my packages. Possible- this snuck its way past quality control??

If you are looking for light double wall boxes that require extra tape and packing inside, these are for you. The recycled cardboard has a finish that tape doesn't adhere to very well - I had to wrap these 360 in both directions to keep closed. Would not buy again...

Purchased these because I read reviews that they fit inside the padded flat rate envelopes, they do not. Not sure what has changed but these do not fit... Now I am left with 25 boxes I am unable to use. The boxes are great quality but don't purchase to use within a flat rate.

Did not work for me. The boxes are the correct size but are soft and flimsy. The boxes may work for shipping very lightweight items only. I don't believe they will protect contents.

I have Duck shipping tape, Scotch Storage and Moving Tape and RiteAid Shipping tape here, and none of them stick well to these boxes. (and this is winter in Maine. We are lucky if the humidity hits 40%.)

The boxes are good quality, overall they fit together very well, The reason for the 2 star review is even with the recent price increase they were still a good deal, The problem, their new method of shipping the boxes is cheap and you end up loosing some of the boxes due to damage and almost all of them have soft corners and edge dings. Price increases are understandable but shipping a product in a piece of plastic is unacceptable.

2 of the boxes can't be use because the oil on it.

Many other reviewers have stated this, there are some issues with these boxes. (Note: my order was sold direct by Amazon as the seller). The main issue for me was that these boxes are actually 4" high, not 3 inches as described. There is even a stamp on the box that says 9x6x3, but if you measure with a ruler it is slightly OVER 4". I'm not sure how they got 3 inches out of that.Also the flaps are extra large - instead of meeting in the middle when the box is closed up, the flaps all extend to all the way across the width or length of the box. This adds even more size, a small amount of weight and makes taping it up a hassle. Bottom line is that this product is different from what is described and shown in the pictures.

Does NOT look like photo! Such a funky design to folding it making it difficult to securely tape.Does NOT tape down the middle but rather the flaps and sides overlap creating excess cardboard and weight. Would not buy again!

These boxes are a TRAIN WRECK!!! I've done plenty of shipping (as in shipped thousands of packages myself) and these boxes are THE WORST I have ever used. The flaps of the boxes do not match up so you have to spend about 5 minutes per box taping everything repeatedly. Worst design I've ever seen.

These boxes were perfect prior to the change. Why are the flaps full size? Why do they not meet in the middle? Is this a new trend in the boxing fashion world? This is dumb. Make the flaps meet at the middle please.

These boxes are unnecessarily heavy and inconvenient to tape securely. Buy the Pratt PRA0023 9x6x4 instead, these are still a standard center closure type box.

The product style has changed and DOES NOT MATCH THE PHOTO IN THE DESCRIPTION. There are FULL-SIZED flaps on all sides of the box, not half-flaps as shown. All of the excess cardboard makes this product several ounces heavier ~ much too heavy for my First Class shipping needs (I need to keep packages under 16oz, with product). It is also an awkward design, requiring much more packing tape to hold the heavier flaps in place. NOT A GOOD DESIGN.
