A very good pet toothbrush!
August 8, 2016
Works very well for my cats.
I bought theses at a really good price!
June 28, 2016
It's so difficult to find cat toothbrushes without buying the toothpaste with it! I tried to buy toothbrushes through my vet, but they were so expensive. I bought theses at a really good price!
Many uses
May 18, 2016
The small end works great for my Chiweenie. I bought several of these and my husband has 'stolen' a couple to clean small parts. I also keep one at the kitchen sink to clean small items and inner lip of Tupperware lids. I know these are not the intended uses but, for some things, these are the right tool for the right job!

Self explanatory. Use for cats. Typical cat brush, cheaper than stores.
Works well

Wanted a smaller toothbrush for my dog and this was great with the two different sides. I have a hard time brushing her teeth but I like this a lot better than the kind you put over your finger
Durable and Easy to use
July 11, 2015
I use the smaller end with my puppies. The bristles are soft enough that it doesn't hurt there teeth and gums, and the plastic is durable enough that if they bite it while I'm brushing, they can't chew through it. Awesome!

Great product
June 23, 2017
Yup. Same stuff I bought at the vet for twice as much. Works great. I rub it on my dog's teeth with my finger every night. The vet was very pleased with the minimal tarter even on 3 Jack's back teeth (he's 3 years old). He said dogs usually have more by that age. Also seems to help combat doggy breath. Highly recommend. I do it right before bed so it sits on his teeth and in his mouth longer. I've been told that it won't work unless you are very consistent with application (at least 5 X per week).
REALLY GOOD DOG TOOTHPASTE LIKED BY BOTH DOG AND APPRECIATED BY HUMAN FOR DOING A GOOD JOB!
June 18, 2017
Dalmatians can't have a lot of ingredients. We who have Dals have to be astute label readers. Not only is this a safe for Dallies toothpaste, she really likes the taste of it and does not mind my brushing of her teeth with it at all. My vet recommends and sells the exact same toothpaste..It was so much more convenient to order it and have it delivered. It is a good product, that does what we expect it to and has my veterinarian's backing 100% !
Amazingly well-received by my dog and making a difference!
December 15, 2015
Ok, so my 7-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi hates the vet and hates all grooming services, including getting his teeth brushed. Last time I tried getting his teeth professionally cleaned at the vet's, he woke up disoriented, fearful, shaking and sick after the anesthesia. I felt really bad putting him through it, but I had failed to regularly brush his teeth on my own because he was resistant to the previous toothpaste and toothbrush I had tried. Surprisingly, he likes this CET Poultry Toothpaste and doesn't run away or cry when we try to brush his teeth anymore. At the end of the day when we let him outside one last time, he comes in expecting a bedtime treat. Before we give him the treat, we first let him lick a tiny bit of toothpaste for flavor, and then we add more to the brush and brush each side of his mouth. Afterwards, we praise him and give him a dental treat like a Greenie. After a short time of use, we have already noticed his teeth look much better and healthier! This is definitely a result of the toothpaste & brushing (as we were already giving him dental things like Greenies). I am so happy to have found something my dog likes (or at least doesn't mind), that actually makes a difference to his dental health while saving us the stress of taking him to grooming services. THANK YOU!
My cats love it! Makes brushing so much easier!
August 4, 2015
I have two cats who are 16 months old. In my first attempt to brush their teeth, I used a dental kit for cats that I had purchased at a pet store. The toothpaste in the kit was mint flavored, and neither cat liked it. In fact, one cat absolutely hated it.There's got to be a better way!I tried dental treats, but I'm pretty sure my cats weren't really chewing them. No, we needed to go back to brushing. I thought, "If I were a cat, what flavor of toothpaste would I want?"So, I searched Amazon for fish- or chicken-flavored toothpaste. I found this brand and purchased the poultry flavor. My cats really aren't fans of toothbrushing in general. So, I started by letting them have a very small taste of the paste. They loved it. Then, I introduced them to the paste on the tip of an oral swab. The final step was getting in some actual brush action. My cats still do not adore their daily dental hygiene time, but this toothpaste makes the experience much easier for all involved parties. Both cats typically come to me when they hear me preparing for their brushing session. When it's time to be brushed, each cat actually will grab my wrist with both paws to pull the toothpaste-tipped swab closer. I let each cat have a tiny taste before brushing begins.I'm very happy that my cats like this toothpaste and--kind of, sort of--look forward to brushing sessions. My cats used to resist brushing so much; I never thought I'd be brushing their teeth daily!
Beyond impressed!!!

My chi/it. Greyhound mix hates getting his teeth brushed. His gums are super sensitive and they bleed and it basically never did anything for the build up starting in his mouth. I've used a few other toothpastes, but none have had any results from weeks of nearly daily brushing...after one use of C.E.T. My pup has had noticeably whiter teeth! After his second brushing and with the help of my finger nail, the black ring of buildup at his gum line just SLID off without effort! Of course, my pup gets impatient so I've only gotten to work on one side of his teeth so I have a great side-to-side comparison of how his teeth look before and after with only two uses! Will update again in a few weeks.

December 7, 2014
My cat knows when it's time to brush his teeth and he waits patiently for me and my bf to be done brushing ours for his turn. Easy tube to reseal (it's just like human toothpaste containers but metal instead of plastic) and plenty of it to last for many brushing sessions. My cat is really easy going and endures me scrubbing his teeth because he loves to eat the toothpaste. This might not be the case for everyone, so maybe get the sample sized toothpaste before buying a whole tube (that's what I did!). His teeth appear to be clean (I'm no veterinarian) and we brush his teeth most nights.

Inexpensive tooth brush for the dog, a 9 pound ...

Inexpensive tooth brush for the dog, a 9 pound toy poodle. Not too big a head for a small dog.
Simple and Inexpensive
January 28, 2016
Looking for a new toothbrush for your dog? These toothbrushes are very inexpensive and a great investment to buy in bulk. I ordered one of these when I noticed my dog's toothbrush was starting to get worn. These ship from China so it will take a little while to deliver, but it's worth it. In the future I will order a handful of these so that my dog doesn't have to have her teeth brushed with over-used bristles. These work well on small dogs and are not intrusive. The bristles are as soft as other dog toothbrushes in the pet store. I would recommend this product for anyone just looking to have more dog toothbrushes on-hand.

My cat likes the flavor. Still resists brushing
August 20, 2017
I originally had bought the malt flavored one for my cat and he hated it!! He didn't even want to sniff it. As soon as I put some of this poultry flavor toothpaste on a tooth brush, he started purring and tried to lick it. He still full force resisted the brushing part, but at list he doesn't seem to mind the flavor. Great toothpaste for kitties!
Great Toothpaste for Dogs
January 7, 2017
Our dog has certain dietary restrictions (he's allergic to beef, chicken, rice, peas, an a ton of other things). However, even though this toothpaste is "poultry flavor" he doesn't seem to have any problems with it. We've been brushing his teeth nightly for months and he loves this stuff. The consistency is much sticky than normal human toothpaste and the scent is pretty gross but our dog loves it!
Wish I had better idea of how much drool to expect and amount to use..
October 21, 2014
I first became aware of this product through my veterinarian who suggested that I apply it to my dog's teeth "regularly", at least twice a week. My dog does not like us to brush his teeth or stick our fingers in his mouth but he didn't seem to mind so much with this toothpaste. So I took the sample home with me and used it at home. What I never knew was exactly how much to apply during each use. Is it a "dab", a "dime", a "pea size", and is that for the whole mouth or each side? This confounded me. So I used "a lot" on each side and front upper and lower...and shortly afterwards, my dog starts to drool like crazy! He never drooled before but he drooled for two days straight over the weekend and I couldn't figure out at first why...I thought he hurt his mouth or had chipped teeth or had splinters in the gums or something. I checked but there was nothing wrong. I was about to call the vet to get him looked at when all of a sudden, the drooling stopped. It coincided with the fact that I stopped applying the toothpaste to his mouth. That was my "Eureka!" moment - that it was the CET toothpaste which I used a lot of on Friday to finish up the sample. This toothpaste works by promoting (excessive) saliva production to clean the teeth so not to use too much. However, I still don't really know what the correct amount is to use for the entire mouth of a large dog. I put about a pea size onto the tip of my finger and rub his teeth in different areas but I'm not sure if I"m doing this right because the label doesn't say anything about how much to apply. All I know is that I have not applied too much to cause him to drool excessively like before. But is this correct? I don't know. What is the desired drool amount? I just don't know if it's working as well as it should because it only stay on his teeth for a few seconds after I apply it. He's not drooling anymore but it still makes me feel good that I am "brushing" his teeth as per my vet's recommendation. Overall, I would still recommend this toothpaste because my dog seems to like the taste and licks it up as soon as I put it in his mouth. I just wish I knew exactly how much to apply for my dog's size and what is desired drool amount. I'd give it 4.0/5.0. -10/21/2014
Dog loves it
March 24, 2014
My dog loves this toothpaste. He's actually incredibly great about getting his teeth brushed (I have no idea why since all the other dogs in my life have fought me with this) and holds still when I brush them. This stuff gets him licking up a storm. He wants to make sure the brush is totally clean of the paste after I brush his teeth when he normally doesn't do that with other pet toothpastes. When used daily or every other day I have noticed an immense difference in the smell of his breath. If I miss a couple days the rank dog breath odor comes back. I haven't noticed a difference in the discoloration of his teeth though. They still look pretty yellow where I brush the most but I guess that is something I will just have to keep an eye on. Overall, great toothpaste. My dog loves it. So, that's all that matters.
My dogs don't seem to mind
January 3, 2014
We have 3 dogs, and 1 of them (a Pit bull) loves getting her teeth brushed. The other 2, even though I think they like the poultry flavor, still do not enjoy getting their teeth brushed. Also, I'm not sure exactly how effective this (or any pet toothpaste/toothbrusing) is in general. I know this is off topic, but I figure folks who are reading reviews about this product might find the following information helpful. The absolute best teeth cleaner we have found for our dogs are short rib bones. We eat the short ribs, slow-cooked or oven baked, then give our dogs (a bichon, a Pit, and a husky) the bones afterwards. They will chew on the bone for weeks it seems. The bichon had horribly black and gunky teeth, and all of the tooth-brushing and greenies didn't seem to be making a difference (Granted, we adopted him from a kill shelter, and he was listed as a stray). Anyway, the bones have done wonders to clean all of their teeth, and they absolutely love the bones as well, which is a bonus. Another bonus is that we don't have to spend any more money on Greenies or artificial dog bones, and we don't have to just throw away these bones either. I know folks say that you shouldn't give your dogs cooked bones, and I honestly think that's a bunch of crap, - probably a myth made up by the dog food industry a long time ago in order to make money selling bones, who knows. We have been giving our dogs cooked short-rib bones for years w/ no issues. But back to the toothpaste, as far as pet toothpaste goes, I think it's pretty good. At the very least, the dogs lick it and seem to enjoy the taste!
Seems like a good product..time will tell.

Arrived promptly. I have 2 dogs, and after this years staggering vet bill for cleanings (I never brush their teeth), I decided I'd better try to do better for them (and my pocketbook!).Had a bit of a learning curve in the actual brushing. They seemed to get used to it quickly, and sit quietly for the brushing. My vet said you only have to use it twice a week and it will still prevent some plaque formation. I do it every 2-3 days. Will post an update after I see how their annual exam goes next time, if there was an improvement in how fast the plaque and tartar builds up. For now, it gets 4 stars for apparent good taste (LOL), ease of use, price compared to the vets office, and prompt delivery.

Worked great, but why the aspergillus??
October 8, 2017
This was fantastic toothpaste when I used it for my dog. He was a rescue and older in age, so he had a lot of dental issues. After the vet pulled five teeth and got him all fixed up, I gave him the Virbac rawhide chews and had him lick this off my finger. He wasn't a fan of having his teeth brushed, but just having this in his mouth helped, due to the enzyme action. Excellent concept, and I fell in love with the brand.Something I'm trying to find out right now though is why there's aspergillus niger in this product? It's a type of mold and I'm very allergic to it. I just recently found out about my mold allergies, and I'm super disappointed it's being used in toothpaste. Not only is mold an allergen, it's toxic and causes inflammation in humans and animals. I'm going to try to find out from Virbac what's up with this. Until then, I won't be using anymore of their products on my pets, because the aspergillus is in the chews and toothpaste. Normally, I would rate this five stars, but for now I'm giving it 3.

Toothpaste for my dogs ????? well better than putting them to sleep at the vet for him to clean. It's way too much money though so I went with another brand that is much cheaper.
Is there such a thing as toothpaste tasting TOO GOOD??? Maybe...
August 3, 2015
Doggie LOVED the taste. But imagine the BACON treat commercial, if you will... "BACON?.. BACON!! BACON!!! IT"S BACONNNNN!!!!" And trying to brush that enthusiastic dog's teeth....Though Legacy Pet Poultry toothpaste is delicious, Doggie's plainer toothpaste enabled a calmer tooth-brushing experience.

February 25, 2012
I can't really speak as to how well this product works, because my cat runs away and hides every time I bring this out! Without the toothpaste, she is fine letting me near her mouth and teeth, but as soon as I put this paste on my finger, she squirms and cries and tries to get away. If your cat is really relaxed about having their teeth cleaned, then this may do a very good job at maintaining dental hygiene! But my cat won't go near it.
