I received a couple of these peelers as a favor at a Tupperware Party years ago. Sadly, we lost one at some point, probably during one of our many moves. We are recently retired and have purchased an RV. Of course, we are stocking it with all needed supplies and a fruit peeler is something we have to have. I was so pleased to find this set on Amazon, and happy that they are the same as the old ones. Although the color is a little different, they function the same way and make peeling an orange an easy task.

You may not think you need this, but if you like oranges, lemons, grapefruit, etc. you'll be amazed at how mush easier it is to peel the fruit. One end has a cutter that pierces and splits the skin of the fruit, but is completely safe for human hands. It only goes through the skin of the fruit without cutting the fruit inside. The other end is used to peel the skin away, along with the outer pulpy stuff. The result is whole, intact fruit sections . The device will last for years. I bought more to give to family and friends.

I am so happy to have these again. I use to have a yellow one that I got from Tupperware in the 70's and missed having it because it makes peeling an orange so very easy. I received 4 pretty blue ones and absolutely love them. No more citrus under my finger nails. LOL! Buy them you will love them.

My husband asked where our old Tupperware orange peeler was and I think we lost it during our move year ago. I decided to look them up on Amazon and found this deal to buy a set of them. I have one in my desk drawer, one in the motorhome and a couple more at home. They work great and I don't have orange peel under my nails any more. Love them!

Why don't more people know these exist?! They're absolutely the best thing to peel an orange. Simple tool, and small enough to keep at work too. My grandparents had these when I was little, and I've never found anything better to peel an orange. I love that they come 4 in a package. I've given a couple away to friends. Mine are bright pink, not black.

I had a set of these type of peelers more than 25 years ago but lost them in a move last year. So I was very happy to see this set on Amazon. For this particular product, the type of material used in the manufacture and creation of the product seems to be of very good quality. One must consider that for any product of this type there is a balance between the type of material used and the cost that is to be passed on to the consumer. I think this is an excellent product and would recommend it for everyone.

Super helpful to score oranges to make it easier to peel. I am a teacher and we serve breakfast in the classroom. I dread the days we get a whole orange and first grade students have to peel it on their own. I purchased these to help score the skin for the kids. The peelers are easy to use and easy to clean!

I used to use the other style of orange peeler for decades. the kind that you are supposed to use for zesting and other stuff. these are so much better. just slip it onto a finger or thumb (the discussion about how to use them is very entertaining) the first set I got had 1 that was distorted and not useable. but they are so great I didn't take any stars off for it. also the price is so low I didn't care. am reordering 2 more sets, so I can have them on hand ... and besides, the kids take them home when they come and visit. these are a wonderful little add on to tuck in a fruit gift. or to have tucked away in the car for trips.

My husband will not peel an orange without one of these!! These are great and really help make orange peeling easier. The sharp spike at the end pierces the flesh of the orange and scores the peel making it easier to peel off. Your finger goes into the hole for easier maneuvering.

I ordered the 4 Round Orange (Citrus Fruit) Peelers not really knowing what to expect. And I’ve been laughing at myself ever since.
First, I received 4 orange peelers. When I first opened the package, I thought there had to be some kind of mistake. These things are tiny. But then I realized that my visualization of the product and the actual product are worlds apart.
Second, this is a great little tool. Once I realized that this tiny little tool would save me from that yulky feel when first starting an orange peel, I was sold. I absolutely hate that first dig in to get an orange peeling. Also, I have thin weak nails which doesn’t help.
So, does this tool do what it says it does? Absolutely. Is it what I had pictured in size? Nope. But I’m sold.

I can honestly say that, when my girlfriend first showed me this item I laughed. I laughed a lot. I figured, who in the world could possibly need an item to make peeling an orange easier? Even for a chronic nail-biter like myself, would a knife not work?

If you like to eat an orange on occasion, just buy these. I don't think they could possibly cost less and they actually do the job they were designed for.

The cutting implement is the perfect depth, it cuts through the peel incredibly easily and leaves the fruit completely untouched. As a bonus, I've started slicing the peel North to South, taking one half of the peel off and using it as a bowl to collect the scraps.

This is probably more information than is necessary for such a small item, but I believe that something designed to do one job should do that one job perfectly. Unlike the vast majority however, this one actually lives up to that expectation.

The price was unbelievably inexpensive. It arrived approximately one month after ordering. When it did arrive one peeler was broken. OMG! A little bubble wrap might have helped to keep them safe. I'm not a quitter though. Still embracing my positive persona. I washed the peeler and handled the peeler as if it were the jewel from the Titanic. I steadied myself with plump orange in hand, ready to peel the luscious fruit of my hard earned labor and what happened next...was just short of miraculous. As a single tear streamed down my cheek... I effortlessly peeled until the juices were welcomed with awe and satisfaction. Channeled my inner Rafiki, holding my wee Simba orange above my head as I chanted, hakuna matata & danced in the street. Yes, orange peeler you've found your home.

These things worked great on peeling oranges. I was expecting much for the price, but they work as well as some higher priced peelers (Pampered Chef) I've used in the past.

For the picky male, who has no fingernails and prefers not to get his fingers sticky when pealing an orange, these peelers work! It will cut through the skin about the perfect depth every time. Going once around the orange allows you to simply peel back the skin (so it isn't 100% peeling free) and rip it off. For the purpose of peeling an orange before making a smoothie with it, you will not be disappointed.So far I am still on my first one and have been able to use it at least 20 times (no signs of wear yet). Make sure that you rinse it briefly after usage so that it doesn't start having a sticky layer like mine did, which took a couple minutes to scrape off.

I love it! I wish I had known about these sooner! This peeler makes peeling an orange as easy as peeling a banana! No more orange peel under my fingernails or breaking my nails with this new peeler! I'm eating oranges much more often now because it's so quick and clean to peel with these! It works great for peeling grapefruit too! The only time I have any problem with it is if I have an orange with a very thick peel.There's lots of different ways to peel with it. You can experiment with different ways. The easiest for me is to run the peeler from top to bottom down four sides of the orange, then pull down the peel in quarters.

Who would have thought a little plastic thing the size of a ring could peel and orange so quickly? I love this thing!

These work really great, are small and store easily, and wash really easily. I have always hated peeling oranges and would usually not eat them. With these I can peel large and small oranges without a lot of fuss.

These work great. Everyone needs one of these. However they do not come in the color they were originally advertised as. I got pink ones. If there was like a selection I would definitely buy these again

I had one of these years ago and somewhere along the way lost it. So I purchased these to replace it.These are 6 1/4" long and the part that slices into the citrus rind zips right through it. The flat end to help start peelingis quite a bit more flimsy than my old one but I guess everything nowadays is chintzier made. They work fine, would have given 5 starsif a bit more sturdy. Happy with purchase tho.

These work pretty well after you get used to them. I did have to look up online the correct way to use them since they just come in a pack with nothing else and I have never used one of these before.

Works good, as with any tool just be careful. I was holding an orange in the palm of my hand accidentally continued across the bottom of my hand and actually cut myself. Totally my fault. It does make it easier to peel an orange.

These are a bit smaller than I expected and they don't cut into a larger orange with ease, but it still works. I've showed them to my co-workers and they love the idea.

Took a little while to get but I love them... They def do what they are suppose to and everyone at work asks where they can get one.

These peelers work really well at peeling oranges. Had these in the past but over time they get lost or break and need replaced.

Looks are deceiving as they look like a little plastic ring but these work really well. We work in public safety and can't have knives or anything in our bags but we can throw these in our lunch bag and go. I love them and would recommend anyone getting them.

I absolutely love these! I bought them because I hate getting orange peel all up in my nails when peeling an orange, This peeler eliminates that issue completely! I have had so many people ask me about it when I am at work eating my lunch. The only gripe I have with it is that I have small hands so it fits my finger well. However I know several people who have bigger hands and fingers than I, and I feel like it wont fit there hands well.

They do what they are supposed to do. A little awkward the first time. You just need to figure out the best way for you to hold it. You can hold it a couple ways. Very portable to take along or send in a lunch so you can peel a fresh orange or grapefruit.

works as described..keeps that darn peel off hands and out of my nails. very inexpensive. very small though so easy to lose. I think they thought of that cause they send two in a package

We eat alot of oranges and citrus. This is a safe alternative for kids. We love it!

Had one a long time ago, same thing except the handle is less Rigid - it was easier for my arthritic hands to manage the more Rigid Shaft than this one

Worked as expected!

These were advertised as purple and real, and when they arrived they were all pink. It's not a major thing, but I was disappointed cause I would have really preferred the other colors.

They work well. A little flimsier than others of exact same shape--thinner plastic. For the money, very worth it compared to others that I saw.

These get the job done but they are very cheaply made. I couldn't find the brand I had previously purchased so I got these. They work well enough but I would not repurchase them.

I didn't realize this was an overseas company and it took forever to actually receive these .That being said they do work decent . They are sturdy enough but it really depends on the fruit you have and how thick the rind is . If it's too thick they get stuck. Eh I could take it or leave it . Great concept poor execution.

Advertised as set of 2. Expected 2 to be same. 1 was as pictured, other was not a complete ring for finger but rather about 1/3 ring on each side with open center - very awkward & unable to use. Initially, I thought 1 was broken until better inspection. Took nearly 6 weeks to arrive from China.

I don't know who's finger is supposed to fit in that circle, but mine isn't even close! That being said, hold it differently and it works very well.

They work, Quite a bit smaller than I thought they would be. Also VERY cheaply made, You can probably find them at the flea market or dollar store for way, way less money.

Disappointing. They are flimsy and don't cut very deep into the peel. Sorry I bought these. They are nothing like the Tupperware peeler I was given for attending a Tupperware party some years ago. That one finally broke after 35+ years. These won't last 6 months.

Wonderful peeler I'm sure but I ordered these only becuz the picture was black. They are pink!! Not that it makes a huge difference in how they work or anything just definitely would not have ordered pink ones..

The product photo showed that they were black and they arrived pink! They were supposed to be a stocking stuffer for my husband! :(

Peelers are fine, but the description says four peelers in Aqua blue, blue, purple and green. Four peelers, four colors, combined with "and." That statement should mean one of each.I got four pink ones, which wasn't even a color listed. They will work, but it wasn't what was described and wasn't what I wanted.

Works for the purpose

Very disappointed with the quality. I used to sell Tupperware and these citrus peelers don't come close to the quality of the older ones. I am surprised Tupperware allows their name on them!!!

These orange peelers have a very tiny tooth; it doesn't dig into the orange far enough to be useful. My old one has a tooth that is twice as deep, and it worked much better.

This product sort of does what it says it will. It still makes peeling an orange messy, which was what I had hoped to avoid.

Doesn't cut deep enough.

I purchased these as I had used these in the past and they were good for peeling oranges. Although these look exactly like what I had before, they do not pierce the skin of the orange deeply enough to be able to take the skin off. Ended up having to use a knife. I bought three different kinds of peelers at Amazon, but none performed as well as ones made in years past due to the shallow cutting point not making it through the orange skins.

A different style was sent, not sure I like the new style, old one in picture works better, but they will do for now. Prefer to get what is pictured in a post.

Blade is short and barely cuts through more than a mandarine orange. Got them for the child in hope it would assist him with making his own snacks, but it barely slices the skin on anything larger than a 2in or so orange.

They are not as pictured. They came in a rather muddy orange color.

Second time i have ordered these. Each time i was expecting the color i wanted and ended up with pink each time. Totally misrepresenting the product. Personal preference and after all, i am the one buying it. shouldn't i get what i want. I hate pink.

Paid for them and needed for an event then get an email saying they weren't available.

I requested to return these items and the seller refused. They do not work like the older Tupperware ones used to!!!

I found this to be about as useful as wet noodle when peeling any kind of citrus fruit. It is a cheesy piece of plastic, with no sharp edge or purposeful design as far as I can tell. MUCH better manual citrus peelers out there.

This is a smaller, cheap imitation of two better ones that I got at a hardware store. These were mailed from China. If you have a thin skin orange, the cutter will work. But, if it's a thick skin the cutter isn't long/deep enough to make it easy to peel off the orange rind. You'll have to use a knife and still won't be happy. Also, the front portion tends to dig into the orange skin and slows you down.

First off, I ordered the 6-pack and got a single. I didn't pursue getting the rest, since the little plastic blade broke almost immediately. I'm a third grade teacher, so I thought this would be perfect for my classroom. It didn't last 1/2 hour. It worked great before it broke, though.

I waited two months for delivery of this product. I was quite disappointed when they came. I already have one of these gizmos and couldn't help but compare them when they arrived. These things were flimsy, cheaply-made and broke upon first use. What a waste of time and money!

Good idea. Problem - simply does not work. I'm glad I didn't pay too much.It scores the peel ,but does not go deep enough to actually peel it, caca.
