I wanted something I could store in my truck as an extra holster (I usually wear a Blackhawk serpa holster) and love the fact that not only is this concealable, but has a velcro retention strap. I have always been a little hesitant to wear anything without some sort of retention on it, and most IWB or conceal carry holsters have nothing. This works perfect for my glock 26. It is durable, but not bulky May 4, 2016 I wasn't too sure at first. Then I grew to really like this small holster. It works great with a compact 9mm. I leave the gun in it even when it is locked up. Perfect for what I intend to use it for. Not the best IWB option. September 27, 2014 I've only owned this holster for a few days. I immediately put my CZ RAMI in the holster and it slid in perfectly and was easy to take out. Then I put my wifes Glock 26 and it was stiff as could be, took a bit of force to get it out. So I have let that Glock sit in the holster for the few days and it is much easier to take out.The holster itself is very solidly constructed and it's great for what I plan to use it for. I think they could have done better with the clip to allow for this to be a better IWB holster.I didn't buy this holster for a IWB carry holster, it was bought for my wife to put the gun insider her purse and keep anything from getting caught up inside the trigger guard. I would not purchase this holster for the sole purpose of carrying my gun inside the waistband. April 25, 2016 I ordered 2 of these. One for my .22 and the other for my husbands 9 MM.Both of our guns fit well in these belt holsters, and they velcro strap keeps it in place really well so it is not moving around in the holster and you do not have to worry about your gun falling out of it.The strap is adjustable, and will adjust to longer gun if need be.I love that there is a place on it for an extra clip, me and my husband always carry 2 clips.The velcro straps that connect the holster to your belt have a really strong hold on them, so we do not have to worry about the velcro coming lose and falling off.This holster was a great price and is really great quality.I highly recommend this belt holster if you are looking for something simple that is not expensive!Pros:-Holds different sized hand guns-Velcro strap to go over gun to hold it in place-Pocket for extra clip-Strong holding velcro to attach holster to belt-Great quality-Great priceCons:-Me and my husband are very happy with this product, We dont have any complaints on it and have been using them daily for almost 2 months. Nice holster November 28, 2015 Really nice holster for the money. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of and construction of this product. This fit my Sig Sauer P320 compact .45 caliber almost perfectly. Just a note this is not holster for concealed carry, this goes on your belt and makes a pretty bulky rig. Very comfortable to wear but like I said it's very noticeable and not made for concealment. GOOD HOLSTER February 3, 2015 This holster is a perfect fit for a Makarov 9 X 18 pistol! The spare magazine also is a perfect fit.Unusual quality for being China made. Seems like good materials and good workmanship.Lots of Velcro, maybe a little too much, BUT you will NOT lose your weapon if it's in this holster!Looks nice as a set too. I carry left and draw right. The QR buckle is easy to open with my left hand and the draw is smooth. After a few drills I did not notice the pistol hanging on anything. If you are into quick draw look for something else as this procedure takes some time.If you need a good protective holster for for your Mak you have found it. Nice November 26, 2013 I love it for the price I paid, less then ten bucks! Looking at it, as a friend did for example, you would expect at least twenty bucks or more. It fits my SW 40 MP Shield perfectly. The spare clip pouch is a perfect fit for the clip as well. I like how the clip pouch is on the front edge of the holster this seems to make for less bulk. This holster is not a full conceal holster. I can hid it under a heavy jacket in the winter but I did not buy it for that purpose. I use this holster for the purpose of hiking and fishing in the mountains. Its not like those thick,padding holsters I have .I also like the plastic clip.it does not cut holes in my shirt when i put my seat belt on. I did have to file the sharp edges of the plastic clip with a fingernail file though.Its a softer type plastic. For $8 bucks shipped with prime free,you cant beat it.The other downfall is it is not super quick draw so, if you want it out in two seconds, it wont happen, you need four. Great bases on your needs - not great for everyone. I love it for mine. October 18, 2016 Posted by new gun user/owner:I've read and understand the different reviews. I think you have to like it based on your purpose.It is NOT an EXTERIOR holster if used as is.It is very lightweight and comfortable against skin.It is well molded.The velcro/stretch holder is good. I personally would prefer it on a little more of an angle, but it's better than most that are perfectly vertical.It fits an S&W M&P Shield 9mm perfectly - just to end of holster, no extension beyond. You could even enclose that end if desired.From a female perspective, this is a great starter for me as I get comfortable with it. - It will likely serve as a purse holster with the end inclosed...softens it but leaves it accessible in a purse without adding too much size. - As conceal carry can have some difficulties in concealment for some females, I can think of ways to use this inexpensive holster combined with customized conceal and carry methods so it is a great choice for that without wasting a lot of money on something that doesn't work for me. - I might even modify one for an ankle holster. It would be inexpensive to do, fits my weapon perfectly, has enough to hold it it place without extending my weapon beyond, and would be better than what I can find so far online as a reasonable price.I would have paid a bit more for a metal vs. plastic clip.There are a lot of good reasons for molded or custom holsters. I would say this fits certain needs but certainly not all. Good cheap holster for temporary ar light use August 4, 2016 Better quality than expected at under $10. Fits SA XD9sc great, slim profile. I always buy a cheap holster for a new gun so I can carry it for a while until i find or save up for a high quality holster. If you need a holster for temporary use or for a gun you may only carry a few times a year for higher magazine capacity, i would suggest this. If you want a long term holster, just buy a desantis sof-tuck or galco stow & go for a little more.Only knocked down to 4 stars because the clip's edges are so sharp they scratched my skin. Easily remedied with a file in 2 minutes. The retention strap is unnecessary, I just tuck it inside the holster, might cut it off soon. Great, just 1 flaw. July 12, 2016 As much as I love it, you can't just pull your weapon out. It holsters your weapon very well, with my big pistol it doesn't latch, but I don't mind that. My big issue is that I actually have to hold the holster to take the gun out. Great Holster for under 10 bucks. July 11, 2016 Just got this holster. Pretty good for under 10 dollars. Fits my Smith and Wesson 40 perfect. Probably will be the same for the 9mm.Some reviewers say the the holster can come out with the gun. I run the belt over the clip and it works great. I also like the retaining velcro strip.It can keep the gun in the holster when you are doing things where you have to bend down or squat.I think most people don't like the retaining strap on a holster. Not sure why. Maybe they think if they have to unstrap it that it will take some time to get to the gun. I think if someone is going to rob you or is going to do you harm you are not going to be warned, you won't have time to pull your firearm. They will ambush you or sneak up on you. I carry to try and protect myself and others in a life or death situation. There are many places that are gun free zone so there isn't much you can do about that. Not to worry, when Hilary Clinton gets in the white house nobody will have guns. Excellent holster for the price. February 3, 2013 I bought this for my S&W Shield 40. I bought it on a gamble and when I got it, I immediately put my Shield in to check it for sizing. It fit perfectly! The pistol's barrel didn't extend past the end of the holster and the handgrip fit perfectly as well. I put my other S&W SE40 in to see if would fit it also and it did, however the barrel did extend out of the holster an inch or so. So in other words, I functions perfectly for the Shield and almost perfectly for the full sized 40.It does fit inside your pants but the one thing I noticed is that once you take the pistol out of the holster, its somewhat clumsy to get it back while the holder is in you pants.For a cheap option, you can not beat this holster!Update: 2/212/2013I did have to return this holster because the plastic belt clip snapped off. While I do think it is made well, they need change the plastic into a metal slip and that would make this holster really outstanding. I have a a GAMO PT85 (AIRGUN) and it fits nice. Full size gun. Study construction and added PELLET magazine holder is cool. The button in on the side actually snaps off but the strap seemed to get in the way of any fast drawing. I've worked on using the latch. Seems faster too me. the Velcro strap system is really good. Good buy. Not bad for the price April 26, 2016 I got this for a sccy cpx-1. The holster is well built but what I didn't like about it was it is really hard to get a magazine in the spare mag holder. It did fit, but I had to give it a good push to get it in there, but if you have a single stack mag (mine are double stack), it should go in without a problem. Also, the strap that holds it onto your belt is shewn on the top and then has velcro down the back and a retention strap at the bottom. I was not expecting that and thought it was weird, but I think it will work just fine. Considering the price, I am happy with it. pleased overall, nice holster December 5, 2015 Not a bad holster at all. Can be put on without taking off one's belt; feels secure, material is sturdy. The retention strap is a "buckle" style (which I like, requires two fingers to unsnap and is likely more secure than a button), though there is a button on the bottom that can be unbuttoned (for better or worse) if one wishes (I actually sowed the material around the button to the holster itself, for maximum retention). The extra mag holster is nice, though snug for double stack mags (definitely fine for single stack 1911 mags). Fits all of my compact pistols very well. I am very pleased overall. Very well made for the price April 21, 2015 Very well made for the price. As far as size. i tried it with all of my pistols. sig P238, holster is too large. M&P Shield 9MM it will work with about an inch of extra barrel length left in the holster. Ruger SR9C is a perfect fit, as well as the SR22. Magazine holder is also suitable for a double stack more than a single stack but would secure either. I would use this for a range holster or if i wanted to carry my SR9C with a jacket on, its just a bit on the bulky side for summer time carry. And my impression is that this is not designed for a quick draw or anything due to the nature of the strap and clip. I would use this for instance if i was camping out and about in the woods if there was a possibility of coyote or something that i wanted to have a larger sized or caliber gun on me. But i think for my summer time carry I'd still go with an IWB for the P238 or Shield 9MM or a much smaller OWB that allowed for a quicker unholstering of the gun Great Quality, but mag pouch too tight. October 24, 2014 Great quality. After smooshing it around getting out the stiffness, it fit a Glock 26 (ultra compact semiauto 9mm) and a Chiappa 200DS snubby compact .357 revolver nicely, but snugly.Bad news is, the spare magazine pouch on top will not fit the G26 mag. It looks like it would tightly fit the WIDTH of the mag - the left to right dimension of the mag as you hold the firearm with the mag in it - if it could get in there; but it is too tight to fit the front-to-back dimension of the mag. If your familiar with these types of holsters with the spare mag pouch on top, you'll know what I'm talking about.The mag pouch also tapers to tightly so I don't know how far into the pouch it would go even if it did fit it.I got two of these and the story is the same with both.So because of the front/back dimension of mags being related to the cartridge length, it wouldn't fit a .22LR or .380 mag since they're on par with the 9mm length.At least that's my assumption.So great quality, but bad on the spare mag pouch. Will fit any belt width with hook & loop system.Found out it will also hold a full-size M&P .40 with an extra mag. For awhile I had mounted a Tactical Pistol Red Laser Sight w/Rail. Eventually, I ended up with a different holster and no laser, because the weight started to stress the double stitched seam. Besides, the laser just wasn't what I expected either.Bottom Line - This is great for Airsoft, Pellet or BB, but not as a permanent solution to a full-size handgun. It was very inexpensive, so I wasn't expecting it to be extra durable. The clip is made of plastic, and it barely grips. So, when you try to pull your gun from the holster, sometimes the entire holster will come off. Not good, if you're in a situation where you need your gun right away. Otherwise, you get what you pay for. Good August 8, 2016 First and foremost, it gets the job done! It sucessfully conceal carries my handgun! However, the clip is plastic and many reviews say it is flimzy. They are correct, it is, but if you are wearing a belt and the clip is under the belt (clip over pants, belt over clip), that holds it so much better and adds more protection to the clip from breaking. Held the revolver fine and concealed it...though the comfort to wear and ability to draw the revolver is limited. The clip on the holster is kind of bulky and catches easily which is rather annoying. In the end I went and got a different holster. This is a inexpensive holster and does the job if you need to just carry your revolver and never plan on using it. Not practical December 19, 2015 It does work as it says it will but I will need to invest in something better. Access to the gun is not easy once it is in this holster and on you. The Velcro strap does well at keeping the gun in and that is the problem. It is hard to get the gun out with the strap and the fact the the sides of this holster cover pretty much the entire gun giving you nothing to get your hand on when going for it. If you are looking to just have the sight of being armed with out being able to use it effectively then this is for you. Decently made. Would be better without velcro strap. February 2, 2013 I bought this item to carry my weapon (Taurus TCP) in the waistband off duty. Price was good and build quality is decent. The velcro strap is not the easiest to manipulate. The holster was recommended for my weapon but is quite a bit bigger than it should be. If you are buying this for an Ruger LCP, Taurus TCP, KelTec P-3AT or anything similar look at other options. This holster is better suited for 9mm compacts like the Ruger LC9. One thing I would change with this holster is the velcro strap. It is a very airsoft-like quality holster, but for 10 bucks? heck ya. works well October 21, 2013 I like the holster but for a few things....the velcro strap that you pass your belt through is hard to get your belt through! You have to completely pull the velcro apart to place the holster onto your belt. However once on your belt its secure! Another problem is the velcro rubs against the belt damaging the finish. A problem if you wear it on a leather belt. Lastly the adjustable strap that holds the weapon in the holster slips. All these are easy fixes. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. OK general medium duty holster February 14, 2012 Not suitable for conceal-carry, at least not for a bigger gun. I'm using a .45 compact Colt Officers and like all belt holsters it's too bulky of a package to conceal. Maybe a smaller version is more concealable. Furthermore, I'm finding a separate belt is needed as this one pulls down too hard on my pants belt. So for me, this holster will be used on the gun range and for open carry around my property. My gun sits rather deep in this holster just as the picture of it shows. This makes it a very secure hold. On the positive side it is lightweight yet stays open without the gun. The retention clip releases easily and the draw is smooth. Carrying a SA 'cocked & locked' works fine. It has a nice pouch for one magazine and the price is good. On the negative side, two things: The retention strap is attached inside the holster which prevents returning the gun with one hand (pushes the strap down inside with the gun). Unfortunately the very first time I used it the gun slipped up off the waistband and fell out. Something Missing September 20, 2012 This holster is well made, one of the best nylon inside the waistband I have purchased and it is perfect for a small 9mm auto like a Kel-Tec, Ruger, Khar, etc. The nylon material is heavy duty, retains its shape well and the Velcro retaining strap is elastic for a secure fit. The problem is that the plastic belt clip has no "hook" at the bottom (on the inside) to secure it to your belt. Consequently, more often than not, when you draw your pistol expect the holster to come with it. It also has a snap that would be faster but it doesn't have a pull tab to grab onto. Also, the the other end of the retention retention strap is attached to the INSIDE of the holster and gets in the way of the draw and re-holster. Could get caught in the trigger. BAD! Another thing is the belt "loop". It is a large velcro strap that must be completely opened to put onto belt. It's secure but a hassle. Finally the mag holder is way too small for double stack mags. It's tight on my single stack mags. OK as range holster and will fit a my Ruger SR9 as well as MY CZ 75B and some others but I tuck the retention strap into the mag pouch to keep it out of the way. Would not buy again. build quality is pool, not much ergonomic features built ... Not very well made October 15, 2014 The holster itself seemed ok, but the belt clip is Velcro'd on and the Velcro is sewn into the holster so not 45 min into wearing it the clip ripped off. Since that is the whole point of having a belt holster, it didn't really do it's job. Fortunatly I'm a pretty good imaginer, and was able to make my own plastic belt clip that is made into the holster. I probably wouldn't recoomend this to anyone just because it tore up so quickly and easily. However, it does contain, protect and present the pistol and with patient adjustment and fit you'll make it work. Very comfortable. But I'm very disappointed. This holster is dangerous and could get you arrested depending on your location April 24, 2016 I purchased this holster based on the relatively good reviews. I have to admit, I'm confused why it has a four star rating. This holster has a serious design flaw that would be easy for the manufacture to fix and it would be a good holster. Let me explain:1) 99.9% of the time, the holster comes off with the gun when drawing the gun. That could get you killed if you were trying to use your weapon for self defense. I will explain a possible fix later in my review..2) The holster works loose when sitting or moving up and down causing your pistol to fall on the ground. In some locations, it is against the law for your concealed weapon to show. If it falls out in public you could be arrested and prosecuted. Check your local laws. I would imagine the MFG could have some serious liability problems with this holster.3) The problem is the clip. The clip is designed to go over the waste band, but under the belt, or the belt is supposed to be outside the clip. The problem is that the lip on the click that is meant to keep the holster from coming off when you draw is too small and ramped. The result is the holder comes off the with the gun almost every time it is drawn.I will be returning mine as defective.Update: 12/22/16I retried this holster with a much smaller weapon. An M&P shield. The holster still comes off with the weapon when its drawn. A very, very dangerous thing. I don't recommend this holster with any weapon of any kind. The belt that holds the gun in position will not stay secure in the belt holder that it loops around, not the clasp itself. You can snap it in, then push the belt completely loose with your finger. Produced visible scratches on new Glock 43! January 21, 2016 Not recommended!!! There is an exposed metal rivet inside the holster that holds on the belt loop. I did not notice the exposed rivet until I noticed scratches on the slide of the brand new pistol, after holstering. I supposed the rivet could be covered in some way to protect the finish, but knowing that beforehand would have saved me from dealing with the scratches. One Star September 19, 2014 Deployed to Afghanistan with this. It started to unravel within a week. Not worth the money.
