Simple, inexpensive holster that works well.
June 10, 2017
I actually remove the clip and use this as a pocket holster for my S&W J-frame revolvers. It's thinner than most pocket holsters, and it weighs almost nothing so it's more comfortable for all-day carry. But it still provides good protection for the gun, with complete coverage around the trigger and trigger guard, and no excess material above that would interfere with a good grip when drawing from a pocket.
LH Uncle Mike's Size 10 Inside-The-Pant Holster, Black 89102
April 10, 2017
LH Uncle Mike's Size 10 Inside-The-Pant Holster, Black 89102I am very happy with the fit and hold of this holster when using it with the Taurus TCP PT738 .380ACP. It does fit really snug at first but after leaving it in the holster for a week or two it forms perfectly. It very little wasted space, it is by far the best one I have found as far as minimal real estate. It is soft against my back and feels very comfortable! It feels like a synthetic suede or a diving suit material almost, I'm not sure but it feels great. The clip holds the holster in place very solid when withdrawing the weapon, it is a soft holster so putting it back in does require a little more effort than a kydex or leather holster, but it is more comfortable and it is more important to me how fast I can draw my weapon rather than how fast I can holster it. The reason is since it is a soft holster and in your pants it has to be nudged in then shoved down to open the soft holster(I hope that makes sense?). I will leave a couple pics just to show how well it works for the TCP. It really is the perfect holster for me and I hope you enjoy it too. Just in case anyone wants to know the rubber grip is a Pachmayr Item #05176 & the magazine extension is the Garrison Grip Extension 1.25" Item #799471451526 2pk. My magazine was made in ITALY, so the Mec-Gar MGPT7386B is identical to the stock magazine, only difference is the carrier is blue plastic instead of red but is identical and performs perfectly, my oem stock magazine from Taurus even says Mec-Gar on it!***IMPORTANT***If you plan to use this as a middle of the back in the pants holster make sure you buy the left handed holster 89102, I bought the right handed one first, you know, because I'm right handed and all? And had to buy this one to make it work the way I wanted it to.
Love this holster
September 10, 2016
Love this holster. Have tried it out for a couple months now and i love it. I use a Ruger 1911 with this holster and its fantastic. Highly recommend getting this if you want a sleek look to your defensive carry.I realize how important a good review is to a buyer. I give honest and heart felt reviews on products that a purchase and receive. I base most of my purchases on reviews so I understand that it is fair to be completely honest on reviews. That being said I hope this review will help a buyer with his or her decision to buy or not buy this product.
Size 16 is great for Glock 42.
March 24, 2016
This holster is a great grab-and-go option for concealed carry for the Glock 42. It's good for putting the gun in and then, for example, putting it in a dedicated pocket in a bag if you're doing off-body carry. It's a good option for inside the waistband carry for a Glock 42 - not perfect, but it's a decent option. In warm weather, if you want to carry on-body and have it really be concealed, it's difficult. There are no perfect ways to do it. But this is pretty good and comfortable. Probably best for front cross-draw - strong side hip with just a T-shirt, everything prints. Everything. And it is comfortable on the body and adds minimal space to your profile. This is concealed-carry - we're not real worried about retention here. Get a Clipdraw with one of these and you're doing as well as you can for truly concealable, on-body carry options for a Glock 42.
Excellent value- a no-brainer for the price
December 2, 2015
Got this holster for a Walther PPS, and it fits like a glove. Fit is snug and feels secure, but not too tight. As far as I could tell, it didnt move at all over the course of a day. Where it sits on the waist, it's a pretty good height- easily accessible- and the holster can be moved across your belt line pretty easily- especially nice for transitioning to a standing position or sitting position (such as in a car). Definitely comfortable. It's pretty thin for what it is, thick enough to put any worries of durability to rest. Can't beat it for the price! Highly recommended.
Thin Is In
February 2, 2013
I was looking for an IWB holster and came across a BLACKHAWK size 5 nylon holster that was thin, held to my belt well, allowed for a quick draw. This was fab. I have a 42in waist and can carry strong side or cross draw. It is thin enough to allow me to conceal with just my normal shirts. No need to buy extra bulky shirts.Cons: reholstering can be a bit tricky, but hey, you draw your gun to shoot, right? All the rounds. So not an issue for me.One holster is not enough for all situations, but for me to carry with my regular T-shirt out and no print, it works great!(BTW, Uncle MIke's sells the same BLACKHAWK under its brand name)PSS...I just now read some of the negative reviews of this product.....keep in mind it is made out of nylon, not leather. Ergo, it is thin, but not flimsy. I can load my Glock 26 into it quite comfortably, keep it hidden and pull the gun with minimal effort should the stich present itself. Yeah, I also have a Shepard Leather large SERPA holster. I like it as well, but sometimes it is too much. The simplicity of this BLACKHAWK/UNCLE MIKE puppy makes me wear it more frequently. And is this not the purpose of conceal?BTW, it IS inexpensive, but is a great price performer........I have holsters that cost $50 that I never use.

February 24, 2017
great holster, fits my sdve 9 perfect love that its got the pouch for the extra mag as well. i like the buckle and really like the quick release snap, i looked at holsters for a while and this one was half the price of anything equivalent. the only down side is that i put a flashlight on the gun and it doesn't fit in the holster with the light on... kind of a drag but not a deal breaker by any means
Great quality, simple, affordable!
April 25, 2016
I ordered 2 of these. One for my .22 and the other for my husbands 9 MM.Both of our guns fit well in these belt holsters, and they velcro strap keeps it in place really well so it is not moving around in the holster and you do not have to worry about your gun falling out of it.The strap is adjustable, and will adjust to longer gun if need be.I love that there is a place on it for an extra clip, me and my husband always carry 2 clips. The velcro straps that connect the holster to your belt have a really strong hold on them, so we do not have to worry about the velcro coming lose and falling off. This holster was a great price and is really great quality.I highly recommend this belt holster if you are looking for something simple that is not expensive!Pros:-Holds different sized hand guns-Velcro strap to go over gun to hold it in place-Pocket for extra clip-Strong holding velcro to attach holster to belt-Great quality-Great priceCons:-Me and my husband are very happy with this product, We dont have any complaints on it and have been using them daily for almost 2 months.
Nice holster
November 28, 2015
Really nice holster for the money. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of and construction of this product. This fit my Sig Sauer P320 compact .45 caliber almost perfectly. Just a note this is not holster for concealed carry, this goes on your belt and makes a pretty bulky rig. Very comfortable to wear but like I said it's very noticeable and not made for concealment.

GOOD HOLSTER
February 3, 2015
This holster is a perfect fit for a Makarov 9 X 18 pistol! The spare magazine also is a perfect fit.Unusual quality for being China made. Seems like good materials and good workmanship.Lots of Velcro, maybe a little too much, BUT you will NOT lose your weapon if it's in this holster!Looks nice as a set too. I carry left and draw right. The QR buckle is easy to open with my left hand and the draw is smooth. After a few drills I did not notice the pistol hanging on anything. If you are into quick draw look for something else as this procedure takes some time.If you need a good protective holster for for your Mak you have found it.
Nice
November 26, 2013
I love it for the price I paid, less then ten bucks! Looking at it, as a friend did for example, you would expect at least twenty bucks or more. It fits my SW 40 MP Shield perfectly. The spare clip pouch is a perfect fit for the clip as well. I like how the clip pouch is on the front edge of the holster this seems to make for less bulk. This holster is not a full conceal holster. I can hid it under a heavy jacket in the winter but I did not buy it for that purpose. I use this holster for the purpose of hiking and fishing in the mountains. It keeps the gun out of my way and up tight against my waist.

Comfy fit
September 23, 2017
My 2nd, after wearing out the 1st. Comfy feel against bare skin is its main plus for me. The belt latch clip mechanism needs a little help in engineering as it not always retains well enuf', Price is right tho' as a good trade off
Nice, inexpensive holster.
April 7, 2017
I bought it for my H&R .22 cal. double action revolver with a 3.5" barrel, after researching the type of holster I would need for this not-so-common pistol on the Uncle Mike's web site. Fit is good, and it is comfortable inside the waist. The only reason it gets just a 4 star rating, is because the style number that I input on the original search, and the resulting image shown, is for a holster WITHOUT a retention strap. When completing the order however, the order is confirmed as a holster with a retention strap and that is what I got...a little bit confusing, plus I got an item that I did not want. Due to the inexpensive price, I opted to keep it and cut off the retention strap, rather than going through the hassle of returning it. The attached photo is of the holster with the retention strap removed.
Nice holster
March 24, 2017
Very nice holster but the description stated certain guns would fit this holster but it didn't. It was much too large. Had to return and order size one. Hope that one fits. Fingers crossed.UPDATE:Received the size 1 holster today as promised. Great fit. Great holster. Would recommend.
Out of the package I like the material it's made of
February 18, 2017
I just received this today 2-18-17, I purchased size #12 LEFT hand item number 89122. Out of the package I like the material it's made of, it fits my Taurus PT111 G2 MILLENNIUM very well. As others stated it does sit high on the waistband, but I don't feel this will be a huge issue. It feels comfortable against the body while sitting and standing. It feels like I can draw easily without any snags. I will update my review in a few months after I've used it more*UPDATE*4-19-17 I've had the size #12 LEFT for two months now and I'm extremely happy with it. I did notice, as some mentioned, if you're doing a lot of bending it's not ideal for those situations as it can work the pistol up in the holster. (I suspect if I sewed an elastic cord on it, that would solve that problem)I liked this holster so much I ordered the size #15 LEFT for my Ruger SR9 I'll add to this review after I've had a chance to use it for a while. First impressions for it are I like it as well as the other one, however because the pistol is a larger frame it will take some getting used to while sitting and it prints under my t-shirt more than the other one. It will work better in the winter when heavier clothes are worn. That said, with a looser shirt it's still quite concealed.
Performs well but not the softest material available:
December 9, 2016
I'm happy with this holster and have no complaints with it. However, once I tried on the same type holster from Blackhawk Serpa... I bought that one so I could return this one. I compared them and the size and cut were identical. So why switch? Fit & finish. The rubbery swede material on the outside felt fine on Uncle Mike's but was much softer and high-end feeling on the Serpa. It was slicker and just nicer to my skin. Some people may feel the opposite but for basically the same price I choose Serpa. It seems Serpa Inside the Pants holster is actually a tiny bit cheaper. Check the sizing charts because they differ. If Serpa was 30% more expensive (or more) I would probably recommend Uncle Mike's because they are so close to identical it's not a big deal. If this were an outside the waistband holster I wouldn't have cared, but rubbing on my tender skin squeezed tight by a belt, I figure a little extra comfort can't hurt. Uncle Mike's may have found the best material available when you consider longevity vs comfort, but that's not really what it felt like to me. Anyway, if you have Uncle Mike's (like I do for other guns) then be happy with your purchase. If not, try Serpa for a change of scenery.
Not bad but not great.
January 24, 2015
This isn't a bad holster. I like that it's soft next to your skin + the neoprene material wont cause holster wear marks like leather. The plastic clip works pretty good to keep it secured to your belt but beware that if you wear it in the small of your back there is a part of the clip that sticks out enough that it damaged the leather seat back in my truck, I ended up grinding it off. The Uncle Mike's sizing chart leaves a lot to be desired. Size 1 fits the Glock 42, Ruger LC9 and the Ruger LC380 very good.

Good for storage in a range bag
March 8, 2017
Decent holster. Not the fastest draw but a sound sheath for your weapon. Good for storage in a range bag. I have a a GAMO PT85 (AIRGUN) and it fits nice. Full size gun. Study construction and added PELLET magazine holder is cool. The button in on the side actually snaps off but the strap seemed to get in the way of any fast drawing. I've worked on using the latch. Seems faster too me. the Velcro strap system is really good. Good buy.
Not bad for the price
April 26, 2016
I got this for a sccy cpx-1. The holster is well built but what I didn't like about it was it is really hard to get a magazine in the spare mag holder. It did fit, but I had to give it a good push to get it in there, but if you have a single stack mag (mine are double stack), it should go in without a problem. Also, the strap that holds it onto your belt is shewn on the top and then has velcro down the back and a retention strap at the bottom. I was not expecting that and thought it was weird, but I think it will work just fine. Considering the price, I am happy with it.
pleased overall, nice holster
December 5, 2015
Not a bad holster at all. Can be put on without taking off one's belt; feels secure, material is sturdy. The retention strap is a "buckle" style (which I like, requires two fingers to unsnap and is likely more secure than a button), though there is a button on the bottom that can be unbuttoned (for better or worse) if one wishes (I actually sowed the material around the button to the holster itself, for maximum retention). The extra mag holster is nice, though snug for double stack mags (definitely fine for single stack 1911 mags). Fits all of my compact pistols very well. I am very pleased overall.
Very well made for the price
April 21, 2015
Very well made for the price. As far as size. i tried it with all of my pistols. sig P238, holster is too large. M&P Shield 9MM it will work with about an inch of extra barrel length left in the holster. Ruger SR9C is a perfect fit, as well as the SR22. Magazine holder is also suitable for a double stack more than a single stack but would secure either. I would use this for a range holster or if i wanted to carry my SR9C with a jacket on, its just a bit on the bulky side for summer time carry. And my impression is that this is not designed for a quick draw or anything due to the nature of the strap and clip. I would use this for instance if i was camping out and about in the woods if there was a possibility of coyote or something that i wanted to have a larger sized or caliber gun on me. But i think for my summer time carry I'd still go with an IWB for the P238 or Shield 9MM or a much smaller OWB that allowed for a quicker unholstering of the gun
Great Quality, but mag pouch too tight.
October 24, 2014
Great quality. After smooshing it around getting out the stiffness, it fit a Glock 26 (ultra compact semiauto 9mm) and a Chiappa 200DS snubby compact .357 revolver nicely, but snugly.Bad news is, the spare magazine pouch on top will not fit the G26 mag. It looks like it would tightly fit the WIDTH of the mag - the left to right dimension of the mag as you hold the firearm with the mag in it - if it could get in there; but it is too tight to fit the front-to-back dimension of the mag. If your familiar with these types of holsters with the spare mag pouch on top, you'll know what I'm talking about. The mag pouch also tapers to tightly so I don't know how far into the pouch it would go even if it did fit it.I got two of these and the story is the same with both.So because of the front/back dimension of mags being related to the cartridge length, it wouldn't fit a .22LR or .380 mag since they're on par with the 9mm length. At least that's my assumption. So great quality, but bad on the spare mag pouch.
UTG Deluxe Commando Belt Holster - Good for Open Carry
December 2, 2011
Great light-weight holster with mag pouch.Bought this originally for a Smith & Wesson M&P BB Pistol Black Finish Semi-Auto CO2 Md: 2255050 and a Crosman Under The Barrel Laser Sight fits 1? Weaver® rails.. The Magazine Pouch will hold two Crosman 2 Pk Spare Clips for C11, C21 and C31 BB Air Pistols. Fully adjustable strap with snap and quick release buckle. Will fit any belt width with hook & loop system.Found out it will also hold a full-size M&P .40 with an extra mag. For awhile I had mounted a Tactical Pistol Red Laser Sight w/Rail. Eventually, I ended up with a different holster and no laser, because the weight started to stress the double stitched seam. Besides, the laser just wasn't what I expected either.Bottom Line - This is great for Airsoft, Pellet or BB, but not as a permanent solution to a full-size handgun. Can't beat the price.

always like uncle mikes holsters, wish the sizing chart was more clear, just recieved my second holster today, the belt clip piece is not like the picture, the one on the actual holster is canted, I always prefer the belt clip straight up and down so that you can carry on either side, not the case anymore with this particular holster.
Fairly decent holster, but just be cautious
March 2, 2017
Fairly decent holster, but know what you're going to use it for. It's a very comfortable holster and feels great, but beware that if you carry at 4 or 6 o clock position, it'll constantly feel like it's going to fall out. Appendix carry does feel a bit better and doesn't feel like it's constantly about to fall, but there'd be no way I could easily re-holster like with a kydex. It also does feel like my gun is sliding away from where it's covering the trigger, so that does make me really nervous, even though I'm used to my gun. Just a few things to consider.
Fill a purpose
January 13, 2017
These Holsters do the Job. Not enough coverage for my 5" 1911-A2, get pinched by the Hammer & Thumb Safety once in awhile. However they can be put anywhere on the belt makes it nice.
It's cheap and mostly does what it should but they're are far better options.
January 12, 2017
I'll give it 3 stars because if the price. My "go to" holster is the Alien Gear iwb. Granted the AG is 5 times as expensive and I had to wait a month to get it but it's far superior in every way. This is a good holster for the guy who occasionally concealed carries and doesn't want to spend a lot of money. It's kinda flimsy and the belt hook doesn't do a great job of keeping it your pants. On several occasions I've had the gun pull out of my pants and fall to the ground. I was either working around the yard or on the car when this happened so I think I'm pushing the limits of its design. Its comfortable enough and seems like it will last awhile but if your looking for an everyday CC holster, look elsewhere.
It is what it is...
April 29, 2016
5 stars minus 1 star for the lousy clip and minus another star for how hard it is to reholster. The cheap plastic clip is so soft that the holster shifts when you bend or just move around. The only plus to the clip is that the holster is easy to take off. It practically falls off.Reholstering is almost impossible to do one handed. It is relatively comfortable to wear. The neoprene is soft enough against your skin. The sizing per the chart is poor. Pick your holster size based on barrel length not necessarily the model recommendation. My CZ P07 is about the size of a Glock 19. The "square" shape of the trigger guard gets hung up when trying to reholster. Ordering one size larger will probably do it for me.If your firearm is not dehoned and has sharp angles, I can see the neoprene wearing in those areas.Just a FYI, Blackhawk makes the identical holster under their name if your size is sold out.Would I recommend this? Yes, because how can you go wrong for $13 shipped. It's not worth any more than that.
rides a little high
August 5, 2014
I have used one of these for years (a different size) on my 4" XD, and its been great. I bought this size 1 for my new bersa thunder 380. It fits into the holster just fine, but the clip is low and the gun rides really high in my waistband. Kind of defeats the purpose of carrying a smaller gun if its going to stick out just as much as a full frame. Plus it doesn't feel as secured since it rides so high. Also the clip is noticeably thinner and flimsier than my older one. Guess they are cutting corners. I'll probably keep this i guess, but it won't be used for daily carry.

Got it for a full sized 9mm Smith and Wesson. Gun fits good, but the magazine would not fit in a million years. Might be good to put a few latex gloves in.
Practical and functional.
February 10, 2015
Very sturdy and lightweight.It.s a little big for my Beretta 380 but I can still get the pistol in and out easily enough.I would never want to be caught in a true need for rapid action. The hold down strap is not east to unlatch or unsnap .Maybe with more use it would work easier but I also feel secure that the gun isn't go to jump out of the holster if I was running..It is a good holster for the money.
Airsoft quality, but depends on what youre using it for
September 2, 2014
I do not own this, I bought it for my father in law that just wanted something really cheap to keep his 1911 in in the closet. he likes it because it holds the gun amd a mag just fine. I wouldn't use this in any REAL use, other than maybe just wearing it at a shooting range, or keeping a gun in it in the closet. It is a very airsoft-like quality holster, but for 10 bucks? heck ya.
works well
October 21, 2013
I like the holster but for a few things....the velcro strap that you pass your belt through is hard to get your belt through! You have to completely pull the velcro apart to place the holster onto your belt. However once on your belt its secure! Another problem is the velcro rubs against the belt damaging the finish. A problem if you wear it on a leather belt. Lastly the adjustable strap that holds the weapon in the holster slips. All these are easy fixes. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.
OK general medium duty holster
February 14, 2012
Not suitable for conceal-carry, at least not for a bigger gun. I'm using a .45 compact Colt Officers and like all belt holsters it's too bulky of a package to conceal. Maybe a smaller version is more concealable. Furthermore, I'm finding a separate belt is needed as this one pulls down too hard on my pants belt. So for me, this holster will be used on the gun range and for open carry around my property. My gun sits rather deep in this holster just as the picture of it shows. This makes it a very secure hold. On the positive side it is lightweight yet stays open without the gun. The retention clip releases easily and the draw is smooth. Carrying a SA 'cocked & locked' works fine. It has a nice pouch for one magazine and the price is good. On the negative side, two things: The retention strap is attached inside the holster which prevents returning the gun with one hand (pushes the strap down inside with the gun). Also the plastic clip on the retention strap cannot be closed easily with one hand making this a two-handed holster in the return functionality.

You get what you pay for
July 18, 2017
Its an okay holster that I attempted use for my Taurus PT92. As a IWB holster it does a decent job concealing and protecting your body from the gabbing from the weapon into your side. However, the reason I quickly stopped using this holster is it's ability to stay in place. Often I would feel as if my weapon was not in the proper placement. Upon inspection, I found that the clip doesn't hold onto the belt properly and would twist. Had I not noticed it would have eventually fallen off and slid down my leg. A holster must be not only comfortable, but also reliable. I will not recommend, nor will I ever purchase again, an Uncle Mike's holster. I've learned my lesson in buying cheap holsters.

plastic belt clip is flimsy. the center mass of the handgun is above the belt line and the gun works itself up and out. I tried 4 different sizes of these holsters. every one had the same problem for me, the gun fell out onto the ground. Very disappointed because I like the other Uncle Mike products I have bought in the past. now I just use these as pocket holsters with mixed results.

I wouldn't use this for carrying. I did set it up in my truck to hold my pistol for easy access. Works fine for that. I removed the plastic clip by cutting the stitches and screwed it to the console.
Revolver maybe other semi auto- meh
March 18, 2017
The holster fit is ok. It's comfortable and fits inside your pants ok. The issue is the clip. It's a very flimsy plastic that does not grip your waist band or belt and every time, I mean 10 of 10 tries I draw the weapon and the holster comes with it. Nothin I did other than have the gun hang half way out addressed the issue. I have a cheapo inside the pant holster with a metal clip and that POS stays put....just the shape of the thing is square and the pistol all but disappears in it. Anyway both the Blackhawk and their Uncle Mike's are plagued with flimsy clips. I have both. Also these do not accommodate weapon accessories like very small lasers mounted under the barrel (Viridian). G19 with accessories -nope.
Poor clip design, slips off belt or pants when bending
February 4, 2017
This product was recommended to me by a salesman so I ordered from Amazon. I was really excited because it's a snug fit and soft material so it isn't scratchy against your skin when wearing inside the waistband. Problem is that the clip is cheap flexible plastic so it doesn't clip well and slides right off when you bend at the waist. I thought maybe it was my body type but my boyfriend bought the same holster (different size for a different gun) and he is very tall and slim and has the same issue. If it had a good quality metal clip that secures to your belt or clothing then it would be a great product. 5* to the seller who refunded no issue. Great customer service there.
Buy something safer
August 22, 2016
This holster came recommended on several websites so I decided to give one a try for my Taurus 709 slim. The case is thin and soft so some may find it comfortable for IWB carry. It conceals well. But it really won't protect the trigger, as it is really just a wrap unfit for any particular model. If too tight what is to prevent it from getting stuck while drawing? And if too loose it will fall out. Also the plastic clip seems very cheap and easily breakable. If you decide on getting a 10 dollar holster expect to get what you pay for. I think this is one of those things of extreme importance however and it's probably a good idea to spend a bit more. For the 709 I am impressed with a paddle model by Fobus, specifically moulded for my gun plus a few others of similar dimensions. A tough and yet flexible plastic holster featuring adjustable retention. Current price is $23 right here on Amazon. It doesn't hide quite as well but that's kind of because it isn't a nylon sock like this useless thing by Uncle Mike's.

Retention strap is crap. Difficult to undo plastic clip in a hurry

Retention strap is crap. Difficult to undo plastic clip in a hurry. It also has a snap that would be faster but it doesn't have a pull tab to grab onto. Also, the the other end of the retention retention strap is attached to the INSIDE of the holster and gets in the way of the draw and re-holster. Could get caught in the trigger. BAD! Another thing is the belt "loop". It is a large velcro strap that must be completely opened to put onto belt. It's secure but a hassle. Finally the mag holder is way too small for double stack mags. It's tight on my single stack mags. OK as range holster and will fit a my Ruger SR9 as well as MY CZ 75B and some others but I tuck the retention strap into the mag pouch to keep it out of the way. Would not buy again.

build quality is pool, not much ergonomic features built into it.My CZ can fit ok, but there is no way I can quickly unbutton it in an emergency situation.
Not very well made
October 15, 2014
The holster itself seemed ok, but the belt clip is Velcro'd on and the Velcro is sewn into the holster so not 45 min into wearing it the clip ripped off. Since that is the whole point of having a belt holster, it didn't really do it's job. Fortunatly I'm a pretty good imaginer, and was able to make my own plastic belt clip that is made into the holster. I probably wouldn't recoomend this to anyone just because it tore up so quickly and easily.
OK but not for quick release

The holster is a bit clumsy to use, hard to extract weapon and tentative in it's carry security. However, it does contain, protect and present the pistol and with patient adjustment and fit you'll make it work. Really presents a case for taking your pistol to a gun shop and trying the holsters up close and personal.

Couldn't possibly be more disappointed. I have beer coozies that are far sturdier

Couldn't possibly be more disappointed. I have beer coozies that are far sturdier. The plastic clip on this wouldn't even keep a squirt gun secure on your belt. I'd feel cheated even if I bought it at the dollar store. Can't believe this has good reviews.
Holster falls out when I bend over.
February 9, 2017
The belt clip on this holster is very weak. While wearing the holster around the house bending over has caused the holster to fall out. I am not a HUGE guy, but I have a dad bod that causes the holster to squeeze out. I do not recommend this holster. A metal clip and under hook may help the design. Perhaps I'll review again once I've lost a few pounds. I'd save your money for a better holster if you are serious about carrying.
Clip too low. Gun is very unbalanced and feels like it will fall out.

This new Uncle Mike's with the plastic clip does not hold the gun very well. I have one for a Glock 27, and the gun feels like it will fall out of the holster. The clip is attached too low in the holster, making the gun too high above the belt. I used this holster twice, and both times the gun feels like it is too loose and will fall out. Never used it again.I have an old Uncle Mike's with a metal clip that I use for a Beretta .380, and that one is excellent. Holds the gun very snug. I have used that one for many years and I love it.
Keep looking for alternatives.

Better ones out there. Very comfortable fit. Big downside is that walking about in public thinking I was dutifully carrying concealed. The firearm (S&W M&P) is always feels like it is going fall out. Weight distribution is heavier above belt line.
Not for a G19
July 14, 2015
Bought for a Glock 19, size 16. Package says it's for a Glock 19. My G19 was too big, extended way out of the holster. There was also zero tension to hold the weapon in place. It was like a putting it in a zip lock bag. When I did fit it the clip on the holster was so high that over half the weapon was above my belt line. This holster may be fantastic for other weapons, but size 16 for a Glock 19 is not correct. The package also says size it's made for 3.25-3.75" barrels, well the G19 is 4". I'm not sure why this is the recommended size. This holster is on its way back.
Dangerously insecure!!!!!!
November 7, 2013
A major problem makes it unusable!! The clip, absolutely DOES NOT WORK !!!!!! The holster has twice allowed the gun ( Sig 230 ) to fall onto the floor while still in the holster. Fortunatly the people around me were " unobserant " so I was able to retrieve the gun unnoticed. The clip has no strength and the belt gripping edge is smooth and rounded. If I could give it a " minus " rating I would, I'm very dissappointed in Uncle Mikes. Long ago these clips were metal and worked well but would cut any upholstery you sat aginst. Then along came the plastic, a good move but this is a miserable design. How hard would it be to design the clip stronger and with a hook to prevent inadvertent release???? So it would cost a dollar or two more, that's way better than hearing a " thunk " and seeing your piece on the floor and having to cover it with your foot while in line at the resturant.

Don't waste your time or money
June 11, 2017
Don't waste your money, even if it is only 9 bucks. The belt that holds the gun in position will not stay secure in the belt holder that it loops around, not the clasp itself. You can snap it in, then push the belt completely loose with your finger. Also, the magazine holder does not even hold a small single cartridge.

Strap broke on it
Button broke first time using

Got this today, put my pistol in it for the first time, went to tighten the strap and the button broke. Disappointing.
Not recommended!!! Produced visible scratches on new Glock 43!
January 21, 2016
Not recommended!!! There is an exposed metal rivet inside the holster that holds on the belt loop. I did not notice the exposed rivet until I noticed scratches on the slide of the brand new pistol, after holstering. I supposed the rivet could be covered in some way to protect the finish, but knowing that beforehand would have saved me from dealing with the scratches.

Deployed to Afghanistan with this. It started to unravel within a week. Not worth the money.
Useless Gun holster
November 8, 2013
As soon as i put this holster on my belt is was a failure from the start. It dropped by gun on the ground, i failed the pull test, the Velcro failed after two days of used. This holster is a complete waste of time and money. DONT BUY IT.
