I like both, dont get me wrong - but my last gun burned in a house fire.This one sprays thicker mixes pretty good, I had issues spraying white with my last gun but this kit works well with all colors.My only complaint is the compressor sometimes squeaks really loud for a few minutes, until you spray for about a minute. | Three StarsJuly 4, 2017 Hard to use. I loved the set at first, but outgrew it quickly.September 26, 2016 Didn't come with most of the advertised accessories, is why the lost star. I love the set, as a total beginner I feel it performs to my expectations.After a few weeks I have to say the set has been almost completely replaced. I feel I learned a lot in a short period of time and out grew this set too quickly, If I had a chance to do it all over I would buy one of the big 3 (I bought an Iwata) airbrush's, and a good quality portable contractor compressor (I bought a senco 1gal.) as the one in this set is underpowered when spraying heavily such as a base coat.For SMALL projects this set should suffice, if your looking to take your airbrushing to a professional level you may just want to pass up on this. Not as shownSeptember 22, 2016 I just received my kit and have not had a chance to use it yet. I will update this later this week or next after I have a chance to set it up and use it. There was no instructional video or color mixing wheel with the kit as labeled. The paints where Neon, I really needed the opaque. Meh. . .July 19, 2015 I liked that it had everything I needed, but the air bush itself left much to be desired. No matter what I tried it just randomly spits paint. Also haven't figured out how to use the cleaning chamber. I think I might have preferred the kind that hangs below as opposed to the gravity fed one. The air compressor overheats and doesn't stay full for very long. Maybe it would be good for crafts or something, but I was really hoping to use it for art. I will probably end up selling instead of just keeping it around. Later when I have the money, invest in something much better, like an Iwata(?). Loved it at firstApril 14, 2015 Loved it at first, but then I had issues with clogging. After just a few hours of use time the air hose started to leak around the end and then completely fell apart. | Spend the extra money on a real brushFebruary 3, 2017 I know what you are thinking looking at this airbrush because I was thinking the same thing. "I want to start airbrushing but I don't want to drop allot of money on my first system." Let my experience help you. Spend the extra money on a system.This set is absolute garbage. My wife got it for me for Christmas because I asked for it, so the fault is all my own, but if I could do it all over again I would avoid it like the plague.First, the air brushes. You never know what you are going to get out of these things. Pull the lever back a little and it may work perfectly. Then you pause to reposition , pull it back the same amount and nothing. Check to make sure its not clogged, make sure there are no bubbles in the reservoir, try again pulling the lever back that same small amount and you blast your canvas with paint.I ran the brush across a sheet of paper and the inconsistency with the line is unacceptable. Thin, skip, thin, skip, paint blast, etc...Second, and a possible reason for the first, is the compressor. It will run 100% of the time you are brushing. It can not hold any amount of air. As soon as you touch a lever it will kick on. This means that the pressure in the tank is inconsistent. You can not keep a good line or maintain a pattern with inconsistent air pressure.With the motor running constantly it will only be a matter of months, at best, before the motor stops working. Then I will have a useless compressor and some junk brushes.I wish I could return this thing but I am pretty sure they wont take it after it's been used.If you are in the market for an airbrush buy an Iwata system. It will cost more but it will also perform better and not make you get so frustrated with airbrushing that you quit. For the price and all...but it is ridiculously loud. Louder than I expected it to be :( I am pretty disappointed but will have to do since I've already invested the money. Compressor did not work to my satisficationNovember 6, 2013 I used the compressor for 20-30 mins and it just shut off, luckily it just overheated and after about an hour it worked fine again. The two gravity feed airbrushes are nice, but the third airbrush is not setup for a compressor, you will have to buy different fittings for it. I do not suggest purchasing this product if you plan on using your airbrush for an extended period of time, because the compressor will overheat incompleteMay 19, 2012 I bought this kit because it was suppose to be ready to go out of the box, but it showed up without a hose or the quick connector. because it didn't have those I had to reorder a new hose and wait for that one to get here, to start using the brush.
