I'm really impressed with the quality of these bags. I have been looking at hard shell luggage for over a year now in the stores and not wanting to buy any due to the price! I can easily say with confidence that these bags are just as nice if not nicer that the single bags that run over 100$ in the stores.The blue I ordered looked exactly like the photo and it shipped very fast! I have now used these bags on several trips both in the air and on the ground and I have not received one ding or scratch nor have I had any malfunctions thus far. The adjustable handles raise and lower beautifully with the push of a button to multiple heights (good for small kids). The wheels are quiet and extremely smooth both when standing and tilted. The two larger bags expand and still fit the flight bag size regulations. I really loved the compartments on the inside, there is a small zipper pouch, a zippered flap that separated the two halves of the bag, and the none zippered side had elastic buckles (with plastic hardware like most luggage). I think my husbands favorite feature by far is the adjustable handle, which is on the outside of the luggage as to not take up and space inside of the luggage. We searched for more bags like that and came up with nothing. These bags also come with combination locks in which you put the ends of the zipper tabs into it and set the combination to lock it. The handles so far have held up under around 50lbs of weight with no problems at all. There is no fabric on the handles to rip off, it is all plastic and metal construction. I just completed a 10 day cruise to Hawaii. The luggage held up beautifully including 6 total airplane switches.

This luggage seems like it will be fantastic. It is very lightweight. One of the best features, which the seller should emphasize more, is the fact that the telescoping handle has its own space that is molded to the outside of the suitcase. Therefore you have more space inside your suitcase because the handle is not lodged and stored in side the suitcase. See the pictures that I have included here. To me this is a big plus. Since I have not actually taking these on a trip yet, I will have to write again later as regards the durability of the suitcases. But as of now I would write these very highly.

Just got back from our first trip and it was great. We were gone for a week and packed everything we needed in the largest suitcase. It rolled with the touch of a finger, what a dream! Also, loved the extra protection offered by the material it was made from plus the built in locks were great security feature. The quality and value for the money was superb in my personal opinion

I bought two sets of luggage at the same time and prefer this one. It has a zip liner on one side that really helps keeping things in and separated. Great looking purple color.

Great for my upcoming trip. I use the smaller suitcase for weekend trips; the larger one will be just right for traveling, especially the carry-on bag.

These Luggages are perfect the biggest one is a little bit bigger than 24in. There was no damage although the packeging/box looked like it got squished but it was ok. I would really recomened these suit cases they are affordable a neat. :)

Nice sizes. Beautiful purple and grey. Not too showy. Survived the trip from Mid-Wisconsin to lower Alabama. Like the feature that lets me unzip the larger one to make more room. The over the shoulder bag has loads of room and I was able to transport some Christmas gifts and all of my medications and still have room for toiletries, books to read on the plane and my purse. I recommend this set and especially for the price. After comparing similar pieces, I found individual pieces costing more for each piece than I paid for the whole set.

This luggage seems to be durable. I have traveled using it twice. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have the mesh inset where you can put your underwear, etc. However. it does expand and I love the look.

Good for the price... Looks good.. Haven't used it yet for an international flight.. Will know maybe in few months

Light weight, and very easy to maneuver. Used it once so far, and it is doing great! Great quality for the price.

The luggage and handles survived a trip from central USA to Finland and back. TSA even inspected one bag on the way to Finland and the other bag on the way back from Finland. Luggage and handles stayed in tact. The only reason I am ranking this luggage 4 stars is because I am not too pleased with the inside of the luggage. It is very uneven on the inside back because of the pull up handle so placing clothes is difficult if you want them to come out of the suitcase decent to wear. It takes a bit of ingenious packing.

good quality for the price. this is my first time purchasing hard shell luggage, and i do think i like using duffle bags and fabric suitcases better, but i'll use these for at least a few years before purchasing something new.

They got it to me too late. when I got back from Chicago and looking it over I did like the luggage but it wasn't as good as the stuff I had to buy as a quick replacement due to this not showing up. returned

Big Two Bags are really very light in weight, quality wise it's OK, but the little one is just a good for nothing bag. if you wanna spend $64.99 for two bags,go for it!!! I recommend it for the price and the quality.

I never write reviews, but I have to in this case because there are others who don't know what they are talking about with regard to American Touristers product lines. I've read a few reviews that claim they got "stuck with a counterfeit or a cheaper version" of the product that they ordered; nonsense, they just don't know what they are talking about. There are 2 very similar looking product lines, this one the FIELDBROOK (again the product that I'm reviewing now) and the upscale (and costing twice as much) BROOKFIELD line. Both products look very similar but the BROOKFIELD has a more finished look, the inside is lined better and has 4 swivel wheels. The FIELDBROOK (again the product this review is actually for) is half the cost of the BROOKFIELD, is semi lined and has 2 fixed inline wheels. I have to assume they ordered the FIELDBROOK and are confusing it with it's higher priced sibling the BROOKFIELD thus making their reviews somewhat null.Now for a review of the FIELDBROOK line here we go.It's cheap luggage, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like swivel wheels; so you can't put the two larger cases back to back and just push along or change direction as quickly. Also, along with having to pull the bags, you will have to deal with the weight of the bags hanging on your arms, but for the vast majority this is of little concern for the amount of time we're pulling this along when compared to the price. The entire thing is made out of polyester and plastics, the inside finish is ok but Spartan. This line is the base product line, it's like a Toyota Yaris, not the Avalon.I've had a FIELDBROOK set for 10 years and gone everywhere with them. I'm only replacing now as the old ones were fraying\pilling a little on the outside, the wheels are worn down to nubs and the airline broke the handle off the larger case on my last trip. The differences I see between the 10 year old bags and these are the older large bag was 24" vs the new one at 25". The older bags have a reinforcing strap running the entire way around the outside and the new ones don't. Finally the new ones have a better, more sturdy looking foot (2 wheels and a plastic foot to balance on when upright)I gave it 4 stars because these are good, decent luggage, but they aren't perfect. If your looking for perfect, with all the options then be willing to spend some real money

We received our suitcases a week before our trip and there is a tear in the inner lining ( picture attached ). Afraid the tear will only get bigger with the trip. Would like to return and get another set, but we are not they will arrive on time. Over all they look great, will only be able to tell its true worth once it goes thru the trip.

Purchases for a flight to Hawaii haven't been on the airplane yet but the material is very very thin and slightly flexible. It looks good the zippers and the Spinners all work fine. My first flight will tell more. I will update then.

It's very spacious and the suitcase itself is great, but the handles on top of the suitcase are not very durable. I took two of the three cases on a trip and all of the handles broke at one point or another. The suitcases were not overweight or anything, but when I picked it up from the handle it snapped right off.

Bought 2 of these sets for a trip to Argentina. Loved the color and design. They did not look sturdy but they actually are. I give them a 3 star because on three of the pieces, the handles from one side came off. Not good for such a long trip or any trip. The zippers were all fine and they are definitely roomy and stylish.

Locks very flimsy and sensitive. Locked out with small piece on my first trip. My friend was clever enough to arrange a new numbered code and finely open after an hour. Other than that they were sturdy and wheels worked great for mobility.

Product is a little flimsy. This will be my first time using them so I cannot tell you how they hold up during travel. The downside, each of the suitcase lining had a tear. It almost look like a blade cut the material, hummm. Don't know where it came from but when you receive your suitcase look at the lining.

You kind of get what you pay for here. It isn't fancy, and doesn't seem super durable, but it does what it is supposed to. If you travel frequently I would say spend the money and buy something nicer, but for the occasional trip, this set works just fine.

One of the zippers fell off after a couple of uses.

Upon receiving the luggage my wife noticed that there was fraying along the seem along the zipper on the larger luggage. I needed this luggage as a replacement for another piece of luggage that had a broken wheel. The luggage made it intact. Just dissapointed with fraying before first use.

All in all it looks ok, the quality is not the best. However, given that I will only travel once this year, it's the perfect set for me considering the price.

Haven't used it. I love purple. My locks and tags r purple as well.

way smaller than expected

When I received it, II thought I was going to have a luggage set for a while. I ordered the orange luggage set and it was so easy to spot.However, the big suitcase only lasted two trips. The suitcase was't even heavy (around 30 pounds) and the handle broke. Definite not buying again this brand.

Loved this set of luggage until the the large suitcase arrived without a handle on it's first flight!

first trip the handles all broke off. The shell itself held up and the light weight material is a plus since most airlines have a weight limit.

This luggage set is poorly built. The handle on the largest piece popped off before we even got checked in for our first flight. The pieces themselves are flimsy when unzipped. And they are almost impossible to pull behind you and roll in the normal way. I understand the modernized wheel features, and find they are useful, but not always. Especially on certain carpets or rough concrete. I've contacted the company to request a refund. Also, the extendable handles that you hold onto to pull the luggage,are extremely unstable. Felt like they could break at any moment. Some positives: Purple color was pretty. Sizes were excellent, Hard surface covering seemed to be mediocre in thinking of the wear and tear that would come in the future.

They arrived super quickly and color is nice. However, the handles are falling apart, the screws that holds them together are getting undone. So far I have taking these suitcases to and from to Hawaii, and Bolivia. I have another trip coming up and I hope they last that long.

Used both the large and medium suitcases for a trip for two from California to Indiana. Suitcases appeared to be great and we were happy to finally have good quality luggage. That feeling quickly disappeared when we noticed a luggage conveyor belt covered with some of our belongings. The zipper on the medium luggage did not hold up from the flight. Lost several items and ruined a few.

First time using it, not even very full, the larger luggage metal snapped inside, and I cut my hand wide open. Once again the bag didn't even weigh twenty pounds! So made for an eventful trip overseas. The handle on the smaller roller is loose and you have to be careful or it comes apart. Only had this for a month and used once. Sadly disappointed.

Bad product, in this kind of throw away price what do you expect? But this was even worst. It was already broken when arrived. The carton was broken, supplier should have checked, but supplier chose just to tape the broken part of product and carton.

Fell apart my third time using the larger one. When picking up my luggage at the airport there was a tear in the back and the framing was falling apart. When I talked to the airline they mentioned most luggage have a protective barrier on the back to protect it from tears at the location of the handles. When I got home and looked at my luggage there is an extra barrier.I will not buy this brand again and I will make sure to look for luggage with that extra protection along the back.

I was not happy with this set...it was supposed to be a 3 piece set but was 4 pieces instead. The reason I disliked it was because there was no lining on the inside...very cheaply made. No support on the inside of the bags. Also the lift handles that you use to roll the bags looked like they were about to break every time I lifted them up to use. Was unhappy with the product but had no choice but to use. There is already two small holes in the bigger bag, not sure if this was a defect or not.

Mine looked just like they do in the image, however I seem to have gotten the lower quality/rip off version that another reviewer spoke of. First I opened the main compartment of the largest case, the zipper opened smoothly but the positives stop there. The "lining" of the main compartment was just a loosely fitting bit of fabric held on with dots of velcro in each corner that looked to me like the mere movement of clothes would dislodge them - completely defeating the purpose of the lining. The lining fabric itself felt, and sounded more like paper than fabric, this applied to the linings in the main compartment and the two front pockets. When I tested the pull out handle it was wobbly and felt flimsy to the touch. The back panel of the case was thin and looked a bit loose. I didn't even bother opening the rest of the cases after that. I was looking for something a little more long term and as it is, this set is not it for me.UPDATE: 01/14/2016I realized that I didn't post any of the pictures I took so I'll be putting them up now.You can see the fabric puckering on the back in the second picture. The third picture shows how the rough sides are exposed to the clothing. The fourth is the "lining" turned up to show how it was fastened. And the last one shows the seaming next to one of the corners.

I ordered this item in August. I have used the smaller size a few times. I used the medium 24" one for the first time in late december. While I was packing my suitcase for the return trip...not even using the suitcase...the handle came off. It was late at night and I was forced to use the suitcase for my return trip without a handle. Very disappointing

Not what I wanted, but my husbands says it would cost us too much to return them at our expense. The interior is just open, one side has a zipper, but they don't have anything to hold items it place, so everything falls to the bottom and out when you open them.

I bought this luggage set because of the light weight and good reviews. My first set arrived damaged. It was rapidly replaced and the customer service was good. I just used my luggage and BOTH handles broke off on the very first trip. Highly disappointed!

Ive only used the large piece and within the first 4 weeks of traveling, two of the zipper strips habe broken off making it unusable. Airports are very rough witj luggage but the durability on these are very low.Update - Although the item was 2 days past the return date when it broke, Amazon still let me return it. So I can now purchase a more durable brand.

This set is okay quality for the price. You get what you pay for but don't expect it to last long. I've gone on two trips with the larger bag and the zipper already broke which I am not happy about.

This bag is complete crap iam travelling tommorow to stthomas and the zipper got broke it's a shame couldn't hold one trip. Better spend more get something better.seems it's fake one.Sorry .and I have no time to send it back as iam leaving tommorow.
