Love it.

Makes my two cats' coats shiny and soft. It thouroughly cleans their fur and is gentle on their skin. Plus the scent is light and airy. Love it.

Nice smell. Cheap. does the job.
Good Shampoo!
September 8, 2016
My kitten wasn't great at covering up her mess in the litter box and needed some baths. This shampoo worked great. It lathers well, smells nice and leaves her smelling pretty for a while.
) It smells nice and her coat feels softer after use
October 8, 2015
It works well and does not irritate kitty's eyes. She was calm when I washed her with this shampoo (for a cat.) It smells nice and her coat feels softer after use. She seems happier too.
I love it WAY more than my cat does, that's for sure...
February 11, 2015
While she doesn't /love/ it, she still tolerates it WAY better than other shampoos. She really starts to smell bad after a couple of weeks (she's a tad bit chubby [read: lazy] and gets gross over time), so a bath is in order whenever she starts stinking it up. I'll be buying this shampoo immediately every single time I run out. (Sorry kitty)

September 9, 2017
Amazingly, my cat, Yack, actually enjoys this waterless cat bath. After it dries and I brush him down, his fur is clean and very soft. At 18 he can't easily groom his back anymore and had recently developed intensely itchy outbreaks of folliculitis. I chose this product for its safe ingredient list, hoping it would calm his skin and it really has. His itching was immediately better after the first application and has been gone altogether since the second. I'll be using this weekly on him to keep him clean and comfortable.Thank you Vet's Best. We are grateful for your waterless cat bath. Your hairball remedy works great too BTW. Will be looking into your other products next.
Its a win! Win!

The first time I ordered this it leaked out all over box inside..... I really wanted to try it, so I ordered it again. I'm so glad that I did! Its a necessity for kitties! Kitties sometimes mess themselves. Even cats have the accidental smear of poopies on the furr on occasion. It happens. Not to sound corny but.... when accidents happen I clean my kitties quickly and effortlessly, with this product! I love it! I always like to have it on hand for when kitty has accidents! Just pump some on some damp paper toweling and wipe away! Thats it! Smells absolutely wonderful too!
Recommend for stinky cats!
August 16, 2016
A beautiful female stray adopted us a few years ago. Against my husbands wishes we brought her in our home and she is now a loving part of our family. Since she is indoor/outdoor (she loves her outdoor time still-we hate it!) she gets stinky. Usually I wash her down with a cloth. But this last time she had a odor that was just horrid. You literally could smell her across the room. We tried a few things and nothing worked. Ordered this foam and I am not going to say she 'liked it' but she did smell better. She is extremely particular about where you can touch and where you can't, so having myself and my daughters rubbing her with foam wasn't her best experience! Using this is going to be her only bathing options from now on. Would definetly recommend!
No more water baths for my cat after 16 years
May 19, 2015
My 16 year old calico cat, Katy. Hates water. She will ignore who ever bathes her for at least a week. Browing on Amazon last week for litter I stumbled upon this product. And i gave it a shot.I have not bathe my cat since March and she was getting dirty and smelly. She enjoyed the foam cleanse bath and it was fairly easy to use. And leaves a pleasant smell on her and removed most if not all the filth on her coat after the foam dried. She smells nice even after 4 days of getting cleansed. I will definitely keep using and buying this product. It's not hard on the hands but I would recommend using gloves as not to absorb any of the grim from the coat on to your hands. The only problem was that during shipping about 1/4 of the liquid spilled out inside the box. No biggie though, Amazon resolved the issue.
Try this if you just have a cat who isn't cleaning himself
January 15, 2014
I want to start by saying that this is a great product for cats who don't keep themselves clean. It didn't exactly help us as much as we had hoped, but it's still a great product. We have a wonderful 18-year-old cat who has a medical condition that makes it difficult for him to clean himself. I was hoping this would help us keep him clean. It generally works. For a cat who just gets gives up on cleaning, I'm guessing this would be very helpful. It did make our cat's coat cleaner and it removed some of the odor. However, our cat still tries to clean himself, which means he has food and other stuff stuck in his medium-length fur. This obviously won't work to dislodge actual dirt. It's a great product but it just didn't work for what we needed it for. This foam does help us keep him clean between baths, but we still have to bathe him regularly. I'm giving it five stars because this product never promised to do what we were hoping it would. It delivers exactly what it promises. It also has a nice, light scent that didn't seem to bother our cat who is generally sensitive to smells.
cat loved it
March 30, 2013
My cats dandruff was out of control which is why I got it. I waited until she was sleeping on my lap. My boyfriend shook it up, put it in my hand and then I put it on as if I was petting her and then went opposite to get it to her roots. She was very calm through the whole thing and was not agitated afterwards. Her dandruff is gone, her coat is no longer oily and matted, and she doesn't hate us.

This toy is amazing, and absolutely worth the cost
September 10, 2017
This toy is amazing, and absolutely worth the cost.My cat did not care at ALL about any toys before this one. We thought she was the laziest cat in the world since she showed no interest in anything aside from food. Finally, we discovered the only thing she enthusiastically played with was a piece of elastic we had laying around. It was only about 5 inches long - so not the most convenient thing to use as a toy - especially when she got enthusiastic about it. We realized that her "thing" was string. So we bought this toy for less than $3 which is essentially a 4 foot long stretchy fleece-like fabric string on a stick. She LOVES it, and finally we're able to engage her consistently and immediately. She's happier, more energetic, and loves "hunting" the moving string. The length also makes it super easy for us to use and manipulate. It's quite literally the ONLY toy she plays with and she loves grabbing it, biting it, and being rough with it. And it's still completely in one piece with little damage. Good quality! Will definitely buy another when she manages to actually destroy it.
And old favorite that pepped up my old cat
March 6, 2017
I bought this when we were having some problems introducing a new, young cat to our older cat. I bought a Cat Dancer back when our older cat was a kitten and remembered how he used to practically soar through the air playing with this thing. I figured if he liked it so much maybe our new cat would like it, too. Surprisingly, our 16-year-old cat STILL LOVES playing with this! I couldn't believe it. He hasn't played with toys in years and years. I feel kinda guilty not having this toy around all this time. It's so fun to see his old kitten side emerge again. He doesn't play with it as long or quite as gymnastically ;) but he plays and it's a joy to see.
Great toy but my cat is scared of it now
March 1, 2017
My cat loved this toy for the first few days. He is only 2 but was acting like a kitten again when we started playing with this. Then one day my boyfriend was twirling this around to get my cat to play with it and accidentally hit my cat's eye, and he promptly ran away and hid. Now, whenever I pull this toy out, he will play with it for 2.2 seconds and then runs and hides in his "fort", every single time. So, he's basically conditioned himself to fear this toy which sucks, because he really liked it at first!I do recommend this toy, it's made well and the cloth strip is really long, just make sure you don't hit your cat in the eye with it!*Disclaimer: my cat and his eye are doing well*
THIS IS THE TOY MOST ALL CAT PERSONALITIES LOVE
June 15, 2016
A TOY MOST ALL CAT PERSONALITIES LOVE! If your cat loves to play, you cannot go wrong with this toy!I have purchased several of these over the past few years and my cats continuously play with them! I have four inside cats and they absolutely love their "Dancing" toy. This is one toy that they have actually played with for over 3 years now and still love. One cat runs and jumps on her condo to try to catch in the air, while others will jump up to catch and/or attacks it while I drag on the floor.it is important to play with your cats to bond better with them, among other reasons, my cats also play with these without any encouragement. I will sometimes come home, or wake up and find they have been dragged out of their toy basket into different rooms of the house. Sometimes my youngest will even bring one to me with her little "meow" to play with her.I have had no issues with the quality of these from either of the sellers I have purchased from, they have all been excellent quality and the same material. I HIGHLY recommend for kitties of ALL ages - AND highly recommend to have at least one for each cat!
My kittens love it
October 26, 2013
My kittens are just crazy about it every night. Light in weight and nice color for photo taking as well.
simple things are best
December 6, 2011
when I took this out of the packaging, I was very skeptical of its entertainment value...simply a long piece of wildly colored fleece material held onto a plastic rod by an end cap made out of yet more plastic. Having just purchased some pretty sophisticated cat toys, (peek-a-boo box, crazy panic undercover mouse, crinkle tunnel, laser toys), I thought this cat charmer would fall by the wayside. Not so. As I removed it from the packaging, my two 3 month old kittens materialized out of nowhere, two pairs of eyes wide as saucers staring the toy down, little bodies tense and trembling with barely contained excitement as they waited for it to do something...then when I moved it around a bit, there was such an explosion of ferocious energy as they tried to snare it in their paws, teeth, and wrestle it to the floor...even if it is just lying around, one of them will drag it while the other pounces on its sinuously trailing ribbon. It has remained their favorite toy, whenever I move it, they are totally there to pick up the game with the same degree of intensity as the last time I had it out. If you only buy one toy for your cat, it should be this one, and don't be surprised when this simple little thing becomes your pet's favorite!

Great light scent, cleaned my cat great

Worked great, soft smell, I wish the scent lasted on the cat at least 24 hours, but I guess the cat wouldn't have liked that as much as me.
Good clean shampoo
November 20, 2014
This is a really good all-around shampoo. The smell is fine, nothing amazing, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It does smell very clean, and it doesn't seem to bother or irritate my cat at all. The best part is that her fur is so silky and smooth after being washed with Magic Coat. I would definitely buy this product again.
my cats love it
February 1, 2014
I bought this for my cats. I have researched several shampoos and was concern that I won't find anything that will not have any side effects for my cats. I'm so thankful I came across this product and after reading some of the reviews, I was happy that I bought this because it did not give any bad side effects on my cats and the scent is very mild. I have a tabby and domestic short hair and the shampoo works just fine.

May 21, 2017
This made my cat smell less awful, he still is a little stinky but in the products defense he was SUPER gross when I adopted him. So, probably for a kinda smelly cat it would work well
But Dave the cat is fine with it
March 18, 2017
This definitely helps improve the softness of my cat's fur and his dandruff decreases for a bit. It's kind of hard to apply because the foam immediately dissolves. But Dave the cat is fine with it, enjoys being groomed (he wouldn't go near a tub, ever) and he smells like aloe for a week after. I like aloe but next time I'd look for something with a different scent.
Nice value
July 20, 2016
Not nearly as small as expected...I like it...the cat (one doesn't bathe himself...never has)...It works nicely on him. A different "hypoallergenic" shampoo made his eyelids swell really badly...This works beautifully...I have used it a few times...and, I have plenty left.
Clean kitty approved
October 18, 2015
I'm always surprised at how easy it is to use this on my cat. She can be a bit difficult to manage if she doesn't want to do something, but after the initial surprise reaction to getting held while the drippy foam is put on her, she surrenders pretty easily... which never happens with medications or trips to the vet. So, it must be a really be a relaxing smell for her.I'm taking away a star because of the controversy about need oil. I wish there was some dependable research, or some agency over these products so we could know that it was okay to put on our beloved furry family members.
The foam seems ok, but it leaked in the delivery process
July 10, 2014
I like the product, it smells really nice (like a cat cologne :)), but mine leaked all over my package. Half of it was gone by the time I have received it. They don't put the safety cap on, which makes it really easy to twist of the top and tamper with the product.Because my wash leaked, I can't say how long the product lasts. I would use good 8 pumps to cover 1 kitten (4 months old). For a grown cat, I think you would need 12 pumps at least. After rubbing this foam into their fur, I brush them out. My kittens usually clean themselves afterwards :)I use this once a month between their monthly baths, to freshen up their fur.
Works great for long haired kitties.
August 8, 2013
I have an old man cat who has some issues in the grooming department. He's old enough that his hair is starting to get a bit icky and greasy, so he needs help keeping it clean. This foaming shampoo is a great interim cleanser when I don't feel like going through the full struggle of bathing him (which we still do every month), and helps him stay fresh and clean. It's got a nice, pleasant smell, and he thinks it's some sort of fun petting activity. He's not scared of the squelching noise, or the moisture, and he seems to enjoy the scent as well. It's actually a very calming process. I prefer this over pet wipes because I can massage this in, then brush it out. The pet wipes really just deposit small bits of moisture at a time, and I feel like I use more than I do if I go the foaming shampoo route.

Unleash your cats inner jungle cat
August 13, 2017
This toy is surprisingly long compared to some of the other wand toys we have for our cats. My two year old cat is terrified of it. He was an outdoor cat for the first three months before we found him, and we have a theory that something happened to him involving a snake. He loves all our other wand toys, but bring this one out and he runs for the hills. Our kitten loves it. Her inner huntress comes out and she goes wild. The longer length means that she runs all over the place chasing after it. It's a perfect toy for her.
Even better than expected!
June 18, 2017
This is great! The wand itself is way longer than any of the other toys I've tried, and I really appreciate that when I've got a cat who sometimes goes for my hands instead of the toy, haha. The strip of fleece is also really really long, and while that can make it a bit difficult to move it quickly, the long wand portion does help account for that somewhat.
Great for tiring out your cat
April 18, 2017
My cat went crazy for this right out of the package. My only complaint is that it's a little too long. Once your cat catches it, it's impossible to pull it away without it feeling like it's going to break away from the stick. Overall, pleased with purchase.
Why do cats love this thing so much??
November 12, 2016
I had seen tons of reviews on this and knew I had to get one for my new kitten. Just as expected, it was a hit with my kitty. I'm not sure what makes it such a hit, but cats just love this thing. The only negative is that the string came detached from the stick pretty quickly. I might try to reattach it to the stick once I find it (I just discovered the ribbon on the floor today without the stick). Considering this is just a plastic stick with a piece of flannel string material attached to the end, I expect that it will do it's only job of staying together. Other than that, this is a must-have for any cat owner!
Great as long as you pay attention
August 20, 2015
Any cat that likes wands/teasers is going to like this. It has a basic, but sturdy construction made up of a generously long, skinny, plastic "handle" which is durable (I stepped on it by accident and it didn't break) and is not hollow. The handle reminds me of a skinnier, more flexible version of that clear thing on blinds that lets you adjust how open there are. The flicky part is made of a very long (maybe three feet) of stretch fuzzy material. It reminds me of jersey sheets, only fuzzier, really like fleece. My kitten is a little over five months and he absolutely LOVES this toy. I enjoy how he runs and jumps to catch it and then is tired out and will go to sleep at bedtime. So, why then only four stars? This toy must be heavily supervised because it easily wraps around paws, tails and their necks. I will have to stop to untangle my kitten because I'm afraid he will be strangled. I know this makes the toy sound really awful, but as long as you're watching as you play with them and stop when they get tangled, it should be completely fine. It's long enough to protect your hands and it wiggles in nice, attractive patterns for cats/kittens. It also knots up a bit, but it's easy to unknot after you're done playing with it.
Its not the laser pointer, but its still a hit!
June 22, 2015
This will keep my young male cat busy for a good while. I keep it in a drawer, and when he sees me reach towards that drawer to take it out, he squeals with excitement, and starts jumping up and down. Wet food is the only other thing that gets him this excited. I think he enjoyed it more, back when he was under 10 months, but he still enjoys chasing it around a bit, and will jump up to swing at it when I hold it over him. Every time he catches it, he tries to do an "alligator death roll," which gets him all tangled, like with yarn. After three or four mins, he tends to get tired of chasing it, so I just let him play with it, and then I'll grab it again a few minutes later and we repeat the game.I do wish it was a *little* bit shorter, for when I get him to jump for it, but that is a minor quip. Some people have complained that the fleece string will break eventually, but I've had it for nearly a year and it is still holding up perfectly. Of course, I don't leave it lying around for him to play with all day long. I put it away, so he's always happy every time I break it out. Another reviewer mentioned that this toy could be a choking hazard. I could certainly see that, which is also why I put it away. I try not to leave him unattended with it for too long. When I do leave him alone with it for a few minutes, I'll see him walk by, totally twisted up in the string, with the stick dragging behind. This has never seemed to stress him out, and I simply unwind him, and we play with it again!

Cat Shampoo
June 13, 2013
I used the Magic Coat Tearless Shampoo on my 1 year Kitty and with was okay. I purchase this product because I had used it in the past (2008) and really liked it. This time, however, it did not seem to do anything for special. The Magic Coal shampoo is definitely tearless and the fur was clean but it was not soft or shiny. I would have further doubted the products efficiency but my cat is all white and her fur looked clean. The one thing I did not like was that the Magic Coat shampoo’s plastic bottle's opening did not come with a protective seal.

Too Expensive for 2 baths
October 12, 2016
Cleaned 2 cats with this can. Too expensive for weekly baths.
Not impressed
April 14, 2016
It sort of works, but it doesn't get the area (under the chin) to look like it was washed like I wanted it to. It helped a little, but that area still looks a trifle greasy. This cat doesn't like baths so I am trying to avoid that. Otherwise, her coat is gorgeous with daily or everyday brushing, but under her chin, it looks a little ratty.
Great ingredients but doesn't foam well
December 29, 2015
Aloe and neem are great and safe but the shampoo doesn't foam well due to lack of SLS or other foaming agents (which aren't necessarily healthy anyways).Suggest transferring contents into a spray bottle and apply thing that way instead. Otherwise you'll wind up using an entire bottle within 2-3 applications
Strong smell, but the foam doesn't scare the cat away from baths.
August 12, 2015
The cat doesn't hate it, but I don't like the smell. It's far too strong for me. I will only use it when he is really smelly or otherwise a mess. The foam, however, is genius. He doesn't recognize it as a liquid, so he won't try to claw my face off as I bathe him.

July 9, 2015
I purchased this for ease-of-use when my kitties need a little freshening up (as opposed to a full bath after rolling around in the dirt/mud/schmata). However, this product doesn't really seem to do the trick. Baby wipes have the same effect, and is even less mess/fuss than this.
Saw no remarkable results
May 25, 2015
Used this on my cat. I do not see really any difference in her coat. Maybe I should use more next time. She licked a bunch of it off before it dried and it didn't seem to make her sick or be unpleasant to her, so that's a good thing at least. I shook and sprayed it into my hand then petter it on her as she is too flighty to spray it directly onto her as suggested on the bottle. I did get most of it pretty covered with it, and could tell it had dried into her fur by time I brushed her out, yet I saw no remarkable results. Will likely try it one more time to see if I notice a difference and if not, will likely not use this again and must take her to a professional to bathe her.

I wouldnt pay too much for this item

its okay, basically stick is fragile clear plastic and string is a strip of fleece. Cat liked it but doesn't seem very durable. For the price it does its job.
Fun but not safe
May 6, 2017
This really is an awesome cat toy, but not very safe. My 1 year old Siberian loves playing with this, but was able to bite off about a 6 inch long piece and ate it... luckily he got sick and was okay after that but I was surprised how easily the piece just ripped off (I didn't have time to stop him from eating it) Definitely don't leave it where the cat can access it alone and be careful if your cat is an intense player!

April 22, 2017
Our cat usually loves "stick toys" as we call them, but she is not a fan of this one. The stick itself is normal size but the fabric is extremely long and I think its a little intimidating to her. We are going to try cutting the fabric to a shorter length to see if that helps!
Cat loves it, but pretty flimsy
January 7, 2017
Wow, my cat loves this toy. He isn't really fond of toy mice or balls but for some reason this really catches his eye. The stretchy-ness of the string itself really ads some fun when playing with you cat as well as I often find myself playing "tug-of-war" with my cat. My only complaint would be the flimsy plastic stick it comes attached to. First of all, the string itself is attached to the stick and came apart almost instantly. After I put it back together (with healthy amount of hot glue). Second, just a few days after having it, the plastic snapped in half. However, I still play with my cat with toy because he does seem to love it so much.
cheap raw materials=high-profit-margin cat toy -- fun for some cats, not for others
August 13, 2014
Be aware that this is essentially 8 cents worth of plastic rod with 4 cents worth of rubber attaching 2 cents of a stretchy fleece strip to the plastic rod. As such, it is ridiculously overpriced and the profit margin on such a cheap-to-manufacture product must be gargantuan. I don't mean that it is cheaply *made*; it has held together well. But it is made of such cheap *raw materials*, that the price is basically insulting.Due to the nature of polyester fleece, the fleece strip will stretch to 3-4 times its original length the first time you play with your cat with it. After that, it does not shrink back. The end result is a toy where the "toy" end is 5-6 times the length of the "handle."That being said, my little fat cat loves to play with it. If I swish it along the floor, or in the air, he gets quite excited by this and wants to pounce on it. However, my little old man cat is not that interested. They both go nuts for the OTHER Cat Dancer, which is basically a piano wire with cardboard thingies that jiggle and entice the cats (also cheap material and overpriced, but lots less than this one). But only fatty loves this toy. It does get him moving, though, which is the point. The bad thing is he likes it so much, that when I put it away when we're done playing with it, he likes to "hunt" for it and take it down. I've caught him twice, carrying it around by the fleece. I have to keep it on top of the refrigerator now -- which has no other tall or near-tall objects on it -- so he can't get up there and get it himself. He's already gotten it down twice from the tops of medium height book cases. I'd be afraid of him swallowing the fleece or eating it, if he plays with it unsupervised. Probably a storage ottoman or drawer that he can't open would be a better place to hide it when we're not using it. for now, the top of the fridge will have to do.
Not one of my cats' favorite toys
December 22, 2012
My cats love Da Bird Cat Toy - Easy Store - 2 Part Pole, but there was an incident where one of my cats got the string wrapped around her leg. She flew all over the house in a panic until she could finally be untangled. They absolutely love Da Bird, so I wanted to get something similar that would be less likely to cause a repeat episode. Unfortunately, they just aren't as enthralled by the Cat Dancer as they are with Da Bird. I assume that it may have something to do with the way the feather on Da Bird bounces around like prey. The Cat Dancer only keeps their attention for a few minutes before they get bored. It's so inexpensive, and obviously lots of other reviews here attest to this toys' positive qualities, so I assume cats are more likely to enjoy this to than not.

Not impressed. She looked dirtier after this shampoo than before I cleaned her...Poor cat. Had to torture her twice because this stuff sucks!

It works just fine- it gets rid of dandruff and makes the cat look less oily. However it stinks like a very hospital/nursing homey smell and it's so perfumey that it lingers and doesn't go away!
Smells like old people
November 21, 2016
It smells awful, my poor cat smelled like an old man for a week. It did clean his fur nicely though, he has long fur and it was a little oily.

I expected more ! Do no remove stains from the fur . To tell you the truth next day after using this foam I decided to give my cat an old fashion bath !
I don't recommend this for Sphynx cats
August 3, 2016
I don't recommend this for Sphynx cats. Also the smell isn't very appealing. It reminds me of a flea collar. It might work better on cats with fur but for my cats, not so much. On the upside, he didn't seem to mind it and wasn't trying to lick it off after I applied it and it dried or anything. But the smell is just not good
Doesn't seem to do anything for my cat's fur
February 21, 2016
Can't really tell what it does for my cat's fur. The foam doesn't spray easily out of the bottle, and it didn't get rid of even the smallest stains on my cat's fur, nor did it make it shiny, so not sure why people would use this. And half of the foam had leaked out of the bottle by the time I received the package, though I realize this is probably Amazon's fault. Would not recommend.
Didn't do much to "clean" my cat's coat
August 7, 2015
Though my cat did not like it, I applied as much as I could a few different times. Used a comb brush to get deep into her fur. Did not seem to do much and she still did not look like she was clean. I think she does a better job washing herself, lol. Only used a few times and will not use again as it did not make any difference in her coat.

scaredy-cat keeps her distance - runs away instead of runs to; no charm there
August 26, 2017
My kitty is a scaredy-cat on many things like this but I wanted to give it a try. It does get her attention, so I gave it 2 stars. She runs away from it, though, and hides from it. I doubt her feelings towards it will change in the future but I'll try it some more. The only toys she has ever really responded to are the plastic rings that are on the gallon jugs for milk or juice.I can't rate the long-term durability of this product, but it appears well constructed so far. I wasn't worried about my kitty choking on it (especially when she won't approach it!). HA
Cats will chew on this toy...buyer beware
March 13, 2017
I have four cats, a mama cat and her 3 kittens who are now fully grown cats. The mama cat is isolated because she carries the FIV virus and loves playing with the wand. Accompanying my order, I received an e-mail from the company warning against using the wand as a chew toy. They claim the materials are safe but other posted reviews indicated cats have been harmed using this toy. Your cat will use this as a chew toy. Hopefully the dyes, chemicals and materials used in the wand are not harmful to your pet. If you buy the product, you should roll up the wand and keep it out of your cats reach, they will eat it.
I have 3 cats and the usually love dangly objects
February 12, 2016
The product itself I did not have a problem with. I have 3 cats and the usually love dangly objects. But for some reason, my kitten was petrified of it and the older 2 cats were not interested. Its not a very long string that comes off the wand so I had to get pretty close to wave it around in front of them, whereas other products similar to this have longer handles and longer strings with maybe some attachments such as feathers. Disappointed that my cats couldn't have more fun with this.
Barely okay, but wouldn't recommend it
January 6, 2016
It's barely okay, but more what I'd expect to pay a dollar for at one of the discount shops. The picture makes it look like a tube of fabric, instead it's a thin strip of stretchy fuzzy craft fabric with a small amount of stitching on each side. Too lightweight to flip around well and tears easily. I certainly wouldn't leave it alone with my cat since he could chew right through it, being such a thin strip of fabric. If I'd realized it wasn't an enclosed tube of fabric, I wouldn't have purchased it.

UPDATE TO BELOW REVIEW:This is dangerous for cats because ti can easily get caught around their necks. Look at the picture another reviewer posted.. perhaps that was done intentionally for the picture, but, this could happen if you leave the cat unsupervised ( which the toy isn't made for). Also when my grand kids play with this with the cat, it sometimes gets caught around his neck, and if I weren't right there, they try to pull it off and it would strangle the cat. For that matter as well, its not safe with the kids if they put it around their own necks. The ribbon also has became very thin. As it gets stretched during play, it becomes very thin and harder to play with. Another reviewer also stated their cats ate it and vomited it and had to have some of it pulled out the back end of another cat. This toy isn't meant to be used by cats without supervision. But even so, as I said, they get very excited and run fast after it, and if it whips around their neck and they keep moving, it can cause a problem. 2 stars because with very careful play by a responsible adult who is aware of the risk, the cats can enjoy it, but don't leave it around for them to get at when you cant be watching them. For me, I simply rather not have it.original review: Picasso LOVES this, its easy to use and safe as far as having no little bells etc that potentially can come loose to kitty to choke on. It moves fast which really gets him going. My only concern is that it does move fast and is long and can get wrapped around his neck, and a strong pull might hurt. But with supervision and attention, its a lot of fun. I don't think it would get caught so tightly as to harm him, but, if left propped for him, it is a possibility, so just use it when you play with your cats and don't leave it for them unattendedCat Dancer 301 Cat Charmer Interactive Cat Toy. Great price for this add-on item.
Not great for flicking around, possible choking hazard
January 11, 2014
I'm not overly thrilled with this toy and my kitty, while more enthusiastic about it than I am, also feels like it could be better (she often loses interest after a few minutes). The string is very long, about three and a half feet, which means a foot is dragging on the floor when I'm playing with her while sitting down. I'm a 6'5" male and even I have to hold my arm up high in order to get the tip of the string off the floor, which is the only way to really flick it around in an enticing manner. I've started to contemplate snipping a foot or so off the end, though I'm unsure if that will cause the string to fray and fall apart. Right now my cat usually winds up watching the tip of the plastic wand as I try to wave my arm high enough to get the end of the string going, which means a couple of tired shoulders for me and reduced playtime for her.I also worry about my little girl getting at this thing and playing with it when I'm not around, as the end of the string is small enough for an industrious kitty to swallow and could easily knot around her neck if she's rolling around with it.This "cat charmer" is higher quality than most cat toys, which I give it credit for, as I haven't had any issues with the string breaking or disconnecting from the wand. All in all it's an okay product that could be better, and I will likely be buying other toys to replace this one before long.

Received the wrong bottle. Different scent than I wanted and lid was broken.
Smells so great (UPDATE)
December 21, 2016
I looove the smell of this shampoo. The scent is very pleasant and sweet and lingers on my kitty the whole day, which makes my house smell great too, haha. My cat is pretty much a dog trapped in a feline body. He loves to go outside and roll around, he chases his tail and gets into all kinds of messes. He also traps dust and dirt in his coat that makes my allergies act up beyond belief. Normally I'd have to bathe him every week but it's been over two weeks since we used this shampoo on him and he's still so clean! It makes his coat soo soft and almost "repels" filth haha. Can't go wrong with this price (and that smell!)UPDATE:As much as I wanted to love this shampoo, it unfortunately doesn't agree with my kitty. After the first use, I noticed he had a bald spot on his shoulder a few days later. I didn't think too much of it since he's rambunctious and tends to get himself into trouble. But he had a second bath a week or so later and the spot got bigger! I haven't shampooed him in about three weeks now and his patch is filling back in. The hunt for another bottle of shampoo continues.
Don't know how to ship.

Hair fall increased, No smell and cats ar often irritated.
Horribly over scented. Can I give this negative stars?
March 23, 2014
Our older cat needed a bath (first in her life - she was a meticulous groomer until her flexibility started to wane). So read the reviews (very positive for the most part). But how ANYONE can suggest the scent is pleasant is beyond comprehension. Smells like cheap industrial perfume that is used at sewage plants to hide the odors. Why do you any of you want your cat to be scented? I hate the smell and no amount of rising was able to get rid of it (the cheap scent is still on my hands after multiple washes hours later). I can only imagine what my cat thinks - if it's too powerful/unpleasant for me, it must be nearly torture for a cat with their vastly more sensitive sense of smell. Now my cat is desperately trying to rid herself of the stench (and that's what it is - a sickly cheap-perfume stench) and is grooming herself everywhere - been doing it nonstop for hours.
sick cat :/
November 8, 2013
so every time I wash one of my cats with this she gets sick and has diarrhea. The other cat is fine, maybe it has something to do with long hair cats. I've used other cat shampoos in the past without problems

DOES nothing for fleas. And my cat hates the smell. Better off getting a coconut scented waterless bath because it does the same thing without smelling odd.

This product does not work. It caused more knots in my cat's fur. I would definitely recommend rinsing it out! Definitely not for long hair kitties.

My cats won't play with it...
June 10, 2017
My cats don't even bother with this and they normally love any type of wand toy. The material feels like a piece of fleece blanket so it's heavier than other toys similar to this (the wands with feathers, wires and bells, etc.) and not free flowing enough to move fas and keep the cats attention. I wouldn't recommend it.
Not Safe
June 6, 2017
This was a fun toy at first, but if you have a cat who likes to chew on their toy, the fleece is not strong enough to withstand their jaws and sharp teeth. It took me a couple days to realize that my cat was literally eating it. Buy a safer toy instead.
Fun, but Unsafe
June 2, 2017
As others mentioned, this toy is popular with our cat, but when left alone he decided to eat off the end when we weren't around. We noticed it coming out of his rear end and had to take him to the vet when he wouldn't allow us to gently pull it out. Turns out he had swallowed about 7-8" of the fleece and (luckily) it hadn't become tangled in his intestines. This toy honestly is dangerous if unsupervised, and the $80 vet bill + time lost was so not worth it.
Great.... Until Your Cat Needs Surgery
January 17, 2016
I bought this for my kitten and was very please at first. She loves wand toys, and it made her run like crazy. I'm careful with most toys and put them out of reach when my boyfriend and I are not around to supervise, however kittens are wiley little creatures. I noticed that the end seemed shorter than before and a few days later I came home to find vomit the room that we keep her in when she is home alone with little pieces of multicolored felt in the vomit. Eventually it got to the point when we had to take her to the vet where my 14 week old kitten had to undergo intestinal surgery to remove a piece of this toy.CAT TOYS SHOULD BE SAFE FOR CATS!! Cats love to chew on things and this toy is a recipe for disaster and heartbreak.
Not Safe
November 21, 2014
Our cat loved playing with it, but he would try to eat it, sometimes getting several inches of fabric in his mouth. I tried only letting him have it while supervised, but then one day I noticed that the string was shorter--he'd managed to bite off and swallow some of it. Thankfully he's all right, but I looked through the other comments and noticed several reviewers who have had to take their cats to the vet because of this toy. I'm throwing it away.
I do love it but...
January 26, 2014
My cat loves this toy so so so much, but unfortunately he loves eating it too. One day I woke up and saw 7 inches of it missing. It was my fault for leaving it unattended, but it shouldn't be a dangerous toy if left alone to begin with. My cat didn't poop for 4 days, and we had to take him to the vet. He really misses the toy, but if possible can you guys make this ribbon more durable to tears and rips. Thank you. I really do love it, but I give it 1 star for the risk factor. My cat is okay, i digged through his poop to find it.
