Side by Side Comparison of: Sunny Health & Fitness vs Tone Fitness

Happy with this kettlebell. I have small hands (female) and was worried about ordering a kettle bell sight unseen especially after looking at them in stores such as Dick's. The handle diameter is not too large for my hands. At the same time, the space between the bell and handle is large enough that my husband who has normal sized hands could use it as well. Handle also didn't have any rough edges so I'm able to use it without gloves. Looking forward to using it on a regular basis.

I admit I was a bit worried about the horrible metal splinters I have been hearing about from other reviews. I have inspected my bell extremely carefully and there are no splinters. What I did find was that the "seam" is matched up very well and is pretty smooth. My bell is painted with a black coating (paint?, rubber?… I just don't know) that covers over any rough spots there would have been. There is also a colored vinyl coating over the round bottom part but not on most of the handle.It does not sit solidly upright, but it does not flop over either.It does not seem like it would be solid enough to do pushups with, but then it was not made for that anyway.I am really happy with my new Kettlebell. I have read up on them and they are really good exercise. I can happily recommend these wholeheartedly

For the price, these are excellent bells. They're balanced well and a great size for my small female hands. (I'm not sure how they'd be for men, you'd have to ask one.) The company also assured me that they don't have lead in the coating which is all too common with kettlebells. I like to colors for easily differentiating weights. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Great value!I previously ordered a 10 lb kettlebell from another company just to see if I enjoyed the exercises before I ordered a larger size. When the package arrived it was barely containing the kettlebell. This purchase was double-boxed and arrived looking nice.Love the vinyl coating for home use in our wood-floor living room.The handle has a gentle curve so that when using for double-handed exercises your fingers don't feel cramped. Also, the vinyl coating is low enough not to rub your hands during exercise. Some other low-priced kettlebells didn't have such a nice handle.Very reasonable price and shipping. When I get muscle-bound and need to go up another size up I will use this company again for sure. ;)

This is a nice quality kettle bell. I have purchased the 5, 10, and 15. I started with the 5 to get the movements down. I highly recommend starting light to gain good form, since using kettle bells is very different than standard weight lifting. I plan to lend out the lighter ones to friends who want to get started, and use them when I get pregnant. The prices are so good it easy to build a collection. I plan to get heavier ones for myself and my husband. I highly recommend these bells.

This 5-lb weight is tiny, which is great because I don't want to fight a bulky weight when I'm maneuvering thru my workouts. The rubber coating helps protect your floor and any body parts you might hit.Very well put together. Much preferred over the funky plastic weights filled with sand.This weight is very hard to find in the stores in cast iron. They usually have 7 or 10-lb. which is too heavy to me on the shoulders and neck as a starting weight .

I love the different sizes, and also how bright and colorful they are. It makes sweating more fun. ;)
The Handle makes them super easy to grip and you don't have to worry about them slipping.

This is one of the best purchases I could have made for myself investing in me. I was first introduced to kettlebells in Crossfit they are a great workout and an easier method to weight lifting. Maybe I should have order heavier ones but these are good for now. I will order more later I used these every night for my workout before bed. love

This is great for what I need. The grip isn't the best but nothing a good set of gloves or chalk can't fix. These arrived on time, in tact, and in perfect sized packaging. Thank you for that. I plan to use this with my Jillian Michaels - Shred-it with weights. SO excited. I will try to remember to update this once I get a few workouts in with this. Until then I've included photos to give you an idea of what you are getting. This is alittle bulky, which was expected for the reviews. The grip isn't the best and like any weight may require gloves/chalk otherwise you risk slipping/dropping/good ole fashion calluses. I personally don't mind the calluses. I just don't want to go "swinging" and it slipping out of my hands (sweat palms from working out) then end up breaking something or injurying myself or my little ones.

For the price this isn't too bad. For what I need, with a little adjusting, this is/can be perfect.

Squats. Squats. Squats. Squats. I'm loving how versatile this set is and how smooth the handles are, so far I'm not worried about developing calluses and I've been using them in a variety of ways everyday. The pain post workout is surprising considering you don't feel like you are working with a ton of effort, but I'm already seeing results in my upper arms, back and my butt.

My Daughter wanted to gor the kettle bell. She likes it alot and has got her from behind a pc and getting active. She works out about half an hour every day.

Better than expected

a slight edge on the grab bar leaves me only liking this product a lot, otherwise, a good bargain at the price I got them.

In my experience, I have found this Sunny Vinyl Coated Kettle Bell (in the 10-Pound size) to be balanced and easy to use. The bright color vinyl covering for part of the kettle ball is a nice feature. I can always find the correct weight by sight (different weights are in differing colors).Because I've found the kettle ball handle to be abrasive to my hands, I've decided to get some gloves to use with it/them.

This Kettle bell has been a great addition to my workout routine. That said, what can you say about a weight?The construction for the kettle bell is solid, and the vinyl coating has held up after many vigorous workouts. This kettle bell has lived up to all of my expectations, and will be buying from this brand again when I need to move up to higher weight.

I didn't have the issue with shards under the handle like other reviewers mentioned. However, the 10lb one is lopsided and does not sit flat against the floor. It still stands up though so I don't really care. The 15lb one is not lopsided. The handles are small and work great for two of my tiny baby hands but if you have average female/male to large hands you might not be able to grip the 10lb or 15lb with both hands. I am happy with these and can't wait until my legs stop burning so I can use them again.

I have a 15 pound kettle bell from the same brand and really love it as it works well with both hands. This one has a handle that is about the right size for one hand. I would've given it five stars if the company had figured out someway to make the handle broad enough for two hands. I prefer to do Kettlebail activities with both hands as it keeps the stress balanced on my muscles.You can't beat the quality of these kettle bells. They hold up and with the coating over the iron they keep the possibility of any rust from the iron transferring to your floors where you where likely to store them.

The CD about the training broke into pieces during the delivery. Since I was too tired to complain, I just check youtube from other trainer. Besides who still use CD nowadays?
Anyway, the kettlebell are cute and easy to use. I just hope they have online training video not just in CD.

Great weight set, good price, free shipping, cute colors. The only complaint I have about these is that they are a bit slippery...I wish they had some sort of foam-type hand grips. Certain exercises I do with them, I just can't grip them right for it...they keep slipping.

It's really a nice Weight for a beginner really for a beginner or a older person looking for something nice light weight not for Someone looking for a heavier kettlebal doesn't feels like tenlbs feels like five like I said for a beginner perfect for squats

The plastic housing of the kettlebell is a bit cheap and I worry that it may be easily damaged. Otherwise these were a very good deal and I may buy another set so I can have 2 of each weight.

This kettlebell works great. However it is much larger than the metal 10lb kettlebells, because the handle is so large and the base is not a complete sphere (it's flattened on both sides). It still works great, but the 15lb version is a gigantic! It looks like it could be a 30lb kettlebell. In any case I love that it is plastic/vinyl and it does not hurt my hands.

It's fine, but unless you have small hands, don't buy it. Very hard to hold with two hands. Other than that, it's fine! Luckily I have small hands. ;)

Came totally covered in grease and the vinyl coating is asymmetrical, but it's still a 10-Pound kettlebell, so I can't complain too much.

I could tell fairly quickly in the inconsistent grip but when I weighed them it confirmed one was 19.2lb and another was 20.2..Otherwise they are fine

I did not realize how small this kettle bell was in size. Great if you use two at a time but too small for an individual workout. You may want to select a different one for a one kettle bell workout.

The highest weight kettle bell is so large it is impossible to use without hitting yourself in the knees ... the small two are usable, but if I had it to do over again I'd just buy the metal bells separately

This is my first kettlebell so my opinion might change as I learn more but I think these are good at least for just starting out. This kettlebell is on the bigger side which makes it harder to do certain workouts and I do notice the handle starts to hurt my hand after awhile but for the price and amount I use it i am happy so far.
Mine came with some black markings on it but that wasn't a big deal to me.

I like them but the 15 pound one is far too wide. I was going to send them back and order the metal set but Amazon charges twenty bucks to send back so buyer beware!

Giving 3 stars because it came used!! The tape on the box was cut open and the kettlebells were scratched and obviously used. It's extremely frustrating to pay full price for an item and you get something that someone else used and returned. That is not okay.

This Kettlebell was offered at a great price and I was very excited to receive it. I ordered 2 and was accidentally only sent one. I'm not sure if it was an error on the seller's part or Amazon's fault. Anyhow, the weight is just right for my workout, but compared to the round metal ball it is large and cumbersome. Very difficult to do one handed exercises and any type of figure eight moves. I've attached a photo with a 25 lb round metal Kettlebell next to this 15 lb one for reference.

The 20lbs kettlebell has a large handle and a small body which allows for easy swinging movements. More complex movements like snatches and cleans are awkward. I docked two stars for two manufacturing errors. The body is slightly lopsided with an angled bottom. For this weight, it's not such a problem, but it would make for some clumsy handling at higher weights. More seriously, the handle is very poorly crafted, with shards sticking out at three points on the underside of the top part of the handle. It isn't sharp enough to cut when you just pick up the bell, but if your hands move while swinging then the shards can pierce the skin.I sanded down the sharp points and it now makes a serviceable bell. However, please use caution if gifting this product.

This kettlebell is 3 times larger than the one I have that weighs twice as month. It is awkward and bulky to use. I'm sending it back.

Bright green is nice at first but makes it scuff easily and need to be cleaned more frequently . Would buy CAP products instead.

A friend and I ordered the same set. The box was beat up with both of ours and the kettle bells were scratched and dirty in both. (We live in different towns, so it's not as likely that it was a transit issue.)

Not as expected. The vinyl covering is not durable. The bottom is not flat. I would not recommend this product to friends.

Item purchased for in home weight training. It arrived in 3 pieces. Now I am left with trying to figure out how to ship it back. This sucks..

I'm very sorry to write this review, but I hope it saves someone the trouble of sending it back to Amazon.I am new to kettle bells, so I am not ashamed to admit I purchased the 10lb, 15lb, and 20lb kettlebells by Sunny, all at once. I figure my wife and I could utilize all 3 of these weights, and buy more as we progress in strength/skill.They were packaged very well! All 3 arrived separately, double boxed, well wrapped, undamaged. Good job Amazon and Sunny.This is where the praise ends, and the cons are revealed. I am being 100% Totally Honest and unbiased here!1. The Kettlebells are lopsided. They do not sit upright, but skewed. Not a huge deal, BUT for just a few dollars more, you can get much better KB's.2. The vinyl dipped coating is nice to have, BUT the dip is poor and further keeps the KB's from sitting upright. Again not a big deal, BUT for a few bucks more, you can get much better KB's.3. The HANDLES ARE SHARP! Yes, the handles (the most crucial part of the KB) is created by joining 2 separate halves. So there is a "seam" in the underneath portion of the handle. ALL THREE of the KB's I ordered had bad quality seams. They are rough, jagged, and they just feel horrible. Good KB's can have texture or Not, But they are "smooth" and don't have an annoying and deep welded seam.Seriously folks, trust me... save your money, Spend a few dollars more, and get a alternative brand. (So I am not accused of promoting another brand, I will not even mention an alternative brand to buy. Just read other reviews of the other brands.)The vinyl coating is a nice feature, I will replace and return these as they are dangerous in my honest opinion. Mine are usable, but after a hard KB workout, it wouldn't surprise me if I got blisters).Save your money and get something else. I was very disappointed in these Kettlebells.

The handle is not smooth which makes it impossible to use even with gloves on. It's like clumps of metal along the seam. Made in China.

My kettle bell arrived in a raggedy, worn out carton. Upon opening it, the handle had broken off, the packaging offered no protection whatsoever. I now have a useless piece of iron that may be good for use as a door stop. Who ever prepared this item for shipping has no concept whatsoever of proper, protective packaging.

Bottom of bell is not smooth, therefore they won't stand up the way they should.

Unnecessary bulky

Doesn't show how big it is. It shipped fast. It was cheap. It's too bulky to be as versatile as I need it to be.

I received the box and it was obviously an item that had be returned once or twice. The box has been torn down the side and was essentially being held together with tap. The inside of the box was shredded as well and the DVD was obviously tampered with. The are not as condensed as other kettle-ball sets. They aren't bad but there are no grips on the handles so when you go to exercise they slip very easily. I wouldn't mind spending a little more to get a better quality product.

Too big and bulky

The handles make this awkward and the return shipping costs as much as the product. Very disappointed
