Five Star Reviews: | 56% This stuff actually works!!! November 9, 2017 I brought in an orphan stray kitten last year who, of course, was riddled with fleas. My current cat not only got infested with fleas, but got extremely sick from them because she would eat them! I panicked and purchased Frontline for a ridiculous amount hoping it would fix the problem. (Little did I know..) I followed Frontlines monthly treatments as directed for 6 months. But even after the six months, we still had fleas!! I felt bad about putting any more chemicals on my cats, so I decided to look for an all-natural alternative instead. I didn’t know how effective this would be, but after reading a few reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I was skeptical at first because it is totally non-toxic and cedar scented. Typically cedar is a super intense scent that lingers forever and, in my experience, natural products just aren’t as potent. But not this stuff! The smell is strong, but surprisingly pleasant and it goes away in about a day or so. I also spray my furniture and cats with it. They stopped itching almost immediately. It feels greasy on the cats fur at first but that does go away. My cats don’t mind it at all and have had no bad reactions from the spray on the skin, or licking it. I love this stuff. I’ve seen my flea problem almost disappear within a few days. I will hopefully not need to purchase it again. But if the need arises, I am coming back for this stuff! Fleas be gone! Dr. Harrington and I are thrilled! May 15, 2017 No more fleas! It took about 3 days of spraying throughout the house for it to work but it worked! I'm sooo happy! And I have plenty left in the sprayer just in case another breakout occurs. I also put some in a dropper and put it on my cat's scruff. Since Dr. Harrington didn't have a reaction from it, I used the dropper to place it in random parts of his fur. He is no longer suffering from constant scratching! Now we're both happy!!! Effective and chemical free! December 30, 2016 Based on many great reviews, I decided to try another holistic product. I'm happy to report that my tick magnet dog had a couple on his coat, which I removed. They appeared to be effected by the spray. I didn't find any that were attached and eating! I've found a winner! I also spray my hiking shoes to repel ticks and the closet walls to repel wool eating moths. I like the smell, and Vito isn't bothered by it as he was from other holistic products. Awesome product!! Smells great. Could visibly see it working on our cats ... December 5, 2016 Smells great. Could visibly see it working on our cats and could see dead bugs coming off them the next day. For the price, this is the best flea/tick solution i have came across. Definitely recommend! AMAZING!!! September 1, 2016 WOW!! Perfect timing...I just discovered a couple fleas on my dogs, and I seen this on Shark Tank-went online and ordered it right away! I hate using any chemicals or poisons on or near myself or my animals. It was a long 4 days since my dogs were clearly uncomfortable and itching like crazy. I spayed it on and immediately I saw a flea trying to escape and watch it die in seconds, so then I went searching for them found another and watched it die-just in case the first one was a fluke. it's made with Cedar and lemongrass natural oils and it's oily on their coats but small price to pay for healthy skin. I misted the sofa and carpets where they lay, the oils didn't bother any of the fabrics. I may have over sprayed the dogs to be sure. The scent might be a bit strong at first for some people that are sensitive but I found it to be a nice pleasant scent.Highly Recommend! totally recommend for fleas February 16, 2016 I really like this product for flea prevention. It smells like a pine forest (a little strong even) but to know that I am managing fleas with something that won't give me or my dog cancer makes it all worth it. I sprayed on all cloth surfaces - couch, chairs, bedding, rugs and it did not discolor anything and the scent dissipate in a couple hours.Last summer it was so hot in my 100 year old house - I actually found a flea infestation under my house in the crawl space, but both my dog and cat had very limited fleas (in total, I probably found 10 between the two of them - the fleas were on them as well - not jumping around the house). It really works very well. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 12% The smell is also so nice! October 25, 2017 So far I've noticed an incredible improvement with the amount of fleas my dogs have on them. The fleas aren't completely gone, but with how it's going so far, regularly spraying the carpets, beds and animals the fleas will be gone in no time! The smell is also so nice! While I like the product October 23, 2017 While I like the product, it arrived with no sprayer, so I had to go out and purchase a top that would fit the bottle so I could use it. The odor is very strong, so if you need to spray a large dog, it can be very overwhelming to you both to breath the scent in the house. I would have rated it higher if I had not had to go out and purchase a sprayer. Best product I have tried all summer. September 12, 2017 First product this summer to deal with most fleas - I'm still seeing a few but I think that is the season this year....This smells good - doesn't bother the dogs and works better than anything else we tried this year. Our dogs do heartguard and react badly to topicals with toxins/poisons - so we go natural for fleas. I haven't seen a single tick and mosquitoes don't seem to be biting the dogs with this on. I am curious to try next summer - hopefully we get a cooler winter this year. I am very happy so far and it has just been a few days. I have two large double coated Alaskan Malamute / Terrier mixes - around 90lbs :) Made for sensitive people, not sensitive animals. May 25, 2017 works nice, as advertised, pleasant to be around.....but let's face it.Kitties hate anything that goes "sprzzzzzz!....." around them.....prepare to chase, tackle and ambush your pet Fleas gone in 2 weeks after a 2 month battle I was losing! September 15, 2016 I was skeptical at first, because I found fleas on my dog for several days after using it. If sprayed directly on the fleas, they would die. I have been diligent about vacuuming and treating carpet and cleaning bedding. it's been 2 weeks and I have vaccumed and sprayed carpet about 3-4 times, lightly spritzed my dog daily, and for the first time in about 2 months, there were NO fleas found at bath time! I've been having to bathe her every 3-4 days to make sure they are gone. I'm just hoping they're not hiding somewhere in my house! Wondercide appears to work much better than diatomaceous earth, which I've also tried. Also, some people don't like the scent. I love the cedar and lemon grass scent. It reminds me of smelling a cedar chest. I add a brown sugar fig oil to my Scensy warmers and the combination smells amazing! In order to treat the whole house, it has been kind of spendy, but my dog is very small and I don't want to use many chemicals. I ordered the 32 ounce bottle first and that treated all my carpet. I then ordered the gallon and have about half left. Wish me luck on remaining flea free! ... under 4 pounds and even thou the spray smell terrible so far it doesn't seem to bother the dogs ... April 14, 2016 I have 3 small dogs under 4 pounds and even thou the spray smell terrible so far it doesn't seem to bother the dogs like with the name brand I use to put on them. They don't lay around all day after I apply the spray like the other brand I use to use. I'll use up the bottle and see how things go thru the summer. I live in the Midwest on an acreage so tick season came early I will spray them again today and we will see what takes place. So far I like the spray other that the smell. Thanks for coming up with a better plan for dogs and their pests. Cynthia Crosby Palmer, NE | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 9% Just okay November 11, 2017 It definitely gets them running and bringing them to the top of the fur BUT it does not kill them, more like stuns them, slows them down a little. Then I like to grab them and flush them or drown them with one of my oils, like castor, grapeseed etc. I think it's more of an extra aid in combating fleas BUT not to replace other products like K9 Advantix II Flea, Tick and Mosquito prevention. You have to use this every 2 days because they keep coming back. We bombed every room, used a topical treatment and this and we still had issues, however, I will say that fleas this year were especially BAD! I also feel like it was a very small bottle for $12.99 (4 oz.). The smell gave my Husband bad headaches, the smell did not bother me.Our 3 dogs would start running as soon as they saw me reach for the bottle. Not so wonderful. Kills fleas on contact but not sure it’s ... November 9, 2017 Not so wonderful. Kills fleas on contact but not sure it’s effective after it dries. Cats still have fleas on them :(It has a nice minty smell to it though. hard to say May 25, 2017 not sure if this really works or not. I don't mind the smell and niether does the dog. the cat hates it though yes it does like cedar, and is not untollerabe May 25, 2017 I bought the cedar sent becuse it contained more cedar oil (the supposedly key ingredient) then the lemongrass or rosemary. After reading reviews, I will point out the obvious and say, yes it does like cedar, and is not untollerabe. Having only received this today, I cannot account for its pest deterrent abilities etc. I am hopeful this holds the promise, considering the absolutely harmful options out there. Will update after use. but my dogs hated being sprayed March 29, 2017 It works, but my dogs hated being sprayed :( The smell is STRONG CEDAR so I had to keep spraying lavendar after. Good alternative to pills, but some pets will not like getting sprayed and your house will smell potent I was hoping... February 23, 2015 Not all that impressive as far as deterring fleas, but I like the shine on my dog after I spray him and that he smells like cedar. He doesn't mind the spray when spraying his back side. I use a flea comb and then I spray, but by the next day, he's full of fleas again. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 8% Not a good smell October 22, 2017 I'm not sure if this works or not because the smell is terrible! It made me sick to my stomach. Cannot use it. Doesn't really do the trick October 17, 2017 Unfortunately, this product just doesn't do a good enough job. It does kill some fleas, but I can't say that I think it repels them for long. Hours after spraying this on our dog, fleas are present in the areas that were sprayed. The cedar scent is also a bit too strong for our liking, dominating the entire house. The benefit for those who DO like cedar? It actually smells exactly like cedar. No chemical smell. Still, I will not be purchasing this again sadly. He did not like it when sprayed (I only tried his back end) ... August 30, 2017 I can not really tell you if it works or not because my dog HATES it. He did not like it when sprayed (I only tried his back end) and when I sprayed on bedding instead, he avoided those beds completely. Long Haired animals-warning... August 24, 2016 Although I was looking for a Natural product, I found the cedar odor overwhelming ...as did the cats...no sooner would they see me grab the bottle and off they went to hide. So I can't say that this stuff is truly effective if it can't even be sprayed on the animal. And the dog wasn't too crazy about it either....it's way too oily which caused fur matting...something you should be aware of...not the best product to use on long haired animals. Made me gag May 14, 2016 Strong offensive scent. We tried this "natural" alternative to Frontline on our 12 lb mutt. The scent was overwhelming. It made me gag - it was so strong. I had only spritzed it twice. The odor clings to anything the dog touches like your furniture or it's own bed. I imagine it could stop fleas, but the odor was so strong my wife avoided our dog. I finally gave up and gave her a bath and put her bed in the washing machine. Don't want to go back to Frontline, but this is not the solution for us either. More Hype Than Reality April 24, 2016 After watching shark tank I was convinced this was a natural way to take care of the fleas. This stuff is expensive and works minimally. While I did see it kill fleas, it doesn't go far and is an expensive solution for treating the home and animals. One of my two dogs (Maltese) had a bad reaction and had to bathe her 3 times for her to calm down as she was in visible distress. I tested on both dogs as directed with no signs of discomfort. BUT when I applied to the entire body, she had a reaction within 15 mins. While I truly hoped it would work and figured if it was that expensive it must work, right? I am sorely disappointed and would NOT recommend this product. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 15% Attracts ticks and CAUSES SEIZURES! November 9, 2017 I have been using this for a week, and three days ago pulled five ticks off one dog, four off the other. Two days ago, I pulled three ticks off one dog and seven off the other. Yesterday I pulled four ticks off one dog, three off the other, and today, oh good grief! Already pulled four ticks off one dog, and haven't even started with the other yet, and my mini dog had a grand mal seizure today, flopping on the floor, hit his head on the wall, and it was awful! The only thing we've changed is using this spray. Not only does it not work, it's made things much, much worse around here. I'm pretty angry. Why do they keep fixing things that aren't broken? November 6, 2017 I have used Wondercide products for years and have never had an issue with fleas. But, somewhere along the line, they changed the formula and it no longer works. I ended up returning the bottle. Can't stomach the smell... October 30, 2017 Its 32 degrees and rainy outside and my windows are open. I use Essential Oils on all kinds of stuff so I knew the smell I was getting. The Rosemary is making me gag. Its so incredibly strong and I can tolerate a lot but this not at all. I'm hoping the house airs out before bed or before my roomie gets home. So disappointed and I'm so glad I didn't put it on my pets. Bottle leaked and smell was unbeatable. October 24, 2017 The bottle leaked and saturated the carpet in my car, so I did not even have the opportunity to use the product. The smell was beyond overpowering, and was unbearable, even after I had the rug steam cleaned. It has been over 2 weeks and the smell is still VERY strong! DO NOT USE ON CATS May 12, 2016 If you have cats DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. This product is toxic to cats. My cat fell very ill with blood in her feces, lack of energy, amd lack of appetite. The vet was very worried about the use of the product. The use of Wondercide was the only factor that changed before my cat became ill. After we got home from the Vet we immediately cleaned everything that was sprayed and opened every window to air the house out. After a few hours the smell finally started to diminish. The next day my cat was almost back to normal, specifically no blood in her feces. I hate to wonder what would have happened to her if we had not taken action to get rid of Wondercide as soon as possible. Side note: she still has fleas, and let me tell you I sprayed that stuff everywhere. I am not even sure if it killed any fleas. I purchased this as I have a horrible flea problem with my two cats April 6, 2016 I purchased this as I have a horrible flea problem with my two cats. The only thing good about it is the smell. I've tried this on my cats several times and the fleas are just as thick if not worse that they were. I've followed the directions to the letter but with zero results and this stuff is expensive.
