This makes the 2nd case we have bought threw the power bear! This case was purchased for my uncle. He spends most his day out and about this case truly is amazing! I just ordered a 3rd for my mother Inlaw. :) so if your looking for an alternative to being stuck in the house on a wall this is it!! The only negative thing I can think of is the screen is unprotected but nothing that a screen protector will take care of.

I allowed my grandson to choose a case for his iPhone 4 and he chose this one. He told me that he loves it. I didn't even know there were rechargeable cases!

I purchased to support an old iPhone 4S I use for travel. Once the unit is fully charged it works great and keeps the phone operating for an extended period of time. I have not yet had a chance to test it "in the field," but, at home, I see the phone staying alive far longer before needing a charge. It is also helpful that you can use a micro-USB cable to charge both units and to connect the iPhone to a computer. Be advised, it does make the phone a bit chunky and heavier, but that is the price you pay for longer battery life.

After a month my power bear will not charge at all. I have tried several times with different cables and outlets with no success I'am very unhappy and now wish I hadn't bought it at all.I have tried to contact the seller with no response.Don't waste your money

Bought this for my wife. So far it is great. Easy to use and holds a charge for days. My wife's phone was dead before evening everyday without it. It is pretty slim and seems to provide protection for the phone and feels good to hold.

Great product and fast delivery. I love that I am no longer tied to a wall to charge all the time. It does not however come with the cable to charge the case, so u will need a micro USB cable.

Was a great replacement for a worn out internal battery. Much cheaper than a battery replacement of $59.00. Good seller great product.

Nice style and feel, slim profile and fits in my pocket nicely.Directions say to keep it 'on' until it discharges, then the phone uses its internal battery. I found that if I let the phone battery discharge to about 10%, then turn the case 'on', it easily charges the phone to 100% and continues to keep the phone charged. Not an issue, just an observation. Also, a small piece of black electrical (or just pick your favorite), tape keeps the top half of the case always connected to the bottom half.i had an issue (I thought), with this case. With the phone in the case, the speakers refused to work. I contacted SQdeal and they offered to replace it, and even refund my return postage. I communicated a few times with 'Alice' who kept me in the loop regarding the RMA and the replacement case. When the new case arrived, I had the same results.To make an already too long story a bit shorter... jump to the end... the problem with the phone was the charging port, which I readily found online and replaced it myself. I popped it in the case, and life couldn't be better.

Works great so far. After a day at school my phone is still at least at 70% where before I'd have to charge it by noon. The case fits nice on my phone and was a good price.

Bought product and was skeptical. So far it's been great. The top portion doesn't clip in very securely but does stay on. With avg use for a 18 hour day. I finished the day with no battery left in the case and 65% on phone. Before the phone would be dead in a few hours.

Love Love LOVE! So handy to have, especially in an area where you aren't able to charge your phone. It is not bulky so that is a major plus!!! Overall, great product and shipped fast! To charge this case it requires and android charger which is stupid since this is for an Iphone, but thankfully we have android users in our house.

This is more of a powerbank than a protective case. While it might protect your phone from getting hurt from the back side, the front side is a little exposed if your phone happens to fall on it. Also, when charging, it seems that the 4th LED never turns on in my unit when charging. This either has a long charging time or the LED is problematic. It would have been nice if the last LED was in a different color so you know it's charged.The case is lightweight and the fact that it has a powerbank doesn't add much of a weight to your phone.

Takes a while to charge it.only draw back is the top comes off easy & this one the top is already lost.

My wife's iPhone would run out of battery at the most incovenient times. I gave the PowerBear as a gift to her - She liked it, but we had some problems charging. It would only charge on the low current "kindle-type" 5V adapter. When a high current (original samsung) adapter & cable were used, the PowerBear would not charge. It may be that the shutoff circuit is protecting the batteries - further testing is needed. We manage to charge both the iPhone and PowerBear using a low current adapter overnight - I liked that this way we did not have to take the phone out of the case, and also that the case converted the apple adapter to the more common micro usb connector. I am giving 4 stars because she has not used it for a normal work day, so performance is still unknown, and we don't know if slow charging will be an issue. If my wife still likes it at the end of the week, then it is a winner, and I will upgrade to 5 stars.

So far so good! A little heavy but does the job and I am able to make it the entire day without charging.

Gets the job done, good battery life, but the top slips off easily.

Not much to say - extends the run time of the phone as intended however it adds bulk but any of the battery packs like this will be the same. No complaints with the battery and only dropped a star because of my personal opinion about how it fits my needs. Havent owned it long enough to determine if the batter quality is good or not.

It solved my proble!I can get through the day of without having to recharge my battery in the middle of the day...

It does what its supposed too. But it can get real hot real fast. Other than that, I like this product

My daughter purchased this for my older iPhone that has a weaker battery. I liked it at first, but it gets too warm while I am using my phone, which is concerning.

the top of case broke; would like it to be replaced

The top peice comes off easily, ive lost it multple times. It does do a good job charging the phone though.

This charger worked great and is very convenient, but it stopped working after 5 months. Amazon was very good about helping me find out how to get it replaced because it has a 2 year warranty.

It was a present and we opened it as soon as we pulled it out of the mailbox. When we tried to connect the case to the phone, the plug was bent and wouldn't go into the phone. We had to try to bend it in order to even get the phone plugged into it, but so far it's carving. Also where is the kickstand?

I really liked this for my iphone 4, at first. It's a nice case and it worked great the first day or two, but then when I plugged it in to charge, the powerbear and my phone became very hot! What is up with this? It scares me that its going to ruin my phone. Bummer! I can still charge them up seperately and they work together, but what an inconvienance.

Broke within 5 days of use.

I really liked this case. It's small and it holds a big charge. But it broke after only two months and it won't charge up anymore.

It lasted about 6 months, The charging port is broken so I can't plug it up to charge without twisting it to work and the top cover never really snapped on. It would always slide off. It was good for 6 months and at this price you get what you pay for. It does get hot while charging your phone.

It works but the directions are vague. Alice from customer service took care of me. I wish it had a lip that protected the phone better

Worked well with regard to charging, but there is no protective lip to save the screen if it falls face down. Basically negates the point of having a protective case but if you are looking for charge case only it will get the job done.

I charged the case according to the instructions but the third time I attempted to charge the unit it would not work. I was not happy with this.

Overheats, gets very warm to the touch. Not sure I get much more life out of a charge than I do without using it. Would not re-buy.

Maybe I did not read the instructions, however I don't think I am getting any better battery life or performance with this product

Have purchased tow and they keep overheating with the 4s. Doesn't seem to do that with the 5s.

Worked for about 3 months then stopped charging unless you held the cord correctly and stopped taking a charge at the same time. I would not suggest this particular product.

It's written 3200 mah but in its manual book it's written 1900 mah.And also gets too hot while charging.

Plug is loose after a few months of use. This thing heats up the the point parts of it is melting.Dont recommend charging a dead phone with a dead pack.

I've had 2 of these, the battery seems ok but the USB input jack breaks easily. My second one lasted less than a month. It's finished.

The two parts of the battery case do not lock when attached to the iPhone and the iPhone's screen is not covered by the battery case's edges, as with other cases.

The USB port is loose and will not charge anymore and I have tried several different cords and chargers. Sometimes I can get it to work if the unit is placed on a flat service in a certain way. Otherwise, it is a waste of time and money.

complete money waist.. doesn't lock top and bottom section together at all. And charging back is very very bad.. I stop using it after a week

It messed up my iPhone so much I had to take it back to apple to get it fixed.So not worth the money I spent.

it does charge your phone recharge easy but everything else forget it.. It does not protect your phone the cover constantly falls off now to the point I only have half of it. There's no lip on it so ur glass will break. They do supply a cover but a cheap one one that the store actually had to put on With that said theres still bubbles meaning it will fall off. To me It was a waist of money

This case is complete crap! It hasn't worked right from day one and now less than a week later it won't plug in properly to even charge the case alone (I've had to take the phone out at night to charge it separately because if you try to do the case and phone it only charges the phone unless you switch it to off, then only the case). I fully charged it last night (had to make sure the plug was making contact and keep it that way) and it only charged the phone maybe 5% then stopped. The case I had before worked great and would fully charge the phone (and charge both the phone and charger overnight) until my 3yo threw it on the ground and broke the battery off.

Two weeks battery case worked perfectly, third week on its shows up only 1 LED light after 8hr all night plugged in to charge. Tried different cables and power sources, after trying a few more times, I replied them its not work they replied back check the charger. this item is worth 2 weeks and waste of time to sit around changing charger etc, to fix the problem with battery case and replying buyer back and forward email.

Top part literally falls off with no pressure. Terrible design, as others have said. And the screen is exposed. There's no protective lip around the screen, so it will be very easy to crack the screen/glass of the phone . I would definitely not buy it again. Sorry I did the first time.

I have had two of these over the past 2 years and I like how it functions as a whole but the ad is not truthful. When mine recently broke (charger connection broke off for the second time) I took it apart to see if I could salvage it. I noticed on the side of the battery, it clearly states 2000mAh not the 3500mAh that is started in the ad. For that reason alone, don't get it!!!! and it gets hot if you try to charge your phone through the case like it says you can do.

If you are like me and still carrying around a 4/4S, forget this case and opt for the next step up. This was my third (and worst) external battery case; the battery lasted but 45 days.Pros - Nice on/off switch - Bright blue LEDs - It taught me a lesson -- if the price looks too good to be true, it probably IS.Cons- After owning it for 45 days, a fully-charged battery provides only 5% of a charge- Gets hot during recharging -- so much so that one night it melted a portion of the case- Interior body of the case warped (due to the above heat?), making for a poor fit to phone- Top portion does not clip well into body of case.- Case does not protect the edges of the top glass (like the others mentioned in the title)Other info- I used a MaxBoost for 400 days with full discharge/charge cycles each day. The battery or a connection finally failed- I am still using a uNu that has 3 months of service.

Lasted one day. Took a full charge then didn't take one after that. Tried different cables and power sources, after trying a few more times before sending it back the USB port fell out. At that I point I didn't bother sending back since we technically broke it, can't return a broken item.
