Great Small Tree
January 18, 2017
This tiny tree packs a lot of Christmas cheer! It is easy to set up and looks great placed on a small table. I used regular sized and small ornaments and with all the decorations on the tree, it looked wonderful. My only issue is that the lights are a bit sparse at the top of the tree, but I am very pleased overall and will likely use every year along side my larger tree IF I decide to put the larger one up. Received a lot of compliments on this tree. Looks pretty real for the price and doesn't take up a lot of room.Is easy to disassemble and place back in the original box. I am glad I purchased.
Perfect for little places.
November 28, 2014
Just came in the mail today with Amazon Prime. We have a smaller home, a toddler and crawling infant. Needed to downsize and be able to keep out of the reach of little hands. This was exactly what I had envisioned. It is perfect and fits on a little coffee table in a corner. I fluffed the branches all out and it seems full to me. It is sturdy on the bottom. Thanks!
Perfect tree. Perfect price
November 17, 2014
I searched extensively for a "pencil" tree due to the lack of room in our rental home. I settled on this 7.5' National pre-lit tree. I read maybe a hundred reviews and narrowed my choices to 3 trees ranging from almost $400, $250, and this tree-$120. When it came, I was still surprised at how small the box was, even though I had been prewarned in reviews. Likewise, reviews made me aware that the tree would need major "fluffing". I spent about 40 minutes shaping my tree. The result is perfect for what I wanted. Remember, this is an artificial tree! It doesn't look real because it's not real. But it is definitely cool! I put mine inside a pot which elevates it to almost 9 feet. I agree with another reviewer who said it looks great undecorated. I'll leave it bare until dec 1 and decide then if I'm going to add ornaments.
GREAT little small Christmas tree!
November 5, 2014
GREAT purchase for a Christmas tree....I was looking for a small, pre-lit Christmas tree. One that would fit in a small space yet be nice. This totally fit the bill for my needs. Easy to set up. Like the fact that if one light goes out the rest stay on. Thanks for making this available!!
Delightful tree with a small footprint!
November 26, 2012
There is only one spot in our den for a tree, and that spot didn't allow for a tree taking up 3-4' of floor space. After reading the good reviews, I ordered this tree.In the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit that I was somewhat disappointed when I opened the box. Not sure what I expected, but my first impression was that it didn't look 'natural'. Being that it was October at the time, I put the box away, along with my initial response. This past weekend (right after Thanksgiving), I pulled the box out of the closet and took out the tree. Still not overwhelmed. But I hung in there and as I began to spread out the branches, my attitude changed. By the time I was done decorating, I don't know how I ever did without this thin, beautiful tree.It is full and looks quite realistic when examined closely. The lights seemed kinda sparse before I added ornaments, but the glass and glitter of the decorations really made the tree shine brightly. The clear lights are quite brilliant. The tree is ultra stable on a base that extends almost as far as the branches. I really like that the branches come down almost to the floor ... that adds to the realistic appearance. Evergreens out in the woods always grow close to the ground.Took me a couple of hours to nitpick the branch tips to perfection, but I am delighted with the results. When I was done, there were only 5 or 6 bristles on the floor. That is almost zero shedding, which made me very happy. If that continues, this tree will last for a very long time!I've uploaded a photo of our decorated tree to give you an idea of how it might look in your home. I recommend this for purchase, without any hesitation. The price is low, but the quality is not!UPDATE: The tree was up for 6 weeks. I have 4 dogs that get rather rough playing in the house and they skid into the tree several times ... it never fell over and never lost a needle. The grandchildren were all in awe at how beautiful it was. I've got to say that my husband and I enjoyed this tree so much that we hated to take it down.
Easy to set up and looks great
December 11, 2011
I am quite picky about my Christmas trees, but this one did not disappoint. The branches are well spaced and not too sparse; the needles do not shed; the color is believable; the lights are well spaced as well; and the branches start just 6-8 inches from the floor, unlike some other 4 to 5 foot trees I looked at. I use this tree in my entryway and have had nothing but positive comments on how nice it looks. For $55 I think it was a great purchase.

No lights which are is GOOD
May 11, 2017
Surprisingly realistic once branches spread right and tree is decorated. Living in CA means real trees are covered in gunk so you don't ever ever get the smell of a tree. So why bother. This ones reusable and you don't have to deal with trash pick up hassle when Christmas is over.Oh and don't buy one with lights already on it. That's a nightmare waiting to happen. As soon as a section goes out your fake tree is toast. This one is cheap enough you can buy some lights like normal. ;)
Fantastic tree for a fantastic price!
November 21, 2016
After reading some of the negative reviews on this item, I was a bit skeptical, but went ahead and ordered it. I wanted a nice tree, but couldn't see spend hundreds on one. I'm glad to say that it's exactly what I was hoping for. The longest part was fluffing the tree limbs out, which took a couple of hours. But if you take the time to fluff them, it ends up looking full and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new tree.
Amazing tree. It doesnt require a lot of time ...
November 20, 2016
Amazing tree. It doesnt require a lot of time putting up. The branches are in the holder already and does not have to be individually put in. Ive had trees that are color coated and youd have to put each seperate branch in the holder. Pain in the butt. By far the best tree for the price!!
Great tree
November 18, 2016
It can feel a little overwhelming when you first put it together. It's just that big and voluminous. But it is a great artificial tree. Looks real enough. Has good brown to green ratio. Worth the price. Full from top to bottom just depends on how you branch out the parts.
Great tree. FLUFF ALL THE BRANCHES BEFORE JUDGING.
November 24, 2015
I couldn't agree more with what several other reviewers have said - don't get freaked out when you open it up and it looks cheap and sparse! Spend 30 minutes unfolding and fluffing all the branches and you'll be amazed at how realistic and full it looks. There are three sections to the branches and the base - all the sections go together very easily. I've never seen a tree so easy to set up! Once it's all together, start at the bottom and just bend out the branches to fill in all the gaps. By the time you hit 20 minutes, you'll be wondering how there could possibly be more branches to spread out...and there always are. We found "unfluffed" branches even as we were decorating.I've attached photos of what it looks like all up and fluffed. Would TOTALLY buy this again, such a great deal for the price!
Good value.
November 28, 2014
Got it for $131.99.For the price, the tree is very nice. It's packed very tightly and you need to have some patience to fluff it out so that it looks real. When first taking it out of the packaging, it doesn't seem very full. After rearranging the branches and such, it looks pretty good. See attached pictures. The tree comes in four pieces: the stand, the base section (largest), middle section, and top section. The top section of branches is not "hinged", so you'll want to follow the instructions for "wrapped trees" in the booklet. Basically, you have to bend the branches into place both laterally and horizontally.

Stunning customer service
December 19, 2016
When I received this little tree the plastic housing on the bottom of the post was cracked. I called the customer service phone number that was included in the box. I was stunned to be able to speak to a real person. Not only a real person but a reasonable, intelligent and helpful customer service agent. The company immediately sent a replacement part at no additional charge. Pretty unusual and impressive. The tree is nice and small and looks attractive when formed and decorated. The only problem I had with the tree is that the branches weren't formed when it is first received. Also the lights were tightly wrapped around the branches and almost all were on the bottom section of the tree. It took a long time to unwrap and reposition the lights and realign the branches. I like the tree now but I might look at a more expensive one if I had to do it over again just because of the light placement.
A very good tree, with a couple small "character traits" to work with/around
December 19, 2016
This is a great little artificial tree! I love that for as tall as it is, the width is narrow, which is perfect for my tight apartment since I can tuck it into more convenient places than if I had a real tree of that height. I also appreciated how easy it is to set up - it comes with instructions, but I didn't find them necessary. A small detraction is that the cord situation is a little ambiguous, with the instructions listing the wiring schemas for all of the heights these trees come in - I only looked at the instructions to figure out if I was doing something wrong with the cords since the top and bottom half are independently wired, so the top half needs to be plugged into the bottom half's cord, and then you need to snake an extension cord into the branches to supply power to the tree. I also plugged in a lit tree topper, and just ended up neatly wrapping and securing the excess cords inside the branches so they are out of sight. Regarding the tree topper: there is just no stability to the top of this to support anything heavier then a topper made of tissue paper or ribbon, so I got around that by securing a three-foot dark green bamboo garden stake to the trunk of the tree at a few points, and then securing the tree topper to that, so it all works just fine, but it did require a little creative engineering.I love that this tree is small enough that it can be put on top of a table or stand to give it more presence, while being proportioned to fit into narrow spaces, and to give the illusion that it is a full-sized tree. DEFINITELY keep the packaging so you can conveniently store it outside of the holiday season, and be prepared to get a little creative with the wiring and tree topper situation. The convenience of a nice-looking pre-lit tree more than makes up for the couple detractions and lack of Christmas tree smell (just get a nice spruce, juniper or cedar candle, and you won't even miss that!)
Very pleased with this tree!
December 3, 2016
When I first puled the tree out of the box, I thought maybe I'd made a mistake in buying it. But once I had it assembled and decorated I completely changed my mind. It's true that you probably wouldn't mistake it for a real tree, but it is still pretty. It fits exactly in the small spot I had for it, and while I was initially concerned that you could see the frame of the tree when it was assembled, but once you get the ornaments on you really don't notice it. I was surprised that the lights all 3 sections of lights plugged into one and then into the outlet, but it wasn't really a problem. I used an extension cord and the cords tucked together behind the tree. The tree stand is fairly ugly, but you cover it with a tree skirt so that doesn't bother me as long as it's stable - which it definitely is. Not so much as a wobble. Bottom line - my tree looks great, and while you can certainly spend more on a Christmas tree (and I have in the past...much more!), I am completely happy with my purchase and will use this tree for years to come.
Had to add more lights and flimsy stand, but worth the $104 I paid for it!
November 13, 2015
Pretty nice 6 1/2' tree for a shade over $100! It takes awhile to position the branches (as with any artificial tree), but it is full enough to make it look good and decorations will hide the trunk further - and I like that it isn't so full that you can;t put decorations inside close to the trunk, which really fills out a tree. The lights were a bit skimpy so I added 120 extra which makes it bright but not blinding. The stand is super flimsy as some have mentioned, but I used wire to secure the 4 prongs and keep them from folding in if the tree got knocked. The only thing I did notice is one spot midway on the tree has slightly longer branches and made it look like a bit of a bubble in that spot. I just folded back the branches and that took away the bubble. The flimsy stand is the main reason for not giving 5 stars.
Perfect small tree.
December 18, 2014
Perfect pencil tree. I really is very skinny, maybe 24in wide at the bottom, at most. Full once you spend a little time "fluffing". Pretty green color, unlike the picture. I'd recommend for a small room, corner, entry way etc. The top seems slightly bent to the right, but I'll have to play around with that after Christmas this year. May just need better fluffing.
Beautiful tree - not impressed with the lights.
December 3, 2014
We went from a 7 1/2 foot very full tree to a 7 1/2 foot "skinny" tree this year and I couldn't be happier with it. There is nothing to assemble other than putting the three sections together and shaping it. The branches are hinged so they move up and down for easy storage. This is much better than our previous sorting the branches by color, putting them in the color coordinated pattern, then hoping we did it right so they didn't fall out!The only downside is the lights. I was hoping for a pre-lit tree but it came with regular string lights all over it. There is no way to connect the lights together (no male/female ends by section) so you end up with 4 plugs sticking in your outlet. It took about 2 hours to take their lights off and put my own lights on. I would recommend you save the money and buy the tree without lights and add your own.

but overall I'm very happy with the tree
January 5, 2017
It did take quite awhile to fluff it out, but overall I'm very happy with the tree. I don't have a picture with ornaments and garland on it. Just the one after I put the lights on it. But you can see, despite a bit of glare from the lights, that the tree doesn't have a lot of empty holes in it. I'm looking for something to put around the base to make it look less like a stand, but I'm happy with the tree and would recommend it. The only con that I have is that the top branches at the tip of the tree aren't very strong. So it was difficult to put my star tree topper on it without it sagging forward. I'm thinking about connecting a rod to the base at the top so I can put it on that.
Good light-free tree
December 18, 2016
After many years of resisting, I finally got a fake tree. My hubby is a firefighter so he's not a fan of having a dead tree in the house. I really wanted to be able to put on my own lights. I like to have color some years and white others. So, I was happy to find this one. None of my local stores had a light-free option. The package came quick. The tree is sturdy and seems to be well made. When you first open it up, it will look terrible. You have to spend quite a bit of time "fluffing" it. by pulling up, out and curving each branch. That was exhausting. I also wish it had some texture variations, but all the branches are the same. However, especially for the price, it is a very good tree and I'm sure we'll use it for many years to come.
Nice, but lacking fullness
December 7, 2016
This tree is very pretty. It has a nice shape and assembled easily.Pack a lot of decorations on to compensate for slightly thin branches.Good value for the price.
Great tree!
December 3, 2015
Great tree. I grew up with a real tree every year. This is my first artificial tree. Looks just as real id say. Only thing you dont get the authentic smell. O yea and watering duties, loose pine needles, sap on your hands from moving it, and having to haul it in and out of your house every year. Ill sacrafice the great smell for the others lol because yankee candle can solve that for me anyways. Takes a while to fluff (me about an hour to get it to look how i wanted it) and i did loose some pine needles putting it up but overall a great and affordable tree.
It's a nice tree!
November 18, 2015
This tree is really nice and great for the price! I give it 4 stars only because during the daylight, the branches are a little sparse and not as full as I would like it to be. It was easy to assembly (only 3 parts to it) and the branches are already attached to the branch (not like other artificial trees where you have to manually insert them into their spots). Overall, I do love the tree and have received many compliments on it! I would definitely recommend this product to all my family and friends!
Right size, right price and looks great when decorated
January 2, 2015
I was delighted with this artificial tree. Before I bought it, though, I went to about a dozen websites to read about various artificial trees, plus I looked at several trees in local stores. Based on what I saw, this tree is a great bargain (I paid around $100).It was easy to put together and had no odor of any kind and did not give off any dust. Several "needles" fell off as I fluffed the tree, but that seemed normal. I did wear thin cotton gloves and long sleeves as I unfolded each branch and spread out the tips to look like a real tree. If you don't cover your hands and arms and your skin is sensitive, the material might cause some irritation. (However, I often get hives on my skin from handling real, live evergreen trees.) I made sure to vacuum up any fallen needles.Once you spread out the branches and tips, the finished tree does not look as full as the photo, but if it did, there'd be no spaces for ornaments to hang. Now, unlike a real tree, these branches can't really support heavy ornaments. I bent up the tips of several branches to keep my heavier ornaments from slipping off.In stores I saw other artificial trees that looked more like the photo, but they were three times the price of this one. If you need to have a perfect artificial tree, you owe it to yourself to shop in person to make sure you find what you want. However, with enough LED lights and ornaments and garlands, this tree can look fabulous.

Christmas Tree Ok, Just Ok
January 5, 2017
The height was perfect. The tree looked decent. I did stuff dark green net into the tree interior at several points. Ok, I have done this with real trees. But the thing that disappointed was the bottom section loaded with lights while the upper section on a separate string were sparse in comparison. I will add another string to the top.
Blame bad snow storm and unsafe and poor travel conditions
December 18, 2016
Tree arrived a few days late but as I stated in seller review, I cannot fault seller or UPS. Blame bad snow storm and unsafe and poor travel conditions. Tree is okay. Not as full as I thought and needs a LOT of fussing. I suppose once I put ornaments on it they will cover the see-through spots. I'm older and regular tree is too much to decorate. I do like the slender-ness of the tree, however, and it will be a breeze to decorate. I just wish it was a little more dense and/or fuller, but what do you expect for $90?
Charlie Brown, I think your tree was delivered here by mistake.
December 1, 2016
It's not a bad little tree, but it certainly needs a lot of love. The price seemed to good to be true, and it probably was. It doesn't look at all like the picture, and that rubs me the wrong way from a consumer standpoint to be sure.PROS: Nice size, fold-up branches. If you need a tree for a small corner, this is a good one.CONS: It's sparse, as in somebody grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around it in hopes it would grow more branches and more needles. It didn't work.BIG PROBLEM: NO OUTLET ON THE TOP STRAND FOR A STAR/ANGEL/WHATEVER. That was highly annoying, but WAIT! There's a fix to all of the cons if you're willing....I already had a lighted strand of garland, which was the same color as the tree. It had a plug on the end. I plugged my angel into it, filled in all of the gaps, and brought this tree to life.IT WAS A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!So if you're willing to re-utilize some additional lights and/or garland, you'll probably be okay with this affordable tree. If not, avoid it.
3 Strikes...game over
November 26, 2016
Based on reviews, I ordered and wanted to love this tree...but, it just didn't work out. Strike 1 - It was shipped USPS and had to go pick it up. Strike 2 - After opening the tattered box, I found the plastic covering split open on the top section where it fits into the middle of the tree. Seemlessly, I reported the issue online, ordered a replacement and Amazon sent UPS to pickup the damaged tree.I thought, finally a base hit when the replacement tree arrived quickly, this time via UPS - tree and box in perfect condition. Following the directions and a National Tree Co. YouTube video for tips for getting the fullest result - very helpful, btw. It all came together nicely, though, its more a slim tree than pencil. You should also expect it to take some time to get the individual branches fully open to fill in spaces. After all this, I was able to see metal hinges and the center pole. In my opinion, it needs more branches on each metal arm or fill it in with greenery and larger decorations. So...Strike 3. I decided to box it up and pay the $15 return shipping via UPS. At this price point, it's a deal for a metal hinged tree and believe it deserves a solid 3 star rating. In the end, I did tried to love it but knew over time it just wasn't for me. I generally don't write many online reviews but hoped my experience would be helpful to someone.SCORE - Amazon 5+, UPS 5, Tree 3, USPS 1... Me? -$15
I like the size of the tree
November 20, 2016
I like the size of the tree, it's small, we got it to sit on our coffee so I don't have to rearrange the furniture every christmas, which I always hated. Though when we plugged in the lights, I was so disappointed because the lights are all around the bottom, then there is a few on the top and thats it. There is huge sections of the tree that has no lights! Who put the lights on this tree? A 5 year old could have more evenly distributed the lights. So my husband spent a couple hours taking the lights off the tree, not as easy as it seemed, and put them back on, which is not what he wanted to do to a brand new tree. It was super annoying, and it made me hate the tree a little bit.
Do not buy this tree at full price!
December 10, 2015
So, this tree looks nothing like the picture (except for the slim shape). It's not as full or as shapely as the picture -- not even close. But, it is a nice tree. Just don't expect it to look anything like the picture, regardless of how much "fluffing" you do. This tree has also been steadily increasing in price since the beginning of November, when it was originally closer to $70. I paid approximately $90 and I even feel that was a bit too much. I would not pay more than $90 for this tree. Now that I have "fluffed" and decorated the tree, it definitely does the trick (especially considering this is my first Christmas tree!) but I would recommend waiting until the price drops again significantly before purchasing. One huge plus of this tree is the slim design. I do love that it fits perfectly in the corner of my townhouse. So if that is something you are really looking for, I would recommend this tree. However, if a slim design isn't as important to you, I would recommend another tree with a fuller look and significantly more "branches". I also noticed several of the lightbulbs (especially at the top) are cracked and broken -- almost cut myself on one! But luckily, the remaining lights seem to work without issue. I am giving this tree three stars for the broken lights throughout and very noticeable discrepancy between the picture and the actual product.

Looks better in the picture
February 23, 2016
Cheap material. Looks better in the picture. Probably get a few years of good use. The fake pine is really brittle and falls from the branches easy. Almost like it's made out of paper. If your looking for a long term tree, buy better quality.
Can't beat the price
December 27, 2015
The price on this tree was a steal. For the height and the style of the tree this should have been over $200. I would like to give it a better score but it's difficult to. There are a lot of bare spots in the tree no matter how much you "fluff" the branches. I think this is a great starter tree for a family or even if you are just getting a tree and you dislike the holidays. I wouldn't recommend it as the perfect tree in anyway though.
Not a full-looking tree
December 8, 2015
There a lot of gaps in this tree. I know how to spread branches so you don't see through a tree usually, but even after I did that with this tree, it looks sparse. You can see through to the other side. Pro - its very easy to set up and is a nice color, which is why I gave it 3 stars.
which is good for hanging ornaments
December 24, 2014
Not nearly as full as the picture, even after fluffing. Lots of space. which is good for hanging ornaments, but the amount of light passing between layers of branches makes the wires on the standard and LED mini lights I used really obvious and the symmetrical arrangement of the fold down branches really stands out since you can see right to the center of the tree in several spots.

About 100 of the 150 lights are all in the bottom 1/4 of the tree
November 30, 2016
Somewhat disappointed with this tree, as others appear to have been. It's not a "bad" tree, per se, however there were quite a few things I was taken aback by (not in a good way). Firstly, I don't know who (or what) they have applying the pre strung lights, but it looks very odd since about 2/3rds of the 150 lights (I bought the 4.5' tree) are all in the bottom half foot of the tree. The bottom of the tree looks amazing with the lights. It's just since the rest of the tree look anemic because there are no lights. Personally I didn't want to send it back over that ... I'm simply going to fill it in by buying a set of string lights and filling it in myself. I am annoyed I even have to do that though - that was the point of buying a pre lit tree. The next thing that led me to give it two stars ... you have to fill out the branches (obviously), but it took me over an hour and a half to do that on a 4.5 foot tree. Utterly ridiculous how much effort it took to make the tree ... look like a tree. This was due to whoever it was that wove the branches ... many branches where twisted around others like the twisty tie on bread bags, but not at the trunk. This was done all throughout the tree, so to get the branches to fill out in a way that didn't look like something Tim Burton would have made, I had to undo the horrible job whoever put this tree together had done to make it look right. Next, and I really feel like this is something the company should make clearer on their description ... this tree has two sections, so of course they need to be connected together. My main issue was with the fact they have two power cords - one for the top and one for the bottom, so there's no way for the top half's male plug to connect to a female connector near where the two sections meet when assembled. No ... you actually have to plug in two male plugs that run down the tree. Really horrible way to work the wiring. Lastly, no matter what I did I still have two larger empty spaces I could not fill because of where and how the branches were created on the tree. I turn the tree against the wall so those spots aren't in plain view, but I'm thinking a decoration or two could make the empty space fairly unnoticeable. The good ...? Once I did get the branches filled out, ignored the two empty gaps, and decided to add my lights myself ... the tree looks pretty nice. It's the perfect size for my apartment, and it should store well when it's time to put it away. I do like that's it's narrower than most trees it's size. Also, now that I've spent all that time fixing the branches so it fills out ... I shouldn't ever have to spend more than 5-10 minutes to do it again come next year, when it's time to take it out again.
Much shorter than expected.
November 27, 2016
It's about what I expected. but the 4.5 foot tree is actually about four feet, it looks like there's supposed to be a topper but wasn't included (there's a hole there to attach it but only a hole there.) So I have to figure out how to keep my star on the tree. I probably would have given three stars but I can't figure out how to contact the company to ask if there's a piece missing. Should be cheaper and clearly state what is included for each size.

Problem well first i open the box and start putting this supposed to be new tree together too find that this tree has had Ornaments on it at some point, found three ornament tops and hooks attached to branches. I put the tree together only too find a section of lights do not work. I did not purchase this as a used product but that is what i received. Very disapointed
Not made well
November 20, 2016
Although the width of the tree is great for small spaces, that's about all it has going for it!! Besides having a stand that we cannot seem to level so the tree wobbles(or maybe its not the stand but the tree itself!) this tree should have been described as a do-it-yourself one for being pre-lit! Many of the lights were wrapped around the core trunk so you couldn't readjust it or they were barely hanging on to the branches. There appear to be 3 strands of lights on this tree and the connector was very visible being on the outside of all the branches and again the way they had wrapped it, it was very hard to try to move into the center so that it wasn't noticeable. One of the branches on the bottom had come out of its metal locking mechanism so we had to hunt for the metal hook that held it in place but it really had broke so all we could do was put it in the opening and pray that it would stay together! And the light distribution is not very good either but again with the way they wrapped it - very hard to rearrange it. I guess the expression is you get what you pay for but still it would be nice if there was concern for quality workmanship. And of course I guess I missed the window for returning this by 1 week!!

This was utterly disappointing! I had read many reviews and it seemed most of the negative ones were for the 7.5' and that the 4.5' had positive ratings. The top section actually did look nice, but had very few lights and not evenly spaced at all. The lower section was pathetic. The needles are decent looking but overall a real disappointment. I sent it back.
Low Quality, Unstable, Flimsy
October 22, 2016
I was excited about purchasing this product due to all the positive reviews it had on its amazon page. I could not wait to get it, and start early on my Christmas decorating, and beating everyone before the crazy holiday rush.I thought that the price was an amazing deal, and well.... you get what you paid for. I was looking for a smaller sized tree that was tall and skinny and I do not like to mess with tree lights, so Pre-Lit is the only way for us. Unfortunately the tree is very flimsy and the base makes it rock and shake. The tree is divided into three components that you assemble together, but here is the horrible part, to connect the lights you have to plug all three sections together externally which is not pretty at all. Also the tree is pretty bald in many places revealing a great deal of its skeletal structure.Honestly a Christmas tree is an investment for 10 years and it is worth investing about 100 dollars more for something that is great. We did not bother to fluff the tree completely in our pictures because we could already tell the horrible quality.

Broke upon receiving
December 16, 2016
When I opened the box immediately noticed a Crack in the plastic and the end of one of the sections broke off. Box was not damaged so assuming the damage happened before shipping. I immediately returned. Expected a little higher quality for paying over $130

Disappointed, but not enough to send it back
December 23, 2013
This tree is okay. I mean, it's just okay. It seems sturdy enough, and was easy to assemble, but when fully shaped, it just seems to be missing any character or semblance of realism. I bought this tree based on rave reviews, and I am now wondering if they were written by real people. If you want an acceptable tree, get this one. If you are looking for a beautiful tree, keep looking.
disappointed

It's a great price, but you are definitely getting what you pay for. The tree is very sparse! It looks nothing like what is pictured.

Disappointingly poor quality Christmas Tree with exposed light wire (!) and bent branches.
December 27, 2016
This tree has been an absolute nightmare. We were excited to try it after reading such positive reviews. For starters, right out of the box, two of the bottom branches were warped when constructed, and tucked in at the base at 45 degree angles, so that they were jammed under the branches next to them. It's difficult to describe clearly, but suffice to say, they did not arrive properly folded, and I had to bend them badly to get them unstuck. The problem with this, aside from the bent branches, is that the tree's lights are strung on the tree body after the branches are folded up (apparently). So, the light strings were improperly applied to the warped, bent branches. When I forcibly extended the bent branches, the light strings were not wrapped around them at all. This means there are two glaring, dark spots on those bottom branches (the largest branches on the whole tree). It's very noticeable from close up and from a distance that the tree's lights are all screwy. To top it all off, one of the light bulbs on another part of the tree had apparently broken off at some point during the manufacture process, or during packaging. As I worked on fluffing the tree to see if it was salvageable, my finger brushed against a bare light wire, and I got a nasty electrical shock. This was the icing on the cake. The tree itself looks fairly cheap. It's not the worst looking fake Christmas tree on the market by any means, but it certainly doesn't look like a quality tree up close, either. My fiance and I went into this excited and looking forward to a new pencil tree for our home. We're walking away from this whole experience disappointed. The tree did not make up up for the holidays; we ended up purchasing a real tree on short notice after this one failed to live up to basic expectations.Look elsewhere for a good pencil Christmas tree. This one has quality control issues.
Should be quick/easy... NOT my experience
November 30, 2016
We received our pre-lit tree today. Three problems right out of the box:(1) When I opened the box there are loose light bulbs laying throughout the tree branches and on the bottom of the box... I am hoping they are extras thrown on top of the tree rather than my having to find all the empty receptacles and plug them in.(2) Speaking of "plugging in", there are three sections to the tree and the lights from section above are supposed to plug into the section below. I can not find an outlet on the bottom two sections to plug into (as the directions so clearly state should happen). I guess I'll have to use multiple extension cords to make it work. Not the end of the world, but I will have to buy at lease one and I'm hoping they don't show running down the middle of this small tree.(3) The biggest issue is the box does not contain a tree stand. I have no way of setting up the tree without it. I tried to call customer service as the card in the box suggests... but I got hung up on twice automatically before a human gets on the phone. Coincidence or planned? I'm not going to try again... I'll talk with Amazon instead. This is supposed to be a quick and easy setup in preparation for Christmas. I've now had to waste time calling the company twice and writing the review... and still not setup. I hope a stand can be delivered quickly so the family can get on with enjoying the season.I'll update this review depending on the outcome. At this point I would not recommend this product based on my experience.

Very disappointed! The tree is perfect except that there are minimal lights on the top half. The bottom half looks beautiful but the top half has 1/4 of the amount of lights. 👎🏼

November 26, 2016
The base of the tree has a "female" pole end that is not compatible with the "male" end of the bottom of the middle section, so there is no way to assemble the tree. Seriously disappointing to have my Christmas decorating plans ruined by having to return this tree.
Rip off.

What a piece of junk. The tree comes in 3 sections, with the middle being fatter than the bottom making it look extremely awkward. I tried everything to get the middle section to fit on the bottom and it didn't work, with each end of each section being a different shape there was no way that was happening. When I finally accepted this and decided to make it work anyway, the awful lights were the nail in the coffin. Each section has lights but I could not for the life of me find the connectors to get the lights connected to each other. So basically each section needed to be plugged into the wall. It made no sense. On top of all this the stand is extremely flimsy. I can see someone turning the tree while fluffing or trying to find the non existent light connectors and the arms of the stand move causing the tree to fall. The whole thing is stupid. I rarely return anything to amazon but this definitely went back the next day.
Exposed Wires - Ouch!
December 3, 2015
This tree just came in today and its underwhelming so far. It doesn't feel very steady or secure. Yes, I followed the directions. There's not as many lights as I thought it would have. The color is the same old drab plain green like every other tree and this one looked lighter/more vibrant in the picture.I was almost done fluffing the branches when I felt a sharp pain and a shock to one of my fingers that made me scream really loud. It hurt really badly and I could not believe what happened although I could not see why. I was so thankful one of my kids (8 years and 4 years) did not touch it!!!When my husband got home, he was trying to figure out what shocked me and then we figured he would find the reason one of the sections wasn't lighting up. The picture attached to this review is what we found: a missing socket leaving exposed wires. If you choose to purchase a tree by this manufacturer, please beware. There are no extra sockets, just extra bulbs.
