| Looks cheap.August 26, 2015 I'm actually disappointed. There are small knicks in the tip, brand new out of the box, like you would get from running into sharp rocks. The look of the shovel portrays poor quality. On the plus side, The shovel blade seems to go up into the handle, which is fantastic! I have snapped shovels off from the handles before, because they didn't go far enough into the handle. It has a nice big scoop, you can move a lot of dirt at once. | | I gave it a two instead of one star because ...May 30, 2017 I gave it a two instead of one star because I bought two of them. One snapped at the metal joining the handle on the first dig. Snapped right off. Metal had serious flaws in it. The second one has worked ok, but we are leary of it doing the same thing. Time will tell. Two StarsJuly 6, 2015 The handle is too large for my hand. OK, but has 2 fatal flaws.June 30, 2015 Good trowel for light duty use but there are two big problems. First, the hole in the handle us in a terrible location. When pushing hard to bust sod or hard soil the hole is very uncomfortable. Second, over time, the rubber starts to peel off of the handle and gets uncomfortable. I am currently looking for a replacement. |
