Bought this for my baby and now she is two and she still using it is a 4-1. The crib grows with your child and is made of quality wood. But the piece that holds the mattress is made of plywood and breaks easily. I just replaced it with another piece of stronger wood. You can get one at Lowe's , home depot. Just have the measurements and they will cut it for you. all you have to do is sand it down.
A smart buy for reasonable parents
August 26, 2016
This was easier than I thought to put together. It comes with an allen wrench, but it helped that I had a hex bit of the same size on my drill. That sped up the process a good bit. The instructions are good and the pieces are clearly labeled with stickers (Part A), (This side faces the inside), etc.The crib looks nice and at very reasonable cost. For the money, I think it is an excellent buy. The one thing that might differentiate this from higher dollar items is there are some holes visible where the bolts go together. I guess you could try to find caps for that somewhere, but who cares? This is for your infant son or daughter and they won't remember what the crib looks like anyway. Get this and save money to use on more important stuff.I bought this open box on a Warehouse Deal (Like New) and it was perfect. I don't think the previous person even opened the package. Everything was packed perfectly and no damage whatsoever. Another Amazon steal!
Good quality and I loved it!

My baby is 15 months and she still using the crib, this crib is so nice and you can adjust it for a actual bed for kids. It's very easy to fix/adjust when you train them to be in a regular bed. This one is made in wood dark brown, good quality and it will last you awhile. I think I will still use this for my next baby. I like the price its just right and I would say I'm a happy customer. I will recommend this to all especially to those who have little ones. If your looking for a good size crib and last long, better pick this one and you'll loved it!
Excellent crib and a good deal!
December 12, 2015
So after reading countless reviews of many cribs in the $100-$200 range, I decided to to go with this crib since the price was so reasonable. I read many reviews of cribs in this price range complaining of paint smells coming off of the crib. This crib is made with real wood, and yes has a stain, but I could not notice any alarming odors coming off of the crib after assembly as many have noted.I realized after reading through hundreds of reviews that any crib in the $100-$200 range will pretty much be of similar quality, with similar quirks. This crib however, I did not find any quirks or complaints with and was actually less than similar cribs from other manufacturers. Directions were easy to follow and all hardware came included in a sealed clear package with cardboard backing that indicated what size and letter each section of bolts was. Not bragging, and yes I come prepared and am handy, but this crib took me literally about 25 minutes to build by myself.Package arrived in great shape and product was not dinged, damaged, or scratched in any way. The bolts and lockers felt to be of appropriate strength metal and felt very robust. This crib has the far superior metal spring mattress holder as compared to similar models that have a cheesy particle board shelf. When all was said and done I had a very nice crib for my daughter.I would highly recommend this crib to anyone searching in the $100-$200 range.
Great Crib and Company
July 31, 2015
This crib is excellent for the price! It wasn't too hard to put together and took maybe 30 minutes to an hour. The directions aren't exactly the BEST, but they aren't too horrible. I personally didn't notice a smell when I took the crib out as other reviewers have. Either I just got lucky or the company listened to the reviewers and changed some things. One small "gripe" I have is that when I got the crib, I noticed that ONE of the parts was in the wrong color. I originally ordered the Espresso color, but one of the pieces came in the gray shade. I am still giving this crib a five star review though because all I had to do was go on the companies site and request a replacement part. They were so amazing that they literally sent me TWO replacements for free. All I did was send them a photo of the crib I ordered and the part in the wrong color. I am so happy about receiving two replacements because the piece that was originally in the wrong color was the piece that a lot of kids chew on as they get older. Now I have an extra replacement for when it get's chewed on bad enough. :) Oh and the replacement was at my house within the week. Totally awesome.
Stork Craft has made some changes to this crib.

I'm writing this review to clear up some issues that the manufacturer has seemed to address in older versions. My wife and I received 2 of these as shower gifts since we are expecting twins. The box is pretty large and weighs around 80lbs. You should definitely assemble the crib in the room you plan on keeping it in because it won't fit through a normal doorway. It took me 50 minutes to assemble the first one by myself and about 30 minutes to do the second one.We got the Espresso color which is VERY nice. There was no weird chemical smell to either of them. It's possible that's something the manufacturer has addressed, or maybe it's not an issue with the Espresso finish. Either way, we were relieved to find they smelled fine. There were no scratches on any of the parts and everything was packaged really well. No missing screws either!THE PARTS ARE ALL LABELLED! Many older reviews mention that none of the pieces are labelled, but they are now!The mattress support has been changed from a solid flat wood panel to a lightweight metal and spring mesh which feels well-made and is easy to mount. According to past reviews, the older version had the instructions glued to the wood panel but now you get a separate instruction manual that is kept in a large plastic envelope zip-tied to the spring mattress so you can keep it safe until the next time you want to readjust the bed size.My wife and I are really pleased with how nice these cribs looks and how solid they feel after assembly. We definitely had our reservations considering how inexpensive they are compared to the cribs you find in the store, but honestly we're really happy.I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to scratching and chewing but that's an issue we'd have with any crib. The wood doesn't appear to be overly soft so hopefully it'll hold up for a long time. For the money, you really can't beat the quality here.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this crib. So cute, I put it together by myself (pregnant) in under an hour. The directions are easy to follow and the hardware is delivered in a way that makes the process a breeze. I am so excited for our little one to enjoy it as much as I am (already!)
Recommend it highly.

Just love this crib. Good size, easy to assemble and dissemble. Our infant just loves sleeping in it. It is very light weight so you can move it easily from one room to another. The color is good too. It is very sturdy.
Surprised by how high quality/sturdy this is!

Great quality! Very easy to put together. I really love this crib! I am always a little weary ordering things online but I was not let down in the slightest with this purchase!
Love it
February 2, 2016
It took a few minutes to figure out how to put it together, but hubby put it together in about 30-45 minutes without much issue. It looks beautiful to me! Plus, its a better price than other more expensive cribs, that do that exact same thing. Happy with purchase.
Beautiful at a great price!

We needed a crib within the last month of my pregnancy... Our diy project was falling apart.. But this turned out to be great! We were pleasantly surprised at how much we love this crib. Comparable ones are twice the price... We looked everywhere. With shipping to your door in two days, you just can't beat it!

Bed arrived in excellent condition! The box that it was shipped in had a few dents; however, the bed frame was not damaged. Assembly was very simple and all parts were present. The overall quality of the bed is superb! The wood color matches the picture; however, it does have a hint of red in the wood similar to cherry. Overall, we are happy with the bed and its durability.

Very Nice Crib
August 3, 2016
We received this crib in white as a gift from my mother. The other day my husband and I decided to put it together and it wasn't that complicated as some people say. It took us less than an hour. When we open the huge box (which was ripped in some places from the transport) I was worried that there may be damage or pieces missing but the inside box was carefully isolated and protected - everything was there,in great condition and no toxic smell. It is sturdy and we really love how it looks - can't wait to receive the crib mattress so I can set it up and get it ready for our baby before he arrives. The wood is not the best quality, it seems that it will scratch easily but come on, for this price it is one very nice crib. The reason I gave it 4 starts is because I haven't use it yet. But will come back for an update after several months of use.
Good value!
June 19, 2016
Overall a good buy. I did need help to get the box up into the babies room, but that is expected for a piece of furniture! It comes with the tools you need to assemble and isn't that complicated. If you're not handy, you might want to have someone help you. Don't let that scare you too much as it would be hard to put this together wrong.I was a little nervous about setting up a crib for the first time, but after you take a look at everything, you realize there isn't much to it.The only reason for 4 stars instead of five is that there are two pieces that make the top rail on the front of it and they are not tightly connected together and can move a little. It's not really something you can see, nor is it a safety concern at all. It's just something that bugs me a little that you might notice when leaning into the crib to pick up your little one.
Nice looking crib, soft wood
September 7, 2015
We got this crib for my son and it has served us fairly well for the price. The finish is nice and it's very easy to find furniture that matches because "espresso" is so common. It has clean lines but the wide panels on the front and back give it a little more interest. As others have noted, the instructions are glued to the platform that the mattress sits on which makes it impossible to lose them, thank goodness. We found that my son could climb out around 18 months so not long after when he made a habit out of it we turned it into a toddler bed with ease but unfortunately he hated it. I guess he learned his lesson because we turned it back into a crib (it's super easy) and he stopped climbing out for a while. Just before 2 he was ready and we made the transition to toddler bed but the little piece that helps keep the kids from falling out didn't feel super stable so we just skipped it and he's done great. Now he's outgrowing the crib sized mattress so we're looking to move him up to a full bed and I believe we'll just keep this same bed as long as we can find the rails to convert it.One thing that kept me from rating this 5 stars is how soft the wood is. I know you get what you pay for and this crib has an excellent price for how nice it looks but the wood is pretty soft and it dings easily. My son never was much of a chewer but he did make several teeth marks on the front rail and he has scratched the wood a few times by sleeping with toys. I don't mind because some day I'll be happy to see the marks that he made when he was just a baby but if you want the crib to stay pristine then you'll want to get some kind of a guard for the front rail and be careful about how your kiddo plays on/around it. Other than that it's great and I would recommend it.
I love design and color
March 19, 2015
I love design and color. It pretty same as shown picture and we satisfied a lot.The product is very simple and easy assembly.Don't worry you just need to read instuction but it will take an half hour for assembly.
Stork Craft Tuscany 4-in-1 Stages Crib, Espresso
May 30, 2014
We tried to cancel this order but was informed immediately that we were not able to. I was definitely a little disappointed about that but we could have refused the package anyway. I personally had never heard of cherry espresso as described by others and thought it would be dark brown when I ordered it. The box was damaged and because of that, left a gouge about one inch on the panel we placed on the back of the crib (yes you have a choice). We obviously kept the bed and touched up the damaged area with red mahogany stain which worked perfectly. Otherwise, the bed looked great and was packaged very well. We are very pleased with the color and it was similar to the picture shown on amazon but very even toned unlike the picture shown. Thankfully I see more brown than red tones which makes us very happy. I know this crib has been given high marks by others above a lot of other cribs which I did not know when I ordered it. Overall, nothing these days seem to come undamaged, it did come from one side of the country to the other for us. We got a mattress elsewhere that left less than a 1/2 inch gap but that is no big deal. They can be no more than two fingers to be safe. You have to allow for sheets and so forth. Overall, we LOVE the crib and believe it to be a good purchase and will match up with a black table changer. My husband makes anything easy to put together even without his glasses, lol. Goo Gone helped remove the stickers without any damage to the finish. We rinsed with water afterwards.
Love this crib for the price that I've paid for it
July 19, 2013
We started looking for cribs as we are expecting our second baby in August. Most of the sturdy ones have been priced more than $400. Finally after lot of deliberation and doubtful I've ordered this crib.Positive aspects:1. This one arrived much before the promised date2. All the pieces are in tact and no broken ones (had few scratches on one of the wooden piece)3. Instructions are glued to the holding board, which made it very easy to assemble and also one less hassle to store it4. Assembled in an hour (with the help of a Friend)5. Crib looks sturdy (on a carpet floor) and is not very heavy if I had to move it6. Finish is quite good and smooth. Easy to clean when it catches some dust7. Mattress ordered (from Amazon) has fitted perfectly. No complaints about it8. No springs at the bottom (in future one less issue to worry about my daughter jumping in it)Not so positive:1. L key provided with the spare parts was not that easy to use as we had issues with few screws not fitting well. But I had some extra ones which helped me out2. When using the L key to tighten the screws a little harder it kinds of starts breaking the corners of the wood. Which I did not expectOverall satisfied with the purchase and once my lil one is out , will post an updated review

Cribs
September 16, 2017
Good, as advertised. Looks great. 4 stars because ours arrived with a large dent in the wood frame right on the front. I know this isn't a direct issue with the crib but still worth noting, the wood is very soft, however, it is real wood.
Easy and affordable.

Just what the babies (and parents) needed . It was easy to assemble, all the parts and complete instructions were included.Looks and feels well made. We expect to get years of service from this crib.
Nice easy to assemble crib
June 16, 2016
This crib was easy to assemble. I waa lookibg for the conversion piece and I am guessing that it doesn't come with. It would have been great if the model number and price for the conversion piece came with so it could be ordered. My grandbaby is not here yet for me to speak of her comfort.
No Instructions!
March 25, 2016
Very sturdy and great quality. Only issue was it did not come with any instructions on how to assemble it. Luckily it wasn't overly difficult if you've put any furniture together before but it would have been nice to know which bolts where for which holes.
I was apprehensive about buying a large piece of furniture from Amazon but the crib came undamaged and was easy to put together
January 20, 2016
I bought this online after going to my Babies R' Us to buy a crib. The crib at the box store was warped and the parts would not fit together correctly. I was apprehensive about buying a large piece of furniture from Amazon but the crib came undamaged and was easy to put together.
All good!
May 5, 2015
So far very pleased. Baby isn't here yet. The assembly was fairly simple. The hardware was all clearly marked which helped a TON! There were no imperfections in the wood/paint job that I could tell. Feels sturdy. Product as described.I'm not looking forward to lowering the mattress in the future though. Not going to be a very simple process. Of course, I've never owned any other crib before so I don't know how it compares to others.Overall very pleased and the price was good, too!

Really good value crib but can't attach to bed.
December 30, 2015
I really like this crib it's sturdy and was so easy to set up I did it with a little help when 8 months pregnant! It's a beautiful design and the cherry wood color matches so well with the rest of the dark wood furniture. But it didn't fit the purpose I needed it for.I wanted to not attach the front railing and connect the crib to my bed to make nighttime feedings much easier with my newborn. However, not only is the highest mattress stage too low for our bed's height the curvey design on the foot of the crib gets in the way and gives a very large unsafe gap between the two mattresses.By the time I had realised the crib was complete and I couldn't be bothered to disassemble and send it back. Ended up using it like it should be which is great too.
Frustrating Assembly
June 23, 2015
I put the crib together last night. The crib is solid, and was delivered without any missing or damaged pieces. As you can imagine, there are many pieces that must be assembled. And this is where I had issues. Instructions are on a single sheet glued to the base of the bed. On one hand, they listed all the parts, including details about the various screws, washers, etc. Kudos so far. What they don't tell you, however, is that the wood pieces have definite left/right or front/back orientation, and you really can't tell on your own because the pictures in the instructions aren't precise enough, and there are more holes in the wood than required. Presumably, the extra holes are there for different versions of this bed. Consequently, unless you're lucky (and I wasn't) you might find yourself taking pieces apart and re-assembling to get the orientations right. All they would have had to do would be to indicate that a piece is right or left and maybe put a colored dot on the piece. As such, it took me about 3 hours to assemble the crib, when it maybe could have taken an hour.
Quantity vs. Quality
May 21, 2015
Okay, so here's the deal. I bought this obviously via amazon everything shipped fine all the parts were in the box. However, my husband and I noticed some damage to one of the front pieces that looked like it had occurred during manufacturing since it was already painted over. Another issue is you will be obligated to assemble this item which requires all the pieces to be marked in which case only two of the packaged items were marked with stickers to help with assembly. The rest of the stickers were completely painted over. One particular piece to this crib was not manufactured right and almost did not fit into the correct position per the instruction manual. If you intend on buying this crib just be aware that once you buy this item you can not return it. Instead you will be left with a phone number for a service desk that will try to replace the defected part. While assembling this product my husband and I did question the items sturdiness but ultimately decided it would be sufficient until the baby reaches 50lbs (which is the weight limit for the crib).
Missing Piece
April 6, 2015
Low review due to missing piece in package - in the process of attempting to work with Stork Craft on sending missing piece sooner rather than later. UPDATE: The replacement piece was shipped fairly quickly (I think I received it within 2 weeks of initial complaint to manufacturer) - HOWEVER, once piece was received, the pre-drilled holes did not align correctly and since my husband is handy was able to drill corrected holes without damaging crib. The crib itself is beautiful and sturdy and everyone compliments it when they walk into the room - THE MANUFACTURER NEEDS BETTER QUALITY CONTROL.

July 31, 2014
You know, when I first bought this, I loved it! Thought it was stylish and pretty and I loved that it was a 4 in 1.However.... it is not a 4 in one... It is a 3 in 1 and not that good of a one.The label states that you have to buy a supporting mattress frame and attach the frame using the bolts provided for the double (or regular) bed.Wait... what? Then what good is it? I still have to buy a mattress frame for the double bed which means I can only use the frame "as is" for 3 different configurations. I have not gotten to that part yet, so maybe that is normal for a 4 in 1.Now lets talk about the Toddler Bed...The manufacture messed up. It does not fit where it should fit. There is only one position for the toddler bed and that is the higher up attachments. Which means that when my daughter turns around in her sleep and falls out of bed, she has a lot higher to fall. The rail to keep her from falling out of the bed is as it shows maybe 18 inches; my daughter is just very active in her sleep and does not stay So I tried to put it in the lower position so if she does fall out of bed, she doesn't hurt herself. But you can not put the mattress frame in the lower position for the toddler bed.The metal things you have to put the screws in to hold the mattress frame get in the way of putting the rail on the toddler bed.You can not screw the rail in place; the screws do not reach because of the 1/16th of an inch off due to the mattress frame brackets (Metal parts) making the whole toddler bed unstable if you choose this option. So I currently have the toddler bed jury-rigged on the lowest setting with the screws in the holes but not screwed in, because I can't have my daughter hitting her head if she decides to fall off the bed in the middle of the night.
Nice crib - needed to use a bumper
January 22, 2014
The crib is certainly very nice looking and not too bad to put together. The two major flaws I found were:1) The board used to support the mattress is pretty flimsy and my daughter is essentially sleeping on a curved surface (the mattress arcs). We will be replacing it with the springboard from her old crib which has more support.2) She is able to get her legs stuck in between the slats. This has made for multiple late night screaming episodes in which she gets her leg in between the slats (put through sideways), then cannot get it out (once she turns her leg so the foot points up). This problem has been solved with a crib bumper but I know many families that prefer not to use them especially for very young babies. For these reasons I would probably not buy this crib again, though it's not so bad I'm running out to replace it tomorrow.

Fairly easy to assemble
June 9, 2016
Fairly easy to assemble. We have had it from day 1 and it seems durable enough. Baby has started kicking the slats in her sleep now at 6 mths and they make noises but don't seem to hurt her legs. Have not purchased the conversion kit for toddler bed, but would be curious to see if that really works. Nice appearance and design.
Assembly was easy and going so well, but then...
May 31, 2016
I went to insert a nail into a hole only to realize that the hole wasn't drilled all the way thru. It was a thick section and this whole "easy assembly with just a flathead screwdriver" scenario turned into a "break out the drill, hmmm...don't have a big enough drill bit to widen the hole, I'll try anyway...Hmmmm not working....off to Home Depot to buy a drill bit, back to work". Cost me valuable time and extra money. Really not happy about that. Can't even tell if the crib is any good since I haven't made it beyond the drilling yet. I don't have a good feeling about this drill so far though...
Poor Quality
January 9, 2016
I purchased this crib for my mother's house, so that my child would be able to sleep there comfortably without being in a pack and play. This product was very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, after it was put together, I came over to put her in it to sleep. She bangs on the rails as she normally does to make sounds and you could hear the rails shake because they are so flimsy. I could actually lift and move this crib around, it's that light. These issues make me feel uncomfortable about her safety because it just plainly feels cheap and poorly made (or poor material). I would not purchase this crib again or recommend to somebody else.
Nice crib for the price

Nice crib for the price. The rails of the crib rattle when my daughter bumps into them at night-- clack clack clack every time she rolls around. She doesn't seem to notice but it's kind of annoying on the baby monitor

very easy to put together
August 25, 2015
Pros: very easy to put together, would've been less than an hour but I'll explain that in the cons. Finished product looks top quality and is very sturdy. Nice piece of furniture to be able to grow with your child. Instructions were easy to follow and very straight forward.Cons: this would have taken less than an hour but one of the holes in one of the legs of the crib needed to be drilled out a bit more as it wasn't deep enough for the bolt to thread into the leg. With the finish on this crib we had to be extra careful because the wood seems like it will scratch easy. Another con is the backside rail, the holes that were drilled for the wood pegs to fit into were drilled inaccurately, they were a little too high so the back rail doesn't sit flush on top of the backside of the crib.In the end the end product looks nice, it looks high quality for the price and is very easy to put together. Reason for the 2 stars is I shouldn't have had to take a drill to this to put together and the drill holes on the backside of the crib were off by at least 1/4 inch. I would recommend this especially if your looking for a nice looking and sturdy crib for less than the crazy high priced pieces in brick and mortar stores. Just be aware that imperfections are almost a given with a piece of furniture this low priced. Good buy if on a budget
Do not buy espresso, horrible chemical smell.
December 4, 2014
It seems to be a cute, sturdy crib...BUT, the chemical smell is terrible!! Another reviewer stated "buyers just don't know what new furniture smells like." Uh...no. This is not "new furniture" smell. This crib has a very strong chemical smell. I've cleaned it with vinegar, soap, water, etc. I let it air out for two weeks! Nothing has helped. The smell is so strong, I can taste it when I walk into the baby's room. I'm not letting my precious babe sleep with these crazy fumes.
Adequate
July 6, 2014
Adequate, but the front rail lifts off the lower slats just slightly. It is nothing more than cosmetic, but it bothers me enough to write a two star review but not disassemble it and return it.
Crib pieces weren't properly quality checked. Currently stuck with a bunch of un-assembled crib pieces. UPDATED
October 7, 2013
The footboard was drilled improperly so the piece can't be assembled with the rest of the crib as instructed (the headboard which is practically an identical piece was fine). Now I have a bunch of crib pieces propped up against the wall of our bedroom and have to wait to get things ready for our soon to be born daughter.I'll update this review if their customer service is prompt and apologetic in getting me a replacement piece.Update:It took two weeks of back and forth emails and phone calls with their slow customer service before Stork Craft managed to get me a replacement part (which they didn't even bother to ship express). There was another piece that wasn't drilled correctly but it was still functional. The crib itself is fine but having two pieces improperly manufactured and waiting two weeks to hear back from their slow customer service to get a replacement part is unacceptable. I only bumped this review up to two stars from my original one for the quality of the crib itself but I would recommend looking elsewhere for a crib from a more reliable company.
Came damaged
January 4, 2013
I was really excited about this crib after reading the reviews. I put it together today with my teen age boy with ease. It took awhile but the instructions were great and easy to read. I was extremely disappointed when I opened the box to discover major marks and dents in the wood :( At the price I paid I expected there to be no marks or dents. I did contact amazon customer service and was very pleased with the resolution. The rep was friendly and very helpful. Great customer service amazon!
Total disappointment
September 3, 2012
I just unpacked and assembled the stork craft tuscany and I am a very disappointed buyer. The two stars go for the look because it does look really good, but that's about it. It was not very simple to assemble and it took nearly two hours to get it up. The worst part is how delicate the crib is. I wonder how you're expected to use it up to the full bed stage. The material is of very inferior quality - never mind it's wood - dents very easily and in my case, broke during assembly! To some extent, I have myself to blame because other reviewers already mentioned that the material is very inferior but I chose to ignore such comments and went along with those who surprinsly gave it five stars. Unfortunately I got it shipped abroad so I guess I have no claim to any replacements. If all you want is something that looks good, then buy it. But if you want something that serves the purpose then do not consider this crib.

It rattles
March 21, 2017
It is noisy. All the bolts are tightened and put together well, but when you touch the bed it rattles. Great for when you spend an hour getting your child asleep only startle them awake by touching the thing you have to lay them in. Even better if you child likes to, I don't know, roll over in the middle of the night?! One stray arm hitting the rails makes the wood rattle. The bolts are exposed, giving the nursery a nice industrial look.

The product looks nice however, when it arrived it had few damages. It was few dents and misscolorations. I didn't exchange it since I asked someone to come over and put it together.

Mis-aligned holes
December 18, 2015
First, I instantly found out the Part B and B1 cant not be assembled because the holes were mis-aligned holes. I am contacting the customer service for solution right after I found out the defeat. Also, the order was delay for 3 days. The review will be updated after the issue is solved. I ordered this product because it has very high rating and price is very reasonable. However, there are many 1 star review on Amazon.Update - 12/21I received Email from their customer service. They tried to know more details of the issues. On the other hand, I felt they think I must do something wrong. I tried to explain the holes won't line up. I provided information they need and picture which is hard to illustrate holes won't line up.Update - 12/26They ask me provide more detail information showing which parts can't be assembled. I read the instruction and exactly follow steps on the instruction. Also, I checked all the parts and used the other part on the other side to exam the issue. The part A has issue too, but still can be assembled. The part B can't. At this moment, I feel very stressful because I want to return the item when I found out they can't be assemble, but it is very hard to put every single part into the box. I therefore contacted their customer service. However, it takes more steps to figures out issues for them. It is very annoying to do this during the holiday.

The base of the crib broke 18 months after we purchased it. I am unable to purchase the replacement part from the manufacturer.
New update to the crib is horrible!!!
February 9, 2015
This crib use to be fantastic. I have twins so originally I bought one, and they shared.Originally the crib came with wood type area to put the mattress on. It was sturdy. My 6 year old climbed in pretending to be the baby and I was NEVER worried.I got the same one (EXACTLY THE SAME) and it now comes with a metal spring area to hold the matters. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap.Do not buy this since it's not worth your money. I'm highly disappointed and will speak to my husband about returning this for a more quality crib.Rather pay twice the price for something that will work that something that's cheap and is going to fall apart.
Terrible, toxic smell - don't buy this crib!
January 28, 2015
DO NOT BUY THIS CRIB. It has the most toxic chemical smell I've ever smelled -- so much so that I had to come and write a review, although I never do that. As soon as we opened the box, our whole apartment reeked of petroleum. We let the crib air outside for two days before putting it together. It still stunk. We then kept our windows open in our baby's room during the day with the ceiling fan going, even though it's the middle of winter. That didn't help. It was totally stressing me out to think that we were letting our kid sleep in something that smelled this bad.We are going through the hassle of returning this crib but I can't believe that a company can even sell a crib that is THIS toxic. I know that some reviewers are saying theirs didn't have the smell but don't take your chance.
Strong Chemical Smell
November 19, 2014
Based upon current customer reviews, about two percent of the cribs arrive with a strong chemical smell. I am one of the two percent.I isolated the parts in an empty room and have been running two air purifiers (HEPA Filters with baking soda) for four days. The smell has lessened but I still would not want to put my (or grandson's) nose close to it.If the smell hasn't cleared by next week I will be looking for another crib locally for the family Thanksgiving visit.I can't comment on any parts or assembly issues as I'm waiting to see if the smell clears or if I have to repack/return this lemon.
Stank of chemicals, never used it
October 11, 2013
I am not sure why Stork Craft still has this crib on the market. Once built it have off a highly toxic smelling chemical odor which engulfed the whole bedroom and hall way. We dismantled it straight away and left it outside for a few days to air out, which it did not. We ended up having to buy another crib (Graco), which was the same price but didn't stink. This chemical smell goes beyond a "new smell" and will not go away. Don't waste your time or money.

Horrible Chemical Smell
September 4, 2017
Summary: Do not buy this!!! It has been over 8 weeks and the horrible chemical smell is still there. In preparing the nursery room, I ordered this crib and assembled it the day I received it.From day 1, this crib had a strong chemical smell.I thought the smell would go away after airing it out for a few days. That was wishful thinking! The smell was too strong that it filled up the whole room and caused mild headaches.I disassembled it and let it sit outside for 4 weeks (yes, 4 whole WEEKS!! _NOT_ 4 days) and then brought it back to the nursery room and assembled it thinking the smell would have been gone by now. Again, wishful thinking! It did not improve one bit and it smelled just as horrible as from day 1.I disassembled it again and now I have it sitting in the garage. And whenever I walk into the garage, I can smell the horrible stench. There is no way I would put my baby in this foul smelling crib. The smell is causing mild headaches to adults, think what it can do to tiny babies.I wasted countless hours assembling / disassembling this crib and letting it air out outside / bringing it back in and trying to find the source of the smell, cleaning it by wiping it down several times, tried using coal to soak in the smell, etc... I have tried everything. It has been over 8 weeks now and I am ready to give up.There is no point wasting your time with this silly nonsense when you are already busy with your newborn.Take my advice: Don't buy this junk, save your time, go find a different brand.

rail damaged, several small hardware accessories missing,i am so disappointed that after check so many comments i decided to buy this crib, but it seems i got a returned one,i DO NOT have time to buy another one,so maybe this is why amazon sell broken or returned crib!?
I really liked it. It was nice
April 18, 2016
When we first got this crib, I really liked it. It was nice, easy to put together, and seemed like it was pretty good quality. However, now that my baby is older (6 months) her legs are chunkier. Today she got both of her legs stuck between the rails while she was face down, and it was extremely hard to pull them out. It was a very scary situation, and now her legs are bruised and painful. The railing gaps are obviously too far apart...babies legs should not fit through them. I will no longer use this crib and I am trying to get in touch with the manufacturer. I would not recommend this crib to anyone....it's not safe.
Noxious Paint Smell- Thumbs Way Down
March 30, 2016
We ordered this crib for our seven month old baby. We put it in the room with him while waiting for the mattress to arrive. By evening time, noxious paint fumes filled the room. I should have read more reviews, and that's why I'm writing this one; so other people won't be surprised. I'll be sending it back, since apparently it takes a least a week for the smell to go away. How is that remotely acceptable for a baby (or any human being) to sleep with paint fumes?!
Unbearable Chemical Smell
January 27, 2016
We were very excited to receive this crib but right away opening the box it was like a chemical bomb exploded. We still assembled it thinking the smell would subside over night but no, the smell was still so bad the next day that if you sat in the room for more than 5 minutes you had a headache and eyes were burning.Would NEVER put our baby in this thing, returned it next day. I'm guessing it has a lot to do with using low quality white paint. Our next crib purchase will be made out of natural wood with no paint. Very disappointed.
Cheap quality, not reliable.
December 12, 2015
Its looks fine, a bit difficult to assemble, but its quality is cheap. Paint of this bed is coming off very quickly, I cannot return it as its been a difficult to dissemble it. So I have bough rail covers to protect my baby to eat the paint. But it was a horrible experience and I will not buy delta product again. I have also complained amazon to look into this matter as it is related to baby's health.
