Giant breakfast biscuit maker!!
March 15, 2017
UPDATE after multiple usage:I've used the pans for cakes and biscuits and cookies so far.The little circle at the bottom is nice for cooking exactly 1 cookie... which is something I actually do from time to time lol but my absolute favorite daily usage of this pan is biscuits!! If you want a large 1 serving biscuit (4 inches as you know...) just plop the dough in here a bit more than half full...about 2/3s really, and it will rise to about 1 cm over the rim. Of course the rising will vary by recipe, I only make simple cream+selfrising flour biscuits. Anyway..these are divine! they are the perfect size for making a big ol breakfast biscuit sandwich, or you can cut a bowl out of it and fill with chicken noodle soup or whatever savory dish you like with biscuits. I just like single serving items since my family doesn't enjoy biscuits the way I do so I fill all 3 of these with dough... then freeze... then bake the entire thing pan+dough! They are not super strong though... one of mine is a little bent after traveling in a tote bag with no support, still works for me, but if you're making something that uses runny batter like regular cake I'm not so sure this is a long term solution, more like 1-5 uses ...then maybe 5 more with some fixes (wrap with foil, line with cookie sheet, etc)Used 1 time so far... for a basic vanilla cake. My kid wanted a blue birthday cake and I really didn't want to food color a huge cake ...so just did a tiny one. I know it varies by recipe but I filled about halfway and it came just over the rim which was lovely.I let them cool for 15 mins then released the clasp and they didn't stick. I also oiled the pans with vegetable oil. Cleaning these will require a bit of soaking or creativity to get the tiny crevices.
Adorable, and they work well.
February 1, 2017
I love these so much. I used them to make my mini Christmas fruitcakes. They're practical, a great size for 1 or 2 people and they work really well.
I like cake
January 27, 2017
Used these for the first time today. When they arrived I thought they looked too small, as I wanted to be able to make small cakes to give to some of my friends who would never be able to eat a regular sized cake. But when I baked a cake today, I felt one layer would be fine for a everyday cake for someone, two layers for a couple, and three layers for a special cake. The cake baked up beautifully, came out of the pan beautifully and pans cleaned up beautifully, except for the cake that got caught in the curled edge. I may still buy a 5" pan, just because. But very happy with these, cost and utility of them.
dont fill these up, as they are bigger than "individual size"
July 31, 2016
I purchased these to make individual cheesecakes and red velvet cakes for holidays. These work great and add an elegant touch to any dinner party. However, please keep in mind these are not individual size for a normal person. My family of four share one of these. My father who is a big sweets eater, can only eat half of one. Since, the first time I used them, I have learned not to fill them so much. This makes it a much more manageable size to consume. Unfortunately, one of the pans was a little less round than the others. I'M OCD so it bugs me but I really don't think anyone has noticed once the sweet treats are out of the pan. Also, if you make something like cheesecake with graham crust, do not leave them in the pans for more than a day. The crust sticks and is hard to get off the pan cleanly without ruining the look of the treat once it's been in there too long.
Make sure you measure twice! Small! but otherwise great, a bit hard to clean thoroughly
May 24, 2016
These are small!! Just make sure you grab a ruler right now and get a sense of how small these things are. I knew what was getting into, since I wanted to make some nice small cakes (so that I wouldn't have to eat a huge one by myself and instead I would be able to give away two out of the three). The cake pans are nice and solid, and for the price I couldn't ask for more. They are not perfect as some tiny bits of batter leaked from the bottom, but that wasn't an issue at all.One thing I do not like is the fact that the batter will get into these nooks and crannies at the bottom of the pan, and they are VERY hard to get to to keep these things clean, especially after the cooled down batter has gotten caked in there.
Great mini cheesecake forms!
September 27, 2015
Perfect!I ordered these with the intent to use for making Paula Deen's pumpkin cheesecake in mini form for my sweet neighbors. There's only 2 of them, so they don't need a huge dessert, but I wanted to bring them something. I'm a pastry chef by trade, & these are some of the best non-stick pans ever. The springs are durable & seem sturdy enough to withstand frequent use. I'll also eventually use these for miniature mousse cakes. Wilton is not my preferred pan brand, but I would both recommend & purchase these again. If my review helped you, please click "yes". Any questions you have, I'd be happy to answer as well.

I love WILton products but I have not opened this yet. After researching I came to the conclusion that this would fit in the Instant pot, which it does, but it's very small. I was hoping for a closer fit.

August 11, 2017
The pan works great! I noticed that mine leaks when I fill it with water (I don't know if that's normal or not), but it didn't leak at all when I made a cheesecake in it. It really is nonstick, although I don't think lightly buttering/greasing the pan before using it would hurt anything either. I plan to reorder this pan in additional sizes.
Great for cheesecake!
August 7, 2017
I bought this to try my hand at making cheesecake for my husband and I, not knowing what to expect as I've never used one. It's a great size and works as you would think it should.
It's the perfect size for me
April 23, 2015
It's the perfect size for me. Its circumference is smaller than a standard pie dish, but it's deeper, so I adjusted my baking a bit, but used the same recipe. It's crazy how I fell in love with this. I bought another brand's springfoam in a larger size and was very disappointed with it, so it took me awhile to make the leap and try another springfoam. I'm so glad I did. I see that they are not all made the same, despite how similar they look. I didn't spot any leaking, but I did line it with parchment and wrap the bottom with aluminum foil, just in case. That really is best practice for bakeware like this. It's much easier to snap on and off than my other larger springfoam. I get very excited after my first bake with this. It's a keeper. I find the size and shape to be adorable. I'm glad I took the plunge to give springfoams another chance.
You will love this pan!
January 15, 2011
I usually make my cheesecakes in my 9" springform pan. I wanted these 6" for gift-giving at Christmas. I absolutely love this pan. I bought 2 of them and made my recipe for my 9" pan. Split the recipe into the 2 pans and used the same amount of cooking time. They came out delicious and SOO Cute and Adorable. The quality of the pans are excellent. No leaking. Washed up great. I am sooo happy with these and you will be too!

They're also not that easy to clean around the bottom of the ring
October 29, 2017
These work well. I've had a blast baking little cakes in them! As other reviewers have noted, they do leak a little bit. They're also not that easy to clean around the bottom of the ring. There's a small lip that's curled under and collects leaked batter. I have to go at it with a brush for a minute to get all the little pieces out. But you know, they're cheap, and they work fine, so OK.
they appear to be good quality.
April 13, 2017
In all honesty, they were not what I wanted or expected, but that is my fault. I haven't used these so I can't say how well they work. However, they appear to be good quality.
I personally think they're a good sized cake portion for two or three people
August 18, 2016
I've used these a few times for making individual mini-cakes for family and friends. I personally think they're a good sized cake portion for two or three people. They're exactly what I expected and more. I really enjoy the size. I really found these handy especially since this is one of my first springform pans. I did not however enjoy the little crevices of this pan because it would get a lot of batter stuck in it, making it impossible to clean. I spend well over 10 minutes with a toothpick trying to get all of it out. It's a huge hassle. It has leaked small amounts but not enough for me to see it as an issue. Overall, I really enjoy having these pans but beware of the clean-up.
Mini pans, big treats!
August 8, 2015
Product was shipped as pictured and described. I found they had an odd smell when I received them, but, after soaking them in soapy water and washing they were okay.I haven't used any other brand mini springform pans to compare, but, I didn't experience any batter leak and my cheesecake minis removed cleanly from the pans. Cleaning these pans, like any springform pan just requires a little extra attention at the crevices where the bottom attaches; a non-scratch scrubber will do the trick.
Good pans, but they leak a little
February 16, 2015
Cute little pans, but wish I'd bought the 4 pan set. Made Christmas cakes for the neighbors and they were the perfect size. 2 per house worked great, but that meant multiple rounds of baking. They leak some, but I always place my springform pans on a cookie sheet.

Nice but rusting
September 18, 2017
Perfect size for my IP but rust has started to build in the lip where the base sits. I'll likely replace this with the domino one that sits flush.
Great Pan
September 13, 2017
This worked beautifully for the cheesecake I made. Did not leak as others mentioned. It washed up nicely too.
Great Quality but A Little Leaky
June 6, 2017
Great quality pans and I'm so thrilled having a 6" pan finally! However, although I usually have a tiny bit of leakage from springform pans (Wilton), this leaked more than usual which at first was disappointing. I usually wrap my pans in foil with wet paper towel sheets around the pan so it didn't leak completely so it wasn't a complete bust.
Lip, cant get all the delicious crust
April 29, 2017
We got this to make cheesecake in our Instant Pot and it fits and works well enough but therd js a lip on the bottom that makes it hard to slice and get all the crust. Next time I would pay a few $ more for Fat Daddio which doesn't have a lip and the bottom is completely flat.
Really Great! No leaks!
August 6, 2016
The first time I used it, it leaked while it was in the oven. I have never used a springform pan so I don't know if it is common for it to leak. However, it is still a great pan.Edit: so I guess I didn't tighten it well the first time because now it doesn't leak
Very nice non-stick pans
June 1, 2016
I ordered three, and these little pans are great. Nothing can stick to them! The textured bottom and the coating just make them very slick. The only downside is that there are open seams in them where batter gets into very easily. These are not the regular indentations, but gaps between sheets of metal that go very deep. It's hard to clean cake out of there, and I'm worried it could be an entry point for rust.I think the gaps are a minor concern, however, and I am happy I bought these!

some pieces didn't quite fit perfectly
September 19, 2017
I bought two sets. Two of the six total pans don't fit tightly, but they have worked OK enough and not spilled into my oven.
Good product with some faults.
January 17, 2017
This is a nice little product - it looks exactly like pictured and makes great cakes. The size decrease does create some issues with baking and they aren't appropriate for every recipe - I've found some recipes actually take longer to cook and result in an under baked inside and very over baked outside. Additionally, they are easily misshapen and since the ringer closes around the outside of the bottom plate, they have a tendency to leak a fair amount - not enough to change the cake but enough that a sheet pan underneath is necessary.Overall not a bad buy - I've used them tons and will continue to do so.
You Get What You Pay For
March 19, 2016
As an avid baker that is trying to open up my own bakery, I was hoping these pans would live up to expectations. However, I guess you get what you pay for. After washing in very hot water, the pan started to deform from a circle to more of an oval. It got a little worse after I baked a cheesecake in it.I made a special cheesecake where I needed to bake a brownie on the bottom first and that mix did leak through the pan. The only way this doesn't leak is if you have a graham cracker crust high enough to cover the crease.I figured for $8, it would be worth trying out and my conclusion is that although these aren't totally useless, they are not good enough quality to use for professionals or even for serious bakers. I would recommend spending the money and purchasing a better quality pan.
It's okay
March 1, 2016
I baked a few mini cheesecakes in these, one of the pan warped after the second use, but it's not too noticeable. They do leak though but what springform pan doesn't! I secure the outside of the pan with foil so water doesn't seep in and for cakes without a crust, I secure the inside with spray and parchment to prevent cake batter leaking out a little. This is my first and last springform purchase. I think I'll stick to my regular cake pans. It's really easy to release the cake from the edges with a small offset spatula.
Not so hot.
July 8, 2014
I'm pretty sure I'll be throwing these away after my daughter's first birthday. These have gotten a lot of use in the past few weeks, as I'm trying to perfect an actually edible gluten-free birthday cake for my daughter's first birthday. I purchased these for this purpose, and initially thought they were pretty awesome. They make the perfect size cake. I can use a regular sized cake recipe and it distributes excellently between all three pans. They are certainly non-stick, and I have yet to break a cake in removing it from the pan.The first signs of discord appeared when I tried to clean them the first time. As other reviewers have noted, cake batter tends to leak a little around the bottom edges of these pans. This didn't impact the cakes in any way, but batter got baked into all sorts of little nooks and crannies and crevices of the pans. This was NOT easy to clean. What prompted this review is that the batter leaking issue seems to be getting worse with time. The last two times I've used these I have had to take down my smoke alarms while baking because batter has dripped into the bottom of the oven and burned there. I will attempt to solve this by putting the pans on a cookie sheet in the future, but I'm a little worried that this will impact the even baking of the cakes.
Touch to get the graham cracker crust off the bottom
March 16, 2014
I like the size, and they certainly are sturdy, but I made mini-cheesecakes in these last week, and only one of the graham cracker crusts survived coming up off that diamond patterned bottomed intact. There is a definite lip to that bottom piece, and that, coupled with the diamond pattern just made it tough to get the crust off in one lovely piece. Don't think I would order these again for cheesecake, although they may work beautifully for a regular cake.

I a obsessed with these, they are adorable!! I've been using them to make the small size of my raw vegan "cheesecakes" and they are working perfectly. The reason I give it 3 stars is because I just noticed that one of them was starting to get some rust. Luckily it is in-between the detachable part and doesn't effect my food since I am not pouring in anything that thin.
Disappointed with quality
January 31, 2010
I have always been completely satisfied with the Wilton products I've purchased previously. They are usually top quality in how they are manufactured and perform wonderfully. However, this springform pan was definitely not up to their normal quality and I was quite disappointed. The edges were rough and there was extra metal around the ridge. There were also two 'cut-out' grooves on the bottom-they likely serve some function, but I couldn't figure out what. This was bought as a gift for my mother, and when she took it out of the package she almost cut her fingers on the rough edges. It seemed likely that this pan would end up cutting fingers and snagging dishrags so I returned it. I will still reccommend Wilton products in general, but not this springform pan.

Out of shape when they arrived.

I ordered this from Amazon warehouse and was disappointed with them when they arrived and all three were bent out of round despite the description of being in good condition. However the size was just what I wanted and will be nice to make single serving cheesecake desserts.
Damaged
June 20, 2017
These would be great for so many things however, my 3 pans were all bent and mishapen when they arrived. I tried to use them anyway and the batter leaked out into the oven. Hmmph
Maybe the thicker batter will work better.
February 23, 2017
I made frittatas in these and some of the egg leaked out. It was disappointing. I went back to using Pyrex. I haven't tried cheesecake yet. Maybe the thicker batter will work better.
VERY disappointed in them
February 3, 2017
These have rusted after the first use even after thoroughly drying them, so it seems at the bottom of them. VERY disappointed in them.
It works but it's not a perfect circle or anywhere close to one
December 22, 2016
It works but it's not a perfect circle or anywhere close to one. It looks pretty oval to me. This is on all three of the set that I got so maybe it's a defect in the factory.
Severe Leakage
January 23, 2016
Makes such cute and tiny cake cheesecake, but the butter in the crust nearly completely drained from the pan. I wrapped the pans in foil to prevent water-logging, but that wasn't enough.I plan to buy mini cake pans and line them completely in parchment (see the Alton Brown video on YouTube that demonstrates how to make a cheesecake) and hope for the best

August 8, 2014
One of the three that I purchased a month ago has broken. The clasp won't stay closed. They work great but I'm just waiting until another one fails me. Granted I use these for work which means I use each one about two times a week, maybe they just aren't cut out for professional kitchen use.
First Timer

I was very excited in buying this springform pan, as it is the first I buy. I got it today and I noticed it had a dent on the side of the the removable bottom and the springform. I made a cheesecake and the butter leaked out (a lot of it). I think this is a great pan & brand yet that dent really messed up my pan. I dont know if it was made during shipping but I wish I could get this fixed. Any tips?

Leaks
September 5, 2017
I used this pan to make potatoes au gratin in my Instant Pot and it leaked. The potatoes were nowhere near the top of the pan so I know it didn't bubble over the top. There were also telltale signs of leakage around the outside bottom of the pan. I should have heeded other IP users and gone with the pan they recommended (a different brand), but I have many Wilton baking accessories and they are generally pretty reliable. Sadly, this one failed so I returned it.
Broke after using twice in InstantPot and hand washing both times
July 17, 2017
I have used the pan twice in the 6 months since I bought it and washed it by hand both times. I used it both times in my InstantPot to make cheesecake. The bottom rim expanded somehow, and now the spring won't close properly to keep the floor inside the pan. It is no longer useable, and I will have to replace it.

Worked good for the first cake I made in it, however it broke after one use. Can't get it to stay shut anymore -- had nothing to bake my sister's birthday cheesecake in. Not good quality.
Leaking from the bottom after only 3 uses
July 25, 2016
Only two good uses of making a cake and now it leaks from the bottom and all over the oven floor. I attempted the same cake I had made on the first two uses twice and each time, cake batter spilled out from the bottom. Unfortunate because the first two uses where it worked, it worked really well!
Extremely Leaky, Poor Design = Difficult to Clean
July 5, 2016
This is by far the leakiest springform pan I've ever owned. I know that all springforms leak a bit, and I've tried using wax paper, brush on melted butter along the rim, and various other methods, but none has worked to prevent water from seeping into the pan during baking. In addition, there's a gap in the outer part where, as other reviewers have pointed out, cake batter easily leaks into. I've had to spend at least 15 minutes to carefully clean the pan after each bake.Overall, a completely unusable springform pan. It's going into the trash.

February 16, 2015
My three pans leak and make it impossible to remove cake without damaging it due to 5 mm rim the bottom of the cake sits in. Properly constructed pans have a flat surface to slide the cake off. They are going back. What a waste of time and good ingredients to have a mess in the oven and three wrecked cheese cakes.
