Best Product Ever!
July 3, 2017
I have been transferring to t-shirts for over 7 years now and this product performs flawlessly. This is no doubt the best transfer I have ever used. Period.I use a heat press set at 325 degrees for 60 seconds and the transfer is miraculous.Absolutely the BEST!Let Cool for at least 2 Minutes before peeling.
Works Great!
March 12, 2017
These were pretty cool. I work in an anime store where my co worker and I decided to make Team Rocket cosplay outfits. I received these and on a Friday night drug the iron up to work and used them. I was a little mean and made Victor go first but, they were easy to use ..easy to follow instructions and they looked really cool and were so much easier then me trying to make something to sew on the front of his shirt/my dress. Will definitely buy again if we need more!
Beautiful shirts with Avery Transfers
July 26, 2016
My daughter and I made such great T-shirts for her students for Pre School graduation. Avery is excellent and their online template program was very easy to work with. If you want to design shirts all you need is the program (which is free) and Avery Transfers.Very easy to do. Use your printer to print out your design, place your shirt on a sheet, place the shirt down and place another sheet on top. This is what I found the works the best for me. Iron evenly, wait a few minutes till the transfer and shirt cool and peel. Wash the shirts inside out for keeping the vibrant colors. Recommended !!
Great for Tote Bags
May 26, 2016
I used these to customize totes for our wedding Welcome Bags. They were used on a natural cotton material, a little stiff, not stretchy at all and they worked GREAT. I was really nervous as I bought exactly the number I needed, and I was afraid I was going to mess up. Reading some of the not so great reviews made me apprehensive, but it could not have been easier and they came out looking better than I had expected! Of 36 bags, we literally had zero rejects!I printed graphics and words with a lot of blank space, and there is some "halo effect" but I honestly think it would look weirder if I had cut it out. I think it looks just fine, it does not bother me at all. I can see how if you were doing a shirt or something with ONE graphic in the center and a lot of blank space, it might look odd, but I think for a lot of applications, you don't need to worry about that.
Easy to use and good quality
April 9, 2016
These were super easy to use. We made personalized bags as part of our wedding favors. The directions say to make sure that you cut rounded corners and to keep the iron on it for 3 minutes if using a full-page image, focusing on the edges and corners. And make sure you print in mirror image, otherwise it will go on backwards. It also says to wash the garment before using, but since I don't anticipate the bags ever really being washed, I didn't bother. If I had made a shirt, I definitely would have. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of these, and I'm so excited to give these out as favors at our wedding! I now have other projects in mind using iron-on transfers.
Time tested good product.
March 10, 2014
I'm a graphic designer, coach various kid teams & always seem to be making shirts for them. I began using the Avery transfers in 2010 & have some shirts that have been through the wash countless times since then. Never had a problem & the colors seem to last amazingly well over time. Other than using only white or light grey fabric & a good quality shirt, my tips would be:1) pre-wash the shirt (I've used cotton & 50/50) & tumble dry.2) Plain paper final review: ALWAYS look at your design through the back of the paper (hold it up to a window or bright light) & make sure all of your text has been mirrored & the design looks good.3) Print the final design using the best quality your printer can output.4) Trim close to the printed parts but leave a bit of a margin - 2mm'ish. Don't cut so close that your design falls apart or warps while you are ironing. Round off points, if even a little.5) For fine designs that have been cut to the flimsy stage, cover with a sheet of parchment paper in the beginning of the ironing to get it stuck down. The parchment can be removed to finish the ironing. Baking parchment will not stick to this stuff & can get pretty darn hot. Do not use waxed paper or regular printer paper: they do not like to get hot.6) Follow the package ironing instructions. Simple as that. I use a cutting board on the floor so I can apply good pressure. For sleeve designs, my hubbie made me a little block of wood that fits inside. He cut a small groove on the bottom for the seam so the wood lays flat.7) After I peel the paper off I lay a piece of parchment over the whole design & give it a final hit with the iron. This seems to really set the transfer into the fabric & gives the most natural feel.8) If you can plan ahead, it's good to give them a final rinse with a bit of vinegar in the water to set the dye. Line dry & tumble on low to soften the whole shirt. I've never had the nerve to do the full heat dryer before the 'event' but that's my own weird thing. My worst experiences have come from using a cheap, lightweight shirt, using transfers that were too old or had been exposed to moisture (they did work though, just needed some extra tlc), or using a shirt color other than white or light grey.Love these things, just ordered 18 more. Buy them, have fun.

fun for projects and easy to use.
Great product. be sure to cut the image out
October 12, 2016
Great product. be sure to cut the image out. Do not leave excess white around the edges of the image. Hold the iron on longer than expected. Prior to peeling the paper off of the fabric, allow the paper to cool completely. Also, put a fabric (a pillowcase) or something between the iron and the paper. Make sure when you print the image (if it has words) that you do the mirror image so the words are backwards.
Definitely worth it, and I'd buy it again
September 18, 2016
After reviewing the other customer comments I was a little worried, once I received these though the directions were straight forward and the printing was easy. I easily ironed it on with no issues and did NOT ruin my iron.Although both sides do look the same the picture description of how to feed this paper into the printer makes it easy. There's a little corner missing out of the paper and that's what you use to tell what side is what. The extra paper around the image you print practically disappears when you iron it on, I tested this on red fabric and couldn't even tell there was extra around the edges. I haven't washed it yet but I just need it for a first birthday shirt for my niece so that's not really a concern of mine. All in all, worth the money and definitely good quality.
Amazing results.
April 29, 2016
The instructions were easy to follow and the results were great. I printed images to be ironed on to six inch squares for a quilted wall hanging. Every image came out perfect. The colors are bright and clear. Be sure to use the mirror-image print option, particularly if your image includes text.
Works great!
April 17, 2014
I used these sheets to make my daughter a 5th birthday shirt. They worked wonderfully. Some have stated it is hard to know which is the printable side. However, if you read the directions, it shows that the cut corner distinguishes sides depending on tray feed of your printer. Once printed you are ready to go. Peeling the paper off is also much easier than other brands I have used.Tips:- set printer to specified settings for paper and printing quality.- remember to set printer to mirror image.- if printer does not have mirror image setting, check printer properties. There will be an option for type of paper. In there, choose T-shirt Transfer Paper. This will set printer to mirror image.
Looks good but you really need to know what to do...
October 13, 2011
I flubbed a couple shirts with this before I got the hang of it. I know I should have used a practice cloth or something but I used $5 Target shirts so it wasn't a big deal. The quality of the transfer is great. My painting and the text looked amazing. Great product once you get the hang of it.Here are my tips:1-Use a light colored shirt. No joke. Light grey is ok, but don't use a darker grey. The printer doesn't print white so it uses the paper or in this case t-shirt color to brighten things. A Dark color will show through and dull your image.2-Use a really really hot iron. I tried using a cheap iron and it didn't melt the glue enough. Get it really hot and melt that glue into your shirt. Don't let the iron sit, but move it really slowly.3-Let the thing cool! The instructions say don't let it cool too long, but I found it better to let it go. I did run into a case where part of the glue hadn't set right, which I noticed while peeling. I just put the paper back over it and ironed it some more and it was fine. I was very glad.Hope these tips help you out. Maybe it'll save you a few shirts :

Great for some quick printing.

They work fine. You're not gonna' beat a printing shop as far as quality goes. But it gets your graphic out there! Be sure to let the ink dry before you wear. It will run when wet!
Great thing to buy to save money on have t-shirts ...
April 11, 2017
Great thing to buy to save money on have t-shirts made!! if you buy this you can make the shirts yourself. I brought this to make shirts for my family. I was able to design the print myself and print it off on the t-shirt transfers. REMEMBER to read the instructions. you will have to use a small home printer because the BIG printer will melt the paper. Great for white shirt only!
You need to apply A LOT of heat for it to nicely stick to the fabric
March 8, 2017
These transfer sheets get the work done. You need to apply A LOT of heat for it to nicely stick to the fabric.Once applied on the fabric, let it cool down WITHOUT taking the back paper off if you want a glossy finish. After washing the fabric, the transfer is still on.It breaks up and peels very easily if you stretch the fabric so make sure you iron it to a part where wont be stretched.
It was very easy to iron on and did not have any issues ...
August 12, 2016
I purchased this product to make tshirts for my son's birthday party. I used a red shirt and my image was all black. It was very easy to iron on and did not have any issues with the transfer not sticking on the shirt. I set them overnight to dry and they looked great. The only tip I would give is to cut out the image as close to the image as possible as there will be a shiny border around your image if you do not do that. I tried the first shirt with a slight border because others suggested to do that, however I did not like the shiny clear border that was left. The next shirt I cut out right along the image and it still transferred well and looked a lot better. After months of washing, the image still looks good, but the transfer has started to wrinkle slightly. It served it's purpose and I would recommend.
Great! but pay attention to the directions
March 30, 2016
This product works as it is suppose to. I bought some of these and some of the dark shirt transfers. If you have the extra money to spend, get the dark shirt transfers, but if you are just using this on some fun white shirts, get these. Or if you have to use transfers on a lot of white clothing, get these. Do not use these on dark clothing. It will not work. I would say anything white, or very light would work. These do not print out white so if you have something white on the picture you are printing then it will come out clear with the white background of the shirt peaking through, which is fine if you are using a white shirt. The instructions on this are easier than the instructions on the dark clothes transfers. On these, basically all you do is flip it over and iron the back. (still follow the directions, this is a very basic summary)I went to the Avery website and used their software to help make my designs. You will need to flip it backwards for these shirts and if you use their site it does that for you before printing.I think, unless I have to make a lot of white shirts, I will probably go with the dark shirt transfers from now on, but these work just as well.
Very easy to use and look pretty good
April 12, 2014
Let's face it, you're going to get what you pay for. That said, these are still better than their price would make you think. Despite the bad reviews of transfers crumbling on first washes and colors bleeding, I had none of these issues printing, transferring or washing my preschool aged daughter's t-shirts after scoffing at the prices of t-shirts featuring some of her favorite characters (not that I advocate anyone else stooping to my level). The images aren't as bright as commercially printed t-shirts or even as crisp as the stuff you can get the drug store to print, but it's about 85-90% as good. Considering how much cheaper it is to DIY, that's a pretty decent investment in my book. There are no ICC profiles out there, so if you're really intent on getting the best color, you would need to calibrate the transfers yourself. Unless you happen to be a legitimate photographer or graphic artist, you probably don't have access to those tools though (not to mention how much money you'd be wasting just to get one T-shirt colored correctly).Just follow the instructions thoroughly and always have a HOT iron while ironing (heat and pressure are your best friends in this process) and you'll have no issues with this product.

With patience and know how, good product

This produce is exactly as described, didn't work for me or my project but that was probably my fault, I am impatient and you need patience to use.
Never had a problem; though wish it wasn't shiny
April 3, 2017
These transfers work great. I've ordered/used them before for a student project, and I ordered them again recently for use in personal projects. They apply clean and easy if you follow instructions, and I've never had issues with the printing quality (note: I'm not using a "basic" printer). My only complaint is that due to the nature of the transfers, the image and space around the transferred image has a shiny appearance.
FOLLOW the DIRECTIONS!
December 12, 2015
This product worked fine for SATIN. Take your time, and use a table top to iron on. Also, I might note, that my iron kept turning off as I was working. I suppose I kept it on the fabric and at such a high heat that the elves in my iron decided it was not safe. So, keep an eye on that. Wait a minute or so and slowly peel the paper off. Make sure to use all cotton pillow cases. The poly blend one I started with , began to melt. I covered my project with a pillowcase to iron and I noticed some ink on the pillowcase, too, so you might want to use an old one. On the darker colors, I used fusible interfacing under the transfer. As others have noted, its impossible to know which side is the printable side, so I just followed the directions and loaded the paper as instructed. For this reason alone, I may seek another brand of transfer paper next time. The photos attached show: purple cape with interfacing underneath, and green cape without interfacing
transfer sheets for making labels for quilts
November 17, 2014
Not exactly what I wanted, as I don't like having to reverse (mirror image) to print on fabric. I make my own labels for my quilts and prefer the regular printing type. (Could not recall the brand name I had previously used)The service was great. My package came within two days and was well packed in a box (perhaps not necessary ) to prevent the sheets from being bent. Probably could have been mailed in an envelope. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer, is to put some indication on which is the "printable" side vs. the back side as it is a bit difficult to tell just by looking.
Fun, Cheap, and Durable
August 6, 2012
I purchased this product to make some cheap t-shirts at home. The product is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. Be prepared to know how to reverse an image prior to printing as the print will need to be the mirror image of your picture for correct transfer. THe process takes about 30 minutes to create a shirt from print to iron. The shirts that I have made have lasted at least 50 washes, and have faded a little. However the fade gives them that nice rustic, vintage, look. Worked great with an HP inkjet printer. Works with a laser printer as well but may not always have the best quality (and be sure to print on the correct side).

Fun, but visible frosty background
August 31, 2017
MUST use highest iron setting. Used on white shirts, very visible frosty background. If you trim the design as instructed, its VERY obvious. Recommend not trimming at all. More expensive products do not do this. Must use Avery's site to make the image. There are many great fonts, tho. Still fun, but doesn't look professional.
Not the best
August 2, 2017
Used these on stuff felt for classroom felt board stories. Did not not work nearly as well as another brand I purchased at the local craft store. Takes 3 min of ironing on each sheet (other brand took 2 min) and don't seal well. Some needed even more ironing and I'm worried they will peel as soon as they are in the hands of kindergarteners! I will be purchasing the other brand next time.
but was disappointed how quickly the quaility of the picture crumbled
May 22, 2017
Transferred the pictures well, but was disappointed how quickly the quaility of the picture crumbled. My daughter wore the tshirt after it was made and cooled, for about 6 hours. At the end of the evening, it looked like she was wearing a crumpled paper on her chest.
Good for one time wear
April 2, 2017
These worked great to make bachelorette shirts for my sister. I gave three stars because after a couple washes they did crack. I also needed to cut them closely to the font and pictures because you could see the clear transfer on the pink shirt. It was pretty much invisible on the white tank. For one time use shirts it was well worth it as we saved a bunch of money instead of ordering custom ones off etsy.
Directions DO NOT cover lettering!
March 16, 2017
Works great and Avery is a trusted name in quality home printing products. My only complaint with this item is the directions for it are not very clear. It does not give you any directions on what to do for words. Which that is misleading because using it for tshirt transfer you are likely to have words. So that was disappointing. I figured it out though but, just to warn those that may not know how... the package will not give you any directions for that.
Nice adhesion after transfer
September 10, 2016
Nice adhesion after transfer. Only problem I had was that a pink color bled out of the design regardless of the color of the design. The pink bleeding went in the same direction across the transfer sheet. I printed several different logos on each transfer page and every logo on each page bled light pink in the same direction on each sheet. That obviously was disappointing. The bleeding occurred immediately after printing and became gradually worse until ironing. I was using a canon printer with canon ink so it wasn't some off brand knock-off ink cartridge.

Will ONLY work on light colored shirts.
July 6, 2017
Keep in mind this will only transfer on light colored shirts. They work the best on White shirts. Anything darker than a really light grey will not be vibrant or show through on the shirt. The directions included in the package are fairly easy to follow just make sure you put in the transfer paper in your printer the right side up. Don't Forget to mirror your image either if your design happens to have words. I used this to make shirts for my group of friends for St. Patty's day and since we've all only worn it for the day I can't comment on its durability after a couple washes. But be careful not to stretch the design too much as it will break. When ironing on it does take awhile, make sure to apply even pressure on all surfaces. When you start peeling do it slowly, if there is resistance and some of the design isn't coming off, leave it and iron over it again.
Transparent background!
March 13, 2016
I need to print white type on a black T shirt for a school project, so I was looking for transfer paper that would transfer white if nothing was printed on it, and according the questions asked about this product, they said it would leave a white box on a black shirt (since this is for light colored shirts). So I ordered these and of course it's transparent so nothing showed up on my black shirt, and I got a bad grade lol. Obviously not the product's fault but in case anyone needs NOT transparent paper, don't get this.I gave it 3 stars for not specifying whether or not it was opaque or transparent.
Mediocre, but here are some suggestions that may achieve better results.
January 20, 2016
I'm going to preface by saying that I really, really wanted to like this product. I combed through reviews hoping to find enough to justify my wishes for this product, and honestly I think I intentionally overlooked the poor reviews because I wanted it to work so badly. I'm a dog trainer who also runs a nonprofit all-breed dog rescue. I try to keep costs for my training business at rock-bottom lows so I can use the profits to take in more dogs. My team was in need of new work shirts and I thought I could save by trying this product on some generic shirts. I figured that the cost savings over having shirts made would allow me to vaccinate more dogs, so....I really wanted this to work. In the end, the quality just wasn't there. It may be the fault of my cheap iron - I did see some reviewers mentioning use of top-notch irons, but I simply have a cheap, get-the-job done iron. Nonetheless, when it came time to remove the paper backing it ruined a good part of the design. I was able to use some fabric glue to salvage it a bit, but in the end I wouldn't buy this product again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone who can't afford to waste several garments hoping for a good run. I will add, that the following things may achieve better results that my trials: #1 - the description says light colored, which I interpreted as white and light-colored fabrics. However, when using this on light grey shirts the black areas of the transfer sheet are very visible. It's probably best on white garments only. #2 - The instructions say to use an ironed pillowcase as your iron base, but I found this only added another layer of "slip"; the best results were when I used the padded ironing board. #3 - the insert instructions you to wait 1 - 2 minutes for the sheet to "cool" before removing it, warning that if it cools too much it may be tough to remove. "Cool" is an understatement. Wait the 1 -2 minutes and the paper will still be hot - put on some gloves to make the temperature tolerable and go ahead and remove the paper even though it isn't technically "cool. #4 - If the transfer paper backing doesn't come off smoothly - do NOT attempt to line up your design and give it another go with the iron. This will only make it worse. Instead, carefully peel off whatever didn't transfer and apply it to the garment with a bit of fabric glue (if you have some). I've included a picture of my best attempt, wherein I still needed to use fabric glue. Hope this helps anyone who decides to give this product a try.
Not for dark clothes, works okay
January 19, 2016
I purchased this to print and iron my daughter's name onto her school uniforms (so we can find them in the lost and found).Beware that these do NOT work on dark clothes! I didn't realize there were different ones for lights and darks... when I was a child they were one of the same. I'm not certain that this "updated" version is much better. Some peeled off with first wash and had to be reapplied. They also cannot be peeled off if desired, which also doesn't work well for my purposes.
Good price & fast shipping, not so good product :(
September 16, 2014
Shipped fast, good price but not too impressed with these transfer sheets, I have a great Epson photo printer and the pictures came out really nice on the transfers, transferred fine to the fabric but started to crack after the first wash even though I followed all directions & even put the t-shirt in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection. I think this would be best on canvas totes, aprons, etc.. but not items you wear and wash. Looks like I will be looking at investing in a screen printer!
NEEDS BETTER DESCRIPTION - WHITE / LIGHT FABRIC ONLY
March 19, 2012
While this product worked okay, there were a couple of major drawbacks that could easily be rectified by better communications / labeling. First, this product only works for light colored materials. I found this out by ruining a $20 sweatshirt. Also, you have to be careful how you put the paper in the printer as there is a small notch that has to be placed just so depending on the type of printer you have. I've used other transfers in the past that has a printed design on the side of the paper that was not supposed to be printed on and that is a whole lot more user friendly. You iron the transfer on with both parts of the transfer paper intact and then peel off the part of the transfer paper that is not needed after it cools. You also need to place the sheet of tracing paper that is included between the transfer and the iron. I knew this from previous transfers I had done, but don't believe this was stated in the instructions either. Decent product but definitely needs better labeling / explanations / communication.

I don't know if is the product or the vendor. I received expired goods they were only a few months out of date. The edges wouldn't stay down on all pages. Most did. Color dull after washing. I will not buy from these people again. Contacted Amazon and they refunded like 10%. Not happy with this purchase at all. That just didn't cut it.

The transfers bubble and fall off after the first use, even when we used a heat press to put them on. Not worth it.
Quality is highly dependent on printer
November 21, 2015
I was printing a one color (black) design for a shirt. I tried 4 different options - different amounts of ink, a different printer, different amounts of ironing. With the Epson printer I have, the paper almost always had yellow ink left on the paper, and the design was greenish instead of sharp black. When I did a transfer with a Canon printer, the design was a rich crisp black. I was thrilled... until I washed all of the shirts. All of them faded significantly but unevenly. I can't see using these for the gifts I was planning to make. I don't know whether other printers would successfully make it through a wash.

October 19, 2014
I purchased these despite other product reviews and must say that I am disappointed. The transfer started to peel and rub off after 1 wash. I used these to decorate pillow cases to give away as favors for my daughter's birthday sleepover party. The girls still enjoyed their favors. I guess I didn't get the new and improve version of these transfers.

Don't get this brand
November 1, 2016
I wasted so much time because these sheets don't show which side is the printing side, as other transfer sheets do. I literally wasted 8 sheets of this paper and was able to make one photo print that turned out decent, not great. Next time I would make the trip to Target or Staples to get the better transfer paper.
Meh. It's ok if you're in a time constraint. One time use only.
September 30, 2016
Easy to use for the most part but the paper itself is difficult to identify which side goes facing up in the printer. After following the directions, the parts with no print are opaque white, not clear. Stood up to my baby for the day. Cracks by the first hour during use. This was used on knit fabric, baby onesie. After washing it one time, it softened, but there are so many cracks in the print, it's not necessarily nice looking anymore.
Wouldn't really recommend this product
August 20, 2016
Very difficult to use. 1 out of 3 tries did not work. Was left with paper all stuck to the transfer- transfer ripped while trying to remove- and after that the remaining paper was impossible to remove from the shirt. It later cameo gaffer 3 washing cycles. Wouldn't really recommend this product. Epson needs to work on a better formula.
i prefer avery
August 5, 2016
these did not work very well. they transferred splotchy or would be able to peel off the fabric. i was using them with an epson printer so i thought these would be the best choice. i had a much easier time with the avery labels instead. i was able to return these as defective.
Not that good
March 21, 2016
I was really disappointed in these. I bought this for a st Patrick's day shirt I wanted to make. I did two test runs that turned out good but depending on material it can come out different. If you do not get it hot enough it will not transfer everything. This is not why I'm giving it two stars, just wanted to share. Why I am giving this two stars is because it looks awful even when done right. There is a whiteish film around any image unless you cut out your image leaving no white space. The image will instantly tear when trying to put a shirt over your head or if it's a tight shirt. Also this only looks good on white shirts. I would seriously just get a shirt made because you will waste many shirts trying to get this to look right only to be able to wear it one time.
Don't wash!
January 19, 2015
We very carefully followed the instructions to make sure we had a good result. After completing the iron-on to a t-shirt, there was some odd color variation, but overall it looked pretty nice. Upon first washing of the shirt, the iron-on started to crumble and about 30 percent of it came off. The part that remained on the t-shirt was still stuck on really good and not removable. So unfortunately we ended up destroying a brand new shirt and wasting money on these iron-ons. These might be good if you use them on something that will never get washed, or for a one time use item. But other than that, not worth the money.

I've bought these years ago and always had good experiences. This time, though, was a mess. I bought these to make family shirts for a trip to Disney. The transfers went on as expected and looked awesome. The directions say to wait 24 hours and then wash before wearing, so I washed them on gentle and tossed them dry. Horrible. Some of them peeled, all of them faded. And not just a little fading, but MAJOR fading. The design was a black Mickey Mouse head and it was just horrible. Faded and crumpled. As we were leaving for the trip in 2 days, I was near tears because we had no alternative. All of that work in buying shirts and designing the transfers just totally down the drain. In the end, to salvage them, I purchased a black fabric dye pen and colored in the Mickeys, though any shirts that had additional colors remained somewhat faded. This didn't fix those shirts where the transfer was peeling, though. I don't know what went wrong or if the quality of these transfers have changed since I used them 10 years ago. I recommend the black dye pen. I don't recommend these transfers.
Expired date
December 21, 2016
Received in good order followed directions not our first time to do transfers. The transfers did not work. Simply would not transfer no matter heat applied. Turns out the transfers had expired. I had no idea there was an expiration date. So check the date before you use them
Ordered 2 and BOTH EXPIRED PRODUCTS

Actually ordered 2 and paid for next day shipping for them to be expired! Ridiculous seeing that I specifically chose this for an event for Saturday
I'm tired of cleaning the iron
September 12, 2016
The product was past its expiration date. I don't know if that's why the only thing that sticks is glue to my iron. Many thanks to those who answered the question I posted and to the reviewer who mentioned the expiration date -- I never would have thought to look for that on the package.

DO NOT GET THE LIGHT TRANSFERS!!!!! I original used Dark colored transfers and the shirts turned out amazing! When I went to order more transfers I got these because they were cheaper for more transfers. BUT THEY DID NOT COME OUT THE SAME COLOR. They were much more faded and nothing like I wanted. I was very upset. Definitely get the dark transfers it is worth it.

I purchased these because I have had good experiences with Avery products. These have changed that. These take a very high heat which melts some fabrics. You must wait until he transfer paper is completely cooled (unlike other transfer papers) and then the paper does not peel off properly and breaks so you are left with your transfer broken and peeling off.

Epson Iron-on Cool Peel Transfer (8.5x11 Inches, 10 Sheets) (S041153) These Epson Iron-on transfers did not work at all. Yes, I followed the directions exactly. The iron was the right temperature, I waited the recommended length of time and when I peeled the sheet off the fabric, either the transfer came with it or the sheet tore and wouldn't come off cleanly. I finally gave up, printed my image on a regular label sheet and just stuck it on the fabric. This was not ideal but since it was for a single event, it was ok. I won't be buying these again.
Do not purchase unless you want a temporary design and disposable/icky looking shirt

Bought this for my daughter's birthday shirt. I used the fabric suggested on the package and followed the instructions carefully. Here are my thoughts:Pros:Easy to print on and had a very vivid image. I did note that some people made comment about the borders, but the instructions do actually say to trim at least 1/4 of an inch around the design to minimize border/halo transfer. Ironing it on was fairly straight forward and easy.Cons:Images cracked, the recommended material is cotton which has stretch to it. The first time my daughter tried on the shirt the image cracked in a few places pretty badly. On top of that, a day later the image was peeling to the point where if even gently rubbed that section of the image would actually just come completely off. So the design didn't even stay for an entire day, maybe 12 hours, and only 30 minutes of that 12 hours the shirt was actually being worn.Over all:I really wanted to like this product. I like many of the other products that this brand/company makes, but this obviously is something that they don't do well or maybe the batch was bad, I don't know. Either way, the product didn't meet expectations at all. The ONLY plus side to this is that I still have time to go out and buy different transfer paper and a new t-shirt so i can try again without having to rush the clock.
I expected a lot more from Epson...

works well enough after you waste a few sheets trying to figure out which side is the correct side to print on. With a double sided instruction sheet, let alone four instruction sheets, three in other languages, there was no indication of which identical side was the printable one. Epson must love the frustration it causes people and the waste that ensues. Update two weeks later... After ONE washing in cold water, all 10 shirt transfers have started to chip off. I've used the Avery transfers for 10 years and have made several hundred shirts and never had this issue until about a dozen wash cycles. I'm revising my star rating down to 1.
Might have just gotten a bad one but I didn't order anymore

I transfered them as instructed and after applying to the material they started to crack and peel. Might have just gotten a bad one but I didn't order anymore. Had to go another route as the quilt had to be finished in 2 days. Just madevit!
Don't get it!!!!!!!!! I was very disappointed

This is a bad product. I was trying to make a tee shirt and went throughout two pieces of paper. When I finally got it to work it smeared black stuff on my t shirt! The things that made me so upset that I thought it was way over priced (it was 1$ per pice of paper) which would be fine if it was better quality. Another thing was I had to use two sheets till I found out that the was a certain side to print on. It said NOTHING on the package (I read it twice to make sure before I started) about a certain side that I had to print it on. If you do buy this horrible product then scratch the paper to know which side to print on, if waxy stuff comes off than that is the right side. Overall this ruined two teeshirts!!!!!!!
Total Waste.

These things are a joke. Not only are the pictures on the instructions wrong, but the 'Works with all inkjet printers' statement is also incorrect. Printed an image 5 times on regular printer paper and it worked fine. Printed on one of these and it was all smudged and torn. Tried again with regular paper, worked fine. Again with these and it was torn. Needed to print 10 images for 10 shirts, and I've unsuccessfully printed 10 smudged messes. You're better off putting your money in the shredder, its less of a headache.
