We bought these to make custom shirts for a boat trip.. The shirts turned out great, the trip got postponed... Then the boat got sold..! Now I have some great shirts that don't really mean much, except for a great memory of a very good boat, that we enjoyed for a long time.... NOW we have to order more to make crew member shirts for our NEW BOAT...!

Worked great for me. I cut out 2" high letters and images. I printed then cut on my cricut. Cut perfectly on vinyl and iron-on setting. I ironed these on as a top layer on Siser easyweed that was already ironed on the shirts. Worked perfectly.

Love these Transfer sheets!! They were absolutely perfect. They were so easy to use and the instructions were a little confusing but I got it after some trial and error. It includes six sheets and three parchment papers to help with the ironing on. I bought these so that I can create a cute little logo shirt for my daughters school and they just were perfect and easy to use. I will definitely be re purchasing them again.

Ive purchased these several times. I make prayer blankets for doggies and on occasion make memorial blankets. I use these to put pics of them on their blanket for their fur parents and they always turn out beautifully. I normally use them on fleece but have used them on cotton too. I highly recommend them. And will continue to purchase these myself

Fantastic quality for the price , super simple to use, just follow instructions. Only thing I founds it different from instructions was how to use it with my hp printer , I ended up using the " other glossy photo paper " paper quality type since " t-shirt transfer " was not an option. My printer/scanner combo is fairly new too.

Tried it for the first time and I was impressed by the results.

Used this to transfer team logo to FELT and worked like a champ! I do recommend testing the iron temp first. If it is too hot it will shrink the transfer and/or compact the felt. After lowering the iron temp I had NO PROBLEMS. I will use again, for sure. Our logo has white so the dark transfer was exactly what I needed. If you need to transfer a picture that has ANY WHITE in it - get this DARK TRANSFER sheets. The kids loved them and I was the awesome crafty parent. Woohoo!

I liked this so much that i bought 2 more...then they raised the price. Which doesn't matter because i like it so much I'm willing to pay extra. It prints great! I use the print and cut option with my silhouette cameo machine. This makes life easier than having to layer regular vinyl! I have washed my printed shirts and on one shirt the bottom corner came up, but i just ironed it and it was fine. I have never had problems with wet ink or smearing. I use a ink jet printer. I will always recommend this printable heat transfer paper! Thank you. I'm a very happy customer.

I was skeptical of this because I've used the light colored transfers before and wasn't to happy with results. This makes great quality transfers for dark colors. I felt like I was doing it wrong at first but kept following directions and it turned out great. It did recommend using a straight print tray (which I didn't have) but I used one that bent the paper as printing and it work okay. Going to use this again for sure!

Problem: third grader wanted to do a piano/singing tribute to Bowie, and online printers would not print the design sought due to copy right, though we had modified some of the graphics. Their position was understood. Then I discovered the Avery transfer paper. I bought both the dark and the light color transfer papers not knowing which the little guy would prefer at the end.Here is the upshot, working with both the light and dark paper:• Wash and dryer dry your t shirt/fabric first. A shrunk fabric works best• the more time you spend prepping and the closer you follow the instructions the better your end product• don't be afraid of force (pushing down) and heat• Trimming the extra paper on the light paper minimizing areas that will be clear but somewhat glossy• Trimming the extra areas on the dark paper avoids transferring the color white to the fabric• Through trial and error I figured out it is better to avoid sharp corners to make them round, reducing the risk of corners peeling off• The side of the paper you print on is the white side for both dark and light paper, so make sure you know how to load the paper in your inkjet printer• Your final print area can be larger than a sheet as you can cut images/words from the paper and space them or use them elsewhere on the shirt (for instance, arm badges can be printed in a corner of the same sheet)Trick:• To avoid damage to the reverse side graphics, if you do a front/back design, use a large cutting board or a piece of flat wood slide it in the t-shirt that way the wood sits between the front and back. This also solves the issue of both sides of the t-shirt not being perfectly flat/ironed before you startLight Color Paper:• You need to print in reverse as the image is reflected back on the fabric. I used Powerpoint and flipped the images and writing and avoided the online Avery tool for doing so• As mentioned before, you don't have to cut very precisely as you only leave behind gloss/clear where you don't trimDark Color Paper:• You DO NOT need to print in reverse• You need peel of the printed paper BEFORE initiating transfer with an iron -I wasted one sheet not bing careful• The portion you don't trim transfer as white and you can create a border, rough or smooth, as I did with the front of the dark t shirt• Peeling the transfer portion from the t shirt before ironing is difficult....I used tweezers and eventually I managed to peel off the backing• You use an included parchment paper over the peeled paper to press the image onto the fabricFinal Impressions:• Don't expect professional grade printing• Recognize these are not permanent and are intended for fun and event needs• Mistakes and rough edges on my work is my own haste getting in the wayThis met my needs, to have a front/back t-shirt design on both dark and white t-shirts, using the appropriate paper for each color.**** UPDATE *****Both the white and black t shirts have been washed about 15 times each by now. I purchased these to make a make a christmas present for a friend and it worked perfectly! I had purchased another brand kit from a local store in the past and it had mediocre results. These worked MUCH better than the other one's I've used and will continue to buy these in the future. One thing to pay attention to is the quality of your printer as if you have a entry level printer or print in "economy" or "draft" mode you will likely have poor results - make sure to set the print quality to the highest setting and you should have great results.

I too was weary of using this as I make vinyl heat pressed shirts and usually avoid ink jet transfers. I have to say I have amazing results. Keep in mind that I have not washed the items yet as they were services for other people. I also use a heat press, so I don't have to worry about pressure. For those interested here are some tips I can provide for great results.*always print the BEST quality but make sure you list your paper as a matte product. It lays the ink accordingly.*I realize this is a reach for the common user but if you have any die cut machine that will, use it to trim! I used the "print then cut" function on mine and it eliminated all the white space for me. This can be done by hand with an exacto pen for similar effect.*if you followed instructions perfectly and your graphic is still slightly sticking to the paper, use a BRAYER. I pressed my shirts a few times and some spots still sticking. I grabbed a brayer I have and smoothed over the paper then gave a final press. I then smoothed it with the brayer again right after, then peeled. No problem!*I prewashed the garment and skipped fabric softener.*I preheated my garment to make sure all moisture was removed.Those were the only noteworthy parts of my process and experience. Hope this helps others!

I have been transferring to t-shirts for over 7 years now and this product performs flawlessly.This is no doubt the best transfer I have ever used. Period.I use a heat press set at 325 degrees for 60 seconds and the transfer is miraculous.Absolutely the BEST!Let Cool for at least 2 Minutes before peeling.

These were pretty cool. I work in an anime store where my co worker and I decided to make Team Rocket cosplay outfits. I received these and on a Friday night drug the iron up to work and used them. I was a little mean and made Victor go first but, they were easy to use ..easy to follow instructions and they looked really cool and were so much easier then me trying to make something to sew on the front of his shirt/my dress. Will definitely buy again if we need more!

My daughter and I made such great T-shirts for her students for Pre School graduation. Avery is excellent and their online template program was very easy to work with. If you want to design shirts all you need is the program (which is free) and Avery Transfers.Very easy to do. Use your printer to print out your design, place your shirt on a sheet, place the shirt down and place another sheet on top. This is what I found the works the best for me. Iron evenly, wait a few minutes till the transfer and shirt cool and peel. Wash the shirts inside out for keeping the vibrant colors. Recommended !!

I used these to customize totes for our wedding Welcome Bags. They were used on a natural cotton material, a little stiff, not stretchy at all and they worked GREAT. I was really nervous as I bought exactly the number I needed, and I was afraid I was going to mess up. Reading some of the not so great reviews made me apprehensive, but it could not have been easier and they came out looking better than I had expected! Of 36 bags, we literally had zero rejects!I printed graphics and words with a lot of blank space, and there is some "halo effect" but I honestly think it would look weirder if I had cut it out. I think it looks just fine, it does not bother me at all. I can see how if you were doing a shirt or something with ONE graphic in the center and a lot of blank space, it might look odd, but I think for a lot of applications, you don't need to worry about that.

These were super easy to use. We made personalized bags as part of our wedding favors. The directions say to make sure that you cut rounded corners and to keep the iron on it for 3 minutes if using a full-page image, focusing on the edges and corners. And make sure you print in mirror image, otherwise it will go on backwards. It also says to wash the garment before using, but since I don't anticipate the bags ever really being washed, I didn't bother. If I had made a shirt, I definitely would have. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of these, and I'm so excited to give these out as favors at our wedding! I now have other projects in mind using iron-on transfers.

I'm a graphic designer, coach various kid teams & always seem to be making shirts for them. I began using the Avery transfers in 2010 & have some shirts that have been through the wash countless times since then. Never had a problem & the colors seem to last amazingly well over time. Other than using only white or light grey fabric & a good quality shirt, my tips would be:1) pre-wash the shirt (I've used cotton & 50/50) & tumble dry.2) Plain paper final review: ALWAYS look at your design through the back of the paper (hold it up to a window or bright light) & make sure all of your text has been mirrored & the design looks good.3) Print the final design using the best quality your printer can output.4) Trim close to the printed parts but leave a bit of a margin - 2mm'ish. Don't cut so close that your design falls apart or warps while you are ironing. Round off points, if even a little.5) For fine designs that have been cut to the flimsy stage, cover with a sheet of parchment paper in the beginning of the ironing to get it stuck down. The parchment can be removed to finish the ironing. Baking parchment will not stick to this stuff & can get pretty darn hot. Do not use waxed paper or regular printer paper: they do not like to get hot.6) Follow the package ironing instructions. Simple as that. I use a cutting board on the floor so I can apply good pressure. For sleeve designs, my hubbie made me a little block of wood that fits inside. He cut a small groove on the bottom for the seam so the wood lays flat.7) After I peel the paper off I lay a piece of parchment over the whole design & give it a final hit with the iron. This seems to really set the transfer into the fabric & gives the most natural feel.8) If you can plan ahead, it's good to give them a final rinse with a bit of vinegar in the water to set the dye. Line dry & tumble on low to soften the whole shirt. I've never had the nerve to do the full heat dryer before the 'event' but that's my own weird thing.My worst experiences have come from using a cheap, lightweight shirt, using transfers that were too old or had been exposed to moisture (they did work though, just needed some extra tlc), or using a shirt color other than white or light grey.Love these things, just ordered 18 more. Buy them, have fun.

Make sure you wash on cold, inside out, and line dry. I put it on delicate in the wash and dryer and it still bled.

the product has a great finish but on some of the prints the ink didn’t come out well. Overall it worked out for me except for one print.

Good quality dark t shirt transfers. You can print an image directly on the transfer, like you would print a photo. No need to reverse or flip the image.Pros: you can print a photo, logo, or any other image and transfer it onto any color of t shirt. When ironed correctly, the transfers firmly affix without sticking to the wax paper.Cons: Avoid images with intricate edges or negative space within the image, as you will have to cut away any non printed area you don't want to show up as white. Like all homemade transfers, the color will eventually fade out, especially with washing.

These were very easy to use. I'm glad I read the reviews and trimmed around the image. If you don't want a whole piece of white paper on your shirt make sure up trim it exactly the way you want it to look.

Yes Finally I can start reproducing t-shirts of darker hue for me and who...ever i get them to. the transfers are good, Just have to work on not burning my fingers. I look like i lost a fight with a cheese grater and the original MJ [man in the mirror oot ah] with band aides all over his fingers. With a little experience and patienc e anyone can make nice t-shirts.

Works great with thick fabric but less with thin one (so 80% of the shirt you can buy). If you leave the iron too long on dark color, print color will blend into the color of the fabric. On stronger/thicker fabric white stays white and work great. Texture is nice too, no too thick and doesn't make you feel like you have a plastron in front of you. Made t-shirts for my team for a sport event, worked great but be careful on fine design, because you have to cut it out to not have white background.

I bought these for a project we were doing for father's day. The printing process was really easy, they just slide into the paper slot and print like normal. When I cut out the shape we wanted it was a little hard to get the backing off in order to apply the transfer paper to the shirt. Aside from that it was really easy. It transferred well and looks great.My only caution to you is that if you are doing two items (say a head and a hand print) and want them next to each other but they don't fit on under sheet of the tissue paper they provide, make sure you don't overlap the sheets. I ended up with a funny line on part of the image because the edge of the overlap made a bump.

These are pretty good. The colors are very stable through washes, although the edges do need periodic re-ironing to stay attached. I found out I could use parchment paper (the kind you use for baking) to use when going over the edges and it works as well as the original paper. I have a couple of shirts I made early last year that are still doing quite well, no cracking or fading yet. I think rounded edges would be easier to maintain than images that have corners though, so there is that. I do wash these inside out, in a delicate cycle on my front load washer and dry on low to help maintain the images. I get so many requests to make ppl we know shirts, and I just show them how easy these are to make! I think I have started a local revolution in quality imaged shirts at a rock bottom price.

These worked better than the light shirt transfers. Easier to apply too. The colors were more vivid and it took less time to complete.A few important tios:1. You print these image side up. There is tissue like paper that you place over the image. And you peel the backing off before applying.2. In order for the white to not show, you have to trim the white all out. In other words, if your image contains letters, you should cut them out individually.3. Adding a text box wirh the same filled color as the shirt you are using will help. However, this can be difficult to match up the exact color of ink and the shirt.4. If you are printing smaller images, print a bunch on one page. This will get the most use out of each page. You have to cut and trim anyway...Might as well put the scraps to good use!

With a decent printer and some basic image editing skills, these things allow you to make a decent looking shirt as long as you're not expecting too much. This is no alternative to screen printing, but for small projects it's a much cheaper alternative to having someone else make a shirt for you. I made a dozen shirts for my band's anniversary show to give to long time fans and friends and they looked great. I would not have sold them to people for more than the materials were worth, but as a gift they went over big.If you are looking for sustainable shirt printing, just remember: if properly made they will hold up just fine to a few washings. Using a gentle cycle and cooler water in the wash is recommended. Higher temps and rugged washing will warp the image and cause the color to bleed or fade. The image holds up to cracking better than I would have suspected, but that doesn't matter when the image warps and the color starts rubbing off.FYI: I would recommend buying transfers for DARK clothing only!! The light color transfers have a different process requiring you to flip the image and the pigment is directly transferred to the clothing. With the dark transfers, you peel the image off the backing and it is much sturdier all around. The DARK transfers work better, look better, and hold up to washing better. Don't bother with the transfers for light clothing!

They work fine. You're not gonna' beat a printing shop as far as quality goes. But it gets your graphic out there! Be sure to let the ink dry before you wear. It will run when wet!

Great thing to buy to save money on have t-shirts made!! if you buy this you can make the shirts yourself. I brought this to make shirts for my family. I was able to design the print myself and print it off on the t-shirt transfers. REMEMBER to read the instructions. you will have to use a small home printer because the BIG printer will melt the paper. Great for white shirt only!

These transfer sheets get the work done. You need to apply A LOT of heat for it to nicely stick to the fabric.Once applied on the fabric, let it cool down WITHOUT taking the back paper off if you want a glossy finish.After washing the fabric, the transfer is still on.It breaks up and peels very easily if you stretch the fabric so make sure you iron it to a part where wont be stretched.

I purchased this product to make tshirts for my son's birthday party. I used a red shirt and my image was all black. It was very easy to iron on and did not have any issues with the transfer not sticking on the shirt. I set them overnight to dry and they looked great. The only tip I would give is to cut out the image as close to the image as possible as there will be a shiny border around your image if you do not do that. I tried the first shirt with a slight border because others suggested to do that, however I did not like the shiny clear border that was left. The next shirt I cut out right along the image and it still transferred well and looked a lot better. After months of washing, the image still looks good, but the transfer has started to wrinkle slightly. It served it's purpose and I would recommend.

This product works as it is suppose to. I bought some of these and some of the dark shirt transfers. If you have the extra money to spend, get the dark shirt transfers, but if you are just using this on some fun white shirts, get these. Or if you have to use transfers on a lot of white clothing, get these. Do not use these on dark clothing. It will not work. I would say anything white, or very light would work. These do not print out white so if you have something white on the picture you are printing then it will come out clear with the white background of the shirt peaking through, which is fine if you are using a white shirt.The instructions on this are easier than the instructions on the dark clothes transfers. On these, basically all you do is flip it over and iron the back. (still follow the directions, this is a very basic summary)I went to the Avery website and used their software to help make my designs. You will need to flip it backwards for these shirts and if you use their site it does that for you before printing.I think, unless I have to make a lot of white shirts, I will probably go with the dark shirt transfers from now on, but these work just as well.

Let's face it, you're going to get what you pay for. That said, these are still better than their price would make you think. Despite the bad reviews of transfers crumbling on first washes and colors bleeding, I had none of these issues printing, transferring or washing my preschool aged daughter's t-shirts after scoffing at the prices of t-shirts featuring some of her favorite characters (not that I advocate anyone else stooping to my level). The images aren't as bright as commercially printed t-shirts or even as crisp as the stuff you can get the drug store to print, but it's about 85-90% as good. Considering how much cheaper it is to DIY, that's a pretty decent investment in my book.There are no ICC profiles out there, so if you're really intent on getting the best color, you would need to calibrate the transfers yourself. Unless you happen to be a legitimate photographer or graphic artist, you probably don't have access to those tools though (not to mention how much money you'd be wasting just to get one T-shirt colored correctly).Just follow the instructions thoroughly and always have a HOT iron while ironing (heat and pressure are your best friends in this process) and you'll have no issues with this product.

This came on time. It was packaged in a bubble wrapped envelope, but when I took it out the it was a bit bent here and there - which is a bit disappointing to me. But I guess it is because the paper so that's hard to avoid. The papers are still good to use though, despite being a bit bent.I didn't know whether to get dark fabric transfer paper or light fabric, but I understand now. With this one (dark), you do NOT need to flip the image before printing. It specifically tells you to print the image the way it's supposed to be onto the paper and then trim the edges before iron it on the clothing item. Beware that if you don't cut out the unwanted edges then you'll have white around the image, because this is NOT meant to be clear transfer paper; it is opaque white.This is very simple to use and I learned the steps quickly - and I've never even used transfer paper before this. I recommend getting this brand because it seems pretty good so far. I would make sure that you have an inkjet printer before buying this though, because that would give better results. I wasn't sure if my printer was inkjet or not before buying but after printing out a few images and ironing it on clothing, I would say it sticks pretty well.

These were easy to use and the colors look great once they are ironed on, and they seem to last well even after a few washes. My only concern is that some of the pages wanted to curl, even though I stored them flat in the box, and so I wasted a few when they jammed my printer.

Price isn't bad but doesn't stay of the shirts after a couple of washes.

Transfer ends up being thinner than other brands I've used and shows color from underneath.

I printed according to their settings but I'm getting some bleeding.Printing with Epson and uv dye inks.Also, having a hard time cutting in my cameo.

They worked ok. I would recommend cutting rounded corners on your design since they seem to hold up better in the wash. I wasn't a fan of the plastic feeling the decal had even after multiple washings.

I used these for giveaway prizes and they came out great. However, one day I noticed that the colors had run on the design. I'm not sure if it's the way it was washed or something but this really disappointed me since I gave away those shirts to people.They came out great but didn't last ten washes.

I used this on an OD green t-shirt I made for my dad and it worked ok. I spent forever on it, 3 or 4 hours on the design, too long. I followed the directions to the letter and it came off looking not solid, and it had folded over on the edge showing the white underside. Maybe it was user error. What I couldn't believe was the directions said use a pillow, I used a pillow on top of an ironing board. Surely doing it on just the ironing board would work better which is what I was going to do before I read the directions. Maybe next time I'll use just the ironing board.

Once I figured out how to print my design with a dark background it was okay. Example: if you want to transfer text, the background of your text must be dark otherwise it will be white like the transfer paper when it's ironed on. I found it easy to add a dark color background to the text in Word, but had to research to figure out how to change my printer settings to print the dark background. Also, you must trim the design as close as possible because if you don't the transfer will look rough around the edges. I printed a word and cut a straight rectangular shape around it before ironing. After it was ironed, I could see the perfect square around the transferred word. I should have cut more exact around each letter so it looks natural.

I have purchased two of these and made several t-shirts with them. Not sure why, but sometimes it works perfectly but sometimes for some reason the edges does not stick well and after first wash it's coming off. Can't figure out what the problem is or how to avoid it to happen. Round stuff works better than square or if there is thin parts of it. But to get a customized shirt, or make a t-shirt that my kids want but can't find at the store, will work so I would buy again. The colors stay nice, even after several washes.

I originally purchased the wrong Avery product to make a transfer for a dark blue shirt. It was labeled for iron-on transfers for light fabrics and I thought it just meant light weight fabrics. It probably should have said it was for "...light colored fabrics..." and would not work for my application. This Avery product for dark colored fabrics was considerably more expensive, about twice the price for 5 sheet instead of 8. The color worked fine for a simplepattern I created, but when I printed a photograph on one of the transfer sheets, the colors were badly messed up and much darker. Once you trim the transfer to the actual shape you are going to iron on, you then have to peel a very thin color layer off of a thin backing sheet. I found it virtually impossible to do. We finally covered the back of the sheet with strips of vinyl packing tape to reinforce it. Only then would the backing sheet, adhered to the tape, peel off. The Emblem I made with Photoshop worked fine, but I simply cannot bring myself to try this with the photo I want to transfer to the front of another shirt is so dark.

MUST use highest iron setting. Used on white shirts, very visible frosty background. If you trim the design as instructed, its VERY obvious. Recommend not trimming at all. More expensive products do not do this. Must use Avery's site to make the image. There are many great fonts, tho. Still fun, but doesn't look professional.

Used these on stuff felt for classroom felt board stories. Did not not work nearly as well as another brand I purchased at the local craft store. Takes 3 min of ironing on each sheet (other brand took 2 min) and don't seal well. Some needed even more ironing and I'm worried they will peel as soon as they are in the hands of kindergarteners! I will be purchasing the other brand next time.

Transferred the pictures well, but was disappointed how quickly the quaility of the picture crumbled. My daughter wore the tshirt after it was made and cooled, for about 6 hours. At the end of the evening, it looked like she was wearing a crumpled paper on her chest.

These worked great to make bachelorette shirts for my sister. I gave three stars because after a couple washes they did crack. I also needed to cut them closely to the font and pictures because you could see the clear transfer on the pink shirt. It was pretty much invisible on the white tank. For one time use shirts it was well worth it as we saved a bunch of money instead of ordering custom ones off etsy.

Works great and Avery is a trusted name in quality home printing products. My only complaint with this item is the directions for it are not very clear. It does not give you any directions on what to do for words. Which that is misleading because using it for tshirt transfer you are likely to have words. So that was disappointing. I figured it out though but, just to warn those that may not know how... the package will not give you any directions for that.

Nice adhesion after transfer. Only problem I had was that a pink color bled out of the design regardless of the color of the design. The pink bleeding went in the same direction across the transfer sheet. I printed several different logos on each transfer page and every logo on each page bled light pink in the same direction on each sheet. That obviously was disappointing. The bleeding occurred immediately after printing and became gradually worse until ironing. I was using a canon printer with canon ink so it wasn't some off brand knock-off ink cartridge.

It did the job, but if you want quality, you are better off investing in a cutter and using heat transfer vinyl. The results is 10 times better! If you are just doing a simple DIY shirt then this is perfect.

the website isn't well maintained. I made a design a few days ago, saved it and attempted to access it today to print but not such luck. None of my login attempts resulted in an actual login, even after I attempted to reset my password and then, in desperation, to create a new account. A waste of my time, which I don't have in abundance

Can't seem to print well on it. Paper is very curly (it's not humid here) and jammed once (there goes 1/5 of 7 dollars). Peeling a design that isnt square without it stretching is near impossible. Edges of paper stuck to iron and smeared around. Not easy to work with. Would not recommend.

Doesn't work with a laser printer! Should have said that on the listing.

Since the iron on is white it's not really good for dark fabrics

Not as colorful as the more expensive Avery transfers. Did a side-by side comparison while working on a project.

Printed out beautifully only down fall is there is this line through all but 1 sheet of printable transfer paper. So on my prints the line did show even when ironed on. This also happened with Avery light printable heat transfer maybe I got a bad batch twice?..But I won't be repurchasing for a third time for that reason.

The first package of these worked fine and printed beautifully, so I ordered three more for my business. They would not peel off easily and no matter what I did, they would not adhere to the fabric. I lost 2 days work and materials trying to use these transfer sheets. I do not recommend these transfer sheets. I have since started using another brand with excellent results.

This was my first time ordering this brand for dark fabric transfer. I use them with my heat press machine for shoes. Well, this brand did not stick to the canvas material of the shoe after it was under the heat press. I peeled right off the canvas. So then I tried the good old iron exactly to the T of the instructions and the material still would not stick to the canvas. i was disappointed.

I put the shirts into the washing machine as it suggests and the color in my shirt bled onto the white background staining it. Any color fabric is going to bleed and is disappointing that the white background picked up the color. Also in order to keep the transfer from browning or yellowing you need to put regular paper on top the tissue or several more pieces of tissue.

I bought this to make personalized pillowcases for my daughter. She loves softball but hates pink and it's tough to find the right colors for her. It was easy to print on and reasonably easy to iron on. It took longer than they claimed but it wasn't a big deal. I was very cautious to follow all directions. I only washed it the one time after finished as suggested and didn't put it in the dryer. It wasn't long before they all started pulling away from the pillow. They didn't last long at all. I won't even use the unused pages as they are worthless. So disappointed.

I'd previously bought cheap, iron on transfers which transferred the print onto your chosen garment and had been very happy with the result. As the Avery paper appeared to be the same, I bought a pack of this. It isn't the same. The printed image is simply peeled from the backing and the white vinyl piece is attached to the fabric by two minutes of ironing. The resulting transfer is very stiff and plastic feeling and not porous at all. If you're using this for t-shirts, be aware that it will not allow fabric to breathe and, especially on warm days you will find the print portion of the garment sticking to any point of contact. The ink doesn't set and there was considerable bleed of colours. Disappointing.

They were ok. When we put on the shirts the pictures split on the first try on. Didnt do it for all the shirts we did. But some they did. Wasted a couple sheets so make sure you make extra

I don't know if is the product or the vendor. I received expired goods they were only a few months out of date. The edges wouldn't stay down on all pages. Most did. Color dull after washing. I will not buy from these people again. Contacted Amazon and they refunded like 10%. Not happy with this purchase at all. That just didn't cut it.

The transfers bubble and fall off after the first use, even when we used a heat press to put them on. Not worth it.

I was printing a one color (black) design for a shirt. I tried 4 different options - different amounts of ink, a different printer, different amounts of ironing. With the Epson printer I have, the paper almost always had yellow ink left on the paper, and the design was greenish instead of sharp black. When I did a transfer with a Canon printer, the design was a rich crisp black. I was thrilled... until I washed all of the shirts. All of them faded significantly but unevenly. I can't see using these for the gifts I was planning to make. I don't know whether other printers would successfully make it through a wash.

I purchased these despite other product reviews and must say that I am disappointed. The transfer started to peel and rub off after 1 wash. I used these to decorate pillow cases to give away as favors for my daughter's birthday sleepover party. The girls still enjoyed their favors. I guess I didn't get the new and improve version of these transfers.

Worthless Waste Of Money!I went through every sheet in the pack, most just blistered but did not transfer ontothe garment, so I really laid into the last one and all I got was a blob of molten goothat clung to the garment in droplets and blobs, had to throw out the garment!These things suck!

you need to be more clear that the transfer is white under the printer ink and needs to be cut out. Worthless for my needs

We have use HP in the past, But were told these are better. WRONG they have poor instructions, and the performance was worse. They never transfered totally. Buy HP.

At first I would have given these a much higher rating. The software was easy to use and the transfer paper was easy to cut and apply as well. However after two delicate cycle washings on cold with the shirt inside out and hung dry the letters began peeling off. Next time I will be looking to try a different brand and I would suggest not wasting money on this brand if you want your item to last.

I used this for more intricate designs and found that after ironing and letting the material cool for 2-3 mins (as prescribed in the instructions) the paper backing would tear off and peel. I had to end up going over the T-shirt with a pick and picking off all of the torn backing from each logo, maddening. I will never purchase this again.

I have tried every technique I know with iron on applications. I heat press vinyl onto shirts all day and wanted to expand my business by offering images. Bad idea with this product. First of all it's very difficult to get the backing off the iron on sheet. Then it says to preheat the fabric. But after preheating and placing the iron on onto the fabric it curls up!!! So I ended up having to use heat press tape to tape down the iron on and try it that way. Just a nightmare overall. Don't buy!

I'm no expert on how to use fabric transfers but I did follow the instructions exactly and it was a nightmare. Ended up taking to someone who has a vinyl/transfer machine. You could hardly tear the backing off the transfer which made it virtually impossible to iron on. Would never buy this stuff again. There's a date stamp on it of 9/29/16 so it's not old. Frustrating!!!!

Followed instructions to the letter...lousy result every time. Pressing iron onto transfer for as little as 5 seconds resulted in scorching. Finally got one that was marginally acceptable but still had iron marks. Put the item in the wash on 'gentle' and many little white spots appeared where the color had come off. Dark colors started to run into lighter colors.Expected the same great quality and ease of use as the light fabric transfers; not even close. Product development needs to do a lot of work on this product and/or instructions.Printed on Canon i6800 inkjet printer on 'T-shirt transfer' setting.

I ordered this product to make shirts for my daughter and a friend of hers. I have a brother inkjet printer. The first transfer printed great, but even though I followed the directions it took two times to get it to stick. When I tried printing the next transfer it came out completely smudged. I printed on regular paper next and the picture was fine so it wasn't the printer. I tried again and again smudged. I tried changing the picture and the same thing happened and then again. Out of the entire pack only one sheet worked. Don't buy.

This product does not work. First, you have to peal the transfer away from the backing. If you piece is too small, it is impossible to get the paper separated. If you are using a full sheet, the transfer is so flimsy, it is hard to lay flat. Although the instructions do not fully explain this, the tissue paper cover needs to be completely cool otherwise the transfer comes off with the tissue. Even if you can get the tissue off, the transfer can be scraped off the fabric with your fingernail.

I've bought these years ago and always had good experiences. This time, though, was a mess. I bought these to make family shirts for a trip to Disney. The transfers went on as expected and looked awesome. The directions say to wait 24 hours and then wash before wearing, so I washed them on gentle and tossed them dry. Horrible. Some of them peeled, all of them faded. And not just a little fading, but MAJOR fading. The design was a black Mickey Mouse head and it was just horrible. Faded and crumpled. As we were leaving for the trip in 2 days, I was near tears because we had no alternative. All of that work in buying shirts and designing the transfers just totally down the drain. In the end, to salvage them, I purchased a black fabric dye pen and colored in the Mickeys, though any shirts that had additional colors remained somewhat faded. This didn't fix those shirts where the transfer was peeling, though. I don't know what went wrong or if the quality of these transfers have changed since I used them 10 years ago. I recommend the black dye pen. I don't recommend these transfers.

Received in good order followed directions not our first time to do transfers. The transfers did not work. Simply would not transfer no matter heat applied. Turns out the transfers had expired. I had no idea there was an expiration date. So check the date before you use them

Actually ordered 2 and paid for next day shipping for them to be expired! Ridiculous seeing that I specifically chose this for an event for Saturday

The product was past its expiration date. I don't know if that's why the only thing that sticks is glue to my iron. Many thanks to those who answered the question I posted and to the reviewer who mentioned the expiration date -- I never would have thought to look for that on the package.

DO NOT GET THE LIGHT TRANSFERS!!!!! I original used Dark colored transfers and the shirts turned out amazing! When I went to order more transfers I got these because they were cheaper for more transfers. BUT THEY DID NOT COME OUT THE SAME COLOR. They were much more faded and nothing like I wanted. I was very upset. Definitely get the dark transfers it is worth it.

I purchased these because I have had good experiences with Avery products. These have changed that. These take a very high heat which melts some fabrics. You must wait until he transfer paper is completely cooled (unlike other transfer papers) and then the paper does not peel off properly and breaks so you are left with your transfer broken and peeling off.
