Giant breakfast biscuit maker!!
March 15, 2017
UPDATE after multiple usage:I've used the pans for cakes and biscuits and cookies so far.The little circle at the bottom is nice for cooking exactly 1 cookie... which is something I actually do from time to time lol but my absolute favorite daily usage of this pan is biscuits!! If you want a large 1 serving biscuit (4 inches as you know...) just plop the dough in here a bit more than half full...about 2/3s really, and it will rise to about 1 cm over the rim. Of course the rising will vary by recipe, I only make simple cream+selfrising flour biscuits. Anyway..these are divine! they are the perfect size for making a big ol breakfast biscuit sandwich, or you can cut a bowl out of it and fill with chicken noodle soup or whatever savory dish you like with biscuits. I just like single serving items since my family doesn't enjoy biscuits the way I do so I fill all 3 of these with dough... then freeze... then bake the entire thing pan+dough! They are not super strong though... one of mine is a little bent after traveling in a tote bag with no support, still works for me, but if you're making something that uses runny batter like regular cake I'm not so sure this is a long term solution, more like 1-5 uses ...then maybe 5 more with some fixes (wrap with foil, line with cookie sheet, etc)Used 1 time so far... for a basic vanilla cake. My kid wanted a blue birthday cake and I really didn't want to food color a huge cake ...so just did a tiny one. I know it varies by recipe but I filled about halfway and it came just over the rim which was lovely.I let them cool for 15 mins then released the clasp and they didn't stick. I also oiled the pans with vegetable oil. Cleaning these will require a bit of soaking or creativity to get the tiny crevices.
Adorable, and they work well.
February 1, 2017
I love these so much. I used them to make my mini Christmas fruitcakes. They're practical, a great size for 1 or 2 people and they work really well.
I like cake
January 27, 2017
Used these for the first time today. When they arrived I thought they looked too small, as I wanted to be able to make small cakes to give to some of my friends who would never be able to eat a regular sized cake. But when I baked a cake today, I felt one layer would be fine for a everyday cake for someone, two layers for a couple, and three layers for a special cake. The cake baked up beautifully, came out of the pan beautifully and pans cleaned up beautifully, except for the cake that got caught in the curled edge. I may still buy a 5" pan, just because. But very happy with these, cost and utility of them.
dont fill these up, as they are bigger than "individual size"
July 31, 2016
I purchased these to make individual cheesecakes and red velvet cakes for holidays. These work great and add an elegant touch to any dinner party. However, please keep in mind these are not individual size for a normal person. My family of four share one of these. My father who is a big sweets eater, can only eat half of one. Since, the first time I used them, I have learned not to fill them so much. This makes it a much more manageable size to consume. Unfortunately, one of the pans was a little less round than the others. I'M OCD so it bugs me but I really don't think anyone has noticed once the sweet treats are out of the pan. Also, if you make something like cheesecake with graham crust, do not leave them in the pans for more than a day. The crust sticks and is hard to get off the pan cleanly without ruining the look of the treat once it's been in there too long.
Make sure you measure twice! Small! but otherwise great, a bit hard to clean thoroughly
May 24, 2016
These are small!! Just make sure you grab a ruler right now and get a sense of how small these things are. I knew what was getting into, since I wanted to make some nice small cakes (so that I wouldn't have to eat a huge one by myself and instead I would be able to give away two out of the three). The cake pans are nice and solid, and for the price I couldn't ask for more. They are not perfect as some tiny bits of batter leaked from the bottom, but that wasn't an issue at all.One thing I do not like is the fact that the batter will get into these nooks and crannies at the bottom of the pan, and they are VERY hard to get to to keep these things clean, especially after the cooled down batter has gotten caked in there.
Great mini cheesecake forms!
September 27, 2015
Perfect!I ordered these with the intent to use for making Paula Deen's pumpkin cheesecake in mini form for my sweet neighbors. There's only 2 of them, so they don't need a huge dessert, but I wanted to bring them something. I'm a pastry chef by trade, & these are some of the best non-stick pans ever. The springs are durable & seem sturdy enough to withstand frequent use. I'll also eventually use these for miniature mousse cakes. Wilton is not my preferred pan brand, but I would both recommend & purchase these again. If my review helped you, please click "yes". Any questions you have, I'd be happy to answer as well.

Smooth sailing
July 18, 2017
I finally treated myself to some "real" tools after being commissioned to make my mom's wedding cake. She despises fondant, and I cringed at the thought of making a buttercream cake because I was worried the icing would come out lumpy and gross. This tool worked great for me, and although it didn't come out perfectly lump-free like fondant would, it was pretty darn close. I will be keeping this tool for future cakes; my only wish is that I had bought one sooner so that I could lend a more professional feel to my cakes.
More than I bargained for and happy for it :)
July 18, 2016
For some reason I thought it would be smaller...then realized that 12" is one helluva a Icing Spatula. I'm not fond of sheet cakes; never seem like "real cakes" to me. But... LoL this is going to be a perfect moment in that direction and, I will start a new direction for getting creative.
Easy to use
May 30, 2016
i attempted to make my son a cake for his first birthday ... While I am not much of a baker, this icing spatula made decorating much easier!
A Baker's Essential Tool
April 20, 2016
This is probably one of the greatest purchases I have made in a while. I bake a lot and have so for about 12 years. I'm actually in the process of opening up my own bakery and I saw this and figured I would give it a shot since the price was right. Man, this spatula is versatile. I've used it for slicing cheesecakes, spooning items as well as icing my cheesecakes and it works flawlessly.

When my bakery if fully up and running, I plan on ordering a few more to keep on hand.
How did I ever live without an angled frosting spatula?
May 28, 2015
Embarrassingly this was my first time using a dedicated cake spatula to frost my cakes. I poured through reviews and couldn't decide on the size to get. Some folks weren't happy with large spatulas while others had problems adapting to smaller spatulas. I purchased this particular spatula based on the reviews and was also under the assumption the metal spatula itself (excluding the handle) was 9" long. What I received was a spatula that is 9" in length *including* the handle. The metal spatula itself is only 3.75"- seems suited more for cupcakes and tiny rounds. That said, I put it t the test and I've successfully frosted several 9" round triple layer cakes in addition to cupcakes and mini cupcakes- it worked perfectly, and just as expected.

I wound up having no issues with small size. The angled handle made frosting the cakes feel natural, as if I'd been using it for years, and in no way awkward. I was also able to use it successfully as a crumb layer-scraper. A crumb layer scraper would have been ideal for my high layered cakes as it would have required minimal effort, but this spatula outperformed any substitute device I'd previously used, and in the end, my crumb layer was perfect.

I can see a bigger size spatula being more helpful for 9"+ layer cakes, as it would be faster and perhaps a tad easier, but I wasn't racing against a clock and my cakes turned out beautiful.

They're also not that easy to clean around the bottom of the ring
October 29, 2017
These work well. I've had a blast baking little cakes in them! As other reviewers have noted, they do leak a little bit. They're also not that easy to clean around the bottom of the ring. There's a small lip that's curled under and collects leaked batter. I have to go at it with a brush for a minute to get all the little pieces out. But you know, they're cheap, and they work fine, so OK.
they appear to be good quality.
April 13, 2017
In all honesty, they were not what I wanted or expected, but that is my fault. I haven't used these so I can't say how well they work. However, they appear to be good quality.
I personally think they're a good sized cake portion for two or three people
August 18, 2016
I've used these a few times for making individual mini-cakes for family and friends. I personally think they're a good sized cake portion for two or three people. They're exactly what I expected and more. I really enjoy the size. I really found these handy especially since this is one of my first springform pans. I did not however enjoy the little crevices of this pan because it would get a lot of batter stuck in it, making it impossible to clean. I spend well over 10 minutes with a toothpick trying to get all of it out. It's a huge hassle. It has leaked small amounts but not enough for me to see it as an issue. Overall, I really enjoy having these pans but beware of the clean-up.
Mini pans, big treats!
August 8, 2015
Product was shipped as pictured and described. I found they had an odd smell when I received them, but, after soaking them in soapy water and washing they were okay.I haven't used any other brand mini springform pans to compare, but, I didn't experience any batter leak and my cheesecake minis removed cleanly from the pans. Cleaning these pans, like any springform pan just requires a little extra attention at the crevices where the bottom attaches; a non-scratch scrubber will do the trick.
Good pans, but they leak a little
February 16, 2015
Cute little pans, but wish I'd bought the 4 pan set. Made Christmas cakes for the neighbors and they were the perfect size. 2 per house worked great, but that meant multiple rounds of baking. They leak some, but I always place my springform pans on a cookie sheet.

January 3, 2017
I can't say "I love it," simply because I am not that committed to an icing spatula. I will say that it has served its purpose nicely, and is not showing any signs of decay. It is a nice simple icing spatula. It is decorative kitchen utensil, but a practical durable one. So if you are looking for something cute to go with your multicolored knives set, brightly colored Dutch Oven, etc. then this isn't that.

March 28, 2015
Well built and sturdy. I have various spatulas from stainless steel to silicon and simple plastic. The silicon and plastic don't offer an offset blade. I own a large angled spatula for cake icing/decoration and wouldn't be without one. This small version with this same deviation to a blade alignment really helps to make covering a cupcake with icing to simple application of mustard on a ham and cheese. The smaller spatula is easy to clean and appears to be sturdy. Time will tell

some pieces didn't quite fit perfectly
September 19, 2017
I bought two sets. Two of the six total pans don't fit tightly, but they have worked OK enough and not spilled into my oven.
Good product with some faults.
January 17, 2017
This is a nice little product - it looks exactly like pictured and makes great cakes. The size decrease does create some issues with baking and they aren't appropriate for every recipe - I've found some recipes actually take longer to cook and result in an under baked inside and very over baked outside. Additionally, they are easily misshapen and since the ringer closes around the outside of the bottom plate, they have a tendency to leak a fair amount - not enough to change the cake but enough that a sheet pan underneath is necessary.Overall not a bad buy - I've used them tons and will continue to do so.
You Get What You Pay For
March 19, 2016
As an avid baker that is trying to open up my own bakery, I was hoping these pans would live up to expectations. However, I guess you get what you pay for. After washing in very hot water, the pan started to deform from a circle to more of an oval. It got a little worse after I baked a cheesecake in it.I made a special cheesecake where I needed to bake a brownie on the bottom first and that mix did leak through the pan. The only way this doesn't leak is if you have a graham cracker crust high enough to cover the crease.I figured for $8, it would be worth trying out and my conclusion is that although these aren't totally useless, they are not good enough quality to use for professionals or even for serious bakers. I would recommend spending the money and purchasing a better quality pan.
It's okay
March 1, 2016
I baked a few mini cheesecakes in these, one of the pan warped after the second use, but it's not too noticeable. They do leak though but what springform pan doesn't! I secure the outside of the pan with foil so water doesn't seep in and for cakes without a crust, I secure the inside with spray and parchment to prevent cake batter leaking out a little. This is my first and last springform purchase. I think I'll stick to my regular cake pans. It's really easy to release the cake from the edges with a small offset spatula.
Not so hot.
July 8, 2014
I'm pretty sure I'll be throwing these away after my daughter's first birthday. These have gotten a lot of use in the past few weeks, as I'm trying to perfect an actually edible gluten-free birthday cake for my daughter's first birthday. I purchased these for this purpose, and initially thought they were pretty awesome. They make the perfect size cake. I can use a regular sized cake recipe and it distributes excellently between all three pans. They are certainly non-stick, and I have yet to break a cake in removing it from the pan.The first signs of discord appeared when I tried to clean them the first time. As other reviewers have noted, cake batter tends to leak a little around the bottom edges of these pans. This didn't impact the cakes in any way, but batter got baked into all sorts of little nooks and crannies and crevices of the pans. This was NOT easy to clean. What prompted this review is that the batter leaking issue seems to be getting worse with time. The last two times I've used these I have had to take down my smoke alarms while baking because batter has dripped into the bottom of the oven and burned there. I will attempt to solve this by putting the pans on a cookie sheet in the future, but I'm a little worried that this will impact the even baking of the cakes.
Touch to get the graham cracker crust off the bottom
March 16, 2014
I like the size, and they certainly are sturdy, but I made mini-cheesecakes in these last week, and only one of the graham cracker crusts survived coming up off that diamond patterned bottomed intact. There is a definite lip to that bottom piece, and that, coupled with the diamond pattern just made it tough to get the crust off in one lovely piece. Don't think I would order these again for cheesecake, although they may work beautifully for a regular cake.

Out of shape when they arrived.
October 16, 2017
I ordered this from Amazon warehouse and was disappointed with them when they arrived and all three were bent out of round despite the description of being in good condition. However the size was just what I wanted and will be nice to make single serving cheesecake desserts.
Damaged
June 20, 2017
These would be great for so many things however, my 3 pans were all bent and mishapen when they arrived. I tried to use them anyway and the batter leaked out into the oven. Hmmph
Maybe the thicker batter will work better.
February 23, 2017
I made frittatas in these and some of the egg leaked out. It was disappointing. I went back to using Pyrex. I haven't tried cheesecake yet. Maybe the thicker batter will work better.
VERY disappointed in them

These have rusted after the first use even after thoroughly drying them, so it seems at the bottom of them. VERY disappointed in them.

December 22, 2016
It works but it's not a perfect circle or anywhere close to one. It looks pretty oval to me. This is on all three of the set that I got so maybe it's a defect in the factory.
Severe Leakage
January 23, 2016
Makes such cute and tiny cake cheesecake, but the butter in the crust nearly completely drained from the pan. I wrapped the pans in foil to prevent water-logging, but that wasn't enough.I plan to buy mini cake pans and line them completely in parchment (see the Alton Brown video on YouTube that demonstrates how to make a cheesecake) and hope for the best

Just not good to me .Mainly because of the way it fits in my head . Too hard to work with.
Wrong description for 9" spatula
June 9, 2016
The 9" spatula description clearly states that the blade is 1.5" wide. The one I received is barely .75" (3/4"). Not what I wanted.
Would probably cost more to send it back than it's worth. I did give 2 stars because it's well made but for me it's just another addition to my junk drawer.
Title is deceptive, but it still worked out.
April 7, 2016
The title is misleading; it's 9 inches from handle to end of the angled spatula. The only other offset spatulas I'd seen showed the blade length (which is actually about 4.5" of functional surface area).

I already had a 4.5" offset spatula, so upon receipt of this one I was pretty disappointed because I was hoping for a large one for big surfaces. Turns out that having two 4.5" offset spatulas is a pretty nice luxury, though.

2/5 stars because I literally didn't need it and was expecting it to be a 9" spatula blade, but I'll still use it anyway.

Rusted when not washed right away.
August 3, 2017
The last time I used it I did not clean it right away. It was in an empty sink overnight. When I picked it up to wash it, the bottom side was covered with rust spots. Now there are permanent marks on it. That was probably my fault, but nothing else of mine has ever rusted. I will look for another product.
9" and 13" are over all length not blade length.
August 20, 2016
Please note: 9" and 13" are for over all length and not blade length. Kind of disheartening to realize this in hand and not seeing this in online discription.

Description didn't say on 13" size the blade length and I was thinking a 9" was needed and didn't notice in discription.
This is not the 12" spatula you are looking for
December 29, 2015
It is small. The 12" length in the description is the overall length with handle and the metal part. Do not buy if you are looking for a longer spatula
bending it back leads to an even weaker more useless spatula.
February 18, 2015
Unfortunately, this spatula is not constructed with the same thicker steel as the old models were. The thin steel flexes and bends making this spatula ineffective at spreading all but the thinnest of icings/frostings. Once the spatula is bent, bending it back leads to an even weaker more useless spatula.
