Pictures are misleading but this is an awesome product
March 20, 2017
Pictures (as of Mar 20 2017) are very misleading - they look like the two straight sections of the "U" are parallel - they are not. The longer straight section that supports the board is angled - this makes it feel like the surfboard is much more secure in the rack (when mounting to the ceiling). It's well made and easy to install - saved me a bunch of space in my garage
Don't let the price fool you, these things are the real deal!
August 30, 2016
We had wanted to purchase paddle boards for some time after renting them on several occasions but my main concern was where I could safely store them when we weren't on the lake or river. I considered several options and finally decided to give the COR product a try. I made my decision based on the product's construction and what appeared to be ease on installation.I ordered the racks and they arrived within two days! Installation was as easy as I had hoped! All you need to hang these racks are the location of a couple of ceiling joist, a drill to create a small pilot hole and a screw driver. The whole installation was done in about 10 minutes and I was ready to give them a try.I now have two 10.5 foot boards and paddles hung safely and out of the way (on one set of racks) and when we are ready to paddle again we simply grab and go!Of course the real test will be to see how these racks stand up over time, but the construction is solid and the 4" screws securing them to the joist give me a feeling of confidence that they will last for years!

October 30, 2015
Nice design, the "U" shape is bent 190 degrees so it is canted toward the wall in my installation, so leans the board nicely in toward the wall, so no worries about it slipping off. The foam padding won't mar the board, and the vinyl caps on the ends will not allow it to slide, so it is staying where I put it. The screws are heavy duty, but too short for a drywall ceiling installation, so I used 3" #12 deck screws with washers so I could tighten them. Good product at a good price.
Best SUP racks!
July 14, 2015
Best SUP racks available to date and I've bought a few that didn't work. I was able to store all 3 of my boards in a small space due to the versatility of this design.
Great price for a GREAT product!
July 13, 2015
I recently purchased these racks to store my new longboard (9'6"). I needed something that would keep it safe and out of the way while still being easy to access on a very regular basis. I also wanted something easy to install. These racks check all of the boxes. The drop from the ceiling is low enough that I can leave the 10" skeg on and reach the board without a step stool (I'm 5'9" but have the shortest arms ever for my height - hi TRex), while still keeping it high enough to not hit your head or feel like it will fall on you. Our garage has standard ceiling heigh (8').The quality of the materials is fantastic. So many times you buy ready-made rack systems and they feel cheap and fall apart quickly. The padding on this is high quality, the metal is powder coated and they are sturdy. I am not worried about my board at all. Will definitely purchase again if need be. Don't let the cost-effective price throw you off - these racks are well made and well worth it!Customer service with this company is fantastic as well. They really care about your experience with their product and want to make sure that your needs have been met. They are a third-party vendor worthy of selling on Amazon - their customer service is on par with what Amazon strives for, if not better.
Great ceiling or wall mounts!!
June 26, 2015
Bought two sets of these racks to hang paddle boards in the garage. They work great. Cleans up the space from having them on the ground (plus the wear and tear of that). Each set holds two boards! They are perfect!

Recommend - great alternative to rigid SUP
October 9, 2016
Love it - rigid when fully inflated. Takes a little work to inflate, but we love it. We thought we wanted a solid-surface board (or whatever they're called), but this is great because it can just go in the trunk of the car and come out when it's ready to hit the water. No special racks or anything like that. We've had it all summer and it's still working well - no air leaks, stays rigid between uses if we don't inflate it. Recommend.

July 25, 2016
I am new to paddle boarding but now have a new hobby! This board is great, I can set it up and get it back into the bag with a bit of effort by myself. I am 125 and I usually have my 5 or 7 yr old on with me and it works great. My hubby is 175 and says he needs to inflate to 15psi so its not wobbly but I have no issues at 12 psi. Pump works great and the backpack is super sturdy
Great beginner set. Hard to beat price.
February 5, 2016
For my first paddleboard I decided to take the plunge on an iSUP. After much searching around I picked up the Vilano Navigator due to the price and how complete the set is. Only thing to consider is you likely will end up upgrading your paddle if you are serious at all about paddling.Regarding the board itself, I am impressed with the amount of hookup rings, and riding the board is a blast. I'm not sure about some of the stability complaints I see on here. I fill the board up to 15 PSI as stated in the Vilano manual and have no problems (a little under 6' and ~190 pounds here). Filling it up too much may lead to it being hard to ride.
Love it!
October 10, 2015
I have used my board 3 times now and absolutely love it! It really is a great price for everything it comes with. My husband will be ordering the 11' board soon, so we can paddle together.
Great Board for Beginners
July 18, 2015
My wife loves this board! For the price and size of the deflated board, you can't beat it.
Ten minutes to inflate and I'm on my way to fun. AND best of all
June 22, 2015
I read reviews that reported this difficult... and absolutely not. It has performed excellently. I started out in my pool, then took it to the lake. After paddling around my boat for an hour, falling off many times, and figured it out the next day. Ten minutes to inflate and I'm on my way to fun. AND best of all, I don't need my truck to haul it as it fits inside the very small trunk of my little Miata.

March 7, 2017
Rack works well. The padding is good but one arrived with the padding split about two inches. The problem does not look like it will affect the padding effectiveness. The screws are not the best quality. One broke off half way in and I had to extract it. I substituted two other screws of hardened steel that worked very well. Yes, I counter drilled the holes and the screw still broke. The rack holds my SUP very well and the 180 degree angle is great to keep the board from sliding off.
Nice product for ONE paddleboard
October 9, 2016
I purchased this rack to store my TWO paddleboards, as indicated in the product description. Although I like the product and it works well for storing ONE board, it will NOT hold two paddleboards. So, I need to purchase two racks so I can safely store my two 10 foot paddleboards. It would store two surfboards but not two paddleboards, so beware if you are planning to store two paddleboards, you will need two racks.
After reading the reviews and people stating it worked great for the wall as well as the ceiling
September 11, 2016
After reading the reviews and people stating it worked great for the wall as well as the ceiling, we purchased. If you have more than one board, it will work great on ceiling but not on the wall. The fins have to face out so they can't be laid top to top so it they don't hang as well. It works for us right now but may buy another just to make sure both boards are secure.
Great way to hang boards or board and simple to install
May 14, 2016
I love the covenience of this product and the look, function. Simple to install. This holds my 9' board nicely. The product arrived w rust starting ti develop around the drilled holes on the attachment, metal portion. One head from the cheap ass screws snapped off so I backed the screw out and used better screws. The metal is easy to bend so screw in slowly until snug
Good racks, watch your ceiling height
September 9, 2015
These are pretty decent racks for ceiling mounting. They don't look very strong but they held my 11.6 SUP up no problem. The biggest challenge is that if you are dealing with a high ceiling and a heavy board its very hard to get the angle right to get a board up with out hurting yourself or your board. Depending on how tall/how big your board is, I would not use on ceilings over 8 feet. I actually stopped using mine for my SUP and just keep a long board up there now because it was just too hard to maneuver something that big, that high. These racks are probably overkill for a surfboard but I can probably store two thin ones no problem. Something to thing about before you pull the trigger on this type of board storage
Very responsive to customers
July 29, 2015
Customer service is great! Product seems very good, but could be a bit stronger / stiffer for larger, heavier SUPs.I have an 11'2" SUP that weighs 31 lbs and needed to mount it hanging below an 8" beam in my garage. The COR Board Rack fit the space I had and installed quickly. The arms sagged 2-3" from horizontal under the weight of the board, possibly because the top flat portion of the rack in my installation is completely unsupported by ceiling or other backing. The owner emailed me for feedback the day I received the rack and I provided feedback directly to him,So, I've made mine work by adding two safety straps mounted to the beam via eyebolts. I would imagine there would be no issue with smaller, lighter boards or installations on a true ceiling instead of a beam.

Board it
May 30, 2017
This board is sooo light I can hold it up over my head with one arm. It is quite stable and floats well above the water. It does flex some even at 15psi but not bad enough to affect anything. It isn't as fast as my hard board but not bad and goes fairly strait. The pump that came with it works good but to get it to 15psi is a real challenge!! The paddle isn't bad either and adjusts easy. I also like the way you can put a kayak seat on it..This is quite good for the money!!!

OK Product - Cheap Screws!
August 7, 2017
We hung the one we purchased over the weekend. After it was installed, I was disappointed to learn that we couldn't hang our paddle board with the fins facing up. We hung it under a porch and the fins stuck up too high to have it fit. So the fins have to face down - no big deal. The biggest disappointment - cheap screws! When installing the first rack using a properly sized philips head screwdriver - we wanted to set both of the screws before tightening them. Both screws stripped instantly. We then switched to a socket head and one of the screws literally snapped. To hang the second rack, I went to my workshop and got my own 4 inch screws. The rack seems to work fine, but for the price you would think that they would include some decent hardware.
Good rack for the price, but get your own mounting screws, the included ones are junk.
May 24, 2016
The hooks arrived quickly, but looked a bit rusty even though they were in the plastic packaging. The mounting screws were super crappy. The heads broke off when I screwed them into the wood, so I ended up using decking screws and some washers, which worked just fine.Once I got the rack actually mounted, it works pretty well and holds my 10'6" SUP very nicely. It holds the weight just fine and doesn't flex like some people have mentioned.
Eh... not bad
December 15, 2015
Well came in real quick but one was bent more than the other other so they look a lttle funny. Two of the screws snapped during installation which made it difficult to install where I wanted it. Had to buy my own screws to have it up. But its doing its job and holding the board.
Lacking the neccessary hardware.
November 19, 2015
Okay, let me start by saying that I wish I could give this product a 3.5 star rating. The first set arrived damaged with small rips on the foam of one of the racks and no hardware. I purchased another set, and shipped the first order back. I received a refund promptly.I believe, it is a good product that will do as advertised. So, by now you may be asking yourself: Why would he rate it a 3.5 star? Well, in the description, it states that it comes with the necessary hardware. Given, it doesn't state what type of hardware, but I believe that a product expected to hold a SUP would come with more than four 2.25 wood/sheetrock screws. That means that if you hang it in your garage, where, the sheetrock, by building code (at least in my state) is supposed to be 1/2 inch, and taking into account the almost 1 inch thickness of the rack(s), the supplied screws would go into the studs about 3/4 of an inch at best. And, yes, I would not hang this and expect just the sheetrock to hold it. As another post already suggests, I would use at least 3 inch screws and back them with washers. Otherwise, over time, the screw heads will enlarge the pre-drilled holes in the rack.Yes, I do tend to go overkill on stuff like this. Guess what?-though...No picture, lamp, clock, TV rack, or else; has ever fallen from my walls.

NOT my first inflatable SUP
January 21, 2016
I have 5 SUPs so I'm not a newbie with nothing to compare it to.Pros - Inflates to be rock hard at 12 psi, good looking, has bungee and plenty of D rings to attach coolers or gear, deck pad is textured and comfy. Good pump with gauge, duffle bag sized backpack and repair kit included . Paddle breaks down to 3 pieces - makes it great for travelling.Cons - Specs say board is 31 inches wide - my inflated board measures 29 inches and that includes the curved out rails. The deck pad (standing area) is 24 inches wide. Board has non standard fin and fin clamp - I'm not sure how you'd replace it if it were damaged, Biggest negative is the paddle - the included paddle is the cheapest paddle I've seen in any isup package; thick wobbly shaft, flat paddle with exposed connections to shaft, no finger/palm grips and not adjustable - other than taking out a 2 foot section. Manufacturer knows the paddle sinks so they suggests a paddle leash - that is not standard. SUP riders leash to their boards we do not leash to our paddles. Leashing to your board asks as a life preserver - leashing to your paddle is for kayakers not stand up paddlers. Too many leashes could be dangerous in river supping where you might encounter debris. Text printed on board says do not to inflate past 18psi which I've read confuses newbies into thinking they should inflate to 18psi. Good luck with that; 12 to 15 psi is plenty. I pump to 12 and I'm 140 lbs - a heavier person might need to inflate more.Uses - Good for flat water lakes and slow rivers. Much too narrow for Yoga.Neutral - Narrow board good for speed but not stability or larger riders. Feet should be shoulder width apart - if your shoulder width is less than 24 inches - you'll be fine. The air valve is in the nose not the tail - I dont know if that is good or bad it's just different. Inflated board has a slightly rounded bottom - not completely flat like my other boards.Photo: The three boards pictured are Jimmy Styks i32 (Costco Brand), Tower Adventurer and the Vilano Navigator. When you decide value of the board - factor in the cost of a real paddle. If you buy this board thinking you'll upgrade if you like the sport - you're not getting the real experience. You'll have to over exert to compensate for a poorly designed and heavy paddle. It's like buying a huffy to find out if you like biking. People often spend all their time researching boards and yaks and put no thought into the paddle. A good light solid paddle is very important to enjoying the activity.

Product shipped quickly, was reasonably priced, and functions properly... But with that being said, I am majorly disappointed that the description claims that it is "Made from galvanized steel and is powdercoated black to keep from rusting." but arrived, still in the plastic packaging, with rust flakes and stains.

While the racks themselves have a nice finish, the screw holes were misaligned in one of them and one of the screws supplied with the racks had a badly formed screw head which could not accept the driver. I replaced the screw head and ream the misaligned hole in the base to allow assemble of the rack.

Really disappointed after TONS of reasearch. Fell in love with this paddleboard after just one use So solid it didn't feel like an inflatable; sturdy, stable, so impressed but within a week there were three leaks at the seams. Has to be a manufacturing defect, right? Thank goodness for Amazon prime and easy returns. Afraid to get another though.

COR Board Racks Stand up Paddleboard | SUP | Surfboard Wall or Ceiling Rack | Simple Effective Design Has anyone received these racks and noticed the lower bar on the bottom (where the board should rest) is not square with the mounting bar on top? My photo shows quite the difference from their description photo. I thought this one was bent inward, but they are both exactly the same bend.I have a pretty wide and thick SUP that I wanted to hang but the tilt is making it impossible.
Not strong enough
September 14, 2015
Video came out sideways. Seemed like nice sleek holders. Very light and flimsy for being a supporting structure. Installed correctly
Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!
August 29, 2013
These racks are made from very inexpensive materials that are not suited to this purpose. They are not strong enough to support a SUP. Perhaps they'd work for an 8 ft and under surfboard, but they are not worth more than $5. They look OK in the picture, but don't be fooled into purchasing them like I was.
Cheaply made
July 15, 2013
The rack is too thin. I tightened the screws as much as it was possible without damaging the rack or the screws and it is still wobbly. I could have improvised a much better rack for much cheaper by buying a ceiling rack from Home Depot and extending the arms.

dissapointed in the quality and service
September 28, 2016
This is my 2nd sup I have bought and this one really is not worth the quality. And the pump never worked. I tried calling the company and they kept wanting me to try to fix it myself but I told them it just was not working and wanted either a new one or a credit for the one which was suppose to work. I've already bought another one so if I could get the credit that would be my first choice. If I pay for something I expect it all to work and not have to try to fix it myself. Is there anything you can do to help me out or contact the seller directly?Thank you and much appreciated,Michelle Hayward916-397-4077
Buy at your own risk
September 24, 2016
I've had this board just under a year. Although fun, it's been a HUGE amount of work to get into working order and still has a seam leak that Vilano and the Amazon vendor do not acknowledge are warranty issues. I purchased this Oct 2015, used once prior to weather turning cold. It's been stored indoors, deflated, all of its short life, out of sunshine. I've been able to use it about 10 times but it's never been able to hold air longer than 1-2 days. It took a while to figure out this is NOT normal--Inflatable boards should stay inflated all summer long. The valve was leaky, thank Youtube for assistance figuring how to tighten it using the included valve wrench. Once that issue was worked out, the leakage slowed but was still losing air after 4 hrs. Next issue, I isolated a seam leak, which most manufacturers and river/ocean sports shops consider to be warranty claims and VERY difficult to repair for any length of time. Now, despite 3 emails to Vilano, they want me to repair the leak and keep telling me I must have done something to the board ( I have always indicated it's been stored inside (NOT in the sun) except when in use.) So far, Vilano (Anthony and Josie via Vilano support) will not honor their warranty and I have a leaky $450 SUP that I've spent hours troubleshooting.
Not terrible, but might be worth it to spend extra on a nicer board
August 11, 2016
I ordered two boards in June, one white and one blue. They were different models when they arrived, and the white one was a higher quality board with additional d-rings and a side carry strap. The blue board had a faulty seam and leaked immediately. I returned/replaced the blue board, but the new one still wasn't to the same quality at the white board. That being said, the fin receiver on the white board is starting to warp. Also both boards have a strange defect directly underneath the inflation port (same problem on all three). Though both of the boards have worked fine after being used about 10 hours a week, I would not be surprised if they didn't make it through a second season.UPDATE: the fin holder on one of the boards is now too warped to hold a fin. I would not reccomend this board, as it is likely to malfunction very shortly after the return period ends. Spend the extra money on a different brand, as you will have to replace in a few months anyways.
Poor quality, leaks and fin is brittle and breaks easily. Don't throw your money away
August 1, 2016
Don't buy from this company. Don't waste your money on this low-quality product. I bought 2 SUPs last summer and invested about 1000 dollars total on what I thought was going to be a great family adventure. What a mistake. I only have used it maybe 10 times and one of them developed a leak in the seam. I wanted to just take care of it myself and took it to a marine shop and they fixed the leak (for $85)... and then... setting the board on the grass snapped the fin on the board! WHAT? So I called customer service at CycleForLess. They offered me nothing! Usually, a company would offer something to make the customer happy, but not this one. It was just 2 months past the 12 month warranty, and the customer service agent (even the supervisor) said there was nothing they could do about it. Really, nothing??? Maybe just a couple clicks on his computer screen... Hum. Had they offered me anything I would have been happy. Maybe just shipping me a free replacement fin for 30 bucks to keep a customer happy would have been a smart investment in customer satisfaction, but nope... So now, in only 14 months, I have a patched up leaky board and two broken fins. I'm so disappointed and want to warn everyone from buying from this company.
