Easy to swallow, and leaves absolutely no fishy after taste. I have taken several different brands of fish oil, and they normally all have some sort of fishy after taste or burps. I have not had any fishy burps or tastes with this product. Directions say you take one pill with a meal, up to 3 times daily. Roughly a 2 month supply. This is a great product at a great price!

I bought this when GNC lowered there mg per pill. They told me there is no reason to take a higher dose, but I can physically see and tell the difference in my body. Mainly my hair/skin. It has not fishy bumps. The pills are on the large size but easy to swallow. I take one per day Monday-Friday and bought this on May 22nd 2017. I still have pills left which is great! I like that when I do need more and can place it on my s & s acct. ON is a brand I trust and my gym now sells.

We've been looking for a good quality fish oil & came along Optimum Nutrition. Since the other Amazon reviews were so good we decided to give them a try. My partner & I will have our my annual health screens in the fall & will update once blood work comes back. On a positive note, these fish oil caplets don't leave a bad taste or cause burping like other fish oils we've taken.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do with ZERO fish burps. This is my third bottle. When I take this with my vitamins consistently I feel better. I trust Optimum Nutrition for most of my supplement needs.

After a year of using this, I am certain that I feel better when I am taking this consistently. Clearer head, less joint pain.

This is an excellent source of quality fish oil, and it is the ONLY one that, for me anyway, is truly burpless. The product arrived fresh and in good condition, not stuck together as some other reviewers stated. Has a fresh lemony scent. It arrived a day or 2 later than was promised by Amazon, actually shipping out on the day it was supposed to arrive.

No fish taste, just a pleasant, slightly lemon taste up front. The lemon flavor goes away instantly when you swallow the pill. Recently started taking it but it seems to work well.

The reason that I gave these capsules a 5 star rating is because they go down easily and neither my husband or myself have had any problems with burping up a fishy taste. I have no idea yet if taking them will have any effect on my cholesterol level.

Many buyers complained about pills stuck altogether, but I didn't have any problems like.(bought 4 bottles)But after I left it in my office a day, it showed sticky problem. I guess it depends on the weather condition.The expiration date is till July 19, which is enough to consume.Little fishy smells but overall it has great lemon sent.I've hated eating vitamins because it made me burping with unpleasant flavor.This is my first purchase of Nordic and it is great to not have fishy flavor when burping!

I have taken fish oils in the past and mostly they're just flat out gross. The aftertaste generally is the reason behind that. You just take them for the health benefits. These are not bad at all. No obvious scent or taste about them. I have yet to experience any aftertaste. They seem to work as intended. I give them 4 stars because you are supposed to take 3 pills a day which seems a bit excessive and if you are regularly busy like me you may forget to take them. Plus taking 3 a day means one pill does not have even close to the total amount of supplements from these that you need in a day. So my suggestion is if you were to get these make sure you are going to take all 3 pills each day otherwise they will likely be useless.

Big fan of ON products. Great quality and value. The coating is almost vanilla tasting. Only get fishy taste if I have a hot liquid to quickly afterwards.

No fish burps. Don't make my stomach upset. I can't speak to the efficacy of the product since I don't really feel a difference. (I take a lot of vitamins)

Sometimes this product causes me some acidity and feel the taste of fish oil but has contributed a lot in my training helping me to reduce my body fat faster than usual.

This isn't the #1 supp but since Jym's isn't on here this will have to do. I really like the size of the capsules and the fact that there's no fishy aftertaste like some others I've had in the past. Take 3x with 3 of your meals — I take mine for breakfast, 3rd/4th meal, and 6th meal (shake) before bed.

I put it in the fridge, as some suggested, and have had no issues with sticking, taste, or "fishy burps."

After avoiding supplements, especially Omega 3, for years because of their tendency to repeat or cause stomach upset, I'm sold on this brand. It's pricey but worth it. I'm giving this one 4 stars, simply because I prefer Ultimate Omega 2x, which allows you to take fewer capsules daily.

I usually love this product. This time one or more of the softgels popped and left an oily coating on the rest of the bottle's contents. If this happens to you, complain while you have the chance--I have to wash my hands every time I take these and because they are oily I am not comfortable loading them into my pill keeper. I am worried they will mess with the physical integrity of the pills they would come in contact with.This is the first time I have had this problem.

Many have noted that they have zero "Fish Burps". I wish I could say the same. About 50% of the time I do end up having them. Your mileage may vary.

Just recently got into the realm of fish oil pills at the persistent advice of a friend who is a naturopath. This means that when deciding on what to get, I knew that I should try pills with high DHA/EPA levels, for optimal results. At first I started taking a triple strength, Nature’s Own, but despite my skin looking fantastic, the derivatives that are used for those pills seriously got my stomach in knots almost every day i was taking them. I then tried these Optimum Nutrition Fish Oil, 300 MG, 200 Softgels, and they gave me no burps, but I didn’t feel an immediate difference in my body. Over a couple of weeks I noticed more mobile joints and a stable mood that elevated the effects of another supplement I’m taking. I take Nootropx - Ultimate Brain Vitamin for Limitless Brain - Mental Focus and Concentration with Memory Enhancement Supplement - Unlock Your Brain Potential and Improve Memory Power ( 90 Caps) concurrently with the Fish Oil pills, (they’re for focus and clarity) and the effects of those pills seem to be enhanced by my taking the Optimums. The reason I only give the optimums 3 stars is that even though it’s been a few weeks, I still haven’t seen the same potency in results that I did when I was taking the triple strength pills. So they work, but not that well, and they don’t bother my stomach, which I guess is worth it. Basically, there are better products out there, but dependent upon the sensitivity of your stomach, they may be the right pills for you.

My vitamins came stuck together. Probably from the heat. I will not be ordering any type of gel caps through the mail again. Especially during the summer months.

Used these for 4 months and I didn’t notice any change. I bought these in order to control my cholesterol level and promote heart health. My recent visit to the doctor proved that nothing was happening from using of these pills. I was enraged because I was on auto delivery for something that wasn’t giving me results. I now use Omega Plus – 4x Strength Complete Fish Oil Supplement with Omega 3’s. Really pleased with the coating of these fish oil softgels - I would never even guess that there was fish oil inside. Quality is good - I feel the difference. Well-pleased.

The price is low for a reason - there are only 300mg of EPAs and DHAs. I had to take nearly 8 of these each day to hit my goal.If you are taking these and actively working out I would recommend LifeExtension instead.

i agree with what the others are saying!1. the fact that they don't display the amount of EPA and DHA is "fishy" ;)2. the total amount of fatty acids is only 300 mg which is way less than most of the other brands per soft gel3. i burp when i take themgoing to have to find another brand for my fish oils. as always, big brands like ON don't care about their customers' health, only their money. what else is new!

This product causes me to experience a heartburn feeling, as well as a discomfort in the chest region. Will not reorder.

Product got fishy smell real fast on two bottles. Not sure what's happening but have bought before and never had this problem.

When I bought this product, I thought it read that it had more EPA and DHA. When I received it, I quickly realized the mistake and sent it back. I'm giving the second star b/c I was allowed to send it back, thank you.No offense to the product and makers of this product, but for "Optimal" performance the doses need to be much higher.Also on Amazon is NOW, Molecularly Distilled, Super Omega EPA. 720mg EPA/480mg DHA in just two capsules. Also, I give these to my dogs and just cut open the capsule and pour on their food. They like it.

What not as fresh as purchasing local.

The quality of the supplement is excellent. HOWEVER, it is not 1000 mg of Omega 3s. It is only 690 mg.Promoting this product as 1000mg is seriously misleading!

Pills were all stuck together when they arrived. The few that I was able to pry off were great. No fish burps. Too bad won't purchase again.

I used to use Nordic Naturals in the liquid form (strawberry flavor) and I had NO problems. However, when I switched to this pill form I got very itchy and w/i a 2 month period I had a spotty rash on my leg. My doc said that sometimes certain fish oils will cause this reaction. I stopped used this product and I was fine. I assume, it is the mix of what type of fish oil they use, or perhaps the concentration. I am now using another brand and I have had no issues. Nordic is a good brand, just something is this blend was not good for me. just a heads up.

No where on the description of this item does it say "consult with your physician if you are allergic to iodine". I cannot use it because I am allergic and have an anaphylaxis reaction. So here it sits in my house. I should return it but haven't gotten that far as of yet. I never would have purchased this if it would have said that. Maybe it does and I just missed it but I don't think so

I have never before had issues with these purchases, however this time the order was delivered 4 days late. And with the hot days we've been having I'm worried that the gel tabs are okay and not spoiled. They were all lumped together and stuck to one another. If they are spoiled, I will return them.

I did like these fish oil pills I went back to my old ones. Suggestion make sure when buying fish oil make that mercury is not in your fish oil pills. The ones I purchased gives me energy I did not like these fish oil pills

First order of these was great. Got a new shipment a fee days ago... The coating felt much thinner and different. Then after investing, had horrible fish burps

makes my face super oily so i end up with lots of blackheads,whiteheads acne. i stopped using it and my face cleared up

I don't know if they work. Haven't been able to take them long enough to find out. First off, they are huge, but the real problem is that they make me terribly nauseous, no matter how full my stomach is at the time. It doesn't last long, but I can't force myself to do it except on an occasional basis. Sorry.

These fish oil softgels used to be better. I'm not sure what they changed, but the latest bottle I got gave me headaches. I also noticed that they stopped listing a defined amount of EPA/DHA, which makes me wonder if there is even any in there anymore. It's very strange that they used to list it on their softgels, but that they don't now.You could almost say it's fishy. No, I couldn't resist.

I've never gotten a headache from a supplement before. After three days of headaches, I stopped taking these and the headaches went away. It was the only thing new in my diet at the time. Very strange. I suppose there's probably something about fish oil and headaches, but honestly, I'm not in the mood to search for the answer.This was just my experience, doesn't mean the product is bad, but it's certainly not for me.

So i have ordered this several times and purchase from Amazon weekly and love the experience. The product is fine, but twice this week I have ordered the 1000mg as displayed and only received the 690 mg bottle so I have to send it back again. SO disappointing and inconvenient and I still don't have the product.

Nearly all the pills in the bottle were stuck together. Living in Colorado, a virtual desert with persistent 10% humidity, this should be a near impossibility however these pills managed to do it somehow.Returned

Came all clumped together in one big blob. Something was just not right about that.

It came all glued,very hard to get them from the bottle,disappointing,first time that happened
