FINALLY A GOLF NET THAT CAN BE SET UP TAKEN DOWN AND FUNCTIONS!
June 20, 2017
This was the LAST in a long line of golf nets we tried and returned.

Our goals were easy up & easy down - by one person. Light enough to move without taking down. It doesn't scoot backwards either line some do after repeated ball hits. The only negative is it doesn't capture all the balls all the time. Often the ball pops out and roll back towards you. Someday I'll make a bean bag snake to stop them from rolling under the sofa or pool table!
Really amazing net, I'm glad I went with this one
March 18, 2017
Really amazing net, I'm glad I went with this one. I have the 6x6 size and I am using it for golf practice. It's perfect and extremely easy to assemble, there's no thinking involved in the build since everything is attached with string so it takes the guesswork out of which piece goes where. If you strike the golf ball with any iron above 9 the ball simple bounces from the net right back into your original position. It's perfect. Would highly recommend.

FYI I was hoping to use this indoor but apparently it needs some hooks to be hammered into the grass
but besides that this net is great. It can easily be put up and down ...
July 7, 2016
After shopping around for a few weeks I finally found a practice net that was inexpensive and allowed me to hit all types of shots, from wedges to driver. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to hang the net on the frame without the help of another person, but besides that this net is great. It can easily be put up and down within a few minutes for easy use and storage. I bought this net so I didn't have to waste money at the range all the time and within 2 weeks it's probably paid for itself. The only downfall is one that will come with any net not accompanied by a digital system, you can't see where the ball would end up. I'd recommend this net for anyone who is trying to maximize their practice. I've already noticed an added comfort level in swinging the club. I've gone from mid 90's shooter to low 90's, hoping to be an 80's shooter by the end of the summer.
So-so! So easily set up and so much fun.
July 25, 2015
Would be 5 stars but for the three way connectors which should be treated somewhat gingerly when moving net. If you set it up and don't move it to cut grass 5 stars. If you move it ever so carefully when cutting grass five stars. Just don't let your lawnman lay his hands on it. A really great product. Easy to set up. Does everything it is supposed to do. Highly recommended. On second thought, 5 stars because Amazon sent me a replacement for the one with a broken connector.
Great training gear
January 12, 2015
Bought this for my father as a gift. He's obsessed with golf and this has served as a great training aid. It set up nice and easy and is sturdy and quite handy! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is serious about golf and looking for a driving range experience but can't afford to do it day after day. This is certainly the next best thing! Excellent addition to our baseball home practices
April 12, 2016
Excellent addition to our baseball home practices, Kids use it for soft toss and also pitching and even a backstop for playing wife ball, So easy to put up and take down, very large but stores easily and small. I love it and the kids love it and use it every single day
Easy to set up and take down
May 1, 2015
This has held up well to several practices with the Pony league team (Pinto level, 7 and 8-year-olds) that I coach. I've probably set it up and taken it down 50+ times over the last several months and so far I haven't had any problems. Setup is pretty simple and can be done quickly once you've done it a few times.Obviously durability will be the key with this net, but I'm hoping to get at least a few years of routine use out of it.My only complaint is the bag. I've never been able to get it completely closed after setting it up the first time. Maybe if spent a half hour very carefully folding the net I could squeeze it back in, but I'm just going to pull it back out in a few days so what's the point. Much like camping tents, I wish they would just make the bag about twice the size.
Great Net!
June 6, 2014
Great net, Easy setup! Comes with the target net to attach! Much better than the SKLZ practice net that I just returned.I could not believe how simple it was to setup and how sturdy the frame feels.I had purchased the SKLZ practice net, set it up once, had problems & returned it. I purchased this net to replace it and what a difference. You can just tell from the moment that you open the box. The carry bag feels very strong & opens the entire length of the bag not just the end. This makes putting the net in & taking it out of the bag very easy. I removed the metal frame first to set up. First thing I noticed is that these are some nice steel poles that are held together by a steel cable and not fiberglass poles held together by a bungie cord. The poles snap together and make the base. Then you insert 2 poles into the base to make the sides & attach the net to the 2 side poles & to the feet on the base and your done. There is also a piece to go across the bottom which we did not use. However we did use the target with the catch net attached to it. This thing is great for any player to work on their aim & and it is adjustable so it can be moved higher or lower. My son used it for about 20 minutes then I took it down & bagged it up which was just as easy as assembly. If your looking for a great, affordable, easy to set up net that should last a while I would look no further!
Great product
April 18, 2014
I'll tell you why I purchased this one. All the components are attached to each other so you can't lose a part. You need to put the 2 poles on the base and attach the net. All of them collapse/fold on themselves making it easy to assemble quickly. I took it to a softball practice where there was another type of net there. Both of them required you to get the pieces and put them together first, then run the poles through the net. Well, as I put mine together, one of the coaches was putting the other one together. After I finished mine, I helped him with his. Couldn't put it up...because he was missing the top part of one of the poles rendering it useless. According to him, it was there the day before, but not today. That's a major plus going for the SKLZ one.I purchased the 7'X7' one because I intend on using it for soccer in the fall. Currently I am using it for girls (U8) softball. They have fun trying to hit the net when I set it up at first base. Also, the added pitching target is a plus. It just attaches to the net with hook and you can adjust it up and down. The only thing I have added was some velcro wraps that I use to keep the net attached to the horizontal bar on the ground (so the net doesn't bunch up towards the front).Had an issue with the bottom frame. Contacted SKLZ and the sent out a replacement right away. Couldn't be happier. It's lightweight, portable, and just simple to use. All coaches for soccer, football, baseball, softball, etc. should have one. And it's affordable to boot!
Great net
February 4, 2014
I bought this net in April 2013 for the use of our son, who was then ten and who is now eleven. We use it for hitting balls of a tee and as a first-base target for infield drills. The net does a great job of catching the balls softly and retaining them in the net, The net has plenty of slack, which allows the ball to be caught and slowed down gradually. Outside on windy days we have needed to use the included stakes, but usually the stakes are not needed. The strike zone target is nice. To simplify setup, I used some chain link connectors to fasten the straps of the strike-zone net to the corners of the main net, so that for setup I need only attach the four corners of the main net to the poles. The net is now set up in our basement as a winter indoor hitting practice station. Both my son and I have been using it and it is holding up fine. This net will probably also make a good backstop for first base at our team practices this spring, since the fence at our practice field last season did not extend far enough to stop balls which got by the first basemen and many balls went into the wooded downward-sloping hill which was beside first base.I agree with a previous reviewer who suggested that a larger carrying bag would be nice. It is possible to fit the net and poles back into the bag after use, but that requires very careful folding. I plan to use a duffel bag which has a zipper along the side when we take this net to our team practices this spring.
Fantastic practice tool
September 23, 2013
This net can be set up and taken down in about 3-4 minutes easily by my 9-year old. He uses it for pitching practice (pitching into the pocket attachment), and both soft toss and tee batting practice. My 12-year old uses it for practicing his shots for soccer. The slack in the net, coupled with the ground stakes and flexible poles, allows the net to absorb powerful kicks. I didn't expect it to work so well for soccer, especially after negative experiences with other home goal set-ups (PVC pipe style goals) in the past. We reset the ground stakes 1-2 times per soccer practice session, but no adjustments are needed for pitching or batting practice. We'll use it in the basement this winter once the snows start, which allows batting practice during winter months. The quick set up and carry bag makes it great to take on vacation. The kids abosolutely love it. The only negative I've noticed so far is that the yellow paint scratches easily from the U-shaped ground stakes, but that should be expected. Too early to say how well the ent will hold up over time, but as long as it is not left out in the rain, it should be fine. Overall, this is a fantastic practice tool for little leaguers and youth soccer.

Great practice net
August 19, 2017
A great hitting net that's easy to setup due to the linked poles and flexible shafts. Wide hitting area minimizes stray balls from escaping. Although most of our backyard is cemented around an in-ground pool, we filled a couple of sand bags to anchor the. net. Only issue is that swirling wind may cause the slack in the net to fly back to you and restrict your follow through. That can be fixed by tying the net to the back horizontal pipe.
Very easy to setup and disassemble
April 28, 2017
Very easy to setup and disassemble. Nice strong netting and I love the ability to be able work on my chipping ability. As someone new to the game, it's nice being able to practice whenever I have free time.
This is a great ball catcher and it's very easy to set up ...
October 5, 2016
This is a great ball catcher and it's very easy to set up and take down. It's nice that this unit has a target mat hanging down to help stop the balls. The only reason I've given 4 starts instead of 5 is the second time I set this up one of the little push buttons that connects the tubing broke. It still fits together and works but those little buttons are kind of cheesy.
Great net!! Satisfied for now
July 24, 2015
Pretty good net! Set up was easy. I'm leaving mine assembled in the garage so who know what kind of condition it will be in after a few months of exposure to the elements. Catches balls like it's supposed to. You get some feed back from the net to tell how well or poorly you've hit the ball. I had it blow over on me twice even with the 4 ground stakes. Might invest in some heavier duty stakes. Other than that, it's great. I was torn between this and the Calloway quad net which was more expensive. For now, this net will do just fine
Bang for your buck
September 17, 2011
I tried $40 and $80 nets in the past that were worthless. They would not stand upright on their own, and golf balls would go right through the nets as if there was no net.Enter the Quickster. What an outstanding product. If you're hesitant about spending extra money for a golf net, not being sure if it's worth the cost because of your past experiences with bad products, jump right on into the quickster with two feet.Setup was as simple as described, the net is outstanding. It stops golf balls from wedge to the driver with ease. You can use real golf balls or the foam kind, doesn't matter. I had a problem with the target when I tried to attach it because the stitching on the attach point unraveled. But SKLZ sent a new one right out. They were very responsive. The frame is well built, you can use it with or without the anchors, but the anchors are recommended if you have it on a lawn or dirt and it gets breezy. This net saves me 30 minutes in driving to and from the range, and I get some good practice in my backyard with the satisfaction of the sound of a well struck golf ball. I actually think my practice sessions are better because I focus more on the swing rather getting distracted with the flight of the golf ball. My ballstriking has definitely improved. For me I was deciding between this net and the Callaway net for $180. If this system didn't work, I was going to send it back and try the Callaway net for an extra $70, but I'm thoroughly happy with this product, and the price is right. I'm going to move it into my garage when it gets cold or rainy. It's very easy to disassemble and reassemble.Enjoy! (Four stars because of target issue. But it was minor. Otherwise, 5 stars.)

Great Product for the Price (7x7 baseball)
March 29, 2015
Bought the 7x7 Net with pitching target for my 5 y/o tee baller on a lightning deal. The product must be popular since 20% of the inventory had been claim in the first 5 minutes. Wow!Great practice aid for indoor AND outdoors. We set up in our living room and swing away. then take it to the park on nice days. Assembly was less than 5 minutes out of the shipping and retail box. The instructions are well written, understandable, and short. After a few times assembling this, it should go up in less time. It does say "slight bowing of the base frame is part of the Tension-Tite System" in the instructions so don't be alarmed. The upright poles are supposed to bend as well (like assembling a camping tent).Materials look like good quality and the assembly design looks sound. Previous reviews indicated there was an issue with the poles fitting too tight (and possibly breaking). The unit I received had no such issue. SKLZ must have fixed that earlier. Product comes with ground stakes to secure to to ground and a cordura carrying bag with shoulder strap.5x5 net would have been adequate, but the larger net allows my player to grow into it. SKLZ makes an 8x8 marketed towards golf in case you are thinking about using these nets for multiple sports. I believe it is the same construction and netting. Just use the same one.Very pleased with the product.
Great net - BUT included target orientation is wrong for baseball pitching.
March 13, 2015
Great net - works well for tee or soft toss or quasi-backstop for practice. - BUT included target orientation is wrong for baseball pitching (too wide & not tall enough) & can't be changed because only the 2 top straps adjust. Again great net, but for that quibble. We wound up getting another target to place in front of the net for pitching practice.
Worth it! Easy to use and great for soft toss...
July 5, 2014
Love this thing. It sets up quickly and is pretty easy to haul around. One "elbow" cracked so I can see a future where that could become a problem. Also the bag is just an inch too small making repacking just a bit of a hassle. Not too awful but I wish the velcro closures were plastic snap plugs instead. That would make toting it around a bit more confident. I would buy it again, and have used it A LOT for our baseball team and plan on hitting some golf balls into it too.
Awesome net the second time around!
April 24, 2014
I would have given 5 stars if the product was not defective the first time around. The poles have a wire that connects them all together, similar to tent poles. This means they can only be assembled one possible way so I was pretty upset when I put this thing together for the first time only to find the bottom legs were pointing in opposite directions. So be sure to take this thing out and assemble it before you find out too late at a practice or game warm-up! With that being said the new net I received works fantastic and really is simple to set up and take down. If my 9 year old were a little taller he could easily do this by himself. Also, wonderful customer service with Amazon. Because the first net was defective they sent me a new one immediately and told me I just needed to send the other net back within 30 days, not a bad deal.
Almost Perfect!
April 10, 2014
This net is awesome. Any parent with a baseball/softball player quickly gets to that wonderful age where backyard hitting is no longer a possibility. We recently got to the point of going through an entire bag of baseballs, then spending a half hour trying to find all of the balls in the weeds and such. This wasn't working for us.This net, coupled with a nice baseball tee, we use one made by McGregor, works perfect for getting tons of hitting practice without spending all your time running around the backyard gathering up balls. This also works great for carrying to practice and setting up a hitting station. The kids can line up and go through hitting drills while the coach plays the role of placing the balls on the tee.It is a shame that I have to take a star away from this awesome product, but we nearly returned this product due to one of the connections being flawed. On one of the lower corner connections, the metal clip that pops into the hole on the other rod is fouled and will not work correctly. The internal bungee cord on that connection is also fouled up. But, after studying the connection and deciding that it was a tight enough connection as to not require the metal clip anyway, we decided that since the rest of the product was above expectations, there was really no need to return the product and to just accept the minor problem. Thanks to SKLZ for an awesome product. We have several products from SKLZ and they really seem to know what products are in demand and how best to make them work. This net, once assembled, is quite large. But, disassembled, it stores well and takes up very little room using the bag that comes with it. Setup takes just a few short minutes and tear down is the same. No tools are required for setup or take down. We have used this net for a couple of months now and it continues working perfectly.
Great investment
September 30, 2012
I've had this net for about 6 months and it is great. It is bigger than we expected and that was a nice surprise. The quality of the material is better than anticipated and when broken down goes right back in the storage bag for easy transport. After the first time, it takes about 2 minutes to set up and break down. My daughter likes the throwing net in the middle so she can concentrate on her targeting. At first I thought this was a little more than I wanted to spend, but after seeing what less money gets I would recommend this product for any player as it takes a beating and is still in the same shape the day I got it.

Net has 3 holes in it already
August 8, 2016
Had this net since May. It's got three holes in it already. I have never used it outside. I am not a hitting the ball 160mph either. Contacted the company and had to submit some pictures to try and get a new net. We will see what happens. Not sure why the net is tearing. One reviewer suggested it may be the spin on the ball. I like the set up. Hope the new net will be better. Customer service has been good so far.
Great until it breaks!
January 21, 2016
I set this up in my basement with with the 36" X 60" XL SuperMat Golf Wood Tee Golf Mat and the SkyTrak launch monitor. This product worked amazing until it didn't. First of all, yes this net is extremely easy to put together and take down...5 stars for that. I'm giving it three stars based on its durability! I had it for a month hitting real balls before one finally broke through putting a hole in the drywall($10 patch and paint no biggie). I thought it would hold up much longer than this, hopefully I will be able to get a refund because I no longer have any confidence in this net holding up long term. I'm just glad the only casualty was my basement drywall and not a neighbors house or something more serious!I probably hit more balls than most ppl, but I would probably only recommend foam or almost golf balls with this net if you want it to hold up for more than a month or two.
I would like to compliment the ease of assembly and storage size ...
May 25, 2015
I am on my 3rd net. I have returned two after the Nets could not absorb the the punishment of hitting real golf balls into it. The previous two nets both resulted in the nets ripping from full swings with 6 & 7 irons. I have hit full swing drivers into it that it has absorbed however, neither of the first two nets lasted 1000 hits. I would like to compliment the ease of assembly and storage size that the entire assembly breaks down to. The manufacturer also deserves compliments for sending out two replacements at no charge. I like the setup so well that I'm going to try making my own alterations to the net or ask the manufacturer if they would be willing to send me an extra net which in theory should be twice as strong.
Great but not as strong as they say
September 16, 2014
This is a good net and did the job for sometime. It is small and fits in my apartment. I hit at the minimum a 100 balls into this net a day. After about 9 months I put an 8 iron through the net and broke one of my windows in my apartment. I notice that there was some ware on the net in the spot where I hit the ball. This net was kept in doors year around. The product worked very well but the net is not as strong as they say. I will be buying a impact net to place in front of the original net. I would recommend to anyone to get an impact net or put a sheet in front of the net to prevent the net from damage.
Yellow rod adds a big dent every time hit by a ball
March 20, 2014
I had it for a few weeks. It works great. One problem I have: the yellow rod adds a big dent every time hit by a ball. Now that there are so many dents on the curvy rod (the one on the ground behind the net), it may snap any time. I am not sure it has a warranty or it's covered by the warranty.
Easy to setup..Net Quality is just OK.
October 23, 2013
This net is well worth the money. It's easy to setup, easy to take down and it's super portable. The quality of the materials is good, and I can rip drives into it no problem. If there is a wind, make sure it's behind you as the net has a tendency to blow toward you, which inhibits its ability to catch the ball. Also, I bought the 8x8 which is probably unnecessary. the 6x6 would have been a better option because you can take it indoors. I don't ever chip into it, so I don't really get to use that upper 2 feet.1 Month UPDATE:So I've had the net for about a month, and I'm sorry to say that I've already ripped through the with a ball. Fortunately no one was hurt, but it really freaked me out. I didn't expect the net to fail within the month, although I hit about 100 balls a day into it. So I contacted the company, and to my surprise they sent me a new one, free of charge. I can't say enough about their customer service... it's AWESOME. Well, the new net came and I decided to do a controlled test with a single 6 iron hitting 50 balls to see what the wear was like. Sadly, I noticed that the netting was starting to stretch and unwind at the intersecting weaves. It's still holding up, but I inspect it every time I use it. I'm not a big baller by any means so I'm confused as to why the premature wear. That being said, even in that one month, I probably saved $500 in driving range balls. Still worth it.I would suggest you face this net against a fence, or use it in an open field. Also, if you have the case of the shanks, just go inside. This net will not catch those buggers. Happy hitting.

Good, but not as good as they used to.
August 3, 2017
Would have been a 5 STAR review, but: product is just over one year old and it is starting to break. Bearing on main frame is frozen and L bracket that accepts the vertical uprights is broken. I have the 5' version of this net (is at least one year older) and still works great. I like many aspects of this product, and utilize many other SKLZ products, but this one just didn't cut the mustard. Fortunately, Amazon was very helpful and is facilitating a return. Unfortunately, I won't purchase another one of these. For $100, I need it to last more than one year.
Net functions OK, but don't expect longevity
November 29, 2016
Buy a BowNet or equivalent. You think you're saving a few $ to get a similar product, but like most Sklz products I've tried these nets don't last very well. Ours has cracked both the black plastic elbow joints at the rear and also one of the bungee cords holding the flexible poles together. Also the strike zone is completely the wrong shape for pitching.
Only for young players. Not stable enough for higher velocity and bat speed.
October 12, 2016
TLDR: Not stable enough for High School level and up. "Strike zone" net is not a strike zone and balls bounce out of the "strike zone"The net is super simple to set up. It took me less that 3 mins from opening the box the first time to having a completely set up net. It takes less than two minutes to set up. The "strike zone" net would be good, but its the wrong way. It is wider that tall, and it should be taller than wide. The way the adjustable straps are you would not be able to rotate it the correct way. The "strike zone" is much wider than the with of the plate and it's probably tall enough for tee ball kids, but unless your facing Jeff Bagwell all the time the "strike zone" is not tall enough. Note: I keep saying "strike zone" cause they call it that but it no where resembles a strike zone. Also, the "strike zone" does not catch the balls into the net. About 50% of the fastballs I threw into it bounced right out... maybe I do throw like Chapman....Why only for young players? Even with the stakes in place the net kept falling over when I was throwing into it. Now, I would like to think I throw like Aroldis Chapman, but I have a tear in my labrum and I probably throw 50 mph on a good day. I did not even try hitting into as I did not feel like shagging the net along with the ball that I hit into it and carried it away. Maybe the 7x7 is better but, from what I can tell, the legs are far to short to be stable for High School level and up. The 7x7 doesn't look like the support legs are any longer so I doubt it'd be better, more likely worse. The net and the legs seem like good quality. The bag that it all fits in is made of really thick nylon, so it seems very durable. The bungee cables inside the poles are steel so they won't snap after prolonged stretching like elastic bungees will. The flexible pole is very stable and strong, much more heavy duty than what you would find in a tent. I have no doubt it would stand the test of time and abuse, however the problem is that it won't stand. The footprint is far to narrow to support baseballs flying into the net. So unless you want to only hit ground balls and pitch in the dirt you will need a second person standing by the net to prop it back up every time it falls down. Which should be fine since only young athletes should be using this and their dad or mom will be there with them.Edit/Update: I decided to unpack it one more time this morning and set it up then hit balls into it. Confirmed. Will not stand up to soft toss hits. I was tossing to myself and swinging so I was not getting full power hits in. I was just making contact, and even then the net was falling down with any ball hit line drive or higher.
Easy to transport and set up
October 30, 2015
Pros:Easy to transport and set up.Cons:In my opinion, the design is flawed. The outside support elbows (in yellow) bow out so much that they are exposed from the front and not protected by the net. So if hit with a ball or a wild pitch with good velo you're done. Not sturdy and must be staked to the ground, with the slightest wind it will fall over. One support beam broke during the second use. The net can still be used, but I wouldn't recommend this product or buy it again.
Don't expect the Target to last.
October 12, 2014
I use it for baseball and soccer. This season my son is starting to pitch so was looking forward to using the target net. The straps deteriorated due to the elements. That's to be expected, but when I tried to buy a new target, I could not find it on their website. I contacted SKLZ via their website and never received a response.
Easy to Set Up. Durability = 2 years
August 4, 2014
This successfully made it through the Spring 2014 season, and I use it probably 3-4x/week. The targeting net is probably a little less durable than desired, but the main net is still going strong. Hopefully I get Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 out of it as well.UPDATE: December 2015 - After almost 2 years and 6 youth baseball seasons, the net is now dead. As stated before, the targeting net didn't make it through Season 1, but the main net lasted longer. One of the tension poles lost its internal bungee in late 2014. That was not a big deal. A year later, the second tension pole lost its internal bungee cord, and one of the pieces bent to where it it no longer serviceable. I called SKLZ for replacement parts; however, the poles have been updated so my net is no longer compatible. It's a little disappointing that a $100 hitting net does not last longer than two years. I have a Bownet that takes a little longer to set up, but is in near mint condition after the same two years. It cost about $50 more at the time, but now it's still in service while the SKLZ net sits sadly in the garage. Not sure whether to buy another SKLZ net or just shell out the extra cash and go with the Bownet.

I've had this in my basement and haven't used it much but recently got a launch monitor that I've hit 2000 shots on and my last PW shot went through the net and put a hole in my basement wall. I have only used a PW with this net and I'm shocked the netting shredded so quickly. Going to look for something more heavy duty, maybe an impact screen.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He uses it a couple of time a week on average. Yesterday he was hitting balls and one went right through the net and into the (thankfully) empty lot next to us. He took good care of it so not sure what happened. As a side note he did really like it while it lasted though on days when he couldn't get a round of golf in.
Net is a fail.
March 15, 2016
The net is flimsy. After hitting only a couple hundred balls into this net, had three balls punch through and fly into the neighbor's yard. Only swinging a PW at 75 mph head speed. So, not like I was firing a driver into it. I was NOT using the target panel hanging in front, but that shouldn't be required. Love the frame design as far as ease and speed of put-up and take-down and portability. A shame the net is just too cheap.

I purchased this product about a month ago and left it in the package waiting on my mat to get delivered. First use developed a hole and I launched a golf ball through the net. The net does not appear to be very well constructed. I am going to contact Amazon and see if I can have the net replaced.

Does not hold up well to weather- NEEDS UV INHIBITORS
March 26, 2017
The product does not hold up well outside and the net degrades from the sunlight. The pitching target net has broken, mainly from the corners straps deteriorating from the sunlight. Nice design- poor components. The manufacturer needs to add UV inhibitors to ALL of the parts!
Broke multiple times after replacement parts received
April 15, 2016
Great product. Had issue a year after purchase and they took care of it. Great customer service.Update: The frame broke again. I can't recommend this product. Unfortunate as it only would take stronger frame connectors to get 5 stars. It's the only drawback that I can tell.
Plastic cracks on corner piece
January 8, 2016
My son used the net twice and then the plastic corner bracket cracked.
THINK TWICE
October 7, 2015
This quick net has been a disappointment. It is much too large to break down, pack up and take to the ballpark for practice so I leave it in the back yard. We give it a work out at least twice a week. In less than a years time (12/2014 punch date), the PLASTIC (NOT METAL) elbow joints that hold together the bottom of the frame, have began to crack due to the tension placed on them as a result of the flex bar design. One has failed causing the net to fall over if not propped up with a brick. The small ball catch piece in the center broke almost immediately which is fine because it comes out of adjustment with every hit or pitch. Because this product was so expensive, I am having to pay to have "METAL" elbows made to replace the plastic. You may want to explore having a metal shop custom fabricate a backyard system is you are considering this net.
That corner now comes apart easily, leading to the net falling over if pitched ...
September 23, 2015
This net is well designed but the metal and plastic frame parts have not held up to being outside in our yard for only part of the last three months - which is surprising. The net itself is durable and has held up well. However the plastic corner joints have cracked and the pop up buttons clicking the metal frame together are strained, with one having broken. That corner now comes apart easily, leading to the net falling over if pitched or hit into aggressively. The ends of the yellow bar pieces are rusted and badly faded already This net has been assembled / disassembled a total of six times and sat outside through part of a mild Chicago summer, so the fact that is is so busted up is disappointing. It is intended to be used outside and should easily withstand such frankly gentle use. It is clear that it won't survive a second season. See the attached pics for details.
Works but broke during first use
June 14, 2014
Great idea but poor execution. Upper poles appeared to be too large for lower mounts resulting in an overly tight fit. Lower bracket broke during first use. I will contact AMAZON for a repair or replace. IF it hadn't broken it would be 5 stars.

Poor Quality
April 18, 2017
We used the net for a couple months and one day we were hitting outside and a ball flew through the net. The ball hit our neighbor's house behind our net. There was a hole right where the ball flew through the net. The quality was poor for the price.
Pole snapped, now its garbage
October 6, 2016
Pole snapped in two the second time it was put up. Complete junk and definitely a waste of money!
The netting easily came apart after a few practices
January 10, 2016
I was so happy to have this net first because it was big, but easy to set up. The pole and the frame were sturdy. However, the netting easily came apart after a few practices. The ball came through the net and broke switch box and made a few big holes in the wall of my garage. The netting was not strong at all and I can't use this net anymore. I was looking for the replacement netting, but hard to find it. The seller must sell the replacement netting Pls check the recent customer reviews before purchase
Short and sweet. Didn't last long

only lasted six months and it cracked and is unusable. Bummer.
Poor quality for the price.

Have used this net only a dozen times and it already has a hole in it from a 7 iron shot. It's now outside the return window. Very poor quality for the price.

Not durable at all
September 7, 2016
The bunnies cords that hold the poles together snapped after a handful of uses. I've literally only used the net about 5 times and when I went to put it together the cords snapped. It's been stored in a climate controlled room and has been well taken care of. I'll send the company and email and write back after I get a response.
I want to love this net but the fact that it keeps breaking ...
January 11, 2016
I want to love this net but the fact that it keeps breaking is the reason I can only give it a one star. It works great for so many sports but they need to figure out an answer to the cheap plastic corners. When we first got it, one corner broke when putting it together so they replaced it right away. It lasted less than a year, only used during the summer months. Then one of the corners broke again. You can't replace just the plastic so had to pay to replace the whole frame that holds the net. Within 2 uses it broke again. I think I will look for something else.
This is why we have so many land fills.

I bought this due to a lot of positive reviews. Don't know if it used to be built well and they changed materials or manufacturers, but this is as cheap and flimsy as it gets. The back black bars are cheap plastic and bent so far, there is no way they will not break. The main net has 4 very cheap fabric loops that the add-on pitching net attaches to and one of the loops ripped the first time I attached the pitching net. The stakes it comes with are just as thin and cheap too. I put this up and we had 10-15mph winds and it pulled the back stakes right out of the ground and it fell over twice. Some of the reviews say adults are using this and there is no way. My kids are 8 & 10 and there is no way it would stay upright if anyone older than that was kicking a football or soccer ball at it like some reviews state. My kids were so excited when I surprised them with it and now they are totally disappointed. For the sake of it, I checked with customer service to see if I could just replace the main net with the broken loop so I finally get to try it out, but of course I have to pack up the whole thing again and ship it back. Forget it, complete waste of time. Just another low bid China product, shame on you.
Would not use it for any player above little league ...
April 21, 2015
Would not use it for any player above little league age. Ball pops out of stike zone target on faster pitches, making it difficult to tell if it was a strike or not. Also, strike zone attachment is larger than an actual stike zone. A plastic corner piece cracked off on first use.
bad product, great service, Amazon!
July 18, 2014
arrived with one broken piece. the corner fittings were too small for the male pieces to go into them. Once in, one split, and I was totally unable to get the other back out, rendering it impossible to disassemble for transportation.Total fail. The good news is, Amazon did a great job of returning...I informed them I wanted an RMA, got the info, and was *immediately* credited for the purchase.
