Working well, would buy this again
February 18, 2017
This is a solid product. I had a different set of laundry sorters that used velcro and they did not hold up well. This set has solid metal bars that hang over the top so the bags don't fall when full. One negative was that the frame was slightly lopsided (like a wobbly restaurant table) but once I put on the wheels it was better and once the unit was weighted with some laundry, there was no problem. Love this product.
Hamper of a laundry procrastinator's dreams
October 21, 2016
How much can a person REALLY love a laundry hamper? Well, this girl really loves THIS laundry hamper. It makes my least favorite chore a lot easier. It is very sturdy, sorts my stuff, the removable bags are super handy, the wheels roll great and it holds a lot! A full basket can hold 2 loads (per bag) for my front load washing machine. Makes it nice so when I neglect laundry til a day of "oh no! There's no more clean clothes. Guess I will wash them ALL now", I can just bring my bags or wheel the whole thing to my laundry room. I don't end up with clothes all over the floor cuz I ran out of hamper space. Sure, I should prolly step up my laundry game eventually. But for now, this is the hamper of a laundry procrastinator's dreams.
Its held up great! The canvas bags are extremely sturdy
August 28, 2016
I've been using this laundry sorter for almost 2 years now. Its held up great! The canvas bags are extremely sturdy, even with my teenager stuffing all his clothes in them. He's been the main user so it has not been handled with care. The bags have retained their shape even after heavy use. The cart is extremely lightweight and easy to push. The caster wheels spin 360 degrees so its easy to push wherever you need it and they glide across carpet with ease. So its not awkward or difficult to move around.

When I first ordered this, I didn't assemble it immediately, probably about 90 days after it arrived (well after the return by date). Once I started assembling it, one of the holes the caster wheel was supposed to attach to was too small, so the caster would not fit. I emailed Whitmor's customer service and they immediately shipped a replacement part. Excellent customer service. Replacement part worked perfect. I would definitely recommend this laundry cart. It does not take up a lot of room but you can get a lot of clothes in the bags.
Good quality, very sturdy!
May 10, 2016
This is well built and sturdy. I love it. It rolls easily and was fairly simple to put together. We think it is well worth the price and it looks like it will last a long time.

The bags come off and are washable. The bent bars they hang on slide back and forth on the cart frame if you need them to. But they also have a rubber coating on the tips to keep them from rubbing the cross bars. The bags are roomy and easily hold a couple of loads of laundry in each one, depending on what type of clothing you are putting in them.

It is large...a few inches too long for the place I want to put it, but I can easily roll it out of the way or even from room to room. Using this to sort my laundry is much better than having to dig into one hamper for a load.

I highly recommend this and do not see needing to replace it for a long time...if ever.
I'd give one to EVERY family if I could! The time it saves is INVALUABLE! A well made, affordable POWERHORSE HELPER!

Easy to assemble, great to sort. This is a terrific product, and as a couple this works PERFECTLY for making laundry day 100 X simpler, by having everything sorted:whites, colors, darks, delicates & special care. When we had a houseful of kids, (8)we'd have purchased SEVERAL!:) As 2 adults know to turn clothes to correct side, pretreat any stains, etc. so we LOVE how we can lift the handled bags out ,and pour into our washer! We have a daughter having twins soon and we are about to order 1 for each baby. These will help she and her hubby tremendously! Our laundry room is a level down, so we even fold and carry the laundered things back UP to our dressing room ( an extra bedroom we decided to make one large "closet") Don't misunderstand me when I say we'd need more if the kids were still home. The bags are a sturdy, starched linen and quite strong. The sheer number of jeans and sweaters, myriad of colors and fabrics teens wear would warrant several carts! The chrome handles are a perfect touch to a great product. I tell everyone how useful it is! Highly recommended; just KNOW how many you'll need based on your family size and tastes in clothing!

Perfect space saver easy to install
March 21, 2017
Got this for brooms etc to store in my laundry room. Needed to save some space once we got larger washer and dryers. This was easy to put up, my hubby was done in about 15min. We had all our parts You have to stack things correctly so your broom and mop bottoms don't interfere with each other. You need a little muscle to push the broom in, but it means that it does not move. No sliding or slipping. My mom doesn't like that she has to snap it in there that hard (she is older) but it does not bother us. I either alternate- some up some down- or you have to alternate the heights. The hooks are ok, but the way we have them its hard to hook things (or dryer blocks it) so we use them to hook our Swiffer because it has a curved handle.
Why didn't I buy this sooner?
April 8, 2015
I have a small apartment and the broom closet was always a mess with the brooms hitting me in the face whenever I took the trash out. This saved me so much stress! The slots have little rollers and they move to fit just about any size mop or broom. There are also little hooks that can drop down if you want to hold towels or the dust pan, which is what I use it for. This is a must-have organizational tool!
Not Only For Brooms & Mops!!!
March 13, 2015
Used it to mount my lightsabers and it worked perfectly
Perfect
May 16, 2014
The picture is accurate. You can easily hold 5 items that have a long handle (thing a mop or broom) if you do what the picture says (some items have the handle pointing up, others need to go the opposite direction). The unit itself is made of plastic and is not particularly heavy. However, it comes with 6 mounting screws as well as the drywall plastic thing (meaning you don't have to mount it into a stud). For mine, four of my screws were used with the drywall thing while I coincidentally hit a stud for the other two (the screws go in pairs one over top of the other). It took me 10 minutes to install. I drilled pilot holes so as not to mess up my drywall. This product is as advertised.
Finally....my laundry room is organized!!!
December 16, 2013
Finally, my brooms, mops, dust pan, and swiffer are organized!Appearance:-The color is a bit drab - between a biege and a grey, but it looks just fine.Quality:-The product is a very solid plastic which should hold up for many years.-It included 2 extra rubber replacement pieces for the holders in case they wear out (which I doubt will happen before we end up losing them).Installation:-There are 3 screw holes.-The package includes the screws and drywall mounts.-Make sure you mount it right sided up or else it won't hold the mops and brooms.-Using a level to make sure it's straight is probably good, but not necessary.-Takes about 10 mins to install.Use:-I was able to hang a swiffer broom, a regular broom, and two mops on the holder without any issue.-There are 2 hooks which pull out from the front. I hung a dust pan and broom on those hooks. This product works great to store mops and brooms. I would recommend it.
Works great!

First time I have had our brooms & mops organized for years. Much better that others I have tried. Was impressed with the quality of the product.

Love it but...
July 25, 2017
I really enjoy having the four compartments. That's all I ever need. The bags hold just the right amount for a load. It's great having them on wheels too!
The only thing I would suggest is a shelf or something under the bags. It would help stabilize the wobbliness of the cart which happens sometimes as well as keep the bags from dragging. It would also serve to deflect heat out to the room when the sorter has to sit over an air vent.
Seems very sturdy
April 14, 2016
This is the second Whitmor laundry sorter that I have purchased. The first one I purchased maybe 5 or 6 years ago. It had ivory bags and I believe the finish is a bronze rubbed finish. I wanted one to match but I could not find any in the same color.

This item was very easy to put together. Took maybe 10 minutes at the most. The hardest part actually was getting the rods through the tabs on the laundry bags. The caps on the hook ends since they are rubber did not slide through the material smoothly but you need the rubber on the ends so that the rods won't slide all over when they are hanging. I noticed that the rods on this one have extra bends by the hook ends, whereas my other sorter has the curve for the hook then the rod is straight until the handle area. I think that the extra bends on the rod also contribute to making it a bit harder to put the bags on the rods. I took off one star because I do not like how these rods are compared to the rods for my other sorter.

Some other comments said that the bags were thin, cheaply made and fall apart. The bags I received seem to be a good quality. The frame of the sorter seems to be very sturdy just like my other sorter so I don't think I will have any problems with the frame falling apart like some of the other reviewers said theirs did.
Doesn't match Whitmor Commercial Hamper
August 14, 2015
Very sturdy, each bag holds about a load of clothes.

To make it sturdy and straight, loosely attach all bars together and don't fully tighten all bolts until all metal braces are together.

If you decide to buy the Whitmor Commercial Hamper with this, the white bags from this do not match the commercial hamper. If you're really picky, it will bother you, like it does me. Considering they're the same brand, you would assume they would look almost exactly the same.

Other points to consider, only two wheels lock, so it still moves as it's somewhat light. The metal bag hooks come off the rack kind of easy. It would be somewhat better if there was an option to lock them to the rack. Then if you decide to take the individual bags to the washer, the metal bag arms slide all over, they didn't fall out, but considering they easily move, watch out to not dent or scratch your washer.

All in all, good buy on it's own.
Seems to do the job
March 1, 2014
Got home and my husband had it assembled. The bags are slightly smaller than I had thought, but were also slightly wider than I had assumed so it worked out. It feels sturdy and is level. Already have clothes in it and it holds them fine. I have a 2 year old that likes to walk up and try to shake it and it seems to hold his weight and "abuse" fairly well. The wheels feel strong and sturdy as well and roll pretty easily even over our carpet.

Time will tell but with our laundry output (fairly high and heavy loads) I can definitely see this lasting a year or more (which for me is fantastic because I am constantly breaking the handles on those plastic totes within a month or two). Now if this were at my moms house who does laundry multiple times a week and has much smaller loads than me, this could probably last her a good 5 years or so easy.

I will admit, with no prior usage of a laundry sorter, this definitely seems better quality than the one my sister has (she uses hers to sort out clean recycling).

UPDATE: So it's been close to a year and I still use this thing religiously. I have had to occasionally tighten the screws on it (maybe twice) when it starts to lean to either side, however once tightened its good to go! I have abused this thing to no end. Having 3 boys and a husband who is a mechanic (lots of dirty clothes!) this thing has seen it all and it still functions just as well as the day we bought it. Very happy with this purchase and IF this thing finally decides to give up on me I would without hesitation purchase another one.
Dimensions are wrong
July 4, 2013
The description says that it's 15.5 inches wide. When I purchased, it was 20 inches wide (and it said so on the box). Other than that, it seems very sturdy and was easy to put together.

Sturdy little kitchen supply holder
October 16, 2017
I bought this kit to use on the back of my pantry door to hold mops, brooms, and other cleaning supplies. It came as pictures but was a little more cream colored than white, which I was ok with since it is not like I am using it as decor. The only thing I really didn't like was the screws that came with it to mount. They were so large, if I used them they would have went straight through the door to the other side. I get needing bigger screws to keep it up, but that length just seemed unnecessary especially since most people I know that have these have them mounted to the inside of a door.Overall I am pleased, even if I'm not able to use all pieces that came along with my purchase.
It's a good quality product and does what it is supposed to
February 5, 2017
It's a good quality product and does what it is supposed to. The grips are very strong, so the tools do not move (almost too strong). However I find the grips are not spaced quite far enough apart for my liking. In the mfg photo, spacing appears fine with mops & brooms positioned upright and downward to fit them side-by-side, but in reality mine appear much more crammed together, so much so, they are difficult to get in & out of the organizer, particularly because it does grip so well. It's ok for me and likely as good, possibly better than other organizers out there, but if you have the space I'd recommend 2 placed side-by-side so you have the option to skip a gripper, if need be, for bigger or more awkwardly shaped cleaning tools. I should have done this from the get go, but don't quite love it enough to spend another $15. Thirty bucks to organize my brooms and mops is more than I want to spend, particularly when I only have 5 tools.
Great Organizer
February 5, 2017
This product is sturdy and easy to install. It is has a more attractive and functional design than any of the mop/broom holders that I researched. I love the extra hooks that are on the front of the holder. It is a perfect place to store my umbrella, gloves and hats.I am very happy with this purchase, It is a great design that holds the brooms and dusters neatly and securely. My mop has a curved handle so it won't lay flat against the wall. This is not a design flaw, just something to think about when purchasing this item.
Hangs on tight!
January 14, 2017
Have only had it a few weeks but so far so good. It seems sturdy. Make sure you find studs in your wall and/or use the drywall anchors wen hanging this product, as the force needed to remove an item (broom, mop etc) is significant and it its not secured to the wall properly you could easily pull it right off. I gave it four stars because its not the easiest to get a broom or mop handle into. You have to be at just the right angle to get the wheel to retract and accept the handle. Time will tell if this product holds up and I'll update in the future if needed.
A good idea, it helps organize things and get them off the floor...
December 8, 2016
The wall mounted holder works well, nothing slides down (so far) and the storage seems secure. My only suggestion to make this a 5-star product would be to have a small tab to push up the spring mounted arms that hold your items in place. I don't have an issue loading or unloading a handle, but my Wife does. She complains that the springs are too strong (but they need to be). She can get things out of the organizer but leaves me to put them back :) . Rather than use the supplied hardware I used wallboard anchors that are a bit more substantial. With six of these holding up the Mop and Broom holder, it's not going anywhere. We purchased two organizers: one to mount one behind the door to the laundry/mud room for mops, booms, a hardwood floor sweeper and a yard stick. The second will go in my garage to store a broom, scrub brush, paint roller handles and a push-broom. It's difficult to see it on the product photos on Amazon but there are also six flip down hooks, they aren't heavy duty but rather a nice place to hang light-weight items. If you are looking for a way to get similar items off your floors and out of corners, this has item has met my expectations and then some.
Buy an extension for your drill bit, holes deeply in set
August 9, 2014
Fits perfectly in the five inch space between the fridge and the wall. In the absence of a broom closet, this is quite the space saver. Good for smaller homes/spaces where having a closet is both impractical and impossible. The screw holes are deep set, so you will need an extension on your drill to get this baby into the wall, but once its in, it isn't going anywhere! I had no difficulty getting it to catch hold of my brooms, and the provided hooks can be moved up and out of the way, or down for use-mine were used for the dustpan and as a hook for a duster.Update 3/14/17: We have since moved, and had to purchase another one for the house we are now in. I am still satisfied with this product. The design does appear to be a little different (not as easy to get the broom in), but the product still works well.I wanted to point something out-while there are SIX holes for the screws, I have only ever mounted this using the screws on either end. The allowed space in the middle is over-engineering, honestly, and makes it much more difficult to evenly space the screws/wall mounts. I have this loaded at the moment (as I did the previous one), and its holding fine. Please note that there will be room for many tools if you stagger them by height. This does require some strategy and precision since the slots are spaced so closely together, but if you are truly lacking space as we have been, this product is ideal.

Seems sturdy but cosmetically not great
August 1, 2017
Assembly is a little tricky with just one person until everything is all lined up. Seems sturdy but cosmetically not great. One bar was heavily dented... quite a few scratches and that was all straight out of the box. The bags seem a little smaller then my old one I had (different brand) because of the angle lose space. Overall decent for price and will serve its purpose.
Rickety and falls apart
November 27, 2015
I love the product concept, but the quality is crap. I bought 4 of these carts, one for each kids room. I (I mean my wife) loves that the kids can separate their clothes themselves. Makes it easier for my wife to wash them. She can just grab one of the bags and throw it in the was, bag included. Very nice. But once you load the bags up and try to push them across the house they get rickety and fall apart. The round threaded piece inside each of the cross tubes pulls out. You really can't put it back together and have it hold. All 4 of these carts I bought fell apart.
So why did I give it 3 stars? Well like I said I loved the concept, so I figured out a way to put them back together but stronger. I removed the 8 bolts and the 8 round threaded pieces that hold the cross tubes on to the sides. At first I bought some 1/4" -20 all thread rods 3' long and tried to use those by threading them through the round threaded pieces in the tubes, but the cart was still rickety. So I went up to 5/16" -18 all threaded and discarded the round threaded pieces and the bolts. I had to drill out the holes in the side pieces so the bigger all thread would pass through. I bought 8 3/8" x 3/4" rubber bushings, 16 5/16" thick flat washers, & 8 5/16" lock nuts. I put a rubber bushing in each end of all 4 tubes. Then slipped the all thread through each one. Then I put a flat washer on the end of each tube and attached both cart end pieces onto the all thread. Then I put a flat washer and lock nut on the outside of each cart side. I tightened down the nuts on both sides until the cart sides metal started to crush a little bit. Then I cut off the excess all thread on each side with a hack saw.
Now all 4 of my carts are solid and can handle the weight and will never fall apart again. They should have come this way to start with. It cost me about $25 per cart to do this, but the final product was worth it.
I think this is going to work for us, but one major issue with a canvas bag.
August 19, 2015
I have attached a video review of the whitmore 4 section laundry sorter.

Pros:
- I was able to put this together in a reasonable amount of time without my husband. As stated in the instructions it took less than 30 minutes.
- All the parts were packaged well and easy to identify.
- It seems to be made of decent materials.
- The instructions were straight forward. There is a 800# for assistance business hours Monday- Friday. Of course, the first bag I put together was the one that will not stay on the horizontal bar. So I thought something was wrong. I wasted time looking for another way to hook it up.
- The bags are a decent size. One bag holds "at least" 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 7 wash cloths. I could get 2 more bath towels in it.

Cons:
- One of the laundry bags will not stay on the horizontal bar. You can see this in the video clearly. My husband will probably do something to make it work. I haven't tried anything yet.
- Because of the issue I am having with the bag I should paid less than $25 :-).
I do really like this even though I have not used if on a laundry day. But, I cannot over look the issue with the bag that won't stay up for the purpose of the review. I am going to give this a 3 for now. I may change the rating later.
Nice, but not durable.
August 15, 2014
This is the second time I've purchased this laundry sorter because I like the styling, although they don't seem to last as long as they should. The first one I had lasted about 4 years which is probably standard for regular use and wear and tear. I ordered a second to replace it and after setting it up it seemed more stable than the first which I was pleased with. Until I went to put laundry into the bags and one of the bags split wide open, right down the seam. I called Amazon who sent me a replacement, and this one had one of the tabs that holds the bags on the hands tear right up the seam. It does it's job but I'd like to have bags without holes/issues considering I don't overstuff or abuse them.
Bags are poor quality
February 22, 2014
The structural pieces of this sorter are really sturdy. It was easy to put together and rolls easily. My issue is that the white bags arrived filthy and stained. Amazon was great and issued me a partial refund immediately. I decided to put the bags through the wash to see if the stains would come out. I followed the care instructions exactly - though I assume they want you to 'drip dry' not 'dirp dry' (I'm surprised they don't proof read their care labels). The bags washed out totally clean... And the seams were totally unraveled, particularly the hanging tabs. I do not think they'll survive a second wash.

Holder Good. Hardware Terrible
September 19, 2017
Do NOT use the included hardware. My organizer stayed up for a few hours. The "drywall anchors" were so large, that to keep my organizer in the same place with real drywall anchors, I had to use ones that were very large and as a result, my screw heads are too large to get fully seated. It does seem very secure now, however. There is a lot of tension for pushing the broom handle in. Nothing seems likely to go anywhere.
Well Made but Slipping Can Occur
November 8, 2016
Ok holder, but some slipping can occur if you're not careful. Need to give a tug and keep the mop handle close to the back of the hanger to lock in place. Otherwise, may start to slide down very slowly and you will come back to find it on the ground. The hooks hold well for additional items.Just occurred to me while writing this - I wonder if the the balls that catch each pole were rough instead of smooth, they may grip better. Maybe some sanding would help. If they were only made of hard rubber instead of plastic!
Nice concept, but doesn't hold items very well
September 26, 2015
This product works okay for its advertised purpose. I liked the hooks that fold down to hold things that won't fit in the little roller holders. The main problem with this product is that the rotating rollers that are supposed to maintain tension on the broom, shovel, rake, etc. lose their tension and drop whatever it is that they are supposed to be holding. You either have to scoot the item all the way down so it's sitting against the top of the holder so it doesn't slide out, or you have to hang it by one of the hooks, because they slide down and fall out of the rollers after being in them for a couple minutes. I bought three of them, and I'm making them work, but all three of them have the same problem, so I think it's a general design flaw. The concept is good, but be prepared to have your stuff slide down and fall off.
It does the job, but could be better
July 13, 2015
This broom holder serves its use. The hooks and ball mechanism for the broom holder is cleaver. The problem I encountered is the holes for the screws are close to the same width all the way back, there's only a thin lip for which the screw head to be in contact with the plastic. I was attaching this to a wall where one set of screw holes was over a stud, while the others were not. In a pinch (moving and without my full set of supplies) I had to use a standard wood screw instead of a pan head screw for the holes going into the stud (screws provided wouldn't have been long enough to hit the stud). The first time I installed it the screw popped past the holder and had to be removed. This could be solved by making the opening for the screws to exit smaller (one of mine was actually similar to this) or otherwise re-engineering the hole so it's less oblong. Then again, if you're only going into drywall at all six holes you may not have an issue.
Works ok, could use a little work
April 29, 2015
This is a good idea, and for the most art could work well. With in the first two weeks everything worked well, and as expected. On week three is when things turned bad. On week three, the hook on the front snapped off for one of the holders. The next week the balls in the same slot that the hook snapped off of fell out. I just use the space for a large handled thing, so friction holds it. I haven't replaced it, but I am thinking about it. I got two at the time I ordered mine, so I will use another one because I am not sure if it is hard use, or if it was something wrong with the system. I will find out after using the next one. If you are mounting to brick, block, or cement walls like I was, I used 3/8x4 tapcons to mount it, and saved the mounting hardware. The hardware sent in the box is good for mounting to drywall like in most new homes. This does not, and will not mount well to lath and plaster. If you are mounting to lath and plaster, make sure to use a flang boalt, one that has an anker with wings, better known as a togal bolt. Make sure you use every hole they provide, or it will fall down for sure off a lath and plaster wall.
A headache to install single-handed but, in the end, serviceable.
April 9, 2015
A tough install having to do it by myself. If you don't have a second pair of hands to help, wait for a very calm and relaxing day to attempt the install (and make a template for the holes); otherwise, prepare to go bald pulling your hair out if you care about the holder being mounted level. Once the thing is up, be prepared for bulk shock -- it looks pretty bulky on the wall. Next, find some heavy duty rubber bands (the kind you find on a bunch of celery in the produce section work fine) because, unless your brooms and mops are truly lightweights, the handle, regardless of diameter, will most definitely slip through the so-called grips. Just wrap a heavy-duty rubber band around the handle at the level you want it to hang -- the extra bulk of the band will prevent it from slipping through the grips. But, once you overcome the installation chore and bulk shock and have remedied the slipping, the darned thing works pretty well.

Poor quality screws and annoying design
June 12, 2017
I've had this sorter for almost 4 years now. almost every week I have to tighten the screws. I have kept the tools it came with in a bag tied to this sorter. Now have to replace because one screw is stripped and I cannot tighten it anymore.
I also found the high/low bag placement annoying as I frequently put the bags back backwards.

June 13, 2016
Just assembled it and added dirty laundry. One of the "canvas" bags has already split at the seam. When I read other reviews on the construction of the verticals, I thought they had assembled it wrong. When I saw the split in the canvas I knew this was a piece of sh*** yet pretty expensive thing I had bought. I would never buy this product if I were you. although it seems to be sturdy, please BEWARE...
Looks better than it actually is
August 26, 2015
Looks better than it actually is... wobbles and tips constantly no matter how tight you get the screws. It really is not sturdy at all. The bags are cheaply sewn and will rip at the seams, so don't bother trying to wash them as they will only fall apart faster. This thing lasted me just over a year before it finally fell apart when I simply rolled it over the rug on the way to the laundry room. Would not recommend or buy again.
Good Frame ... Needs Better Bags
December 26, 2013
I purchased this to replace an older 3 bag Laundry Sorter that had a frame that was starting to fall apart after many years of hard use.

I was pleased with the way frame went together, its was nice and durable and holds up well even with a full load of laundry in each bag ... but one should exercise caution when tightening the bolts ... it is easy to get a little over zealous and cross thread (strip) the bolt or the insert inside the tube. If you are concerned with the bolt coming out over time ... use a little blue Loctite to hold them in place (which is what I do).

The wheels were a little troublesome to install with the provided tool ... I ended up having to use a actual wrench from my tool kit ... but once installed the wheels move easily over carpet and bare floors ... even with a full load of laundry in each bag.

As other reviewers have pointed out ... the Bags themselves do leave a lot to be desired. The fabric that they are made out of is quite thin and the stitching around the bottom and the openings for the support bars is moderate to poor quality. After a few washes ... the stitching on the bottom of one of the bags tore and the fabric frayed so badly that it was not worth trying to repair (fortunately I kept my bags from my old sorter which have held up quite well over the years and they luckily fit this new unit).

All in all ... it is a okay unit. The frame is sturdy and wheels work well even over thick carpet (even when fully loaded) ... BUT ... the bags are the weak point of this unit ... I would not expect them to hold up over time.

If you are savvy with a needle and thread ... I would either make better bags or reinforce the stitching along the bottom and loops so they don't fray ... which is what I did after the first bag failed (so far it has held up ... but time will tell).

Would I buy this unit again ... No ...
Would I recommend this to a friend ... No ... not until they supplied more rugged bags with this unit.
Dimensions Are Wrong - Much Larger than Advertised
March 23, 2013
I was looking for a well built laundry sorter that would slide between our washing machine and dryer. We just completed remodeling the laundry room and was looking for a laundry sorter with wheels and that was less than 18 inches wide (to fit between the machines). The advertised dimension on the Amazon site says: "32.5 x 33 x 15.5 inches". This looked like a perfect fit for our needs.

When it arrived, the box says it actually is "20X36X33" inches, which is way different than what amazon.com said. Not sure why amazon got the dimension so wrong when it is clearly on the outside of the box. We put it together anyways to make sure it would not fit before sending it back, and sure enough, this is a very large laundry sorter. I would say it is closer to 19 1/2 inches wide. Again, our max is 18 inches wide.

We are sending it back because it it too big, but are disappointing because it seemed like a well built unit. Nice wheels and bags. It is also very large so if you are looking for a larger unit, this might be it for you. A lot of reviewers mentioned the screws coming out. We were going to use Loctite (a threadlocker) on the screws to prevent them from coming out and advise anyone to do the same if you are concerned with this issue. Really a simple fix.

Gave it 2 stars. 4 stars for the product but took off two stars for amazon getting the dimensions wrong.

Heavy spring catch
October 21, 2016
This is my 2nd order for this item. I can't believe how different it is from the first one. The 2nd one has tight springs in it which make it hard to hang anything as well as remove. The 1st one I bought the holders are loose but as soon as you place a broom stick in it it automatically grabs. I'm disappointed in my 2nd buy. I have no idea why the manufacturer would change the design because it worked so well without the heavy spring action.
The best way is to slide the handle down and hope ...
January 17, 2016
I only kept this to avoid returning as we all know that is a hassle. This item really does not work as well as others. Yes this has the "balls" that are suppose to fit to any handle, unfortunately they do not. The balls are not tight and there is a sizable gap between the ball and the edge. I could only use my thick handles with this product. The best way is to slide the handle down and hope it catches on the ball and rubber track. all my smaller handles fell out. If you wrap duct tape around the smaller handles to make the circumference bigger, they will catch better. I cannot recommend this product.
Very Disapointing
October 12, 2015
Just okay, and barely rates an okay. The 7lb rated holding capacity is a joke. Even with a very light broom it slides down until it comes in contact with the handle or something else to stop it from slipping. Have tried many different things and it just holds okay no matter what. We only needed it to hold a couple of things and put them in so that when the end of the brooms rests on top of the part that's supposed to hold it and it can't slide. If you try to use this to hold something by the handle like it shows in the picture, it won't work, at least the one we have won't.
Not Heavy Duty, Cheaply Made
August 2, 2015
Im not sure this product deserves the high marks. Its very "plastic" and the weight limit is rather low (I believe 7.5lbs?). This means things will slide down, and it didn't adequately hold my Libman push broom. Its mostly plastic, and the friction-holding wheel and pad aren't very strong. This wasn't what I was expecting for a garage. Maybe ok for a Swiffer and light-weight broom. Anything more serious, look elsewhere.Big gripe: the plastic screw holes aren't very robust. Be careful not to over-tighten the screws, or you'll blow right through the plastic (easily). I accidentally did this on the middle holes, not the outer ones. Big bummer. Wasn't hard to do.I would return this, but its hard to do so once you've tried it out by hanging it on the wall. Not really what I was hoping for.
No instructions! Poor design
March 31, 2015
I chose this product among the many options for wall organizers in part because I loved that there were hooks as well. When I received it, I was excited to mount it and start getting some use out of it. There were no instructions included, but I was able to figure it out. Took more time than it would have if there were instructions included!Once I installed it in the garage, I loaded it up with all my gardening tools and brooms. I walked away happy to go make some dinner. As I was chopping up ingredients for my famous salsa, I heard a loud sound in the garage that made my poor cat jump in the air. I walk back into the garage to see that my broom and mop have fallen off the organizer and knocked over my little recycling bin in the process. So much for de-cluttering and organizing! I wouldn't recommend this product.
Good looking, bad design
March 29, 2015
I think it is fragile to use. You must use care to place a standard broom or mop handle in any slot The latching mechanism is loose, by design. I bought 2 of these, and since I'm committed, I'm glad I did. Having 2 of these was the only way: 2 standard mops, 1 broom, 2 swifters, and a metal dust pan could co-reside usefully. It is not easy to install, especially since no instructions came with it. A drill pattern would have been nice since you are placing 6 screws into your wall. And maybe guidance on the drill bit size? And if using an electric screw driver, be sure it has a long attachment. I'm pretty sure the hooks will not last all that long; flimsy. I'm sprucing up the house to sell it. I hope these last a few months.

Actually Made Putting Laundry Away Fun! - except now it fell into pieces....
September 17, 2016
I hate laundry. I hate putting it away. It is my least favorite thing to do. I love this organizer and I am actually looking forward to putting laundry away. I keep it by the dryer and when I take the clothes out I put each person's laundry in their bin. I put letter stickers on each bag for everyone in the family. Then I easily push it to the room and quickly put things away in drawers. I can't believe how much faster and easier it makes the whole process. I was thinking about getting one with the shirt hanger but am glad I decided on this one because I can hang my husbands work shirts up on the side. Still in shock how much I love this system. It might actually help me keep all the laundry put away and keep up with laundry!
- Update so sad considering how much I LOVED it. It just completely fell apart. Wish I read the one star reveiws before I bought it. I'll look for the same concept but better quality
Nope.
July 11, 2016
This product started falling apart on me a few months ago. At first I just had to tighten it up because it kept getting loose and sagging. Then the inner part of the poles where the screws go into came apart. My husband and I are duct taping it as I type this. I want to return it or get a refund but it's not worth taking apart and shipping back.... Also the wheels are not made for anything other than hardwood floors. Everyone I tried to move it over the carpet in our room it would come apart.
HORRIBLE- falls apart in several months. Longest one lasted me about a year!
June 29, 2015
11/27/2016 Update: HORRIBLE build, HORRIBLE quality, HORRIBLE manufacturing! I have gone through at least 3 of these sorters. They get weak and collapse, they need more support rails under the bags, it's completely open- and no, they were never overstuffed. We are a family of 3 and I do laundry twice a week. Because of the poor design there is no way to repair them! Very frustrated with this purchase, stay away- #NEVERAGAIN!!

I purchased 2 of these in April 2015. One has been perfect, no issues. Unfortunately, the 2nd one (of course it's mine and hubby's) fell apart on me towards the end of June 2015. As I was rolling it from our closet to the laundery room, I almost stumbled over top of it when all 4 horizontal bars fell apart all at the same time. Would have loved being a fly on the wall, I'm sure it would have been a good chuckle! LOL. I called Amazon, and I would have to say they gave me the best customer service ever...they are sending me a replacement- so I'm very happy! LOVE LOVE LOVE this sorter...perfect for my little family of 3!! Thank you Amazon for making it right...cannot wait to get my replacement on July 1st!! I gave this product 5 starts even though we had problems with one of them because 1. It's a manufacturing issue (the horizontal bars are press fit, and that was what came apart) and number 2. Amazon made it right. Thanks again and again!
Poor Construction/Do Not Buy
January 30, 2015
Huge waste of money! If you are hoping to use this to transport laundry from one end of the house to another, or in my case across the parking lot to the laundry facility than do not buy this. I specifically bought this to use as an easier way to transport my laundry and after the very first time of doing so the frame started to lean heavily to the side. The wheels work great however due to the poor construction the frame will start to lean heavily to one side if used to transport laundry anywhere. The lengthwise bars are attached to the upright frames by screwing screws into washers that fit into the bars. However, with any kind of weight or movement to the frame these washers can shift or tilt within the bars which will then cause the whole frame to lean to one side making it hard to move. I wish I had known this prior to buying because had I known I never would have purchased this time.
fell apart after 1 month + a few days
April 22, 2014
I absolutely loved this laundry sorter until it completely fell apart last night as I was pushing it down the hallway of our apartment building. The pipes come with circular disks at the end to screw into. When it fell apart, the circular disks fell out of the piping. The ends of the pipes were bent it, I'm assuming to keep with disks in there, which means we can't get the disks back in the piping to repair. I missed the return period by one week, so am left with a heap of metal. This would take a considerable amount of time to repair. I strongly recommend searching for another brand.

Useless, and going in trash
June 6, 2017
Total Junk. Mounting holes are 11 inches apart--meaning that you can attach this to studs. You'll have to drill into wallboard and use the cheap plastic inserts provided. Those plastic inserts always fail as soon as you put any weight on them. Useless, and going in trash; I will get something more serious.
Poor quality product, one of the holder has busted spring.
November 27, 2016
The product arrived well ahead of time. I opened the box and the installation was a breeze. I started putting each of the broom on the holder. One of the holder spring is busted and won't hold it. The product is poor quality. Now I have already installed it and don't have patience to uninstall and send it for return. If the seller is interested and sends me a good quality one later then I can take the pain to uninstall and reinstall and send the busted product to seller for reviewing its quality and also may consider increasing the product rating.
This sucks
July 18, 2016
Wow! What a peice of crap. The screw heads are incredible small to fit deep inside the part, then are so small that they screw right through the back of the plastic mount. The included wall anchors spun in the holes. We got some great wall anchors, but without an extra 2" screw length to pentrate the plastic and then active the wall anchor, this was a bust as well.Get something better. Oh, and the brooms fall right through to the ground anyway.
Garbage
April 5, 2016
Comes with zero instructions for mounting (not that it is rocket science) but some assurance that it is at least oriented correctly would be nice.Does not hold even the lightest of brooms - when I tried to put a "corn broom" (http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-638300-BLUE-DM-RCP6383/dp/B00P1P14IQ?ie=UTF8&keywords=corn%20broom%20rubbermaid&qid=1459884286&ref_=sr_1_11&sr=8-11) into the holder it slid all the way to the bottom. I tried with another plastic angled broom (http://www.amazon.com/LIBMAN-CO-00201-Libman-Precision/dp/B001AKT7V2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1459884172&sr=8-6&keywords=angle+broom) and it too slid to the bottom without holding it off the floor, which is the whole point of this item.Space between "holders" is too close to use more than every other one - one broom (the lightest one I had that actually stayed in place) plus a dustpan blocked all of the other slots for tools.
Wouldn't hold a toothbrush, much less a broom
January 30, 2016
This thing is a joke. I hung a lightweight broom, a floor mop, and a ceiling fan duster--and the next thing I knew all of them were touching the floor. They were still in the holders, so I readjusted them and then watched as each one slowwwwly slipped down the wall again until it touched the floor. There is absolutely no gripping power. The S.O. is going to make a rack for me using grippers that he buys at Tractor Supply, and then this useless thing is going into the rubbish. Bah.
Don't waste your time.
December 7, 2015
This is a lesson on trusting a product with PAID reviews. This product does not work. If you have any items with smooth PAINTED metal handles, it WILL NOT hold them in place. They just slip down through the clasp. Of the five items I wanted it to hold, only the one with an unpainted aluminum handle would hold. I am just glad I tried it before I mounted it. Also of note, the clasps are entirely too close together. The photo they use to advertise the item is completely doctored. Point being, even if the clasps held the handles I would still be unhappy with the item. However, I will note the GREAT return policy Amazon has. This is one of the reasons they are one of my favorite places to search for products.
