PLENTY of bags that fit PLENTY of things. I moved and have limited storage. I always kept my winter/summer things in bins in the garage during the off seasons. So this year when I had to store my bulky winter stuff I figured I'd give this a go. The XL ones fit my duvet that I switch out in the summer. The L and M fit my sweaters and long sleeves. Another XL fit my skii'ing clothes and the suitcase ones fit my hats/gloves/scarves. Everything is organized, and I labeled them so easy to find when the time comes to unpack so I can do it in an order that works best for me. AND I still have SO much left over!!!! These bags are amazing. I wish I'd known about them years ago January 6, 2016 These bags are amazing. I wish I'd known about them years ago. We have always kept our clothes, shoes, Christmas decorations, blankets, everything n clear bins in our basement. After two floods in which everything was soaked and much was destroyed, we built shelves for the bins. We have not been able to keep moths, mold, and the basement smell completely out of the bins though. These bags do just that! They hold everything. They are roomy, shrink down to half their size when vacuumed, and fit neatly in the bins. I've been using these as gifts as well for new parents who will be storing clothes for their children, people going on vacation who might want to make room in their suitcases on their return, and friends who are planning on moving. They are very sturdy and can hold up to being stuffed to the max and dropped, as I have learned. I absolutely love these bags. I have my closet back! December 26, 2015 After using these I doubled my storage space! They're easy to use, and all of mine have held their seals for the few weeks it's been since I packed them. Everyone who talked about having bad seals said it was a matter of a day or two from sealing them and having them full of air, so I figure I'm in the clear. I highly recommend packing the larger ones standing up, rather than on their side- it's much easier to control. Some of the bags were going into storage bins, so I placed the bag in the bin before vacuuming out the air, and that worked nicely. It's nice to have our closets back and know that our clothes and cloth valuables are protected. We ended up getting 2 of these boxes, plus 2 boxes of the jumbo sized ones. We still have half a box of the variety left, and figure as we go through seasons changing (clothing, bedding) we'll have back ups for any bags that get damaged. I do recommend sorting out EVERYTHING to be bagged first. I made piles in the living room (bedding, summer clothes, slightly small clothes, slightly large clothes, etc.) and then decided what would go in what- then I made labels (used regular address labels, Word, and a printer) for each bag so my husband won't have to ask "which one" he needs. So glad I got these! Insane value! December 15, 2015 Amazing! My husband and I have a ton of sweatshirts and t-shirts that I want to eventually make into quilts. We are also overrun with bedding- in our house we have at least two bed sets for each of the following: a king size 16 inch foam mattress, a crib, two twin guest beds, and a potty training boy's twin bed and trundle. I was able to fit all the sweatshirts (about 30) in the large sized bag. In another large bag there are 72 t-shirts! In the extra large size, I was able to fit all (!) the extra bedding for the twin beds- 4 sets complete with comforters. Another extra large fit the extra crib bedding and the extra King bedding, since I change those beds out at the same time. I actually have extra bags. Insane. Buy these, you won't regret it. Plus, it's a heck of a lot cheaper for these than in the store. Good stuff! October 28, 2015 You really can't beat the price for this item. I use them for travel (try fitting a pillow in your baggage without one haha), storage (to keep my clothes from picking up dust and smells in my storage unit), space optimization in my small apartment (sheets, comforters) etc.I noticed that some of the travel bags do let some air back in, sometimes. I agree with other reviewers that the medium bags are kind of a waste, and I also noticed that these are not as large or tough as the original space bags from about 10 years ago, but again you can't beat the price on these. The medium bags do fit better in most storage tubs because they are more narrow. Instead of having a million bins of baby clothes, I sorted out my favorite items and was able to use different sized bags for each age group. (0-3mo, 12-18mo, 2t etc...). The seal ice and tight and then I stack them in the storage closet (the sturdy packaging also protects agaisnt funny basement smells et ..) this is a true way to stay organized and save space! Impressed July 28, 2015 I bought these bags because we are moving in a month and I wanted to start packing. I don't have the space to store tons of garbage bags full of comforters and other winter blankets. I have packed 2 queen sized comforters, 1 twin comforter, 2 full size pillows, 6 decorative pillows an 4 complete sets of bedding (sheets and pillow cases) into the 2 jumbo bags we purchased. Everything fit and I had no problems getting them closed. It's been about 2 weeks since I've sealed them and they have been moved from one room to another various times. They have had huge suitcases stacked on them (thanks to my boyfriend) and both of my corgis have run across and sniffed them multiple times. These bags are still as sealed and compact as the first day. I was so impressed I'm buying some of the smaller bags today to store all of our clothes. Space Bag Wins Giant Comforter Storage Challenge August 21, 2014 Here in S TX, the overnight temps begin dropping below 60º around October. This prompts my wife to bring out the "oversize, overweight, super-thick Arctic comforter from Hell." By May the cavernous summer lair of the comforter has been filled, leaving it not only homeless, but dangerously blocking our hallway. My threats to relegate the comforter to our storage shed (where the wild things are) were met with similarly sinister threats. As I contemplated all-out storage wars, the Space Bag Jumbo came to the rescue. Now harmony reigns in my household as the giant comforter lurks (maliciously, no doubt) in a fourth the space it previously occupied.It was easy to stuff and easy to connect to the vacuum to deflate. It seems, after about two months, to be holding its vacuum seal nicely. Now I wonder if a Super-jumbo Space Bag could be used to remove the hot air from certain bombastic public figures? We recently downsized and the bags make storing off season items a cinch!spacey Good bags for soft fabrics, be careful of anything sharp, even if it's covered. June 1, 2016 These work, but are incredibly fragile. the zipper on one of my jeans, that was folded in half, pierced a bag too easily. I wasn't impressed, but I know now to never do it again. This is more for soft fabrics, sheets and comforters. I haven't noticed a loss in air with these bags, and I've had a few from this set in the basement for the last two months.They work well, you just gotta be careful with them, don't throw them around or even stack them unless you're cautious. Baby Clothes Storage February 16, 2016 I was a little scared of the vacuum bags at first, but we needed to do something about the acres of baby clothes in our garage, so we purchased these to try. They really do reduce how much space items take up, and were very easy to use.Unfortunately, one of the bags ended up with a tear (not sure if it came to us that way, or if something happened while I was storing it), but it is now unusable.I will update if we have any issues with the bags holding their vacuum seals over time. Love them for storage and saving space! September 24, 2015 I'm torn with these. Overall I think they work great, hence the 4-star review.I recently moved from MA to NC and purchased these to help with packing up our clothes, blankets, pillows, etc. They are pretty amazing... it was actually fun to fill the bags and then see how squished the contents became as the air was sucked out. But from there they were just super awkward (and heavy!) to deal with for the actual move. The bundles end up in these awkward/inconsistent shaped... which is totally understandable since you have different things in each bag, but that then makes it a little difficult to transport. We ended up with seriously 30 of these oddly shaped bundles that we ended up tossing in the moving van, in the back of the car... kinda anywhere we could stick them. We had maybe 2 bags that lost the seal... other than that they worked fine.I will say we have quite a few bags with blankets and pillows that we still haven't unpacked... and they really are a huge space saver. I have 2 down comforters, several blankets and some pillows stored on the top shelf of a closet, in the same amount of space that one of the down comforters alone would take up. So for me, I give these 5-starts for use to store items and save space and 3-stars when using them for moving purposes, again just because for me they get heavy and awkward. Hold up well September 1, 2015 These are great for storing our clothes, but I'm a little disappointed with the size of the bags(mediums and large). They state such small amounts that can be held, and the medium and suitcase size are really both mediums. I didn't really listen to the guidelines (2 sweaters in a bag seemed a bit wasteful), and put in what I thought the bag could hold and it worked just fine for me. It was still able to make the seal and compress the clothes, and I was able to store more clothing without having to spend massive amounts of money on more and more bags. They seem like they will hold up to what I'm asking them to do and be able to be reused in the future. Worth the price, since I read reviews of cheaper brands that seemed like they couldn't hold up. These seem solid. I will update in the future if anything changes. Ziploc space storage bags... not a cheap knock off bag! September 1, 2015 The space saver bags do create a lot more storage room in your home with no attic or basement, Slides easily under the bed or a closet shelf and can be stacked. I put unused dryer sheets in the bags when closing them up. It doesn't leave that plastic or musty smell when you open the bags again. The price paid for these bags is reasonable because they are made of thicker plastic. I bought imitation brands that were cheaper and thinner and they ripped after a few uses. So it was no bargain... you get what you pay for!! Ziploc is a good investment, especially if you want a good product to save those items that you aren't using now, but don't want to give or throw away. I was impressed with the extra large bag... it fit my huge king size over stuffed comforter, bed skirt and 2 king size shams into an easy stored bag. July 12, 2016 I really didn't think these would work, but my mom wanted them, so I ordered them. She was able to stuff a HUGE comforter in one bag, and I was amazed at how small the bag became once all of the air was sucked out. These are really great for storage. We were still able to seal the bag by pressing on the seal with our fingers, like an old school zip lock bag. Bought several of these jumbo sized space bags for moving/storage. One star not given because of space bags inherent fragility- these bags have always and will always tear EXTREMELY easily. Their job is to vacuum seal and protect items inside but they DO NOT LIKE TO BE touched, drug, picked up, slid, tossed, thrown, or even carried when full. It's devastating when they tear just during normal filling or when carefully picking one up and placing it carefully in its place. It is more likely to occur but will occur without over-filling the bag. If I had any complaints, it would be that they're TOO big and I struggled to fill it completely. It was also super heavy because of how much stuff I was able to cram in there.But yes, it's a space bag. It's nice and thick. It isn't smelly/chemically. The seal is quite good. And it's cheap! It's holding my ENTIRE winter wardrobe RIGHT NOW! April 19, 2015 Great for sealing out dust and decreasing the amount of space that bulky items like bedding might otherwise consume, BUT 3 out of 4 bags did not hold the vacuum seal (see review picture). I suspect this may be partly due the slider not fully sealing the bag. It's best to hand press the entire seal bar after you zip it shut to ensure it's fully sealed, because the slider does not do the job.The other suspect vacuum seal leak is the cap, perhaps? I read other reviews about the bags tearing easily, so I was especially cautious and am quite certain none of the bags were torn in the loading process.Still, I like this product for the reason stated in the first sentence above. Will I purchase this product again? Sure, if I want to protect what I pack from dust and enable storage stacking, but if it's for vacuum sealing -- doubtful. Works pretty well March 14, 2012 This bag works pretty well, just make sure you keep your bedding or whatever, behind the line that indicates how full you can make it, otherwise it will inflate later. They really do constricted down to a nice, workable size. I put two thin comforters, 4 shams and 5 throw pillow in it and so far so good. I would recommend this product. Three Star Reviews: | 12% Best Brand of Vacuum Seal Bags, Pack Carefully May 26, 2017 These work really well as far as saving space goes, but they don't take much roughing up in a move and don't always seal as well as they should. Still, the Ziploc brand works better and lasts longer than cheaper brands of vacuum bags. Just don't overstuff them, double check your seals, and be careful what you pack next to them. You get a good number of bags in this pack April 26, 2017 You get a good number of bags in this pack. Some will hold up, others will lose their vacuum quality pretty quickly. Nothing in the pack holds up to long term storage. Gets the job done May 23, 2016 These were a god send when it came to traveling across the country however it was very annoying that they are so flimsy and basically a one use only. 2 bags broke open because we hadn't taken the tags off my son's new clothes he received for his second birthday. When we tried to reuse the bags 1 of them blew open and it wasn't even filled all the way full. If we travel across country again we will still order some of these however we'll order less and now we know what to expect. Does a good job just not a sturdy material. You have to buy more than you need to get what you need October 14, 2015 The concept is great. And the bags that work do as promised. The item did come on time. But the little plastic tabs come off of some of them and air leaks in, making it impossible to get a tight seal and rendering the bag useless. It is possible this was a result of stuffing a too large duvet into the Extra Large bags instead of using the Jumbo. It should be possible to buy the bags individually or in individual combinations to avoid this problem. I had about 6 or so left over mediums (I didn't find any smalls in my lot), and two larges left over, but needed more jumbos. So, I had to buy two more bags of two-each jumbos. I should have been able to buy the configuration I needed without having to overbuy. Holey bags. September 19, 2015 I purchased these bags because I needed to fit as much of my things as possible in my car for a cross-country move. The pack comes with a huge variety of bags and I was able to fit every piece of clothing I own (a full closet and 6 huge drawers) in the bags no problem. A vacuum helps, but I found that I was able to get each bag pretty compact by rolling/laying on it. Major downside: the plastic is cheeeeeeaaaaap. Seriously, if the bag comes into contact with anything remotely rugged or sharp (rocks, zippers etc) they rip and tear. By the end of my trip most bags had holes. Good Space Bags, but lower quality and smaller size than original. March 25, 2015 Good quality space bags, but the sizes are much smaller than the "Original Space Bags" that ZipLoc purchased. The Large has shrunk enough that it is more of a medium, for example. Within a day or so of removing the air from both bags, one remained flat, but the other expanded back to full size. I re-sealed the bag thinking I maybe had a leak in the zipper side and removed the air once more. The next day, same result. A year later, the second bag was still flat, but did have some extra air inside which I don't see as too much of an issue. I'd be happier if you got two working bags in a package of two instead of one for the price of two. I think quality control might be the problem. Works great, but is really fragile June 9, 2016 I love these big space bags, but they leak so easily! I had one start leaking and get stuck under my bed (I figured maybe the cat had accidentally caught it with a claw while playing under there), so I bought some more. I put my big fluffy comforter in, sealed it up, vacuumed the air out, and it was ready to store. I reached up to put it on a shelf and I guess it must have caught on something even though there was nothing sharp up there because air immediately started flooding in. I was able to find the hole and sort of fix it with some tape, but I hate that it was pretty much ruined as soon as I used it. The other one from the same box is holding up just fine, but I've been super-careful with it, which isn't really practical when you want to store things. Work well, but develop leaks over time. February 4, 2016 Bags definitely are a bit fragile. After 1-3 times of filling and using them they will develop leaks and not stay vacuum packed. I dont mind too much as my main concern is to keep my items dry and clean from dust and dirt which happens whether they are vacuum sealed or not. I will say that its incredible how vacuum sealing keeps things smelling fresh. January 16, 2016 Pros:- works well for comforters, sweaters and such- the stored items are protected from moisture, but not light damage - darker plastic would have been better- easy to useCons:- would not store my clothes in these, except for maybe a day or too - wrinkles are super deep and hard to get out- the bags are quite easy to open by accident- i would also be concerned about cats/dogs accidentally piecing through the plastic with their nails- quite expensive Not surprised, just disappointed. December 12, 2015 I have been considering buying some of these for literally years. The prices in stores always seemed ludicrous for what is in reality just a bunch of plastic bags so I always managed to walk away. However, our recent move into a house almost half the size of our previous one prompted me to finally give them a try. I'd put a number of items in clear plastic garbage bags and pressed the air out of them before storing them (Important: the more flexible kind as opposed to the ones that make a loud crinkling sound when handled!). In truth, the garbage bags were much more reliable. For me, these bags had around a 50% failure rate. Some reinflated almost immediately, others took longer. Two had small tears which I do not think I put in them as I handled them very carefully filling and suctioning the air out of them on a bed surface. And, yes, I tried several times to reseal the defective ones to no avail. I could have rated these 2 or 3 stars given the 50% failure rate, but the travel bags are of no use to me so I chose 2 stars. Puncture easily, but very handy to use! November 6, 2015 Short term, these are great!!! They greatly reduce the space needed to store bulky fabric items such as pillows, sweaters, winter coats, spare bedding, extra blankets, children's clothing, etc. I was thoroughly impressed!!!Long-term, the quality is not excellent and air leaks are highly likely to occur. Be VERY gentle with them after vacuum sealing or you will puncture them on accident. Would be great if every kit/box came with a puncture sealing kit like air mattresses do.One other con is that they don't fold all flat and perfect like in the picture. Even if you stuff them evenly, they're all bumpy/lumpy when sealed and, therefore, are not easily stackable and don't easily fit inside a bin or box for safer storage. I'm still trying to figure that dilemma out! If you have a good area of space to use, they do stack vertically pretty nicely though.I would buy these again, but I wish they weren't so expensive because they are easily damaged with holes and then are practically useless. Not great August 29, 2015 I have had Space Bag brand bags in the past and the air always came back into the bag within a few days or weeks. I was hoping they might be better now. They are not. Some of the bags are still holding air but others have puffed right back up. I am primarily using them to store baby clothes and I made sure not to overfill the bags and to check that the ziploc was sealed completely. Same Old Space Bag October 16, 2016 After a while the air seeps back into the bag, infl acting it thus making it hard to get to your items after you've placed them into narrow spots like under your bed or in a closet. Now I bought these in April, it is October, I went to retrieve my items only to find I had to suck the air back out in order to get the bag from under my bed... 6 months is about how long these things hold I guess... Huge and did not hold a vacuum seal May 19, 2016 First, the bags are ENORMOUS. I wanted these for baby clothes storage and did not visualize the dimensions well. yes, that's my fault. But, more troubling, was that the one bag i took out of the package and tried to use did not hold a vacuum seal. I didn't bother trying the other and returned them. I bought a different brand that offered about 10 bags for the same price. The other two bags worked great and as advertised tho March 29, 2016 I bought t this product twice. In total I received four bags of which 2 of them self re-inflated repeatedly. After repeated attempts checking the bags and making sure we were following the instructions properly, the problem still persisted. The other two bags worked great and as advertised tho. All in all, there is a 50:50 chance this product will/won't work. Given the cost, the fact that I was packing to travel in a couple days and was unable to pack all my clothes because of this issue, I was very unhappy with this defective product. Kept its seal for about two weeks. Last night ... March 10, 2016 Kept its seal for about two weeks. Last night when I tried to pull the bag out from under my bed to get something out of it it was full of air and stuck under the bed because it no longer fit. It took a while to get it out because the bag is so big. I'm going to try to reseal it this weekend. We'll see how it goes. Won't seal September 13, 2015 I got these to pack pillows and blankets in to move . although I purchased them a while go, I just started packing 09/10/15 andone of the bags won't seal and allows air back in overnight. One Star Reviews: | 11% Waste of money August 30, 2016 I bought these Zipoloc space bag vacuum seal bags for when my wife and I moved to save space. It worked when we packed everything in it and vacuumed out the air. The following day the air was back in 2 bags, then we noticed one had a little hole in which was allowing air back in. We didn't care much for these bags since they did not meet the purpose. Horrible Product. Save your money. March 15, 2016 Save your money. These bags are not holding the vacuum. After filling several of the bags with bedding and such I vacuumed them out and placed them in storage cabinets in the hall. Not long after I noticed that the cabinet doors were pushed open. Upon inspection I found that all of the bags no longer held vacuum. What a waste of money. But after using it I realized that the large bags don't hold the stuff that you put inside as good as the other brand February 25, 2016 I purchased this bags because i used another brand before and didn't pay much attention; they should all work the same. But after using it I realized that the large bags don't hold the stuff that you put inside as good as the other brand. They leak the air inside and don't work. I never write reviews but this was that bad, dont buy the large ones; the medium are ok. AVOID!!! DO NOT BUY November 29, 2015 I've moved around quite a bit... mostly from one coast to the other and every move I've always bought several different brands and for a good reason.This has to be the worst of them all.Not a single bag stayed vacuum sealed.Some already had leaks I couldn't fix with a tape because it was in the seam where no matter how I taped over it, it just wouldn't do.Poor construction!!!One even had that plastic round part that you put the vacuum hose onto detached to begin with. Terrible! November 9, 2015 These are terrible, most of them would not stay compressed for more than a few hours. Have used this brand in the past with great results, so I know its possible for space bags to be great but they clearly downgraded their materials recently. Do not buy these if you need them to actually work. Do NOT buy, cheap, flimsy and more October 7, 2015 Received yesterday, attempted to use this morning. Bags thin and flimsy; first large bag I used plastic completely ripped at the top underneath the seam. Valves have prongs on the inside; took six times on another bag to get clothing positioned right underneath so it wouldn't leak. Furthermore, medium vacuum bags will not hold number of items advertised, way too small. All in all, I should have passed based on other reviews but thought since it was Ziploc..... not. Their freezer bags are heavier then this stuff. | 20% Bags don't stay sealed September 25, 2017 The suction doesn't hold. The bag will shrink while I'm vacuuming it, but then a few minutes later, the bag is puffed up again. This isn't an issue of overfilling or improperly closing the bag - it just doesn't stay sealed. The product deflated September 11, 2016 The Ziplock spacebar served its purpose for only a short period of time. I vacuumed all the air out of the bag full of clothes I had no use for, for the season. I was more than happy with the results. What I didn't expect was that the air would come out. I put the bag under the bed in its shriink form. Two weeks later I went to take the bag from under the bed only to find the air had come out. I immediately got the vacuum cleaner to suck the air out again in only a few minutes the air had come out again. They don't work. August 28, 2016 The jumbo size ones just do not work. They leak. The large size and all the rest work just fine. I think the jumbo ones must spring leaks because the zipper part probably moves or gets bent. I have bought and rebought the big ones, but I just cannot get them to work. Darn! im not happy!!! May 14, 2016 The bag does not stay deflated and yes I've made sure it's zipped and no there aren't any holes. The bag is totaly inflated within 5-6 hours. I'm frustrated because i told others about the bags and i had to go back and recant. Unhappy, Brenda Fells These were great for about 12 hours August 13, 2015 These were great for about 12 hours, then they filled with air. I followed the instructions, made sure it wasn't over stuffed and nothing was beyond the line indicated, used my vacuum to suck all the air out, it was great, put these 2 bags in the closet, hours later they had started inflating again..didn't exactly save me any space. Returning, maybe replacing them to try again, I guess it's possible that 50% of their bags work and the rest fail, based on all the 5 star reviews. Will not purchase any more or recommend this item November 23, 2014 The bags accommodated the items well. After 3 days they leaked all of the air out. One actually had a large hole in it and the others just leaked.
