(I previously left an unsatisfactory review, but please ignore, I got my bags mixed up with those of a different manufacturer. )These bags are comparable to the well known brand bags that we use for sandwiches and things. Top notch! This package especially is so useful to me as I store my summer clothes, saving me much precious space. I feel confident that I can safely store my clothes in my damp basement, that's how thick they are! Anyone that has a Dyson knows that most of these bags don't work with the vac's attachments. These bags do work and they seem to be very durable. I use the round hose novel, place it over the valve and turn it on and it automatically seals a bit to the plastic of the bag and sucks all the air out. This is the storage solution that I've been needing and wanting. A great bag, and even better customer service. They strive to make sure you are happy October 12, 2015 I am writting this review after having my bags for around a month now. I must say that I am very pleased with the bags.My first round of bags were all great, except one had a slow leak in it, that allowed the bag to fill with air within about 10 days. I contacted the company, and they quickly replaced the damaged bag. The replacement set has done very well, and my bags are still as vacuum sealed as they were when I packaged them. Personally, I use these for bedding sets, pillows, and jackets. I store the bags in either rubbermaids, or what I have found works really well, are dry cleaning bags.The dry cleaning bag is thick enough to protect these from any splinters on the floor or anything else that could cause them to puncture. Great for travel March 12, 2016 Worked great for packing dress shirts and suit for roll-on bag. With these bags, it's easy to pack a suit folded up for your carry-on bag. There are several YouTube videos that show how to pack suits and dress shirts for wrinkle-free travel using sturdy zip-lock bags. The key to avoiding wrinkles is to properly fold and then separately pack your special garments using these bags. I was pleased with the quality and simplicity of the bags. Works great for what I needed. Would by again. Some advantages and some disadvantages when compared to more expensive bags, but GREAT value... December 5, 2015 I have used both Zip-lock and Honey-can-do brand vacuum bags before buying these, but wanted to give these a shot due to their significantly lower price. Initially, out of the bag, I was a bit disappointed, as these bags are made of a thinner plastic than are the other brands. However, the vacuum mechanism is much more simply (and efficiently) designed on these, and it seems as if they form a much better seal and hold their compression much better than the other brand.I had a stack of memory foam pillows which the other brands were defeated by after only a few hours, but these bags are holding them at their compressed size after a full half a day. These bags are a bit harder to load, initially, because they do not have gusseted sides as the larger bags in some of the other brands do, but that also means fewer seams to leak air. It seems as if this choice has paid off in the long run, allowing both for a better seal and probably also for lower manufacturing costs, which is why these bags can be had so cheap.Do not be scared away by the low price here, as these bags do their job just as well as some of the more expensive brands. So glad I bought this August 31, 2015 I am so glad I purchased this. I had a whole box full of old uniforms that I didn't want to get rid of and didn't have the space for them. A couple of these bags easily fit them all and I was honestly surprised how compressed they became. I spent the rest of my evening finding clothes to jam into those bags and suck the air out so that I can slide them under my bed. I don't know if your vacuum has to be extra strong, I used a dyson and it took only a few seconds to completely compress the bags. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to clear some closet space. Great for camping July 22, 2015 I'm a big camper but hate all the room my bedding takes up. I have always seen space saver bags but heard horror stories about them cracking. I decided I would give these a try since they were an okay price. They were very easy to use and I'm able to use them while camping. My air mattress pump works just fine on them. I was able to fit my king comforter, a fluffy blanket, fitted sheet, and 2 bath towels in one tote with room to spare. We are planning a trip to Costa Rica and the company we are renting our SUV from could not provide a soft sided roof top luggage carrier. FedEx was going to charge me $205 to send ours ahead of time to the hotel. Crazy!! We never check baggage on international flights for obvious reason.... These heavy duty bags made easy work of shrinking down our soft sided roof top luggage carrier to a size small enough to fit in the bottom of my son's carry on! Awesome!! I am very happy with these bags November 30, 2016 I have three daughters close in age so I use these a lot to keep clothes safe and out of the way when a size isn't in use. I have done Ziplocks space bags (the worst ones I have tried so far), Just seen on TVs space bags (which were the first ones I did and they lasted four years until I had toddlers start to climb on them. I haven't had these ones for that long yet but I can tell you they feel sturdier than the ziplock ones did, not as thick as the original ones were but still feel like they will last me a long time. My gripe is with the bag sizes, their mediums are what I am used to as smalls, their larges are what I know as mediums but their jumbos are way larger than my old larges, I do wish they had ones that were the same size as my old larges in addition to their jumbos. With as much as I use these that would be very helpful indeed. The hand pump that came with it is amazing. I use the vacuum to suck out the bulk of the air but I can get it even thinner with the hand pump. I like that the valves (the silicon pieces that keep the air from coming back in) are not super easy to pull off like they are on the ziplock bags and the screw style outer closure is excellent (did I mention I have four kids running around this house?) It makes it harder for the kids to open up and tamper with and the flip top styles have been known to flip up when you're moving stacked bags around the top of the closet. I am happy with this set and depending on if I used up all of them after my deep house cleaning I may buy myself another pack either of the 10 or just do the 6 jumbo as I think I may need them for blanket storage... Great set, great value, great bags - worth taking a look at! August 19, 2016 Bought 2 sets as we needed to pack all our stuff - what a great set!!!It comes with both, suction bags and roll bags. Personally, I'm not a fan of roll bags, but they are handy for their purpose. I was more interested in the suction bags.The set came with many different sizes. The bags are thick and sturdy. The double zipper doesn't leak and the suction pump that comes with this set works a lot better than using your vacuum cleaner. It sucks more air which means a better compression.The roll bags work and stay deflated which is nice, you just don't get the same amount of air out vs. the suction bags - this is by design. For the road warrior, these may be good. Like I said, I personally don't like roll bags for my garments on a trip.In the end, if you are not careful handling your bags, once filled or if you just throw them over sharp objects or hold them heavy by the zipper, they can tear - nothing to do with the quality of these bags - even car tires get a flat, right? The bags are sturdy, well built, multiple sizes, good zipper and a pump - a lot of value for your money.We just love them - would get another set to replace any bags as they wear out. Amazing Product May 10, 2016 Used these bags for the first time last night and they are fantastic. The price for the number of bags you get is amazing and they actually work. They are replacement bags for the "original space saver" bags I purchased over 10 years ago. Those bags did not work as well in recent years so I decided to switch and I'm so glad I picked this product. The key is to seal the bags well, you will want to use the zipper 3 or 4 times after filling the bag. Using multiple bags, I was able to condense 1 twin electric blanket, 1 queen electric blanket, 1 comforter, 2 decorative pillows, 3 blankets and 25 or so swimsuits, and fit everything on the top shelf of my linen closet. Using the old bags I had to use 2 shelves. The travel bags and mini pump will definitely come in handy too. I bought these because my linen closet was bursting. ... Living in a 1 bedroom apartment, I was out of options for space. The first picture is 2 large bags containing 3 pillows, 5 pillow cases, 2 throw blankets, and 2 full size sheets (cat not included). The second picture contains one jumbo bag and 2 extra large bags. The jumbo holds 2 king size conforters and the two extra large bags contain 2 twin size conforters each. All 5 bags fit perfectly in my tiny linen closet. Why didn't I get these a year ago??? ACTUAL non-paid customer review!! November 29, 2015 Let me begin by saying I DID NOT receive these discounted or for free. I paid for them and took a chance despite a bunch of useless reviews from paid reviewers.That being said...it turns out in this case that the paid folks were all right. This is an excellent deal on some great vacuum bags. I have a used a number of them and so far I have had zero issues and no leaks a month in. I am very pleased. The bags don't feel cheap, but I was expecting/hoping that they would feel a little more hefty like our old ones. Considering how poorly those functioned in comparison...maybe this is the better way?I have used 5 of the bags so far, and all of them have worked perfectly. With a regular vacuum, I am able to compress these down in seconds. I haven't yet tried the pump...maybe later. If you aren't traveling with these, then a vacuum is definitely the way to go. I especially love it for our memory foam mattress that we bring out to put on the blow up mattress when we need an extra bed. The memory foam is huge and unwieldy, but when you throw it in a vacuum bag it shrinks up to the size of a flattened pillow. Fantastic! I also use it to store winter/summer socks and other clothing items I don't wear very often.The only cons I can come up with for these are that the plastic clasps that make it easier to seal the zip-lock style tops can just pop off. You get 15 of them, so it's not a huge deal, but I KNOW I am going to be losing those guys. My older bags didn't have these though, so I'm still appreciative. I also noticed that the largest size bag has the vacuum valve right near the zip-lock end. This makes this bag a little harder to use because you have to make sure that whatever you are putting inside the bag stays underneath the valve. If you don't, then it just sucks up the plastic on the other side of the bag and then nothing happens. The other bags that I checked all had the valve centered, so everything you put inside the bag naturally stays underneath the valve where you would want them to.FINAL RECOMMENDATION: Definitely a great buy. I bought these when they were less than $20, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy them for twice that. They are great.UPDATE (4 months later): Happy to say that ALL the vacuum bags I've used so far are still holding their seals. There are no leaks whatsoever. The only thing i found was that it was hard to find a place to store it when i packed it full because u cant fold it at that point. I ended up storing the really big ones under my bed. The plastic feels a little cheap, but withstood a beating from toddlers. Only thing I didn't like was how the little white piece used to help close the bag doesn't stay on well at all Road tested January 2, 2016 Solid product. Lesson learned: don't overpack these with things of varying dimensions (t-shirts in one corner, pillows in another). Try to keep the contents of the bag level and it will serve you well. I used 4 bags to transport my closet in the trunk of my car in a 2,600 mile move across the U.S. The only bag that burst open was the one that had hoodies + pillows + t-shirts spread about. The rest of the bags held the vacuum seal really well for 7 days of driving through varying rise in sea level and temperatures, which impressed me. Great for storage! November 25, 2015 I really like how convenient these bags are to store items not currently in use. I've saved so much space in my closet! The bads are really big and could get heavy if you overfill. I used them to store clothes and it fit perfectly underneath my bed. It is easy to suck the air out with your home vacuum cleaner. The first bag I filled, I unfortunately grazed it across a medal part of my bed and it slit the plastic right open. That bag had to go in the trash. Well constructed, keep their seal October 20, 2015 I gave these bags only a 4 star rating ONLY because I bought these bags for packing fabric that I need to store as I begin packing for a move. I have never used bags like this before, so did not think through how a bag full of fabric would be heavy when the bag was filled. I simply wanted to be able to store the fabric clean and compact. I think they would work best for large puffy comforters or blankets or puffy coats to reduce storage space rather than lots of fabric or clothing. They are very large and for my purpose for them, the bags will be heavy to carry when I move. However, they are well made and work easily with a little hand vac hose. I have had one on my living room rug for over a week, ready for more fabric and they have kept their seal. With the quality of the construction, I am assuming they will make the move without the seal coming loose. The small bag included in the set I will use in traveling as it seals like a zip lock bag, not a vacuum hose needed. I had two large rubbermaid totes filled with a thick comforter, a sleeping back, plus a bunch of clothes. Using 5 of these bags, I was able to reduce the one tote to 1/3rd capacity... Now that might not seep like a whole lot, but keep in mind I had multiple bags filled with only jeans and folded sheets, which don't compress nearly as much as comforters, sleeping bags, jackets, etc. Another thing I like about these bags is they give you a bunch of plastic attachments that act like a zipper when closing the double seal zip-lock top. When I finally realized what they were for (no instructions included), they became extremely handy.NOTE: the medium sized bags DO NOT have a valve to hook up a vacuum to. These are supposed to be roll-up ones meant for going on vacation I suspect. I couldn't get a decent pack with only rolling it up, though it was still better than packing without any bag at all. What I did was stuck the skinny nozzle on the vacuum, shoved it down to the bottom of the bag, turned on the vacuum and slowly removed the nozzle. Then at the very end I quickly removed the nozzle, and closed the bag. That worked surprisingly decent. Quality product great value January 17, 2016 These worked great. I got multiple bins of clothes into 1 large bag. I got 2 comforters in a medium sized bag. This item is better then other "spacebag" products I've used in the past as the seal is stronger. September 28, 2015 Pros: works with any vacuum, durable and they didn't break during several road trips, works as advertised (condenses things to roughly 1/5 of the size).Cons: Doesn't hold seal through somewhat rigorous handling. The smallest bags do not have the one way vent and are only sealed manually, which I felt was somewhat misleading.Overall: These got the job done for me for my cross country move. I packed up all of my winter stuff and it saved a ton of space in the trunk of my car. A couple of them lost the seal when I was packing and moving them, and I had to re-vacuum them. April 29, 2017 I bought these bags to store clothes, comforters and beach towels. I've used the jumbo size which could have easily fit more than a queen size comforter! I'm saving 2/3 the space with each bag than I was with the zip locks and trash bags I was using before!!! I was able to fit 3 bags in the place of one of the old ones!The purpose for my purchase: We are moving across country and have 3 little boys who have SO many clothes. Plus my "fluffy" clothes, skinny clothes, maternity, breastfeeding, etc. Add that to all the bedding and we needed everything to fit in the truck. Weight wasn't an issue, space was.Pros: The zipper hasn't come open at all as I move them around and get them packed up. I havent ever used vacuum packs and wasntvsurevif my vacuum would be good enough but it worked great. The bags are definitely big and hold a lot of stuff. I put a fireman hat in one and some pants with the zipper exposed in another and was worried that it would tear the bag with the suction/pressure but it's been sturdy. It comes with a manual pump that worked just fine (a vacuum gets more air out because it gets harder to manually pump it once suction is stronger) which I used to not wake the kids.Cons: After suctioning the air out of one with the vacuum, it started sucking it back in after I put the lid on. I took it off and suctioned more out and then it stayed. I think the little flap over the hold just got crooked. But my kids were pushing on it. I only had the problems once and have found no quality issues besides that temporary one. The Jumbo bag seems a little too big and I'm not really sure what to do with it. Once it was flat, it seems like its be a bit awkward to move around but I'm sure I'll use it anyway. They have some roll up ones that are to be used in suitcases but I found that I usually have an issue with weight when flying, not with space. We had two people with memory foam pillows and that's where they really shined. They were flying and had no idea how they'd fit in carry-ons (we took them down for them). We threw both of them in a large bag, used the pump and "voila!", we were all set. We did the same with their clothes and everything made it in rather comfortably. (Their bags did weight quite a bit.)I've had other versions of these bags and so far these are my favorite. I would recommend them for any trip, even if you don't particularly need room as they tend to keep clothes unwrinkled and prevent items from accidentally coming out of bags. January 11, 2016 In my pregnant nesting fury, I was determined to make as much room as possible in our tiny one-bedroom apartment for a stockpile of diapers, baby clothes, etc. I remembered these kinds of bags from their heyday back in the late 90's and how much fun it was to shrink down a huge comforter to a tiny shriveled ball.It's still so much fun!These bags are a good deal considering the quantity and the range of sizes you get, and with a little elbow grease, work perfectly.PROS:Lots of different sizes to choose from.Each bag fits A LOT. Even the medium, the smallest size of the vacuum pack kind, fit three full size pillows no prob.Really does shrink down a lot, and doesn't let any air in after being sealed.The little rollup bags are a fun surprise and good for overnight trips or, in my case, to pack a few spare baby outfits and burp cloths in the car in case we have a blowout, and will possibly be used to store said blowout clothes and seal in the stink before we get home.CONS:Not really a big one, but you need to PRESS DOWN HARD with your vacuum nozzle over the port to get the vacuum sealing to start.The zipper closure at the top is not that intuitive. It works perfectly, but like the vacuum port, you really need to press down hard the entire time you are sealing the bag. The little tab will come off either side, so be careful not to lose it.The bigger bags are... enormous. And I don't know how the picture on the box did it, but I cannot get them to fold in half or whatever to store them easily after I've vacuumed the air out. So those I just slid under the bed. Three Star Reviews: | 10% "Jumbo" is right! December 23, 2016 These are definitely "jumbo," they are as wide as my full size bed. If you're looking for water/insect protection and under bed storage, these will probably suit your needs. However, if you are looking for large, space saving bags, opt for a smaller size as these cannot be hung in a closet or stored in a small space even when lightly packed. That being said, great seller, shipping and I would definitely buy from again. :-) I'm giving the stars because I think the ripping was my fault but the plastic is also very flimsy and the seams aren't good. But they are fragile March 23, 2016 These bags are huge, which I love. But they are fragile. I ripped one at the beginning of use, which wasn't a huge deal considering I had plenty more. I taped up the holes and that seemed to work fine, but I'm sure it will slowly leak air from this point on. The closing mechanism is a bit cheap, and the tab used to seal comes off easily which makes it even easier to lose. Huge bag. Nice construction but won't survive rough handling. November 3, 2015 Initially I loved these bags. They're huge! I can fit winter comforter, dome coat, etc. all in one bag. Sealing is easy and the plastic zipper is on the shorter side of the bag.The problem is that after 4 months of use and 2 moves, only 1 out of 4 bags survived. 3 of them developed small tears, which made them useless as vacuum storage bags. The plastic is pretty thin. So treat them gently and they should last. These bags are okay! They hold a ton of stuff and compress ... September 20, 2015 Editing once more- these bags are okay for short term storage, maybe 3-4 months max. After that each of them began to fill with air again and needed to be vacuumed again. Not a huge deal, but a little bit of an inconvenience.***editing to add, after a couple of months of being stored, one bag started refilling with air and another ripped. Once compressed, they seem to tear more easily. The ones that have held up, have really done their job.These bags are awesome! They hold a ton of stuff and compress nicely. After seeing reviews about them tearing easily I took a chance on them and I tried being careful with them but it looks like one of them must have gotten damaged when I was filling it because it started letting in air after two days. They don't really tear easily but I can see it being easy to poke a hole in them if it gets caught on something a little sharp. But, they work good enough for me. They work best for storing under a bed because they are so large. Just don't over fill them and make sure they are sealed. The ones that worked worked well enough but I had a couple of bags re-inflate almost immediately and I had one rip just from handling. August 27, 2017 The bags that work are great, however after using the medium bags we noticed there was an issue. All of our medium bags seemed to be defective because they start to take on air again. I think I emailed the seller too long after we had purchased and were told to contact amazon. I'm not entirely sure that e'll be purchasing these again, unfortunately. The bags that do work definitely help with saving space. Decent but not the best October 7, 2016 I decided to give these vacuum bags a chance as I was trying to save space in my home. Initially I was impressed by these. There are a large variety of sizes of bags which is great for accommodating small things to extra large items. I don't own a vacuum so I have to use products that come with a hand pump in order to seal the bags. This is definitely not the ideal route but it's not the end of the world either. Just takes a bit more patience. I was able to put 6 large blankets in one bag and store it away. I fit tons of old clothes (that I don't wear but didn't want to throw away) in a large bag to fit in the closet. Everything seemed great! Easy enough to seal the bags and they definitely fit a lot. Unfortunately, over time, I've noticed that the bags have let in a lot of air. Not enough to where they are unusable but they are definitely not as tight and small as they were when I initially put items in them.Overall, these are just okay. They get the job done but you'll have to occasionally re-pump them to maintain the vacuum seal size and shape. Great for travel, not so great for storage August 20, 2016 I have to agree with what several others have said – the bags do not hold their seal for very long. I purchased these for two purposes: fitting more stuff into suitcases when I travel, and for efficient storage of bulky items like spare pillows and blankets. For travel they work perfectly. I don’t know how long the hand pump will last – it feels a little flimsy – but so far, so good.For storage, on the other hand, they re-inflate within a few days. I’ve still made some space savings because I’m able to stuff more onto a shelf when the bags are fully compressed, then the shelf itself holds everything together once the vacuum seal fails.Lastly, a couple of the bags came with small pinholes in them. Nothing some duct tape couldn’t fix, but still disappointing, Good, but not super-durable. July 11, 2016 Having had these for a while:1) The travel bags work well. Even without a vacuum, it helps compress the stuff in your suitcase....packing more in your suit case of course will make it heavier.2) One got torn during a move, the plastic is not super-durable.3) A second one had the seal/zipper fail.4) I didn't notice until after I got them that my Dyson's hose doesn't really have a flat end, but a little extra pressing on it and you can get reasonable suction. You REALLY don't want to use the hand pump with these.5) The little clips that are used to press the seal closed are constantly falling off and getting lost. Cheap but some of them worked July 10, 2016 These are okay. The XL ones worked pretty good for my sweaters but they came undone a few times even when I sealed it over and over. The one holding my winter comforter came undone just now. I will leave it in the bag because at lease it will protect it from dust. I guess they are good for the price but I ended up throwing half of them away because they would notstay sealed. One got a hole in them when we moved so you have to be extremely careful. If the bags don't have holes, they're great June 23, 2016 Before I start, I would like to say that I am no stranger to space saver bags - I say this so that you may understand that I do not believe I made any errors (I ensured all bags were completely zippered, I didn't put anything with a zipper or sharp object in the bag, ect.). I ordered these space saver bags to utilize as much space as possible as I move across the country. The bags that actually worked were great - however, I filled these bags within the last week, and many of them regained some air; not all the way, but just a little - not a huge deal for my scenario because I will make sure to re-vacuum the bags before I load them in the moving truck; however, if you are ordering these bags to sit in your closet, I wouldn't feel comfortable that they would hold air for a long period of time. Additionally, two bags out of the pack also lost air within the day; I have re- zippered then re-vacuumed them with the same result. So - if you get bags that work, this product is great. It's awesome. These are high-quality vacuum sealer bags. They have a valve that helps keep air from going back in. The air remover pump is awesome.At first, you pump and it seems like it isn't working...but then it just takes a minute to see it working. I love the bag sizes and fit a king size blanket in a bag, and a comforter in another bag and now my closet has so much more room! We have minimal closet space here so it's perfect!Can't wait to use these on a trip and see how much I can pack into one suitcase!UPDATEUnfortunately by morning one of the bags had lost its vacuum seal and was back to its normal size. I tried to reseal it and redo it but it is still getting air in it somewhere. At that point, I gave up and put it in another bag and sealed it.Then yesterday I was packing away more bags and found that 2 more bags were not sealing correctly and were also getting air in causing them to lose the vacuum seal. We loaded them all up with various blankets, clothing, towels, etc. and vacuumed the air out. They compressed significantly and stacked nicely. However, when we woke up the next day, several of the bags didn't keep their seal. We looked at the bags all over, trying to find holes but there weren't any. We verified the seals were securely closed, which they were, yet they still don't keep the compression. What a let down, dont even bother June 19, 2016 I've never been so disappointed in a product before. It works great when you first do it on the floor and see everything shrink down to nothing. I figured some may not hold up and I get that, but the main issue I have is they tear easily. You put 3 sealed bags in a space where you could only fit the amount of stuff for one bag, one or two loose their vacuum seal and now they're jammed in a space. Once you go to take the ones that lost their seal you bump the wall or the shelf and you get a tear, some so small you can't see it but you can hear the air escaping. They're just not heavy duty enough to get bumped around you literally can't touch them. I'm not gonna waste my time on a product that I have to baby I expected to be able to move these around from closet to closet and to help with my space for moving. Not worth the price May 4, 2016 I got these two days short of a month ago and used two today for the first time. I had also purchased another brand and used three of those. They worked fairly well and were quite thick but the Home Complete ones I am returning as they are thin and do not stay deflated, they had puffed back up after a few hours and they were not overfilled with stuff so it was the bags themselves. Glad I tried them today 5/4 as the return deadline is 5/6. That in itself is a lesson learned, try the item when you get it, not a month later when you can't return it. Great, if not defective April 18, 2016 I ordered two boxes. Out of 30 bags, so far 5 of the bags leak. This is taking them straight out of the box and the only surface they had contact with is the floor and the bed. I still have more to do but am running out of the sizes I need most -- medium and large because of leaks (leaks occurred in xtra large, large, and medium). The ones that work, work great and I so enjoy the organization provided and space saving. However, to have so many leak. They leak from different areas: around the valve, along a seam, edge of the zipper so I guess expect some defects. I was scared that these bags could easily be punctured March 5, 2016 Felt compelled to write a review for this product. I had recently moved and had to pack a 4- bedroom house. I needed a lot of storage bags for all our comforters, old clothes and stuffed toys. I did my research and was torn between a ziploc brand and home-complete. And did I mention I needed a lot of storage bags. So I bought both brands. I was impressed with the size of home-complete versus the ziploc brand. It can hold a lot more items although I find that the ziploc has a stronger, thicker plastic. I was scared that these bags could easily be punctured. Then came the vacuum part which was pretty fun. My 7-year old was getting a kick out of watching all that air got sucked out. The ziploc for some reason sucks air a whole lot faster than this brand which was pretty awesome. But I bought these bags to perform and sadly, home-complete did not deliver. By the next morning, my home-complete bags have expanded. I had to vacuum air out again. By move in day I have boxes that were out of shape from expanded bags. Meanwhile, ziplocs stood to the test and maintained their deflated state all the way to unpacking. One Star Reviews: | 21% After time, ...they all split, cracked or leaked. February 28, 2017 We bought these in August of 2015. We needed to store a bunch of RV blankets, towels, sheets, pillows and such. These were all loaded, vacuumed and stored in our fully finished basement where the humidity and temperature are constant. These bags all gave way and eventually leaked. They either split and or basically fell apart. I guess the plastic used to make the bags is short-term and not meant for long-time storage? In any event, I am buying replacements today on Amazon and I'm hoping that they will last longer than these did. I am only giving them a one star because I actually bought another brand on the very same day and while they are smaller bags, they still perform flawlessly. I guess they were made for longer storage needs and with better plastic properties? Three Stars July 31, 2016 They don't stay sealed that great. The clips don't stay on the seal, and eventually they are useless. won't buy them again. Still sealed as ever, 7 months later May 3, 2016 Update- I packed my summer clothes in these and none of the three I used have held their seal after a few hours. I tried to reseal them again a couple of times with same results. Boo, will try another brand :(I've used several brands of these bags, and these are by far, the best. Just this weekend, I took out my summer clothes, and the bags were as sealed as they were back in November when I packed them. The winter clothes and sweaters have gone in, and I'm reasonably confident they'll be sealed as well when I pull them out of the basement in November! Only complaint is the size -they're really big. Too big to fit in a giant Rubbermaid container, like I used to do with a few of the other brands' smaller bags. November 23, 2015 So initially I thought these were awesome. Filled it up, slide the bar across and turned the knob to close it or so I thought. Put it away in the closet, come back to see it back to the regular size. I do recall hearing a little hissing sound from the bottom corner and thought oh maybe it had a small hole in it. That being me to today. I removed all thitems and use a second bag. Same process. Ensured the top was secure turned and turned and turned to get it closed. Comeback to day and it looks as if I did nothing to it. These were a waste. I had one bag tear at the zipper, so I went to reach out to the seller and I went through the warranty registration. The site that you register with looks a bit shady and puts you on a mailing list. Since I had registered, I went to reach out to the support address and the e-mail address provided bounced. I then reached out to the home complete site that messaged me when I registered and I never heard back from them.The next week I left for vacation, and upon returning I noticed the bags were starting to fill back up, especially those with pillows. The last kick in the pants was that I noticed this particular bundle is more expensive than the larger bundle they offer. The extra jumbo bags are too big to handle and they don't hold the vacuum. I used them for quilts that I wanted to protect. Some of the bags didn't last overnight. By the time I arrived at my new location, every one of the bags had to be redone. I used about 10 of the bags, the other 10 are in the storage room waiting to be thrown out. It just annoys me that I paid for 20 and used 10. I should have returned but didn't. Maybe others had better experiences than I did. FYI, I NEVER can get my bags to look as neat and pretty as the pictures. I thought I would buy a product that had it own vac so it would work better.
