The seller is the reason to buy this starter bass
July 2, 2017
This bass is working out well for my 14 year old. It sounds fine, looks cool and she loves it. You may want to purchase your own bag because the amount one it comes from is super cheap. The best part if this purchase was the seller. They were incredibly responsive, easy to get in touch with and seemed genuinely interested in satisfying the customer. There were shipping issues that was not their fault, but they wanted to make sure they communicated with us and made sure we were happy. A real pleasure of an online purchase.
For those who think it sucks think again
March 10, 2017
So the only issue I had with it was fret buzz, but took it to the music store and they fixed it for $10. For what you pay it's a very good deal. The speaker is actually pretty loud and my case came with a pocket. I would highly recommend if you just want to test the waters
Musican in the making

The bass is beautiful the color is amazing. Tje sound is great and the bass sounds wonderful. The tuner is great and really helps my daughter tell when things are good with her music. This is a great starter kit my daughter love it

Loved it and especially for the price. Would definitely order from them again. It was a solid instrument and everything came with it and had no problems. Good starter
Great for the price!
September 5, 2013
I'm not a bass player, but I bought this to go in my little home studio so whoever comes over can play. This is a Great little bass for the money. I'll probably get better strings for it, but the ones on it tune up and stay in tune. I think it is perfect for what I got it for. If your starting out or just want to add a bass to your stock of music equipment, get it!

Good pix 4 the money.
May 20, 2017
These pix r great. Some people have mentioned that they wear a little faster than the heavier ones, but that makes sense. Every grade of pik makes a particular sound on the strings, and has it's own unique characteristics of wear. Can't beat 'em 4 the money! Good assortment of colors.
Awesome picks!!

These pics are outstanding and very durable. The colors are great and they work perfectly for my 10 year-old sonwho is learning to play guitar.

Good general use picks
August 14, 2016
These picks are great for general use, both picking and strumming. I keep a bunch stored in one of those spring-loaded pick holders close to my guitars. All of the colors are the same type and thickness. Sure, I have many other picks that I depending on what I am playing, but these are great grab-and-go picks.
Great Picks, Great Price
July 27, 2016
Great price on this set of picks and they're tough. I began to wonder why I needed more than one because I couldn't break it or wear it out. I've got lots of others but I think I'll stick with D'Addario for my picks. And they look great, when you play like I do maybe attractive picks can help?
Good quality!
July 15, 2015
Love these picks for my acoustic guitar. I'm glad they're colorful so they won't get lost, although I have a habit of losing them all the time which is why I bought a bunch. They're pretty durable; I've been using them for over a year now and have no problems whatsoever and only lost two. The grip is decent as well, another set of picks my friend gave me had some sort of waxy coating and they used to slip out of my hands when I played. I don't have that problem with these. Overall, I would definitely recommend them, you can't really find much better for this price.

Guitar doesn't slip (unlike XCG4)
August 7, 2017
I have been using this stand for 2 years and have never had any problems. I was concerned about the warning that the rubber pads might damage a nitro cellulous lacquer finish (even though I think that is only used on expensive guitars and mine definitely does not qualify) so when I went to buy another stand earlier this year, I bought an XCG4 which is supposed to be safe for nitro cellulous lacquer finishes. After using both stands on a daily basis for several months, I like the Musician's Gear stand MUCH better. You have to be very careful with the XCG4 or the guitar will slip off. This has happened about once a month even though I am very careful. I have never had that problem with this stand. I put socks on the bottom supports and the neck support to protect the guitar finish just in case but it is probably not necessary in my case. It does look pretty dorky so if I was going to play out, I would probably tape up the rubber supports.
They are solidly built and extremely easy to set up
December 4, 2016
have 7 of these in my house and I trust them all with my guitars (two Fenders, a Gretsch, a Martin, a Gibson and some Epiphones). They are solidly built and extremely easy to set up. All one needs to do is extended the tripod legs, plug in the top half of the neck and screw it in so that it stays locked in. This feature is great if you have a bass and need more length for the instrument. Some people have complained about the foam not being safe for a nitrocellulose finish. I've no idea if that's the case. Nitrocellulose is typically found on more expensive guitars (I don't even think Gibson and Fender use it much nowadays, except perhaps in their custom shop models, but if you can pay $3,000 to $5,000 for a guitar, would you use an $8 stand for them?) If you're worried about this, I suppose you should skip the stand, or replace the foam with some terrycloth or felt.Additionally, some people have complained about the welds failing on this stand. As far as I know, the only "weld" is at the bottom, on the "skirt" where the legs lock into place. Unless you abuse the stand, I simply don't see that piece failing. All in all this is a great stand. Once I move into my new house, I will upload some pictures of the guitars on them.
If you're worried about your finish read this.
October 14, 2016
First things first before you buy, if you are unsure whether you have a poly finish or a nitro finish on your guitar, you should perform the acetone test. (If you are bold enough).*To perform acetone test simply purchase a nail polish remover with the highest concentration of acetone (I found compromised of 100% acetone)Next dip a cotton swab in the solution and dab the tip of the swab on onto your finish. You want to do this preferably onto a place that won't easily be seen like the bottom of your guitar. If the the acetone caused damage to the area applied, you have yourself a nitro finish and should not buy this stand. Likewise if the acetone simply evaporated, congratulate yourself get yourself a beer and buy this stand. For the actual product review i'd say you get what you pay for, however in this case you get more. The stand is very sturdy and well built, my only gripe with the stand is that the part where the bottom of the guitar rests swivels a bit. Also due to another review I read about bad welding I will not relocate the stand or guitar on it without removing my guitar first. My stand appears very sturdy but I wont take the chance. One last selling point to convince you before I go. Free shipping... Enough said.
Great, Inexpensive Stand
April 18, 2015
This is a straightforward guitar stand. It comes in three pieces: the body with the three foldable legs, the upper rest that holds the neck, and the lower rest that holds the bottom of the guitar. The upper and lower rests are covered with neoprene, so they cushion the guitar. There was a warning tag that came with it that said some finishes (I think acetate?) can react with the neoprene, but I haven't had that problem as mine's a urethane finish. The stand assembles and disassembles easily and is very sturdy and stable. The upper rest can be height adjusted with that knob, but only by about 3". (I think that's more of a side effect of its construction than intended feature.) The upper rest has a rubber band that holds the neck in place and is easily used. The entire thing is matte black.I highly recommend having a stand for your guitar, and this one is just lovely. It is an inexpensive way to avoid wear and tear, and it just looks so much better than leaving the guitar propped up in a corner or against a bookshelf. If you want to display your guitar, it's an easy way to do that as well.
Perfect stand for newer guitars
December 30, 2014
Perfect stand for acoustic or electric guitar. Good, quality construction. Adjustable height allows for usage for a small child's guitar (maybe even a ukulele) all the way to a full size electric bass. Has thick padded areas where the guitar makes contact with the stand. The only drawback is the warning that comes attached to the stand that says that the foam used in the padding may react and cause damage to nitrocellulose finishes. I have not experienced any marks yet, but with that I would be a little leery of using it with a vintage guitar. Sits on floor securely, and includes a strap on the top to keep your guitar in place if it might receive a gentle bump.PROS:Holds guitar securelyMaintains upright position when slightly bumped (haven't had any MAJOR bumps yet)Foam padding on contact points protect the guitar's finish from dents/scratchesCONS:I would not use it with a vintage guitar due to warning of foam causing damage to the finishUPDATE:After a year of using this, I have NOT noticed any damage to the finish of my guitar due to the foam (I have a 1996 Japanese made Jackson DKMG). Several times it has been bumped (my daughter is 2), but the base is wide enough to be secure, and the strap on top (does NOT touch the strings) stays securely in place.I would highly recommend this to ANYONE looking for a quality guitar stand. We spend hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars on guitars, why would we want to hide them away in their cases? Mine stands proudly in the corner of my living room. I would heed the manufacturer's warning about the foam when used with a vintage guitar, but for the average user this is an excellent piece at an awesome price. So far it has held up much better than my 'premium' stand purchased from a local store for a much higher price (it uses surgical tubing instead of foam, and it has long since hardened and cracked).
Great stand, great price!
September 3, 2014
I recently purchased a Fender Telecaster guitar for my partner and so we bought this to use as a stand. I like it because it has the little rubber piece that you can put around the neck of the guitar for some added stability. We are not traveling rockstars by any means, so for our purposes, it works amazingly well, and it's a great price! Would definitely purchase again. I will say that the legs can be a bit unstable if you have thick carpet, so make sure you have them spaced appropriately before you leave the guitar unattended.

Great Starter Kit for a New Bass Player
November 5, 2014
I wanted to learn to play bass, and thought this was a pretty good deal considering everything I needed was there. The bass itself is pretty solid according to my friend who has played guitar fotr years. The carrying case is nice and it has a pocket to carry wires, picks, etc. The tuner does not look like the picture, but I found it very easy to use. It's screen turns green when you have it tuned correctly, which helped me out a lot. The only problem I encountered was the amp. Sometimes it sounds fine, but sometimes it does not pick up the E and A strings very well. I plan on going to a pawn shop to get a new amp. The picks are also very thin, but I use my fingers to play.Overall, I think it is a great starter kit, and I have enjoyed learning to play with it very much over the last few months.
love it

Great Price! Great for a beginner. Only down point, the battery was dead on the clip on tuner. Also, there is horrible feed back with the cheap speaker.

Good stiff pickers picks. I like anything by D'Addario. These are pretty much in the same league with any other Celluloid pick however. Nice color assortment. But other than the name, there really isn't any difference than the average pick..

March 4, 2017
Great picks and beautiful for crafts. The other side is blank if you use for art and for playing the grip is good but not quite as good as the turtle grips.
Good value for the price
August 23, 2016
These are great little pics. Nothing fancy but they get the job done. Good assortment of colors. The finish on them is nice and there is no sharp edges like I've found on some other cheap pics. I do wish it was also an assortment of hardness but it's not. Overall for the price I'd buy them again if I needed more.
Cute and colorful picks

My daughter loves the colors. They're better for adults than children because they are little thin but they work for her just fine and she's nine.

Good for the money and does its job

The guitar stand is good for the money and it does its job – nothing interesting or tricky about it and that’s all you need.
I was incredibly pleased. The stand is very very nice and sturdy
January 4, 2016
I have very conflicting opinions on this item. The first time I purchased this item, I was incredibly pleased. The stand is very very nice and sturdy, and to this day that stand holds up very well. I'm incredibly pleased with it.However, when I bought a second one, it fell apart after about a month. The top part of the stand literally broke off. I didn't abuse it in any way. It must have been defective. I probably could've tried to send it back, but I never got around to it. However, the first one I got held up great, and I love it.
Adequate Stand for Its Purpose
January 11, 2015
The stand is decent for the price. I bought two so I could place my guitars in different areas of my bedroom rather than together in a double stand. The stand works fine both for a small electric guitar as well as the larger acoustic guitar that can also be played without amplification. The item is light but heavier enough to hold adequately each guitar. My suggestion is to include some type of instructions for putting together the parts. I think either just brief directions and/or a diagram showing how the parts fit together. It is not difficult to do, but having directions would just make it easier.
Will a guitar stand help my child practice more?
October 13, 2014
Having the guitar on this stand looks professional and cool. It brings the guitar front and center. We have a couple of guitars on the wall units. But that makes the guitar look like it is part of the decoration. The stand, which sits right next to the amplifier, brings the guitar to my sons attention. I fantasize that he's practicing more because the guitar is right there. I like it when he picks up the guitar instead of watching TV. I wish it happened more often. The unit is stable, but not overly substantial. The bottom fork, where the guitar body rests, pivots. I don't really like that attribute. But the freely moving fork makes it easy to accommodate different body styles. The unit was easy to assemble, and can fold up easily to store. It is a good price, and works as advertised.
Very good stand
June 3, 2014
Works like it should work. It seems stable under all normal conditions. If you kick it, it will probably fall, period. Don't kick it and all is well. For those who have uncontrollable pets and children, look for something built out of some indestructible material and be willing to pay dearly for it. I would recommend it to friends and would buy another, if needed.I have purchased two of these so far and have used them on all four of my basses. No issues with either of them in two years. The neck cradle is a little narrow for my Ibanez six string bass, but it still works just fine. Numerous gigs and two very rambunctious dogs and the stand has never tipped over. If someone is rough on any gear, it will fail.
Very sturdy!
January 18, 2014
The stand is incredibly sturdy and I found it to be a great value as compared to what I was able to find in stores. I only gave a 4 star rating because the swivel cradle for the guitar doesn't have a way to lock it in. I imagine that it was by design, and if you don't have to move the stand it likely would never be an issue. It is easy to set up and break down.

great sound, moderate durabiiity
November 4, 2016
great sound, don't hold up to long hours of practice, this may be normal for celluloid picks , I just know the music room is littered with bits of them after a practice session. but they give the resident musician the sound he wants so i'll make sure he has a good supply on hand
Assorted colors *only*, not thickness
January 25, 2015
The picks are OK, but by "assorted" I assumed the picks would be assorted in thickness, not just color. My assumptions were wrong. All the picks in the bag are the same thickness, I'd have preferred to have assorted picks in thickness (you want a thinner pick for strumming vs a thicker pick for picking), but when I realized I had already opened the bag and it was too late.My recommendation is to find a different assortment of picks by thickness, unless you really want only one "size".

Good stand, but smells like chemicals.
October 14, 2016
Works great, assembles easy, but smells strongly of "made in china smell", whatever it is, phthalates, tetrachloroethylene. Plenty of info about that elsewhere. I try to avoid the stuff, but it's close to unavoidable.
Not high quality at all
February 10, 2016
The neck broke a few days after I received it. I had to weld it back together. Its better then ever now.
I used these for years, but then I found something that is even better.....
January 26, 2016
I use to use these all the time, but now I use them in my music studio for my guitar students... I have found something better to use when I'm on stage, and using more than one guitar, infact, I keep a folding stand on stage for each guitar that I have, so I have one for all of my guitars when the band is on break.. Again, it's not this one that I use on stage.. Not any more.! These stay in the music studio, now....
Does the purpose but it is not the sturdiest.
June 20, 2015
This guitar stand does the job but I would still use caution when you put any type of guitar on it. I would not recommend it for any major expensive guitar. It does the job but at times you need to watch the bottom arms as they will turn on you when you sometimes go to put a guitar on it. Not that guitar stands require any type of major degree to put together but the one I received had no instructions at all and you just had to guess. Does the purpose but you need to be careful as it is not the sturdiest one on the market.
Back leg is short and the arm swivels O.o
June 9, 2012
I suppose you get what you pay for... I got this for my steel sting acoustic and it gets the job done. The design is a little unusual. It's not very sturdy with it's short back leg and someone can easily knock it over as the brush by it. Also, the two little arms that hold the body of the guitar are not secure and are set to rotate for some reason.
Holds a guitar, looks broken
January 26, 2012
Definitely the bottom of the guitar stand selection, but it does hold a guitar fine. Stand feels kind of cheap (light metal, parts don't "click" into place, the tubing is very thin-walled and thin diameter. This is all okay, as all I need it to do is stand my guitar up, right? When the guitar is not in the stand, the bottom U-shaped part (where the base of the guitar rests) hangs at an odd angle, about 15 degrees from horizontal. It doesn't effect the ability of the stand to hold a guitar, but it completes the impression of a cheap, crappy product. A tube at the bend of the U slides into a tube on the "spine" of the stand, allowing it to pivot/spin freely, and come to rest in this lopsided position. I'm not sure if one arm of the part is heavier than the other, or if the part is bent, but it annoys me.A nicer guitar stand I used to own had rubber surgical-type tubing instead of foam on the parts that touched the guitar, which "stuck" to the guitar, creating a more solid hold. Also, on this nicer stand, the U-shaped guitar-contacting parts were hinged to the "spine", so it could be folded up into one smaller piece instead of taken apart into 3 pieces. A benefit of this hinge-style attachment was that the U-shaped parts were not free to rotate to the "crappy guitar stand" position.Thats a long review for a $10 guitar stand - my advice, spend a few more bucks and get one with hinges and rubber tubing instead of foam.

Not a good starter bass
October 24, 2014
Not a good starter bass. The strings are set extremely high. A lot of tweeking needs to be done just to to play it comfortably. No matter how much you rework it, the bass never sounds decent. Amp is equally sub-par. Just spend the money for better equipment. You only will in the end.

Timely delivery; poor quality bass
April 7, 2014
Bass arrived when expected, but the quality is very poor. Some screws weren't all the way in. Body is cracked. Paint was rushed & uneven. Strings broke before they could be tuned the first time. Tolerable beginner bass, but a little more spent on a higher quality guitar would save a lot in the long run.
Ok deal, but not great.

Not good for angled picking
May 4, 2014
The price is great and the colors are awesome. However, if you pick at an angle then these probably aren't for you. When I played with these picks the edges ground away pretty quick. I had to change picks every few hours. Also these picks sound like they are scraping the strings. If you pick flat then these are fine. Though truthfully, I think angled picking is better.Just fyi I use ernie ball medium gauge strings and a schecter c1 plus so nothing out of the ordinary.

Horrible design. The part that holds the guitar neck ...
November 14, 2016
Horrible design. The part that holds the guitar neck just snapped today. Basically it's this thin flap of metal that's holding the guitar neck holder to the stand. It's gonna break very easily so you need to be very careful when you're removing placing the guitar on the stand, or securing it with the included strap. I was able to give it a fix with some electrical tape. Basically I had to wrap it around 20 times so it was secure, but now yhe neck holder is flimsy. I guess you get what you pay for.
You can find better for the same price (actually $1 less)
July 28, 2016
I bought three different guitar stands to compare and keep the one I liked best: the Gator Frameworks GFW-GTR-1000, the On Stage XCG4, and this one by Musician's Gear. Of all three, this one was my least favorite. For those who want to quickly know the winner, it was the Gator Frameworks GFW-GTR-1000. For those who want more details, read on.Everything about the Musician's Gear stand seems generic and poorly made, which is odd to me considering it has the most reviews here on Amazon, compared to the other two. It just shows you have to look deeper on Amazon before going with the most popular products. The construction of the Musician's Gear stand is just okay; sturdy enough to do the job, but nothing of quality. The metal tubing is the thinnest of the three, and little thought must have been put into the engineering of its build, because there's a bit of a "duh" aspect to the way it assembles. The neck holder rod that slides into the base tube rams into the perpendicular rod of the base holder when assembled. The result? The neck holder always seems up too high, and never really feels like it's in the base tubing as far down as it should be. It holds a standard guitar fine, but feels restricted. The foam rubber that surrounds the neck holder prongs and the base holder prongs is very soft compared to the other two stands. I can't say for sure, but it seems like this foam would tear more easily than the other two, over time. When the guitar (standard Fender Strat) is placed on the stand, it feels secure enough to hold up, but not as secure as the other two. It feels slightly wobbly and pliable. This might be a fine stand for the casual player at home, and most likely someone who has a light acoustic guitar, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is hoping to take it to live events, nor would I recommend it for anyone with a heavier electric guitar or bass.Perhaps my 2-star review is a little harsh, but I've chosen this rating because the other two stands are better, and they are $1 cheaper than this one at the time of this writing. I'm not sure exactly why someone would choose this stand over the other two, but as long as you're a casual player who just wants it for home use, you'll be happy enough with it.
Got two. Both have issues.

Bought one for my sister's bass guitar, and so did my uncle. She kept both.Firstly, they do their job. No doubt, it's easy to hold up a guitar, but it's very annoying that the bottom bar keeps sliding off.On one stand the bottom U-shape keeps sliding out of place and out of the standing pole. The peice of pinched metal that slides through the slit has rubbed off, so now the U-shape just slides out and falls off. Makes it a pain to move the stand around, or make sure a guitar is securely seated. On the other stand, the U-shape guitar seat is secured on, but still shaky, and again, a bit annoying. The metal rod that inserts into the hole is all scratched up.I would've rather the stand be designed so that the parts screw on to be secured, rather than an insert-and-twist system. It is a comfy stand, and I would rate 2 and 1/2 stars if I could, but can't.
It was a great stand while it stayed together
December 8, 2015
It was a great stand while it stayed together. Now 8 months later the top "U" neck holder has fallen off. Looking at the piece, the entire U isn't welded to the frame, but was spot welded (only a dot at the top was welded), and not the entire U to the frame. Thus it just simply popped off. If they simply welded this correctly, this stand would be way more solid and last a lot longer. I'm guessing the factory that is making these are cutting corners/time by spot welding instead of welding the whole U to the frame. Pretty disappointed.
Cheaply made and not very durable!
January 7, 2014
I purchased this stand for my electric guitar and used it for a couple of weeks before the weak weld broke on the neck holder at the top when I placed my guitar in it. Upon close inspection, the weld was very poor and barely attached the neck holder to the upright tube. The tubing is made from very thin round steel tubing that is maybe .025" wall, so don't expect it to take much abuse before it snaps off- even if it is welded better than mine was. Just folding the legs repeatedly back and forth will likely cause it to break or pop out one of light duty aluminum rivets on the legs- it is literally that thin of metal tubing. For $10-11 I did not expect perfection, so to it's credit- it is foam covered where it needs to be and has never scratched my guitars. This stand does have one other good quality- it is CHEAP! Since it was less that $11, I cannot see going through the hassle of returning it. I was able to carefully weld mine back together- but this would probably not be an option for most. The stand might work fine if you don't fold it up regularly and if you leave it set up- but If you need portability and durability- I would definitely purchase a better quality stand.

The guitar is so out of adjustment we are taking to music store to have them work on it and replace the strings which is adding $57 more to the cost. Hopefully that will fix it. The amplifier is much smaller than portrayed in the picture.

Bad product
January 9, 2015
The amplifier in one corner has a very noticeable scratch, the seller sent the bass in a box and another amplifier instead of sending all in one package. While the bass is handmade aesthetically very well detailed. The weight of the bass is not balanced, the neck is heavier than the body. The bass guitar have a sound like a buzz when is conected in the amp.

Picks "chipping away"... quality control issues?
June 29, 2014
I was very disappointed with the pack of "medium" picks I purchased. Perhaps it was a bad batch... the surface of the picks disintegrated as I used them (on day one!), leaving "pick dust" everywhere on the guitar. Even worse, the picks quickly acquired a "rough" surface on the tip, resulting in some inconsistency when picking. Glad I only bought a 10 pack!

Low quality Stand
November 14, 2016
The top part broke right off, (bad weld) tips over easily with my Ibanez acoustic bass. Get wall hangers instead guys or a better floor stand this one is generic. mine might be an exception but it just seems like it would be better for a guitar.
What an absolutely terrible piece of worthless junk
March 1, 2016
What an absolutely terrible piece of worthless junk. The base of the stand attached to the tripod was about 30 degrees off center. I figured it was just adjustable, so I tried to turn it and it simply broke off, revealing three shotty spot welds that held it in place (again mind you, EXTREMELY off-center). Granted, I'm also fairly certain the guitar stand I received is not this one that I purchased. The stand/packaging no where says Musician's Gear, but "ChromaCast". Regardless of whether or not I received an incorrect product or this is the right one and it just sucks, I would definitely not recommend purchasing from this seller ("Online_Bargain_Hunter"). I sure wouldn't call this a bargain, as I can probably find some scrap metal on the side of the road instead of spending $16. If only I could give this less than one star.
Skip this one.
January 16, 2016
I've bought Musician's Gear stands before in my local music store, so that is what I thought I was buying. This is not the same thing, it is much lighter and much lower quality. This stand is made of very thin wall metal tubing and had a lot of peels and shaving that were not cleaned before it was painted. The inside of the main tube has large patches of rust. The yoke that holds the neck screws into the upper tube, but they painted the threads so it won't fully seat. Finally, once assembled the yoke does not line up with the cradle that holds the body of the guitar. The stand and box is labeled "Chromacast" which my other Musician's Gear stands are not. Sending it back.
Poor quality, poor product
September 22, 2015
In my years of using Amazon Prime, I have never received such a disappointing package. Once I opened the package I found that several parts were slightly damaged. Once I began to put the product together, it was soon evident that nothing fit together. Had the product assembled as it was intended to, I would still have been disappointed because it amazes me how poor the quality of the product is. Either I have received a parts that did not pass quality assurance, or people who have rated this product highly are even higher than I am. I am aware that this stand is not exactly "expensive" and I don't and never expected excellent built, but I at least expected a product that would satisfy its purpose. This stand is obsolete. Buy any other stand, spend a couple more bucks, but don't buy this stand.
Very Unstable
June 3, 2015
Absolutely horrible. It arrived today and I could not believe how unstable the stand is in its design. The rear leg is very short and the base to hold the guitar is high enough that any slight motion on either side will cause the guitar to fall over.Another key issue is the warning that comes along with the stand."NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GUITARS WITH NITRO CELLULOUS LACQUER FINISH. THE MATERIAL OF FOAM MIGHT CAUSE UNEXPECTED CHEMICAL REACTION THAT MAY DETERIORATE THE FINISH."Not sure what the Nitro Cellulous is, but I am not putting my guitar into this stand. Finally, the product is not part of the Amazon family of items, so I must pay for the return. So bottom line, inexpensive probably means cheap and I should have known better.Pass on this stand.
Don't buy this if you care about your guitar.
February 11, 2015
Don't trust this stand. I have a $3200 Gibson guitar that I was putting on this stand and the neck cradle came off - the metal was just too weak and came off. I'm lucky I caught it and it the sharp edges where it broke didn't scratch my guitar.
