This is the best cable i have ever had. after 5 years it still works and it has been my go-to cable to play on my guitar and amp. It feels very sturdy and the quality of sound being transferred is very high. There is no unnecessary noise or unwanted distortion. The only thing that changed from the moment i bought it is that the color white part of it started turning to light yellow due to old age.If it were to break on me, I would buy it again! It was part of a beginner's package so it pretty much had the life expectancy of a fly on tape..When it arrived, I found that the new cable not only picked up the signal perfectly clear but, to my surprise, had virtually nonexistent feedback noise. I was not expecting something like that for the price but I am impressed and definitely recommend it to those looking to upgrade or replace alike! This One Should Last A LONG TIME!June 16, 2017 When you unscrew the plug cover on a guitar cord and find the terminals are shielded, that is a sign of a well made cable. THIS is a well made cable. The cable is pliable, the strain relief runs back a good four inches from the plugs. For under ten bucks? Buy a couple! Does the job at a fair priceMarch 30, 2014 This is a fine and inexpensive cable for practice use. The cable itself is a little thinner than I expected, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up under rough professional use or an environment with lots of electrical noise. But I much prefer the standard plugs on this one over the molded ones that come on many cables.When I first got it, one end was partially unscrewed. I'd guess it came loose during shipment. What the heck, just tighten it up. This gave me the idea to try using some threadlock (Loctite or similar) on the connectors to prevent loosening. After all these years of playing I had never thought of that before. Also, when it was brand-new I got some static noise through the amp. Unplugging the cable and plugging it back in cleaned things right up. This is a fairly common occurrence with plugs and jacks, often due to a tiny bit of corrosion or gunk at the contact point. The abrasion when unplugging and plugging back in serves to wear off the corrosion (or whatever) from the surface of the plug.Overall it does what it is supposed to do and is a good value. So Far So GoodJanuary 21, 2013 Hosa cable quality can be all over the place, some of their products are good (sound good, reliable, long lasting) and some of their products are not good (affect sound negatively, break prematurely, short useful life span).These guitar cords are actually quite nice, they feel good (gooey soft rubber jacket like Mogami), they sound good and so far they are working reliably, the rubber jacket is about .25" in diameter (by eye) and there is a short heat shrink overwrap to add strength where the wire enters the plug.I bought these when I needed cables fast for an internet concert, we had lots of pedals and signal splits to connect up. These cables arrived in good working condition and we've been using them continuously since.We have over a dozen tube amps and are very particular about sound degradation but so far these cables have not disappointed anyone.I would buy more if I needed them. | | | |

| You might want to look at another Bass.October 3, 2017 Decent Bass but even after bringing it to a guitar tech to tune up the intonation and to fix the buzzing on the 5th string. The 5th string is still buzzing. Very annoying and the 5th string is really not usable. the bass seems good..June 10, 2017 I bought one of these but one of the bridge screws was stripped... the bass seems good... better than you'd expect. BUT... the stripped screw, yes... it must be Japanese and yeah... I bought fender screws, no fit.I told Amazon and Tree Gear. I haven't used the case I hope it works... the stand that came with the bass is dangerous. Be careful when you buy...They said they would send me a new one... they can't get the factory to send a screw.....it's been two months. | 2 stars for poor quality controlDecember 28, 2014 2 stars for poor quality control.Guitar Center was back ordered on my choice of color- Mist Green. I rejected the first one they delivered cause it had a couple of very large dark knots on the Maple part of the neck- I was surprised that it passed inspection. The second one came delivered with a defective treble pot. The third one came wired in reverse with the controls installed opposite the correct positions. Looks like nobody is inspecting these basses at the factory in Indonesia. I strongly recommend that if you order this bass- don't do it online- do it at a retailer where you can check it out before you take it home. | Would not recommend. | Letting me down yamaha.May 6, 2016 The bass didn't even work, I put the 9v battery it came with in and even bought another 9v battery to see if maybe the one it came with didn't work. Still no sound. I tried to see if input jack was loose but every thing seemed fine. I didn't even bother and returned it. Rolled the cord into a loose 12" circle wrap after every time it was used (maybe 15 times) as I treat all my cords very gingerly.
