I used to eat Sunflower Seeds all the time when I was in the Army. It was the perfect snack. But then about 5 years ago, I tried the pumpkin seeds. I was instantly hooked. Now I only eat the pumpkin seeds. I just wish they were offered in more flavors.

These are the elite version of David's sunflower seeds. My parents love them, and I like them. While they are definitely more expensive, you really are paying for value. The sunflower seeds --even the jumbo ones-- barely give you any seed meat. These at least feel like you're eating something when you take that eat the seed.I recommend that you break open the shell and just eat the meat because it gives you a little something something that is unique from grabbing fistfuls of potato chips and shoving them in your mouth. According to LiveStrong: "Shelled pumpkin seeds, or kernels, are a mineral-rich source of unsaturated fatty acids and quality plant protein". So there's that too.

Salty, crunchy and delicious - but not TOO salty. I like salt, and yet some pumpkin seeds I find are just inedible if you want to eat the shell and all.Also this shells aren't too thick or "woody".So if you want to eat them WITH the shell, I'd highly recommend. If you want to remove the inner seed, that doesn't work well. I find the shell stick to the seed.

I could snack on these all day. Very tasty. However, they contain tryptophan, and 2 tablespoons of them make me relax and doze off. They also slow my heart rate, which is good. Research any contraindications if you are on meds for hypertension. Pumpkin seeds are beneficial to the cardiovascular system.

By far, the best pumpkin seeds on the market. The texture and taste cannot be beat and I have tried many brands. Though they are expensive, this product is worth every penny and I will continue to purchase them. Bob's Red Mill never disappoints me in any product that I have ever purchased. Thank you for yet another great product.

I discovered that in my 'hunt' for pumpkin or 'pepita' seeds that a lot of them are from China. I just didn't understand why someone in North America couldn't grow these?? I emailed Bob's Red Mill and the customer service department got back to me quickly with a reply to let me know that they grow them here in the US. :-) I like to support our local farmers if at all possible! These are of good quality as I find with most of Bob's Red Mill Brand! Thanks!

They are usually so pricey in stores. The Red Mill brand has always been a good quality. I am pleased with the product.

A little salty but worked until I discovered a different brand with light sea salt coating.

Delicious, but horribly overpriced.

Buying in a case is cheaper than at 7-11. They're full of protein and hardly any carbs and except for the salt, are the perfect snack.

I thought I'd try these. I found them quite acceptable. But, I prefer to buy them from a nuts and seeds store in my area.

Organic. Raw. Pumpkin seeds. Nothing more need be said here. There were a number of fragmented seeds--maybe about 5 percent. For me this is not a problem.

Gave these a try as I trust and respect the brand. Pumpkin seeds are tasty, just not as large or green (visually appealing) as several other USA brands offered here.

These are decent seeds, but I can't justify anything more than 3-Stars. While good overall, not something I'd consume for long periods of time, or have available as a regular go-to snack. The problem -- SALT OVERLOAD!!! A bit of salt is almost a necessity with such a food, but not at all in THAT amount. Looking for other, lower sodium pumpkin seeds.

These are really salty, which is fine with me, but others may found them too salty.

I like product but it was not 24 oz but it was only 16 oz. I think I was cheated.

While I'm glad I get these from Amazon, this last package had 3 stone like objects in them. Almost broke a tooth .Very surprising for this brand..

I have used Bob's Red Mill products for years...with happy results. These seeds...not so much. While I really love the fact that they were not from China, they were really tiny, did not pop up as well as some...lots of broken pieces. Taste was just OK. I do not think I will buy them again.

I enjoy BRM products. The pumpkin seeds tasted off. Not all, just a few. But enough to make it so I question whether or not I should buy again. I've only purchased this item once. I did try roasting them, as well and it didn't make a difference. Maybe just an off pumpkin made it's way in the production.I still trust BRM & would buy again before I make a stern decision one way or the other to purchase a third time.

Have used Bob's Red Mill pumpkin seeds for years. Always been very happy but my last order, seeds were very small. I hope this company does not cut the quality of the seeds.

Theses seeds taste ok, but not more than that. They are a little too small and hard to crack open. I will not buy these again.

As a big consumer of pumpkin seeds, I have always ordered and enjoyed Davids. Generally, when I get them from the supermarket they are always fresh and tasty, but when it comes to Amazon, I have had mixed experiences with them. The last two times I have ordered the seeds from Amazon they have come stale as anything. That is every single bad too, not just the one bad luck. Amazon is always great at refunding me, but I do not think these seeds are all that great.They are similar cost to what you can buy them for in a drug store, and quite frankly, the drug store by me they are much fresher. Stale pumpkin seeds are just not that great, so do yourself a favor, unless these are unavailable near you, buy them locally.

940 mg of sodium in 1/4 cup!!! It's like eating crunchy salt crystals. Trader Joe's pumpkin seeds only have 75 mg of sodium in 1/4 cup. These are awful.

Product arrived stale and tasting like cardboard. I don't know if this is typical of the pumpkin seeds but they're a bit mushy and nearly inedible. Didn't bother opening another of the MANY bags I unwisely ordered in bulk. I really enjoy the sunflower seeds, which arrived fresh and delicious, so thought I'd try something else from the famous David brand. Hope to rectify the death of several pumpkins in vain...

I love pumpkin seeds, but these are WAY TOO salty. Can only eat a small amount. "Good Sense" pumpkin seeds are much better if you can find them.

Product you receive will likely not have the statement "Produced in U.S.A." on the package like the one in the product photo. Mine did not. Apparently the company has removed that statement for a reason. Also, if you buy them, they are not returnable if you are unhappy with them. I won't buy again nor recommend.

Package had too much seed dust and debris. I have ordered these before from Red Mill and they were much better.

Sad..almost all are split and/or broken..washed out color..dry.. If it wasn't for the salt there'd be no flavor at all. I usually buy them (Not Bobs)at a local natural food store..they're plump ,deep green and really fresh/flavorful

Bob's usually has good products but these seeds arrived with the package open and 3/4 of the seeds in the cardboard box, not the package. The seeds were not whole but broken in pieces, even the ones still in the package. I wouldn't purchase these again. I think quality control is in order!

Taste really bad compare to Organic pumpkin seeds from Green Bulk, this one taste like its Burned or overcooked, A lot of the seeds are crushed or break into half as you can see a lot of powdery seed at the bottom of the bag, since i already opened it i don't think amazon will let me return it but its going to the trash anyway.

Pumpkin seeds were past expiration date. It was USE BY 7/16/2010. The seeds were off color, a pale green almost yellow. Returned to seller. 7/16/2010 is unacceptable
