Good for the money!

Great little compressor. Tank holds a charge for months, has not leaked at all. It is a bit noisybut what do yoiu want for the rice. Highly recommended!
Does a great job

this is a marvelous little compressor. Easy and does a great job and also becomes portable if need be. We Love it I will give it a ten
Great Little Compressor!!
May 13, 2017
This is a great little compressor for small jobs around the house or in your garage. You can't beat the price for this that comes with all of the accessories to make it functional right out of the box. It's the perfect compressor to have in the garage for any small job you may have that uses a compressor. Well worth the money and I'm very pleased with this purchase and the overall quality.
Portable is the word
January 20, 2016
Everything you would expect in a 3 gallon portable compressor. I bought it for portability, and it can mostly keep up with a framing nailer. Like almost all oil-less compressors it is a little loud if you're in an enclosed space. It does the job that I bought it for.
Great price, good product
March 16, 2012
I like to read the all the negative reviews before purchasing a product. After reading the reviews on this compressor I was a little concerned it might not do the job, but I took a chance because frankly I am flat broke and the price was right. I also knew if it was as bad as some made it sound, Amazon would make it right.

Some negative reviews complained about leaks: I have not seen this problem. All I can say is unless you get a defective unit and if you know how to put thread tape on (supplied), you should have no leaks. I can charge the compressor to 110 psi and if I don't use it, the next day it is still at 110 psi.

Some negative reviews also complained about noise: Yes, it is loud. However, it is no louder than I expected. The reviews made it sound like I would need ear protection to work around it. All I can think is that there was something wrong with their compressor, or they never listen to their music on 11...ever. :-)

I purchased this for a nail gun. It does an excellent job. I get 40 or more nails on a 110 psi charge and it takes under 6 minutes to go from empty to 110 psi. The light weight makes it easy to move as work progresses. After 40 or so nails, a quick coffee break while it recharges. A great little compressor and it is an outstanding price.

I don't know how well it will work for other types of applications, but for home projects, specifically nail gun projects, it is perfect. I am impressed and I give it my endorsement!

Well built. Great for small projects and torturing fugitives.
September 12, 2017
Great for torturing people. The 1 inch brads go right into hands and REALLY hurt but cause no lasting or life-threatening injuries. Get people to tell you EXACTLY what you need to know. Or build stuff like furniture, picture frames, small projects... whatever floats your boat. Hey, build a small boat.
Easy to use, doesn't jam.
July 14, 2017
We bought this to finish up some trim projects around the house. I had borrowed a larger named, larger gauged version from a friend for some projects and I liked this one much better! The other one jammed every 10 or so nails. I haven't had this one jam once. It's been perfect for what I needed. I expect a lot more projects in the future with this thing!
I was satisfied with it and thought I would try the nailer
November 18, 2016
I was looking for a reasonably priced 18 gauge brad nailer . I had owned a WEN grinder, polisher years ago , so the WEN name wasn't new to me. I was satisfied with it and thought I would try the nailer. I'm glad I did. It works flawlessly. One caution. There is an adjustment wheel positioned between the blue brad driver assembly and the brad nail tray. This controls the depth the brad driver pushes the brad into the wood. Try driving a few into a scrap piece of trim, if you are working with trim, and don't want to leave the driver imprint on the wood. Once I got the adjustment right for the wood I was working with, it does a beautiful job of driving the brad and not marking the wood
the best for the price

still have to get a stuck nail or misfire. driven more than 500 nails. the best for the price. shame that i can't find a 23 gauge pin nailer

update: absolutely happy with this. no misfires, shot blanks regularly though :) would be better if the nail window went al the way to the front. so you can see if there are still nails in de gun. searched for a WEN 23 gauge pin nailer, could not find one. what a shame
Great value. Very pleased.
February 15, 2016
My first brad nailer and I love it. Given the low low cost of this I was a little skeptical, but after using it on a project I am pleased. I made three drawers for a garage cabinet. The drawers are light duty so I used butt joints and glue. Brads were used to secure the pieces for the glue up. It's not a fine woodworking piece but it will do the job and I couldn't be happier. Wish I would have bought one of these years ago but before finding this I thought that meant dropping 100 dollars or more.

Very easy to use. Simple to load and very light. There are raised ridges in the magazine that help you add the brads in the correct location. The depth setting is easy to use and allows for fine tuning. Works great with Bostitch brads sold at all the big box stores so you'll never run out of brads. I have a 30 gallon compressor so it's tough to say more than the unit never cycled on. I would guess that even a small pancake compressor wouldn't run much with this nailer.

This is one of those deals that seems too good to be true. Maybe this won't last forever, but I could buy 3 or 4 of these for the price of one of the units at a big box store.

Hose works fine. Not a very durable hose but also not expected to be, and price is ok so no complaints. I would give 5 stars but I would hope it would be a little better built, I’m not sure how long it would last.
Convenient to have in garage.
July 31, 2017
Great addition to my garage! Easy install to wall (out of the way!) and very convenient. Definitely beats a rolled up hose laying on the floor or getting in the way or getting tripped over. Seems to be well made and working ok so faR. Hopefully holds up over time. Love it so far!
Works as advertised.

Bought this for my father-in-law. He mounted it to his shop wall and indicates it works very well. We used it to air up tires outside his shop the other day. It worked great.

Love this hose reel after fighting the hose for many years wrapping it around the compressor. Should have purchased one years ago.
Better than some brands
May 29, 2016
Works well but need to feed the hose in when retracting or it binds up inside. Hose appears durable. I had another brand and the hose started leaking several places after only a month. Sturdy mounting bracket and swivels out of the way if needed.

We've got 5 bikes, snow blower, riding lawn mower, go cart, wagon, and an old Town & country with aluminum rims that leak air... I was constantly dragging the compressor out to fill tires... it was maddening! I bolted this thing to the outside of my garage drilled a hole in the garage to feed the hose through and presto I have an air station just as convenient as the gas station!!!

Good quality, much cheaper than in the big box store, and the clip for the stems works great
December 15, 2016
This is an initial review. I will update it if anything significant changes. The product I received was as indicated and for a much cheaper price than the local big box store had them for sale. I used this to inflate all the tires on our Jeep without issue including the hard to reach spare. I really like that it clips onto the stem. No more juggling trying to hold the inflator in place at the exact angle needed to seal it. Thus I was able to watch the gauge while I inflated my tires. I like the pressure release button so I can more accurately adjust inflation pressures. The gauge markings are small but accurate. I needed a higher pressure gauge to inflate my truck tires, so no complaints there. I have three vehicles and three trailers, so I do expect it to get a lot of use. Initially, it seems up to the task.
Inexpensive, quality product that's FUN to use
November 28, 2016
This product is so great it makes me want to move some of my other ratings down to a mere 4 stars to illustrate the relative greatness. It only took a minute to install on my air compressor hose and then I quickly and accurately inflated the tires on two vehicles and three bikes. I was disappointed when I ran out of tires to inflate. :(

This should make the chore much more enjoyable when it's freezing out. Before I had a bare metal inflator with no guage that had to be pressed hard against the stem to inflate tires. This could be uncomfortable - especially in cold weather - and the process had to be repeated after checking the pressure with a separate guage.

Now, I just connect it to the valve stem (though it can slip a little if too much force is applied via the rather stiff hose) and the rest of the inflation is pretty much a one-handed operation which should even be possible while wearing gloves in cold weather.

Nothing like adding comfort and ease of use to the chore of keeping tires properly inflated for family safety and fuel efficiency.
Don't let the price fool you, this is the BEST inflator I've ever used
July 14, 2016
Quite possibly the best tire inflator I've ever used. The straight fitting on the hose end is VERY easy to use and much more convenient than the press-on-and-hold type or the push-on-and-throw-the-lever kind. You just push it on with very little resistance and let go of the lever. It holds itself on. This won't work on a SMOOTH valve stem but how often do you see that? The gauge has the right scale and is easy enough to read. I like that it's a dial gauge rather than numbers. The vent button is easy to use and in a good spot. The trigger allows for smooth, easy operation. You don't ever need to strain to press any control and they don't get stuck. It's easy to quickly and accurately get the pressure you want. The scale on the gauge is appropriate for tire use, unlike some where the scale goes up to 500 psi making 30 almost impossible to read accurately. This scale is 150psi, perfect for tires. Finally, the best part I discovered is that the gauge works all by itself without any hose or attachment. This means if all you want to do is check pressure you don't have to haul the entire hose and compressor around with you! You can check and bleed off air with just the inflator. And the price? This thing is WAY better than junk that's going for several times the price!
I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. Great tool, Great Value!!!
January 8, 2016
This has become a favorite tool for my wife to use. I was a little leery of purchasing this due to some poor reviews on the product when I was buying. I wanted a quality tire gauge that I could easily fill and read the pressure in 1 tool. This is the answer!

I've bought several of these to give as gifts as whenever anyone comes over and sees the gauge/inflator in the garage they express how they need something like that. For $12 (at time of writing this) that is a simple gift to give to someone.

I installed a quick release using a good teflon tape. When I say good, I don't mean the white stuff. I have had mixed results with that junky thin white tape, so I spend the extra buck or two and buy the Oatey Heavy Tape, or Mega Tape when I am at the store. This stuff costs $2 and takes way less wraps to give you a quality seal. If people are complaining about leaks, it's likely the junk tape they are using.
I've had this tool in my garage for a year now and it is used by both my Wife and myself. In MN when it gets cold it's time to inflate those tires and this tool makes it simple and quick when it's -20 and you need to get to work.
Five stars if you take two min to fix the tire chuck.... one star if you dont!
September 10, 2014
If you read the reviews- lots of people complain about the tire chuck not working properly. When my unit came- I had the same problem on my 2014 car. I couldn't push the tire chuck down far enough onto the tire's valve stem to engage the pin valve to let air into the tire. Tried on my other two cars... didn't work on them either.
I was ready to send the unit back for a refund- when I noticed you could take the tire chuck apart, so with nothing to loose I disassembled it by simply unscrewing the clip-on piece from the threaded hose end. Inside the chuck was only one part... a 3/16" thick soft white silicone washer that was responsible for sealing the chuck to the valve stem while filling the tire. It was also the part that was preventing the chuck from fully sitting down far enough on the tire's valve stem to push open the tire's pin valve. So, I used a utility knife and shaved about 1/16" off the washer so instead of being 3/16" thick, now it was 1/8" thick. I put the modified washer (with cut side sitting against the brass chuck base not outward towards the tire valve- for better sealing), screwed the chuck back onto the threaded hose end and gave it a try out on my car.
Well, now the chuck clipped onto the valve stem very securely and instantly/correctly operated the tire's pin valve showing me the tire's pressure and allowing me to fill it to the correct pressure with just one hand.
So a two min fix with a utility knife/razor blade fixes the tire chuck problem... permanently!

As to the accuracy of the built in gauge... it exactly matched my Joe's Racing Garage (known for their accuracy) analog gauge... both showed my tires at 37PSI. I filled them up to 40 PSI and both gauges agreed once again.

If you fix the chuck, this inflator's a steal because it's all metal and good quality.. if you don't... it's worthless.

Good Little Air
November 13, 2017
Great little compressor yes its loud but if you are getting this for nailing and staple gun those are loud air hose is terrible buy another one for this but other then that it works just fine. I've see reviews about keeping air in it and if you use tape they provide I have not had any leaks of air. The tools that come with this are nice I have filled tires and blown dust and dirt out of garage with this. For the price I think this is just fine for small projects and other small use.
Good Little Compressor.
October 30, 2017
It takes a little longer to build up pressure to full than I think it should since it's only a 3 gallon, but overall it's a good little compressor. I bought it for airing up tires on the truck and trailer when I'm on the road since not all gas stations have air anymore. My 2500 watt inverter runs it just fine. If you're looking for something to run air tools, this is not the compressor for you, but it will air up tires to 85 psi with no issues.

This Has been great for nailing brads. The reason why I did not give it a 5-star is it leaves a mark on your wood. I was able to get around with a piece of plastic and duck tap. No marks now.

July 9, 2017
Works well. Seems t be a quality project. Used it to build outside vegetable planters from pallets. Made the job of construction go a lot faster.
Good for the price.
June 27, 2017
It works and the price can't be beat. I did end up buying a new Bostick compressor that came with three different bran nailers. The difference in quality is obvious but if you are on a budget or you only need it for an occasional job, I do recommend this for the price.
Overall, happy with quality for price
February 26, 2017
This gun works well for trim jobs but not hardwood. The gun is not the right gage to go through hardwood. I was able to use it for certain sections and pound the nails in the rest of the way with a nail set but would not recommend it. Gun occasionally jams or fires twice but I think that was due to using it with hardwood. I found that when using it a lot I needed to keep it well oiled so that it did not misfire. Overall, happy with the quality for the price. Does not come with a case.
Great buy for the price
May 2, 2016
Great buy for the price. I've used this on different moldings and it works well. I don't have much experience with other brad nailers, but this seems like a good value. The procedure for loading/unloading the nails was a little confusing at first but other than that it works well.

Well constructed hose. Worked perfectly. It would be convenient if it were a bit more flexible.
Good quality hose for general use
October 19, 2015
I like the 3/8" diameter and I did not need a longer hose so this was perfect, except that I should have gotten one with a push on fitting to work with my compressor. This one has threaded connectors, so I had to purchase adapters locally. I used this to blow the water out of the pipes at my cottage to prepare it for winter.
Durable connections on a sturdy hose
April 7, 2015
This air hose is very solid, and has nice hardware at each end. My experience with cheap versions of these things is that the crimped connections at each end very quickly begin to leak as they are flexed back and forth a few times. After a few months of ownership, I found that this hose, which gets dragged around my shop at least twice a week is holding up beautifully. It's not the most flexible hose out there, but I I found that to be a pretty good trade off. The coating is quite slick and it slides around obstacles nicely.Everything about the item received was as described in the listing, an important point for me.
Great hose for the price!
September 8, 2012
I bought a compressor off Amazon which listed NO ACCESSORIES, so I got this hose to go with it. To my surprise, when the compressor arrived, it had a 25' coil hose! The hose that came with the compressor was thin plastic and only rated to 200 PSI, whereas the Campbell Hausfeld hose was rated 300 PSI. As I don't really care for coil hoses anyway, I was glad I had ordered this hose. The hose is very flexible and well-made. I holds air with no leaks, just like it's supposed to. With all due respect to the customer that thought air hoses should come with connectors: they don't. You have to buy the connectors yourself, no matter what hose you buy, and this one is no different. However, the hose feels a little sticky to me, like the plastic is just a little too soft, and that makes me worry about the long term durability of the product. So for that reason, I'm giving it only four stars. Great hose for the price, but not perfect.

Pro's
Love the long dongle with the air hose so I can keep the guage in my hand where I can also read it.
Really like the fact that it also has a release button.
It locks onto your threads so it won't just fall off.

Cons
Only one I can think of is no matter what i do i can't get it to seal with my adapter. it leaks no matter what, so i can't leave it attached.
I went as far as buying expensive Husky hi flow aluminum fixtures, used pipe dope AND teflon tape and still couldn't get it to seal. Tolerances are just too generous I believe.
A Man with Two Gauges Never Knows what the Pressure is
December 3, 2016
As my Dad used to say "A man with two watches never knows what time it is". And now that I have this pressure gauge I don't know what the tire pressure is on any of my vehicles tires. That's because I have tested this against 3 other tire gauges that I own and none of them read the same. I am going to assume that this one is correct. The "tire pressure' trouble light came on in one of my vehicles and with my other pressure gauges they all showed the pressure was correct. With this gauge it showed about 8 pounds less pressure so it is more in line with the sensors in my vehicles tires.
A great little tire pressure gauge/filler
July 28, 2016
I recommend getting the right connection when purchasing this or make sure that the connection fits directly to the air compressor line. I will need to get an adapter but I took it off an older air fitting so no big deal. It's pretty solid construction and makes it really nice to see the pressure as you fill up. This device limits the extra equipment required to accurately get the correct reading. Instead of having a pressure gauge and air fitting it's combined into one and makes it faster and easier to use. The quick realize tip makes a secure connection and is just that "quick". For the price and the ratings it's a no brainer. I would give it 5 stars if it came with other air connection adapter fittings.
Pretty handy. It's all in one and no looking for the lost air gauge or tip for the air hose
January 9, 2016
I ended up not being super amazed at this one. I like the G. H. Meiser regular gauge without the fill capability. This one: Accu-Gage H100X Professional Tire Pressure Gauge with Protective Rubber Guard (100 PSI)., Durable, easy to get the number you want and it seemed painless.
I may use the Campbell Hausfeld MP 6000 on a different project and love it but what I have for day to day work it doesn't do something right. Maybe it was the seal on the valve stem when you clamp it and let go expecting it to do its job. I saw the local tire guy one day and he aired me up. had a straight tip apprx. 6" long. He pushed that on a valve stem and then sat back to BS with me. Wow, it stayed on. I have never seen that before, only dreamed of it. And he was running about 150 + air pressure
Great inflator, sometimes difficult to get a perfect seal but overall I would buy this again, very convenient!
November 11, 2015
I recently bought this because I was so tired of the pressure your tire up, check it with a gauge, repeat and hope you don't mess up the angle and leak the air out just to start over again. I have had a pretty good experience with it so far. The built in gauge and relief valve button are very convenient. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because of a sealing issue I have with it that I discuss in con #2 below. Overall I definitely recommend this. Remember you will need an adapter to connect to an air hose as this does not have one built in or come with one.

Pros:
1. Very convenient!

2. Gauge seems accurate when compared to other gauges I have.

3. The tool feels well made. It has a heft to it that you want to have in your tools.

The 2 Cons I have are:
1. You have to connect your own pneumatic connector to the bottom. (This may be standard on these types of tools when purchased new but I didn't realize. Luckily I did have a couple of extra and some Teflon tape.)

2. I have an issue keeping the seal on the schrader valve. It will hold initially but with added pressure pushes itself off and starts to leak. You have to physically hold it against the valve. This is common on most inflators but with this one there is a mechanism at the end to hold the inflator to the tire with a spring powered "gate" of sorts. It either isn't strong enough or the overlap in the sealing rubber in the end is too much and pushed back against the valve. I seem to remember other comments about this but not sure if it was on this product or another. I have been meaning to trim the sealing rubber a little on the inside and try that.

Not much to say. They seem to work fine. I blew through all 300 of the 1" brads tonight and had 1 jam on my Hitachi nailer. I'd say that's a pretty good ratio. The jam, though, was a big one where it seemed the next few nails weren't quite lined up right. I don't know if that's because of the gun or the nails, but in any case, 4 stars it is. Recommended.

September 13, 2017

Anything but 2 inches
June 26, 2017
OK first things first, it doesn't take 2inch nails that well. I use porter cable nails and anything under 2 works fine, When i try 2inch nails i get a lot of misfires and they get stuck in the slide.
It will just shoot like a gun
July 21, 2016
Beware that this nail gun seems to have a safety issue. It will shoot nails by just pulling trigger without the end being pressed against a firm surface. No contact is needed. It will just shoot like a gun. Almost shot a 2 inch brad through my leg twice.
Works ok. Have had some issues with it.
October 7, 2015
First one sprung a leak after 3 nails. Second one works, but it seems to fire two nails often. One pull of the trigger will sometimes fire two nails. Perhaps that's normal for brad nailers, but my cheap Harbor Frieght 15 gauge never fires 2.

Overall, It's a very good price and I would probably buy again unless I run into more problems.
Seemed solid, however leaked oil.
February 10, 2014
Seems to be well enough made, however mine spit oil when I used it. It seems to be hit or miss looking at the reviews. Returning the nailer was quick and easy, however I went ahead and got another type locally.

Coat the hose in Baby powder or it will jam up in the reel
September 15, 2017
Mine looked to be repackaged from the non original tape on the box. i think the previous buyer stretched out the hose and just let it go like a tape measure due to the hose being all kinds of jammed up in the box.after fixing all that crap the hose still dident want to reel back in properly, it kept getting stuck to itself and jamming upluckily im a freaking genius and thought to put baby powder all over the hose to work as a dry lubricant. now it works perfectly fine
Good but one flaw
July 26, 2017
This product works as advertised, however, after using it for 3 or so months, the locking mechanism that keeps the hose in place once pulled out of its housing stopped working and it always recoils. I have pulled in every direction and speed yet is just gave up one day.

This hose seems kinda small. It also comes prekinked. I hope that won't be a problem.
Okay for the price, but not flexible enough
November 16, 2015
For the price, this air hose is fine but in my opinion it's too stiff and doesn't flex as much as I'd like it to. It's hard to roll the hose back up for storage and it looks like it would kink rather easily if you pulled on it. I guess that's true for any PVC hose, so I should have purchased a rubber hose instead. I'll probably use this as an extension hose and buy a more flexible leader hose so that I can manuever my tools more easily without feeling restrained by this hose.
Reasonable for limited infrequent use.
September 7, 2015
This is functional, but the retraction system is a little too sensitive. That said, once wall mounted it functions within expectations. I use this exclusively to inflate car tires, infrequently. I am not sure that with constant use it would hold up well.
worked well first 3 times and then....
October 23, 2013
The hose reel retracted well first three times and now has some problems locking the hose when pulled out. I have to wiggle and play with the length to get it to lock. It does not leak and thats good, the price is right and I use it for small things around garage, tires, blowing out garage, leaves and drying out boat.

Hose lock bad, otherwise great for the price!
February 23, 2016
Good item with one big exception, the stem lock is useless. It is supposed to lock the fill hose onto the valve stem so you can fill the tire and pay attention to the gauge. When trying to lock the hose on it doesn't hold the stem strong enough to use. Air constantly leaks out and the more you try the more air gets out. I tried pushing the hose on until the air stopped leaking out then letting go of the lock while keeping the pressure on the hose. As soon as I let go of the hose letting the lock take over air started coming out.
That said the gauge and fill works very good. You just have to hold the hose in place. Just slightly better than having a separate pressure gauge. Don't have to go from hose to gauge to hose, but it is so much better using one of these that works! Wish mine did.
Although the problem is small it is big enough in my mind to take it down 2 stars. Had the lock worked I would give it 5 stars. No it isn't as strong as a commercial air fill, but it isn't the same price either.
Poor tire valve stem fit
January 2, 2016
Product seem to be well made, but chuck that connects to the tire valve stem is difficult to get a tight connection - seems to leak air unless you push and hold it on fairly hard. I have another (Brookstone) tire gauge that fits the tire valve stem without problems, so pretty sure the Campbell Hausfeld product is the problem. The gauge is fairly accurate - within 1 PSI of the reading from the Brookstone unit, so am happy about that. Price is good and will use it, but not really an advantage over using a separate gauge and air source because of the poor tire valve stem fit.
I think this is a nice product and it works as advertised
September 21, 2015
I think this is a nice product and it works as advertised.
Having said that, I have several issues.
It came with no instructions and only by luck, did I discover the brass nut on the side of the handle is actually a pressure release button to adjust tire pressure if over-inflated. Who knew?
The handle comes with a threaded fitting that fits nothing. It is 1/2" x 3/8" and to use with a standard Air Compressor/Hose requires an adaptor which was not included and is hard to find. Most air tools have a 1/2" threaded handle that takes a standard hose 1/2" male thread, or a 1/2" threaded quick couple. I am not sure why the handle is 3/8" threaded, but I was able to find an adapter at ACE Hardware.
If the handle was threaded 1/2" I would give this device a 4-5 Star rating.
Buyer beware: This device needs an uncommon adapter to make it work with Standard Air Compressors and Hoses.

Overall nails work but it's the machine that drives the nails.....which is the Stanley TRE650 1-1/4 inch Electric Brad Nailer.....I would not purchase this product...do your homework and read the reviews. I am sure these nails will do better with a higher quality brad nail gun.

I received exactly what was advertised however almost all of the strips were broken up and the box was broken open inside the shipping box. Loud noise generator
August 1, 2017
This is by far the noisiest piece of equipment in my garage. It sounds like it could fly apart at any moment. It must take some unique technology to get such a small compressor to emit so much noise! I cannot recommend this product. Yes it produces air, but it is so annoying I wish I would have bought a different product.

Not so great. Won't fill take past 30psi. Extremely noise.
Doesn't make much air
December 11, 2015
Okay for inflating balls, but doesn't make air very fast. It is very noisy and takes forever to come up to pressure. Might be able to inflate one tire, but if you have several tires to inflate, forget it! You will be waiting forever to fill multiple tires.
Very slow to gain pressure, low capacity and low quality
June 12, 2012
It takes about 10 minutes for this to get to full pressure. Not sure why, it seems to leak air while it is filling, it could be made that way but once it is full it doesn't leak so I think it is just a very low power compressor. Use this for filling tires or small jobs but it will not keep up with air tools.

Once full it doesn't take long to lose pressure when you use it. The first job I gave it was to blow dust/dirt out of my mowers engine compartment in hard to reach places. After only a couple seconds of good pressure it loses pressure and I have to wait an eternity for it to refill. I know it is a small tank but it needs a more powerful compressor badly.

I would not suggest this product. Spend the extra money and get a higher quality product. Now I have to spend even more to get a useful product.

Would Not Fire
May 9, 2015
I've heard of WEN tools and they have a decent reputation. Everything was great about this product except after I oiled it and hooked it up to the air compressor, it would not fire. The amazon refund process is very nice, but I don't think I'll stray from my DeWalt tools again.
Disappointed.
November 3, 2014
I'm disappointed after reading the glowing reviews. I installed trim this weekend, and about 50% of the time, the brad remained 1/4 to 2 inches outside of the wood. About 15% of the time, two nails were fired: one went in, and the other stuck out. Pressure was always in the 80 to 90 range, well within the 60 to 100 recommended. I played with the depth guage, and nothing worked. Different pressure on the trigger didn't matter either. It's caused me problems with the trim, and a lot of additional corrective work.
... moldings) The gun it self is made and feels good. The performance is some what mix results
July 23, 2014
I have used this gun for about 1 month as of today in a professional way(2 to 3 day a week on trim moldings) The gun it self is made and feels good . The performance is some what mix results. Having used it with 1 1/2 and 2 inches nails it shoot fine except every ten nails more or less and the next one is left not sink in with the head sticking out, also it double shoots for no reason(not to may times but it does). For a home owner used this may be alright but for a trade person it is more inconvenience the it is worth it. I have and own other similar guns and have used them side by side and my others guns don't do this. I for myself would not buy it again.

Leaking Attachments

I have had this product for a couple months now. It is pretty good, but the attachments leak air when i use this hose as opposed to my other hose.
Easily Breaks
August 6, 2014
Bought this reel 13 months ago (of course the warranty is 12 months) and used this reel very seldom in my heated home garage being careful to control the retraction of the hose back into the reel when I was done using it. A small spring that assisted locking the hose in at different intervals broke rendering this reel useless. Save your money and purchase a better quality hose reel.

Center pin fell out after maybe 2 hours of use
December 8, 2016
This was a decent tool while it lasted, but that wasn't long - the center pin fell out. Really infuriating - the device was working fine, released the locking mechanism from one tire's valve stem and went on to the next tire and no flow. The gage was reading exactly the same pressure as the compressor's gage (rather than the pressure of the tire). The center pin in the part that locks onto your valve stem to let air in/out was just gone. Fell out, rendering the inflator useless for anything with a valve stem.Had this item for 17 months, and only used it only infrequently and only for car tires. I would estimate a total duty cycle of less than 2-3 hours.Looking for another brand, but the hose/valve stem locking part of almost all of them look identical. Possibly all made in the same factory in China!
Doesn't seal well, and I can't fix it.
January 5, 2016
I have the same problem as several others: the clamp doesn't hold the tip onto the valve stem tightly enough to make a seal. I had the same problem on my bike and car. I'm trying to jury rig something to get it to work. Other than that, it seems like a well made product.Update: I've spent too long trying to fix this. I removed the washer and trimmed it down, but I still can't get a good seal.Update: After trying a few different inflators, I've learned that this style of valve stem nozzle just doesn't clamp on to the valve stem securely. You always have to hold it in place. If you want one that will hold on by itself, you need to spring for the ones that look like this: http://www.amazon.com/GrimmTools-Digital-Universal-Inflator-Schrader/dp/B018TVL4Z6
Faulty
August 11, 2015
There is a little flap of metal that clamps down onto the inflator nozzle of your tire and this thing is so flimsy there's no chance it will last. It fell off after inflating 1 tire. Actually it's so small that I didn't even realize it and couldn't figure out why the inflator wouldn't hold. After carefully looking around I noticed it was lying on the ground next to me. So I reattached it and tried the 2nd tire with the same results. I can't imagine why someone built this thing & decided that was the best option. The rest of the assembly is fine. Too bad.
Great Concept, Flawed Execution...
July 17, 2015
Great concept, flawed execution on this, and repeated on many nearly identical products from other manufacturers. The clasp to attach the air line to the item to be inflated is hard to get to make a solid seal without much loss of skin off of ones knuckles, and causes my compressor to repeatedly turn on to replenish the air lost while trying to connect. Alas, the old faithful regular ball head end (no pressure gauge) is still the best and easiest to quickly and securely make the connection to a valve stem. A shame, as I've had good luck with other Campbell Hausfeld products...SUGGESTION: Put a ball head on the end of the flexible line instead of the current fitting; then one could get a secure (if hand held) connection and a gauge...
Works great, and nicely priced! - Edited -
November 18, 2014
EDIT 5/15/15: Dropping this from 5 stars to 2 stars. The gauge is not very durable AT ALL. It fell a rather low height in my garage and landed on the back blue metal side. I thought nothing of it until I went to use it next. The gauge is now at 40 PSI offset. Might be great for infrequent use but not to hold up for an avid DIY. Also, I was going to try and remove the gauge to fix it, but it's pretty much permanently attached, so I can't even just buy a replacement gauge. My wrench stripped the brass trying to remove it.---- Original Review ----Works great. Note: When pulling the trigger, air will flow regardless of whether the connector is locked on to the tire.To lock on, hold down the end latch, push on tire valve, and once firmly connected (you should stop hearing air leak) release the latch, and it will lock on to the valve. Then just pull the trigger for air!Great for hard to reach places. I use this on my motorcycles when the wheels are turned funny.
Don't be fooled by the 4 star rating.
March 29, 2014
The gauge is inaccurate reading much lower than actual pressure. To make it worse the higher the pressure the greater the inaccuracy. This could be unsafe depending on what you're inflating. As said by others, the clip on the nozzle that is supposed to hold the nozzle on the valve stem doesn't work well or at all. No matter what I did, I still had to hold the nozzle against the stem in order to fill the tire. Yes it's inexpensive and yes it can be made to work, but that isn't a reason to rate it higher than it should be rated. If you're willing to accept an inferior product because of the low price, then this item is for you. If you're tired of buying junk, and accepting mediocre products, then move on to one of better quality inflators.

March 16, 2010
Have not used the two brad sets I received yet, and may have trouble trying to use them due to poor packaging in the shipping box.The Brads are packaged in plastic press fit blister packs about the size of a candy bar. The packs were shipped in a 12" x 6" x 4" cardboard box with a piece of bubble wrap and no means to secure them from moving. The blister packs must have moved around considerably during shipping because both packs opened and the brad strip separated into anywhere from single brads, to strips of only a few brads, to a half strip of brads. I don't know yet if my nailer will accept very small strips let alone single brads. The brads themselves are probably fine as a product, but Amazon gets a "F" for shipping. Keep this in mind when ordering small parts that cannot handle shipping without being secured. Sigh.....

Not a happy customer...
October 30, 2013
I don't have a high demand for this unit, but do need it weekly for managing a non-profit's needs. It takes about 10 minutes to get enough pressure to use it and then takes just as long to build up as it's used. I spent about an hour this past week thinking I must a some leak somewhere. So I took the housing off and checked all the connections with soapy water. Didn't find anything serious, but retaped and tightened in one place where there was minor bubbling seen - connections are all solid now. Tried it again...no differences. Oh, and to those that may be wondering-- yes, when receiving the unit, I did as recommended and ran it free as directed to break it in.

So, did I get a defective unit --or-- is the resonance with other reviewers an indication to the product's quality and/or spec tolerances in key compoents causing to work well for some and not others? I don't know. Bottom line, shame on me for not paying more attention to those that had similar problems.
POOR PRODUCT
February 7, 2013
Bought this to replace a devilbiss I had for 20 years and could barely hear run, boy was I in for a surprise got to have ear plugs if you run this close by you in the same room ( I do gunsmithing ). And it takes like 10 minutes to fill with no air being used, you get what you pay for these days.It will work for what I am going to use it for after I built a wood box to put it in to muffle the noise For I only need a blast of air for maybe 1-2 seconds ever 2-3 minutes which makes it run constant to keep up so no way can I see it running any equipment like a brad nailer and keeping up. Just makes me mad that they cant build a better design with a little less noise.
very unimpressed
February 7, 2013
I bought this to use with an airbrush gun for glazing ceramics. The listing and the item itself gives 4 usages and one is airbrush.. not the case..
It is Insanely Loud, you wouldn't think you'd care but trust me it's barely tolerable. It takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes to charge up to 40-50 psi and after 5-10 seconds of airbrushing it's down to 10 and paint doesn't even come out it's so weak... I agree 120% with other reviews that the hose it comes with is a joke, I bought a nice rubber one before it arrived and was glad I did.
The hose feels like it would break if you bend it. The device itself falls over constantly if you pull on the hose at all. All around cheap. It claims up to 100 psi and I never saw it go over 50 and good luck keeping 50 for more than 2 seconds of use. Sadly I think you just have to spend another $100 or more to get something worth keeping. I'd only suggest this for bike and car tires. It wasn't even good for dusting my shop as the air runs out so fast.

The only thing this reel has going for it is the cheap price. But I guess you get what you pay for. From day 1 it was very balky to get it to retract. But the real problem came after six months of use. One day after extending the hose all the way, it would not retract, no matter what. I took it down from the ceiling and took it apart and got the mechanism unjammed. The spring must have unwound in the process or something because now the final 10 feet of the hose will not wind up.This is going in the trash, as soon as I can find a better one.Update: Get the Goodyear model 46731 hose reel instead. Fell apart the first time I used it.
September 17, 2016
This POS fell apart the first time I used it. While trying to push it down far enough to attach it to the tire stem, the really cheap tiny piece of metal that holds it in place, fell out. I put it back in and tried again but this time it popped out and disappeared into the grass next to my driveway. I couldn't find it even with a magnet -- perhaps it's tin and not magnetic? I can still use the inflator by manually shoving it down on the stem and holding it in place with my fingers. This hurts and will not be an option in winter when wearing gloves. The gauge is also not accurate when used this way. I recommend you stay away from this expensive piece of junk.
My first real Amazon purchase disappointment. Despite some reviews advising against buying
July 17, 2016
My first real Amazon purchase disappointment.Despite some reviews advising against buying, due to the clamp's inability to remain attached to a tire valve stem, I decided to try for myself. Unfortunately, those reviewers were correct. This clamp is poorly designed in that it isn't strong enough to remain attached as it is: 1. Too weak a spring to provide adequate clamping pressure, and 2. isn't long enough in the attachment to get more than several lines of threaded valve stem in order to provide enough clamping surface to hold. The tire valve core has a spring which keeps the core in place to prevent air from escaping after filling (of course). But that valve core spring is too strong for this inflator's clamp to hold, in order to fill without the use of additional hands to secure the inflator to the valve stem while filling- defeating the purpose of single-operator usage capability.I procrastinated on testing this before the return allowance time period expired, so now it's just a paper weight.
CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP
May 28, 2016
I bought two of these. Neither one lasted long. I am an adult male and there are no children in my home. This item is used strictly for inflating vehicle tires. I bought two because they were on sale and it's always good to have an extra. WOW, did not realize I would need it that quickly. Both of these stopped latching onto the valve stems. Bothe of the gauges were so far off that my one vehicle would not let me drive it till I took air out of all four tire and yes I know how and when to put air into tires. They were on sale and still I overpaid. I made my decision to but based on PRice and name brand. Campbell Hausfeld is (was) a reputable name. Apparently they have allow the name to be used on cheap imitations or they are no longer the company I grew accustomed to in the field. You could always Rely on them. NOT THESE. DO NOT BUY !!!
I like the continuous pressure gauge
August 23, 2015
I like the continuous pressure gauge, but the inflation connector is very low quality and falls apart every time I try to secure it to a valve stem. See attached pictures. I am unable to use it.
Not for "tire inflators". Clip-on connector is terrible.
April 10, 2015
Great concept for filling tires IF you have a compressor (and NOT a "tire inflator"). The input for this device is standard for compressor quick-connect type hoses. It is NOT the same connection as a standard auto tire connection; this means that, if you have a "tire inflator" pump that is meant to screw directly onto a standard auto tire connection, you will NOT be able to connect this gadget.Update 2017 April: Ok, I tried and tried for months and months to develop the "knack" for attaching this to the tire's inflation stem. I had this whole "twist of the wrist" thing I was trying to teach myself. It was hopeless. Then, when my wife wanted to start using it for her car, it simply would NOT work for her at all.I'm going to ditch it and try to find a good one with the "Universal Lock-On Connection" (the little plastic lever on the back)Also, I don't know if it's a coincidence, but this is the only device that I quick-connect to my compressor that leaks air like crazy unless you twist the quick-connect "just so". My guess is a not well machined male connection to the quick connect.
Two and Inflators and Both Defective
March 14, 2015
I rarely give 1 star reviews, but this one unfortunately deserves it. The first gauge I bought seemed to be defective. When the trigger was pulled it stuck in the on position and resulted in the air compressor tank being quickly emptied when the chuck was removed from the tire. I asked for a replacement from Amazon and was quickly sent a replacement. I used the second one for a while doing perhaps a dozen tire fills and checks on my F-350 and my travel trailers four tires. When I went to use it yesterday on our Town and Country it did the same thing as the first one and the trigger stuck in the on position. I realize these are not supposed to be used over 100 psi, this should not have mattered though as I only turned the regulator up to 90 psi to fill the truck to 80 psi, and was only using 75 psi at the regulator. I'm very disappointed in Campbell Hausfeld right now. I know they don't make the best air products, but I've had one of their 12V compressors for 12 years now and it still works great. Apparently their quality assurance department is now non existent. I attempted to use their website to get support or report the issue to see if they can make it right, but their IT department must be joining the quality assurance department on vacation since the links to warranty support and "contact us" were broken as well.

I think they will work fine, but I bought Senco to have an American made supplies. I am tired of exporting jobs. I have lost too many manufacturing jobs, and think we need to balance it out a bit. I will buy where there are fare wages, but if you are paying low wages, hiring children, contaminating with lead (etc), and polluting you are not competing. This is no where I would work so I will not buy it if I can avoid it. Will not buy again and will search for alternatives.
Not worth the price

Reading the description I thought I was getting a pack of 1200 nails of each size. Nope, this is one pack of nails with multiple sizes. The total is 1200 not 1200 of each size. If you're looking just stop by the HD or lowes and you'll get better deals.
