Five Star Reviews: | 79% Just Like The Original July 24, 2017 I ordered this for my 99 Chevy Suburban and t replaced the original just fine. This was about half the price of one I checked on at the auto parts store here in my town. Great replacement for the boat for much lower cost than boat specific filter July 6, 2017 Very happy with my purchase. I actually bought this for an Indmar Assault 325 engine in a Supra Comp ski boat. It's a marinized 5/7L V8 with multi port injection. I searched online for a filter crosswalk and this one was supposed to work for the application boat. Turned out to be a perfect replacement for a great price. Seems to be working well too as I haven't had any fuel related problems since replacing. I plan to stock a couple more in my garage to swap out every 50-100 hours. The exact parts I needed to complete the install of ... June 16, 2017 The exact parts I needed to complete the install of the fuel injection spider for my 99 Chevy Suburban. Thank you. Five Stars May 3, 2017 Item as described with prompt shipping. Direct replacement for my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. 02 suburban 6.0 4x4 March 26, 2017 Great item, replaced the original gf626 filter, direct fit took 10 minutes to replace. Good Buy March 14, 2017 Not much you can say here except that it is a fuel filter and is doing what it is supposed to do so far. | 92% This is it. July 4, 2017 After using aftermarket ones.. I can tell you.. this is the one to get for your ford 6.0l. Dont waste time and money on troubleshooting on them water in fuel sign and acceleration hesitations. Motorcraft all the way! January 31, 2017 These fuel filters fit my 2004 F350 Diesel. Can't go wrong with OE filters. I wouldn't use anything else. If you aren't sure when they were replaced, just change them. For the money, it's cheap insurance.Filters are one of those things that are hard to see the benefits of unless you have issues. However, if you have ever researched 6.0 PSD's, you know that they can be prone to injector issues. Always ensure your oil and fuel filters are changed at the correct intervals, don't stretch it with these engines. I am not a Ford fanboy, but I've seen enough evidence to prove that you should stick with OE filters on these but don't trust me, do your research. ran better and had better gas mileage September 10, 2016 Absolutely only use Motorcraft OEM filters. No aftermarket. When I bought my truck, I had aftermarket filters and after changing to these Motorcraft, my truck, an 05 Ford Excursion, ran better and had better gas mileage. Oh, if you are going to change them yourself, be prepared to get soaked in Diesel as one of the filters is located under the railing on the driver's side in a rather peculiar place. Enjoy smelling like Diesel for days. much better price that the Ford dealership charges November 5, 2015 OEM filters fit great and came with new o-rings for the housings. This is a much better price that the Ford dealership charges. Remember to drain the petcock on the fuel/water separator before you change the large filter. Also, donโt over torque the housing lids, especially the small one the engine, as the OEM plastic will crack. Great deal and just as described by the seller March 10, 2015 Great deal and just as described by the seller. If you own a 6.0 liter diesel please do yourself and your engine a favor and purchase "Only Motorcraft" filters for your engine. I am a Ford Technician and I have seen the damaged aftermarket filters can do to these engines. Two filter set for Ford 6.0 November 11, 2014 This product includes both the engine-mounted filter as well as the frame-mounted "HFCM." Not too much to say about either except that the proper o-rings are included and they are genuine Motorcraft. I replaced both on my '05 excursion. The HFCM was much more difficult - a 36mm socket is required as the confines of the filter area are so small that a normal wrench such as a crescent wrench cannot be used. |
Four Star Reviews: | 11% Should filter the fuel for a good 25K miles I guess August 26, 2017 It a fuel filter, take old unit out and install new one, exact fit, no problems with install. Should filter the fuel for a good 25K miles I guess, I change mine out at that mileage no matter what. This got changed out with a new fuel pump. What can you say about a fuel filter, if you don't know whats inside filtering the fuel. Working so far and I just drove a 1,000 mile trip without a hitch. fit my 1995 chevy s10 zr2 perfect, lines where just rusted so was hard to ... June 15, 2016 fit my 1995 chevy s10 zr2 perfect, lines where just rusted so was hard to get off i soaked with pb blaster for a few days then used a 5/8 flare nut wrench and a 20mm wrench on filter that worked for one side other side ended up using vise grips end 20mm because would not budge! Works if installed right March 12, 2016 The one for my vehicle is not painted black like in picture, and there is barely readable wording stamped on it. Be careful to read this and install facing the right direction. It is very easy to put on backwards. Too bad this isn't marked more clearly, but it works fine. Be Careful!!! March 23, 2015 Tried to install this myself, however the fuel lines are made of steel and were so rusty that it started a leak down the fuel line. I had to have a shop put in a brand new line starting from the tank, all the to the fuel filter. $310 later and I finally have a new filter. I bedlined the new line. | 7% They both fit my 2004 6.0 F350 as it should. May 9, 2017 The little one fit well and was easy to get to under the hood. The larger one fit well too, but it's located under the driver side door under the body. It was the dirtiest, I guess because it comes straight out of the tank. Both worked just as good as what was on my truck though. |
Three Star Reviews: | 4% Good quality. Wrong part. May 11, 2017 I double checked the application but it does not fit a 1992 Mercedes 190e I could make it work but I instead ordered the correct one locally for $2 less. May be a problem or not July 11, 2016 Shortly after installing I started having fuel pressure problems. My truck is a stock factory 1998 Chevy C1500 5.7 engine that runs at 64psi fuel pressure. AC DELCO fuel filter March 7, 2016 this appears to have metric threads on the fittings, I have not been able to find an adapter fitting for SAE to Metric at cost of under $25.00. Ended up using a different filter. Looks like it's powder coated black in the picture May 21, 2015 Looks like it's powder coated black in the picture, but when you receive it, it's not. Not much different from the regular filter, just 5 bucks more. Works as it should. | 0% filters January 13, 2014 way over priced for what it is it just a folded filter Its not even in A SPIN ON can |
Two Star Reviews: | 2% This looks like a good quality filter December 10, 2014 This looks like a good quality filter, but it did not fit my 2004 Chevy Blazer ZR2 as stated by Amazon. I had to run down to NAPA and get a new one from them. I Feel Ripped off by ACD September 20, 2014 The picture is either incorrect or the filter I received was the GF652F. The one I got is not black coated and looks exactly like the cheaper GF652FI spent more for the pictured one and feel like I got less. Used February 11, 2014 Product was in good shape but had clearly been used. It smelled of gasoline and you could see the filter inside has discoloration from something, which I assume was gasoline. It did not contain a little piece of paper advising of the dangers of replacing the filter. I have returned the item and ordered another. The second on I received was new and a quality component. Although I was not happy to receive a used part, since I am a Prime member, I am OK with sending back the used one for a refund. They would not allow an exchange/replacement so I had to order another and send back the used one. 2 stars for the price point and -2 stars for receiving a used part and having to drop the package off and wait for a refund. -1 because I had a weekend planned to work on my truck and I could not complete everything because I was not going to put a used part on my truck. | 0% Item numbers on filters do not match MOTORCRAFT box numbers December 5, 2015 I need to verify with someone that the larger fuel filter that goes below on frame rail is correct. The picture does not show other end of filter and the original one i was replacing is aftermarket NAPA brand and did not match.Ordered on November 23, 2015 Order# 103-7343752-1954657The Motorcraft large filter part ID numbers on the actual filter did not match the original MOTORCRAFT BOX numbers. The filter had a protrusion on both ends and not flat on one end..I did take pictures before installing and it did seem to fit into place correct when tightening the cap with no problemthe box number is FD-4616 3C3Z-9N184-CB but the fuel filter has an imprint on plastic neck under o-ring that is PA6-GF33, and printed in ink on other end is "0485"....which also does not match box numbers.......IF this is correct please let me know, and if it is correct and its just a product change by manufacturer, then the company should put a sticker note on box that says item number inside has changed to prevent confusion and questions..PLEASE let me know....If this is the wrong one that i installed on the lower frame rail, then please send immediately the correct filter so that I can replace correctly ASAP. |
One Star Reviews: | 4% need better Bot's picking things off the shelves June 5, 2017 did not fit my 1994 cadillac eldorado etc put it on and it must have been a bad filter cause my truck would not start February 7, 2017 bought it. put it on and it must have been a bad filter cause my truck would not start. had to buy a different one from the auto parts store I hate it not because of its quality but seller said ... August 6, 2016 I hate it not because of its quality but seller said it was the one for my application. 2004 stopped this filter and went to tank filter. they need to update their data. Compatibility check it not always correct May 13, 2015 Listed model compatibility for this item is wrong. Buyer beware this may not fit your vehicle even though Amazon's fit check says it does. I ordered this item for a 2003 Suburban and was not able to find out that it did not fit until after it was too late to return it. wish this was for my car,but its not even though they said so. not for any 2007 September 29, 2014 they said it was for my car and it was not for any 2007. its in the tank ,not worth shipping back still not bad deal though making the other part i ordered 10$ more, and they suggested to by this as others who bought the fps bought this as well, well guess what, they did not return it ,next time double check p/# | 1% I'm disappointed I spent the money on quality filters and they ... May 13, 2017 Not really sure how to contact the seller so I can at least post my review and see if they contact me. I recently purchased this and installed the filters exactly one week ago today. This morning my truck was pouring diesel from the top filter on my way to work. I found the O-ring had split completely apart and seemed to just be a faulty O-ring. However, I'm disappointed I spent the money on quality filters and they fail within a week. I had to go by a O ring that doesn't properly fit now and I have a garage smelling like diesel and a truck covered in it. I hope they will at least resend me the proper O-ring. Not very happy with it even tho it's the genuine fuel filter February 4, 2016 The engine mounted fuel filter did not spin correctly and it broke the fuel return stand pipe in the housing of the fuel filter. Not very happy with it even tho it's the genuine fuel filter. |
