This is the only wax I use, not sticky or gummy. Gives me shine and the messy look I like. It's not a super hard wax it's more like a pomade. I have used some waxes that were so hard I couldn't get them out of the jar and found them difficult to rub in my palm.. This stuff is perfect and buying in a two pack for $20 which breaks down to $10 a jar is a steal. Normally it's almost $20 on amazon and stores!

Same product I have been using for years. Works great, great price on Amazon. One jar lasts a very long time. I would recommend this product for short to medium heat styled hair.

I was not blessed with good hair. It's always been a struggle to control. Unlike many other hair products I've tried, this stuff works great. Just enough hold and it washes out easy. A little goes a long way. So glad my hair dresser told me about it!

I switched to this product from another "wax" that is literally twice as much. I was skeptical at first but this product works just as well as the more expensive product. This is now my daily use product. It's not too greasy and has just enough hold and texture.

This product lasts forever...like literally a year. You need so little of it. Just a tiny bit on your finger tips then smooth over your part and down your hair and just eliminates 90% of frizz after styling. Nothing like it! My favorite hair product and all three of my teenage girls use it too.

I've used sexy hair products for several years and they never disappoint. There are different ones to choose from, but this one is one of my faves. It lasts for months. Very economical, given that you only use a small amount. A large amount is not necessary. The smell is clean, and fresh. It's never greasy, unless you accidentally gob it on. Just don't use too much. You don't need a lot. This product can be used for FEMALES OR MALES. I really enjoy this product. You used to be able to purchase it at Walmart, but I don't think it's authentic there and more pricey. I wouldn't.

I miss this. It was the best replacement for this modern not too sticky but usually too smelly pastes and such. I'd say the graphic design was bland, the product was a bit crumbly, not impossible. Also had aluminum which turned out to be corn starch or something. Take that out and maybe it won't be crumble or have the world aluminum on the label. Some one needs to make a paste that don't stink. The Everyman Jack is unreliable, both in labeling, sometimes boxes mixed up, another design error. and in the amount of residual fragrance in the batch. There is room for this product if done right.

As someone who has a hard time with styling products that are fragrant because they leave my scalp feeling horribly painful and itchy, finding this product has allowed me a way to style my hair again without any reactions. I have problems using anything scented; no matter how light, scented products still irritate me--I have even had irritation from free & clear brand styling gel. I was absolutely shocked upon trying this that I had no problems with it. This product is very tacky and pliable and the hold is moderate. It gives the hair a nice texture and allows one to have a styled look, but in order to really create a hair style with this, I feel that hairspray is needed, because over time your hair will begin to fall--although you can just push it back up or re-style it with the product that is still in your hair (can re-work it all day). This product does not seem to be damaging to my hair--have been using for around a month now--it actually does not seem to be bothering the very healthy condition of it at all. I have somewhat thick, dark brown hair, and even with the product being white I do not find any residue left in my hair, even when I first put it in. When applying this to my hair, I take out a finger sized amount of this product and rub it between my palms for a few seconds, and with my nearly dry, very slightly damp hair, I shape it the way I want, starting at the roots. It does a good job at getting parts of hair down flat to your head and getting parts of your hair to stand straight up. It does not take a long time to work this product in--just a few seconds for each part of the hair you are working with--and it does not look shiny, it looks natural and well groomed. I find there to be no scent to this product, it does not even have a chemical scent from the products used to create it: there is no odor of any sort. The item came on time, packaged nicely and the product packaging itself is durable and nice. This is a quality product and I am very satisfied with it. I recommend this to others looking for something like this and who struggle with fragrance problems.

I love this stuff. It has just enough hold to keep the back and sides in line and put my 5" bangs up and back off my forehead in a nice natural looking quaffed hairdo. My hair doesn't look oily, greasy, shiny, clumpy, or stiff, it just behaves.I have a full head of fine wavy hair. When I get out of the shower I dry my hair as much as possible and comb it all down flat. Then I use a pea sized amount of this product and rub my hands together until they are warm, then I run my fingers over the back and sides of my head until they are sticking up, then I get another pea sized amount and do the same for the top and bangs. Then I comb everything down again. After everything is flat and tidy I comb the front up and slightly back. Every so often throughout the day I run my fingers through my hair to push back the forces of gravity.Other products can get the same style but I love that this one is unscented. I only buy unscented products. The fragrances, if not unhealthy, are certainly obnoxious. I will buy it again when I run out.

I was looking for a unscented, matte finish wax or clay styling product. I could not find it at a local pharmacy or grocery store because they didn't have section for unscented products out of HUNDREDS of types. All of them smelled like various fruits which is not what this middle aged man wanted. I gave up after searching through row upon row of brightly colored and over scented potions.So I took a chance and spent what seemed like a lot but it takes so little of the wax it should last for at least a year longer. It has no odor at all and now I can throw out that smelly, expensive hair salon stuff that a beautiful stylist talked me into purchasing.

I used to use the J.Crew "FIBER" Styling cream. This is not quite as nice to use. It is more crumbly and brittle compared to the J.Crew product; however, the J.Crew product has a very strong cologne smell that I quite dislike. This product once spread into the hair works just as good the J. Crew product.Pros:UnscentedWorks just as good as J.Crew product I used to use.Cons:A little more crumbly and not as nice to apply (very minor complaint)The one review I saw that was negative said that the product was difficult to apply, but I think hair wax just can't be applied like hair gel. I thought I might share how I apply hair wax.How to apply:1. Wet your hair2. Wet your hands3. Take a small finger tip sized amount and rub it between the palms of your hands (like its a cold winter morning)4. Keep rubbing until the wax turns into a cream which is covering palms and fingers in a thin coating.5. Work it into your hair moving your hand back and forth through your hair vigorously.This always gives me good application of the wax while still using a small amount of the product. I used to go through this stuff much faster when I tried to apply it dry and without "melting" it first.

It's really hard to find unscented hair products, and this wax is absolutely unscented. It also holds well and is comparable to Aveda's Control Paste minus the heavy scent. My nose and my SO's nose thank the manufacturer. Great stuff!

My son loves this stuff! It is hard to find in our area and usually costs around $20 per container. Much better price online. I would give it 5 stars but I do think this stuff is pricey for the amount in the container (and how quickly he goes through it😏). It is a little deceiving because the container is not as big as it appears. The bottom of the container is concave.

Holds really well but hard to wash out. Luckily it doesn't seem to effect my pillowcase at night. Takes a few washes to get out completely.

Works well but jar is shaped in a way to give you less product that you think you're getting as the inside of the jar is round at the bottom.

...he used 100% if the last jar I bought! Great product overall! The reason I gave it four stars is because sometimes it leaves flaky residue in my hair if I use it too close to the scalp. But it's perfect to shape ends or fly-aways midway down my mane ;)

I always order this stuff. It's light and doesn't turn to dust like some other products. I depends on your hair type of course. if yr hair is light not thin I would guess this is no Buenos. mine is thick long and kind of coarse. just like my hair. this stuff works for me.

Completely scent free. You really have to dig into this waxy paste to apply it to your hair. It does work for sculpting - very well.

I like this stuff. It is as "scent free" as I imagine is humanly possible to get. It holds my hair very well and lasts all day. I spike my hair so it works great for a dry/messy look. I do not enjoy the white paste color as it takes FOREVER to work into your hair before the color disappears. So that is a little annoying and sometimes (depending on how much you use) it can be a little hard to wash out. But the main draw to this is the unscented claim and it does just that! I would buy this again.

Got to like wax. Wax is on the hard side. You could put a wick in the jar. If you like a more permanent hold or want spikes then this is for you.

I think I need to give this a little more time to evaluate. I find it hard to judge how much to use and sometimes my hair feels waxy.

Close but not truly unscented

It's hard to mold into hair....tough texture, and it's white.... so you have to rub it in really good or you get white streaks. Other than that unscented like promised, and held hair in place okay.

It is unscented which is good but its sort of dry. Its not very easy to work with. I have a fragrance allergy so I have to use something like this though.

I typically use the similar product with 1 shine and 8 hold. I'm surprised by how much of a difference the 1 level of hold makes. It may just be my hair color (dark blonde) but the "shine" really just comes off as greasy looking. Not a good look. It makes my hair feel really greasy too and I have dry hair. I'll be going back to the other product.

It reminds me of "greasy kids stuff" from my youth. It is greasy and makes my hair feel yucky.

I am Japanese with a pixie cut. Looking to get some hold and volume. Although this product starts off like a wax in the tub, once applied to your hair, it acts more like a grease. Not what I was looking for: no volume and no hold. If you're looking to keep your hair smooth and shiny but down, this wax is for you.

I purchased this product for my son because of all the positive reviews. This product made my son's hair oily and within a few hours, his hair was flat. The product didn't hold my son's hairstyle. He has short hair and used this product to spike the front up.

I did not like this stuff. Very very hard and chunky. No real way to make it smooth in my hands, so chunks ended up in my hair. I really tried, but I could not work well with it. I can say that it's absolutely without scent/smell.

Difficult to use for me. Watery and crumbly. Could not apply to hair effectively.

Things I look for in hair product: unscented, easy to apply, easy to wash off hands, and hold/pliability as advertised.This meets two of the four: unscented and easy to wash off hands. I like that it's easy to wash off my hands when I'm on the go in the morning and I need to eat breakfast after I style my hair. I'm not the sort of person who likes to be "scented" all day every day, so the unscented nature of this wax is great. However, it's hard to dig out of the container and apply to the hair. It's chunky, and I need a stiff-bristle brush to even it out and break up the chunks. Applying it is just a pain in general because of this. Also, this feels like more of a stiff hold than a medium hold. When I try to run my fingers through my messy-looking hair to re-style, I feel like I'm making my hair frizzy and I have to put a lot of effort into it.

Arrived with texture of lumpy, gritty cottage cheese, not smooth hairstyling wax. Perhaps it was poorly shipped, not sure.

Make hair stiff as a board, UGH, even if used in very small amounts.

Not sure if the product i received was how it was meant to be. Since it came the same way the second time, i'm thinking it is. It's way too dry on it's own. Originally, i thought it was old product that simply dried out on the shelf. It's not pliable on its own. You would have to dig it out and mix in warm water and rub it thoroughly with your hands before applying. If you don't do it carefully or wet it enough, it will show as white flaky gook on your hair. Only thing i like about it is the unscented part.

While this product does not have any fragrance, it does still burn my scalp when I use it. I guess I have to look elsewhere. The texture is nice once applied.

It makes my hair so greasy! I'm not very pleased with this product! Wish I had never purchased it!

This product is so firm/waxy it can't even be distributed in your hair. You'll end up with white flecks of the product in your hair! The only way I can use it is to warm it in my hand first, then add a little styling gel to mix with it. Even then I can't use it on dry hair -- I have to have wet hair, put it on, and blow dry to essentially melt it into my hair.
