My jeweler recommended this to me. I was unsure of it so took a list of 5 different ones in and showed him. After reading the details he recommended this one to me. I couldn't be happier! All my jewelry looks so nice now without constantly having to drive over and have the jeweler clean it. (Saves me money too because every time I go in to the store I find another piece of jewelry that "I NEED"

This is the same quality a professional jeweler would use. it works perfectly the only drawback is that the water does not get hot enough while the jewelry is in the ultrasonic cleaner :( I don't think there's even a heating element in the ultrasonic cleaner which is really a bad thing.

Ok,This thing is great. I had read several bad reviews and was afraid I would get a bad one. I ordered an amazon open box used one. It came and looks brand new. Added the water turned it on and just what I was afraid of it leaked. Waited and used it anyway. Makes jewelry like new. Cleans the grease and grime from under the stone to make it sparkle again. When I let it cool I retightened the lid. Turned it on. No leak. Be sure it's tight the first time and you will be glad you invested in this. Has a sonic cleaner on the top. Tweezers to hold item under steam.Dries quickly

I bought this a couple of months ago after getting engaged and wanting to be able to clean my ring at home. I use it weekly, and love it just as much today as I did the day I got it. Sometimes, I don't use the "steam" function, because my jewelry stays pretty clean. It's easy to use. I typically leave it on my counter so that I can use the same cleaning mixture more than once.

Excellent jewelry cleaner 2-3 times a week. I've been using mine without any problems for a year. Read all the instructions before using and only fill the resavar with 11 oz. of distiller water with the accessories that are included.

Does a great job cleaning my diamonds, just like the jewelry store. It is on my bathroom vanity because everything does get pretty wet...It's a steamer.

Got this for cleaning the jewelry pieces I make in my workshop. I see no vibration whatsoever, but am told that is normal and it is working. So far, so good. Like the steam method, but be sure you read the manual and aren't using the steam on gems that should not be steamed.

My only problem with it is that it leaks quite a bit

Love having this machine it allows me to keep my LeVian chocolate diamond and peach morganite ring clean along with my other diamond and Sterling silver jewelry. It does emit water with the steam at times however I just placed a little bowl under the spoutNo problem. This saves so much time and is better than using liquid cleaner and going to the jewelry store for cleaning.

The old version broke and had to get a new one after 2 years. This one is more powerful and the steam comes out very steamy and not at all like the old one that broke. Love this one. Good upgrade to its predecessor and we use this every day.

First steamer I got for my small home shop and it didn't heat up. Little disappointing. However after contacting the company they immediately sent out a replacement which I got in a timely manner. The new one heats up very quick, and considering how small this steamer is does a nice job of clearing dirt and grim from the jewelry. If you have a small shop and are doing small jobs this is a great deal without spending big money on an at home steamer.

I was hoping for a little more steam pressure. I may not have let it warm up long enough. The design and construction is high quality.

Before this product, I had two Jewel Jet machines which eventually stopped working after one year respectively. I was in the market for another machine and decided on this one. I clean my diamond rings on a DAILY basis and it does the job well. I only use distilled water as recommended by my jeweler. Remember that you can only clean "hard" stones (i.e., diamonds, ruby, sapphire) and not "soft" stones (i.e., pearls). Refer to Moh's Scale of Hardness for your gem classification. This machine is well-built and a lot of PSI (force) to clean/blow away dirt. It has an on/off switch on its cord. However, there's no automatic turn-off so your machine can get very hot and can burn out if you forget. Overall, this machine is solid, much better than Jewel Jet.

It works quite well. Heats up quickly and has good pressure of steam. Have to refill it after a short use.

A bit disappointed. Does not get jewelry that clean. Spray spout seems to be clogged, despite being brand new. Will try to clean the hole, but should not have to do that.

Was wonderful only used it a few times since purchasing in late December 2016. Now working at all, plug it in turn on and trip the GFI switch. I need repair or return info.
Other than my unit not functioning properly I don't think its typical of the product.
Pros: Leaves jewelry looking new. Easy to use and load. Steam is a bit messy but no biggie.
Con: no easy or neat way to empty the sonic cleaning reservoir. Dumping it never goes well.

It defiantly sprays wet steam if you over fill it so if you only keep 5 0z of water it works well

Cleans metal jewelry well, rings and ear rings, but does not make metals SHINE. The literature on Amazon's website clearly states that. Knocks away build up of oils, and makes some stones shine again. There is a pretty substantial list of stones that cannot be cleaned with this machine. Costume jewelry is a big no-no. My machine arrived with a missing part and the light that tells you when the steam is ready to be used has never worked.. I did not make a return. Not sure how long I had to ask for a replacement, but it has been over 3 months since my machine was delivered. Several family emergencies had my attention. Not sure I would make this purchase, if I had it to do over.

The silicone washer inside of the resivoire cap is a horrible design. It broke after 4 refills.
Now it leaks steam. I have to turn it off when not using it or it leaks steam out of the resivoire and I have to constantly refill
POOR design for $200.00...!

So, the machine itself is in perfect working condition. Functionally there's nothing wrong with it, I just didn't see any difference in my jewellery after using it - it's still not clean. I'll probably just end up taking it to a professional cleaner. Bummer.

The stream is good, but not as strong as I would like. Plus it leaves jewelry a bit wet. I used it after my ultrasonic cleaner to dry of the moisture.

This is a okay product, but the required amount of water can't be used. You can't steam too many items at a time and there is always about 2oz of water left. The basket is useless it keeps falling off, and the tweezers aren't that great they barely hold the pieces of jewelry.

Loved this product at first. Has already a short in the on and off switch. will try it again.

Does not clean as well as expected.

It works nicely with good pressure, but you have to soak the jewelry first in order for it to work properly. I returned this and am opting for one with an ultrasonic cleaner as well.

It worked well but then instead of just steam coming out it started spitting out hot water instead of steam. It seems to be a common problem with this steamer & there is no way of fixing it. I would hesitate to buy it again

I bought this machine November 2014 after reviewing and researching a lot of machines. Within a month the steam indicator light stopped working. So I usually had to guess when it was ready. I'd usually turn on the ultrasonic and when it was done, usually the steam was ready. Periodically the steam wouldn't work. I'd empty and dry the machine, let it sit a few days then try again. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. Within the first 6 months, even though I'd frequently drain and dry it, it would start spitting out orange stuff which I figured was rust. Which of course rust on diamonds isn't very flattering. Now a year and a half later, the entire machine no longer works. I'm very disappointed, especially since it worked amazingly well on my jewelry when it was actually working.

Worked well in the beginning. I used it about 10 times and now it doesn't work!! When I plug it in, it turns on then off immediately. For the price it costs it's totally not worth it don't buy it!!

Cleans jewelry well but it leaks ALOT of water while warming up and when cleaning the jewelry therefore a towel is required under the spout to catch all of the water.

Seemed cheaply made for the price.

Worked great for about a year of very slight usage....about 3 times/week. After 16 months, it quit. No life at all. A good option if you need a steamer for about a year, but otherwise the money toward a more reliable steamer would probably have been better for me. Now the search for another steamer begin.

Received a used unit - very disappointed. The cap on pressure vessel was highly corroded and there was water inside. I am very upset as I paid for a new item, not a used one!

I even tried cleaning the same piece of jewelry twice in this worthless cleaner to no avail. It is overpriced to begin with but much more importantly it does not do what it is supposed to do which is to clean your jewelry. I put a very simple flat silver bracelet in this machine and it actually came out worse looking than before it was put into the machine to be cleaned. I put the same piece of jewelry into the machine to give it a second chance and it still looked worse than when I put it in machine to begin with.

Has completely stopped working. When I first purchased this, the plug seemed a bit tricky and would sometimes not turn on when plugged in. It now does not turn on at all. I have owned this a year and a half and wish I hadn't wasted the money.

Began leaking after a couple months of light use. No longer holds water. I think there is a gasket issue, would love to fix this machine if possible.

does not work well at all. save your money. I can do much better the old school way with a tooth brush. takes forever for water to get hot and shuts off to reheat after a few seconds

Horrible product. First one spewed hot water everywhere and the replacement wouldn't heat up at all. Do not purchase this piece of crap. I can't believe Amazon even continues to sell this.

This thing is a complete piece of junk! It worked for 3 months and then crapped out. I would stay away from this machine as it will only break on you!

Ours leaked after a few days. GemOro would not answer or return phone calls. I really liked the design, but I can't recommend what doesn't work for us.

Top seal leaked out of the box... Thing is a piece of junk.Would not buy again.
