This product has great hold, some reviews talk about the smell, but is fine to me, in fact is much better than Suavecitooo.

Great product! The scent is great! Not super over powering but very nice. The hold isn't super strong to the point that my hair was stiff, but enough that it held my hair all day and night. I would highly recommend this product to anyone! The price is also great!

Seems like a exact replica of suavecito to me. I cant tell the difference except its slightly cheaper so 5 stars from me

This product is AMAZING, i love it. it has an awesome finishing. its a strong hold but it allows you to mold the hair as you wish at first until it completely dries up. and the hold lasts all day. I totally recommend it.

I really like this Pomade.I've used both Suavecito and Layrite and has worked just as good as both of the mentioned product but this is less expensive.I also prefer the scent of this pomade to the Suavecito and Layrite and it holds great. Like others have mentioned I also use this product in my beard to manage some of the crazy hairs.For the price you can find a better Pomade.

Works great, the nice scent goes away quick if you are worried about that. Places my hair all day long and washes out very easily without any gunk left in the hair. Perfect for shorter hairs. I noticed if you use some water with the product there is a sleek wet shine that remains all day in your hair. If you don't like that then just use on partially dry hair. Recommended and is lasting me a while as you only need a small amount about quarter sized rubbed in the hands and evenly distributed to the hair. A little goes a long way so don't overdo it and us too much or you'll notice residue left behind.

I last used Floyds but couldn't find it on Amazon prime so I ordered this instead. Comes with a lot more product in the container. Smells good but I still prefer the fresher smell of Floyds. Suavecito holds great and washes out easy. It's a huge upgrade over the old Tres Flores pomade I used back in the 90s that took forever to wash out. Orale Suavecito

I needed a pomade that provided a decent hold throughout the day but didn't cake up or flake. I have a business cut with a slight fade and I need my hair to retain that professional look during the day. I gave Suavecito a shot and I am very happy with the results.Opening the jar for the first time, I was very happy by the smell of the pomade. It is a slightly musky yet sweet cologne scent that is not overpowering by any means. I hadn't told my wife that I had tried Suavecito and she said that the scent smelled really good, which is a lot to say considering she doesn't care for most cologne scents.I took a finger scrape from the jar, rubbed it in my hands and worked it into my slightly damp hair starting from the top. The product went on very well and was easy to work into my hair. I styled my hair with a Kent comb and was able to easily style my hair. My hair was left with a good hold that didn't make me feel like I have helmet hair. The hold stays firm throughout much of the day and if I ever need to touch it up a little towards the evening, I just I apply a little water to my hands and work it into my hair and comb it through. The hold naturally isn't as strong as the first application but still decent.The product is super easy to wash out with just water too. If you have a business cut and looking for a good hold I would highly recommend this product.

I must say that this product has overly exceeded my expectations. I had a friend who recommended this product as I have been using all types of hair product and it was frustrating as I could never find the right one. I would buy one and it would flake which was ugly and then I buy something else and it would either leave my hair stiff like concrete or super oily like a grease trap. But, when I used this product it was like the Goldie Locks of all products. It doesn't flake, harden, and it is not oily which is the perfect hair product I have been looking for. This is definitely my go to product for my hair and I definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Never used a pomade until my barber introduced me to this product. Now it is part of my daily hygiene ritual. It leaves my hair with a slicker look without being wet or greasy. What a cool product that I teamed up with a Kent Gentleman Folder comb for a nice look.

to keep it short and easy; this is, hands down, the best pomade I've used in this price range. Honestly, I'd say it's comparable to brands in (much)higher price ranges. Great smell, and a good hold that keeps your hair in place, without hardening it or leaving you feeling goopy. It also eliminates my frizz, tames my curls, moisturizes my hair, and gives it that "nice, healthy shine".

Fantastic hair product. Large size lasts a long time. I have thick heavy hair and this keeps it held tight without the white residue or stickiness aftermath. I wear a faux hawk and it keeps it solid. quick rinse in the shower and hair feels like it never had product in it.

I believe Got2B was causing my hair to thin, so hopefully this stuff reverses that. But even if it doesn't, this stuff is better. The hold is almost as strong (plenty firm) and can be adjusted later. If it gets messed up, I just take a comb and fix it - no problem, and no white flakes. It smells really great, and my hair isn't crunchy anymore, which my girlfriend likes. When I wash it out of my hair, it leaves it quite soft. It took a little practice to learn how to use it properly, but I've got it figured out now.

Suavecito is amazing. I love their pomades and products. They are a local company, and their headquarters are about 15 minutes from my home. I like supporting local business, and they offer wonderful products. The Firme Hold is great for my hair, however even the standard hold works well. I love the scent of the original formula, but they also have seasonal scents that are great too! I have used quite a few different pomades and Suavecito is by far my favorite so far. It holds all day, and washes out easily. I don't see myself switching brands anytime soon!

I have fairly thick but fine hair; and every pomade to date either simply doesn't work, made my hair greasy, or was SO waxy that it required a mug warmer to use. I bought a can of this stuff based simply on the reviews it garnered, and I haven't been displeased so far. It holds my hair like concrete even during some standard Missouri windstorms, yet doesn't leave it greasy. The *only* possible complaint is that it may leave the hair a bit 'hard,' but it's kind of hard to have it all. It works great, my hair stays put, and that's what I want. :)

Great customer service! I had been looking for hair product for a very long time. I have always had issues with gel flaking up in my hair, and hair spray making it hard as a rock. I tried suavecito for the very first time today since I just got my haircut and I LOVE IT. I have very difficult hair because of its extreme thickness, and sauvecito held it up through the day and work without a single problem. My hair is still soft and managable and the best thing is NO FLAKES! I love suavecito and I plan on buying again and again

I've stopped using gel since middle school and ever since then never really bought any hair products but this pomade is something I should've bought long time ago. It smells great and leaves my hair how I want it to be. Thanks very much I recommend it!

I have been suavecito for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it. I have thick islander hair and I work in the Casino industry so I have to look presentable and the only product that does the trick the way I like it is suavecito. I love the product and the smell of it is a great.

i like the scent, not as strong. unfortunately, the hold also isn't as strong as i want it to. and its somewhat had soften by the end of the day. unlike the suavecito which can stay fixed and hard for a longer time. still liked it though

I have thick, wavy hair so I need at times a lot of product or a really strong product. With Nature Hue I do not need a lot and it holds my hair in place. This works great!

Smells great, has a very manly scent to it. The smell is also very strong though, be forewarned people around you will definitely be smelling your hair when you are in a couple feet proximity.Has a good hold though not the best I have used. Ended up having a lot of strays poking out around my part throughout the day - which isn't abnormal for a decent pomade, but isn't the best.Application is very easy and comes out just as easily.

Good stuff, overall. Solid hold without any shine whatsoever. Keeps hair looking completely natural. Washes out easily.Don't buy in that it's a substitute for wax, though, as the marketing would have you believe. It's not nearly as strong as wax.

I'm a white male and I have a very, very, very dry and thick hair and trust me I've used everything, from home made oils, cheap wholesale gels to $50 hair products. It's impossible to manage it. So if you have thin or oily hair, don't need to read the rest of this comment.For this exact product, well.... it's complicated. It definitely does the job, it holds my hair the way I wanted all day long and I can just spray some water and re-style it HOWEVER it certainly is not a product that gives a shiny look. I watched on youtube people using it and it shines but on me, NO, NO WAY. Besides that I don't believe that there is a stronger pomade than this. If you blow dry your hair, it'll look amazing, but not shiny. This product is one of the best I've ever tried. you should have this.

Let's get the negative out of the way. This stuff does not smell good when first applied. You're going to put it into your hair and think,"!@#$ me, what have I bought?"The good news is that smell fades after, I dunno, 20 or 30 minutes? It holds well and washes out easily in the shower -- something I cannot say for the AXE products.

I love this pomade! I've tried a lot of pomades, some petroleum based and some water based. I love the hold and look of the petroleum based, but getting it out is a PAIN!After trying lots of water based pomades, Suavecito is know the one I buy over and over again. I usually keep both the regular and firme on hand. It goes in my hair easy and comes out even easier. For my hair style, I find that adding it to my slightly damp hair and then styling works best for me and gives me the sheen I like. I get a great all day hold and don't even bother carrying a comb with me. The only down side of going with the water based pomade for me is that if you live in a rainy climate (like I do!) then a good rain can be disasterous for your hair. I've never had much luck re-style my hair with water based pomades, so if it looks like it is raining I do what I can to protect the hair.The only reason I didn't give Suavecito 5 stars is because I'm not really a huge fan of the scent. It isn't terrible by any means, but I would prefer a "fresher" or "tropical" scent. Suavecito has more of an Old Spice scent. I don't find the scent too overpowering though, so it doesn't deter me from buying again.I would definitely recommend trying this product if you are on the fence or just looking for a new pomade to try.

So I just started getting into pomade a few weeks ago and this is by far my favorite. I originally started with American Crew but due to is medium hold, my curly hair started to go to its natural shape and I couldn't find a stronger hold from this brand. Enter this one that I originally borrowed from my brother. My hair is fine and curly so this holds it nicely and doesn't add too much weight and I get good volume and the smell is great. I only need about half to a three quarters of a fingertip to get a good hold. It's also easy to brush later in the day and maintains the shape and hold you would want. Shine isn't really my thing but this gets some shine to a matte with my hair. I also took off a star because it does tend to garden and clump sometimes. Other than that, I really recommend this.

I decided to grab me a little tub as an add on to an order.I typically wear a pompador most days. Black, shiney, slick.... or I try anyway.I have used Murrys orange can for years which I like enough but it's difficult to completely wash out and leaves your hair sticky when it's cold and greasey when it's hot. That said the hold is amazing and the 3~4$ can lasts a while.I am always pn the look out for alternatives. Currently I am using Magic Sporting Waves which I really like. The Sporting Waves washes out so much easier than the Murrays and yet retains the reworkability that I like in pomades.So the Suavectito.... well it arrived quickly. The can is cool looking. I open it up and it's a clear and rather pretty deep amber. Smell is very nice.So yeah... it's pretty much hair gel. It works well, just like a gel and hardens like a gel. It doesn't feel like a pomade to me though. I'm not digging that it hardens like a gel. That said for gel it's fine gel. Not flakey, holds well enough.But it is not really what I would consider a pomade.The can looks pretty bicthin on the counter though and maybe sometime I may need a product more like a gel but I think I will be sticking with the Magic most days.

Con: It does what it's designed to; style your hair and hold it in place the way you want it. My disappointment with this product at the end of the day, is that, the hold isn't "Strong" at all. It's should really be labelled "Medium" hold or even less than that.Pro: On the plus side, this Pomade goes on clean, makes your hair shiny, and overall doesn't leave much residue. Easy to clean off, just rinsing your hair. You might need to apply a lot more to get a stronger hold.

This is a good price to quality ratio product. It's not my favorite I've used, but it's pretty effective. You have to use only the right amount, because too much of this stuff will harden like gel. It's a stronger hold than most pomades. But if used right, it's good stuff and reactivates easily. Also is very easy to wash out in the shower.

I have used countless different gels, waxes and creams with lack luster results. This stuff is great! I'm not saying it's the best out there but for the price it's a good product. I have very thick hair and I am male. It works great for me and keeps my hair in place all day. It doesn't make your hair crunchy and it's easy to get off your hands and out of your hair. Others have complained about the smell, I don't find it to be a problem. It does have a scent but it's not that strong and if no one would have brought it up I would have never really noticed. Now they might be using a large amount of the product which I could see might create a stronger odor. If you are the average guy that just likes his hair to stay in place I would give this a shot. I really like it.

The hold on this pomade is probably some of the best I've found. I have very thick and it never cooperates with what I want to do. However, this pomade had enough hold to allow me to do what I want.The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the fragrance reminds me of old school after shave. It's not overly pleasant, but it's not terrible. However, if you're a younger guy, not sure how this will help in your dating game.

My hair is thick, naturally wavy and tends to have frizzy flyaways when using a water based pomade. No mater if I blowed dried it straight and used a pomade like American crew, within an hour it would lose shape and fall out of place.The thing that is great about this is it's thick and sticky/firm. Using a comb, I was able to drag it through from scalp to top of the hair, pinning it down in place, and it stays smooth and looks slick for the rest of the day.The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because after about 30 minutes, it tends to dry hard, like a hair gel. This doesn't seem to be a problem, but if you want a pomade that is flexible during the day, meaning you can change it up, this may not be for you.All in all solid pomade and great for the price. It even smells great too!

Very good pomade. It holds well and smells good. For me, it smells like Irish Spring bath soap. I can put a generous amount of this in my hair (because I have thick hair), and it lasts a couple of days if I don't wash it out. When ready to wash it out, you just need a little bit of shampoo to lather in, and it comes out easily in the shower. The only downside to Suavecito Firme Hold is that the shine does it provides does not last too long. If it were high shine, this would be my perfect pomade. I will buy more of this when I run out of it because it keeps my hair in place better than other products, plus the price is reasonable. When I wake up in the morning with Suavecito Firme Hold in my hair, it's still mostly in place. All I have to do is wet my hair and reshape it. Larga vida Suavecito!

Kind of sticky. Doesn't feel clean. It's alright and I use it, but not the best thickener.

Not as great as suavecito or layrite but it does the job. I think a little more product is required. Sometimes i find it leaving my hair a little greasy.

This is the cheapest pomade I've ever used and it shows, package is definitely a suavecito knock off. The pomade is very thick and hard to manage but it does take a lot less then a normal serving to style your hair which is a good thing I guess, value, but you have to work a lot more to get your hair right.

This product leaves your hair dry and kinda stiff unlike similarly marketed pomades. i found that if your hair gets messed up you can't just comb it back like you could with other products.

I couldn't stand the smell so I returned it. As far as I could tell worked well except for the smell.

I prefer this version to the firme because it does not get as crunchy. Still not what I'm looking for (hold without crunch). It's okay but you can get almost the same results with gel at half the price.

Does the job. Cheaper than Layrite - but I don't think I'll be back...a little too much scent for me.

Bought this for my sons to use on their hair. It has a strong fragrance which isn't too pleasing, but my boys seem to like using it. I probably won't buy it again as I've noticed it doesn't hold their hair in place for very long.

After reading rave reviews for Suavecito, I decided to give it a try. The smell is very strong... It smells good, but it is overpowering, in my opinion. This water based pomade is easy to use and apply to your hair, but it won't straighten out any waves and the hold isn't as strong as I was expecting.Overall, if you have shorter hair this product will probably do the trick, but if you have longer hair and are looking to style your hair as a pompadour, etc, I recommend you look to something stronger. I really like Goon Grease, but to each their own.

The product itself is great, holds my hair in place for the entire day. I have wavy/curly hair which gets relaxed often. They helps maintain the style I like until another relaxing is needed.The pomade dries quickly and even once it dries, I can still style my hair, giving it more volume and smoothing out all the parts that clump together. I'm not too fond of the smell, in my opinion it's far from subtle. I've had people complain my "cologne" is too strong. I'd agree if it wasn't a hair product, and having that smell just above my nose can get a little overwhelming throughout the day. I guess it all comes down to smell sensitivity, but for me it's just too strong.

Good, just sometimes when I sweat or if I am in the sun, the pomade somewhat 'loosens' up and doesn't give a solid look. Maybe because my hair is thick, its more for people with thinner hair

felt bit old than fresh and new. I have order it before in their website and it came smooth and soft but I order last old on amazon. it came very hard like it was an old one that's be in stock for a while

Leaves your hair chunky and hard. Ive been using two alternatives to this: Axe "Clean Look" Pomade (~$9 a container) and Pete and Pedro Pomade (AMAZING but expensive at (~$20 a container). I tried Suavecito for about a month or so and just couldnt get my hair to feel good even halfway through the day, even though it usually looked pretty good.

This product works just like any other product out there. I have thick-medium length hair and this stiff only holds my hair for about 2-3 hours. I have to combo it with hairspray for that extra hold.

This is my go-to pomade that I've been using it for a couple of years now. It has a strong hold, is easy to wash out, and the price is great for the quality. I don't see myself switching anytime soon. Highly recommended!Edit: One or two days after I wrote this review I went to purchase a new jar and the price had raised almost $2....this means that in the in the 2ish years since I started using this product the price has risen almost $5. It's still a good product but I'm not sure if the value is there anymore, I'm going to try Imperial this time around which isn't much more money for 6oz.

When I bought this I was just looking for something else to style my side part comb over. Just something else That I could use besides my Axe clean cut look pomade. Suavecito just seemed cool so I decided to try it and this is what I found:It seems to be rather strong vs the Axe and thus that could either be a bad or good thing for me it was towards the bad. since my hair combs easily into my style already, suavecito made it look like longer and pointer vs smooth and clean cut. It made it look like too straight and flat. The hair was just harder overall.Also the smell was good at first but after an 8 hour day it just took its toll on me.Overall suavesito firme hold is more for people who's hair is harder to style and thus need a strong grip. For me It doesn't achieve a smooth look therefore ill still use it occasionally but I will still stick to my Axe clean cut look pomade

The first can was alright it's basically an suavecito knockoff. The second can must have been a bad mix it was all kind of discolored, smelled weird its now my official back-up to the back-up can.Bad enough for me not to bother with it again.

This is the only pomade i have ever used, that begins to flake every time.

I bought this pomade because my usual Suavecito is getting more and more expensive as it becomes more popular. This is clearly a Suavecito knockoff brand and acts like one too. The hold is more like gel, it gets crusty but if you touch and or move your hair, it completely loses its hold.

Budget version of Sauvecito. Gets the job done but smells worse and feels weirder. Spend the few extra to get the good stuff

One whiff of this pomade and I just screwed the cap back on. The smell stayed in my nose for hours. Old Spice and Axe come to mind. I will just stick with good old Layrite. I don't even know why I tried something else.

This is the most mediocre "pomade" that I have used, and I wouldn't even call it that. It's a gel, plain and simple. It also doesn't wash out as easily as the label claims, which drives me mad because I hate having the smell transfer to my pillow cases even after washing my hair 3 times. From using other much better pomades such as Anchors, I've gotten used to the idea of not having hard crunchy gel hair, which makes suavecito my last choice out of all of my pomades. I've used it maybe 2 or three times since buying it 2 years ago.

Product performs just fine, but the perfume smell in unbearable. No need to add perfume to a hair product - I can apply my own perfume if desired.

The scent was so overpoweringly bad that I was forced to return it. If you are looking for a light or mildly scently scented pomade, this is not the product for you.

I guess it works alright, BUT it stinks like cheap old spice or axe. The smell puts me in a bad mood. They should deliver it in the back pocket of some bedazzled jeans.

I have to say I'm not impressed. The reviews had me excited, but this stuff just doesn't do it for me. I had grown to like my Crew Pomade, but it was so expensive, and I had to use a lot of it to hold my hair in place effectively. This stuff makes my hair crunchy... kind of feels like it has hairspray in it. When my hair gets out of place during the day I can't run my hand through my hair to put it back in place. With this pomade I have to re-wet my hair to restyle. Very annoying. So far it seems like I can get decent volume out of my hair with this, and it does look decent... just doesn't shine as much as Crew or Teddy Boy. I'm excited to buy something else. This was a waste of money. I hate crunchy hair.

Been using D:Fi products for years and wanted to switch it up. This product is very thick and difficult to spread on your hands and work into your hair. I find it leaves my hair very dry.

I usually use American Crew pomade and I thought I would try this stuff since it's cheaper and has good reviews. However, I really don't like it. The smell is fine and it feels nice but once it's in your hair is gets hard, much like hair gel, not like a pomade...maybe that's because it is the extra hold version? but if you like your hair to not be crunchy, don't buy this stuff.

I have heavy thick hair that gets wavy the longer it gets.This product was too crunchy and the smell was over powering for the amount I had to use to tame my hair. I felt this product actually worked better when it was left in my hair the day after applying. Not for me.... went for a water based clay instead.

It's supposed to have a strong hold. It doesn't, it lasts probably 5 minutes and then your hair flies around like there is nothing on it. I've tried applying it in different ways and different quantities, it just doesn't do it's job very well.

Hold is pretty good for the first few hours. Don't like the smell at all. Looks like frozen coca-cola jelly.

I think they mixed up the strong hold and regular hold. The container reads strong hold, but the pomade itself is regular hold. It's the s come one that I've gotten it like that. The other one was from a store. Maybe suavecito isn't making them as concentrated as before..?

Not sure how this has so many good reviews. I am literally breaking teeth off my comb trying to comb this in....doesn't matter if my hair is wet, damp, or dry. It smells good, but its impossible to work with.

My husband likes it but I was broken when I opppened the box, box was in a good condition.

The jar was open in the package and it looked like someone put their finger in it.

Worst Pomade I have ever had could not get it to style my hair have FlyAway hairs I would never suggest this product or ever use it again only thing good about it was had a good scent

Used this for about a week on my pomp fade. I will be going back to something with real hold and dry look like Tea Tree. It's a pain to wash out but at least it is a real pomade. This is like a gel.Hold:Deplorable. Where is all this GREAT hold I keep hearing about??? I have thick, wavy hair. I know what good hold is. If I put this in my hair dried or even damp, it does basically nothing. I need to have my hair pretty dang damp in order for this to provide hold, and even then, I need to use a lot of it. Pomade on wet hair will provide an undesired, artificially shiny look.Texture:CRUNCHY HAIR. Biggest turn off for a lot of ladies. Thankfully it does wash out easily, one wash. That's a pro here.Shine:Low to moderate, if you can get away with using it on dry hair. I cannot. As above, must use on wet hair or else it doesn't hold.Scent:The best part about this product. Mild, neutral. Kind of like another reviewer stated: a musky men's deodorant. I agree.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It was either fake or defective. The product was nothing like the original, had a completely different texture, consistency and color. Horrible!

Definitly not a strong hold, last about 1 hr don't know why this is so highly reviewed. American Crew has worked way better for the IMO

It didn't hold my hair I had to use hair spray. I am very disappointed in this product it was a waste of money for me.

Scent is overwhelming for sensitive noses.

I don't think the product I received is authentic. My barber uses the same one on my hair and his comes out way harder with less product.
