I use this with my the KeraCare Edge Tamer and it does the trick. My hair is natural and I decided not to use a closure this time when installing my hair extensions. I needed a product that would help my edges stay laid and keep me from flat ironing my hair every day. I live in Texas where humidity is a constant battle, and using this wax on my edges and a dabbing some on my leave out really fights the humidity. It makes my hair look perfect. I would suggest going to youtube if you want to see how you should use it. I also use paul mitchell skinny serum. I would suggest a combination of all three whether your hair is relaxed or not.

Amazing hair styling wax. Tried lots and lots of other brands. KeraCare makes the best, then Tigi styling stick...Wax applies best when you heat and warm it up in your fingers, then apply. The scent is wonderful. Thick and sticky enough to hold edges for days, or keeping your dread locks tight. Well absorbed into hair, helps with sheen and lustre. non greasy.

I LOVE this wax stick! I was turned onto it when I worked at a salon a few years back and then sadly on a trip to Vegas someone needed it more than me and stole it right out of my suitcase! Anyway, it's the only product I've found that works on my fly-away's and edges. Be advised, this is a WAX therefore it is not necessarily greasy but more so gummy or sticky (but doesn't leave behind any residue or shine), just keep your hands out of your hair when using this product, once your edges are laid leave them be. It has a light fresh smell, nothing overpowering or offensive. It is convenient and easy to use because you just push up as needed and trust me, a little goes a very long way. This stick will last me a year or longer at minimum. If you are looking for the perfect product for your edges but don't want shine or grease, get this wax stick!

Yassss! Works wonders for my leave-out. I am a natural 4(a) and currently am wearing a kinky straight textured sew-in. I have leave out on the top of my hair and I am trying my best to keep the heat out to avoid damage. I used this after straightening my hair (with an FHI Platform flat iron set at 390), on Saturday. The only thing I used prior to a quick blow dry and then flat iron was the Kera Care leave in conditioner and Redkin's pillow talk(or whatever it's called) blow dry heat protectant. Today is Monday and I have not flat ironed it since. Not even my edges and I usually have to flat iron daily. My hair simply lays. Of course, I wrap it every night. Before, I found blending was a chore, but now, this wax is the cure! Not to mention that I got this on same-day delivery - so, shipping was also A+++!

I recently got the top half of my hair bleached and colored, and that said I could not use a relaxer for a good bit until my hair grew out some. Which left me with a dilemma of wild unruly edges. I tried the ecostyler gel, organic root stimulator edge control,etc and while those things did work when i first put it on, about two or so hours later or after I bust a sweat my edges are making another guest appearance and this time even wilder than before. I was down to try anything at this point, so I read reviews on this product, watched some on youtube and decided that i had nothing to lose.It arrived and i was in heaven with this thing. It smells delicious, it kept my edges manageable and down the whole entire day. This product is AWESOME!!! and it will be a staple in my hair regimne especially when i have not had a relaxer in ages. Its hard finding something that works agasint your hair reverting, but this wax does the job. I will gladly pay the $15 i did for this when the tube runs out, small price to pay to look kept up, in my opinion.

Love this stuff really works well one my edges, the only con is sometimes too much rubs off and leaves white goop that takes a min to remove but a pro is that it isn't water based so doesn't make natural hair revert back after pressing :)

My stylist always used this and I like the way it keeps my edges in place, so I ordered it, and now I can use it any time I want! It is a really good product! It works best when my hair is pressed around the edges. When it starts to get sweaty and old, it works, but doesn't stay down as well. I highly recommend this product, and this stick will last a looooong time!

Really great if you know how to use it! I use it when I wear a sew in to help blend my natural leave out into the hair. Works best if you use it with a flat iron.

It works good, but don't use too much of this product. Too much makes your hair heavy and sticky.

I love this product! I am transitioning to natural and use it on my leave-out and edges before flat ironing to blend with my upart wig. It works perfectly for me. I live in a humid climate and my leave-out does not revert.

This is a GREAT product! I like it because it's very easy to use, it's light, lightly scented, excellent hold, doesn't flake!

Made the hair shiny ..didn't lay fly sways down

I want to like this product, but it smells strongly of men's deodorant and is a little too greasy for my taste. The smell greatly overpowers the other lovely smelling products in my hair and even my perfume. It does a pretty decent job of keeping baby hairs in place, but this will have to serve as my back up edge tamer.

had to repost review. there are no instructions but its a push up from bottom type of applicator, I found out by accident. Anyway use sparingly as the white wax reside will show heavily even after tying hair down overnight or trying to rub or smooth out with fingers

I bought this based on the reviews and its just okay. Not a big fan of the smell and it does an okay job at best at keeping my edges down when I straighten my hair. I did try it for styling my short haircut and I liked it a little more for that. Probably won't purchase again.

I thought it was the stick & not what it was.with this one you have to open it stick your finger in to use it.the actual retractable stick one is better. thats what i thought i ordered.annoyingggggg

Although I have not used this product to smooth my edges I have used it to flat iron my hair while stretching my relaxer. It works well for that purpose and resists humidity if you reside in a climate that is humid. Now, that still comes with some limitations..I am relaxed and my new growth is curly and not real coarse. Hicks is best for edge control in my opinion..but this product is good for flat ironing leave out for extensions, it blocks humidity and protects hair from heat. Gave three stars because off costs...would prob repurchase simply for my extensions in between relaxing.

The product was harsh for my hair type and pulled out my hair.

Not sure what to say. While this keeps the hair down in place really well, I can't take the smell. It smells too waxy and so I'm afraid to hug people while I have this on. It really stinks but it does the job. They should change the smell - in this modern day where there are so many scents, why does it have to be a wax scent? Lavender or something else would do much better.It also doesn't make my hair flake, and I thought it would. No matter how much I rub it in, no flakes at all. But the smell....??

It doesn't work well on natural hair. It also leaves a very heavy, waxy like build up. I tried to use it on my edges, but felt like the product could rip my hair out. Wouldn't recommend. I threw the product away.

Not a good option for fine hair. So thick & tar-like, it hurts to apply Even more, it didn't hold my edges.

I ordered this product based upon a YouTube reference but I don't see the purpose. A waste of money for me.

i was very hopeful, but this product is definitely not for my shoulder level, baby fine, "big" 3A/3B hair...i like the idea of a product u can apply in this way, but it doesn't glide, and difficult to apply to hair...and as many others have said, i found broken hair on the applicator. If anyone knows about a similar product for 3A/3B flyaways, pls share!

OMG I was hoping this would work out great for me and I hate it I'm happy I didn't pay the price they have in the store. I wouldn't waste your time on buying this. I've had other that work out great that I love and I would just go back to that I was just seeing if there was something different out there and this is not it. Don't buy, its mess, has a funny smell, and it makes your hair feel nasty. DON"T BUY
