The small size fit my 1st grader well, with plenty of room to spare. It was nice because he could wear some fleece pants and a sweatshirt underneath for warmth. I'd say he's slightly above avg height and a bit below avg weight. The iron on numbers were a hit. The helmet is surprisingly durable and decent quality; nothing like the disposable garbage they had for this sort of thing when i was a kid! :) Very pleased and my boy still likes to get dressed up and run around in it.

For AWANA at church it is dressing in sports costume and this is perfect as we are Patriots fans. He loves the helmet. The shirt and iron on numbers are perfect. My son has not tried on pants yet will wear tomorrow night and sure many more times. Thank you for such a neat item. Arrival time was perfect and very well packed.

AWESOME costume!! Take care to iron on the number perfectly because there is no going back if you mess up!! I started wanting to use number 12 but I put the 2 on backwards! in a frantic craze 5 min before halloween I tried to pick off the number (not going to happen) then realized that I could iron an 8 over the 2 and he went as number 18!! haha. he still puts the helmet on for game day and it has been a staple on sunday mornings around the house!

My son wanted a Jersey for Christmas....well I start looking around and those babies are like 60-80 dollars! Um yeah right I am not going to spend that much on a 6 year old boy that will grow out of it in 6 months. So I see this helmet and jersey package around 50 bucks. SCORE! I just got it today and of course it isn't pro shop quality but for the price and for what I got it is pretty darn nice. I know he is going to be super excited when he opens it on Christmas! The helmet just has a decal of the team so I hope it doesn't come off really easy. And hopefully it wont be too much of a hassle to put the numbers on the back. It is easy out of the box packaging so you don't have to fight to get it out. I got a size Medium and it looks like it is true to size. He pants might be a little small but we wont know until after the 25th!

We gave this to our son on his eighth birthday and he wears it all the time - he loved picking his own numbers to have put on. The numbers ironed on great. The material is light - almost pajama like and seems very durable (having already been washed several times). We do not use the shoulder pads or the chin guard much, but he did like receiving them.The helmet is just a little tight going over the ears, but our family sometimes has been known to have big heads, so I am not knocking it down.... it fits comfortably when it is on.We bought him the medium and he is a youth size eight in normal clothes - it fits great and with the elastic he should be able to wear this for some time to come.All in all - the "best birthday present ever"!

This was purchased for my 5 (almost 6) year old son as a gift from Santa. He is crazy about football. We placed a decal of his favorite college team on the side and he was thrilled with the gift. The helmet is holding up fine after about a month of use since Christmas. He wears it almost daily but struggles getting it on and off because of the inside padding. He loves it, though, and we are pleased with the purchase.

The quality is a typical dress up/play costume material. Very thin. The jersey is mesh, and the pants are super thin. The helmet it pretty solid, but you obviously wouldn't use it to play actual football. If you have a little one who loves to play dress up, this is really great for it. My son likes to just pretend in the house, and this is all he needs.

I am so glad I went up a size on this. According to the size chart my son would be a small, but I opted for the Medium so he had room to grow. Well it fit him perfectly, if not a bit too small right away. So no room to grow, but he loves it all the same! It is very cute!

So I only gave this four stars because they don't make it in a smaller size. My son loves it but it's way to big for him at this time. It doesn't stop him from wearing it around the house every Sunday when he watches games with daddy. I like that you're able to choose the number on the back. It also comes with a chin strap. The pants are kind of itchy. But overall I would recommend for the simple fact that my son loves it.

My son woke up on Christmas and opened this package and went bananas! He's 7 years old and a die-hard Redskins fan. He wore his uniform all Christmas day... brunch, outside (with long underwear), and dinner at my sister's house. The only thing that wasn't that great about the uniform were the shoulder pads. There's nothing to keep them in place... no velcro, slits to insert them... nothing so he just tossed them to the side and kept moving. Other than that, great buy! I would recommend it.

This was definitely worth the price. The costume was in really good condition and was made really well. Accessories were provided to complete the uniform. The number for the jersey was very easy to put on and the insertable shoulder pads was a great extra because purchasing extra pads were not needed. The helmet was of better quality than I expected. It thought the helmet would be cheaply made and look fake but that was not the case. Long after Halloween, my son is still playing with this item. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the M was a little smug for my 7yr old and the availability of other sizes was scarce.

I bought this item for my son for Halloween when he was three. We LOVED the costume. The helmet looks so authentic, it was the best part of the costume, and now we use it for decoration in his football themed room. It was a little big on my little guy, I think it would fit 4-5 year olds a little better but people thought he was so cute in his too big helmet. The pants were great cause they had elastic on the bottom so even though they were just an inch or two too big they stayed put on his ankles. I have to admit, he didn't wear the jersey very long, we used the jersey that came with the set for his preschool party because we knew it would get dirty. Then that night for trick or treating he wore his authentic jersey from the Eagles store. My only other complaint about the set was that the shoulder pads don't stay in well. There are two pockets in the shoulders of the jersey and they come out fairly easily, we ended up losing one at preschool and were never able to find it again.

I would give more stars- except for the fact I was sent everything BUT the jersey (which I would think would be the main piece) . It took several minutes for customer service to understand that they didn't send me the jersey and I needed them to send it ASAP. However, instead of sending me ONLY the missing jersey, they sent the entire order, with instructions to return everything I didnt need- which honestly was just more of a hassle. The red bled onto the numbers when we applied them (following the directions to a T). Other than all that, it was a pretty awesome costume and my son loves it.

I purchased this for my nephew for Halloween. He loved it! However, the numbers did not stick or iron on. My mother had to get them sewn on.

The helmet is awesome. The iron on decals didn't work at all for us, a huge disappointment to my son. We had to throw the jersey away, because even following directions it became a mess when we ironed them. The backing wouldn't come off and leave the decal no matter what we did. The jersey is also see through, not very high quality at all. Pants are fine. Since I got it on lightning deal, I was glad to have the helmet for that price, shirt was just a big fail.

This was a big hit with my son. He only wanted a helmet but this was the only way to get a helmet. Good thing the helmet is all that really matters though because the quality of the other pieces is poor. The pants and shirt are really thin, but still look cute on. I haven't attempted to iron on any numbers yet because my son can't decide which one to put on it so I can't comment on that aspect. The helmet is great though, so if you are just in the market for one of those this is a good one.

Sizing is not all correct, still a bit big. Son will have to use it next year and thats if he doesn't out grow it by then but I would go a size down if possible. The helmet is really big, my Husband has a big head and it was still too big for his head too. It's not made for actual use but its still hard to wear while dressing up in it as a costume because it just moves all around.

The best parts of this set are the helmet (which is the primary reason we bought this) and the pants. The shirt (as you can obviously see in the pic) is no where near the same in style or quality as the "official" youth Patriots Jerseys. The only good thing about the shirt is that it has inserts for the shoulder pads. However, the shoulder pads are made of a hard plastic, and they move around a lot, my 4 y.o. son can't stand them. I'm going to make some out of thick, dense foam instead. The helmet, with the pants and a real jersey, make a cute uniform that my son loves wearing on game days as he plays football while watching the game! Go Pats!!!

When ordering, it was difficult to tell what size to choose based on customer reviews. I guessed at a medium for my 10 year old son. He does have a big noggin, so it shouldn't have been a surprise that it was too small. His 10 year old friend down the street said it was too big for him. Please publicly post a size chart!

For the price I paid it is well worth it for the helmet alone ....with that being said the clothing not so much. The pants had NO LOGO on them as shown in the picture and they are paper thin....the jersey is also very thin If you are looking for the helmet and don’t want to spend a lot of money on 1 then I suggest this set , but wouldn’t suggest it for anything else ;(. Cheap material and after one wash pants got pulled . My six yr old loves helmet!

I loved this idea and was REALLY looking forward to my boys getting them. I purchased 2 size large sets, one for my 6 year old and one for my 8 year old. I thought it would be a great gift for them to have their favorite team gear. When I received them today I was so let down. There is NO way they are "large 10-12". I would be lucky if the jersey and helmet fits either of them let alone the pants! Now to find a replacement gift before Christmas.

Our 10 year old son wanted to wear this for his Halloween costume. It was important to him to be able to iron on the letters of his favorite player - #27 Eddie Lacy. I followed the directions perfectly and I could not get the numbers to stick to the jersey, no matter how much I ironed. It was so disappointing.We ended up super gluing the numbers on, and they of course promptly tore off. He was so mad he wouldn't wear the costume for Halloween.

This uniform is probably fine for the price. My son wore this for halloween and enjoys wearing on game days. The helmet is not a real helmet and the pants and jersey are very thin. The pants we have are white and you can see my son's underwear through the pants. I ironed the numbers on per the directions and they are already falling off. It was a little difficult to get them to stick on the jersey while I was ironing as well. Overall, I guess it is what I would expect for the price, considering just an NFL jersey for a boy is $80+. Just don't expect NFL attire quality if you purchase.

The pants barely fit my grandson. Meanwhile the helmet is too big. Most likely the helmet is one size fits all and only if you order a larger size for a bigger kid would you find the helmet fit appropriate. The jersey top is of poor quality and extremely thin material. Fortunately, we only purchased the uniform set for the pants and helmet as my grandson is using an Official NFL Patriot's Jersey and if he was not using this shirt, I would have returned the entire set.

Tried twice to leave an honest review, not accepted. You will have to read between the lines. Helmet arrived eventually and was battered. Be careful while taking the stickers off or you will take the helmet finish off with it.

The iron on numbers are terrible. They don't adhere to the material of the shirt. The directions say to press with the iron for 40 seconds but after multiple attempts it took roughly 3 minutes of pressing the iron to the shirt to get the number to peel from its backing. It still won't stick to the shirt. Save your money and buy a real jersey for the same cost.

Poor quality, huge disappointment, didn’t receive chin strap or numbers for jersey, which was wrong size. Items was thrown together in shipping box.
