And since meal delivery is expensive, making our own home cooked food and using these trays are perfect. They are heavy duty - not cheaply constructed. Highly recommend. Inexpensive and so convenient! April 13, 2017 I use these everyday, I send dinner to my father in law. Instead of sending my dishes I use these. Perfect size for a good three coarse meal. The walk next door requires no plastic wrap, food stays warmer, and no spills ... he loves gravy! I wash in the dishwasher without any problems. I love these for the kids' lunches July 1, 2016 I love these for the kids' lunches. It's just the right size for a main food and two snacks, or a main with carrots and dip. We have to deal with a lot of food allergies in our house, so the kids bring their own lunches to school everyday, and these are simply awesome. They're also great to use if you're giving food to friends or family. Durable and convenient March 1, 2016 I have recently started trying to eat healthier so I was so excited to find these lunch box sets. I spent the day preparing healthy meals for the week and these portion controlled containers have solved my storage needs. I simply grab am already prepared meal from the refrigerator and heat it up in the microwave, or take with me for lunch. They arrived stacked with the containers on the bottom and the lids on top. They were all in perfect condition and easy to use. They have 3 compartments 1 larger one and 2 smaller ones. For myself I used the larger for my meat selection and the 2 smaller for veggies. Although the larger could be used for a healthy salad. My daughter hates to have her food touching so using a single compartment container is not much of an option for her to grab and go. They are very sturdy and I can't see having any issue with the microwave. The compartments are separated by the bottom and the lid. The food does not flow from one compartment to the other. The containers are sturdy and wash easily. When microwaved they did not warp out of shape. I frequently send food to a friend who, because of injury, does not cook. With the containers, I know that the food can safely be microwave and, because of the price, I don't have to worry about getting the containers back.I will reorder these. | 69% Great Quality Plastic Food Storage August 13, 2017 These are the best! I have ordered and re-ordered the Paksh line and they are great. They secure left-overs or prepared portion meals, easy to open while still keeping things fresh, last forever even while heating in microwave and washing in dishwasher. I have the rounds and 2 & 3 divided units as well. I like this brand as they do not have a well around the base of the interior wall which seems to collect food particles, such as salad pieces, that other brands do. Pricing is fine as the last a long time without warping or cracking. A great product all around. Don't waste your money on other food prep containers June 22, 2017 Love these containers! I had purchased the other food prep containers that are always on sale on the sites (for 20 for $20 I think) before, and they cracked the first time I tried to hand wash them. THESE CONTAINERS ARE WORTH YOUR MONEY!!! Yes, they look like they come from your favorite takeout restaurant, but they actually hold up! They seal very well and do not spill in my husband's backpack. They also hold up to hand washing- have only cracked ONE out of 20 lids. I have just ordered some more of them because they work so perfectly. I like to mix my food together, and these are perfect for that. If you don't want to stir your food together and keep the main separate from the side, they still work well. Love these things!! April 17, 2017 I've purchased other designs of this product...two compartments, different brands, etc. and they were okay but didn't hold up. These are sturdy, with enough room for an entree and 2 additional sides. They aren't real deep but the top is domed so a big slab of meatloaf and good sized potato fit in just fine with room for a vegetable. They are designed for dishwasher and microwave...and are not toxic. I used them to put a supply of meals in the freezer and they stack well...they don't slide off of each other. Very satisfied with this product. I'm Ordering Another Set! August 31, 2016 I don't use these for lunch box since I'm too old to have kids at home and I'm retired. I use them for casseroles etc for my freezer. I just made Apple Enchiladas, 4 to a container for the freezer when I want a yummy desert. They are sturdy and the absolute best food storage containers I've ever found.Never stain, crack or chip and easily put in the microwave to heat your food up. I also use Paksh Novelty Round Plastic Meal Preparation Container/Food Saver with Clear Lid for soups and stews etc. I wouldn't use any other container again. They are the perfect size and shape for my needs. Great Value for Freezer, Short-Term Food Storage, and Lunches September 29, 2015 A while ago, I began sending lunches to work with my husband. I didn't have many containers in which to pack his food, but the best ones I had were rectangular black ones from a Chinese take-out place. I poked around on Amazon, read a bunch of reviews, and bought these.I'm happy to say that they've lived up to their overwhelmingly-positive reviews. They stand up well to frequent use not only for packing lunches, but also for marinating dinner in the fridge, storing leftovers, keeping cookies fresh, and freezing stuff like chicken-and-dumplings.Not one has cracked they, and since they're black, they don't become discolored when you cram leftover lasagna into them. You can bleach them between uses, which seems to prevent them from growing stinky.Like another reviewer suggested, you can even make your own frozen dinners — just pack in your food, rest a sheet of plastic wrap on top, seal, and freeze.The seal on these is decent enough to keep liquids contained under reasonably controlled circumstances — I don't know that I'd pack soup in one for an active grade-school kid, but my husband has schlepped homemade rolls and French dip swimming in au jus in the divided version without winding up with soggy rolls (or a lunchbox full of au jus, for that matter).Rectangular format makes these convenient for use in fridge and freezer, and you can write in them with dry-erase markers.I'm sure that my household's population of these will be subject to Tupper's Universal Law of Storage Ware Attrition, so I plan to buy many more. PERFECT reusable containers for Meal Planning! September 2, 2015 These are terrific. We use them for meal prepping. We make 20 meals a week and these containers work perfectly. We can wash, freeze and microwave them. They stack perfectly on the top rack of our dishwasher. We have gone through about 5 weeks so far and they are holding up like new. Four Star Reviews: | 16% Pretty good. April 4, 2016 They are good for what they're supposed to do, with a couple flaws:1. The lids hold tight, but they are tedious to attach, as you have to walk your fingers around the entire rim and snap it into place in multiple places. It doesn't pop right onto it like a Glade tupperware lid.2. They are dishwasher safe, but they are much too deep to sit vertically in the dishwasher; that is, they don't fit in there where plates and pans go in sideways. You have to lay them face-down, which takes up a LOT of room in the dishwasher, so you could only wash a few of them at a time, with hardly any other dishes in there. So I just ended up washing them by hand, even though the fact that they are dishwasher safe was one of the reasons I bought these.As far as just having a sturdy (and they are sturdy, I don't know why other reviewers are saying they are flimsy) container with separations for different foods, they work just fine. I do not carry it in a backpack or anything so I can't comment on whether or not there is leakage of liquids like other reviewers have done. Good for portion control, but wish the quality was better January 6, 2016 I like these containers for the separated compartments. I can make my lunches for the week on Sunday and have them ready to grab before work each day. It definitely helps with portion control, too. The quality is similar to that of Chinese takeout containers. They definitely don't seem like they'll hold up to much abuse, which won't be a problem for me but is something to consider if using it for kids or a husband like mine that will probably be less careful with it. Lol. I bought these during a black Friday sale so I feel like I got a good deal for what they are. I took off one star in part because of the durability and because I have only hand washed them and already noticed that a piece was chipped off one of the container's lips. It may have come that way and I didn't notice it, or it was so delicate that it came off during a hand washing or removing of the lid. Kind of a bummer, but the container is still usable at least. These are so handy and a nice size for portioned meals September 22, 2015 These are so handy and a nice size for portioned meals. The tops are raised slightly so you can fit awkward pieces inside and still close it. Although, I would NOT use these for to go lunches, especially if it needs to be tipped to the side. These are flimsy, and not air tight, so not recommended for traveling around with lots of movement. These are perfect for meal preps to sit in the fridge at home, or if you can transport them right side up In a bag to work to set in the fridge accordingly. I'd say these are great for the price, and it's awesome they do well in the microwave and dish washer. The only negative would be the seal not being leak proof, but I bought these to use at home so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I'd buy another set if I wanted to prep more meals than 10! Good Product, Poor Packaging September 1, 2015 I was kind of weary about getting these containers because of other reviews stating that they arrived with broken lids. Well, wouldn't you know it? Mine, too, arrived with a broken lid. It was only one broken lid and it was a pretty small crack right in the corner of the raised part that goes over the 16 oz. slot. It still fits on properly and hasn't cracked anymore (but I'm still trying to make sure I don't use it.) I didn't really feel that it was worth having to send it back just for one broken lid. I do think that the packaging could be a little better... It came in a box that I felt was a little too large and with only one air-filled plastic bag inside. So basically, the containers were just sliding back and forth which I am sure has contributed to all the broken lids from different customers. As for the product itself, it's great. The lids fit on very snug and they hold a pretty generous amount of food. I will definitely be buying more eventually. I just hope they can get the packaging perfected a bit. a great value. Also, if there is a family member who isn't around for dinner, we use these to "make them a plate" to save for when they get home.Pro: surprisingly heavy duty at this price point, well proportioned compartment sizes, clear top (it's not crystal clear, but you can tell at a glance what's inside), stack well for storage so they don't take a lot of space, less than US $2 each, easily washableCon: while the compartments are well separated and fairly tight fitting, neither they or the outer seal is liquid-tight so if you have any excess liquid it can leak between compartments and outside the container - don't put it on edge if you have sauces or juices in any of the compartments! things like drained fruit chunks are ok, but if anything drips when holding it in the air, don't expect it to stay inside unless your very careful about keeping it flat and upright. Great for cooked ahead frozen meals April 25, 2015 I got these to freeze dinners prepared ahead of time. I like to have at least a week's worth of frozen meals for my husband and I ready to reheat whenever we are in a hurry or want to take a night off from cooking. These containers are a good size for portion control. One is perfect for me, however, my husband usually eats two. When I freeze them, I put a layer of foil around them to make sure the lid stays on till the meal is completely frozen. I write the date and contents with a sharpie on the foil. They are good to just put right into the microwave to reheat. The lid is not really tight fitting, but it is good for splatter prevention. The material these are made with is pretty flimsy, and some have cracked/broken along the edges after a few times of use. I do like them for the purpose I bought them for, and would buy again. | 13% Love, love March 14, 2017 Love, love, love these!!! I'm a huge meal prepper & when I seen these, I just had to have them. They go straight from fridge/freezer to the microwave to the dishwasher!! They don't melt like 'other' typical plastic storage containers. Plus the black doesn't show any staining! My only complaint is that the lids don't hold up as well as I'd like for them too. They tend to split on the corner edges & then pieces break off causing you to have to throw them away. I've gotten several uses out of some, but only one use out of others. I'm not sure if it's bcuz I use a deep freezer vs regular freezer. Def will buy them again! Very economic! Some chips, but still good October 25, 2016 These work very well for meal prep. I have used them several times already they are microwave safe, but kind of flimsy when heated up, so be careful when removing from microwave so as not to spill anything on yourself. So far durability is good. I've cut steak inside one and it held up well. There were a few chipped edges on the bottoms and lids here and there when I received them, but nothing further has developed from daily use. Perfect Leftover Lunch Containers July 27, 2016 These are the perfect size for making lunch leftovers to take to work. They fit perfectly in a mini insulated softsided cooler. Every thing else I have bought in the past has been either too small or too large. The only drawback was that my original intention was to reheat them from a frozen state, which doesn't work because it is too much heat and partially melts the base. But now I just take it out of the freezer the night before, set it in the refrigerator to thaw overnight, and then put it in my lunch bag before going to work. Pop it in the microwave for about 2 minutes and I have a nice hot lunch. They wash up great in the top of the dishwasher and take up very little room in my plastics pantry. Tight closure, for sure…covers hard to get off June 12, 2016 Very handy, very stackable, dishwasher safe, microwave safe. These are convenient items to have available to send food home with family members or to use as lunchbox food storage containers. They are rugged. Only thing that both my spouse and I have noticed is that it is a struggle to get the lids off the bottom portion of the unit once you hear the snap of each corner of that lid. Don't know if they'll loosen up with time and continual use or if they will always be this tight. All in all, we like them and would recommend ordering them, if you like to save money by keeping your leftovers for the next day's consumption/for toting your lunch to work to save money/to stack in refrigerator/etc. Fragile plastic cover, but good overall. January 30, 2016 The lunch boxes are good. They don't really look like what is pictured though. Holds up well in the microwave and is still plenty spacious to hold food in. I'm giving it four out of five stars because the plastic cover is very thin and easily snaps and cracks. I have one that snapped in my backpack and I only had one other container on top of it. Only found out when I went to eat my spring salad and saw the gash so I wish the plastic was a little bit stronger.Keep that in mind if you buy these. So nice to prepare things ahead and just grab and go! Yes, they do become brittle and crack over time... And, sometimes they are hard as hell to open, but I appreciate that since I freeze them. But, to me this typically occurs after many occasions of use (freezer, microwave, dishwasher) When's the last time you purchased something for $1 and it lasted forever?I think I have replaced them every 3-4 months. My biggest issue is that when I get a new set, the lids are not interchangeable with my older trays. Since they all LOOK identical, it's quite the nightmare to have to match up the trays to a specific lid. Maybe there is an issue with shrinkage of the lids - - I don't know. But, this is def an issue that needs to be sorted out by the manufacturer! Am I being sent something different each time? Except they don't lock closed as secure as I would like. Still working on it. I used a rubber band around each one and it was fine but the containers felt insecure and did not snap ... November 10, 2016 I would probably give 3.5 stars. The product is decent for the price. A few things to note- mine did not close tightly. I used a rubber band around each one and it was fine but the containers felt insecure and did not snap all the way around. Also the compartments are separated, but not tightly. So if you have something wet or even damp in one side and something crisp on the other it wont stay that way. You just have to pack accordingly and keep the container level. But for my purposes they worked well. And arrived fast. June 16, 2016 It appears that there are older versions being sent to customers. Beware there are versions with a lip on the lid and ones that have no lip. The ones that have no pull lip tab are of poor quality. I think they have since improved the way these fit to seal food. I tried to contact the company but they ignored my request. Two of the older versions have cracked completely with only 2 uses out of it. This is perfect for meal prepping... if you get the good quality ones.On my second order I got good ones. However if you do end up freezing them be careful they Crack easily. I hope this company takes this feedback information and reinforces the lids and bottoms.. they did a little bit and I think if they reinforce them again it should be good. We need meal Tupperware for lunches that separates the food.However, upon receiving the product, two lids were cracked. Thankfully, after a few emails, the company agreed to send us replacements for the cracked lids.I'd have given 4 stars but at lunch today, just by opening one of the containers, the lid's corner cracked completely off and the black container's corner is also chipped. I expected them to be a little bit better quality, to be honest, and will probably look for a different brand when we order more (which will probably be sooner than expected given the quality). These containers are great for meals if you keep the containers flat but ... September 26, 2015 These containers are great for meals if you keep the containers flat but they are NOT leak-proof. Ziploc used to make a 3-compartment leak-proof container perfect for lunches but they no longer make these. Each ziploc compartment was separated and the lid sealed all three at once and you didn't have your watermelon leaking into your sandwich. So I am on a quest for a comparable product. I purchased these because they were advertised as leak-proof and seemed like the closest thing I had seen. When they arrived I opened one, poured some water into one compartment, closed the lid tight and turned the container sideways as they would be packed for lunches in my kids' backpacks. As I feared, the water leaked into the other compartments and then right out of the container. If you won't be turning them on their sides, they felt fairly sturdy (I did not think they were flimsy as other reviews stated)--both the lid and the bottom--and seemed to be fairly high quality for 10 containers in the range of $17. I returned them with no problem. Good luck! | 6% Food Storage Vault! August 18, 2017 I have had these a few years. I have lost some to wear and tear, but they have lasted. The only downfall is that the lids are really hard to remove. I assume this means my food is contained well, but I want my fingers back after I try to open them. We use a few of these containers every week. They're fine for short term use, but they're not very durable. A lot of them (tray AND cover) have begun to chip and crack at the corners. I also do not think they offer an airtight seal. If looking to meal prep long term or planning to use the containers often, it may be best to invest in a more durable material/style. The price is fair for the amount of use we got out of it, but not without flaws. Nice to have when sending food home with someone instead of never seeing your Tupperware again. August 14, 2016 Lids are very stiff plastic and difficult to take on and off; no little corner grip as you find on most storage containers. Liquids will leak even when lids are securely fastened. Should've read the measurements more carefully before ordering because these are not nearly as deep as expected. OK for a sandwich or sliced vegetables, but don't use with dips, dressings, sauces or other liquidy foods. Also, both the tops and bottoms come out of the dishwasher very spotted, even though other plastic containers washed in the same load don't. I really like how stack-able these are and once you have them ... January 14, 2016 I really like how stack-able these are and once you have them sealed (you hear a clicking sound) they do not leak at all. The tricky part with these is that I find them nearly impossible to open without fear that everything will go spewing everywhere. I've had two break in my first week because I can't open them. The opening situation might be just me but if you are looking for a great stacking and less leaky container this is for you. Functional October 28, 2015 The containers are nice. They hold food as promised so I can't complain about functionality. I ordered two sets at the same time thinking they would be identical, but they weren't. The lids for each set are different and the shape of the container is slightly different. When I purchase cheap I expect cheap, so one out of ten did not really bother me. The containers are larger than you expect, so actually measure what you plan to carry these. The real problem was that the lid does not seal for liquids. Will not purchase this manufacturer again. ... using these for a week now and I generally like them. The only issue I have had so ... August 8, 2015 I was very excited about these because my sister and her husband ordered like 20 and swore by them. I got them quickly, sooner than expected, unfortunately the quality is not what I expected. The lids don't seal well and liquids leak out the side and spill over in the other compartments. I have tried every which way to close them up too: lots of pressure, little pressure, seal from the inside out, from the outside in, from side to side......always leaks. The whole reason I got them was because every one said they DIDN'T leak out; guess I got a bad batch.I would have sent them back, unfortunately someone at work took one of mine, so I no longer have a whole set to return. I don't really like to freeze food then reheat it (I don't even own a microwave), but maybe I'll try it with these so I can get some use out of them. But the issue I have with this is that the lids cracked a bit when I put in the dishwasher after three washes. Not all of them cracked though, just a couple. There was supposed to be 10 boxes but I got 10 lids and 9 boxes in the mail. One of the box was missing, after contacting support, they said they can't do anything about it which is weird. So i have this box for a little over a month and half. I used it to meal prep lunches every week and from 10 lids and 9 boxes, I am down to 6 boxes and 7 lids due to them cracking in the dishwasher. If it wasn't for the missing box and cracked lids, it would have been really good. Poor Packaging & Poor Quality April 30, 2016 Seemed like a great size for meals, but both packages arrived in a cardboard box that fit the containers like a glove... there was nothing else inside to protect/cushion the containers, which is why both packs arrived to me with the plastic corners of the black sections cracked and chipped off and spread out in little pieces all over the inside of the wrapping. This rendered them useless as there wouldn't have been a compete seal. Sent back and order a much better brand that I've used countless times and they've never cracked and have held up quite well by LIFT. 5 Lids Broken -- Ouch!!! January 27, 2016 The first time we purchased these they arrived with one broken lid. As they don't cost much we did not return them. They work really well for lunches and dinners and the first set is getting worn out, so we ordered a new set. The new set arrived and 5 of the lids had broken corners. We have asked for a refund and we are shipping them back. None of the lids should be broken - but 5??? Very disappointed. They were shrink wrapped at the factory that way. Amazon shipping was perfect. Manufacturer needs to fix this problem. We would pay a bit more NOT to have broken lids. Received Two Different Products October 26, 2015 I pack microwaveable lunches for my husband and sons, so I ordered two packs of ten containers. The two products look similar, but the quality is quite different. The first set is labeled "TRIPAK" and is good quality, thicker plastic w/ lids that are clear, strong and fit well. The second pack of containers is labeled "Newspring Versatainer," and the quality is poor. The lids are dingy, fragile and don't fit well. One lid was obviously broken before I even opened the overwrap. In placing this order, I was attempting to consolidate my plastic containers to the same type/size in order to cut down on storage space; however, the lids to these sets are not interchangeable. All lids and bases are labeled "microwave safe," made in USA, and have a food grade (triangle) rating of "5." I would return the "Newspring Versatainer" containers, if I could, but I'm a week past the Amazon return deadline. If both sets of containers had been as good quality as the "TRIPAK" containers, I would be buying more. Lids are hard to open and liquids leak. April 29, 2015 I've been using these containers for about a month now and I honestly wouldn't recommend them. There are better alternatives out there. However, there are certain things about these containers that are nice like 1) they stack well, 2) they help with portion control, and 3) they are microwaveable.Now, the cons. The lid and the bottom are difficult to pry apart; I already broke one of the lids on accident. The containers are already difficult to open when my hands are dry - they're 10x harder when I'm washing dishes and my hands are wet. However, the lids don't seal at all. Have to hold them closed with rubber bands. When I actually was able to look at the containers they reminded me of the containers you would get at a restaurant to bring home food. I could not see this product lasting long at all.
