My son loves this and it looks really great on him. Beats this $60 porkpie we saw at a chi-chi hat store in SF. Not about to spend $60 on a hat for a 9 year old, so this one really fits the bill.

Very nice lid! It looks smart on. It is a cotton material, but lined and shaped. Good quality brim- stark white. Accommodates small heads.

Excellent quality. Was worried because my husband only wears Kango. However, this hat was better than I expected for such a good price. I got the X-Large for his big head and it was just a tad small. If you wear a XL in Kango, go up a size. Excellent vendor will buy again.

Handsome hat. Bought for my son. He wears it with a black sport coat, jeans, trendy tshirts and black dress shoes. Really cool looking hat for a young man.

I love the hat itself...exactly what I wanted. Except for the size, which was too large. I followed Amazon's sizing suggestions. I'm about a 7 1/4 hat wearer, and it suggested L/XL. Unfortunately, it should have been the S/M.I contacted City Hunter Cap by phone, and they instantly emailed me a shipping label (free) to make what would be a no hassle exchange!The next hat I buy will be from City Hunter!

Fits my head well. Trying out a new style and I think this hat will accommodate that pretty well for me.

I have three, black, brown and red. I wear hats all the time, straw in summer and felt in winter. It is true these are not "quality" as in expensive hand made like my dad wore. But these look and fit great. I work in the luxury auto industry, and it is windy all the time. I wear hats for style and to protect the hair. I like the fedora look, not a cloche style. I love a smaller brim and these are perfect for that. However!Shipping is as described. It is bad. Not sure why the seller hasn't paid attention as everyone has reported it that way. They arrive with the top crushed, they do straighten but you can still see the lines. I am going to email the seller to see if they will respond with bigger boxes. Otherwise these are great, style, color and quality for price.

Bought this on a lightening deal and was pleasantly surprised. I purchased the gray and it is exactly as pictured, very nice material, lined and well made. The measurements for the small size matched my head measurement, but the hat is just a bit to large, I would not want to wear it in the wind, but since it does not come in a smaller size I will certainly keep it and enjoy wearing it this winter.The only down side is that when it was packed it was "crammed" into a box that was to small so it had some odd dents etc. I reshaped the hat with newspapers and heated it with a hairdryer to reshape and I think it will be fine.

I own a lot of hats. I'm partial to Santana's collection so I'm used to paying in the high range.I bought this hat, not expecting much for $17, and many of the reviews described the hat as more of a costume piece. So I was pleasantly surprised when I received the hat and found it was solidly made, and looked good even up close. I've worn the hat in the rain, and it does a fine job keeping my head dry without damaging the hat.I'm so pleased with the hat I'm going to see if Sakkas makes other styles and materials.

I originally bought this hat for a Halloween costume thinking this would be the only time I would wear it.., and even though "knowing" this would be the only time wearing it, I didn't want a cheap "costume" hat. When it arrived I was more than surprised, I felt like Wow, I have something that looks admirable. I tried it on, fit was great, looked great and I thought, what's not to like about this hat !?!?After the costume party I put it back in the bag and box it was sent in, but I kept thinking to myself, I really like that hat and should probably buy a hat box for it instead of keeping it in an Amazon box, so I took it out to measure it and I put it on again, looking in the mirror once again saying, this hat is awesome and wore it for the remainder of the day, then the week, and then a cold snap moved into the area and I noticed that it's actually keeping me warm (I usually wear a beanie in the winter) ! I love it !Last but not least.., this hat sure does get a lot of attention here in South Texas, (I'll probably buy the summer version soon) !

Has the quality of other hats that I've had for thrice the price. The S/M size fits my 22 1/2" head like a charm. A keeper.

This is a nice hat which fits well and looks good. The brim is small which is trendy and stylish. The material is good as well. It's a wool acrylic blend that is of a heavy weaveSince sizing seems to be an issue with some hats I wanted to share that the sizing charts online are pretty accurate regarding this hat.In general all size charts should have three rows. Inches (centimeters), classic hat size (such a 7 7/8) and modern size (small, medium etc..). These hats are roomy but mostly true to size.Be aware that this hat is a modified Trilby. By that I mean it's brim is very short. I think that makes it more casual and trendy than most hats of it's style.

Pretty decent hat for the price. Looks great! Stylish. Mine came squished and based on the box size - it really shouldn't have been. This is just an 'around-the-town' casual hat for me so I don't mind at all but there are wrinkles in the hat which might bother someone else. I would say that it's comparable to a hat that you can get at a drugstore but more stylish not better made. I'll probably wear it all summer long and if anything happens to it - no biggie.

The hat looks great but fits a little too large or loose on my head. it was size Medium to Large, Medium Small would possibly have been too small. But overall I like the hat very much.

the deep blue color on this hat is really cool I like it a lot. fix the size issue because the l/xl is too big and the next size down is too small. I would like to get another color when the size issue is resolved

This is just the type hat I was looking for. It is a little snug but not enough to not be able to wear. It is made of cloth and has the front brim down. Very distinguishing looking. I am happy 😄 with what I got especially for the price.

This was well made for the price, but the L/XL was still a little small for my husband's head. It worked for the 1920's party we needed it for, and then my 11 year old son stole it. For $13, it's great.

It's a little tight for a large/xl, but it'lt stretch. The feeling of the liner is a little weird, compared to previous trilby hats I've bought which didn't have a liner, but it's kinda nice. This is not a hat for a hot day though. I ended up soaking my liner because I got too hot. Still, really nice felt hat, almost hate wearing it daily because I don't want to ruin it. The ring on the left side of the hat is a bit puffy, too, but that's not a big deal. Altogether, if you have narrower shoulders and can pull this hat off, it's worth the price. I paid about the same amount for a cheapie at Wal-Mart and it was worthless compared to this one.

Nicely made fedora, but it's L/XL size was way too small for my head and they don't offer a bigger size. All the other fedoras I own are L/XL and fit perfectly, but this one is at least 2 sizes too small. I would return it, but the cost of UPS return would almost cost me as much as the hat did, since UPS would have to come to my apartment to pick it up since there is no UPS store near me. Just a word of warning: If you usually wear large/extra large size hats, this one will not fit you.

The hat is good quality and warm for the cold weather, Like the hat and have been wearing the it but i would have loved the hat if it were styled a little differently.The slope in the front of the hat, and the tiny brim made it look like a ladies hat to me when i first tried it on, and I thought about returning it. But all the people in my family said it look OK and did not look like a ladies hat, and while I was swearing the hat cashier at home depot said she liked my hat.I wanted a black hat for the winter but I did not want to spend a lot of money. When you look at a photo or in the mirror you still do not really know how you look to others, so as long as people tell me that they like the hat and that it looks good i will wear it, but If some one told me that thy thought i was wearing a girls hat i would give the hat to my wife.I would recommend this hat because of the quality, and the price

looks like a sad clown hat and not a real porkpie, the brim needs to not curve up so dramatically, can not be straighted

I love the look of this hat. It is not as deep as I would like. For this, I put it was too small. But the diameter was fine. If anything, the diameter was slightly too large.

Fits as expected, the brim is shorter than it appears on the picture.

To small, other than that it was nice for the price.

Beautiful hat! However, it runs a little small. I am serious hat man, (Dress and casual, straw as well wool), normally I get L/XL but this is a small. Great hat, but a little small.

Received creased, I will have to try to iron out. I'm concerned about damaging the material. Otherwise if successful, I will be satisfied. For the price I paid for the hat and if not creased I would have given 5 stars.

Quality is good. Ordered the L/XL...doesn't fit. More like a M/L. Unfortunately will have to return it.

Hat was in a box with lots of padding, but the entire hat was pushed in. Even when I popped it back into shape you can see that it is now misshapen from being pushed in so long. It was on sale during a lightning deal so price was fine for what I received. Without the sale though, I would have been really bummed about the quality and damage.

Beautiful hat, and the inside silky-black paisley lining is truly gorgeous. But I have a large head (7-3/4 fitted baseball caps), and this fedora borders on the "L" side of "L/XL". It fits me more like a yarmulke than a hat.

This is not L XL by any means.. it's more like one size fits all.... which means doesn't fit if you need a large or bigger. I'm 6'5" so the sizing for me has to be bigger or it's way too tight. My Fiance is a 5'4" Chinese man and this hat fits him perfectly.I want to add that the quality of this hat is quite good.... so much sadder for the lack of fits true sizing...

I'm 210 lb usually where Large, xl these weren't close to fitting me so can't really tell if there any good until I get my new ones but i had to pay $10.00 to return them not worth the trouble their size chart is to big

Let's face it...this hat is cheap...that's why you're looking at it....so, don't be surprised when it comes and it looks and feels cheap. I bought this for a one time wear...and that's just about what I'll get from it. It's wrinkled, the brim can't be adjusted (I prefer the front to be down...but it just pops right back up) and even though the chart said my hat size was medium the small/medium is still a bit large. Bottom line...Buy Cheap -- Get Cheap.

Nice hat except it was crushed when it came. I had to steam it to repair the condition. I would have returned it if I didn't need the hat for an occasion. Otherwise it's pretty nice.

Nice looking, nice material, good fit. The stitching where the hat meets the rim on one side could have been done better. The edge of the hat material is frayed causing white fuzz and thread to show up around the hatband. The hatband covers it but it works it"s way out.

Sorry but they evidently don't make their hats for us intelligent "Fat Heads".

Very disappointing. Too small. In addition, the colour is way off. Much darker grey and the brim at front is smaller than shown in the picture. sad face.

For the price I certainly wasn't expecting the highest quality felt, but it's so cheesy it's a wonder why they bothered to line the insides. I would say it's about the quality I would expect for a Rat Pack costume. Besides that, although it came in a large box, it was dented and beat up, requiring a good amount of steaming to straighten out.I guess at night, from across the street, it may look kinda ok, but don't let anyone see you close up.

I wore this one time and ended up giving it away because it fit too narrow on my head, and also a little bit tight. I bought a size small because I have a small head and wear small in other hats. I recommend getting the medium if you have a small head. Anyway it was made of cheap material and after wearing it once it got a lot of fuzz and pills on it.

Hat sizing runs smaller than expected. Plus the hat was smashed into a box that was too small resulting in the hat being smashed and wrinkled.

Well, okay, "you get what you pay for." On the other hand, a guy sometimes gets luckier than this.Poor quality. A cloth hat pretending to be felt. Doesn't work. More of a kids' hat than one for a grownup man. And it should definitely NOT say "Large to XL" because it is not in the XL range. I can wear a real XL hat and XXL. This is definitely too small and tight for me to wear it.

I got a pancake not a hat. Received it flatten, couldn't get the wrinkle out! One star because I could use it for halloween, not!

This is more of a child's cheap costume hat. Cannot be worn as fashion. Too flimsy. If you are looking for a "real" hat this is not it
