Five Star Reviews: | 70% If you want to treat acne and want clear skin try this stuff out. December 15, 2016 I use this honey to heal blemishes on my face rather than consuming it, however it does taste very good. After using over the counter creams, gels and pastes to clear my skin I didn't have any luck. I then did some research and found that raw organic honey was excellent to treat acne, blemishes, acne scars, etc. My skin has never been horrible but I just couldn't go more than two days without either breaking out, or having a few pimples form. I first stopped applying the harmful chemicals on my face which helped the over drying and consecutive breakouts. Then I started using the honey as a facial scrub in the shower, and spot applied it before bed. I couldn't believe how much better my skin looked after only a couple weeks of this process. After doing this for 2 months, my skin healed completely and now I only get a pimple every now and again. I highly recommend giving this product a try if you want some damn good honey or are like me and want to treat the problem so many other people face. Healthy for the body, moisturizing for the skin, and rich in flavor September 20, 2016 I personally use manuka honey for DIY face masks, but I also love to put it in my tea and smoothies to intensify the flavor. The consistency of this honey is thick and luxurious, and it moisturizes and calms down my irritated skin. Because the consistency is so thick, it is ideal for using as a face mask because it does not drip all over (although it tastes great if you lick it from your chin, haha). I usually mix it with matcha green tea powder or jasmine green tea to give the face mask an extra antioxidant boost. I am happy that the honey is stored in a dark container in order to preserve it and keep it from the sun; although I would prefer it to be in a dark glass jar instead of a dark plastic jar. Despite that, manuka honey is definitely worth the extra money for its wonderful body and skin benefits. Good for Skin cleansing September 19, 2016 Read on a website after following up on a You Tube Video, that you can use Honey to cleanse your face. After reading several articles, I found out that this brand was the best. So far so good. No complaints. You only need little bit as it is very thick. This container should last me 2 months.I cleanse morning and night. My face seems clearer and smoother. Never dry or dull. My skin was in good condition anyway, but I can see that my face looks refreshed. When I wear makeup, I cleanse with my other cleanser, to remove everything. As, the honey isn't good for removing make up. It also seems to help with the dark circles that are under my eyes. I don't look as tired. The results will be different for everyone. I also use it as a mask, once a week. I leave it on for about 10 minutes. I've only had it for about 2 weeks. I was on vacation for 8 days in the Pacific Northwest and it worked fine. I follow up with SPF moisturize, if I'm going to be out in the sun. Otherwise, I use Aragon oil as a moisturize or I use a small amount of olive oil and coconut oil to moisturize my face.I would purchase it again. It worked great! October 16, 2015 After spine surgery, I had a wound that was not healing. I was put on several antibiotics to no avail. My surgeon told me that if there was no appreciable healing by my next visit, they would have to remove all the hardware, use IV antibiotics, etc. I came home and did an internet search for anything that would help heal my wound. I came across this honey, and it is remarkable. When I went back in five days later, my wound had decreased from about the width of a quarter and around 3/8 inch deep to about the size of a dime, and just past skin deep. My surgeon was very impressed, and asked me what I had done. I wish I had a picture of his face when I told him about Manuka honey! I now keep two jars at all times - One for using in cooking, and the other instead of antibiotic ointment. My son wrecked his motorcycle and had a pretty bad road burn. After about a week it was looking pretty bad, so I finally convinced him to try it - He came over the next day and said he hated to tell me I was right, but the honey had already made a big difference in his leg. It also comes in small individual-size packets, which I take with me now whenever I travel. Many benefits to Manuka Honey! October 6, 2015 I want to tell every one about this honey, my friend is a R.N. and she is up on the latest findings. We were talking about a child that has eczema with MRSA and she said there is only one thing to do for that and it is rubbing Manuka Honey on that eczema. Now I am not involved in anything medical so I cannot say anymore but I know regular honey kills bacteria and can be used internally and externally for many conditions because I use it. If this info can help even one person then it was worth sharing. Using it for Anti-aging Skincare Routine February 1, 2015 I am a big fan of Manuka Honey for my anti-aging skincare routine. Though I've heard about its benefits for almost a decade, I finally purchased it for the first time after reading the Primal Skincare Guide by Liz Wolfe. She convinced me that I should just shell out the cash and get some.Pros: I've used it to treat blemishes (white heads) and as a twice weekly face mask. My skin feels more vibrant and glow-y after using it.Cons: I wouldn't eat it if you're using it for skincare, unless you separate it into two bottles. It doesn't taste very good. It's honey--so be careful to use a headband to keep your hair from getting stuck in it when doing a facial. If you have the money to splurge on yourself, get some Manuka Honey to replace your designer brand facials. You'll do your body a lot more good with this stuff! | 76% Yummy stuff May 25, 2017 Been using this for the last year with my yogurt and fruit in the morning. I enjoy the taste but it is distinct. It is supposed to have added health impacts. I feel it does help regulate digestion some. Great for healing December 5, 2016 This stuff is awesome for healing a variety of issues. It's antibacterial and healing properties are great! Can't say enough about it. Super Honey that cures all. No really. April 15, 2016 This honey. Where to begin? It is AMAZING. I have given this to my friends with the bacteria H. Pylori, acid reflux, and stomach discomfort. Each and every one of them loves it and swears by it. Is it expensive ? Oh goodness, yes. Does it work? A resounding YES. Is it worth it? 100% YES! This product is so good, and the taste is so delicious, it is simply worth every single penny. It has a color of liquid gold, smells somewhat minty, and is extremely viscous. This honey is only found in the top hills of New Zealand where the manuka plant grows, and the huge bees that fly up at that elevation, giving a world renown quality and flavor that is so unique, I promise you, you will not regret trying this out. As a longtime Amazon customer, I rely on reviews from the Amazon community when making buying decisions. That being said, I only believe in giving honest and unbiased reviews. (The only thing we've found to do better is a friend's recipe for a homemade herbal salve.) A little pricey, but well worth the money. Best price we found was Amazon. Have acne? Apply it to our face! October 12, 2015 I use this as a mask and it is absolutely amazing! I apply is directly to my face (sometimes with a little cinnamon) and leave it on for about 30 minutes then rinse off. The redness on my skin and pimples have diminished and my skin feels great. Honey has natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties which are exactly want people with acne need. Excellent taste and healing properties December 18, 2012 The honey has a wonderful taste - rich, creamy and strong, excellent with tea or pancakes (although it feels a bit of a sacrilege to be using it this way). We also use it very successfully to help heal small skin injuries common in a household containing a 5-year old; a small amount of this honey works wonders on cold sores, nose and lip irritations caused by a runny nose, small scratches and such and does not raise any complaints from the patient because it does not sting and tastes good if one happens to lick it off. | 79% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

The price has gone way up on this too. Raw honey has a lot of the same properties, remember that. Wild honey is very good as well. Tastes great and is loaded with nutrients. May 29, 2017 Wish it was not so expensive. All Manuka honey costs a lot, so it is not the seller's fault. I bought to help with my acne and did not ... February 29, 2016 I bought to help with my acne, as I had read a lot online on how much this had helped many girls that were breaking out. Definitely if you are going to try this buy from amazon and not from whole foods as there is a really big price difference. You can definitely tell that is honey is different then regular honey. It is messy to get used to putting on your face, because it is sticky and you need to make sure you whip the lid and edges otherwise it will get gross after a few uses. I honestly did not stick to the regiment long enough to see, as I started to break out more in areas that I hadn't before, this could of been a purging stage but I wasn't patient enough. I might purchase again and just try on my areas that are scars now with a bit of lemon juice, to see if it will help the collagen and pigmentation.I would try it out if you are a acne suffer as their are many great reviews I read claiming it helped, its all trial error and patience!! "Simply & incredibly delicious" February 4, 2016 Best described as- "Simply & incredibly delicious".I have been taking it for 1 1/2 weeks now 2X a day. I'm not quite sure as of yet if it's helping my esophagus issues as my brother has claimed; and have read from reviewers here. If nothing else I find it to be of the tastiest and expensive honeys around. Enjoy...'' Good stuff, just not quite good enough for what I needed. May 10, 2015 decent stuff; smells great. I just didn't get the astonishing wound-healing results that some people did. I freely admit the wound I have is bad, and so it's quite a challenge to help it heal up. I'll just keep looking though.I will keep it for smaller wounds. If I try it on one of those I'll update my review. Love it!!! January 3, 2014 I was a bit skeptical about this. First off, in the winter time my skin develops folliculitis from the heaters. To top it off, the folliculitis makes my acne flare. So, I bought this Manuka honey in hopes of alleviating the symptoms. It has helped tremendously. My folliculitis has dried up and is almost completely gone AND my acne has been tamed. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it does take a while for it to work. However, I'm sure my symptoms would persist for much longer if it wasn't for this honey. I'm always skeptical of using antibiotics and other harsh medicine just because my body never reacts well to them. I think buying this honey is worth the try. It's a natural and you have nothing to lose except a couple of $$. | 10% Four Stars June 12, 2017 Love this stuff. We buy it for ourselves and others of our family and acquaintance. Always keep this in stock March 22, 2017 LOVE Manuka honey!! This came same day as ordered. We used it when we were hit with the flu and it went to work immediately. Remember to use a plastic spoon when using Manuka or any other raw honey products as the metal can inhibit the enzymes. Will keep this in stock. It is good honey. Not sure about the healing abilities January 21, 2017 It is good honey. Not sure about the healing abilities, but feel good using it. I deduct a star due to price. Gave that up after a few months of using nightly and am now eating it on sourdough which is much better tasting than your regular honey. It works so well, I use it for everything ... May 27, 2015 It works so well, I use it for everything from minor burns and cuts, stomachaches, etc.Con: Price has gone up so much since I started buying these(I remember it was around $25 for the same size) but that's probably because of the limited supply with such high demand, it obviously works and more people are discovering its effectiveness. Manuka Honey July 29, 2014 I purchased this for my son who is going through chemo and radiation. With the loss of taste and mouth sores, its medicinal properties seems to be helping him. It was delivered promptly although it was not packed a securely as I would have preferred, it arrived without damage. | 14% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

Either way can't claim to be Manuka Honey +16 without being verified and certified by the New Zealand board. If you are getting this for skin or medical reasons you just have to go ahead and pay the extra $15 or so to know for a fact that you are getting what you are paying for. It's still good tasting honey so I'm going to use in my smoothies instead. Hope this helps. The taste is good. December 10, 2016 Okay, but no bright stars flashing. For the price I would not purchase again. The taste is good. I don't really know what this honey is. I ... February 13, 2016 I don't really know what this honey is. I wanted to try something new. The flavor is truly different and has some kind of aftertaste I don't even know how to describe. I giving it 3 starts because I don't know if maybe that is the intended flavor, if it is, it should be 5 stars with a little warning for people who don't know it. this one probably works just fine. I need something stronger than KFactor 16 -- ... February 4, 2016 If 24+ is too potent, this one probably works just fine. I need something stronger than KFactor 16 -- only reason for 3 star review. Tastes great. Has dubious healing powers. March 8, 2014 In a quest to find relief from cystic acne, I have left no stone unturned! Everything from sulfur to zinc, antibiotics to creams, I've used them all. Manuka honey, harvested from the hard working bees of far far away New Middle Zealearth, the magical nectar of the Manuka plant practically oozes from this honey.Does it work?Kinda. I mean, for skin conditions, it seemed to reduce some redness and swelling, but it's thick and sticky and can cause your skin to sweat under the suffocating glaze of honey. If mixed with other lotions or used sparingly, it appears to have some effect on my cystic acne and unexplained red patches, but for day to day acne it appeared to do NOTHING. All in all, I can't say it's much more than a placebo effect for my skin.Sometimes all you want is a placebo effect. | 5% Three Stars August 1, 2017 Rather small for the price but quality is of the essence when it comes to certain things its ok. July 24, 2017 different taste than the umf 20's. not gonna repeat because there's just too many other manuka honey's on the market to try. Sometimes it's sealing mouth has a pull mouth, sometimes it has not. I seriously doubt it's a fake product. Great product for the short-term. March 28, 2015 I got this for my husband because he was having throat issues and a friend said Manuka Honey was just what he needed. December 20, 2014 Honey has good flavor, we'll have to wait and see about the long term affects of using it.HOWEVER, the price is way high, I found a Manuka honey locally for $25.00, same size bottle. I need a 20 I find the US brand Raw Honey has better quality and way better price February 13, 2015 I have no idea why this honey has high rating. I purchased it once and regretted. It's not pure honey. It has sugar, and the bottle is tiny comparing to the size. I find the US brand Raw Honey has better quality and way better price. OK January 10, 2015 The seal was broken when I got it for some reason & I didn't notice that it did anything for my stomach which is why I purchased it. But I did like the taste, just not sure I will pay that much for honey again :) | 3% Two Stars February 13, 2017 this was purchased to help with my son's acne, but did not work as we had heard/thought! I ordered this without any knowledge about the Manuka honey ... February 23, 2016 I ordered this without any knowledge about the Manuka honey. After doing some researches, I really don't believe this is the real manuka honey, or at least 100% manuka honey. There's no such rating as Kfactor in Manuka honey except for the wedderspoon brand, and Wedderspoon is also not certified with UMF Honey association which you can find here(...)Just make sure you do some research before placing your order to make sure you're buying the real Manuka honey. Not sure January 20, 2016 Seal was broke on one of the two I ordered, it's very cloudy in color not sure if its old or what , doesn't taste very good at all - not sure what its suppose to look and taste like so I can't give a fair reviewApart from the seal was lifted up Very slight benefit. August 15, 2015 This product was not particularly helpful in resolving H. Pylori. It did not make symptoms worse, and it provided a modest benefit when taken before meals. The same result probably could have been accomplished by consuming a cracker or other small item of food. dark and tastes strongly sweet, with a slight grainy texture December 31, 2014 There needs to be more transparency, consistency and governmental oversight in the marketing of manuka honey and its potency claims across the board. Unfortunately, this includes one of the most popular and well-reviewed brands on Amazon.Note that the "Active 16+" label is not an indication of its UMF, MGO, or non-peroxide activity (NPA). It is unclear what is "active" here, or how this compares to other types of honey. How to explain the recent study in the UK finding that there was no detectable NPA in this honey - so how to distinguish this from other honeys? In short, I have questions about the nature of the product, given recent and ongoing media attention to the misleading advertising claims made and perpetuated by many manuka honey manufacturers. What distinguishes this product from table honey, and by what order of magnitude? I don't see any reason to pay inflated amounts to a multimillion dollar industry that does little to accurately and responsibly inform consumers, while profiteering from confusion and lack of industry regulation and governmental oversight of what constitutes "active manuka honey".Regarding the contents in the jar, it's cloudy, dark and tastes strongly sweet, with a slight grainy texture. Had a bad reaction on wound from the honey May 24, 2014 I was very excited about trying this product for a variety of uses after all the reviews. As timing would have it I had a small wound the size of a pea that looked like it was starting to get infected at the time I received the honey. Initially I had cold feet using the honey, so I first used peroxide followed with epsom salt soaks the first day and it was improving. I than spent several hours reading more reviews and doing more researching on this honey and I learned this particular brand was not authenticated by UMF . That concerned me, but with all the reviews on this particular product I wasn't seeing anything "bad" for some it did nothing, and many said it did wonders for their wounds and amazed doctors on quickness of healing with minimal scars for wounds much worse than mine so I decided to give it a try thinking worse it would do is nothing. I put a thin layer on the wound and the area surrounding my wound and covered it with a 4x4 inch sterile pad and taped pad down to prevent leaking of honey. After 4 hours I took it off and panicked as the entire 4x4 inch area was blistered and enflamed and the wound was worsened. I washed the honey off and went back to my epsom salt soaks followed with bacitracin ointment and sterile pad. Now another day later the rash/blisters are improving, but it is still worse than before the use of this honey. I am not sure if I am just one of the rare people that are allergic to Manuka Honey or if the product is poor quality and not real Manuka and thus I had a reaction. I don't know if its worth it to me to spend another $40+ dollars on a UMF verified Manuka Honey and risk another reaction to find out? My advice to someone wanting to try Manuka Honey is to buy UMF verified honey and than do a test patch on non wounded area of skin to make sure there is no reaction before putting it on an already wounded area and potentially worsening a wound along with a reaction like I did. | 2% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 6% Not worth the money! May 30, 2017 Nothing special and way, way, WAY too expensive for such a tiny amount. It's no different than the cheapy stuff at the grocery store. I really like Wedderspoon Manuka honey and use it regularly February 1, 2017 My mistake...I really like Wedderspoon Manuka honey and use it regularly. I always buy the 17.6 oz size from Wedderspoon and pay around $34 for it. Recently, I mistakenly ordered the 8.8 oz size from another vendor. Big mistake! Thought I was getting the larger amount for around $31. Well, I'll be more careful in the future. I've just paid almost the full price for over 17 oz and got only 8.8. Thought Amazon pricing and vendors were more reliable and honest with their pricing. Be careful, Manuka honey fans! You can easily pay way too much! Good Taste but No Benefits July 22, 2015 Did nothing for me! No anti-bacterial action. I was testing it for white tongue. The taste it great though. ... product with the intentions that it would be a great mask/great product to moisturize and potentially help my eczema April 29, 2015 I purchased this product with the intentions that it would be a great mask/great product to moisturize and potentially help my eczema. I have done much research and could hardly find any negative reviews or bad reactions. I went ahead and mixed the manuka honey with oatmeal and yogurt. After removing, my skin felt soft but overnight, I broke out immensely with several dots on both sides of my cheeks. At first, I thought they were just a typical break out but it didn't feel like acne, just dots. I waited a day or so before trying again because I wasn't sure if it was the yogurt (I have tried an oatmeal, egg white, and normal honey mask before and it never did this). Last night, I used the manuka honey on my face for about 10 minutes (by itself) to test. My face started itching and I rinsed my face. My entire chin had raised rashes on it, so with conclusion, I believe I am allergic to something in this particular honey. I don't want to prevent people from thinking it's a bad product but warn to test a small spot on their arm or side of face first. I am a little disappointed due to the price of the honey (however, it's not bad compared to other versions). | 6% Had high hopes with this honey March 7, 2017 After reading all the posts, I had high hopes that this would help with my health issues. I took like suggested by other members, and even applied on my skin but no improvement. This did have kind of a funny taste, so maybe it was just a bad batch of this particular honey.I may try another brand and see if I notice any other improvement.I'll wait out the rest of this jar and update if things change. 17.6 oz?? Not even 8 oz June 20, 2016 Not sure if it works. But it's not 17 0z. I would never pay 35.00 for 4oz of honey. My body's reaction to the product. March 15, 2015 Terrible reaction. Extreme burning to the point I could not tolerate & had to wash product from wounds. I really wanted to love this product February 28, 2015 Unfortunately, after performing thorough research I have come to find that Wedderspoon does not distribute genuine Manuka honey. I really wanted to love this product. Product arrived with broken seal and inner seal not affixed to opening. December 28, 2012 I'm not sure what I am going to do now. I received this honey today and immediately noticed the outer pink and black paper seal was no longer intact, next, I noticed the plastic seal around the bottle had also been unsealed, and lastly, the paper seal on top of the honey itself had been peeled off and was laying on the mouth of the jar!! I immediately went online to the seller's website, and discovered the item is not returnable. I sent a note to the seller as surely whomever packaged this most certainly realized the seal was broken, and since this is a nonreturnable item, I can only guess this item was tampered with by ????. Wow. Utterly unacceptable!!!! | 2% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
