Five Star Reviews: | 73% Amazing design. May 10, 2017 I never thought i'd rave about putting together a piece of boxed furniture. First of all, the components for the bed come tucked into the head board. Very compact and an amazing idea for being easier to transport down the road. All of the screws were already screwed into their respective locations so I only had to back them out a little to slip another piece in and then tighten them down. This takes away the chance of missing screws from a baggie and trying to figure out which screws go where. They include all tools needed and a few screws if by some horrible stroke of luck one somehow goes missing. Having all the slats connected by cloth strips and secured with velcro is genius. The frame is amazingly solid. After about 6 months of use it is only every so slightly squeaky, and I'm sure i could fix this. It looks fantastic, the faux leather is soft and comfortable if bumped into. For the price i don't know what you could get that would be better. Quick and easy to assemble but may need extra support braces. April 6, 2016 Purchased the king size platform and so far I love it. Shipped in a single box and was very quick and easy to assemble (you can watch a time-lapse video of me putting the whole things together.) It has a good 3/8-1/2 inch of padding and with the headboard just over 4 inches wide it's a great spot to toss your phone, book or glasses within easy reach of where you lay. I've read other reviews about the metal leg supports moving or giving out. After a couple nights use I checked and noticed a slight lean on the center supports so I'll keep an eye on that and if it worsens I'll brace them. For the low price and the free Prime shipping on a product that's over 100 lbs I won't complain if I have to spend an extra $20 to add the extra support. Overall for the ease of assembly, price and design, it was a great purchase. Don't let the bad reviews make you second guess! March 11, 2016 I don't usually take the time to write reviews for anything but I always read them before buying something. There are a lot of mixed reviews on this product which deterred me from it initially but in the end I ordered it and I love it! It came undamged and with no pieces missing! The fake leather is beautiful and soft! I'm a 5'4" 130lb woman and I put this together with ease and a one year old running around. Ive had it for about a month and I've been extra ruff with it to see if it held up nicely ( and I mean like jumping on it ruff). So far so good I have yet to have a single problem! I'm sure they have duds that they ship out which can be frustrating if you get a dud. I am just here to write to the people like me who are just looking for some reassurance. I got a great bed! P.s. Don't mind my no pants child in the picture (: sweeet December 16, 2015 Very nice unit. Wanted to replace box spring for my latex mattress to see if that would help with more support for mattress itself and less back pain. So far so good. I have a qween sized metal frame that worked just fine, but not the most pleasing thing to look at. And it made the room look cheap. So I had to get my big boy pants on and time to grow up a little and be an adult for a bit. Well this unit did the trick in both departments. Looks awesome in the room, changes the whole room now, and there is more support for mattress as well. No more squeaks from metal frame or maybe from box spring. This unit is sturdy. yep comes in one box, all the stuff is zipped up in the headboard. Instructions are pretty forward. Not sure if the people that had problems putting it together cant follow the pictures or just like to leave bad comments in reviews, but it is very simple. A little time consuming to screw in all the parts but it not hard. I put a 20 led strip on the bottom now, it looks pimp Amazing in all aspects April 24, 2015 I just got this bed setup last night. We were using just a basic metal platform frame before this. The first thing I noticed was just how well packaged this bed was. Everything comes in one box, with all the pieces contained within a zippered pouch on the backside of the headboard.. Genius!The pieces themselves are very solid with pre-installed metal brackets for support. The + style middle support is all metal as well. This made be feel very confident in this bed holding up to shifts and weight.The "leather" feels about as good as you can expect faux leather to feel. It's padded obviously, but it feels nice.. especially for this price point. The bed as a whole looks absolutely amazing. Does it look like something that would cost you $800 at the furniture store? no.. but it doesn't look like it was $250 either... Assembly was a breeze.. instructions were clear and it took me just shy of an hour.Overall, this bed is amazing.. especially for this price point. Great frame for the price. Updated 2017 December 26, 2014 This bed frame arrived today and took me about an hour to assemble. As others have mentioned, it is nice that everything comes packaged in a zipper pocket behind the headboard. Also it is very sturdy. May 13, 2017 Absolutely love this cover! It serves its purpose very well. Its super thin and is not noisy. It has saved our mattress multiple times from being stained from our dog that has a sensitive stomach and occasional has times when she vomits. And of course she likes to vomit on our bed, because that's where she feels the most secure when she doesnt feel well. I did read a few bad review before buying this that it does not provide complete water proof abilities and was hesitant, but tried it anyway. I dont know why other people were experiencing non water/liquid proof results because this cover has been a life saver for us and my photos are proof of this; and sorry for the pics being gross. My dog actually vomited directly on the cover after I was in the process of a sheet change, which made it perfect for me to take a few quick pictures of this cover in action!When accidents do happen I dont like to wash the whole cover in the washer, I Just hand wash the area with the dirty spot directly in the tub and hang it to dry. I have washed it in the washer and dried it in the dryer, but I know the more I do that the quicker it will most likely wear out, so I recommend hand washing the area where the accident occurs and letting it hang dry.A True Story November 24, 2016 I bought this mattress cover for our bed in our brand new travel trailer since it was fairly inexpensive, claimed to be water proof, and had great reviews. I thought that since we weren't going to be using the trailer all that often, I didn't need to buy an expensive mattress cover and a cheap one should work just fine. I had no idea how desperately I was going to need this.I was moving some items from our house into our trailer, and had to take several trips so I kept running back and forth. One of the minor issues with our trailer, that we are getting adjusted by the dealership next week, is that the screen door latch doesn't securely hold the screen door closed. When I was running back and forth between the house and the trailer, occasionally the door would swing open. No big deal, or so I thought. I locked up the trailer and went on my way.Eight days later, I got into the trailer again. I noticed a few things out of place, which made me wary. I started glancing around, when I noticed glowing eyes staring at me from the lower bunk bed. After recovering from my shock, I discovered that a stray cat had found its way into the trailer, and its only opportunity to get in had been 8 days prior. It was amazing that it was still alive with no food and no water. After I coaxed it out of the trailer with some food, I set about to find where the cat had done its business for 8 days. I found it almost immediately. One could not miss the urine stain that spanned almost the entire width of our queen bed. I threw out our sheets and prepped myself for the looming reality that our bed was ruined. I stripped the bed of the mattress pad and couldn't find a stain on the mattress. I smelled the bed and could not detect urine odor at all, and I am super sensitive to the smell of cat urine. This mattress pad saved our brand new mattress, even with the onslaught of 8 days of all the urine a cat could pee on it. I am very pleased with this pad and would definitely recommend it! Protected mattress through birth! September 2, 2016 My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly....so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess I arrived to. For those who haven't, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let's just say I was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once I'd bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I got this because I was fostering a litter of puppies who kept urinating on the bed (I know, I shouldn't have brought them on.. But honestly you should've seen how they begged to cuddle on the bed). I wanted to protect my mattress. This was easy to put on and has deep pockets that easily fit over a King bed with a pillow top mattress.In the photos attached, I spilled a large cup of water on my bed (accidentally!). It was soaked up by this mattress protector and my mattress was TOTALLY dry. Not even slightly moist. I also felt the bottom of the mattress pad (the side that lays against the mattress itself) and it was dry as well. This material is well made in that it absorbs on top, but protects on bottom to ensure moisture does not leak through. It's impressive, really. A revolution for urinary incontinence! September 24, 2014 As a U.S. wounded warrior with a spinal cord injury, I suffer from incontinence. Despite wearing Depend briefs, there's sometimes "excess" leakage, which has previously done considerable damage to my mattress. I've used numerous other mattress pads, and they bunch up and get pushed out from under me in my sleep. However, my number one complaint was the breathability aspect (or lack thereof), which routinely made me wake up drenched in sweat and subsequently despise my incontinence even more!After searching around, I came upon this product and I've been using it for a couple weeks now. It has endured numerous "incidents" and never once has anything leaked through to the mattress. But its breathability is outstanding. It feels SO much better. Just this one product alone has changed my feelings about my incontinence. It was worth every single penny, and then some!Just a quick side note: I was concerned about ordering this in a queen size because I have a queen size pillow top mattress PLUS a four inch memory foam topper, so I have to use king size sheets in order for the fitted sheet to fit right. But I took the plunge and ordered it in a queen anyways, and it fits perfectly! Works better than I ever imagined! January 7, 2013 We got this in anticipation of co-sleeping with our first baby. My husband (smart man) put it on a week before my due date just in case my water broke. Little did we know that I would have a precipitous labor (very fast) and we wouldn't even make it to the hospital. We delivered the baby with just the two of us and in the bed with this mattress topper. Birth is a very messy process. This saved our very expensive thermarest mattress! The second one had a tiny bit of damage, small dent on the fri t if the headboard and a tear in the back of it but we felt not dufficient enough to have to send it back for a second time.Since then however so far so good, a sturdy bed.Really wanted a king sized bed and we achieved it on a budget as this bed has really worked out well for us. Other reviews said it takes 30 minutes to assemble. It took me a bit longer. The hardest part? Getting the box in the house! It was too heavy for me to get in by myself so I tore apart the box on my porch and took it inside piece by piece. So darn heavy! I finally got it all out and assembled tonight. Got half way done and realized there was damage to the top of the headboard :(. If it wasn't in a visible spot, I wouldn't have cared. I contacted customer service and after getting to my third person, they agreed to make it right by sending me a new one. (Second person tried to tell me I had to return the old one..... not really sure how that would have been possible...)Besides that issue, the frame seems really sturd and I'm looking for and to sleeping on it soon.On a related note, I ordered the Zinus green tea 12inch mattress on Prime day too. Just unrolled it on the frame and am waiting until tomorrow for it to expand. As of right now it doesn't appear to be fitting neatly in the frame but I'll see what happens when it fully expands. Easy build, weak slats April 5, 2017 This product is worth it's value. I purchased this at $260 and it does exactly what I need it to, which is support my body when I lay to rest or use my laptop.However, I cannot say that it is safe for extracurricular activities. The main reason is that the wooden slats are too thin to absorb the weight and impact therein.I do not recommending kneeling on the bed of you weigh at least 163lbs (which I do) because the slats begin to strain slightly and you will hear it. Also, I do not recommend sitting at the edge of the bed where the mattress meets the footboard. Same issue.Overall, I am overly satisfied with my purchase because it does look good and putting it together was too easy. I do recommend this product with the cautions mentioned above. A nice affordable item. February 17, 2016 This is a very nice product! It came with all the accessories zipped into the headboard which is convenient. The item arrived on time! I ordered the king size It was easy to assemble my husband finished it about 30 minutes. The bed arrived with two punctures in the back of the headbord. I also had two minor punctures on the sides of the bed. Overall it's nice just could use some bubble wrap on some of the items to prevent damage. I would reccommend this product. Wow, cheapest bed I've seen.- I was worried about this purchase at first, but after putting it together, I was really surprised how great it looked.- Solid construction and insanely easy to assemble.Cons:- From my experience, faux leather starts showing it's wear pretty quickly. I've had this for almost a year now and it still shows good with 0 signs of wear. However, I do try to keep off the leather sides as much as possible since I am not sure how durable this is. They are very easy to line up and attach July 14, 2015 We ordered this bed due to moving from a queen size to a king size and we wanted to find a decent looking low priced bed. It took a little while to get to us (compared to the typical amazon purchase), but it was also over 80 pounds. The contents arrived undamaged and I opened the box to find only the headboard. I unzipped the back of the headboard to find all of the parts needed for the rest of the bed.I put the bed together in about one hour and after tightening the screws down a couple of different times, the bed frame was solid. The bed is very simple to put together as you only need one tool (I'm sure in most cases) which is included in the box. The slats attach to the bed frame via Velcro. They are very easy to line up and attach.I put my new 10" mattress on the slats and laid down. It is extremely comfortable compared to having the mattress on the carpet. The slats provide great support while slightly softening the feel of the mattress. My wife and I both laid down on the bed to test it out and we found that the bed felt solid. With a foam mattress, we couldn't feel each other turn over or get up out of the bed.This was overall a great buy. I do recommend this bed to others who might be interested. I am giving four stars due to only one con. I could have had the bed together in about 30 minutes, however I had to grind down a piece of metal to be able to attach the metal cross-member under the mattress. | 12% Softer than expected, but working September 20, 2017 I have a really firm memory foam mattress from Ikea, and while it gave me the back support I needed I was often waking up with an arm asleep or hip pain because it was too firm. I've had this for a few weeks now.I expected this to be softer than my mattress but a bit firmer than it is, so it's taken some getting used to because it's so soft. I don't have the hip and arm problems anymore, and my lower back feels okay, but I'm still trying to figure out the best pillow to go with it for my neck. Good Mattress Protector August 13, 2017 It's difficult to give a review at this stage of using this item as not much time has passed. What I can state is that it appears to be of the same quality as the first one purchased when the bed was new. It does look identical, but is not the same brand. I do not find it hot or crinkly as others have stated, and we do not have air conditioning! If it lasts as long as the first mattress protector (about 7 years), I will be very happy. Also, this one was $10.00 less expensive than the first, so that is a plus. I would recommend giving this product a try. Does the job. May 28, 2017 I tried sleeping on this without washing it first. Bad idea. Omg I was sweating buckets. I then washed it and it's a bit better. Still not as breathable as my mattress without it.. But it's not a torturous thing as it had been. But that's not why I've detracted a star. My sheets will not stay put with this thing on! I thought it might be the new mattress that we bought.. But no.. I pulled the cover off to wash it and didn't put it back on for a few days and my sheets were fine. As soon as I put the cover back, everything was sliding everywhere again. Oh well. It does what it's meant to do, that's what I need. I can deal with the sheet problem. It's like magic! March 3, 2017 This was very easy to put on my daughter's bed, and it fit perfectly! It's very soft and not crinkly, and with a regular sheet on top of it you forget it's even there. I was a little disappointed at first because this is a very thin, flat protector (not fluffy or padded like most) but I have come to like it more because it lays flatter under sheets and is easier to wash. If your bed already has a pillow top or other fluffy surface this may work better than one of the fluffy ones. The size is plenty big for my mattress and fits well to cover the entire top of the mattress with a little overlap on the edges. Make sure to dry it on low for best results and not to damage the waterproof material inside. Nice cover June 12, 2016 Bought this as a mattress protector for a new foam mattress. The cover feels a bit like terry cloth, except very thin.It is deep enough to fit over a twelve inch mattress with room to spare. There is no "vinyl" smell at all. Three Star Reviews: | 4% Aesthetically Pleasing, Troubleshooting Required August 4, 2017 Aesthetically pleasing but be prepared to troubleshoot. The dimensions of the side pieces that fit in to the metal T bar frame were not cut to the lengths they were supposed to. I am no stranger to building furniture, however, since these pieces are covered in faux leather, I could not cut them. The solution to this was to carefully hammer the side slats in to the frame, as they were too big. This left small cosmetic damages, barely noticeable. Perhaps this was an isolated incident, I have reached out to the company via personal email about this issue and have yet to receive a reply. The legs are a hollow plastic, easily swapped out with pre-made legs from Home Depot. I wouldn't necessarily tell customers not to purchase this item, but I would advise looking at something like IKEA, that way if you have an issue like I did, you can get a full or partial refund (return it to the store). This being from an Amazon seller and weighing 105 lbs, it is not worth packing up and sending back.Side Note: I use this frame with this mattress (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005A4OO80/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I would highly recommend this mattress. Low cost, quality is not great on this bed. Good for a temporary solution or maybe for a spare room. June 11, 2017 The shipping of this package is very cool, I have to say that. Everything comes zipped inside the headboard in one big thin rectangular box. I paired this with an 8" thick foam zinus mattress which is very firm and feels great. the main problems I have with this bedframe are: that you can feel the bump in the middle of the king size mattress where the crossbar is and the crossbar falls out sometimes when you flop onto the bed. I'm not talking jumping on the bed, just anything other than sitting down politely on the bed stands a high risk of rolling the center beam out of its poorly designed screw mounts and then you have to take the bed apart and re tighten it. if they had just made a 360 degree hole in the bracket instead of a u shaped bracket which is open on one side of the screw, this would not happen. but I guess you get what you pay for. its a cheap bed I will probably use for a year. Well it lasted a year June 7, 2017 Bought this March 2016 and it's June 2017 now, we just had to throw it out, we originally purchased this for my 11 year old sons room and initially I thought it was a decent purchase, fairly easy to assemble, and the price was right. However after only a little over a year the leg holding up the headboard broke away and the metal thing that you screw it into was pertruding out, also the slats that hold up the mattress are bowing, my son is a skinny kid about 70lbs so this shouldn't be happening. If you're ok with a short term disposable bed or maybe for a guest room that isn't used often this would be ok,otherwise just save your money and get something that's going to last. Was missing some hardware that we had to go to Lowe's to get, and there were 2 tears in the leather when we unboxed it (didn't use a knife or scissors to open box for this very reason). YOU SHOULD KNOW! August 15, 2016 There are metal bar feet in the center on each side of the bed THAT SHOW. So if you enter your room at the side of your bed as we do, the metal feet that do not match the other feet, show and looks... not so good. They are not under the bed, they are in line with and in between the other two feet. The rest of the bed is quite nice and I try not to let it bother me, but it really does affect the whole look. I wish there had been a side view in the photos. Disappointed. Good bed frame, but could be improved. June 7, 2016 Nice bed frame and assembly was relatively pain free. The slats were in good shape and have stood up for several months now without issue. Only 3 stars due to the tolerances, as everything was not flush-fit. Also, one corner of the headboard is ripped and looks really terrible, but I did not go through the return process for a cosmetic issue. Improve on your tolerances and ensure there is no damage to the product before shipping, and this is easily a 5* product. | 3% Definitely not noiseless October 31, 2017 Purchased this as I recently bought a new memory foam mattress. I bought this because of the high ratings and because it was advertised as a quiet mattress protector. It definitely does have a waterproof layer which makes significant nose while moving around. It's not as loud as other matteress protectors, just disappointing. It's disappointing because I really liked the large size of these sheet October 12, 2017 I have a 16 year old Chihuahua who has started to have trouble holding his bladder, and I purchased this to protect my carpet. It seemed to work well at first, but it does not appear to be holding up to repeated washings. When I lifted it up tonight, the carpet was damp, and upon closer inspection, I saw that the bottom layer appeared to have worn through in spots. It has probably been washed about 15-20 times since I purchased it, and it definitely does not appear to keep the carpet underneath as dry as it did when I first started using it. It's disappointing because I really liked the large size of these sheet, as it covers nearly my entire living room carpet. Nice protector September 29, 2017 I swear I selected a California king but somehow got a queen. It's terry cloth, which I don't like, but it doesn't make the bed too hot or anything. Although I ordered the wrong size, we used it anyway because we have pets. It does the job, but I didn't do enough research. Two Star Reviews: | 3% Item arrived damaged. March 21, 2017 Item arrived damaged. (leather was torn) didn't want to send it back, as it is quite heavy. Was given the option fo sending it back or receiving a small credit. Took the credit to avoid further hassles. Looks great but not built well March 1, 2017 I honestly wanted to give this frame a better review but I cant. The frame looks great and my mattress fits on it well and for a time, it held up nicely, but after having to adjust\fix it for the 4th time, I have to move on. The slat supports have broken loose on both sides due to the use of nails and not screws. The middle frame support wont stay in place, it very slowly begins to tilt to one side making my mattress feel like it has a divot in the middle. I have fixed the support bar more times than I care to remember at this point and the slat supports have been nailed back into place on multiple occasions. I travel a lot for work so I feel like I spend more time fixing the frame versus sleeping on it. All in all, great looking frame but its just not built well. Wood slats are over 3" June 15, 2016 I received my frame yesterday. Installation was a breeze (took me about 45 minutes). The quality of the frame itself is surprisingly good for the price. I am satisfied with everything except the wood slats. My previous bed frame is Malm, by Ikea and their wood slats are thick and have no bend. The wood slats included with the Zinus flex very easily and seems like it a kid can karate chop it and break it easily! No exaggeration. I wouldn't mind the price point being higher to have higher quality wood slats. MINUS 1 STAR here. Another disappointment about my purchase is that the seller claims the spacing between the wood slats are 3". I am not sure if I received the wrong wood slats but the spacing on my frame is slightly over 4.5" and in some parts, closer to 4.75". I bought a Leesa mattress to go with this frame and they said wood slats are fine except they can not be more than 3" apart. VERY disappointed with the seller being dishonest. MINUS 2 STARS here. I will contact them to see what they can do. If It wasn't too much trouble, I would return the frame but it looks like I will have to spend extra cash to purchase plywood to support the mattress correctly.UPDATE: After a week of owning the frame, one of the slats already cracked on me. Very disappointed. I went to a local lumber store and bought 12 pieces 3.5" x .75" pine to replace the original ones. Amazon reimbursed me for the costs, so big thanks to Amazon for taking care of me. Wish it would've worked February 29, 2016 I wanted to love this but after having this for well over a month, I have to say that I wish I would've spent more on a bed frame.The shipment itself was very fast. The only damage noted was a tear in the back of the bed frame where it's zipped and that didn't matter to me since no one will see that part of the frame. The bed is very easy to put together and can be done with 2 people. It is very heavy so we just bought it upstairs piece by piece.The reason for the 2 star rating is due to the middle bar support. No matter how much we fix it, it always bends and never stays put. I also don't know if it's because we have hardwood floors and not carpet in the room but the bed constantly moves and slides and doesn't stay put. We have it pushed against the wall and every morning we would have to move the bed back towards the wall. There's a good 6 inch gap that we would notice from the wall. So if you toss and turn, this is not the bed frame for you.It is very elegant and beautiful but it just didn't work out for us. I'm now on a mission to get the bed to stay put. I have tried placing a rug under the bedframe under all the post and that hasn't helped. I'm not sure what else I can come up with to make it stay. Not a durable bed frame! January 3, 2016 This bed frame is very modern looking and easy to put together. My rating is because cheap wood is used in the frame and the screws do not hold the frame together well. It is not durable for a king size bed. After using the bed for only 3 months, one corner of the bed doesn't hold anymore. The screws to hold the wood in the frame were too short and if any weight is put, the corner falls through. Also the middle metal bar and legs that supports the middle of the frame always loosens from the screws and doesn't stay put. It either slides to the left or right and again doesn't provide enough support for a king size bed. Unfortunately we cannot return or exchange at this point but at least wanted to share true experience before anyone purchases this frame. Don't expect it to last you long at all! August 15, 2015 It has been an ordeal ordering this product 3-4 weeks ago ,It was shipped from CA got it a week later carried it to the bed room on the 2nd floor (pretty heavy) opened the package and all the stuff was broken , had to bring it down package and call Amazon for a replacement which came another week later.This time opened and checked it for any breakage before we carried to the bedroom . Looked good but the side support wood came off that very night ,now I did not want to send it back again and wait another week for it to arrive and cannot carry it back down. Used glue to fix it . Today morning the entire support wood on the same side came off so had to use the glue again to fix it .Basically it is cheap wood with cheap fixtures but the exterior looks brilliant , I have bought CASPER mattress and wanted something to look good in my bedroom so this is what im stuck with .Apart from the fixtures there is a metal support which would balance but the side support wood is terrible.Once the package arrives open and check before carrying it around . | 2% Wish it worked for us! July 13, 2017 I purchased a tuft & needle mattress and of course I needed a new mattress protector. I decided to go with this one, ignoring some reviews of how hot this protector got. The first night with this protector, my boyfriend woke up 3 times dripping sweat. I didnt experience this. Yet today I was laying on it for a few hours (being lazy on my new mattress lol) and I felt like a hot sensation on my butt and back. I decided to remove the protector to see what was causing this. Once I removed it, the problem went away. I wish it worked for me like it did to others. I live in Miami, where it's always hot and humid so I don't want to feel it while I'm laying on my bed!!! Lol will be returning. Not what you think.... May 16, 2017 Not what you think....this is not a substantial cover - flimsy and thin. Barely covers the mattress (full) that I have which is a standard full size for my three year old (crib converts to full). Still will have to look for a bed chuck to ensure the accidents don't seep through. I only kept this because i had nothing for when the bed arrived. A more think cover and fuller corner piece/fabric to ensure its secured to the mattress would have been nice. Can't believe all these reviews... very odd. Per the instructions here and on the packaging, I started by washing and drying protector. Before the end of the two week period, I washed it per the instructions 3 separate times.During my two week test, I woke up numerous times on several nights with either by back or stomach covered in sweat. While the waterproofing appears to be effective, the mattress protector is not "cool" -- it is quite warm and substantially disrupted my sleep. After replacing it with a semi-waterproof cotton cover from Target, I have not had any issues with getting too hot.To reiterate (since I suspect SafeRest will automatically reply telling me to do so), I washed the cover several times per the instructions. Washing it does not solve the issue with it holding too much body heat. Too hot, otherwise would've been exactly what I was looking for April 28, 2017 It was too hot. I keep my apartment relatively cool but I'd wake up in the middle of the night and it would feel like I was sleeping on a heating pad. The front of my body would be cold and my back would be hot and sweaty. I tried it for a few weeks before I got frustrated when I couldn't fall asleep and took it off. I could immediately tell a difference in the temperature. I sleep on a foam mattress so it might be fine on a spring mattress.Pros: it fit my mattress perfectly and did not make any crinkling noise when I was moving around. Other than the temperature problem I couldn't even tell it was there. Makes a loud crinkle noise under your sheets! October 27, 2016 I'm not sure why this mattress protector gets such high reviews... it makes a lot of noise under the sheets and gives the bed a plastic feel to it. When laying down and turning over, it makes crinkle noises, and pretty loud too! There are many other mattress protectors out there that purposefully eliminate this noise without sacrificing protection. I have no doubt that this protector will protect your mattress... but you shouldn't have to sacrifice a nice soft feel and a no cheap-sounding noise to get that protection! There's better products out there so I'll be returning this one July 14, 2016 I ordered a queen for my obviously queen bed and was surprised to see that it did not fit. It was too big. If all parts weren't included, the ad should've stated that. Now, my old bed is already taken apart, and I can't get my new bed together because they forgot to include all the screws.Additionally, don't call customer support during business hours and expect a live person. I called at 1:30 pm their time. Three times. No one came to the phone. I was forced to leave a message. I'm hoping for a call back. In the meantime, it looks like i'm stuck sleeping on my couch until I can get parts.I wish I had read other (negative) reviews. It seems this isn't an isolated incident. Low quality support July 8, 2017 Had this bed for less then 2 years and since like 6 months I'm it's had issues with the legs in the middle and sides giving way, it also sinks down in the middle. It's the most uncomfortable frame I've ever owned. Causing my wife and I to have to lay in an exact spot facing a certain way in order to not feel like we're siding towards the middle. Assembly parts not included June 5, 2017 Not happy already. Product did not come with any of the assembly parts. It came with one Allen wrench and one of each part that is needed. So apparently you have to go to the hardware store and buy the rest of the parts. So I already took my old bed apart and I'm trying to put my new one together quick and then go to bed but apparently I'm going to be sleeping on the couch tonight because all hardware stores are closed until morning. September 21, 2015 The Bed frame is very weak. One of the Slats holder on the bed frame is with cheap quality. one of the wooden blocks that supports the slats broke in half and tore out of the frame. . I fixed it using some extra screws from Home depot, but still it is not holding the weight. We are not heavy people, but the frame is not with holding less than 150 pounds also. October 12, 2017 It's 5am and have been up for the past 2 hours cleaning my new mattress and sheets. I thought this protector was 100% waterproof but its not. My mattress is damp and smells slightly like urine from a rare occurance my son had an accident.
