HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all breastfeeding mamas!
May 28, 2017
Lightweight, washable, and very easy to use!!! The "window" on top helps me see my baby without anyone else seeing anything. It doesn't get too hot inside either (in San Diego weather). It's one of my favorite baby purchases :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all breastfeeding mamas!
Great for breastfeeding mothers
July 16, 2016
The product was packaged neatly and arrived on time. The cover has a very nice print and seems to be made well. I like that it is bigger and covers more than some similar products i have tried, making it more useful and easier to use in public if necessary. (I don't find breastfeeding in public very appropriate, but to each his own. I am not offended by others who do, i simply choose not to do it myself).

I am impressed with the stiff plastic around the neck. It bends to keep the cover away from the baby's face and makes a perfect little hole that the mother is able to look down and see her childs face withoit revealing herself to the rest of the world.

Overall, very good product. Would definitely recommend.
Love this

I personally love this nursing cover its the best one that I've had. It's affordable cheaper than others that I have purchased and I love the wire because I can see baby and she can see me and it is also breathable baby is not totally covered I must say its not good for an active baby as all nursing covers aren't because they tend to move a lot and they want to look around so the cover ends up exposing you if you are in public but for 0-5 months is the best age for covers.

Love this! Aside from the baby trying to get it off her head whenever I use it. My favorite part is the stiff plastic insert that props up the front of the cover so that you can have a nice view of baby and see what you're doing! Before I got this cover, I'd use blankets and it was so hard for me to blindly latch the baby, but this nursing cover gives you the view while preserving your modesty at the same time! Definitely recommend!
Great product!

Have used this from day 1 in the hospital. I like how the top of the apron has a firm strip that allows you to be able to 'tent' the apron and see your baby as you nurse! Provides great coverage.

I love this nursing pillow! After trying other pillows this is far superior! I actually gave away a few others that were gifted to me and purchased two of these. What I really enjoyed that was not possible with other pillows was being able to use the "football hold" to BF. B/C of my body shape and other factors It was the only position I could nurse in and it just isnt possible with the others. Of course you can also "cradle hold" easily with this pillow as well. I love the clip and it was always easy to tighten to hold my LO in place. I always stored my phone in the pocket so that I could keep track of time on each side. Many times I have flown with it as my carry on and stored in the overhead bin without any complaints from airlines.
The Best Nursing Pillow!
May 16, 2017
Purchased this nursing pillow for myself several years ago and now I repurchase for every baby shower I attend. I owe my breastfeeding relationship to this pillow. I tried forever to make the "alternate brand of nursing pillow" work, but it did not support enough or bring the baby up high enough.Thank goodness for this pillow. I hope it helps every mother I gift these to as breastfeeding is so important!
Mother & baby approved.

My wife swears by these things. If you are a nursing mother, just get one, they are really good, she has tried a bunch of different options & some are better than others, but this one is the current best for a newborn baby. As the child gets older it will no longer be needed but for little babies, this is excellent & stress reducing.I have never been compensated for a review - good or bad, and never received any products for free, except for one unsolicited (and unwanted) item that I contacted the vendor for an RMA - they told me to donate it, so I did. This means that my reviews are my own genuine feedback & no one has biased them.
Best nursing pillow around!
October 8, 2016
I purchased this nursing pillow after using it at a lactation center with my first daughter. I was hesitant to spend the money when I had my 1st LO, since I had been given 3 Boppy nursing pillows....what a fool I was! When I got pregnant with my 2nd LO I knew I needed this pillow for my breastfeeding journey. The back support is amazing, the pillow is firm and keeps your LO's head high enough to reach, feels very secure when wearing with the belted clip and the fabric pouch is perfect for nipple cream. I actually remember to use my nipple cream consistently, since it's attached with my pillow. Also, it's easy to carry around through your arm once it's buckled. Can't stress enough, yes this pillow isn't as cute (fabric selections) and seems dorky belting on you, but get over it....it'll be such a blessing in breastfeeding.
Great design!

I really do love this nursing pillow. There's a lot to like about it.Pros:* I love that I can clip it around my waist, and then move around, without needing to awkwardly put it back on while while holding my baby.* It's adjustable* Comfortable* Very cute patterns* Great Design* The pocket it really handy* I mean, the name, who doesn't love it?Cons:* My baby grew very fast, he was very tall, so he was hanging his legs off the sides by the time he was 6 months old.* It is just a little pricey, but not too bad.All things considered, I love this pillow, and I'll be using it for our daughter when she gets here in November!:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::I hope you found this information useful. My Breastfeeding Staple Item
January 13, 2016
As a new nursing mom, this pillow is very much appreciated. It is sturdier and stays in place better than a boppy. I like the way it snaps around you to hold the pillow against your body so that you can completely relax the muscles that you sometimes strain when you can't quite find the right position with other pillows. The pocket on the side is genius because I always get thirsty when I'm breastfeeding and my lips are always dry for some reason, so I keep a bottle of water and lip balm in the pocket, that way they are always within reach. It's a hassle when you don't have someone helping to get you things and you start feeding the baby and your things are out of reach. Who has time to get yourself situated when you have a screaming baby? I would definitely recommend this pillow, as I have gotten more than my money's worth out of it.

They work.
September 17, 2017
These are the newborn pacifiers so they are a bit softer than the ones meant for older babies. I like to attach them to something because when they get dropped(or thrown) you'll be surprised and aggravated at the distance these things get when they roll-wow!!!! So many of them lost, maybe I should switch to the square ones lol
Favorite Pacifer
August 7, 2017
Best pacifier for a newborn! It is the right shape for an infants mouth. I got some cheapo ones that were totally the wrong shape that I was actually afraid to put in my baby's mouth. I tried the NUK ones as well, but they taught my baby to make a clicking sound with his tongue, so I threw those away. These have been perfect the whole time. Highly recommend!
my newborn likes them
August 1, 2017
I don't really know how to rate this since it was for my new born but since he didn't reject it i am giving them 5 stars because apparently my kid loves it. i bought this because they are like the ones they give you at the hospital and my kid didn't like the other shaped ones. this are great, nice texture and are one solid piece so there is no worrying about choking hazards.
These are great for tiny babies
June 12, 2017
These are great for tiny babies. My baby was only 4lbs 11oz. She could not fit regular pacifiers in her mouth because they hit her nose! She won't always take a pacifier, but when she does, she enjoys it. I particularly like that it is all made of the same material, because now that she pulls them out of her mouth, she doesn't always get them back in, but she doesn't care because she can still chomp down on it!
Great for babies!
May 25, 2016
Really love this pacifier. I bought this with my son when he was born,he'll be turning two this year, and they worked great! I continued to use soothie pacifiers until I took pacifiers away completely, they have pacifiers for ages 6 months and up also ! Another great thing is that my son didn't get hooked on these pacifiers, when it was time to ween him off of them it was a simple process, he didn't look for it or anything. It might've just been my child, but I'm planning on using these for my daughter, in pink, when she arrives this June !
Great pacifiers - my baby loves them
April 27, 2016
My son started on these pacifiers in the NICU, and since coming home, has refused any other pacifier we've given him. We've tried Mam and Dr. Browns, and he only wants the Avent. I particularly love that these are yellow. Very durable and wash up easily. They do not stay in at all when he sucks vigorously. That gets annoying. But the Mam fell out too when he sucked hard.

Covers Mah Udders!
July 26, 2017
It has great coverage, but I wish the bendy thing at the top was more stable so it can hold its shape while you peek down to make sure baby is latched on. I also like the small ziploc-ish bag it came in and have continued to use it for storing the cover when not in use. But... it would be cool if it came with one that was more durable and a bit bigger just in case you don't fold it EXACTLY the way it came. Very portable, and works well in hot weather too!
Great product
July 19, 2017
It was a great item when I first got started on my breastfeeding journey. Unfortunately I needed it before they arrived and shipping was messed up. They willingly refunded my shipping costs, which was awesome of them! Once LO became about 3 months old she learned how to rip it away from her so that kind of ended me using it lol. The price was great considering they are very pricey in stores. It was a little more flimsy than I thought it would have been.
I enjoy how small and compact this can be rolled up
July 21, 2016
I enjoy how small and compact this can be rolled up; it fits nicely in the diaper bag for travel. I am a big proponent for feeding your baby when/where he's hungry, but this is nice when you aren't super comfortable (like when you're having a conversation with your orthodox father-in-law ;)). My only qualm is that the cover should be a little longer and the boned band a little wider. When you're feeding a newborn it works well, but now that my LO is 4 months old, the opening is not as big as I'd like. The adjustable neck strap is great since I am tall. I also love the pattern; it matches all of our nursery/diaper bag decor.
Love
March 24, 2016
I love my design so much! The cover works as it should. My only real complaint is storage. Its hard to decide how to fold it properly without wrinkling it. Maybe in the future a carrying pouch would be awesome. We all know its hit or miss if your kid will let you use a cover. But I used it in front of family (in laws) and I was able to just go about my conversation without catching a side eye.
Good for the price; makes a great backup.
March 1, 2016
The first time around, my wife tried to use a receiving blanket, or a blanket with a neck loop attached. Needless to say, our baby hated either of these and threw them off. With our second baby, we tried a couple different nursing cover, and ANY real nursing cover is MUCH better because it has lighter, breathable fabric, and more importantly, it has a built in ring that gives it some shape at the top. This makes a window where Mommy can see Baby, Baby can see Mommy, and it keeps Baby from feeling smothered. All good things!

The two models we tried were the Bebe au Lait Premium Cotton Nursing Cover and the Udder Covers brand. Our feeling was that you get what you pay for. The Bebe au Lait is definitely better, but to be fair, it costs 2-2.5x as much.

Features that make the Bebe au Lait better are that the ring at the top is nicer--more of a rounded D-shape, whereas the Udder Cover one has a flimsy-feeling V-shape one. The fabric is also nicer on the Bebe au Lait: it's smoother/softer, and it's a little bigger, so it provides more coverage if Baby is wiggly. The terry-cloth pockets in the Bebe au Lait are nice in that they provide just a little bit of weighting for it.

Overall, my advice is to get a Bebe au Lait If you're going to be using it at all regularly; it is worth the one-time cost to get one as your primary nursing cover. The Udder Cover one makes a great backup to use when you're washing your main one, or if you need to stash a spare somewhere.

(What we ended up doing, which has worked well, is to have three nursing covers. The Bebe au Lait is our main nursing cover, and it lives in the diaper bag full-time and is with us when we're out and about. My wife has an Udder Cover one that she uses at work to pump, since the pump wouldn't appreciate the finer features anyway. (The pump room is also an office, and it doesn't lock, so sometimes people walk in, not realizing it's being used for pumping.) We also have a second Udder Cover that we use to swap out for either of the others when they need to be washed.

Compared to a boppy, which one to get
August 9, 2017
I give this 4 stars because I like it, don't love it, but I'm happy I have it and use it daily. I bought this to be used instead of my boppy because it wraps around offering more support, which it does. Sadly, the thing that makes it different than a boppy and something I use daily, is also something that frustrates me. When my baby is fussy and wants to eat, wrapping this around my waist and snapping it closed takes a bit of maneuvering and can get frustrating. Does it take long, not at all. Is it easy to do, absolutely. Am I being not picky, of course. But sometimes the baby and I are in positions that I wish the boppy were closer so I don't have to wrap it around, so I simply grab a pillow or suck it up and move my body. So that's my only negative and it's nothing against the product really, just an observation. Oh and unlike a boppy, its not as convienent to place the baby in the opening to sit, but thats ok. Things that make me come back to using it daily: One, when I know I'm going to feed my baby, I snap it on and I simply walk around like I have a pool floaty around my waist while holding the baby, changing him, or walking around getting my zone ready. Two, I like how firm (yet soft) it is. The baby has fallen asleep on it (while wrapped around me). Three, love that it wraps around and gives me back and arm support. With the boppy, I was leaning forward too much I found. Sadly, this could be a minor negative too if you want to lean back with it. Some minor maneuvering and it's all good. Four, love the pocket for my phone, remote, and pacifier. Easy to find and won't fall on the floor. Overall I'm happy with the product and would recommend it to friends. I'd probably still say get a boppy for all the things you can do with that.
So much better than boppy!
June 18, 2017
After hearing from many others online about this nursing pillow, I had it on my baby registry for my first baby. Of course someone purchased me a boppy pillow, but I hadn't received this. As soon as we got home from the hospital I got on amazon to order it and am so glad I did. It offers so much more support to both baby and me. I love that it sits the baby up much higher so I'm not slouched over while I feed him. I can spa nurse him without needing to hold him up, so I can eat or do other things with my hands while nursing. The only con I give this is that my cover, after a few washes and air drying, isn't holding up well and will have to be replaced soon. Otherwise it is super comfortable and I would highly recommend this to any new mom!
and that's worked pretty well against the seepage
June 10, 2017
This made nursing my newborn tons easier...but it is a limited time span you'll use it for. My only real hesitation with buying one again is that it's a fabric slipcover over a foam insert. Nothing to prevent milk leakage / baby spit up from soaking into the foam and sitting there. I ended up wrapping mine in plastic wrap, and that's worked pretty well against the seepage...but I get paranoid about baby's positioning! THere is a waterproof slip cover, but I didn't discover that until my baby was done using this.
This nursing pillow was great when baby was a newborn
April 12, 2017
This nursing pillow was great when baby was a newborn. I found that it held her up and supported her much better than the traditional boppy pillow. Nursing was a bit easier with this pillow. However, as she has gotten older, we have started using the boppy more. The one downside is that the cover is not waterproof. I would like to see My Brest Friend make a waterproof sleeve for it much like the boppy has that can be placed under the cover. You can purchase the waterproof cover but it's vinyl and isn't very soft.
Works well but not necessarily better than a crescent pillow
March 1, 2017
I have been using both My Brest Friend and a crescent shaped nursing pillow and both have their pros & cons. The biggest con of my Brest friend is that it kinda takes 2 hands to get on which is silly since one of my arms usually has a baby in it! That being said, the back support element is very nice so you don't need any extra pillows behind you. For that reason it's my go to travel pillow. It also gets a laugh if you dance around while wearing it - looks hilarious!
Your best friend for learning to breast feeding
February 3, 2017
I bought this pillow because the last time I breast fed, it was very unsuccessful for many reasons. Part of the reason was that it was hard trying to encourage my baby to latch with my hands while managing a regular boppy pilllow. With my second born, I wanted to succeed very much and after reading about this pillow, I knew it was what I was looking for.I brought it to the hospital when she was born and having that pillow helped a lot! it was firm so I didn't feel like she was sinking down lower while trying to encourage her to latch. The adjustable straps let me have her closer to me and not have to feel like an acrobate using my arms to hold her while using my hands to adjust her.My husband also enjoys using this pillow when he has the chance to bottle feed or even just hold her while hands free on the couch. If you are a beginning breastfeeder or have difficulties with a newborn, I would recommend this pillow! The only down side is that cover has been used for only 2months and is already ripping.

September 1, 2017
This has nothing to do with the product itself. I know lots of people who's kids love these. I was trying to find a "bottle like pacifier" to transition my kid off bottles for comfort at night in the crib and I got these because they were most like Madella nipples. Sadly they were rejected outright. Nothing wrong with the product, my kid is just ornery and they didn't work for us.
Get even if they don't take a binki.
August 21, 2017
THESE are great. Our LO won't take a pacifier but loves to play with these. You can stick your finger in them so they chew on your finger when they are fussy. Easy to clean and no place to get gross stuff stuck. They can chew on the entire thing. Will be nice when she starts teething.
Good product but not for us
July 30, 2017
These soothies arrived on time, in great condition, and after about a month of use they are still in great condition. They are excellent quality, but unfortunately we are switching to a different pacifier because my son has trouble keeping these in his mouth. I think that's just a matter of preference for every baby, which is why I still gave these four stars.
Our Infant's Favorite
January 10, 2016
These are great, the hospital gave us a couple of these and all the other ones our daughter just doesn't really care for. I also like how you can see through the center, so you can see how the child is biting/sucking. The only complaint I have is these were about 4 days late... and at this point, I have another item in my order list that is a couple days late as well. Starting to become a trend, and starting to regret Amazon Prime.
Does what the name says...Soothie
September 7, 2015
One of my daughters really liked this pacifier. It's the one she got originally from the hospital, and continued to prefer, even though her twin sister moved on to others. We got a bunch of these bundled together with other baby products so we always had a lot, but always had to buy more.one downside to this pacifier is that once our daughter started teething, these often developed holes. There are a range of different types (softer for younger, more rigid for older).
I think my kid was addicted to these. :p
April 30, 2014
EDIT: Looks like they updated the picture from the bright neon green to the proper color. Leaving the review as-is though just in case it changes later.Aside from the color lies on the listing, these pacifiers are the only thing my kid will take, and to that effect they're pretty great. They've been very durable. We've yet to need to replace any of them for the last year due to damage or anything.Pretty disappointed in the pictures shown on Amazon making them look like they're neon green (ie. easy to see) because I've bought the 'green' ones at Walmart before and they're more of a muted blue-green. That's what these ones are too. They're very hard to track down when my kid throws his binky somewhere because of the muted color.Get the bright yellow ones for better sight.

I still use it when I don't feel comfortable nursing around certain people
March 10, 2017
It works. But my baby gets so hot and it's awkard to try to nurse while using it. I still use it when I don't feel comfortable nursing around certain people. But for the most part it works so much better to just wear a nursing camisole under your normal shirt and just pull down the bra and camisole and up the shirt. It makes such a small open space no one can even really see anything.
Ok cheap alternative to pricier breastfeeding covers...
February 19, 2017
I've been using this cover for over 3 months. Material is breathable, but too rough for my liking even after washing it with fabric softener a handful of times. Color faded dramatically after just the first wash. Wrinkles. Like. Crazy. Also, if you want a lot of coverage, you will not get it with this cover. I'm a smaller person and it works fine for me, but definitely not wide enough to cover the sides comfortably if you prefer more privacy. I'd buy it again since it's cheap and I didn't expect too much.

Gets the job done and worth the cheap price tag, but I wouldn't pay a penny more for the quality of the fabric and I personally wouldn't gift this.
Eh its ok!!
September 15, 2016
It's ok. Came in time and it looks just like the picture. What I don't like is that it gets really warm underneath which I found surprising cause the material is thin. My daughter was uncomfortable so I ended up lifting the side up a bit while still covering my boob but not covering her face. For a first time mom It's a lot to get used to. I would recommend using it at home for a bit until you get comfortable before using it in public. Also to me I found it narrow and short. I think it needed more on both width and length.
Its not transparent which is good. Pattern and colors are nice no doubt
August 3, 2016
Yup...it has the same experience as some previous reviewers. the cover was folded and the neckline doesn't stay rounded and keeps on collapsing on baby's head. Its not transparent which is good. Pattern and colors are nice no doubt. Washed it once only, no issues so far..hope it stays like that only.
for the price, i think its okay
but for the price I'm happy.
June 6, 2015
I bought this nursing cover because it was the cheapest one I could find. It gets the job done - my udders are covered while I'm feeding my son (assuming he's not pulling it every which way). It's definitely not nearly as large as pictured - maybe half that length. The fabric is thin but not see-through. The boning at the top to make a structured neckline is a flimsy piece of plastic, but again, it works. I'd probably prefer one with a little more substance, but for the price I'm happy.

Nice concept, but...
September 21, 2017
The pillow is well made with firm foam and I like the side pocket very much, but I guess it's just not for me. The pillow provides relief to the arms but at the same time less flexible in other ways. I'd have to go fetch the pillow, put it on, then go grab the baby, trying not to knock over things along the way. It's one extra step in the preparation and with every minute wasted the LO cries a little harder, which makes it harder to latch on. The pillow is also too bulky for my armchairs so it limits where I can sit. When lying on the pillow the baby is a little too flat , which doesn't help the reflux problem. If I prop up her head then she would be too high relative to my breasts... In the end I just let my baby sit on my lap and hold her head in my arm. Perhaps I'll reconsider the pillow when she gets heavier.
Better than boppy but...
March 20, 2017
I definitely like the "serving tray" design of this pillow. It keeps my LO from rolling away from me so we can stay tummy to tummy. My biggest complaint is the "pillows" on it. Why are they there? Where they're located, it pushes my LO's head downward and he ends up pulling downward on my nipple as he's feeding. I fixed this problem by using it upside down, which works much better.
Received damaged cover
March 13, 2017
The cover had a rip in it that looked like someone half heartedly tried to repair. I contacted Amazon and they refunded 30% of the purchase price. A little annoying, but doesn't affect the functionality of the pillow. Overall, it's helpful to support baby while breastfeeding- but given that it's just a piece of foam with a very flimsy cover, I think it's overpriced.
Convenient but my LO doesn't seem to care for it
January 13, 2017
The jury is still out on this pillow for me. We also have a Boppy and I occasionally nurse on just a normal firm pillow as well. My chiropractor recommended the MBF, noting that it encourages better posture--which I certainly agree it does--I don't lean over while wearing it and my shoulders hurt less. BUT. That's not particularly helpful if my LO won't even feed on the pillow and for whatever reason, he seems a bit more resistant and fussy with this pillow. It is an amazing pillow if your child actually likes it though! Since it buckles to your torso, you can move the pillow around to aid with different holds so that you can do both football hold and cross cradle, which is really nice. Also nice because (assuming you're holding on to your baby carefully!) you can stand up while still wearing it.
Needs to be washable.
December 3, 2016
To be fair, the my brest friend is the best thing to ever happen to nursing. The buckle to hold it in place, the support. This is a MUST have for the first 2-3 months. However it has serious flaws. It is not washable! The fabric cover is so thin that it actually shredded in the wash. How can you have something for breast feeding that cannot be washed??? The foam inside is nothing more than a sponge. It will reek of spoiled milk and spit up. Not pleasant. I was not able to find a review that said to take the cover off and put it back in the original plastic with the fabric cover over. I was able to buy the better cover and that one was washable. It crinkled like a plastic bag, but it was cleanable. If they started making a breathable fabric cover that was waterproof and washable, this would easily be a 5 star item.
Great product, but fits awkwardly on XL mom.
June 27, 2016
I really like this product. The 3 star rating is because there aren't different sizing options. It says it is adjustable, but only to a point. The strap barely closes for me, and I am an XL. Also, for my size, the back support does not support my back at all, and is actually quite awkward. If it came in different sizes, and I ordered one for someone my size, this would be a solid 5 star product.I like that it straps around my waist - other pillows will drift away, especially when she falls asleep right after eating and I don't want to move her.The green paisley print is pretty, and the cover is very easy to remove wash.

Not my child's favorite
September 23, 2017
They come highly recommended but I haven't had great success with them. They are stiff and fall out a lot for me. Granted could be my children, but that's the experience I have had with them.
These are fine. They do the job

These are fine. They do the job. They're BPA free, cheap, and it's cute to watch the little "hole" in the middle while your baby sucks on the pacifier. My boy was constantly spitting this out, and he could never find it or figure out how to get it back in his mouth. Cue the least fun game of "fetch" ever; I was the fetcher, he was the dropper. These were good in a pinch, but we learned quickly and replaced them with a Wubbanub in month one.
watch out for defects
October 17, 2015
These are my daughter's favorite pacifiers. My problem is that 2 of the 4 packages I ordered, 1 or more of the pacifiers had a hole on the end so she wouldn't take it. Having just had a newborn returning them was the last thing I was thinking about and I ended up losing them, or threw them away. I would test them as soon as they arrive!
The only one my baby would take, but...
January 12, 2014
When my fourth was born and would not take any of the pacifiers I had on hand, I went to the store and bought one of every kind of pacifier I could find. I gave them to her one by one, hoping that she would take ONE of them, leaving Soothie for last, even after the knock-off gum drops or whatever they're called. I don't care for the way they look or the weird nub looking thing on the backside of them, meant for a pacifier clip or something I suppose. As a last resort, I gave her the Soothie brand. She didn't take to it right away, but she didn't immediately spit it out like she had many of the others. Eventually she grew to like it and accept it and for that I am grateful. However it appears to be a magnet for every piece of hair, fur, and lint that comes it's way. I am forever washing the dang thing off, far more often than would be necessary for basic sanitation were it not a fuzz magnet. I have used various other brands and types with my previous children, and none of them had this issue. Of course there was a stray hair here and there that would make it's way, especially if it was freshly spit out and promptly dropped on the floor, but not to the extent that these do. If your child is willing to accept a different brand and there are no concerns with breastfeeding, then try a different brand.
Great newborn paci only
February 21, 2013
This pacifier was given to us at the hospital and it was great while she was a newborn, although she need lots of assistance keeping it in her mouth. At a little before 2 months old I noticed her losing interest in it and needing even extra assistance keeping it in her mouth so I switched her to Avent pacifiers and she is much happier. I am happy for the use I got out of it for the first 2 months but it was def. time to switch, plus these are not good for teeth developement at all.
Baby likes it but they fall out really easily
February 2, 2012
I got these because my baby just would not take the flat teat style ones that are so common nowadays. I live in Singapore and it took a while for the package to reach me and in the interim managed to find a more traditional style pacifier from Pidgeon but with an olive shaped teat. It's possible I would think more highly of the soothie if I had not tried the Pigeon pacifier first. My baby will take the soothie but does not prefer it over the pigeon one. The problem with the Soothie is that it falls out of his mouth really easy. If he lets up sucking for a moment it falls out of his mouth. If it happens to roll out of his cot (which seems to happen more frequently than a regular pacifier) it always lands teat side down (regular pacifiers are more likely to land teat side up). Additionally there is no cover for the soothie and it is more difficult to teather to a stroller or car seat so it is not a great pacifier to travel with.In short: I will use the soothies as back-ups as baby will take them but will not be buying more as a regular pacifier with an olive shaped teat is better

Fabric Faded when received!
July 7, 2017
I was excited at first because I found this cover for $7.35! I thought that was an awesome price and purchased it. When I got it, it was alot shorter than I thought it would be but that didn't bother me 100% because it still covered everything and I knew I didn't pay for it so I wan't too upset at it. However when I was putting the strap together I noticed that the fabric was faded along the top, right at the middle. Then I laid it out and realized that there were several places where the fabric was really faded. It just was not a high quality product. I know I didn't pay a lot for it so I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but I was disappointed that the fabric was faded.

I like how this fits around the neck so that you can see the baby BUT it is hot!!! Not recommended for summer breastfeeding. The fabric does NOT breathe well for mom or baby!!! My poor baby would be done breastfeeding but he'd be so sweaty even if we were inside with air conditioning.
Like a leaf in the wind...
July 20, 2016
Hey there! New mom on board. I thought these were a staple in baby goods. But my LO is 4 months old now and I "graduated" to a better cover last month.

The good: peek top. You don't get that anything else, to my knowledge. Umm... That's it.

The bad & ugly: the print didn't look as nice when I received it. It was blah. Not a big deal on my radar. Once I washed it, it shrank UP! Ugh... The elephant-in-the-room design flaw is its lack of coverage. ALL babies start squigglying around after a few weeks and you're left exposed. Even if your baby is a saint, WIND flaps this bad boy around and when you lift your shirt up, your back/side is exposed. No Bueno for our new post-pregnancy muffin tops.

I scored a Liv & Lila nursing scarf at a baby fair, which I adore. I've worn it out as a scarf and just LOVE IT. Talk about coverage! I also hear good things about Covered Goods. Maybe a tiny bit more expensive but VERSITILE & super cute & SO functional.

This guy will get handed down to a new mom, pronto! I'll keep my nursing scarf.
Too small!!
March 2, 2016
I just received this in the mail today so I opened it up to see how it looked, however, it seemed really small especially when a baby is under it, it's like everything would be exposed with the baby under there kicking & squirming, which I expect. But if I'm trying to be discreet the cover isn't going to work so I've decided to return it. Luckily, I found a bebe au lait nursing cover at marshalls for $12.99 that I put on layaway with a few other items of course so I'm hoping that one will be much better than this one!
disappointed
November 2, 2014
Cloth is made of cheap thin material. I am 5"1 currently 130 lbs and my baby is about 10lbs. The cloth is not large enough, making exposure very easy. With baby feeding on a Boppy or larger pillow I am easily exposed at the sides. D rings do not hold straps up and cover falls off if ends are not knotted together making it difficult to adjust peep hole size. When i try to adjust baby's position or if baby is being fussy and pulls on the cover, the cover falls down if not double knotted, defeating the purpose of the D rings. I have a nursing cover which I bought from Bebe Au Lait which I prefer much more. You can definitely tell the difference in quality. It is no wonder this nursing cover was this much cheeper. I wont be using this nursing cover since it just is more of a hassle.

Not for me...
September 10, 2017
I didn't care for this nursing pillow for a couple reasons. First the back support was really uncomfortable. If the support went higher on the back it may be more comfortable. Also, my zipper burst open in a spot and wouldn't zip back. There are two bumps on the pillow thatI think are designed to help elevate the baby's head. Great idea, but the bumps just didn't line up right for me. I had to twist the pillow around and then the "back support" was really out of place. Heh :/
Stick with the boppy
August 17, 2017
I decided to try this instead of the boppy. It's not for me. It's bulky and a pain to get off and on. The baby doesn't quite seem to fit on it right - like it's going to pitch her off the other side. It's also not versatile like the boppy for use with baby in the floor for tummy time, etc. And it's so bulky with the latch, etc that it just is an annoyance to travel around with.
Looks good but doesn't function well
June 1, 2017
I was really excited about this pillow but design is seriously flawed. I have been using this for six weeks now and the "back support" causes back aches for me. I thought I was sitting wrong or had it positioned wrong but after six weeks enough is enough, my back hurts too much and I have stopped using it. Additionally the buckle is a pain as you can't hold your baby and attach it so I have to put my son down to get the pillow buckled everytime I want to use it, which my baby does not approve of. Finally the flat design and back support back it impossible to angle the support for a baby with acid reflux. I gave it two stars because the quality appears well and perhaps others wouldn't find this design as impossible to use as I do. I am going back to using the boppy that I used with my first baby.
Not for me
April 25, 2017
I thought this was really uncomfortable. It barely fit around me and the "lumbar" support was just uncomfortable. It wasn't able to hold my baby up high enough feed, so it was completely useless to me and I sent it back for a refund. I can see how others would like this product, but it just isn't for me
Perfect design, low quality materials
March 28, 2017
Design gets five stars, execution/materials get one star. I love the shape and alignment that this pillow gives through all ages of nursing. I used newborn to 6 months and would consider longer if I didn't have to keep replacing it. I also wish they had a fully organic option (pillow and cover), for a more environmentally friendly and higher quality nursing pillow. The cover is thin and cheap, with a very worn look after just one washing and wrinkles badly. I can testify to different colors/patterns being the same type of cheap thin cotton fabric, although I can't speak for the delux cover. As for the cushion, I had to throw it away after six months. The cushion was soiled and unsanitary from soaking up spitup and two bouts of vomiting. It's literally a sponge like foam with no barrier between it and the thin cotton cover, impossible to spot clean after a dirty mess because it's absorbed into the pillow. I feel this is an essential design/material flaw, as babies spitup, leak pee, have blow outs, etc. that will simply be soaked up by the cushion.I tried the travel pillow, because I love the design so much and thought it would solve the "sponge" problem, which it did. The inflatable travel insert was great, just wiped it clean, but it got a hole in the seam with normal use in just three weeks, so I had to return it. The "patch kit" that comes with it was essentially scotch tape and didn't stick well or repair the hole.Pros: design and alignment for breastfeeding is unparalleled, good back support, improved my postureCons: low quality material, sponge like cushion with no waterproof barrier (should be a part of the design, not a separate waterproof cover for purchase), thin cheap cotton cover, cover doesn't wash well, doesn't last unless you want to keep something that's unsanitary
Not worth the hype.
May 23, 2016
I made the mistake of wasting money on this when I already had a great pillow. Other moms I know who've tried it have had similar problems I found with this, mostly it's uncomfortable! The pillow is not very thick, I was never able to use it without being hunched over badly. The back support piece is a nice idea, but I didn't benefit from it while having to lean over so much. Overall I've tried to use it a few times and it's ultimately lived the rest of its life stored away, unused.I recommend the Babe Au Lait nursing pillow instead!

Don't Have the Time for These
July 14, 2017
It's cute/amusing to see their little mouths sucking on the "soother" through the plastic. Work fine when we have the time to hold it in baby's mouth, but when you need to walk away... it will fall out very easily. Worthless if using in the car when you can't be there to hold it in. We prefer the mam pacifiers bc they do not fall out as easily.
Arrived open
January 28, 2017
Arrived in an open package, yuckI kept meaning to send them back but with a new baby I just forgot and got new ones to replace these at Walmart for less $ anyway.Lesson learned
No miracle for baby that doesn't like pacis
November 15, 2015
I could never get either of my kids to take a pacifier, but I heard these were the best so I bought them for baby #2. He won't suck on them, unless maybe someone has their finger inside it, but will occasionally chew. I think he's confused by any nipple that is not my own.I should note that the two we got had a little pin hole at the tip of the nipple, which would let air through. This doesn't seem like a great design.
Product can be dangerous
September 26, 2015
Pacifiers can be hit or miss. It really depends on what your child prefers and you won't know until they get here and you try different products. These pacifiers were once our go-to brand and the vanilla scent is nice. However, during our hospital stay, a nurse informed us that this product should not be used unsupervised because some babies have gotten their fingers stuck in the hole in the middle while sucking causing loss of circulation. That made us discontinue the use of this product entirely and we switched to a different brand.
... pacifiers we got from the hospital and my son loved those from the beginning
July 8, 2015
We have the green 0-3 month pacifiers we got from the hospital and my son loved those from the beginning. Then I bought some 0-6 month blue ones and they were so hard (not as flexible as the 0-3 month ones) and he would not suck on those. So I found these blue 0-3 month ones, thinking they would be identical to the green ones he had - same brand and everything. They weren't - there were open holes in each of the nipples so when he sucked on them, he kept sucking in air. I don't know if that was a defect or if they are all like that, but ours ended up in the garbage :( Just putting it out there - these might be better to buy in a store if you can, then you can make sure there aren't any holes in the nipple end.
Not for my baby...
April 17, 2013
My baby found these very difficult to keep in her mouth, so I found myself literally holding it in for 45 minutes. I know the hospital uses these and they are supposedly wonderful for preventing teething issues, but I finally caved and bought a Dr. Browns version that is specifically made to work similarly. I think with the pacifier having such a straight piece that went in her mouth she couldn't keep a good suction on it. Also, the round back was so big it hit her nose, complicating it even further.

I LOVED this cover before
July 21, 2016
I LOVED this cover before... but now after being washed a few time the ends of the plastic are completely sharp and jagged---I am terrified of using it and cutting my daughter with it. Maybe it's a fluke or a lemon of some sort, but I am really bummed. I use it all the time and don't want to spend the money and order another one.
I'm a big tall woman and this was useless!
May 27, 2015
I bought this one looking to replace a cover I already have that didn't keep the neck shape well enough to serve its purpose, not realizing it was the same brand. I can use a blanket and carry less stuff if the neck isn't going to actually allow me to look at my baby.turns out this newer version had the same neck problem AND is WAY Shorter than my old one. I'm a big tall woman and this was useless!
Was a hassle and not helpful for me
May 14, 2015
The baby got hot underneath it even though it is light weight. And with a newborn I needed both hands under the cover even using a nursing pillow. With that being said I needed a 3rd hand to keep adjusting the top so I could see my baby or even to keep air circulating through so she wouldn't get too warm underneath it. Maybe it would have been better when she got older and she could nurse better without a lot of assistance.
the material is so terrible. Need to iron it after each wash
March 24, 2015
just after 1 wash, the cover become really sag at the neckline. I have a hard time to keep it in place while nursing. because of that, now i cant see him through the neck opening. And the fabric falls on his face. He keeps pulling them away from his face. This makes it hard for me to nurse him. Regret !!!!! PS. the material is so terrible. Need to iron it after each wash.
Very disappointed
February 2, 2015
I was extremely disappointed with this product. I purchased the Caleb style and was absolutely shocked to find that it was basically a rectangle with a strap. The material was extremely thin and rough, and probably the poorest quality fabric I've ever encountered on a factory-made product. Is it just the Caleb style that is this poor? I can't imagine giving this product more than 2 stars. Did I get an early model?

Really poor quality
October 10, 2017
I bought this to replace a much used, much loved nursing pillow from the local lactation consultant's shop. Unfortunately, this product is inferior in every way and is going back. The fabric cover is terrible. Scratchy, rough, and terrible quality, it irritates my skin, not to mention the baby's. The shape is unnatural and the back support just gets in the way. I knew within 10 seconds of trying it that it was not for me.
Buckle Broke - asked manufacturer for help but didn't get any yet.
July 19, 2017
Within 1 week of owning the Brest Friend Pillow, the white buckle broke so I cannot attach it around myself when breastfeeding. That makes it essentially worthless. I reached out by calling and emailing Zenoff for a replacement buckle part (probably worth like 50 cents) and have received no reply. If they can help me out, I'm happy to update my review. I've been waiting about 2 weeks. In terms of use, the pillow really provided me with value by helping me position my baby for easy breastfeeding.
Horrible product -- lowest quality. Falls apart immediately.
June 25, 2017
This product is of the lowest quality -- do not bother. I followed the wash before use instructions exactly as they were printed and the casing fell apart immediately and the zipper ruptured. I wasn't even able to use it once. I would like to ask for a full refund.
I could not be more disappointed with the quality of this item
April 8, 2017
I was initially so excited for this product but really regret buying it now. The pillow is very cheaply made. The foam interior is such a low quality. The cover is scratchy, it barely fits over the foam, and after one wash on the gentle cycle it is already coming apart at the seams! I could not be more disappointed with the quality of this item! I could have made a better version of this for half the money and trip to the craft store. Don't waste your money on this.
Odd
February 6, 2017
Thought I would have loved this pillow because of its design, fabric pattern and back cushion, but I hated it when I received it. First of all the fabric is rough, it feels like a 50 or less thread count fabric. Secondly, the curve is off, it doesn't have an even curve, you would have to twist your body to the left for the curve to align around your stomach. You would only be able to breastfeed from your left breast that also my trusting your abdomen to the left.
Stiff and awkward!
July 24, 2016
I already owned one and really liked it. So, I bought another one through Amazon. But this one is really different! It's smaller, stiffer, and feels awkward. I don't know if I got a defect, but I'm REALLY disappointed! I wanted to return it but couldn't because we brought it with us when we went on a family trip and didn't really have an alternative.

Breastfed baby hates these!
October 8, 2017
My baby hates these! The nipple is hard and shaped like a bottle nipple, and too thin, and he just can't latch on. He only used this pacifier once or twice and has spit it out every other time. The Nuk pacifiers are WAY better for breastfed babies because they more closely resemble mommy's nipple.

My baby didn't care for these. Our hospital used normal pacifiers, so maybe that's why. She prefers the avent orthodontic pacifiers.

Beware...major flaw in design
June 19, 2016
These were my baby's favorites until one morning when she got it stuck on her finger and her finger turned purple. Thank goodness I heard the cries. If it had been much longer bad things could've happened. Upon researching this I found we weren't the only ones that this happened to. I'm sad that a company so wonderful would overlook this major flaw. We immediately got rid of all of these and changed brands.
i don't recommend
June 9, 2015
They have a hole in the nipple that results in baby swallowing a ton of air. Not sure why it was designed that way but i am definitely not using this product. I would not recommend it.
