Comfortable and perfect size for toddler!
September 27, 2017
Decided to buy Our 3 1/2 year old this awesome cot off amazon to keep in our bedroom instead of the twin bed we had in here for her that took up so much space. Now we can just fold it up with us and take it to the deer lease with us when we go. She loves it and so does her younger sister. It’s very comfortable and the reviews are awesome! It’s the perfect size for a toddler.Regalo My Cot Portable Toddler Bed, Includes Fitted Sheet and Travel Case, Royal Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000H1MRJO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_V2QvJ9hJWbhRG

Ordered this for my toddler for travel. It is excellent. He can be a very restless sleeper and rolls out of his toddler bed pretty regularly, but has yet to roll out of this. He enjoys it, also. He thinks it's fun. It's so much lighter and easier to set up than the pack n play. The only thing I would change, is I would love if it had a carry handle for the carry bag. It would make it so much easier to carry around.
I love it and my 1 year old loves it also!

What you see is what you get! Stable and easy. My daughter is able to get on and off with no problem of tipping over. I seen that toys r us has one like it but doesn't look as nice and double the prices. Definitely happy with my purchase!
Awesome purchase and will last for years

My granddaughter loves her cot !! Now all her friends want one She is three years old !! It is sturdy and built awesome it comes in a bag and the material is like an outside summer chair so you can spray it clean with the hose if your little one has an accident. She gets her taggie and pillow and lays on it when she watches movies and she puts her babydoll son it to take a nap
Great for travel/sleepovers!

I bought this in preparation for a move from Germany back to the US. I wanted to get it ahead of time to let our daughter get used to it, since all of our furniture would be packed up and on a boat for a loooong time.I had her take naps in it at home instead of her crib (13-14 months old) and for date nights, I would bring it to the babysitter's house. It fit easily in our big luggage for the flight back to the US and it wasn't heavy at all. It fit perfectly under the "desk" built into our hotel room and you can see Chloe didn't have an issue sleeping on it. She was able to crawl up on down from it with no problem. She does tend to...migrate...when she sleeps, so we would put blankets or pillows down if the floor wasn't carpeted.I would and have recommended this to friends and family.Pic 1 - 15 months old (babysitter's house)Pic 2 - 17 months old (hotel in Germany)Pic 3 - 18 months old (hotel in US)Pic 4 - 21 months old (in our new home!)
Excellent product for a very reasonable price
March 9, 2012
** NOTE: I purchased this late March 2012. I believe I have an updated model as compared to the description of the product in previous reviews. **Now that my kids are a little older, my wife and I plan to do a little more traveling. Unfortunately the entire family sleeping in a large king sized hotel bed is becoming less of an option. We decided that purchasing travel cots/beds would be the solution. There were some key features we were looking for:* First, we wanted a bed that was economically sound :) I'm sure anyone reading this who has more than one child understands that when one kid gets something, the others have to have the same. In our situation we would need to purchase 2.* Second, we wanted it to be compact when stored as we have minimal vehicle space already. As with the previous note, we would need to cram 2 into the car.* Third, ease of assembly.* Fourth, durability. This and the previous note pretty much does away with an air mattress. I've had plenty of air mattresses in my time and convenience and durability have always been questionable. In searching I came across this one and another one that was very close to fitting the bill. Unfortunately the other one cost more than twice what this bed cost. considering I had to by 2, the choice was obvious.I was a little concerned about some of the previous reviews. They have noted that the center support strap is too tight and it creates an elevated section in the middle. This would obviously make the bed uncomfortable to use for anyone who had to lay across it. There were enough positive reviews that I decided to go for it and see if I couldn't adjust the bed to make it more comfortable.I am happy to say that the bed is better than I had expected. Especially so because of the cost. As I have noted at the start, I believe I have an updated model. Perhaps Regalo had read all of the more negative reviews and took them to heart. There is no strap in the center but instead there are criss-crossed straps on both sides (I have attached pictures so you can see how it's supported now). There is still a slight hump in the center from the tension of the fabric between the two center supports but it's not bad. My little girl doesn't mind and she actually asks to sleep in the bed each night.Hope this helps anyone who is thinking about buying this. Honestly you can't beat it for the cost.

the mattress almost immediately started expanding and was comfortable enough to lay on within a minute
February 15, 2017
I purchased the twin bed on 9 February and it stated that delivery would be February 15 to February 21. Mattress arrived on the 15th so was very quick, it came rolled up in thick white saran wrap type plastic. Inside a cardboard box. Once unrolled, the mattress almost immediately started expanding and was comfortable enough to lay on within a minute. I didn't check again until an hour later and my son got on it and said it was as comfortable as the first of this mattress we had bought. Not sure what others are talking about but there was barely any smell at all and what there was was not unpleasant. That faint smell dissipated by the time I checked on it in an hour. Customer service is great and very responsive. I would buy again if I need to.

To be honest I was skeptical about this mattress. I figured it would do for now while I just simply need something cheap.
But I was greatly surprised at it's quality. Being rather thin, I assumed I would feel the frame underneath. But it is very dense and has a slight give when you lay on it, so its on the firmer side whilst still being soft. It didn't have a strong chemical smell either. After I opened it up I let it sit out for 2 days before use. So far it has yet to dip, such as other customers happened to them.
The one draw back that I can see, is it is not reversible. So I can't say this product will have a very long life.
hope that helps anyone considering buying. Also it fits the frame I bought (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006MIPW70?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00)

Totally shocked at what received...
December 3, 2015
After reading all the reviews I went ahead and ordered a single size mattress. I came on time and was in a tall but small box. I open the box and after opening the airvac bag around the mattress, it inflated but not fully. I let it rest for 24 hrs and it was fully ready. It s white and in perfect condition. I was shocked how I didn't smell anything as many reviews stated the smell was strong. I bought for my 7 year old for the bottom bunk and its a little smaller than the spring normal mattress I had before but no so much it. Really can't tell if you didn't see the other one first.my son had slept wonderful since he got his new mattress. I slept in his bed with him and was shocked that I have slept all night without my normal 3 or 4 moments I normally wake up with lower back and hip pains. I'm planning to replace other mattresses in my near future.. Thanks for reading.
Was skeptical, but we LOVE this mattress. Take a chance on it.. if not? Return it.. but I don't think you will need to. :)

We ordered this bed for my daughter, who recently went from a queen to a loft twin size bed. The queen was my old mattress which was a pillow top, so my daughter was already used to having a pretty soft mattress to sleep on, which I admit is nothing I ever had growing up! ha! That being said, I wanted something that would be equally as comfortable for her to adjust to. I ordered this from Amazon, and got it in 2 days with prime. The box was very light, and easy for me to carry as a single woman. I left it in the box for 2 days, and moved it to our new apartment, in a new town. since I had some time, I opened, and allowed it to air out for 2 days without letting anyone sit, or lay on the mattress. No smells were detected, and it was easy to unfold. By the time we got the loft bed built, it was time for my daughter to try the mattress out. She LOVES it. She never has issues with falling asleep, and doesn't want to get out of it in the mornings. Its been a great buy for us, and we have owned it for almost a month now. No sags, or deformities that we have noticed. Well worth the $120 I spent to get it...

September 7, 2014
Finally found exactly what I've been looking for! This is crazy but for my entire life basically I've been sleeping on spring mattresses and this is my first foam and i can't believe how comfortable it is. I moved to college last year and this year decided to get my own mattress after sleeping on an air mattress for a while. For the price this is an amazing mattress. I've been to Ikea and the same priced mattresses are ridiculously bad, this one is just so much better than anything out there. Also there's some reviews that indicate the stitching is coming apart, and I know what you're referring to but that's not the stitching. You're seeing the material at the end of the stitch come apart due to whatever material they decided to stitch it with. The actual STITCHING is not coming apart anywhere on the one I received, I simply cut off the extra loose strings and put a cover over it. Also with the quilted top you don't even need a topper. For reference I'm 6'4" and 180lbs and the mattress feels very solid and not like a piece of foam.

Great cot but needs one thing.
October 2, 2017
Worked great when we took a vacation to the in-laws. The only draw back that I wish this unit would have is a snap that would lock it into place when the unit is fully extended. When we put on the sheet that was included it would try to fold up. If you don't use the fitted sheet for it this cot works GREAT! If you use the fitted sheet I would put something on the cot like a blanket or pillow so it won't try to creep/fold up.
Perfect for Toddlers, 5 and Under
September 11, 2017
Purchased these as an alternative to air beds for my rowdy boys. The material of the bed is not the softest but durable, we just put fleece blankets over to make more cozy. Lightweight and easy to throw into the trunk for travel. I used higher quality crib sheets as the sheet that comes with his pretty basic. Overall I love these beds and will put to good use! Kids never complained about comfort after sleeping on them for 10 days. 4 stars because:1. They do sit a few inches above the ground. One of my kids moves around a ton and can roll off. Not high enough to injure himself though.2. My 5 year old will be grown out of this by next year & he's average height and lightweight. I wouldn't recommend this for children over 4 unless they are pretty petite.
Pretty good.
April 25, 2017
It's basically one of those canvas looking lawn chairs that go in a bag for easy carrying to sporting events but a cot! It doesn't have any cushion at all. We use a fluffy quilt folded up between the cot and it's cover as padding. It works well. My toddler loves it, that's all that matters!Oh and it comes with a bag for easy carrying.
OK for 19mo old
January 14, 2017
Was unable to use the cover because it has elastic that makes the cot fold up. Without the cover, it works as expected except the support through the middle causes there to be a lump (like a bar in a fold out bed). My 19mo old couldn't lay across it because her back would be hyper-extended. She ended up having to curl up on either end which had more of a hammock feel to it. I'm not sure if other cots are better but ultimately this worked for our needs. We used it hotels and my daughter was able to get a good night's rest on it.
Great temporary bed with amazing value
December 22, 2016
We bought this for short trips and overnights at Grandma's house. I had planned on buying something larger, but for the value and storage size, opted to try this first. What I love: It's super compact, and my kiddo loves it. He sleeps very well on it. And you can't beat the value for the price. What could be improved: I wish it locked into place a little better. If, a hypothetical small child were to go against the recommendations and play on it, the cot doesn't stay completely flat. I also wish there were additional sheets available for it a bit softer than the nylon sheet that comes with it.Overall: I love this product. I've recommended it to several friends, and would definitely buy it again if I had need of another. I wouldn't use it as a regular bed, but it's perfect for occasional uses.
This is great for the price
August 5, 2016
This is great for the price. I bought it for my four year old who is taller than the average four year old. It won't last him very long since he's so tall, but then it will be handed down to our two year old. Also, not the sturdiest ever, don't let your older children play on it or it will bend the frame like it did to ours. It's still usable just lower to the ground now! Folds up very easily and he finds it comfortable to sleep on.

Good price for decent matress
July 4, 2016
Good price for decent matress. As others have stated, i ordered multiple and received two different versions. They seem the same quality but look and feel different, luckily uniformity was not important to me. Arrived fast and unpacking was simple, and they were ready within an hour or so, but we waited 24hrs to use them. Not flipable, but that wasn't expected. Great for my kids, no complaints. Only markdown is for different look and feel for what is supposed to be an identicle product. One had a design, the other was all white and one is more firm, so i can understand previous comments on quality differences. It gets four stars because i knew that was a possibility when i bought it.
aside from the packaging issues this was a good buy. This is a very comfortable bed
September 9, 2015
I bought this for my daughter. It was smashed so tightly in the packaging it won't go to the full original size. It's been several weeks and it still looks a bit smushed. We had to put something underneath of it to raise the mattress up (just a couple of inches) so it worked with her daybed. However, aside from the packaging issues this was a good buy. This is a very comfortable bed. Even I don't mind laying in it from time to time. My daughter is 12 and not a tiny girl so I feel this would work for a small adult as well (my daughter is 5"1 110 lbs). All in all I'm glad we got it. I have a very happy kid :)

July 17, 2015
I was expecting a mattress. Being in a pinch and unable to go to a store to shop this was the next best thing. I would have rather spent the money on a mattress that would have lasted longer. But the convenience of to the door delivery outweighed that.
I say lasted longer only because this was purchased for a child, it is extremely soft and thin I am sure when she is older and weighs more than 40lbs she will want something more supportive and thicker. For a temporary small child's bed it does the trick. It is very soft, it is just the memory foam layer without the springs of a mattress. It came rolled like a carpet and I was in a panic. Once out it did fluff up and resembled a thin mattress.
I would purchase again if I was in a time pinch. But for the longer run a real mattress would be better.
Wasn't looking for the absolute best mattress out there
January 8, 2015
Background: I am a female college student (140-145lbs) who needed to buy a mattress for the new unfurnished apartment my friends and I moved into. Wasn't looking for the absolute best mattress out there, just something that I can use for the next year, but I also didn't want to get a super low quality mattress either. Oh and I gave myself a $150 budget. Side note: I received my mattress yesterday and have slept on it only once since I received it. If anything I write about today changes, I will be sure to update my review!!

I was very surprised when I received my mattress a day before my guaranteed delivery, and that it came in such a small box!! One thing I was disappointed in was that it did not come in the duffel bag or two plastic outer layers that Dreamfoam said it would come in, but whatever. It was vacuum sealed and basically just Saran wrapped, lol. #easytocarry

One AUTOMATIC plus that I noticed was that it IMMEDIATELY deflated when my boyfriend unwrapped it!! I know the company says it can take 24-48 hours, but mine was completely deflated in like 10 seconds. Score!! The other thing I liked about the mattress was that there was NO ODOR when we unpacked it. This was something I had read and was concerned about, but I smell nothing!! Something else that I was concerned about was it getting hot when I slept on it, because I read that that happens with foam mattresses, but it hasn't happened to me! I guess it just depends on the sleeper, and I am not a "hot" sleeper.

The only reason I am giving it four stars is because it said that the mattress would deflate to 7" and after giving the mattress time to deflate (if it was going to deflate more than it did in the first 10 seconds), it only deflated to 6.5". It looked kinda short, so I bought a mattress topper for added height and comfort, and it feels like a CLOUD. :) Other than the height, this mattress is magnificent!!! Great value (and believe me, I looked around) and great quality. I like the quilted top, but just in case you are wondering, this is not a reversible mattress. There is no quilted top on the bottom of the mattress.

Like I said, I will update my review if anything changes after more use with this mattress. But at $108, I can proudly and happily say that it exceeded my expectations!!!

PS: While I am very happy with my new mattress, I do not know if I would recommend it to anyone heavier than like 150lbs. My boyfriend, who weighs about 180-200lbs laid on it, and he said he liked it, but I could see he pushed it down pretty far. I know Dreamfoam also makes a 9" mattress like this one, so perhaps that would work better?

PSS: I would definitely recommend buying a mattress topper for this mattress!! I got a memory foam one, and paired with this affordable mattress, I can foresee being very happy with this mattress in the future!!! :)
Inexpensive and perfect for children!
July 12, 2014
I ordered this twin sized mattress for my 2 year old son. We recently purchased a bed frame for him and switched him out of his toddler bed & needed a mattress to go with.
Amazon never fails - prices are great for quality items! I am very pleased with the mattress. I personally would not want the mattress for myself but it is perfect for smaller children! It is sturdy enough for him, fits his twin frame perfectly, and he says it's comfortable.
I was shocked when the box arrived - I did read the other reviews before I purchased this mattress, but I guess I never noticed the other comments about how it is packaged. The box was about 3 feet tall and about 1 foot x 1 foot wide. The mattress was pretty much vacuum sealed in a lot of plastic wrap. I took the coiled up mattress out of the box and cut the plastic off and the mattress basiclly popped out and puffed right up! It took about 24 hours for the mattress to come to it's full potential. I still can't believe the mattress was squished in that box!!
Like I said, this mattress is perfect for little light weight children but I wouldn't recommend it {comfort wise} for teens/adults.

Good for a bed, but folds up too easy.
July 16, 2017
My granddaughter enjoys laying on it. However, she also likes playing on and on it - it does not "snap" open - so as soon as she bumps against it, it wants to fold up for storage. Used as a bed only - it's great, just wish it would snap into place.
Mediocre
May 27, 2017
It doesn't have a clasp or other mechanism to hold it flat when pulled out. Doesn't stay flat unless the toddler is on - and he LOVES it. It is rather uncomfortable so I had to order a plush/padded fitted sheet for it. It gets the job done
Great for 2-5 year olds
May 26, 2017
Way smaller than I expected but that was my fault for not clearly reading the specs. It would be perfect for kids 2-5 years old.
didn't work for my 2 yr old
February 7, 2017
I bought this for an extra bed for my grandson at my other residence where I occasionally stay. He would not stay in it. He sleeps in a toddler bed, so I thought this would suffice. Not for him. I pulled the crib mattress out of the crib and put it on the floor and he crawled on it and went straight asleep. While there is not a bar in the middle it is more taut than the upper and lower part, which may have made a difference to him. I'm still hoping that he'll sleep on it when we travel...that's why I left it at 3 stars. Time will tell on that. I've ordered some bars to go on a bed that I can travel with in case he won't sleep on this cot.
Cute, but my kid wouldn't sleep in it.
August 15, 2015
When I first took this out and set it up for my almost 3 year old daughter, she was thrilled. She got her new Frozen blanket and laid down on it - even watched a movie while resting on it! I was excited to have an option for us to bring on an upcoming road trip where she didn't have to share a bed with us and kick/head butt us all night. We did a test run the night before we left...unfortunately she woke up in the middle of the night and I came in to find her half off the bed. It is a small bed and doesn't leave much room for a kid to even turn over (and most kids I know toss around a lot at night), so she kind of fell off. I brought it on our trip anyway, with high hopes, but unfortunately she couldn't get comfortable with it. When I put the sheet on that came with it, the whole thing folded in, so I just used some larger sized crib sheets we had at the house (they worked well size-wise). It is canvas, so I wanted to put a few layers on there so I put a sheet and then a blanket and then had her lie on top. She loved it until bed time and then couldn't stay on and couldn't get comfortable. I think this could be great for resting in front of TV (or nap time?) or even to have on the beach or something, but as a bed for trips...no go. It does fold nicely and looks really cute...
A little to uncomfortable without some kind of padding
March 28, 2014
For the money it's a great travel bed. No one wants their child sleeping on the floor and sometimes it's great for when they just want to sleep in your room but not necessarily with mom and dad. The biggest problem I have with it is the fact that it has no padding. I bought a twin memory foam mattress topper and cut it down and put a crib sheet on it. Works much better. Another problem we have with it is; my daughter is only 24 pounds and 2 years old (and loves this thing), but where the beds center supports are have already torn and had to be repaired. But, for $24.00 +/-, it does it's job just fine. No problems with folding or unfolding. I lay down on it once with her and I'm around 150 lbs. and it barely gave. I didn't stay there long just in case. Everything else is great.

... can sleep and not have pain I would not recommend if you are heavyset
April 24, 2017
I have used this mattress for over three almost four years however as I'm a large individual I now have to replace my mattress so I can sleep and not have pain I would not recommend if you are heavyset, but for children and healthy teens then this is for you. It arrived within a week of ordering it so that is a plus and withstood me and my pets however if you are heavy you will NOT GET TEN YEARS out of this mattress but be fair it is incredibly soft and withstood my beatings for a long time.

May 22, 2016
So, it's been 4 months since I bought these mattresses (bought 2). I have to say I am not happy with them mainly because one of the mattresses has not opened up uniformly. One corner of the mattress has a slope/inclined and I think it is because the springs never really opened up/straightened out correctly. The second mattress is fine. We bought these and had the two mattresses opened and left flat on the floor for about a month as we bought them before we were going for a long trip hoping that they will open up perfectly. Sadly, it was not meant to be. Not going to buy it again.
It's okay.
February 5, 2016
Mattress is okay for our three year old. We have laid on it and it seems comfortable enough. The issue we ran into is one end never fully inflated. With it being for our youngest, we don't really foresee it being too big of a deal.
OK for a 4 year old, but never fully "inflated"
January 27, 2016
This mattress is just OK... We purchased it for our 4 year old's first twin size bed. He's only 40 lbs, which is why it will still work for us. As others have noted, it never fully "inflated". The top and right side of the mattress did puff up nearly immediately - within 12 hours they looked normal. The bottom and left side are a different story. We cranked the heat in the room we took it out of the package, which helped marginally. After nearly 48 hours the left side inflated enough that we weren't worried about our son rolling off to one side. The bottom is still terribly creased and flat (it's been 5 days now). It'll be a long time before our son is tall enough to have the sagging end effect his comfort. I suppose you get what you pay for. This will probably be our last "rolled up in an impossibly small box, ordered online" mattress. I'll stick to buying in store. It is a comfortable mattress, and our son has been sleeping very well on it - hence the 3 stars. I just wish we would have forked over the extra $50 to get a nice twin mattress at Costco.
Ordered three - got three COMPLETELY different mattresses
February 23, 2014
I ordered a set of bunk beds with a trundle drawer so I needed three twin mattresses. What I received were three DIFFERENT mattresses. I would have no problem if the fabric was the only difference but the quality varies wildly. I can now understand how some people love their $95 mattress and some people thought the quality was very poor. My sons actually argued about which one they got because one was so clearly superior. . anyone who has more than one child knows that the best policy for keeping everyone happy is to keep an even playing field. :) Mattress one: excellent quality all around. Well worth the price. Mattress two: about what i expected. . completely fine, not great. Mattress three: it's still in the wrapper. . am thinking about returning it but can't imagine how to get it back into the box! Poor person who ends up sleeping on the guest trundle. . .I should not have to make that choice. . .seller needs to make sure all mattresses are of equal quality.

As my three-year-old twins tried to lay down in them, the cots would not stay flat and the mattresses sagged. They got very frustrated and could not get up from them. They kept crying to get out.
broke on the first use
May 5, 2017
i had high hopes for this, and my son loves it, dont get me wrong. what i hate is that the very first time he laid on it (he weighs 31lbs) a stabilizing joint broke off from the folding legs. it still works, but i was disappointed to have it break within minutes of setting it up and being gentle with it.
Not that durable.
March 10, 2017
Great size. I like how it collapses. But the build quality doesn't stand up to much. It says "do not jump on" but my 3 year old can't read... so if you have a rambunctious toddler get something a little sturdier. Ours now tilts to the side b/c of said child.
First use: perfect. Second use: scary for kids.
December 20, 2016
First use: perfect. Second attempt: the cot folds itself up when no one is holding it down by actually lying on it. The way it moves on its own is super scary for the toddler whose "bed" it is supposed to be. No one dares sit on one end as pictured. It behaves better without the sheet. My guess is that in its second washing, the sheet shrunk just enough to no longer fit just so. So not OK. As others have said, this cot desperately needs a simple locking mechanism. The surface of the cot is like a light canvas -- not an ideal sleeping feel, but acceptable. I'll ask my grandson use the cot for one more visit without the fitted sheet, then throw we'll the the whole thing away since the surface can't be laundered and I am not a gifted enough tailor to create a new sheet to fit just so.

This cot was adorably cute when we un-packaged it and it was a perfect size for our toddler. The downsides: 1) Cheaply made, the bottom pole bent when she fell on it by accident (now this is a two year old 25 pounds) that didnt seem reasonable for a pole to bend and mess up the whole cot, 2) it doesnt have a locking mechanism when opened, so when you open it make sure your child does not play around with it because he/she could get her fingers caught in the poles beneath, 3) you can actually feel the bars when you lay down on it (i would need to put a thick blanket ontop just for her to be comfortable). If your looking for something cute, compact and for short term for a child who doesnt fall or jump on things then this is def. for you!

Works great for naps at grandmas where there's no room for a bed. We use a thick blanket on top to make it more comfortable. My son loves it!***Update after 7 months of useMy son (2.5 y/o and 30 lbs) has used this twice a week at grandma's house for nap time for 7 months, and it has been great up until yesterday. Yesterday, he sat up (putting his weight on one end of the cot) after waking up from his nap and the rivet that holds the cross bar together on that end bent, causing the cot to drop closer to the floor on that end. It had probably been wearing down for a while since that's typically the end/side he climbs in on, putting all his weight on one spot momentarily. But this cot was not misused and he is well below the weight limit! I was upset to hear from Regalo that there is only a 90 day warranty and that they do not back the product. Having only paid $25 for it, I am not too upset, but will not purchase it again. I will try to fix it myself and hope we can get a few more months out of it. I think it will only last if a the child's weight is equally distributed at all times...it doesn't seem to be able to withstand 30 pounds on one end. Would not recommend. (Originally gave this 5 stars, but changing to 2 for the poor quality and customer service)

I have bought seven of these - best for kids or rental properties - not for the long-haul/adult use. Bad off-gassing/fumes.
August 22, 2016
I bought one of these for my son's room in late 2014 - it JUST stopped 'off-gassing.' There is nothing else in the room remotely new or synthetic that could cause this smell. I had to leave the windows open much more than I cared to, to get the smell to air out over the first year.I bought six more for a rental property I own, a year later, and they smelled quite strongly but not as bad. These are pretty comfortable (I like a soft bed, but firm-lovers have also applauded them), but do tend to sag pretty quickly and lose their shape. Best for kids or places you will be changing the mattresses after a couple of years. In our master, we have the ones that are mostly latex (from the same company), and are happy enough with them (European Sleep Works, based in Berkeley, sold us the best mattresses and pillows of our life).
Hit or Miss Purchase? MISS😞
November 23, 2015
I am not even certain I received the same item that I purchased. The bed was sealed well and unrolled well enough. 24hrs after unrolling....it was still underinflated in appearance. 1 week later...it is still a sub par bed. The edges never puffed up. It does NOT look like the bed in the picture. Has the appearance of a pillowtop...smells like pine and tree bark ( not horrid but not a nice scent) and it is also not particularly supportive. It has never been slept on as it is in our guest area. And really...guests would not be inclined to stay longer than 1 night on this " mattress".I have left 2 bad reviews in all my ...10? Years of shopping on amazon...THIS is bad review #2. I feel VERY guilty leaving this review but the mattress seems to be hit or miss...and the one I received was a definite miss.Amazon should discontinue offering this mattress for sale as it is not up to snuff with any company that may care for its clientele.
Shoddy workmanship and fit

Reviews are unworthy to be trusted here. You need to get your hands on this product ***Before making a decision***...but that is not possible. My wife and I set out to get our small children twin mattresses that would be sufficient until they grow a bit older. We tried it out and was not satisfied with the quality and comfort of this mattress. Thickness was about 7" once you let them expand but materials having strings hanging and the choice of fabrics was not desirable for us. The size of the mattresses varied a bit so the Twin standard of 75' X 38 was not strictly adhered to...Sometimes smaller so you had gaps fitting furniture. I would not recommend this mattress for anyone wanting a higher quality standard.
Wish I spent a little more for a decent mattress
May 24, 2014
I purchased this mattress for a 3yo toddler and it is just okay in terms of smell and comfort. Our mattress did not have a strong scent upon arrival. It is also soft (not hard at all as other reviews have mentioned). My main issue is that it is smaller than advertised size. There are 2 inch gaps around my son's twin size bed, which makes the mattress cover and sheets HUGE for the mattress. I wish I had not bought this and spent a bit more money to buy my son a decent mattress. Obviously, it is impossible to return this product since it comes vacuum sealed and once out of the box, there is no way you can find a box large enough to send it back.

As the previous reviews mentioned, everyone probably gets a different mattress and perhaps we were unlucky to have gotten a lower-end one.

Do not buy!

Only giving one star because zero is not an option. I've had this for less than 30 hrs for my 7 yr old who weighs less than 50 lbs. he has not jumped on it or abused it in any way but already three of the pins that hold it together have fallen out. It appears they should be crimped or have a rivet type end that holds the washer on but they are not expanded enough to hold the washer on.
the fram easily bent under my daughters 24lbs...

This is great for my toddler sleeping in our room for nights when she is sick or just wants a "sleep over." It doesn't lock into place when set up FYIafter using this for a month it started sloping to the point where my daughter would roll right out. The frame basically is collapsing on its self.
Uncomfortable and unsafe!
January 9, 2017
Awful product. The bed does not lay flat when it is open so there is a hump in the middle. Also there is no way to lock this open. It is REALLY easy for it it to fold up. I'm afraid that this will fold up on my restless 3-year-old. The sheet is a joke. It's made out of the same nylon material as the cot.
Cot did not seem sturdy or comfortable for my toddler
August 21, 2016
We purchased this cot to bring camping with us. My 2.5 year old was going to sleep on it in our tent. It did not seem sturdy enough for him to sleep on and it certainly was not comfortable. We returned it.
Uncomfortable for toddler
June 16, 2016
Unfortunately the negative comments about this cot all proved to be true. It was very hard and uncomfortable for our toddler and did not stay unfolded well. The support feet in the middle formed a ridge on the cot that was very awkward to lie on. We returned the cot and are looking for another option for travel.

I Hate This Mattress
August 4, 2016
I bought the set of two mattresses for my son's bunk bed. They are extremely firm. It doesn't seem to bother him, because he is only 3 and weighs 33 pounds, but for anyone of normal weight/size, it is like sleeping on a board. They each came rolled up like a sleeping bag for packaging, and it says to let them sit out to slowly gain their true shape. We’ve been using this for 4 months now, and neither mattress ever gained its shape on the corners. Some corners came close to looking normal, but most every corner completely sags down and it looks really bad/cheap. They are also REALLY heavy, from being all foam I suppose, which isn’t a big deal until you try changing the sheets on the bed and have to lift it up around the corners and edges. It’s a real challenge and makes me dread changing the sheets because of the hassle. Because they are foam, there is pretty much NO air circulation. My son is often sweaty on the whichever side of his body that was next to the mattress. I’ve fallen asleep a couple of times with him in the bed, and when I wake up my back is KILLING ME and I’m all sweaty from whichever side I was sleeping on. I don’t have any issue at all with my own mattress, as far as waking up in pain or sweat, so I know it’s the foam mattress. That last annoying thing I can say about these is that they don’t really fit in the frame of his standard twin bunk bed, both of them are too small and it leaves a significant opening between the mattress and the frame on all sides. I really have nothing positive to say about these other than they are inexpensive for being “mattresses”. No way I would ever buy these again and I will need to buy new ones as soon as I have the money. I will be opting for box springs next time for the comfort and breathability and correct shape.
Wait- Read - Do NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY!! There is no way this would look like the picture- the bed is not expanding it has been 2 1/12 days . I purchased the Twin/Full combo and it came rolled in one box (I am fine with that- I purchased a spring quilted mattress for my son and it was AWESOME- packaged the same way). After opening them, the mattresses failed to fully decompress. The corners are flat STILL and places in the middle -.... again 2 1/2 days taking up room in the house.I would not purchase this item. I may seek out another spring mattress instead. That fully decompressed in seconds... but never again just a foam mattress. HOW did this get 4 1/2 stars?????Amazon was great for my refund and for the customer service rcvd.
Given completely different mattress.

I bought two of these mattresses 2 years ago and they are amazing they were 5 star mattresses for the price. So when I had to buy a mattress for another bed I immediately purchased this one again. It is not even close to the original ones I purchased it stiff, smaller, and uncomfortable. I'm very upset and just want what I thought I was purchasing in the first place.
See inside this mattress!
April 16, 2015
After reading the reviews I opted in and purchased this mattress. From the description and other reviews I had thought that this was a a mid-firm mattress. However, after 2 months of use I noticed that the mattress sagged in the middle. I'm not a small person and at 180 lbs and 6 ft I assumed the depression was in bed frame, nope. After moving the mattress to the floor the depression was still just as visible and discernible when laying on the mattress on the floor. Flipped it over but nothing worked. As I had already missed the return date, I took my trusty fillet knife and peered in, like a magician, I had cut it in twade. Here are the measurements that I took of both the egg crate height and the total height to the tops of the egg crate. Side measurements taken 10 inches in from the edge and center measures are from center... First Picture, Side from bottom of mattress to egg crate peaks approx: 6.25 in. Second Picture, Center of mattress measuring from the bottom to the peaks approx: 5.75 in. Third pic. Center of mattress measuring only peak height of the egg crate approx: 1.75 in. Side measure of egg crate only 2.125 in. Adhering to the scientific method I made sure that the mattress was not used for one week and placed vertically on edge when measuring to nullify any anomalies caused by gravity or an uneven surface. These measurements are relatively close but if the foam has degraded that quick (3 month period) I can assure you that you will feel a drastic amount of sag in the mattress. If you have back problems I would not but this mattress. As such, I have purchased a different mattress from a local retailer and could not be happier with my choice to slice and dice this over priced piece of foam. Also, I used some of the foam to make a plush dog bed. Yes I'm out a chunk of money, but damn it fells good to be a Gangster ( addendum... Magician).Hope this is helpful. Cheers!
Comfortable but gor deshaped..!
February 23, 2015
The foam is comfortable and expands as stated in the product info, but got deshaped in a couple of days. Part of the neck support material has stretched and i can feel bumps in it. Didn't expect this to happen so soon! See the attached picture.
Not for regular use
July 18, 2014
Extremely disappointed with this purchase. I read all the reviews before purchasing this, reviewers said it was perfect for young children or guest bedrooms. I purchased this mattress for my three-year-old son who has a bed that does not need a box spring. I opened up the box and packaging, and let the mattress inflate for about 24 hours. At the end of the 24 hours, I noticed that the matches was not 7 inches thick. I placed it on my sons bed and by the third night he slept on it, it was already beginning to Divet in the middle. No doubt, I will definitely have to buy him a regular mattress soon. I do not recommend this mattress if it is going to get any kind of regular use, even if it is for a child. It would probably work just fine in a guestroom.
